Motorola WX160 - User Reviews

  • my phn has been locked how to unlock it

  • Awesome phone

  • I totally agree with your post. I wondered if I was the only one who'd lost the will to live with "smartphones" - not very smart if the battery doesn't last a day :( I've now binned my HTC and gone for this...Mad, no. The battery lasts ages and I no longer feel afraid to turn the phone on. Signal and call quality are first class too. It's like being back on a retro trip - I for one love it. Guys/Girls wakey wakey - a phone is to talk on and is not a mini computer!!

  • having prob letting me into the add appointments, i can view or jump to date but cannot add appointments. can you help me anyone thanks.

  • Got this phone because I am absolutely pig sick of smart phones, got fed up of the poor battery life and all these features packed onto them that I do not use or want. So I went online and come across this handset something about it drew me to it that being the design and the £12 price tag, looked at the spec of the handset the size dimensions were perfect. It has no browser, bluetooth or camera but I never used those features anyway so perfect. I don't use radio but I did try this and worked great, so for my primary use of calls and text this fits the bill. Battery back up is fantastic I have got a week and a half out of this set with usual everyday calls and texts, which takes the pee out of these smart phones where you are lucky to get a day out of them. My previous handset was a Iphone 4 I turned to this and have not regretted it one iota.

  • A great little phone. Very (and I mean very) basic, easy to use, simple and handy. I bought mine for 25 euro when my mobile broke and I needed a new one quick.

  • I brought moto wx160 phone 1year ago.it,s display so small than other phones.i drop that phone 10more times but it's working.but when i use radio i want to rename that channel then suddenly phone off.its the only problem i face, anyway this is a good for money,i recommend 90% buy this phone, its cheap

  • Engage auto power off by using the settings option. I choose after 30 seconds.

  • Can anyone tell me how to delete a name/number from the directory or how to edit an entry?

  • does this phone have lock application feature, can you lock messages or applications on this phone?

  • Just treated my self to one of these babies. Can't wait to discover all of its features!!! ;P

  • I like it, I like the feel and the price. The battery lasts a long time the phone is very light and easy to use. I like motorola phones over nokia as i find the battery life is longer. what i do find slightly anoying is sometimes the phone feels a little ackward in my hands and a bit fiddley I need to change hands or use both hands to reach a button

  • This phone does not have auto power on off.Only W156 does so.

  • uppss the phone is really nice

  • i have one i can for 2 days with low battery

  • Hey,anyone who using this handset please tell me that does this phone have the self auto turn off and turn on feature like other motorola handset... also does the vibration and ring tone are working at the same time or not? please reply!

  • i purchesed phone 2 month ago ,nice result,

  • Hey got my Motorola wx160 today. My baby gifted it. She got an offer for it and she paid rs999 for it. Love the phone for its simple-ness, smooth UI and for the brand names. Love both Motorola & Alcatel phones. Old school phones makers. PEACE.

  • it is yet to be launched so how did you purchased mr. hassan

  • Well batterry was good when I purchased it. But after use of 03 months talk time reduces to 02 hrs max.

  • itzz a wonderful basic 4n coz it just hav evry thing u need for a handy MOBILE PHONE...!!!!

  • the phone book number only can put 100 number ?

  • The instructions are rubbish, this is the first motorola phone I bought and can't get predictive text on. Does anyone have instruction on how to use predictive text? TIA Alan

  • hi, just interested in the battery life. how long until it needs to be recharged after little or no use and how long does it take to charge. thank you. rick.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....guys its its best phone. i bought it and m very happy with it.

  • it is a very good mobile phone, I purchased it and happy

  • I was just going to say that. Looks totally good for a cheap phone. Sleek and serious, not like a toy.

  • Reasonable price with additional FM radio and hand-free too. Great value.

  • good

  • its slim and nice but the features are so bare...i think Motorola is targeting at no-frill market.

  • nice design...sleek,slim,ouval..

  • marketing strategies yah know. for me moto is one of the best when it comes to innovation. they are producing low end fones for those who can't afford. everyone has all the rights to use a moto fone anyways...

  • I bought it for 3,490 Philppine peso. (ALCATEL OT-i650) Its battery indicator has 3 bars. The phone lost one bar after 2 days of heavy texting. No calls. The phone lost one bar after 3 days if i turn the antenna off mode. Heavy txting no calls.

  • Hmmm, this or the DROID. Decisions, decisions!

  • I agree it looks like one of alcatel phone. Im a die hard alcatel user. It looks like this My phone?? ..

  • Why the hell are gsmarena posting these aweful phones up here when moto have officailly announced the DROID??? Get with the times GSM.

  • motorola alws produced disgstng model.......n software should b more dvloped.

  • @chaser_xsnes9x: These are not manufactured by Motroola, they are Alcatel phones with Moto branding. Motorola no longer makes their low end phones. Where did you find this information?

  • Because motorola want to touch those who are in developing country and for those who just need basic function of mobilephone: communication in light design (mobile) with good battery performance. I think i need this phone.

  • These are not manufactured by Motroola, they are Alcatel phones with Moto branding. Motorola no longer makes their low end phones.

  • Why moto is going for Lower end phones. Is it due to lack of innovation?

  • Why motorola is going for lower end phones..is it due to lack of innovation in Moto
