Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE551KL - User Reviews

  • Same thing happened to my phone !

  • Using from nov 2015 without any major problems. But after last update touch screen acting weird. I think its time for an upgrade.

  • I bought this phone again for its camera. the rear camera is very crisp and takes really good pictures, while the front one opens up by default with a "beautifying" feature, that somehow retouches all wrinkles and facial blemishes automatically. Really useful for quick and great looking selfies. And yeah, the 3 Gb ram helps too.

  • I have mixed feelings about this phone. As far as the Camera goes, despite having the added laser autofocus, the photo quality was not as good as the rest of the Zenfone lineup. The images seemed too dark, with poor color saturation. Performance wise, it was above average for a phone in this price range, but for some reason it didn't like to play well with YouTube. Interestingly, the hotspot on it could stream YouTube seamlessly on two pc's simultaneously, and even lets us stream movies in both 720 and 1080 on our RoKu using a 4G LTE connection. In fact, the hotspot is so strong we have used it to game and have even LAN partied 4 PC's while maintaining 150-350ms pings across all 4 systems for hours without drop outs, making it more reliable then a lot of wireless routers out there. The biggest issue I have had with this phone and what makes it a TOTAL HEART BREAKING FAILURE is after using this phone for less then two years the battery started to expand and pushed the right edge of the touch screen out of the body of the phone, despite this it still works. I have contacted Asus support and will see if they can do anything to help me with it. They have asked me to start RMA process. I will post an update with my Asus Customer Experience later.

  • Yes, see text Battery Removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery

  • No. The device allows 2G/3G/4G in one SIM card while allows only 2G in the other one.

  • ZE551KL does have a removeable battery.

  • No it will not

  • Good day. I would like to ask if this ASUS Phone can work with two SIM´s in different LTE bands at the same time? Thanks

  • The battery is not removable, there are 16 screws that hold it.

  • Asus should intensify its phone marketing like motorola, honor , or agressive mkts by oppo /vivo . there built quality is bettering than sony /iphone , performance is at par with iphone / samsung . They have capability to get good market share . best phones in asking price.

  • It's WAS a good phone for the first year than it started having lot's of problems such and the battery drains fast, the phone lags ALOT plus when I was talking to my friend's they couldn't hear me from their phones b3cahse there was something wrong with it overall rating 4/10

  • Having been the owner Moto,Samsung,LG,Huawei, LP, Alcatel an a few other mfgs. Of all the phones my Asus Lazer Zen2 phone has been the easiest fastest most reliable phoneof all. I highly recommend this phone, in any phone comparison!!!

  • I bought this phone in December 2015. It was working well until I upgraded to Android Marshmellow. Since then a row of the screen stopped working. Apparently I should have moved apps to SD card first. Can this be rectified, it says my System reserved storage is full. Please help.

  • i m using this phone since last year. guys you cant believe how much I m satisfied with this phone . awsm performance, turbo app switch speed ,awsm battry perfrmnce, huge space of ram,. after m(6.0) update still its is giving speechless performance. there is only 1 drawback that camera is not capture a good picture in low light . front camera is awsm for selfi. getting lots of updates for every indivisual issues. I have recommended this phone to lots of ppls . they are also satisfied after purchased this phone .. guys you can go fo it really appreciate asus :-*

  • I got this phone 2 days ago and I am loving it. Someone told me it was huge and scared me but the size is fine. I can still maneuver with one hand and the one hand option works great too. Love that I am able to personalize it the way I like. It moves quickly and I haven't noticed any lag. Played Fruit Ninja and Phrase Wheel and no hitches. I am very happy with my purchase so far. Only thing is I did not get any earphones/headset. I saw in a review that some versions don't come with a pair, not sure how true this is or if it was taken out the box when it was shipped or something.

  • Just got it yesterday. Everything is good except the following: screen is not quite as bright as I'd like, headphone jack is at the top (wtf??), no nfc. But reasons I got it were: manufacturer supported bootloader unlock (cyanogenmod runs great), dual sim, relatively cheap, removable battery and sd card support. If you're on the fence I say go for it, great phone for the price range - got the 32GB model for $199 USD.

  • is this good phone or not

  • Is this good in gaming or the Zenfone 3 Max?

  • Asus, is an excellent phone

  • Should I buy this phone or Moto g4 plus?

  • i got a asus zenfone 2 and i cant listern to music which i transferd from pc it says could not play each time i select song i tried a hard reset and it wont work phone says fastboot mode!!! is there a way to put music on the phone and also is this phone faulty

  • I purchased one of these last Christmas for my mother and I have to say I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S5 through my work and I would choose the Asus phone over it. It may not be the best phone ever but even at par with a Samsung S5 for 1/3 the cost and it's unlocked so you can use it with the carrier of your choice. I have nothing but good things to say about the phone.

  • It depends on your location if 4G or LTE is available.

  • Is this phone worth the price? Because I've seen very positive comments about this model. I'm also thinking of getting this or a BLU Vivo 5.

  • I have zenfone2 laser ze551kl 3gb ram 16 gb memory... want to sale it.. phone is 100%ok with box & orignal charger nevr open & repair.... location Lahore wapda town Demand 22,000/- 03214707010 Fahad

  • Bought this phone last year and I have to say, for the price I'm relatively impressed. Has a great camera and plenty of photographic features, although I don't use it much. Also has decent speed and works totally fine with many different carriers (I've gone through a few phone companies already). At the price of $200, you probably won't find a better phone than this, with the 3GB ram and 16 GB storage + expandable micro SD slot. Battery is pretty decent too. With heavy all day use (Bluetooth + internet + music playing + messaging) it'll still have some battery left before I charge it just before I go to sleep. However, nothing is without flaws. With regards to this phone, the flaws are small and relatively insignificant. The software is occasionally slightly buggy, but nothing serious. It does sometimes crash (maybe once every other week or even rarer, from my usage) if you try to do too much on it and cause it to overheat. Also, the firmware always fails to update, but I suspect that may be an SKU region code error or something like that, since it is an international phone. Good news is this phone is rootable and compatible with a special release of CyanogenMod so I might flash it sometime in the near future. Also, the default music player is incapable of handling large libraries of songs (at one point I had 6000+) but I found a great 3rd party app (BlackPlayer) so that's fine. Overall, this phone packs a sweet punch for the very modest price, if you don't mind a few minor bugs. If you need a good budget phone, look no further.

  • i do not recommend this phone!!! Its been 10 months and it was a pain in the ass!! though i have a 8g memory to expand my phones storge and whenever you update on something it completely lags. You also have to reboot it a couple of times to cooperate. a NO NO ! trust me!

  • Does this phone contain fingerprint sensors??

  • Why Is My Mobile Data Using H+ ? is it supposed tobe 4G ... PLEASE HELP ME

  • Upgraded to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Everything works well. Good job Asus!

  • lol its actually the laser autofocus thats ausing these noises, no worries tho its normal

  • Don't worry about all the bloatware, just update to android 6.0 and it will all be deleted. You can expect more than 6 hours of battery at low brightness, no location, no bluetooth. Camera is okay like all phones at that price. But the best thing is ZenUI, you can customize every aspect of the phone it's awesome! I've used it heavily for a few days, never lagged or heated up and there's always more than 1GB of ram free. Best good phone for the price, better than Moto G3, you should definitively buy it. If you find this phone a bit too overpowered I would recommend Grand Prime.

  • Terrific phone for the price! Pros: Unlocked, decent screen resolution, good battery life, 3 GB RAM, Micro SD slot, Dual SIM (for those who may use this). Cons: Very slow OS update releases from ASUS, Marshmallow 6.01 does not support apps2sd (the ability to install / copy apps to SD card), wifi is 2.4Ghz only, weak screen backlight, all-plastic contruction, weak 3D graphic acceleration (Adreno 405), lots of bloatware included, low camera image quality (Laser focus is a gimmick). This is an excellent cheap phone, and highly recommended for those who need an unlocked phone on a budget, e.g., if your flagship is in for repair. It's a good all-rounder that performs smoothly for everyday use, but it's terrible with 3D games.

  • 1080p

  • Guys has anyoneof you noticed if your zenfone 2 laser has this weird knocking issue coming from the back of the phone. We've noticed our zenfone 2 laser has this issue whenever we shake it,feels like something is loose at the back? Or is it a special feature we just are not aware of?

  • which model of zenfone laser is best ZE551KL(1080p) or ZE550KL(720p)?? i want opinion from those have used!!!! pls tell me

  • is this 1080p screen or 720p screen???

  • Good Mobile Economical am loving this mobile asus great thanks asus

  • screen guard covering proximy sensor so kindly remove the screen protector use only genuine protective film.

  • Buy This Phone Undoubtedly...Camera is Ultimate Feature...it have good battery backup i get 2days backup it is very pretty mobile this year.

  • excellent mobile from asus not other brands not up to the level but asus is very cool I use it from 5 month, and it is fast, nice and I love it. My next phone will be another asus...thanks for asus

  • Go to SETTINGS / SIM config and make some necessary changes. I just put the sim cards and it begin work, by itself. I remember that I should make some changes for 4G providers and a bit things that my operator give me

  • I use it from 3 month, and it is fast, nice and I love it. My next phone will be another asus

  • Your screen protector is interfering with proximity sensor due to misalignment in cut outs. Once you remove the protector, it should go back to normal.

  • usually because the protective glass blocked the proximity sensor. my suggestion is to replace it or disable the sensor

  • its awesome

  • I just bought a ZE551KL and added it a protective glass. I´m having problems with the screen during a phone call. Does anyone knows why? Thanks

  • Hi Community, My Asus Zenfone Laser 2 550, is prompting for an Software upgrade, to Android 6 Marshmallow. Has any one done the upgrade, and can any one share there experience about the phone, post upgrade. Thanks in advance.

  • Yes it has a good battery life and it lasts all day long.😲

  • Hang problem

  • If you want graphical performance you may want to consider its Twin Sister, ZE601KL. They're both very similiar in specs, looks and size exactly the same. Notable difference: ZE600KL: SD615, 720p Screen resolution (my personal preference for battery life and Gaming Framerates) ZE601KL: Some variant equips the newer SD616 if you're in one of the lucky regions, 1080p Screen resolution (may be better for such a 6.0" big phone for PPI sake, but not for framerates nor battery life). Notable similiarities: 6.0", Adreno405, both have 2GB/3GB ram variants region dependent, both have 16GB/32GB ROM variants region dependent, Expandable Memory (128GB?), 3000 mAh Removable Battery (too small for both variants of such a big screen as i am a power user, Snapdragon 615 is quite the power sipper though. Removable Battery = Unlimited Capacity :-D)

  • I heard "Dual Active" here means when ANY one of the 2 SIMs connected to Internet 4G/3G, yes the other sim will have to comply with 2G connection (means 2G calls and messages, NOT INTERNET e.g Whatsapp calls, Hangouts, etc.) but you do have the advantage of SWITCHING to the other SIM slot for Internet (4G/3G) say, when your Internet Subscription/Quota on the 1st SIM runs out for example, WITHOUT NEEDING TO SWAP THE CARDS which otherwise requires turning off the phone for swapping. So probably, you do have the "Dual Active" capability if they're BOTH strictly 2G calls. I think a "Dual 4G" classification is more accurate than "Dual Active", if you can't do "Dual Active" on 2G calls either.

  • oppo f1

  • hey i,s it support high graphic game like fifa 15 or 16 unlimited team...can anyone give this answer plz?????? I want to buy this phone.

  • yeah ur right. they should rename their models so that it is not confusing to buyers.

  • Asus zenfone 2 laser ze551kl or oppo f1 is better

  • i have buy this phone but could not make dual incoming or outgoing call as mention above dual active . could anyone explain?

  • thank you for replying. it is true that by overclocking the slower cores you can get even more power, but my point as the biggest advantage of a big.LITTLE setup vs True Octacore is in power efficiency, not raw performance speeds. I wished GSMA would actually complete the Review for SONY Xperia M5 (missing battery test result). The closest devices to it I could find THAT HAVE A BEEN REVIEWED BY GSMA are the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and the newly reviewed OPPO F1 Plus (Xiaomi is powered by the exact same chipset but featuring a larger screen, while OPPO powered by a newer generation of the Helio moniker, X10 vs P10, and double the Ram, also better GPU). The Xiaomi device posted a 49 H score, while the OPPO device posted a 74 H score. For comparison, the 6.0" FHD Xperia C5 Ultra posted a 62 H score. Additionally, here I also like to mention the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Mediatek Helio X10) scored 72 H with a 4000mAh supplying the 5.5" FHD, and the Redmi Mi4 (Sd801, 5.0" FHD, 3080mAh) scored 68 H. My motivation is to expect and try to prove by waiting for GSMA REVIEW that a SONY device powered by either Snapdragon or Mediatek chipset would last longer on a single charge, by posting higher GSMA Battery Rating than the similarly equipped Xiaomi device, or any other brand for that matter. I've sent them an email on this matter, too.

  • Your claims are true. This isn't working together like a true octa-core. You do have the ability to make them work more efficiently by overclocking for tasks that are multi-thread tasks that will need more power to operate effectively it'll also bump up single core performance a bit as well. Rooting is the best for any android device. I recommend waiting to get any issues worked out maybe 6-8 months and then following through with root. XDA has a large write up and a lot of one click methods for root on the ze551kl.

  • not all models of the phone have a removable battery. I believe most if not all of the USA laser variants have a removable battery, but the non-laser models shouldn't have a removable battery.

  • dang! sounds like you got the lemon of the bunch. I would call asus and tell them you want it replaced. They actually give prepaid credit cards for the ze551kl that you can use to purchase a new phone while you send yours to them maybe you got a couple bad support reps? I'd try that so you don't get screwed over.

  • This phone has been great! I did have a little hiccup when I first got it where the firmware didn't want to automatically update, but after installing the latest version provided on the asus support site it's auto updated ever since and hasn't caused any problems. Marshmallow is expected to come end of June for USA so look forward to that. You can alternatively install cyanogenmod 13 and install custom kernels and overclock it cause it's currently underutilized on the second quad it only runs at 1 ghz when it can run at 1.7 giving you an extra 2.8 ghz to play with or more, plus you can get rid of all the bloatware that slows this exceptional phone down in the first place.

  • Worst experience with ASUS Zenfone 2, Hardware failure forced me to visit the service center thrice within the first six month itself. Asus not ready to replace the hardware as they are saying they offer only Repair Warranty. Repair warranty for how many repairs in an year?? I have not purchased the phone to keep running to the service center and availing the repair warranty. Lost important data thrice and still frustrated as the phone is still with service center.

  • Does Ze551kl 16GB and 32GB internal memory has the same price!? Thankyou. I'm from Laguna, Philippines :)

  • is it just me, or all Zenfone Lasers have REMOVABLE BATTERIES ? as you can see in the Review for ZE551ML a.k.a Zenfone 2 the phone only lets you to pop the back cover for access on those cards slots But Not The Battery

  • Hi Joboyskill, I see other users have answered at least one of your two questions. Q1: is it an Octacore? A: Yes. Q2: is a double Quadcore (such as this one, big.LITTLE setup) equal to a True Octacore? A: NO. Because a true Octacore could be Faster by making all its 8 cores working simultaneously to achieve its full speed, big.LITTLE setup I think is an intelligent Power Saving solution to that "True Octacore", by only allowing ?half? of its total of 8 cores to work ?at any given time? by alternating between the two groups, one is fast but uses more energy, one is slower but much more energy efficient, where as the other user said the fast one "kicks in" when detecting heavier tasks/load of activities beyond the capability of the slower cores. Conclusion: I'm in no position or have any experience/sufficient knowledge to say all these techie stuff accurately, but I'll state my personal opinion anyway. I categorise the big.LITTLE setup NOT as an Octacore, but as a very intelligent/powerful Quadcore. Things I'm not sure about are sandwiched by a pair of question marks "?" that I expect other users would enlight me on the matter, or if I made any mistake any other way.

  • yeah i agree

  • Asus should change their name models... great phones but confusing as hell.

  • A great smartphone that can do better with a Super AMOLED Display,a better optimised software and quick charger.

  • Does it have quick charge? I'm in doubt some websites mention it has, some says it don't. By the way it has radio. I didn't receive any quick charger with it. I was thinking to buy one. Gsmarena has always been updated but I'm really disappointed this time that they have not updated the specs of this phone. By the way the battery is quite good. Takes out my whole day from 8am till 1 am easily on LTE. Just tell me about quick charge

  • search the asus zenfune 2 laser group and beth lim sa facebook.. its available.

  • Hi, Im planning on buying this phone. I would like to know the battery life of this phone, from a heavy/moderate user. Does it last the whole day? how much is your average screen on time? THanks

  • Honestly, im pretty disappointed with this phone. It is extremely buggy, you can be typing in the message box and nothing is showing also can not reset notifications to all on home page (wont change off of "hide sensitive information" and you cant send it and radio has to have a cable plugged in to work (not sure why...) very slow and for older phones around the same price point to have better cameras. processors and memory. Overall pretty lack luster phone. Seems to be a trend with Asus.

  • Phone is Available here is the Philippines 14,990PHP that is around $350 and as a surprise the specs are almost the same aside from the built in storage which is 64GB... GSMA only indicated 16/32GB...

  • It would be a lot better to use Super AMOLED displays in these and a better stock optimized roms.

  • i buy this phone one week ago. now i am facing heating problem of this phone. whenever camera is in use then it get quickly heat. or by play games it g ets more heat. please suggest some solution if any one konws..

  • Yup. It's called a big.LITTLE configuration. It works by having two sets of (4 in this case) cores added together to make an octa-core processor. The faster cores (quad-core 1.7 GHz.) kick in when doing intense stuff like gaming. For light tasks, the slower/battery cores are used to reduce battery usage.

  • I own a zenfone 2 laser ze551kl and i can confirm that the phone has: FM radio flac player

  • In Thane asus gallery is near station at koliwada

  • Excellent mobile phone. Very good performance, battery life and unbeatable price.

  • n0

  • pls give me asus mobile showroom in thane

  • Will ASUS ZENFONE 2 Laser ze551kl(3 GB ram;5.5inch;1.5 Ghz) will HANG

  • So do you consider this phone superior yo moto g 3rd generación. Which are the cons of it?

  • Yes

  • Just received a new update to my 32GB [3gb ram] laser phone. Update version is LRX22G.WW_user_1.17.40.1234_20160304 This time, however, Asus decided not to public ANY information on this update... I feel like Asus is turning into Apple more and more.. Anyways, nothing noticeable after the update yet, but My Nova Launcher [show quick settings] swipe gesture is not working properly. Hoping the mic issue is resolved [having to switch to loudspeaker to be heard]. Again, it's not acceptable of Asus not to public what's new on its updates.. That's extremely disrespectful to its consumers.

  • mic not working during phone call and have to switch to loudspeaker. Or we have to reboot phone and it will work for another couple of hours. 90% users having the same issue. No update from Asus since last 1.5 Months.

  • I own the 3rd Moto G and currently am using the Zenfone 2 laser, and I can say that it doesn't really heat up when watching YouTube for extended periods of time. As gaming is concerned I've only noticed some heat generated at the top left corner if facing the screen vertically and I'm guessing it's more the CPU, but it never, ever got anywhere near as hot as the Moto G. The battery seems so do a good job at not generating much heat and is very comfortable to hold.

  • yes

  • Are there heating problems with this phone while you play videogames or watch videos con YouTube? I have a moto-G And the screen heats up so bad. Thanks un advance

  • Good phone and love the camera...new user to Asus phone...one problem how to lock screen while watching video....

  • can anybody clarify that this phone is dual sim active. That is if i am using one sim, i can get call from another sim. Thanks

  • Oh . Dont u see,too many complaint about it,in the forum.

  • in short? this phone is octacore?

  • In short? This Phone was OCTA CORE?

  • in short? this phone was OCTA CORE?

  • Yeah there is octa core two quad core combination is give as 4 cores each would work on a different process. For e.g. 4 cores A53 work on intensive process & other 4 cores A53 work on normal background process.

  • is this phone supports octa-core or not? I'm very confused with this "Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53" is two quadcores are equal to octa?

  • hii.. achu... may be lenovo k4 is best handset because ..sensore Fingerprint and procecer is octa core ..so i think lenovo k4 not is best option

  • Which is a better smartphone below 15000? ............................ Asus zenfone ze551kl, lenovo k4 note / others

  • Would love this device if it had a 720p Super Amoled display.

  • it supports otg

  • Srsly? The ZE551KL? Did you know how much it is? Compared to ZE500KL and ZE550KL?

  • its available in Market Market 5th floor

  • Supports otg or not??

  • I hope this version of Z2 Laser will be available to PH.

  • hi friends could any body tell me that how mach time does it take to charge 5 to 100 & 50 to 100 plz....

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 doesn't have "Protection Corning Gorilla Glass 4"

  • Dear friend To save your pics from disappearing install DUMPSTER it's a recycle bin kind of app which will hold your pics from flying and you can restore it from there. Probable cause of yr problem is VIRUS get your mobile fully scaned by a PC antivirus and format ur mob . Because mobile antivirus does not work. Hope this would help

  • This have a Gyro sensor ???

  • Redmi mobile not have any expandable memory so u buy asus

  • Go 4 redmi sinxe it has good cameta quality i dont think that asus have good camera

  • does 16gb are just enough or should go buy a 32gb ver?

  • 551kl because of the better ram, processor, full hd display and faster autofocus

  • Go for Asus zenfone 2 Laser because u cant expand memory in Redmi note 3.

  • it jst a superb phn,it has no lag during asphalt 8.good phone. i lov it...........

  • Which is better? ze550kl or ze551kl ???

  • Have you removed the plastic cover from the camera lens?

  • I have this for about 2 weeks, despite having a lot of bloatware the phone is very quick and it doesn't lag. GPS signal is good (even inside my house), battery is very good also, it lasts 40hours+- for me (not playing any games just some calls/whatsapp/fb/surfing). cameras are kinda good for 13/5mp. Speakers on max volume are not loud enough. TL;DR: +fast +good GPS +good battery +double tap to wake/sleep +decent cameras -bloatware (you can't remove all of it) -"weak" speakers

  • Please Help me to choose : Redmi Note 3 (32GB) or Asus ZE551kl both have same memory but asus has a removeable battry and redmi note 3 has 4000mAh and better camera (f2.2) and stronger CPU. help me to choose. both have almost same price.

  • Not yet. I guess we have to wait first to 5.1 and then Marshmallow 6.0.

  • i wanna buy Asus Zenfone 2 Laser of this version 551KL . but i cant find it in any online store in india . And i think its priced around 15k . And is the galaxy j7 or redmi note 2 prime will better than it ?

  • Dual standby means you can have both sim cards in standby network. Dual call you can receive on the two sim cards. If one is busy and someone tries to reach you the other the caller stays on hold

  • can i upgrade Android-6.0 ? {ZE551KL}

  • What is the difference between Dual standby and Dual call?

  • Is this already availabe in the philippines the full hd one and 5.5 inch screen? If yes where can i find it

  • like the phone

  • Overall, it's a good phone for the price, though it won't compete with the flagships models. Some things which may be improved in a software update. : Thee volume through the earphones is low, especially while playing the FM radio. The battery seems to be depleting fast when the screen is on, e.g. web browsing over wifi/LTE. May not be surprising given a 5.5" 1080p display. Neither one is a deal breaker for this price though. The LTE works on the T Mobile network, band 4.

  • i have update to the last Asus version, everything ok, no problem!!!including the Share Link from Asus..

  • Hey, can someone tell me if this phone will be available and when in Europe? When i search is always US...:(

  • I have this phone. I think its more than decent for the price you pay for it. There are a couple omissions in the specs. It has FM Radio, and it also has a gyroscope sensor. Battery life is a bit disapointing when the screen is on. Standby time is fine. It has more RAM than the MotoX Play but ASUS puts more software to eat it up too.

  • i think it is a very good phone every configuration of this phone is perfect. isn't it?. i want to buy this phone, can you please give me a information- is it available in "India"?

Boost memory when you see memory consumes is high with no app running, 5. check for background running applications, stop/disable unwanted apps, you can manage apps from auto-start manager. 6. check for latest ZenUI/3rd party Apps update.

  • Do you already have the phone? If so, you should get rid of as much bloatware as you can, here's the tutorial . By doing this all disabled apps will not take up any ram, and the remaining 5 or so apps, you can just hide and they don't really use up that much ram anyway. You should be able to see improvements

  • Getting this phone on 11/19. I have done some INTENSE research and what I've found for the pros and cons are... Pros-Feels great in hand, High quality pics for price range, runs very smoothly, has good battery life. Removable battery Cons-Lots of bloatware(but you can uninstall/disable most of it),battery life is being held back by the outdated android(the os can drain up to about 40% of the battery, but asus is working on an update, release tbd), and there are a few bugs, but no phone is perfect Overall, this phone is an amazing work of art for 200-250 bucks and I hope asus, like oneplus, will "Never stop improving"

  • plz give me some idea when vl it b release

  • For me, these are good specifications but I am not sure if the phone seems good when i use it. I also do not know if there is laser technique indeed on which the camera depends.

  • I've gotta get this PHONE! Excellent specs, and a fabulously unbeatable low price. Hopefully the slightly lower-than premium screen resolution allows for longer battery life while enjoying games and movies. Asus is now my favorite!

  • I. Want. This. Phone! Asus has now become my favorite for making this. Great specs, and an unbeatable low price. I've been waiting for this forever. Finally I can replace my ancient Samsung Galaxy S II, SGH-T989.
