  • To Frustrated, You got this phone and wishes to start fresh. I would suggest getting a time machine and going back to 1979 when this phone first came out. You will be as fresh as the others! :) i kid, i kid.

  • This phone, although primitave by today's standards still revolutionized the PDA so you shouldn't post negative comments. I would have bought the Blackberry Curve from Sprint instead though because it only costs $20 more and is pretty much up to date and has much more options.

  • simply awesome best in world

  • I got this phone on e-bay & need to know how to clear it all out and start fresh. Anybody know how????

  • I like this , very cheap

  • I bought this phone last year for use outside of the USA. It is GSM, so it works on any system outside of the states. I just got back from 10 days in the Dominican Republic. When I arrived, I got it activated on the Orange system. It worked very well and I was not required to buy an internet package like here in the states. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult at times to here the receive audio. Does anybody know if there is a fix for this? By the way, I paid $18 for this phone on Ebay

  • I got it. Everything's okey features and price.

  • I just got one of these things and the GPS is sweet AS.

  • but my question is..how do i copy sim contacts once to the phone

  • i love it.its a small mobile office.

  • I just got a 6230 on ebay, and it seems like the battery is not charging. How can I tell? Do I need to wait 3-4 hours? The light comes on initially when I plug it in, but goes out after a few seconds. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Mike

  • I have a blackberry 6230 and really like it. just to let Stephen from Sydney know about his problem, if it has already been answered sorry. I am in Brisbane and purchased mine of the net. The country code problem can be fixed in the SMART DIALING section, here you can set the code permanently and it will automatically dial that part for you, you never need to worry about it again unless you use it in a different country. Anne

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaao wat a useless fone wid lot of keys.

  • A blackberry is usually meant for business people. I'm sure people who have business etc aren't wanting to play with games and cameras etc. I think its a good thing to have when you need to keep in touch with employers etc..

  • just got mine from ebay woooooooooow what a shitty phone wish i didnt bid- cool green backlite on screen tough

  • I was excited when i first received the phone, but its cumbersome to operate with the quarty keyboard, and the configuration is USA based an I am in Nairobi so it calls all my numbers with a + 10 ontop.

  • this phone is no use what is the purpose of this phone when it doesn't even have bluetooth,games,mp3,camera,infrared,memory card and it is worth all that money come on people you can do much better with that phone drop the kiss may a-- price on the phone it like a walkie talkie

  • i use one of this.tis cool although it looks like a calculator.its ring sounds sucks and pic quality same.i only use it 2 make nd receive call and as an add book too.thats all 2 write home about.bought mine for $80.

  • I think that blackberry phones are aight! I think they should have a camera! OOhh! and internet to.

  • awesome

  • It's not that bad. It is a great starter blackberry. But if you are trying looking for an impressive phone. Keep looking. I wish it had a camera phone and MP3 capabilities.

  • tssk tssk...is this a phone?? or a kiddy kiddy toy game for a child?? ah, maybe a calculater? or a bomb detector?..haahaa ...LOL, anything but a phone....LOL LOL LOL...HAAAHAAA....:D

  • Hi is this phone any gud?

  • I purchased the 6230 off the internet and live in Sydney Australia. To make calls to other Aust states or for cell numbers, I need to put the Australian (+61) country code in before I get connected. My provider says this is to do with the 6230 programming. Are there any tec heads out there that can help me solve my problem?

  • ugly

  • I have problems using this phone in the sw at the following sectors:93483722202, 93483722203,93483722204.Anyone know about this problem?

  • This product is the pits. It doesnt hold a charge, the battery can only be charged 4 - 5 x's and then you need a new one. lost productivity, lost money

  • what is the point of blackberrys, there big, ugle and dont do much.

  • hot

  • great good super all of the above

  • the best thing that hit the market since sliced bread

  • Tut Tut Tut..... This brick with buttons takes me back in the days of the motorola 300 (one to one) package years ago, but this only has more buttons.... soon blackberry will bring out phones the size of laptops, so what then, u need a ruck sack to carry your phone?? this aint technology this is stupidity, no need for all this C**P, waste of hard earned cash ill just give mine to my son he likes to take his toys in the bath to play, lets se if the blackberry works then???

  • This is typewriter. Where's my 'ping' button??

  • Tell me one new phone that does not have email and is worth buying. they all do mate

  • It may not be pretty but it's features are good and it's not that expensive. The keypad can be disorienting though because it is in QWERTY format but you get used to it. It also allows the user to access email, this is good for people constantly on the move and would like to stay connected without having to pull out their laptops.

  • wat a interesting calculator!! oh,wait..its a hp,hmm..not bad..da design is gud....reminds me of da calculator dat i always use,wait..its a hp..

  • What the hell is this it looks like one of those childrens toys that teaches you how to count and say "dog goes Woof" and stuff!! V-TECH!!! haha this phone is a joke just give up blackberry or start sellin em as door stops
