HP Veer - User Reviews

  • my hp phone Pre 3 does not boot, how do i fix it..it shows just hp and just stay there.

  • where can i buy one from egypt

  • Yes it does

  • i m also using hp web os i need viber but its not support to web os.. pls suggest any alternatives.

  • I have only seen it in black or white

  • is this available in other color scheme too?

  • i dont have a link a the moment, but search for dogbert's veer unlock

  • Can I print messages directly via wifi to a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 printer?

  • Anyone know how to unlock? HP replaced my Veer due to a warranty claim but the phone they sent is locked and I can not find anywhere how to unlock it. HP no longer supports the device and sent me to AT&T but I am not an AT&T customer so no love there. I use it as a prepaid device (or at least I did when it was functioning).

  • Can it whatup

  • can any thing be done to my veer's cracked screen????

  • this is so nice phone

  • i have hp veer i want format this mobile whats proses

  • phn is soo sweet

  • soo cool, soo small

  • i want HP VEER.where i get?

  • unfortunately no whatsapp but lots users have asked for it so maybe one day but don't hold your breathe...

  • Does Hp veer use whatsapp and also Viber?

  • This phone is great if you like small!!....i don't know why phones are getting bigger and bigger, this is the smallest smart phone i could find and works quiet well, unfortunately the webos app market is not supported like android or apple...webosnation shows about 7000 apps only... the camera is not the best and has no flash or focus, and its a pity there is microSD slot. I normally hate how manufactures try be clever and introduce propriety connectors and charge a fortune for their accessories when they could and should all use standard micro usb connections which obviously are universal? that's the idea....however in this instance the HP magnetic usb cable and the touchstone docking station are well designed and operate well and they are not much more than the standard usb to purchase. A positive in this case. the video player is fine, emails functions great, and internet browsing is fast enough. Battery life is reasonable compared to other smart phones, a good charge overnight enough to last throughout the day with normal everyday use. I couldn't get gps navigation to work in australia, probably not supported and also facebook photos don't load and not sure why? overall a thumbs up, the size of the phone with a keyboard is the best feature, i don't fancy carying a brick around....however would welcome a future upgrade version of this phone keeping the same size but perhaps addressing the camera and microsim, don't really care too much about the apps.

  • GUYS same wit me also......hp veer jst fell down n it`s screen broke..

  • buy here

  • hi i am srinivas, we r using hp veer unfortunately glass break plz send call centre address

  • hai.. my phone also breakdown glass... so plz send service center addres.. plzz

  • iam using this phone for last 3months its good but unfortuanatly dropdown display braked how to book the panel

  • where did u buy it? even i want to buy one.

  • battery is very poor especially for people in India. It has no skype or g talk and none of the instant messaging software totally waste. I'm using it for the past one week its totally waste of money. Ringing tone volume is very low. application catalog will not connect to the network soon. Many drawbacks only adv is good camera.

  • Lost my Palm Pre Plus, at&t thought this was computable to the phone I had. My answer is no!! at&t fail

  • Has jp merged with palm. Phones look identical with identical features. Lousy + lousy = rubbish

  • dam, i hate to love this phone.... why they dont give front camera ? awesome phone... but skype and gtalk video.... :-( :-(

  • Will 3g work in India on this AT&T unlocked version from US? I would like to buy one from ebay where unlocked versions are being sold.

  • Is there a similar phone on the market that can be considered a competitor to the HP Veer (smartphone os and dimensions)?

  • i dont care about your problem

  • hey, i live in a latin country and i use front facing camera a lot, but problem is that local people from here dont buy a lot front facing cameras cells which are very useful so thats the only problem, but front fac cam cell are very very usefull

  • In the UK very few use it, if any. I've never known anyone use it. I work for a mobile phone company and you have to ask for a special video call package added to your tariff. No-one asks for it. When I speak to my gf, I don't want to see her face aswell!!!! Can't imagine anything worse. It makes lying about where you are and who you are with very tough. But seriously, video calls became possible here in 2004/2005. There was lot of TV adverts, a few people tried it (including me) and it never too off.

  • are you sure no one uses a front facing camera? Are you really sure? I'm from a third world country. And I use front facing camera almost everyday. I talked to my girlfriend using fring, and has a video call feature. I find that very useful. And felt realistic. Not all the time users have same preferences. Don't be too narrow minded.

  • Who uses front cams???? No one. I've never ever known anyone to make a video call, ever, ever. I don't live in some little third world country. I'm English and front facing cameras and video calling are not used by anyone ever. Someone tried to call me a few years ago via a video call. I dropped the call and called them back with a normal call. I can't believe anyone in the world makes video calls.

  • no front cam.... :-( bad, 3g phones with no front cam suck. good and compact. will never buy, becoz of no front cam.

  • an upgrade version for the alctatel ot 981a and motorola spice

  • I take it you mean the close-up of the AZERTY keyboard? AZERTY is the prefered layout in French speaking countries, just as QWERTZ is in Eastern Europe etc. Take a look at the Wikipedia article on keyboard layouts.

  • WTF is wrong with this phone's "qwerty" which is not QWERTY ?! :D

  • I have a Touch Dual with a 2.6" screen. not much different from my Touch Diamond with a 2.8" screen. Still very comfortable to work with. :) I guess this is for people who like compact phones.

  • Great compact phone from HP. The browser is flash enabled. If only the cam has auto-focus.

  • Still love my Nokia N82 and can watch/display Youtube & my own vids on it just fine. Considering that the Veer screen is bigger than the N82 there's definitely a market for this at the right price. For the bigger is better crowd - that's what the Pre 3 is for.

  • QWERTY keyboard would be roomy, if it was side slider/flip.

  • What a joke ! 2.6" screen is like Samsung Champ with a keyboard and a smartphone OS. Hope that the next veer will have a 2.8" screen or better.

  • jai hind

  • want to see review of this phone.......

  • the best litle smartphone created for market

  • I know it's small, but it has a bad battery life for a smartphone

  • I want onee. :)

  • Awesome little device! It's as powerful as some gorilla Android phones, like the G2, but bite-size. Definitely want!

  • No music?!

  • It's true that no radio and secondary front camera? Then not for me! But other detales, specification, size it's good.

  • And hope this comes with a best competitive price.

  • When it supports 3G, they could have given secondary camera too for video calls. Overall a good product but.

  • cute phone

  • They could have made the screen 2.8" and a autofocus camera instead of a fixed focus one. Who wants that ?

  • need more battery ampere if we want to use this ph0ne

  • yes this phone looks awesome.i will love to see it's operating system review.and forgot i am second

  • HP began to rule. Respect!!!
