Nokia 5210 - User Reviews

  • I will add pne today, but it is for parts.

  • It's really rare to even find one broken!

  • will buy one this weekend. ^___^ toughest nokia phone i've used...

  • this is the phone that im using when I was in high school texting my first love :)

  • the strength is over 9000

  • my favorite phone........i love this phone

  • how much damage are we talkin about here?

  • good service this phone

  • I love this phone. yee?

  • The most toughest (old) mobile phone. Nokia 5210 is now becoming rare. The 5210e (made in Gemany) with the arabic fix is even more rare. No camera, no GPS, no bluetooth, and no 3G data makes this mobile phone unhackable! no precise location can be detected only by the nearest transponder where it has been connected last. I can imagine in the future that celebrities and high officials will be wanting to use these mobile phones for sinful acts lol. I so want one of these :-(

  • Solid cell phone, survives a drop on almost any surface, has no issues with a bit of moisture, heat or dust and you can still get original NOKIA batteries, cases and other parts for it. Having only GSM cell bands is not such a big disadvantage for voice calls and texts messages (SMS). I got mine new for free when I extended my cell plan in 2004 and I am glad that I kept it, because I am back to using it again now. :-)

  • Still use as my primary mobile phone.

  • Still using the first one I bought , and I'm sure it was before 2002. WTF can't phone manufacturers make super durable rugged voice/text ONLY (with camera) and long long battery life that does nothing else but performs those functions flawlessly under extreme conditions ??

  • Looks very good. If only screen had more ppi I would consider buying it for my uncle...

  • this was my first ever handy phone, until now its working, i got this model year 2006 when i was in first yr high school, this phone is very durable, two thumbs up for this phone Good job NOKIA! =)

  • Anyone remember them being scented?? The covers smelled sooooo good! As well as the strapn that came with it!

  • i love it

  • It is a great little phone. I put a brand new genuine cover on my 5210, it's blue now and looks cool. The orange backlight was very sweet that time. Siemens used to have orange displays and Nokia had green displays mostly. And the coolest feature was the thermometer.

  • This was like the terminator.. Best way to describe it. Inside it had a naked plastic frame with buttons and seethrough plastic where you could see the PCB and chips. like a ribbed phone without chassis. The waterproof shell was splitt in the middle. a bottom and a top that snapped together. Hard to separate coz you had to press the sides a pull which required muscle fingers. Them fingers was also needed when typing on it. A nightmare in its own right. Hard rubber buttons.. A nightmare to use.

  • Got mine working today after 10 yrs...nokia makes some gud stuff!

  • This was the best simple phone NOKIA has ever made. I hope Nokia can re manufacture this it with the new specifics. It will be a hit

  • my first handphone....very nice...the keypad is so hard i think, the orange light was so bright, i use this phone over 4 year and it's never had a trouble...now i still have this phone on boxes with all original part of package...realy miss this phone *thumbup*

  • nice

  • Best phone ever seen..

  • One of the most memorable phone I've ever had. Through difficult times, heartaches, romances, happiness and sadness, this phone had been with me until one day it was stolen from me. I still remember the ringtone when a call from someone I've been waiting for calls me. Good times..

  • mine too.

  • Jest found one in my drawer. It's Alive!

  • my first phone ever

  • Though still i didn't use this phone but i wanna get this phone. If it is possible.

  • Best Phone, Evar!

  • Nice

  • Hi to get more ringtones I.e the keypress tones just go onto the search engine on the net & Google Nokia keypress tones & your come across a few sites I did this for my old nokias & just recently for my Nokia 101

  • if anyone still has a phone like this pls help. im desperately looking for a list of the ringtones on the phone

  • I've had 2 of these. I only had to replace the first one because I spilt milk over it. The second one has been dropped down 5 flights of concrete steps (at the same time)and still works after 10 years although the keypad is now missing. I only keep it now for sentimental reasons (texts from my late sister on it) All in all a reliable and almost indestructable phone.

  • I must say wow! I'm still using it until today after i posted my comment a year ago. The only difference is that my rubber casing is now totally shredded and only the plastic casing is left, but still, it works brilliantly! Phone battery is now showing its age (6yrs to date) but still suffice to reach 2 to 3 days of stand-by time. Brilliant phone indeed! Nothing short of being a legend!

  • is there still available housing for this unit,i still have one and it is still working, its just that the housing was wrecked

  • this is my first phone. that's all

  • we have one... more than 10 years alive..

  • Hey guys, can some one source me aorignal outer cover for this phone, i have one of this which i have maintained very carefully, not even opened once, its almost new. just the rubber of the out cover has dried and its shredding into power.

  • this phone is amazing

  • hello!

  • so do i

  • I have this phone and it works just fine :)

  • repair This Hand Set. i Miss my Phone.

  • I really love this phone. It is really durable. I dropped it many times forgetting it's in my lap,but still works. As far as I can remember I was using this phone before and 2 of my classmates are flooding my inbox with text messages. Luckily deleting of message with this phone is very fast. Though it doesn't have mark all then delete it's just few clicks and no delete loading unlike on today's smartphones -- deleting a message would take seconds and have to load inbox then. Very slow. Want to have it again. It is a very reliable phone.

  • this hand set sucks man backlight not gud fr eye sight not a gud choice at alllll..........

  • Awesome phone! I bought mine in 2008 and although its a re-conditioned phone its still amazing! So i bought another one. Can't get enough of it though but i stopped using it mid-year in 2010 to give way to my 6630. As the workload of my 6630 got heavier like calls, sms, and mostly internet apps, i decided to use it again but unfortunately some of the rubber boby works disintegrated and the volume keys got stuck on its own which meant that it was always engaged. I got so frustrated that i decided to detach the volume keys by actually destroying it - which i did, but after that the phone is still in its tip top condition! After years of hard use its still alive and im still using it until today.. Great phone!

  • This is the bloodline every Finnish phone should have followed. Terminator T-X's nemesis. Programming still functioning very well, even though after 9 years the cover is has finally started to disintegrate. Great memories.

  • i remember the old times. my cousin throw this unit 10x on the wall checking if it's durable. coz it has a rubberized housing. can't stop laughing that time :))

  • nice phone! i rem the old days. i got this phone from my dad before and this is the best phone available that time. :)

  • This piece of work tooked more punishment than a sane person would ever put it trough. I never managed to broke it but as years have gone by I've lost it.

  • anyone willing to sell this phone. ll be happy, if it is fresh (not used). contact debugvincent at gmail dot c o m

  • I have a 5110 new handset to sell, can send anywhere in the world via paypal, are you interested ?

  • hi i need to many like 2o bx of this phone ,if any body have ,send me a info.

  • when im looking to this phone i remember the best days on my life personal memory's in that days phone was just phone call end call send sms and thats it

  • Big Love for the legendary 5210. Stupidly forgot where I'd put it, slid off the boot of my car @ ~65kph, ended up in a couple pieces against the kerb. Lay there in light rain for a couple hours 'till I realised what I'd done and finally tracked it down again. Wiped it off, put it back together and turned it on - the poor thing fired up perfectly and worked for about a minute but then died for good. I suspect that if I'd been less hasty and let it dry off completely before switching it back on it would have survived. They don't make 'em like they used to!

  • Big

  • That is no excuse

  • Please mhone battery is always running down in less than 17 hours. And i is somehow misbihaving. Can you kindly post me another phone; my adress is No. 4 survayor's street, NNDC qtrs, Sharada, Kano, Nigeria. Thanx 4 ur concern.

  • Mine is still kickin'. bought this 8 years ago.

  • the reason why your phone isnt working is because its like 10 years old!

  • i like it

  • My 5210 is still working today. Still using it.

  • OMG this phoen is so old like my grany =]

  • A seller must be ready when the buyer is, lest an opportunity be irretrievably lost. Customers buy when they want an offering and have the time and money to purchase it. Buying patterns can often be discerned from an analysis of customers and their purchases. For example, wants for many consumer goods and services are tied to customers' rites of passage. The following purchase occasions in the adult life cycle are typical: Marriage, separation, divorce Acquisition of a home ® Change in employment or career Graduate study Health care, injury, illness Pregnancy, nurture of children Children enter school; graduate Children leave home (for college or permanently) Move to another area Vacations; major social activities Permanent retirement from work Death of a family member

  • Its true..

  • One of the best phones ever!!!!

  • my friend sagie has this phone and its great

  • OMG.. wasn't this the phone like the Kinder eggs. You could crack the shell in two and yank out its "intrails"?

  • The Best Phone I Ever Use!!!!Even i have use so many phones I still love this Phone...

  • Great phone...It does have GPRSS by the way

  • thats amazing , thats which make me loyal to nokia future features , highiest durability ever known !!

  • Are you guy still using this phone ? Poor gay.... Btw this is my first beautiful phone....

  • Dropped this phone in streams/rivers four times, each time I took it apart and dried it over a stove/radiator/Trangier and it worked perfectly. Five years solid use out of it. Utterly bomb-proof. Easily affordable, and with a quality of design and engineering which can't be found now, or not for student money at any rate. If they'd kept upgrading it to take more messages and contacts...etc, I'd never need another phone.

  • long live this phone, i survived for 5 years with this phone, it started off with the case, then the case came off, and right after that so did the number pad, lol. it was until the screen got cracked that i had to move on ... hats off to nokia :)

  • Well, I'm going back to the basics... Had this some years back and I just pulled it out again. The only problem is I will need a new battery of course (ebay) and the case has gotten old and the plastic in some places a little brittle (ebay again). After that, the only real issue is when I access the SIM phonebook and go backwards (move the up/down button up), it only goes from Z to X and arround in circles, the same names. Not that big a deal, and it might actually be the SIM's fault.

  • waahh. this phone is ssooo tough and firm.. i used my 5210 for more than 5 years until now. Only the battery and casing that i changed and this never open for service. Love it.

  • ang tibay nang celphone na to!lumagoy na nga sa dagat buhay parin.......etsussssssssss..

  • This is a good phone with a long battery life - I only needed to charge the phone once a week but the phone overheated when I spoke on it for more than 5 minutes.

  • this was my very first fon wen im at 3rd yr college,i lyk it so much coz it's unique & rugged so it's jst ryt for me coz im a bit clamsy most of the tym & at the same tym it's the latest fon frm nokia,so i feel sikat....;->

  • Should I go for this one or the 8210? I'm sick of these new fangled phones...I'm keeping it real and going old school...aiii

  • I have this phone before. It got damaged when I went mountain-climbing. Maybe because of the extereme cold weather on top.

  • great phone. cand dropped from a high rise building

  • I have two 5210. I'm looking for shells - any colour as long as they're OK. You wouldn't happen to have one (or more) of these shells that you're willing to sell?

  • I had it for 4 years. It is working so good, but it does not have new features; I am going to buy a more recent phone.

  • when one of mi friend bought one i told him to throw it in the air ....it fell with the display on a tiny rock lolllllllllll the phone was brand new about 250 $

  • it good but it's really good when you really forget that your phone is in your pocket then u dive in the pool but it's water ressistance but still works under water

  • this phone is blumming insane i love it wikid to take out with ya on the night on the sauce so you dont break your nice phone cheap insurance if you ask me

  • All my mates had this phone back in 2002 i had a 3330 all my mates usd to do was Open it up and Store Money in it! LOL sounds crazy but thats what they did...... Legend of a phone though..i wanted it back in the day.

  • quote: "i smashed this phone up, i was only drunk and fell on it NOT indestructable " unquote Yes once I tied up a dinamite to it , and it got destructed. I am not satisfied.

  • had this phone. it got stolen. bluddy suckers. but i really loved it.

  • Its one of the best phone i have! Eventhough now i use SE K800i, Razr V3i and the Nokia N90, this phone has the best talk time! I use it still frequently for my long calls, and the design, what i used to call 'the coffin' is still the best orange thing out there!! lol

  • i smashed this phone up, i was only drunk and fell on it NOT indestructable

  • dumb phone for the moment but probably the most beautiful one in the world....super

  • heya ppl good to see fans ...... me almost using this fone since its launch its rock solid.... sent an sms from underwater in swimming pool....played basketball catches and wat not wid this in college. i love this damn phone..i wana buy more of this if available ...

  • i had my pink one for 4 years and it was fabulus. i bought it when it was green but i changed the cover about 2000 times. the ones i remember were red, green, blue, orange, purple a butterfly one which was my fav but it was destroyed in a car crash! it is the best phone ever!

  • I have this fone. A friend gave it to me a few months ago. I know it's old and all, but you just can't do anything to break it...... Besides orange juice i hear!!! Love is in the air:)

  • This phone is great!Been using it for 3 yrs. now and still fine.I even found a bug in the game bumper and my score now is maximum.Oh yeah,I dropped it a couple of hundred times now and still doing it,but it's still working fine...This really is great. And I almost forgot, this phone swims.

  • hi guys.... gud 2 knw 5210 has such loyal fans... i am definetly in luv with this phone... been using it for 6 yrs and its like 2nd skin to me... though it has started to give sum probs i really don't wanna replace it... after all i don't think any other phone wil survive being dropped frm 3 storeys....lol

  • it always crashed when i had to send a long sms, the buttons were too close together and the battery life was lousy compared to the 6310 which replaced it. Reception wasnt great either. But i admit that i dropped it MANY a time and a few times in the swimming pool - nothing happened to it. Still worked underwater.

  • 5210 is Great. I bought a second hand 5210 3 years ago and it's still looking fine. Just the look. I threw it about 20 feet in the air and it's CPU is dead. Guess it's not strong enough.

  • I LOVE it it does everything that mobile phone should and its allmost impossible to break. Only problem is the microphone, that I'v had to change for 2 times. But im still using it. Ofcourse best thing is that its from my home country Finland (atleast nokia is from Finland notsure where my phone was made (probably in china :/ ))

  • I had this phone for 4 years! impossible to break it: droped it into the water, sand, droped fom 3 meters high...so resistant! ok the performance are not the best, especially at the end...But it was designed to be unbreakable, not to be a fashion andd high performance phone...

  • bought one of these when they first came out. i still have it. it has never gone wrong. it's had a hard life; been dropped, trod on, soaked and got covered in mud many times. replaced the cover easily when screen got to scratched to read. one day it'll need replacing - there will be nothing to compare...

  • Completely bad performance phone ! Dunno why Nokia had produced such type of phones !!

  • I've just buy a new Cellphone, it's call 5210. Oh! i never believe one mobile: Beautiful, Stylish, Strong and Manly... OH I love Nokia 5210 and maybe in Future i"ll be buy a 5140i. I like Nokia Sport 5 series (not 5300 and 5200 and 5700) Bravo

  • i think this phone one of the best phone built by nokia, the quality is great, good for people that drops there phone everytime. it just wont break, my god.

  • Gr8 phone I have ever had. First I had Nokia 3210, later I changed to Motorola E1000 but over a year only, I lost 400us. At last I found out Nokia 5210. Good. Great. Battery last 4 4 days more. I do not like the mono ring tones. I have a question. Nothing in phone outbox after I sent messages.

  • They don't make them like this anymore. I have owned a 5210 for 5 years and it still works the same as the day I first used it. My N73 lasted only 7 months, 5210 5 years and still going with same battery but new case. This phone is simple, reliable and effective, it does what you need a phone to do.

  • i had this fone for 2 yrs and never changed it even when my dad gave me a K700i. but then i accidentally lost it in the camping trip. i cried when i couldnt find it anymore... love this fone so much.....

  • Nokia lost a lot of money in this one.. coz the phone just dont break. LOL. thats the reason why we wont be seing these types of phone very soon. if another type of phone like this one will ever come out that would be very expensive.

  • This was my first phone. after 1,5 year i didnt like it anymore. I've tried to smash it but it didnt work. I've tried it even with putting it under the car of my dad and even then it didnt broke. So better dont buy this phone if you're a hypocrit.. (finally it worked destroying it with orange juice)

  • its a gr8 phone .no problems since 5 yrs .its fallen a thousand but still going strog i advice u 2 buy this phone at any cost.

  • sound quality is not good

  • This phone of mine has been dropped, run over, stood on and got wet more times than I can remember. I use it on site every day and have done for four years. If Nokia bring out another phone as tough as this one, I'd buy it.

  • very, very good phone-no problems in 4 years, forgot phone in my pocket, had it washed ,rinsed and spinned for 45 minutes in the washing machine---still going strong-

  • Very strong mobile i have 2 of them..can anybody answer to my question, what number is the latest software upgrade for 5210?

  • guys ive used around 15 phones till now so i want to tell u abt this phone. it has only one plus point that is it is shock absorbant thats it and other than this there is nothing useful in it.thanx. sam, from india

  • 5 years and its still running perfectly (aside the battery usage its getting weaker)its understructible comparing with most of the phones and i love it for that

  • i have a nokia 5210. and its giving me a headache. i cant activate the 'Alert for all calls' function, and when my phone rings it only vibrates. ive ask around and some experienced people told me its a software problem. can u help me out plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • is it true this phone is water proof?

  • I own a NOKIA 5210 Handset and think it's a fantastic little Phone. If anyone would like to know more about it, feel free to E-Mail me : [email protected]

  • If anyone wants to contact me re the NOKIA 5210, please feel free. My Comments are given below, but I forgot to enter my E-Mail Address.

  • A great little Phone, easy to use, can be dismantled without fuss, LCD Screens easy to get (Non genuine can be good substitutes if you get the right ones) When new, the 5210's had Software problems, however a Trip to NOKIA solved the problem.

  • i just found 1 2nd hand in the middle of turkey and traded my v3i for it but i still have a imate jasjar. is it waterproof? please email me and answer thanks! and is this fone good 4 me i am a bouncer/lifeguard?

  • i have this phone from last 4years this phone is like my friend i meet with an bike accident and this phone saved me i was sliding on the phone the whole body of the phone was damaged but still it was on and i was saved i love this phone more than my girlfriend i will not sell my phone in any condition i love him very much

  • a good phone in the way of meaning remains a good phone...and the N 5210 it's part of that. ! great one

  • can any1 tell me about the upgrades for this mobile? email me! [email protected]

  • I've had this phone for more than 4 years, and I'm living fine with it. I'm very attached to it, and I refuse to buy a new one even though I can afford the most expensive phone in the market. Although it's a great phone in general, it has its problems. First, and most importantly, is the call quality. All the other phones I've tried have better sound quality (That includes: Erissson T39, Sony Ericsson T68i, Siemens S55, and Siemens SX1). But I've lived with this phone for 4 years, so I guess it's not THAT bad. Secondly, it lacks a built-in SMS memory, so you have to rely on the SIM card for storing messages (though it includes memory for the phonebook). Also related to messaging is typing long messages. If you type short messages (less than, say 150 characters), then it's fine. But if you type long messages, it tends to become unresponsive and becomes very slow. Now lastly, something that made me consider the thought of buying a new cellphone is the battery life, and especially now. Originally the battery wasn't that great. But now, after the battery got old, it barely lasts for the day. Buying a new battery costs almost as much as getting a new basic cellphone (Such as the Nokia 1110, which I have seriously considered, but I couldn't let my 5210 go :-). Another minor problem is that It's only dual-band.

  • this is a really good phone i keep gettin new phones but always end up goin back 2 this one. only one problem my battery doesnt last as lon as it use 2

  • hello, I don't have this phone but absolutely adore the covers for it.. I wish Nokia would update this very same phone structure but with the latest features in most nokia phones today but with a bigger screen. I 'd be the first to buy it ! Is this , by the way, same design as the new sports nokia out?

  • i actually tryed to destroy my 5210 by throwing it towards a wall and it didn't happen.i think thah it is a great phone and hope for a new generation of it with a few improfements that will allow it to fit in the modern technologies

  • i had this phone for almost 3mos now... all i cn say is that ds phone is super compact!!! you wonnt have any regrets when u buy this phone... the thermometer works so much for me... i can use the stopwatch and countdown timer for my training and so much more... the best feature in this phone: IT'S SHOCKPROOF!!! very nice... i recommend you to go out and buy a nokia 5210!!!!!

  • Have had this phone since May 2002 and it still working good. Only issues are the covers are not very durable...the screen on the original cover cracks easily. Original covers are expensive to replace. Imitation covers are very poor quality (poor fitting/keypad paint comes off easily). On the 3rd year found the phone will sometimes turn off itself due to lose battery connection. Probably because it got dropped so many times. Fixed this by wedging a bit of paper in between the battery and the outer cover. Overall a very good quality phone.

  • This is a 100% phone, nothing more. i really love it though now i owe a SE K750i. i miss my old Nk 5210. it was really a great phone

  • i love the 5210, i had it about 3 years ago and it was the best phone i ever had. I really miss it. Those old nokia's like 5210, 8810, 3310 are the really decent phones. They did the job of calling and did it well.

  • not a bad phone but despite it's rugged look it couldn't handle so many things... it was quite sensible ti shocks! and the battery was a failiure... the rest was ok!

  • My 2nd phone after the N3310.. it was the coolest phone in the market, and turn heads too... but now, the clam shell starts to peel of, the the side buttons and the shell release buttons are gone..but, overall, it was a good phone, nice design (urban style and rugged, and tough too... thnx nok.

  • I have been handling this phone for about three years and i have not come accross any problem in this phone. I think that it is just the phone that atheletes like me might want. The only problem is with the red coloured X-pres on shells. Their red colour fades away. Rest all is nice and well Other colours like Wave blue(the one i am using) retains its colour. If you are thinking that this phone is outdated then let me tell you only three upper models of this phone have come(5100, 5140, 5140i) which are better than this durable phone. 5210 is another name for durability.

  • this phone was handy! nice little phone good case for all th nocks and drops! still got it now but dont use it no more

  • This is the fone for playaz, locking the keypad is the thing. And you can kick it, toss it and throw it around. Nokia props for you guys. Had given to my galfriend but had to get it back and gave her a 3120 instead.

  • Can anyone pls kindly advice me if i could still get a 1st/2nd hand phone(if really stop production)of this model in the market? My bf has been so clumsy that he keeps dropping his hpS!! All are spoilt after the drop.. except this phone, i rem that it's the best phone cauze it's SOoooo shockproof for my clumsy bf. Haha.. Needed the phone urgently.. Thanks alot!

  • I have found sometimes when accessing the Video recorder the 256k screen starts to pixelate, i use a 1GB memory card and the video doesn't seem to go for very long, this is no good because i coat my balls in peanut butter and get FIDO to lick it off. Its not cheating.....

  • When I had the 5210 it was the happiest time of my life. Unfortunatly my boyfriend ran over it with his monster truck and it didnt survive. I tried to resucitate it but it was to late. I love how much memory it had. I bought a 128MB memory card to put in it and I had hundreds of photos saved in it. The camera quality was brilliant. It was a 7.5 Mega pixel camera. The best quality ever. The detail was great. The bluetooth headset that came with it was awesome. The highest of quality. It was valued at $399 on its own and I got it for free. I loved how it was water proof. I went swimming with it hundreds of times and it worked fine. My boyfriend took it to his work occasionally and he is a carpenter and he gets dust everywhere and it still worked fine. I miss this phone greatly. I got it at a bargain price for only $99. I wish I had another one to replace it with.

  • it's a nice phone.i have it for 2 years.and it's still functioning well.even if i have a new phone,i still use it.

  • ive used this phone from december 2002 to date and i have never been let down.its simply excellent and i am in love with it.

  • I've been using this model for 2 years now. It's a good phone cauze it's shockproof for the clumsy me. The only problemS in this phone is that the housing of the phone fades...it lasted me for 6 months, then I have to change to a new one. The other problem is, the keypads are kinda small, my thumb tires easily whenever I txt a VERY LOOOOOOOOOOONG message.

  • used it for 3 years and now its dead can somebody tell me will it be repaired or not

  • i have this phone just about two years...it's very good.........

  • this phone is very cool .it can be used any way i.e we can use this phone roughly it doesnt break i have this phone from last 3 years!!!!!

  • i used this mobile for 9 months, it's very good, i regret selling it... what came after are just trash.. 5100 and 5140 were complete failure, actually they were both withdrawn from the market due to some software troubles....(i am talking about Jordan)

  • Hallo my naam is Christene. Baie, baie dankie dat julle NOKIA dit vir my moontlik gemaak het om op die lug te wees. Ek vind genot uit my foon. Ek hou van die liggie en sy sagte skokweerstand teen stof. My foon pas so na my hand, die omhulsel is hardwekkende kleur, wat my en my vriende se o betower. Baie dankie NOKIA.

  • You can never go wrong by buying this phone. Its a real masterpiece and also very rugged

  • this fone's cute, much better than 8250. i'd like to buy one of this.:) my girlfriend loves this fone too. her name's tiffany dawn, and i love her so much.

  • well, I think nokia 5210 has it all! wap, voice dialing, calculator, 5 games, orange LCD, and for me the most highlighted feature of this phone is the thermometer.... :) I hope I can measure my body temperature with it!

  • The screen got broken in a couple of months. The thermometer feature is very nice

  • this is certainly one of the best phones tht Nokia has produced so far. it may not have colour screen and MMS but the looks and performance it gives the me or for tht matter neone owning this phone is really amazing and out of the world. sturdy, strong and sporty its ideal for us youngsters. and more so extremely light and small. gr8 clarity and ring volume. games are also timepass. WAP and other features also stand out.what more can one ask for frm his phone? thumbs up Nokia. lets hope the 5100 is able to match the standards set by 5210 and 5110.

  • I would like to know som information abaout the option of nokia 5210

  • it is not easy to buy ur product from ur office down to nigeria via the net through my credit card

  • I own a 5210. It is by far the best phone I have used, splash proof and dust prrof is an added advantage. It is really cool.

  • ok phone looks good but i think it is a bit slow when you are trying to get into your messages

  • i need a mobile like 5210 ok

  • This is a real builders phone. Rubbery and horrid.

  • i have had 23 fones in the past 4 years and this is by fair the best. it is extremely reliable and i am able to take it in the bath or shower with me. its great!

  • it is good but it's a little bit hard to change simcard

  • This phone does the basics extremely well. Small light and hardwearing, one of the best phones you can get. Forget all this MMS Java Colour screen bollocks I want a small light tough phone that makes and receives calls and is reliable. Only the ME45 or 5100 beats it.

  • This is the one of the most attractive Nokia phone I've ever know. I love this phone!

  • many ppl complains about it's soft ringing volume. it can't be help cos the "hole" where the buzzer is place was covered with some material to protect water from entering it

  • a great outdoor sport phone. great for sportmen. No worry when using the phone under heavy rain when u are drenched

  • u idiots, u expect a outdoor phone tat is protected from water splashes and dirt to be small huh. u try to put the 6100 under running water and see wat will happen to it.

  • good phone best buy

  • I love mine. I use all the features except the thermometer which takes ages to read. The rubbery type casing is great cus i have a tendency to drop my phones. I love the digital clock screensaver with date which means i don't have to wear a watch anymore. Had one problem with the games locking up but it was just a software problem and fixed easily. A great phone!

  • gr8

  • It's a huge piece of shit.

  • It is peace of shit ( BIG )

  • its best

  • The original colour of the housing is not pleasing to the eye. After changing it I find that it looks better. Its' features are similar to the Nokia 8250 which I lost. I liked the thermometer, calender reminder function and the morning wake-up alarm. They are helpful during my trips overseas.

  • This is great phone.

  • This is a wonderfull phone!!!

  • a feature phone,i like it,but the thermometer doesn t work very well, because,i heard it is the first generation to this feauture, and it isn t professional, but i don t mind, because it shows an aprox temperature.for me it is the best.i know that in tthe Connect test it receive an satisfactory note, but i buy it because i love adventure in the Connect test: AUtonomie:81(100max) signal:68(150 max)

  • here is your info

  • i want to buy one

  • Great Phone!

  • i think this phone is rather heavy, ive used it b 4. besides its improved durability, u guys think theres anything more to tat? smilez =)

  • It is possible to edit it via IR also and it is very easy and sipmle, you can also ignore disabeling group graphics if you wnat, have a nice time b

  • Nokia 5210 is great. However, I hate the on/off button as it's very hard to press. Otherwise, it's ok. By the way, someone stated than version 5.13 has bugs but for me i don't think so. However, if this phone has an intergrated radio, it would be quite a high value-added product.

  • why should I" also disable group graphics ". is it possible to edit calendar with pc via ir

  • hi this is a tip for kaupz you have only to use LOGOMANGER and open phone explorer and choose caller groups, go to each caller group, change the ringtone of each and save and also disable group graphics and save after finishing, everything will be in order and you won't have to change the software or anything, best regards

  • has anyone else software problems, like if I go names-caller groups-vip-select it gives me menu 11-2-1 to choos a language. the only thing that helps is restart

  • these phones are ok but could do with more on they are almost just the same as a 3330

  • this phone vol is veri low. its level5 is = 2 level3 of 3310. n the vibration is veri weak

  • i own one.

  • it's absolutely wonderful.i love it,if not 4 anything,4 being light and being a nokia.i own one.

  • Cool and fresh...water resist...full colour to expresion your mind

  • You got to be realistic: for this amount you can buy youself the S45. There isn't any comparation to the austanding S45!

  • ı use a 5210 sınce 7 months and ıts the fırst tıme. except the fact that the phone do not launch everytıme the operator sıgnal(ı hurt by many nokıa users that they got the same problem!!!!), ı can say that ıs usable but ıt was expensıve when ı buy ıt!

  • it it the best

  • i want logo as well as posible u will send me a logo or ring tones

  • One hellouva mobile to have !!!!!

  • I enjoyed to pick Nokia 5210, for my activity. Simple but complete, little but good. My friend give me Nokia 5210, because I can't buy it.

  • HI All I love this phone It's gr8 but the on/off button is hard to use. but apart from this I love it. hope U all agree.

  • The ultimate nokia phone its the best with all the functions as well as durability!!!!!! a great upgrade from the 8250/8210 models

  • It's Really fantastic phone

  • best phone by nokia

  • Nokia 5210 aku lihat memang bagus, tapi sayangnya suara Hp ini terlalu kecil. apalagi bila ada di keramaian, suara panggilan dari luar payah untuk di dengar.

  • I change phones often this 5210 seem to stick to me for a while it is nice to have a nokia which drops and come back fine picture editor is nice digital clock screen saver is useful, infra port works nice with my palm. The bad things are phone book memory one name one number no three numbers per name, ring tones are weak even on vol 5, no place to store extra messages, mo fm radio remember no ideal phone to date if nokia did it no one will ever change phones cheer up

  • I had 8210, drop all the time, 5210 is the ideal.

  • This phone is hectic!

  • It sucks. I have got it for about a month. The shell tends to crack easily and it scratches easily (rugged !? and Nokia diesn't warranty this!). Battery life isn't very good (compared to same battery in 6510) You can only put 1 phonenumber with a name so you you have to use three slots for one person with a suffix like mobile, home or work BUT it doesn't accept many letters per name so you need to abbreviate a lot. Thermometer feature is a joke. Random digits would have been just as accurate. The screensaver tends to "burn" itself into the display. I know have a shady heartbeat on my display even when it's switched off. It also tends to switch off for no reason at all. Infra-red has a 50/50 chance of working.

  • love the phone, very light, with the 'ruggedisation' being quite a plus, as there are not many 'sporty' phones around in new zealand.. have had software problems, with the menus being a bit sluggish. mines voice quality has been fine..

  • great phone tome, ilike this perfomance that close my activity allday.

  • I have Nokia 5210 and wanna change it for Motorola V66.Should I do that???I mean Nokia 5210 is great but is Motorola V66 better and does it has better functions, from Nokia 5210???

  • hi ramzi . how are you ? are you fin ? ok now bye .

  • pesen 1

  • Nokia 5210 is a great mobile phone but the design doesn't look the way its promo

  • sgtsdg

  • please NOkia 5210 how much? Nokia 6510 HOw much? please send email to me?

  • this is one of the best phones:)

  • signal is weak and noisy. don't buy

  • The phone is good. Has many features. The sound output is a little feeble.Other wise the phone is amazing.

  • Hello! this is a very good telephone! what price is on this telephone nokia 5210?

  • If you want a really touch phone, try Nokia 6250 or Siemens ME45.

  • Want to know more about this phone

  • i have one 5210 too, is an good phone, but Nokia can do much more

  • i like very mutch this pfone

  • I have a 5210. It’s slim and lightweight. But some time it's graphic display not working properly. You must carefully handle after the removed on Express cover. Another bad problem is voice quality is bad (I think this problem due to earpiece). But still, very good phone is Nokia 6150.... buy it

  • I just love this phone because it is an ideal one.

  • this phone has what everyone wants

  • simply remarkable its odd to say but i have a mobile collection as my hobby and at this 5210 takes away many a points GOOD WORK NOKIA

  • i like nokia but this phone is terible it is ugly my 8310 rules nice!

  • nokia 5210 is so unique and it is also very cute...it has many new features ,and lot more new ideas inside there... it 's shape is nice 2 see and comfortablr to hold it. it is a nice phone.

  • My older brother likes this phone very much! Too bad he doesn't have one! :-P Too expensive! Php 10,000

  • This is a very good phone!!!

  • I will buy it. For me it will cost 150$.

  • First of all it doesnt have looks.. no functions.. do pple actually want the thermometer and wtf screen saver editor?? its for kids.. n the funny part is that some pple say its a g-shock mobile.. to me its a joke if u throw it from the 4th storey where i life im sure its gonna get busted.. its sucky .. the thing is if it doesnt have looks it must have the functions n that is sorely lacking get the 8250 its much sexier if ure into looks.. and the 5510 if functions.... its crap doesnt even have radio or mp3?? bye!

  • pretty good phone. the only thing I don't like about the phone is the off and on button.

  • Mine's software got fucked up...Nokia service asked 30$ to reinstall! Me gettin' mad? nah! In fact I think I'll bury the proverbial hatchet...IN THEIR HEADS!!!!

  • I like this!

  • wefn.wngsmvnsmvansavnkafg,.dbmb

  • looks tough but its not. if you accidentaly drop it, the cover splits. buyers must be aware that this phone is not shock, dust or water resistant. nokia fools us again!!

  • fantastic

  • I think Nokia 5210 have a funny perfomance, but for its colour no have any choice.

  • I think that the colour of the display is shity, and screen is too small (4 lines)

  • Does it have high resolution display (like 8310/6510) ???

  • Does anyone like the "pastel orange" backlight??? I think it sucks. I do not know why they (I mean Nokia >> 5210, Siemens >> almost all phones) are using this shitty colour. Somone wake them up!

  • do not buy the phone with software version 5.13 for it has bugs in it. i have been using it for 2 months now and i am very disappointed with this nokia crap. better go for another one aside from this. i am selling mine cheap coz of the bugs and will just get the sonyericsson t68i. waste of my money!

  • I think,it's so cool and different from another mobile.I like it and i think,i'll buy it as soon as possible bcos my old mobile is hanging. So boring. But i would like to know some disadvantage of nokia5210 for make to decide to buy.I really like nokia5210 so much so,i should buy it=)

  • Does this phone have Infra-red or not?? Some sites claim it does and some claim it doesn't (Nokia itself sya it hasn't got IR).

  • It Rulz!!!

  • is gut

  • Hello.I want to know if this cellphone have a good signal? Thanks.

  • I guess people who say that "people who buy this phone is gay" are gay. Really takes one to know one huh. Btw, so what if some people are gay anyway? Just wondering what century you come from 'antonio'. (The real antonio)

  • My english news are not very good.but i think i can say something about it. I like it adt it is turn out well model of nokia, because it has many funcions, it is small , i like that it has li-lion batery, not ewery phone has it,and i likae how it look like

  • It's the best cell i ever see.....

  • It's a cool mobil and i like it very much!

  • people who buy this phone are gay

  • I use siemens me45 right now and 5210 makes my head turn to it.???i don't know about 5210 compare with me45,what do you think?

  • I think 5210 is a very good phone, but I don't know how many use features like WAP when we are in internet age,and we have acces to internet from home much easier and mobile chat mode for SMS...let's be serious. For me very important is the batery ,stand by time(60h is far too less), and the time that it takes to recharge. For example at NiMh bateries it is verry long in comparatin with ericsson's Lithium bateries that takes just 1/2 hour to recharge. Also the durability and the shock resistance of the phone is a very important thing to consider.I hope the future phones will have those features.Thank you.

  • Actually looks great up close. I wouldn't really call it a photogenic phone but it does make heads turn ;-)

  • not as big as i think afterall its cute

  • Buy it cheap at BombayElectronics.com

  • I've had it for more than a month now and so far so good. Serves its purpose well. I've also learned how to like its look. It just kinda grows on you ;-)

  • hej ma bini mu nje 5210

  • well check this nokia fans, if in case you'll change your mind, cheers :)

  • nice phone i love it.

  • It's just the best, I love it!!!

  • Please answer. I'm interested in buying it: Does 5210 support multi-field contacts (name/phone1/phone2/email etc) on phone memory instead of name/number on SIM? Does 5210 save SMS messages on SIM or in phone memory? Is the number of SMS messages limited by the SIM capacity or it stores SMSs in internal memory? Thank you...

  • WOW, have your unit changed. My unit's keypad performs excellently! Great for speedtexting. As for the thermometer, the manual says that it's not to be taken seriously and gives instructions on how to get a more credible temp reading. The power button is quite hard to press. It's ok for me though since I rarely turn my unit off and I guess it comes with the 'durability' thingy. I must admit, this phone's not for everyone. It was designed for a specific lifestyle in mind. Nevertheless, though I hate how it looks, I just love what it does which is what matters to me. Got mine for about US$240 here in Manila though it's expected to go down to about US$210 once widely available. Got mine a week before its local debut. Initially wanted the 6510 which was released a week after the 5210 but found its price too prohibitive for my budget (US$ 340) and too tiny for my hands(same size as the 8310).

  • Buttons are very hard to press especially *, 0, #. The temperature feature is crap. Guess what? It measures the temperature of the phone rather than the environment. So you get a reading of 40 degrees Celcius after a prolonged use in the middle of the night. The on/off button is so hard to press, I have to remove the cover to press on it!

  • what is the price?

  • it is great!!!

  • This phone was just recently released here in the Philippines. Was in the mall when I saw one on display. Didn't really look that great compared to the other phones and brands but still ended up buying it. As the old cliche goes, beauty is just skin deep.

  • Is the Nokia 5210 available to purchase at the retailer

  • I have this Phone!!!!!and it's great!!! specially if ur sporty...it will match ur attitude. :)

  • Alaah bilang aja lu-lu pada gak bisa beli !! Pake bilang gak baguslah, murahlah, cheaplah, junklah, emang orang miskin lu semua gak bisa beli hp baru ! For me, it's a great hp ! (tapi beliin doong ! :) )

  • I'd rather spend two hours picking up soap in the shower with 'Big Bubba' the 6ft5 22 stone prisoner than have to touch this filth.

  • i would like to get a free semple to test it :)

  • it is very good and services is good thaaaaaaanks for nokia

  • Where is (WAP) HSCSD 43.200bps Data-speed? Data speed is 14.400bps -and its too slow!!. Too boring!!. =(

  • apa komplen-komplennnnn!!!pakai public phne laaaaaaa....palui kau sam..

  • g;g;g;g;g;gg

  • With the imortal word's of Bubba Sparx. So fuckin' ugly!!!

  • itzzzzzz sssooooooo ccccoooooolllll

  • Does this one display the call timer while speaking? I'm fuckin' tired of having to search all over thorugh the menu to see... not to mention that Nokia's soft writers don't seem to have heard of the MINUTE BEEP!!!!!!!!

  • I hate to admit it, but this"Transformer"-like thingie has potential... I can only hope that Nokia hasn't started a policy of sloppiness, relying only on their name for selling their stuff (well, they've got their share of crappy stuff nevertheless...)

  • i really wont this phone it looks lovly how much does it cost sim free on any network available?

  • more exclusive pictures here :http://www.mobilmag.cz/read_clanek.php?id_cl=342

  • The 5210 takes first place for being ugliest. The 33xx come second.

  • nokia is running out of ideas and out of date .. all what they do is change the cheep plastic covers they use on their phones..but inside its the same old stuff..u just pay larg money for the a new cheep plastic cover !!!!

  • I have this one but where can i download screensavers? what wap sites?

  • I found big pictures here (select JPG-Format) and here looks uglyer and cheap.

  • cool

  • wow this phone is well neat! just wondering if it is on pay as you talk? n e 1?????

  • This phone is GREAT.The design is HYPER-MEGA-GIGA GREAT.The features too!!! I will go and buy it right NOW!

  • Le-ai zis-o soro! I hope this phone will come in a fair price because I like it. It's very sporty!

  • What an ulgy fat phone... This phone should be sold in kilogram basis... Please give me the best offering for 1 kilogram of Nokia 5210... Huahuahuahahahakakekekek...!!!

  • looks like a robot toy. I have seen some photo of it in demonstration, seems that you can disassemble it and change it??? like a transformer robot toy. Dunt like it at all. ugliest nokia phone ever.

  • Hmmm - I can't believe it. They have tried for a long time, but now they have actually done it - the most stupid and ugly phone ever. He he - but if they give free samples I also want one:))

  • There is a mistakes in this page the 5210 has a infrared port in it and the data rate is 14.4 kbps. You can see it in the picture at left sides bottom. It is also dust and water resistant. There is also a training calendar inbuilt.

  • i think 5210 is beautiful, with matching bright colors but i think if u make it a bit lighter and smaller would be perfect.

  • No way Jos. No way I will buy this one, ugly, and there's only one rugged phone for me, Ericsson R310s. I know the Siemens ME45 is smaller and more advanced and R310s is old, but the R310s can take anything.Jump on it, put it in the freezer, throw it in the ocean, hell, shoot it(maybe not).U get the point.Add really good reception, and you understand why its the outdoor phone nr 1. And who the smeg wants a thermometer in a phone? If u have it on you, it will only pick up your bodyheat. And again, who wants a thermometer in a phone anyway? What's next, a rectal termometer in the nonexistent antenna to check your bodytemp? Silly Nokia, silly.

  • About time NOKIA brought out a replacement for the well ugly and dated 5110, however I dont think It WIll Be As Successful

  • I'm sure it will be a big it in Africa. But , my God, in Europe?....NO WAY...

  • me 45 is much better... this will be more expensive because it is new

  • this should be compared to the Siemens ME-45, right? but it should also be much cheaper for me to buy it!!

  • UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
