Motorola MOTO ME525 - User Reviews

  • how to install android in motorola defi m 525

  • my battery last at least 2 days minimum with cm9-android 4.0 properly set. the phome is good, the android 2.1 or 2.2 is bad. please verify ALL the syncronizing settings from ALL your apps including GooglePlay ,Google+, Accounts and set all to MANUAL and you will see the difference... disable all vibrations, animations, use the phone SENZORS omly when you need them and you will have at least 50% more speed and more than 50% of battery.

  • which site is best for updating and upgradig the android system software, please forward all comments and advises to [email protected]. Thank you in advance

  • Good one. How did you get rid of Motoblur?

  • how to install market in motorola defy m525

  • I have Defy MB525 Froyo without motoblur and it has song text in player.

  • possible to update 2.3??

  • Also the ME525 does not have the app links to Facebook and Myspace and the other programs and websights the Great Firewall of China blocks. A way around this is getting the Defy.

  • is there gingerbread for this phone i dont want to buy it if there is no gingerbread...plz reply thanx

  • what a enjoyable phone

  • The defy is faster than the Ace ignore the previous post. And this phone is simply the Chinese model of the defy no differences -__-

  • first time i checked this phone, i found that the cameran and camcorder didn't work.. just black, no buttons appeared etc.. the i posted several questions on local forum regarding this issue. the people there gave me a couple advice, first - factory resetting the phone and second-upgrading it's android to 2.2 froyo. done, i had updated it myself then what i got? nothing' s change. only now if i enters the camera/camcorder apps there are buttons but still neither te camera or camcorder works... overall, despite this problem i have, this phone is quite amazing. good signal, good battery life for a touchscreen one, rugged appearance, nice wifi and it works very well.. only i think the android inside need a lot of improvementa because they hang up sometimes.. hahahaha...

  • this is defy fantastic phone. no difference. can play all the games like asphalt 6, Nova 2, all other games loft games. heavy faaaast performance. thanks Motorola!

  • Defy is Android 2.1, ME525 is Android 2.2(Froyo), i guess will be faster, because I have a Samsung Ace and Defy, Samsung Ace is faster, Defy lack in speed, but it has internal 2G which allows you to install many program as compare to Ace 180MB only. Also Defy has lyric with songs and only MotoBlur has this function.

  • the specs of the defy and the me525 is exactly the same it is the same phone why the arguments??????? I have a defy and my friend has me525 it is exactly the same

  • HAHAHA! Chinese version of the Defy, I have the defy and this is does look like the defy, but the software is a bit different.

  • When I see the Defy do this: then I will say they're the same. The American Defy does not come close.

  • good one but china version

  • This phone indeed is practically same as Defy, only differences are: - it runs on Android 2.2 - it "should not" have the market icon, or access to Facebook. And I do think white is available. And yes, while most American phones prefer to have "names" for each model (Milestone, Desire, Galaxy, Xperia, etc...), Chinese (and perhaps Europeans) seem to like "codes" like XT720, V3, X10, etc...

  • First, I think its DEFY, But Chinese Version
