I know old post and old phone - hopefully you got your photos...but in case you didn't or for anyone else hanging onto this phone for their photos...(and it took me a long time and a lot of internet searching to get this info!) Use the IrDa - Infra red - (pre blue tooth technology) Older computers might have it but otherwise you can get an infra red dongle for approx £10. You have to do it photo by photo (each photo -options - then send by IrDa) and be close to the computer but it does work!

Hi I have a Siemens Poppy CL75 which has photo's and video clips of my mum who I lost last year. I need to download them to my computer but need the leads to connect the phone to the computer, can anyone tell me where I can get a set from I am so worried if I loose the phone or it gives up the ghost I won't be able to get them off. Yes my wife has this phone and it is absolute garbage.. very difficult to navigate, it wont download or receive any files sent to it, then if it does your options are 'delete' or 'delete all' so if you want to actually PLAY them, you are unlucky. I have bought her a nice Samsung today, when it arrives this phone is going in the river.

I have had cl75 for 2 years and everything starts to malfunction!first i don't have games anymore by some reason....when i get a message i press the key to see it and it says that there aren't any messages and i have to go in the menu and then at messages and then see it! it's pretty annoying! i came to love it but it has too many bad things about it....i have to charge almost everyday becasue it loses battery by just talking on it with one person....almost no memory...too bad it's like this because it's a nice looking phone!:(

i had this phone for about 8months...at first it was preety cool but after 2 months it started changing the seted ringtones, images, turning on and off for no reason...BAD PHONE...its nice altrought for an old lady =))

my wife has a cl75. not only is it a very longwinded & confusing phone to use, it has a habit of crashing, removing screensaver images & ringing continuously without anyone ringing in for no apparent reason. overall this is a pretty poor phone. the settings are both confusing & sometimes unreliable. playback mode with sound may be muted but, finding a way to un-mute it will take a lot of exploring. top tip: don't buy a phone unless you are fully aware of all its features & ease of use & if buying from ebay, ensure it has the manual incase it's difficult to use.

Just bought this phone from ebay for my daughter, for some reason i cant get any of the ringtones or voice recorder to playback. Any ideas why? Loudspeaker must be working as i can hear the other persons voice during calls, just no music etc.

To give longer battery life, turn off Infra red connectivity in Settings, this looks like it is the default setting. Battery loses charge even when phone is off. From charging every night I now charge every 3-4 days.

Have the poppy one - looks fabulous, but unfortunately not that good. Got to be fair though, didn't get it new, but the battery life is NOT good, it freezes and the keypad is not that good. If it's for limited use, I'd suggest it, but I much prefer my Samsung. (no bluetooth either =/) If looks do it for you... ;]

I have had this phone since christmas 2005. It was good for about the first year and then buttons started not working, ringtones and alarms went strangely quiet. It is very slow at loading/sending etc. Terrible battery life! Very small memory and no inbuilt flash. But it is definitely a consumer item for someone who wants a simple cute phone that can fit into a tiny bag when you go out. Thanks, liz

I dropped my cl75 down the toilet and when I took it out it was still switched on and working fine. It does have a very poor battery life. I have to charge it every three days. I can't wait to get a better phone with blue tooth.

I got siemens poppy too and had to buy data cable USB DCA-510 to download pics but it still doesn't work!!! I download, it says it is sending, then it says network error! But still seems to charge phone. Any ideas?

ummss emily - that only works when yuur actually recieving or making a call I think...to adjust the volume you have to do it through ringtones or setting...one of the two... can anyone help with the photo data cable? lucyy xx

and in reply to the comment below mine to recieve a picture message you have to send one first. to do this you go to Messages, Create new, MMS, Options, Insert Item and then scroll and choose which photo you want to send. after that you just enter the number and send after you have sent a photomessage you should be able to recieve one hope that helps, that's what I had to do when I first got mine lucyy

hey well a while ago I bought the Data Cable DCA 510 so that I could transfer pictures from my phone onto the computer without having to email them. The cable itself works as I can charge my phone using it. I can't seem to work out how to get the pictures to transfer though. Any help with this would be brilliant thanks. Please Lucyy x

This was a good phone at the start. Then it started not working It also crashes all the time. it also says object too big when it is okay. the screen goes blank. it will not turn off when the screen is blank the memory si not good. the whole phone is not good would not recomend

My wife has this phone and she is very happy with it. She's not the most carefull person with a cellphone and she dropped her CL75 (by accident) from the window of our seventh (!!!) floor apartment. The little thing still works without any problem!!! When it hit the ground, it only had some scratches on the side and the battery was ejected, but the battery still fits in the phone now and after 6 months the phone still works and there occured no problem of the 'free fall' at all! But don't try this at home. I won't buy you a new one! ;)

I got the poppy ages ago and its still serving me well, though i am going to buy a new fone now becos i want music etc. This phone looks gorjus and is good if you want a simple phone to make calls and text.

It started off ok untill about a month after I got it, it kept freezing, then it would just randumly start vibrating and not stop even after turned off, the battery lasts about an hour when it had full battery five minutes before, I would not recommend this fone to anyone.

Don't buy this phone! After a few months the camera broke! The device was freezing when accessing the camera. I've send it to the service center and they've replaced it with a new phone because they simply couldn't fix it! The new phone had the same problem - device freezing when accessing the camera. I got this phone for Christmas last year. A about 4 months later it turned off on me and wouldn't turn on I though this was the end of it. I sent it back to siemens through my local O2 shop and since I got it back there has been no problem. The only problem I think is that the memory is not great, but apart from that I love it.

i bought this phone about six months ago and it worked fine up until recently. it seems to be worn out but it's designed for a much longer life than half a year isnt it? it has completely given up the ghost on my alarm and refuses to recognise that i've set it, but before it completely died it was only vibrating anyway instead of using the ringtone which was no help to wake a teenager up! now it wont let any texts through but any it does it sends like 3 days late! the bad thing is that it's past its guarantee so i'm getting a new more reliable one. i did like the mirror screen though.

i got myself this phone in the summer as a treat :) i was absolutely in love with the cute design, and it fits perfectly into your hand. i've heard people saying they had software problems and problems opening it with one hand, but i had neither of those (maybe because i have pretty small hands!). i was always taking pictures and making calls, and sometimes the battery would drain a bit quickly, but it never got so low that i had problems. when i got back to university i was always texting, so my memory would fill up quickly, but i don't think it's worse than any other phone. also some might complain about the lack of mp3 ringtones, etc, but i really didn't consider them a necessity, and this cute little phone's design totally makes up for it! i even used the mirror function on the screen way more than i ever anticipated. very handy. all in all this is an incredible phone for a girl who likes a cute, functional communication too. i've lost mine now :( and i'm actually sad about getting a RAZR!

I recommended it when I first got it last Christmas, then in the Summer everything was breaking with it, the infrared didnt work, the internet didnt work, you couldnt send photos, it was screeching when i made calls. So i sent it back to thr carphone warehouse who took SIX weeks to return it to me and in the end gave me a new phone as they couldnt fix my old one. NOW, 3 weeks after receiving the NEW poppy phone, the sound has gone! the same problem as the post below except mine just stopped working one day and now doesnt work at all. SO I have the same thing with sending it back to the Carphone Warehouse! I just think ALL these phones are faulty.

I noticed today that my phone no longer made any noises...no tune at switch on, nor when someone calling nor when I received a text....it continued to vibrate though! Defeats the object of have the phone. However...I turned it off and charged it up again for an hour or so...and hey presto the tunes are back...any ideas why? and am I going to lose them again in the near future???

My parents bought me one at Easter because I saw it and I really loved it. For the past 4 months the screen has been freezing. Within the past 2 months it has been vibrating randomly and wont stop. More recently than that when someone tries 2 call me it either constantly virbrates and the screen freezes OR my ringtone jumps as well as the other two things hapening at the same time. I have to take the back off and take the battery out put it back in and switch it on all in the hope that the person ringing me hasnt hung up. I cant stand this phone anymore and I strongly reccomend you DONT buy it although you may have a different experiance with this phone than I have. If you ask me it's an incredible let down and a great way t waste money.

you can make your video last longer by:going on record video,options,settings and then change record time from mms compatib. to maximum. they then last for about 5 minutes.

i have had this phone or a few months and i have found it dissapointing. the back of it always falls off, the loudspeaker dosent work well. battery life is awful. and if you have had the phone on for a few hours and record a video it wont have sound, the video's also only last about 1o seconds!!?But you can have lots of pictues and texts on your phone, and it looks lovely and my one has a mirror that i love. i think this phone is perfect for teenage girls rather than adults. just my personal view.

I think it means that you inbox is too full so try and delete some or all of your inbox messages and sent messages (outbox) and it should go away (well it did with me!)

I bought this mobile on Orange PAYG. It wont send pics to email. I rang Orange and they said Aol and Hotmail will not accept photomessages from Orange mobiles! Also it has no tones or absolutely anything already on it. Can't get infrared to work. i have had absoulutely no problems with this fone it is cute and very well designed. The only downsides are that it doesn't have bluetooth and that the video's don't last very long. I would strongly recommend it!!!

my lobster 485 phones battery life was so short that I exchanged it for the poppy phone. I just cannot get anybody to hear me when I call them up, tried turning the volume up and its on the higest but still no luck. Only had this phone 4 hours can anybody please help.

I think this phone is nice and to turn predictive text off go to settings then phone setup then go to T9 input and click change. Thats how I got it off mine

I have been bought the poppy phone and I find the picture quality is very good it is a nice looking phone but there is only one problem, it dosent keep its charge long enough. You have to charge it nearly every day.

I think this phone is great a fab design! Although, I have put it on 'auto keypad lock' and can't take it off! Also my friends have problems recieving MMS messages that I send them. The battery life is also very poor.

Mine worked at the beging. But then it always vibrated when i turn it off. I agree with the comments on this phone. I lost (dont ask me how) all wallpaer,ringtones games in fact everything. Siemens suggested I reload stuff off the web site, did not work. Virgin helpline could only help if I had got the phone from them. Tesco helpline very nice lady talked me through the menu and we were both VERY concerned that the master reset did not require a code or pin of any kind this still did not restore the setting so the phone went back to Tesco and I got a refund. Temp mobile pone less until i can get into town for a look and the shops:-(

I bought it because I had an older siemens which worked fine. However I put my sim in this one and charged it up and whem I switched on I just got a blank screen with virgin logo. Phoned siemens who said I needed to download all the wallpaers,sounds games etc from there web site did that didnt work! Phoned Tesco helpline and lady very helpful went through the menu with me. Scary thing Master reset did not need a pin or code of any kind but still no joy. So I took it back. Temproy mobile phone less ntil I can get into nearest town to look at others :-(

poppy phone its lovely and looks really cute but the infa red doesnt work only when you get a usb cable for a pc infa red so therefore you cannot have extra ring tones etc...or pics sent to your phone and the ring tones that are on there are not very good. Thats my opinion on this phone hense im looking to sell this one and get another make!!

Ok..so its cute.. but thats about all it has going for it... I charged new one up and then went into to to find no ringtones wallpaper etc...called Virgin and give them their dues.. a replacement handset was delivered to my workplace the following day... cant ask for better service... but does not take away from quality of phone, rubbish ringtones, rubbish lighting on pictures and video, rubbish sound on voice recorder, poor help menus, poor themes to choose from, and despite never having used it yet,,, the charge is done after two days...have not topped up phone yet.. might never do so... think i'll stick to my old Sagem until I can afford a decent phone,,,

This phone is the worst phone I have ever had! Firstly the battery life is pathetic, and secondly I've only had it a few months, and occasionally it blacks out and dies on me, and now it has a flashing symbol saying I have a voicemail message, when I don't! TO THE PERSON BELOW: I think to get a puk code you have to ring the network who your daughter is on (such as Orange, O2 etc) then I think you will have to give all the phone's details and then they can give you a puk code. hope this helps.

I got this phone for Christmas 2005. I set it up and charged it and it was working fine. I turned it off that night so it wouldn't waste battery life. When I switched it back on, every ringtone, image, every little thing was deleted. It took nearly 2 months to be fixed and its now April and the sound recorder has stopped working. Its just a rubbish phone. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

to the person below: to send a picture to an e-mail address, first you must add an e-mail address in your contacts so that you can sent it to this address. then, go into messages, and create new, then mms, then go into options, insert item, picture then pictures and pick the photo you want to send. then go options, send and in the 'to:' bit, click options and it gives you a choice of 'contacts' or 'email' so choose e-mail and go to the person in your phone book that you have an e-mail address for (note: i think you might have to have this contact saved to 'phone' and not just 'sim' in your contacts book. Then thats it! hope this helps and you can understand it.

i have this phone and my Infrared doesn't work at all! I have tried it with other phones and it doesn't work, and it doesn't work connecting in the the Infrared on my laptop either which I don't understand. Thanks to the replies regarding my problem with setting new ring tone. You are right I had a number saved under family and did not know to scroll down and save the ring tone in this setting as well. Thought I was going mad, but all seems ok now. Thanks again.

In answer to setting ring tones, I too had this problem until I figured out why. I'd set a ringtone, but when this certain person phoned it wasn't the ringtone I assigned then I realised that I had that person set in the "Groups" in the contact list, I deleted that person from the Groups and when they rung again it worked. Try it and see! Also I had a similar problem I've noticed with other people where the sound recorder and the sound on the video doesn't work, reset the phone, take out the battery, put back in and it should work.

My daughter has had this phone 3 months. Still having problems with it freezing on occasion or refusing to switch on. The major problem though was with battery life. The manual specifies at least 220 hours on standby, yet we found that it was more like 20 hours on standby. If you made a call or played a video, then you are in real trouble. This is clearly unacceptable. I noted a comment on this site suggesting turning off GPRS. I tried this with no improvement. However I did find something which dramatically improves battery life and I think this may be the answer to this problem. Turn off IrDA except when you are actually using it. This is the Infra Red interface. (Settings - Connectivity - IrDA - OFF) Try it and let me know if it works for you!

I got this phone last week. Its my second handset as the first one had a mind of its own, turning itself on and off, freezing, but this one, touch wood, is great. To set a different ring tone, go to ringtones, calls then choose your tone from the ones listed, it should work. Also I've turned off my GPRS, which is settings, network and untick the GPRS box.

I got this phone for christmas (the pink poppy one) and am very happy with it! (touch wood!) The battery life is good, which I was surprised about after reading posts on here before I got the phone, and the camera quality is excellent. The design of the phone looks great and the phone is v. easy to use. My only problem is that the phone scratches very easily on the back, but other than that it's a great phone!

i had this phone for 3 months and it broke. it kept freezing and then the screen shifted down so i couldn't see the bottom quarter of it, hiding the menu bar. then i took it back, and after 2 weeks they gave it back, that night... it broke AGAIN! then they gave me a new one, exactly the same and the next morning it broke!!!! all i did was set a photo to wallpaper and the other time i just shut the lid and pu it down. has this happened to anyone else apart form me and this other person who i've heard of??!?!? is this normal to happen to two of these phones. it must be a manufacturing problem. sort it out seimens!

I would like to share with everyone else how to get longer time to record videos. Its reset setting is for 10 seconds. what you do is change the length of time you firstly record a video then to the left you should see options then you click it and scroll to the bottom of the list and then clck the right arrow and it should the say maximum you now can record videos for about 50 secounds better than 10. JOJO xxx p.s i bought this phone reconditioned from virgin mobile and so far i am very happy with it (touch wood )well that was after i sorted out the video time !!!! YAY !!!!

I bought a Pay as you go Siemens CL75, but needed to put another O2 sim card in it as i didn�t want to change my number. My old Sim card would only play one ringtone, I contacted o2 and they changed my number over to the new Sim. Problem was solved for 1 week, but now it has reverted back to playing the original rintone. Very Frustrating. The sim card that came with the phone played any ringtone, so did my husbands o2 Sim. Really odd! Any sugestions please

Received this phone as a gift for Christmas, and I do not like it all. If I miss (one) call the dispaly reads (23 Missed calls and this happens every time a call is missed. Battery life is no good and my pictures freeze and I cannot open them. I find the phone hard to open up quickly and slow to react. I am sure this phone mainly appeals to kids and teenagers because of it's babyish design, but I would spend the money on something else. I am returning my phone to the place of purchase for a refund.

I got my poppy phone for christmas 2005 and I have had problems with it. Sometimes when after i have sent a message it vibrates and doesnt stop so i have to take the battery out to make it stop and sometimes when i turn it on the screen goes blank. I also am finding it hard to find out how to turn the vibration off when you send a messge, even if i put the vibrate off or put it on silent it still vibrates after i sent a messege and isnt really ideal if in a quiet place as the vibration is very loud. My sister has the same phone and has had the same problems! I do like the phone though just little problems now and again. The camera is good quality but i think the video time should be longer.

My mum had this phone for valentines day, it is very complicated to use in my oppinion and she struggles 2 use it. But how do you make it so that you can see who the txt messages and missed calls are off cause at the mo it just says the number with no name. I would not reccommend this phone really although it is very pretty and girly i think thats as far as the compliments really go. The menu is basic, the phone book is basic, but still not easy to use. I would reccommend you pay a little bit more and not get a siemens, the cony ericsson z520i or pink razor are much better.

I must be really lucky, after charging up the phone for 20 mins the battery life lasts for atleast two days. No probs with it freezing or anything, the camera is great, but the sound recorder isnt that good. No matter how loud i play the music i want to record, it still plays back really quietly. Apart from this i love the phone, keep getting scratches all over it though, guess it must be the charm attatched to it.

I have an error message/picture (small yellow phone with exclamation mark) on the bottom left of the screen where a menu option should be. about the soudn thing not recording even with the microphone off, it might be because your profikle is set to meeting or silent etc u need it on loud or normal otehrwise it doesnt pic up on the sound.. well thats how i fixed it anyway! hoep that helps

to the post below: my screen went blank once. I just took the battery out and put it back it then turned the phone back on and it was fine. Hasnt done it again thankfully. It might be a problem with the battery if it does it repeatdely and you could get a new battery rather than having to replace the phone.

i don't get why everyone has a problem with this phohne this phone is great and i've never had a problem - camera quality is great, you can record sonsg up to 3mins30 seconds and use them as your ring tone, record reasonable length video, store plenty of texts and phon numbers, it comes with pretty much all the ring tones the average person needs,you can also send your pictures to your compyter by email, and use the infra red to send and recieve vids, pics, voice clips whatver. its an awsome fone, and mine has never frozen or turned off or played up in anyway.

This fone is awful, im not sure if every1s is as bad as mine but the sound is sh1te on both the video and vioce recorder, the battery needs recharging nearly every day,the screen freezes and to top it off im with virgin who must be the crappest network ever invented. My best friend has got this Phone (Poppy) and originally I was really impressed with it. Now that I have got the Samsung E530 I'm not so impressed with the features. The video won't record for long and mine will go for an hour. Also the her phones camera is not as good plus I don't rate the mirror much. The Siemens CL75 is �79.95 (?, correct me if I'm worng) and I would recommend paying a bit more and buying the Samsung E530. Still a good phone though.

Don't get a CL75. The support is crap. Lost all the themes and files so downloaded the phone manager and presets, got myself a DCA540 cable. Hey presto, doesn't work. Siemens support say the CL75 does sweet FA with the phone manager apart from "smart sync" which is not what it says on their downloads page. And do they care?

Poppy CL75 was Xmas present. Infra Red only communicates with another CL75 not with my son's and husbands Sony K300 or K700. SPoke with Siemens who said it should work with both.No way to get pictures off for free other than Infrared. Got USB DCA 540 cable and downloaded latest drivers and Mobile Phone Manager from Siemens Benq website. You can sync the address book on phone with the computer but nothing else. Spoke to Siemens again and they confirmed that is all you can do with this phone. I wonder if it is locked in some way by the manufaturer. Taking it back tomorrow for a refund or to swap to a Sony K520i.

hey! u cant get a usb cable for it, well i didnt and i got my phone from carphone warhouse. the recording lasts for about a minute if you go on to options and change the time to maximim. ive had loads of troubles with this pohone my screen goes blank and it plays the ringtones weneva it wants. sometimes it doesnt change the profil wen u try and change it. ive had to take this phone back to the shop for a repair and hopefully it will be fine. i will give u some advise dont buy this phone all my friends have had problems with this phone as well. xxx

TO THE POST BELOW: to get the poppy back on the screen, got into your pictures and you'll find a folder called SkinScheme, open that and the poppy picture is in there, and just "set as wallpaper". Hope this helps x x

i have had the poppy phone for a couple of weeks. the battery life is absolute rubbish and a full charge is only lasting 24 hours maximum and that is without using it for making calls or sending texts. i also lost the poppy when changing themes and have also tried master reset and it still isnt anywhere to be seen. most likely taking this one back to the shop and will keep my fingers crossed for the replacement

hi, kk anyone who is having trouble with battery life should cut out all non essential items. I turned off the light on my keypads, turned off GPRS and illumination at minumum! seriously works. I posted below but have decided to post again just to clear a few things up for people who are thinking about getting this phone. My phone is the poppy version and it did freeze once so I had to take the battery out and put it back in to get it working again. I was worried about the battery life at first as at one point it only lasted a few hours after being fully charged, so I charged it again and since then it has been fine. I was worried I was going to have to take it back! But since then its completely fine. The instructions can be quite complicated but its fine once you get used to it. I would reccommend it to anyone.

I got the phone for christmas and I love it! I am having problems with sending pictures via MMS or infrared though. My SIM is Orange and I went onto the Orange website and followed the steps which is supposed to allow you to send pictures via MMS, but it still wont work. It starts and says "connecting" but then just says "connection failed". I dont know if theres just something I'm meant to do but havent. Anyone got any ideas?

i have the poppy edition and its fab, the battery may be useless but it lasts a day or two but you get a charger with it so use it. i had the problem most ov u had by it not satying on but i took it back n got the same 1 aan now it wrks fine. its a girly fne n its wiked, all fnes ave there own problems. i love the fone its soooo stylish. if u have problems take it bk and get it mended and itll b fine!!!!!!its a gr8 fne if ya havein doubts!!!

i find this phone confusing with little help from the book, can anyone help with the simplest steps to being able to view my credit as i use it? its driving me nuts...the phone has a mind of its own and its not doing anything i tell it to. also it appears fine on the factory settings but when i add diff themes and so it appears to go on standby when im not using it...cant tell if its on or off.

Hi, Both me and my sister recieved the Poppy Phone for Xmas. Hers started switching itself off almost instantly but I was very happy with mine. Over the past couple of days, I have noticed that when the signal disappears from the phone, after a minute or so it would switch itself off. I really love the phone and so tried to change a few of the settings and so far so good. If you want to try it then go into Settings, Network, Band Selection and then change the Band Selection to the smallest setting. Also switch your GPRS off if you don't need. Phone works exactly the same and no Probs so far!!!! Hope it remedies the on/off problem!

I have the cl75 poppy phone and it quite happily meets all my needs. To turn off gprs go menu-settings-connectivity. This should make the battery life longer. Also someone said it doesn't have truetones I have managed to get a truetone as my ringtone so you can. All in all wicked phone does the job, picture quality not fantastic but i have a camera for photos anyway!!

Like most of us we all agree its a nice phone but the only let down is the battery. The charge wasn't holding for more than a day and a half. I took it back to the shop and they exchanged the battery for me which was great. I charged it for 13 hrs the battery only lasted 21hrs not a long time really when my old nokia lasted 6 days battery life on 24 7. as i say love the phone but not happy with the battery life.

I have the Siemens CL75 Poppy..The sound recording is quite terribler so not good if you wanna record things...The picture quality is good..!! Same for Video..But only last for about 10/11 seconds...! Batetry life is good...I charge mine every other day and it's fine.

Got this phone for Christmas, I'm very pleased with the way it looks, however I'm worried about the battery life because there have been so many bad comments about it. On christmas day when I opened it, and I put my new virgin sim into it, it wouldn't work, it kept on saying 'SIM MEP failed'. My advice to anyone who gets this, its not a problem with the phone, its with the sim (I put the sim into my old, unlocked phone and it worked). So I phoned up virgin, spent 20 mins registering and fixing the problem, and then it worked! It hasn't crashed as such yet, and I think its a gorgeous phone, well worth the money.

I posted a comment a while ago, before I bought this phone. Now that I've had the phone for a couple of weeks I LOVE it. I've only ever had Nokia's before, since theyre so much easier to use than most, but i still love this one. The battery, like yous said, isnt that great but its all worth it. You can get 2, maybe 3 days out of each charge. Then again, it only takes, what two hours? to charge so its all good. I live in singapore and the poppy version hasnt come out here yet which kinda sucks but oh well. I have the red one with the flowers. i looooooove it. the only diference from a nokia is when texting the 1 and 0 basically swap, (the 1 is space and 0 is symbols) so yea its an awesome phone BUY IT NOW

I bought this phone mainly for the way it looked. When receiving it I found that the phone was slow and unreliable. I waited for about 2 weeks to see if it got any better but it didn't in fact it got worse. In the end I contacted siemens but they refused me a refund even though it was faulty. In the end I had to get my dad to fight my case and they finally refunded my money about a month later. Although I was originally happy with it, I found the graphics on the phone garish, the camera terrible and the ringtones pathetic. If you are to buy this phone buy it with caution as seimens customer services are rubbish, much like their phones!!

I got the poppy version for my 16th and its even better in real life than in the photos!! BUT....... after a week it started playing up and the screen froze 4 times in a matter of one morning!! Next day the parentals took it back to carphone warehouse (which by the way is the only place i know of, which allows you to use it on other networks other than Virgin) and i got a brand new phone. I have now had this one for a few days and is working fine. The battery is a problem, i charged it last night and is now half empty (!!!) after only using it twice for a very short time today. My handset was �80 with trade-in (from carphone warehouse) and for a good quality camera phone, with MIRROR!!!!!! (all girls are impressed) gorgeous charm (which is actually quite annoying), headset and good features, it is worth the money but if you are unsure and want a more reliable phone try another one as you may be disappointed! i just want to say, i went to buy this phone with my friend on sun and already its started not to work properly. first of the charm is attached at the bottom because the string (or whatever it is) is looped round a prong and the cover fits on top securing it. the phone is great, it even has a version of the sims on it, but unfortuneatly it has now started to freeze. When my friend closes the lid and opens it up a little later the screen goes blank and then the phone switches itself off- does any one else have this problem? thanks.

"can you actually attach the dangly7 crystal and how??" At the bottom of the phone near the charger thing there are two tiny holes, so if you take the battery cover off and put the charm crossing both holes and the put the battery cover on top, and ta-da! I was bought this phone as an early christmas present about a week ago. I love it. I'm never parted from a phone anyway, but this is perfect. A mirror AND a phone. And, cute games, great camera, good video-recorder, pretty backgrounds, beautiful swarovski crystal dangly-thingy. My only complaint, is yet again the battery. It's not as if I make phonecalls, but I have to charge it up every two days. And the video-recorder doesn't really get all the noise you make, so you're better off making a sound recording, and what's cooler, you can then make you recordings your ringtones!

Ok I bought this phone last week and it's BEAUTIFUL. The design on the case is stunning and the overally finish is smooth and pearlescent. It has a small screen on the front which is really useful for if you want to know what the time is or see if you have any messages without having to flip it open. After having a Panasonic GC67 for years (a truly terrible phone and the worst purchase I've ever made!) I am stunned at how easy it is to write text messages on this phone. The letters come up on the screen really quickly. It's also quite difficult to accidentally send a text message to the wrong person, because when you highlight a name in the address book and then the number comes up along with the name so you can check if it's the right person or not. This phone also has a mirror which I think is the handiest thing ever. There aren't that many ringtones but you can download them and the ones that are on there are quite cool. There are also some fun games (one of which involves being cupid in a platform game and having to collect halos...addictive!) When I was using the video camera the screen did freeze, but this was more due to me pressing too many buttons than due to the phone being at fault. When you're using the camera and you want to exit then give it time to just switch itself off; if you then start pressing random buttons it tends to freeze and you have to then take the battery out. Overall, this is a dreamy phone and it's perfect. :)

ok, so i updated from a broken nokia 3210. i like this one better! the 'girly' are a little over the top, flowers, mittors, a cute game about a naughty angle...i'm trying to find a 'swan lake' ring tone. i like the design but don't realy want to live in a world of genderized phones. for the �99 i paid ~ that's the limited edition poppy edition, i am very happy with the overall quality, and admittedly the prettyness does blend nicely into my lifestile. i do have two very big problems. the first being that i was asured that the phone is java compatable before i perchased. it is, but hardly anyone, if anyone, who suplies the games suports the handset. also, no expandable memery. some, though admitedly not very many, websites say that it takes some sort of 'flash' memery card, shops then told me that my phone takes 'transflash' memery cards. i spent �50 on one of these, and guess what? yep, no expandable memory, but you can buy a Camera Flash. so i advise anyone who is reading this, the cl75 is -not- compatable with any sort of memory card, including transflash. siemens own presentation, however, is accuate and i am very happy with them. this is my first siemens phone and i am suprised to here myself say that i prefer this phone to any of my previouse nokia's

Bought one Monday, returned it today (Wednesday) and traded it for a Samsung E530. Spend the extra bucks and get a phone she'll really like! Screen quality was disappointing, lots of colors but poor resolution makes it look cheap. Ringtones sound distorted at 3 or 4 volume, and I had some other problems such as blank screen, random restarts and such, but those may be 'coz it is such a new model! What counts: she didn't like it. The square edges and hinge design didn't fit her hand, and the phone was hard to open. Like I said, I traded it for a E530, and she loves that one!

Is there anyone who has this phone? In Spain it hasn't come yet but i've heard some comments (not very good) about it: it spends too much time in charging battery, it goes out battery in just one day, not so many features as they advertise,... It has a very nice disign, I had Sumsung T500, in the same dark red colour, also has a mirror. This ohone has a great future because it is made for women with a personality. They combined the classicism together with elegance. A woman with a phone like that can show her own personality and also can show that she is different from others. I like very much the idea of feminine phone, there is not so many phones with so nice disign and posibilities. I am going to have this phone as soon as possible. Found a website which said the phone is �191 inc vat, so i am guessing it will be summthing like �200 in the shops. Aswell as the red flower design they do a black one, might get my boy friend one so we can have a 'his and hers monile phone' becca

This phone is SO cute. It's really great, I love the look and the whole mirror thing but it really doesnt have that many features. Why not? Why couldnt it have a radio or a caller ID thing. I think that kinda sucks, I dont no if I want it or not

Looks a gorgeous phone, my wife loves the look of it. My only gripe is that Siemens have kept us waiting far too long for it's release... it seems to have "coming soon" for about three and half years ! (ok, a slight exaggeration). BUT - I emailed Siemens who advise the release date is 12/08/05 in the UK. Fans, the long wait is almost over........

I am one of siemens biggest fans, i love all their mobiles. Its been a long time comming, but I am very glad that siemens now have 262k clour screen mobile phones, also vey plesed they have a 262k clour flip phone, can not wait to get the cl75 and try it out.
