  • I think this is still available in Glorietta (WellCom), it was around 18k..

  • just wondering if anyone has had bluetooth problem like mine, try to activate bluetooth and comes back with bluetooth busy message

  • Just wondering why Samsung P930 is about to phase out already. I tried to check lots of stores but I only saw one having the said unit and its kinda expensive (P25,000). By the way, im in Manila right now. Just want to check if this is really supported by smart Mytv? There are two opinions here saying supported and the other is not. Kinda confuse.. thanks

  • this works with globe.. its not like myTV but if u have a 3G phone you could watch.. its kinda expensive though, 5pesos per minute..

  • this phone doesn't work yet with smart mytv in the philippines. i heard it used to work with dream tv, but they have stopped broadcasting recently. anyone from manila using this phone and can get dvbh tv signals? help?

  • vpcG price nito sa pinas ranges from 19-21 thousand. can afford it kazo alang fm and does not have a higher camera module. although it a nice phone for pipol hu suits it better.

  • What brand has the latest tech? I've heard some bad things about Motorola what do you think? Is there another samsung like this one?

  • nice phone. slide then swivel, what a motion. its already available here in the philippines. why is it so pricey considered to the nokia. outdoor antenna just like conventional tv. is it true that it has a PIP? bad for nokia, good for samsung.

  • The mobile TV service (My TV) is already offered by Smart in Philippines. This is one of the units supported (other two are Nokia N77 and N92). Haven't tried this unit, I just would like to know if I can sync my outlook contacts.

  • Does it have a switch to swivel? or is it manual? i know korea has the ones with the switch to manuver the swivel.

  • i 've just bought one of these phones on ebay but cannot get the tv to work.when i click the tv button-i just get a message that says checking usim . does this mean i need a special sim card to activate the tv ? can anyone help please.my sim card currently is orange 3g.

  • globe Philippines is conducting an survey with regards to mobile T.V. and I was one of the guys who were asked to particiapte in the survey I was able to fiddle through this phone It's nice, reception is very clear one push of a button and voila!!! TV already...and globe is preparing to counteract smart's mobile t.v. by offering a wide array of channels including most of sky cable's poular cable networks... camera is good...just like d600 in most aspects... menu and the main function buttons are placed awkwardly below the keypad...kinda takes time to get used to... it also has the menu of d900 which is cool ^_^

  • i have p930 mobile but how to apret this mobile sim card need or not i can not see any place sim card hold plz sir help me . i like this with tv mobile very lovly. thanks.

  • I tried the Nokia E92, but it is early to judge consdering Smart is not so prepared to commercially start the mobileTV business. On the surface, the P930 has a better promise considering it has a TV out, but I have not tested the unit. This would mean, I can wacth TV with a larger monitor. The question is how big a monitor could go with the minimal bandwidth used to brodcast the IP stream and how large is the receiver ceiling bandwidth. I hope Samsung add a driver to communicate with universal remote so a user need not stand up to change channels. Or a add-on device via bluetooth to response to voice/video or MMS/SMS calls when wacthing TV. DVB-H may be the missing link to implement a poormans digital interactive TV system for a challenged economy like the Philippines.

  • what channels does this phone get in the philippines? is it really that good? does it really have PIP (picture in picture? ..

  • How long do you think will the battery last if you watch TV on this phone?

  • i tot dis is d best celfon now but ders so many faetures nothing.nokia is d best.and slider fon easily broken.

  • Cool! Swings open, excellent build quality and great display. Nice features: incoming SMS crawls along the screen when watching TV, alarms when your favorite TV show is about to start, takes snapshots of shows. Definitely a better TV! Oh, lets not forget its a 3.5G phone. :)

  • This phone is out in the philippine market and its a great phone. you dont need a tv sim card to watch tv.. ordinary sim card will do. here in the phillipines they have 5 free channels and if you want more channels to watch for what i know you should subscribed to a cable provider that support wireless cable... coz here in the phillipines they have a dream cable that you can subscribed with this kind of phone.. and its great.. LOVE IT

  • Hi,i ve bought this "TV phone" fr Hong Kong, when i'm back in Singapore,it doesn't work here due local network operator do not ve such scv n even the local Samsung distributor can't do anything about it!!Asking Samsung why allow this model to sell in ASIA when "samsung knew only workable in captial of finland & Korea"???

  • tv sim card needed to watch tv and use the software cd included in the box to change pic size

  • About the pics to full screen.. youll need some editing programs like photoshop to change the size to 240 x 320 pixels in order to fit full screen..same with every other phones out there based on the screen size!!

  • any body who can help me on how to activate my sgh-p930 for tv prog.does it have to config.?what setting? or it has only codes to enter?tnx!

  • Please can anyone advise me on how pictures/fotos are displayed on this phone? On my current samsung d600, fotos do not fill the screen fully, or they have a type of "border" around them/ I was wondering if pictures actually fill the screen on this model? Many thanks

  • which countries support dvb-h tv?

  • with the MC issue, samsung has only started using MC recently so you can't be hard on them ^_^ And i don't think that most asian phones like samsung and docomo uses MCs or prioritizes them since its not that musch of importance in their own country... only my opinion ^_^

  • I don't think so that this phone came out in korea about 5-7 months ago... i think it between late 2003 and mid 2004 and can even extend up until 2005 but i dont think that its that early Y_Y Ive saw it being used in the korean drama fireworks, and its dvd was only released last 2005 and also consideringthat it wouldn't suddenly have a gsm version so that's that ^_^

  • Ok, I saw this phone on the internet at a Korean website, I probably saw a prototype.... Sorry... >,

  • This phone came out 5~7months ago in korea. not in 2003. There wasn't any phone like this in 2003.

  • This phone came out as an ANYCALL in South Korea in 2003... Very nice phone, has no swivel glitches, except that the Document Viewer in Korean model is not too reliable.... Would love to try this out in GSM mode!!

  • This phone is available

  • Plonker!! of course it's digital :-) not sure when it is out though.

  • Another average swivel phone will be interesting to see weather it has the same problems as every other swivel handset that has been broght out.

  • It's not a slider phone, it's a swivel.

  • is this phone has digital camera??or is it just regular camera? and when is it coming out???if anyone knows..please tell me...thanks

  • mannn this is some nice phone. i hope it comes out soon. i want it !

  • video:

  • Sam,r copy cats, intro blu tooth very last, now they never give MC with any set, plus no OS.Structure is always toyish only bcuz manufacture TFTs screen r bearable, otherwise resale is worst ad most of 50% of their models never marketed, typical korean mind.experimenting on highest MPs HDs Pdas but failures.D900 top of line finish is cracking ad unstable even MC compatability not stable nor u can rr ff the data when using it u have to transfer to fone which takes up memory, whats the use of MCs then.Sam think twice NOW!

  • this design looks really cool, too bad it's only in black.. and i don't like how the 0 is on the side rather than the bottom

  • so..is it just a spinny fone? or is it sliding and spinning?

  • This isnt just an ordinary slider. The top screen part swivels to the left, helping you to watch videos or DMB broadcasts. A very stylish mobile in my opinion.

  • thats because its a twist. look at the pics, the samsung wording goes upside down

  • what are u talking about?? of course its a slider phone samsungs not that dodgy

  • its a nice design BUT! the call/end/menu button is on the bottom??? that's gona be hard to use since we use those buttons the most

  • the screen does rotate, the rotation mechanism works with a spring inside of it, so all you need to do is tap the bottom corner of the screen and it will flip up (much like the motion of a t-mobile sidekick) and this phone is gonna be crazy...does anybody know the release date?

  • I think the screen rotates, that's why the controls are on the bottom.

  • OMG!! another slide!!! yay!! not:| what is wrong with the candybar??

  • This is a very ugly design

  • daammmn....i saw this phone in a korean show about 8 months ago....looked so good couldn't wait for it to get released outside of korea does anybody know when USA or Canada will be able to import this phone? and how much it will be in USD?

  • this is a good phone you gronk, well done Samsung i like this phone.

  • well this is a crazy design... the control panel is on the bottom of the phone... how the hell can you text faster with this design.. its very stupid looking!

  • what the hell is wrong with samsung??? give us better phones pls
