Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8 - User Reviews

  • best experience for a tablet. mine doesn't lag

  • Does not suit for family use as does not support multiple users (what's even worse - understood that it should be standard feature of Anroid but it has been blocked by Huawei)

  • lag ......

  • My follow-up questions: 1 Is there a systemwide dark mode? 2 Is there a swipe up to reveal the apps tray? (hate the apps tray icon and the traditional 3 nav buttons on the bottom of the screen) 3 Any new enhancements to the audio? How loud (in dB) can the speakers go? 4 IS there a Night Mode or blue light filter? 5 Is there a Chromecast support? Or do we have to download a 3rd-party app? 6 Can we still install 3rd-party launchers? 7. Is the tablet now up to EMUI 9.0? 8 Will this tablet ever get 9 Pie in the future? 9 Does the tablet support fast charging? Many thanks.

  • 1. Latest version it has is Android 7.0 (EMUI 5.1.3) 2. Doesn't really offer much of audio settings 3. It supports Wi-Fi 11ac 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz 4. You can calibrate the color temperature in the settings

  • Hi. 1. What is the current Android version of this tablet? 2. What other audio settings does it offer? (equaliser?) 2. Does this come with dual-band & dual-channel wifi? and does it aupport 5Ghz wifi band? 3. Is there screen colour calibration settings? (e.g. Vivid or plain, Warm or cold, etc.) 4. Is there a built-in blue light filter or on & off toggle? 5. How bright can the screen go? (Huawei devices are not known to have bright screen). Would you say the dual-speakers are way louder than an iPad mini? Does the speakers have some bass to it? 6. Is there a way to cast the screen to a TV via Chromecast? 7. can i install a custom launcher such as Nova? Between this and the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus which you think has a louder & much richer speakers sound?

  • Yes, it supports chromecast, 5GHZ Wifi, but no equalizer. I'm fine without the equalizer since the device has Harman Karon, and I use Poweramp which is extremely worthit when it comes to fine tuning your sound.

  • More questions for the tablet: 1. Does this have Chromecast support (and with Chromecast symbol on the drop down shortcuts)? 2. Does it have equaliser settings under Audio,Sound or Music in Settings? 3. Does this support 5Ghz and ac wifi? 4. is the RAM of LPDDR3 or LPDDR4 variant? 5. What screen quality & resolution settings does it have?

  • I need to know...Between Huawei (with their Media Pad tablets), Lenovo (with Tab 4 lineup) and Xiaomi (Mi Pad 4) which company would you consider is doing more intiative in releasing updates (security, major Android updates, etc.) more quicker, more often and more longer?

  • I'm trying to compare this with the Lenovo Tab 4 HD Plus (8-inch) and the Xiaomi Mipad 8. 1. What is the latest & current Android version of this tablet? 2. Does it support the latest/fastest microSD-XC class currently out there? 3. Does it have USB Type-C port for charging? 4. Between this and the Lenovo and Xiaomi which do you guys think is better with updates + battery life, general performance and speakers sound output?

  • It's a bad tablet i would rather add some more money and buy the ipad. It been 3 months i've used this tablet and it sometimes it just restarts randomly. To be honest, at first this tablet is better than my previous ipad mini 2 but now after using it it feels sluggish and slow all the time and it's getting even worse than my old ipad mini 2. So in conclusion, if you want a fast tablet better go for the new gen ipad rather than this tablet but if you just want okay-ish performance than this tablet is for you

  • Radio? You can download a radio program from internet.

  • Can you connect it on projector or tv?

  • How about its 4G data conection? Any problem?

  • It's very fast and not laggy at all. The displays are very satisfying (After I have adjusted the custom rgb color setting to my taste) and the size is well balanced between portable, light and screen that is just big enough. Overall, I am very satisfied with this tablet.

  • A want to buy. Is this tablet very fast and no laggy?

  • I bought mine at first I'm confuse what to buy this tablet or the samsung galaxy tab a but this one has higher specs so def. I chose this :)

  • What version of Android do you guys have on your M3 Lite 8?

  • I bought this tablet and i really like the build quality, performance is okay. I use the tablet for teaching purposes only.

  • Is the ratio on this tablet 4:3 or 16:10? And which ration you guys think is best for reading a book or comics?

  • I bought this yesterday and i amaze BUT the worst feature is that its NOT FAST CHARGING

  • It has long lasting battery and harman kardon speakers and not audio and it lags a lot... It's the worst tab ever..

  • Where to buy in Europe Wi-fi/4G (CPN-AL00)?

  • Apparently not. The closest you can go is one-handed keyboard. Press and hold on the "enter" button to select.

  • If you mean the speaker at the top of the phone used while making voice calls, NO, the m3 lite does not have one. You can only use "loud speaker" mode (where everyone around you can listen to your conversation), plug in an external earphone, or use a Bluetooth earphone.

  • this one has microphone?

  • Where did u get urs?

  • he has 4 speakers. Inbuilt back sider. you can look the Huawei Web side of this tablet.. . or did you mean jack input 3.5mm for headphone?

  • No one-handed mode feature?

  • It's a good affordable pad for students like me, it's easy to be carried around and I can easily read my notes anywhere I want thanks yo its wide screen

  • Where is hearing speaker ?

  • Yes

  • Can make call?

  • Good tablet fast processor Ang good battery....nice one

  • Paper

  • Back of Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite 8 is made of Metal or Plastic ?

  • Why don't you take the train?

  • i bought this tab yesterday it is the best i bought 32gb 3gbram lte version the finger scanner is the fastest of all tab

  • why do you need an radio on your car?

  • Why do you need flashlight on a tablet or on a fone?

  • The best PhoneTablet I ever owned. Sadly there is no accessories yet like tempered glass and case because it is not yet released in the Philippines. So far, the performance is very smooth and very fast. Audio quality is exceptional. Harman Kardon masterpiece. My jbl t110 earbuds is perfect to it. Full volume and I cannot hear any distortion exceptionally beautiful musicality. GPS is very accurate. There are many features that amazes me so much. Camera is above average both rear and front. Battery lasts within the day or longer depends on the settings. Mine lasts 20 hours doing facebook, surfing, playing music, watching youtube etc.. 😀. Less than month of use, I am more than satisfied. Fluid UI I am more contented. There are still a lot features that I have to discover. For a tablet that can act as a normal phone, it is highly recommended. Size is not an issue to me, still compact. There is no radio but I can live without it 😀

  • the spec and body works well for me.. was hoping for a better upgrade to snapdragon 600 or more tho. over al, the built quality looks really good

  • but maybe not so amazing for a 8 inch tablet.

  • Maybe Sammy phones have no bezels but this probably dont have even NO :-) If we see the screen ratio i think mr. Houdini was making this tablet or David Copperfield :-) Also 6 inch phones weights like 180-200 grams but this is 10 inch tablet and weights like 300. Its made from Aluminum foil or what? Or maybe Japanese students trained origami and made functional tablet :-)

  • 112.5% screen-to-body ratio ???? you made it sound like the screen has extended to the back, extending sammy's curved screens way further.

  • 310g for 10 inch tablet is amazing even tab s3 weighs more then 400g . And new ipad is around 475g . I hope the specs are correct

  • Tablet name Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8 then how display 10 inch

  • this one has only 8.4" display

  • WOW :-)

  • They just mixed up the display size that's why the screen to body ratio is like that. The battery size is fine

  • No Flash light?

  • %112.5 display to body ratio!!!!!!? 4800 mAh battery!!!!!? I don't think so
