  • Hi! just got a new one of this and checked as the features say that it has a 3.5mm jack. well, it doesn't but the headset is connected to the phone thru a sort-of-like usb port as the headset has.:)

  • Cool phone but some information here is misleading, the phone has got no 3.5mm JACK. Comes with a headset though but there is none, aside that, don't expect much from a cheap phone.

  • good looking gadet

  • resisitive touch screen sucks !!!!!

  • i cant give the specific technical description on how text messagind works but it's very good! same as the others. yes you can assign pictures or ringtones but be sure to save your contact on the phone memory first. there's a bit difference between a resistive and capacitive touch screens. this is resistive, and still it works fine and works as expected. the best thing for this phone is the crystal talk tech. call quality is crystal clear even you're in the middle of a disco...lolz..

  • yes you can and even for callers in your phone book, also the phone uses crystal talk both 2g and 3g

  • stealthvirgin hows the messasging performance of this?can u assign diff mssg allert to contacts? hows the touch response...planning to get one

  • call quality is great that my N8 and N95 dont have! and other brannd dont have too. loudspeaker in playing music is awesome as well. i just like this phone. thank goodness moto is back in the philippines; now we can use good quality phones.

  • excelent phone, good battery life and even if its brew the qsc 6270(same on samsung galaxy 3 with 600 mhz)does its job excellent, web browsing is instant on 3g+ signal;overall this phone is bang for your buck cons:no wifi but the qsc 6270 supports it

  • Do use in this phone technologie krystal talk?

  • yes

  • Sure, it has.

  • shit ! no wifi !!

  • Can anyone confirm if this has Secondary Video Call camera? I saw one here in the Phil, it does have a front cam but the specs here says otherwise..

  • This one is nice!

  • i love you! moto..:)

  • It has a snap-shot camera. but it's quite good! I wonder if it is really Brew mobile platform based...

  • hi cud any1 tel me if is it available in UK?

  • Each & every phone of MOTOROLA has auto-focus inbuilt in its system (so is this one); you don't need to worry about that. And a piece of advice, it clicks great pics with its 3.15MP camera. If you are looking for the best multimedia experience, go for it.

  • Dear All, can you please clarify if its camera has autofocus? I've been searching the net and found that some specs says it has some says it doesn't. I've found only one useful test (so far), and it says it hasn't got autofocus: (it's in italian, you have to translate it..) Regards, L

  • yes you can use it as a modem. as matter of fact as soon as you plug in the cable in your pc it pops out a two option window. 1) File Transfer(works only if you have a SD card in the phone) 2) Motorola Mobile Connect via the Phone Clicking on the second button will install a dialup application.

  • Dear All currently I am using this phone at Islamabad, Pakistan and there is FM in it... Its camera is also fine and overall a nice set to have

  • Can EX300 be used as modem to connect my notebook computer?

  • I've examined it an hour ago and there's no any 3,5 jack there!

  • touchscreen mobile...oh..but no fm..oh..why ?

  • touchscreen mobile...oh..but no fm..oh..why ?

  • Ex300 has secondary camera for video call in Vietnam

  • can it play U Tube?

  • Battery could have been a little more bigger at >1500mAh

  • Smart phone without proximity sensor is disturbing during night talk and also drain batteries.

  • If you're using this EX300, please express your opinions about its functionality. How good its video streaming, QVGA resolution.

  • very very nice and warm design hop come soon to all world very good price

  • This phone is sold in Viet nam and other country in asia

  • I suppose it still has to satisfy their quality standards, and they have to make sure that it can be serviced, have spare parts available etc. Anyway, this one, strangely, doesn't have an Alcatel counterpart like some of those new low-end phones (you can find the same ones in the Alcatel section). The last news I've heard is that from next year Moto mobile division will separate from the rest of Motorola and just concentrate on a specific niche (Android only) so I wonder if Grasp, Cupe and Rambler are OEM as well, or there will be exceptions. Apparently Motorola China is full of ideas they can't all ignore. Yes, I've been reading too much lately instead of playing with my 4 old Motorolas, haha. Still looking for something to replace the best one I have with but I have specific criteria...

  • Stand behind? Sure...by placing the name on the phone! The Moto brand is still worth (much) more than the company that actually made the phone.

  • Really, really nice but I agree, probably not designed by Moto. But I suppose they stand behind it otherwise it wouldn't have the name.

  • EX300 = ODM Phone, made for Motorola by some asian companies. Motorola just put the logo and some parts, and sell it under his brand. EX300 is runing Brew MP OS made by Qualcomm. Usually, low-end Motorola phones are ODM. Mid and high end devices are integrally designed and made by Motorola.

  • very good moto!!!!!!!!!

  • Can you we get the link or source for your information please?

  • This phone isn't exactly Moto, as it was designed as a low end phone costing around US$150 (not bad for a touch!), the phone is made by someone else with Moto logo on it. The phone has been around for about a month in HK already.

  • Hopefully it will be my 4th motorola cellphone ^^! i'm using a Zn5 currently. That's great!

  • Beautifull UI Moto and look like it have video call and 3G capability Well done

  • Hello Moto
