Motorola RAZR D1 - User Reviews

  • it've been the best phone that i've ever had. it was 2 years old and is allready running. howeber now there are a lot best phones in market.

  • worst phone i ever had. weird display, worst design, slow and the touchscreen stopped properly working after 4 months. i wouldn't recomend this to anyone

  • great phone, excellent cost-benefit, overall performance level far above the models in the same price range of the Samsung Galaxy line devices. Battery lasts for more than 8 hours with moderate use of online services in 3G network and lasts more than 15 hours without intensive use of online services on 2G network. On the Wi-Fi network, the battery lasts one day in moderate use and 1 day and a half in light use.

  • RAZR D1, no doubt !

  • Model 915 includes digital and analog (PAL) TV reception

  • Dear All, Can you please tell me how to run 3g on this phone. Regards.

  • Yes, I have upgraded the phone to 4.4.2. An official firmware from Brazil is available. But this is for dual SIM model only.

  • Moto D1 can be update to 4.4.2 ???? if any one has done it???

  • Razr D1 and Razr D3 have update to kitkat

  • It's a pretty good device, and the seller is the best. Thank you!

  • It's a pretty good device, and the seller is the best. Thank you!

  • I bought it today for R$299 (US$ 134), in Natal (Brazil) as a secound phone. Pretty good device. Gotta put my Nokia 208 Dual Sim aside, now.

  • BR$ 359,00 today. Or +/- US$150

  • No site do Extra (Brazil) is coasting R$ 389,00, divide in 12 times without juros!!! Is very good and cheap!

  • android jelly bean is worthy only with at least 1gb RAM. Cheap samsung phones (other brands too) doesnt have it, so run away from them. Razr D1 is 1gb RAM and 1700 mah battery, among other things... just excellent.

  • is it worth buying? or should i go for samsung phones?

  • Does the led indicator Only Works with White color? I tried by configuring it with whatsapp but Only glows in White :/

  • I have the motorola defy with 1700mah and comes to 4.5 hours with the screen on and continuous use with games, internet, etc.. I'm sure it has better duration than my defy

  • Do any one knows the Sandby and the talk time on the Battery of the Razr D1?

  • What is the stand by and the talk time on the Baterry of the Razr D1?

  • lumia is more faster but d1 is better

  • Which cell phone its better? D1, galaxy fame or lumia 520?? :)

  • Thanks man!!!!

  • PowerVR SGX531 GTA 3 and VC,NFS Most Wanted,Blazing Souls,Wild Blood,Six Guns,Modern Combat 4,Asphalt 8 Airbone...works perfectly! :D

  • I have bought this entry level droid, and im very pleased with its performance. The UI moves really fast, and with only 3,5" display (with poor resolution indeed)a single core and 1gb of ram, it manages to deliver awesome overall performance, including games like Real Football 2013, etc. Besides, the huge battery gives you a day and a half using 3g, playing half an hour of games per day and brightenest to top (less its impossible to ser something under sunlight conditions, even on indoor places)an hour of calling, texting and shooting some pictures. So, overall score, its an 8/10. Plus, you hace TV digital and analog tunner onboard. (yes, the 5mpx camera without flash and 480p video are nothing to write about, but with 1gb of ram, jelly bean stock with no bloatware, a huge battery and this range of Price (u$s 110 with contract for 18 month)its the best option to get. You hace Galaxy fame and LG optimus L5 to look for, but both of them with 512mb of ram, and no guarantee to upgrde to future android versión. Motorola guarantees the update for upcoming android versions. Thanks for Reading my post!.

  • what about GPU?? does it have gpu?

  • It uses the MTK 6575, with PowerSGX 531, pretty popular on chinese entry level smartphones. With 1gb ram it does the simple tasks quite well.

  • Non-Android is not an option. I'd rather get all the apps and Google Now.

  • Lumia 520 is better than both. Try considering this option.

  • Does Somebody know which SoC is inside this phone?

  • razr d1 is better of huwei y300

  • Wich cellphone its better? The motorola razr d1 or huawei y300? I dont care about the 512mb of ram of the huawei

  • Which cell phone its better? The motorola razr d1 or huawei ascend y300?

  • who is best? D1 or Xperia E?

  • I lov it!!!!!

  • d1

  • hi! witch one you choose: raze d1 or nokia lumia 710? tks

  • Hey guys, does it really have a compass/magnetic sensor? The "Sky Map" app needs that and I'm not sure if the specs are correct because on the official product page there's nothing about that. Thanks in advance.

  • Where did you find D1 for R$ 408,00? I found only for some bucks more. Thanks

  • rafaelluik, I´ve been searching for an Android smartphone (my first one) for 1 mouth, D1 and L7 were two of my possible choices, and I bought D1 for R$408,00 yesterday (still waiting for it). If I could get L7 for less than R$500 in a good reputation store, I´d probably still be thinking about it! But the fact is: the lowest price I could get L7 was R$ 480,00, CASH, in a really small store in downtown, Rio de Janeiro (like those stores near Uruguaiana Street, no guarantee at all!). To buy it in a good store, it would cost, at least, R$670. So, the difference would be MUCH MORE than R$40.

  • This smartphone is really good and fast. I paid R$405 for it and it does everything I need extremely fast without hanging or freezing and with a very low battery consumption. I am sure that this smartphone does what 90% of the population needs. To pay R$2000 to use facebook, do some browsing, skype or whatsup is a mere stupidity.By the way it does this things extremely well. I am buying a D3 for my son for R$645 because he wants a bigger screen and a more powerful camera. He is paying the R$200 extra from his allowance. I will post about his D3

  • 1gb of ram

  • how much ram does this phone have?

  • something is missing (3G Network : HSDPA.......?) is that alright? I'm waiting your answer.

  • Hi,the battery really make difference talking time ??,how many hours talk time +/- thanks

  • Hi,the battery really make difference talking time ??,how many hours talk time +/- thanks

  • if i would choose between that 2(l7 and d1), i would choose D1 why?? 1ghz is enough to run 3.5" HvGA rather than 4.0 WVGA 1785 is big for 3.5 Hvga motorola is now owned by Google(more updates i guess) cheaper unique design and nice build quality

  • I'd choose motorola(as I did). I'm not dissapointed with what I have. Everybody is complaining about the cellphones that Motorola did in the past few years, but nowadays things are different. Again, comparing D1 with L7, i'd choose D1.. L7 is a complete fiasco.

  • go for motorola. hardware quality and durability is better.

  • yes i have one and it is fluid a lot. in a week i did not experienced lags or freezes. and the huge battery makes diference!!! oh yeah!

  • I'm talking about cost/benefit. Worthless already outdated resolution phone Motorola D1 R$500 LG Optimus L7 R$540 Which one would you choose? It's only R$40 of difference! And LG build quality is just fine.

  • This comparison is nonsense. L7 was built to be a intermediate cellphone. Razr D1 is built to be an entry smartphone. The L7 has this price because LG wanted to decrease de price to give room for the next L generation, that's obvious. If you want to compare, you have to compare smartphones of the same level(As I said, the D1 rivals are L3 II and Xperia E dual, and they are not better than the motorola D1)

  • Two chips simultaneously. When you decide to dial, it asks whether to use the SIM1 or SIM2. And receive calls from both CHIPS without having to choose. If you want, you can decide which SIM will use 3G connection. Sorry about english.. Google Translator =)

  • Pls can someone tell me if its dual standby or 1 sim goes off for the other to connect

  • This phone is upgradable to Android 4.2 (Motorola Mobility Brazil says it's "upgrade guaranteed" to the most new Android version or Android 4.2).

  • Excuse me but this phone is miles ahead of the LGs entry levels. At least you have build quality here. And I can tell you, the screen is not so bad. Dual sim and mobile TV. The press is praising this two new Razrs because of features, pure android and price. I would rather have a Motorola than an LG.

  • That's why we are talking about entry level smartphones. Try to pick one and use it by yourself. I have one and I can say that the resolution is very good. No other entry smartphone(including its actual rivals, the L3 II and the Xperia E dual) can have good specs as the D1 has. It may have a worse resolution comparing to Xperia(as I think that sony can produce a good resolution smartphone), but the other specs can balance in terms of performance.

  • You know what's a phone with the resolution of a LG Optimus Net in 2013? A worthless phone that's it, no matter the price (which is kind of close to L7)! (I'm no LG fanboy, just practical examples)

  • Well, this is the new motorola entry smartphone. If you expect that it would compete with LG L7, you gotta be kidding. They aren't even at the same level. If you want to compare, compare with a LG L3 or L5.

  • I got one yesterday. I don't know the specs yet, but it's satisfying me. Very fast interface, fluid experience and good for some gaming. Got a PES 2012 and it's running very well.

  • Good joke Motorola! Put 1 GB of RAM in a 3.5 inch poor resolution phone, a waste. It's also more expensive than LG Optimus L7 in open market...

  • Yep, my D1 specs: MTK6575: ARM Cortex-A9 @ 1.0 Ghz and PowerVR SGX531

  • Awesome mid-range specs.. would trade my defy mini (dual sim) for it... Motorola Rocks :)

  • MT6575 (Cortex-A9 (ARMv7) CPU at 1.0 GHz / GPU: PowerVR SGX 531 / 3G,HSPA compatible) Segundo compradores deste smartphone

  • best looking phone in its range!...

  • Poderia especificar o Modelo de CPU, GPU e Processador??

  • Stillwaiton for shippment, I tell you when I have it in hand.

  • i'm brazilian too and i'm interested on this smartphone. can you tell me if it's good? is the JB fluid on it?

  • brazilian market only...

  • Is it goin to be launched in India? 10000 rupees would be an ideal price point and aggressive. Sadly motorola mobility shut down most of is operation in India.

  • Cheap for the brazilian market, I got one already.
