Yes you can. Just keep updating until you have zenui 5, then update again. ThisA HUGE 1,3 gb download. Make sure you have AT LEAST 3gb free or it WILL DOWNLOAD AND FAIL meaning you will have to download the WHOLE 1,3 gb again. Oreo makes this phone go from freezing every so often to"only" sluggish. It also will make your battery feel like a1500 mAh battery instead of 3000. Be warned. But at least it will become barely useable... For the little time it stays alive, that is

It is so slow I almost don't believe or have 4 core 2gb ram. Closing Facebook lite to return to main screen it gives me the rotating icon with only wallpaper for THREE SECONDS before showing apps icons Battery looks like 1500 mah, not 3000. It does within for hours of heavy use Charger does not support turbo or even 2amp. Only 1 amp, meaning it discharges even plugged in with MODERATE use. It should be renamed from Zenfone 4 to jokephone 1 the first bad taste Asus played on costumers. I have had znf 2 go live it was good. Znf 3 Max it was good and znf4max, it was very good. I got tricked into thinking the znf4selfie would be at least CLOSE to Max. Like, a little less battery for a better camera, but keeping other stats the same. Fooll of me. It have worse charger worse battery worse casing quality worse performance. Why name it znf 4? Really, this is borderline unethical, so misleading it is. The overall performance and feel is closer to the znf2 family on this glorified paperweight

Very disappointing! I bought mine 3days ago. I went back to the store the day after, because the front cam didn't work well. Some photos were so blurry as if it was corrupted. They replaced it. But again, the same thing happened to my new unit. Also the battery gets drained very very fast, but charges very very slow!!! Another thing, the signal is very low! It's always H+! I still have to restart it to be back to 4G again. But when I do, the battery decreases from 6% to 3% real quick!! It's really stressing me out! VERY DISAPPOINTING! But I purchased it through Home Credit, can I just terminate it or have a refund or something? Thanks. :)

Quite dissapointed with my purchase of this phone. It's slow, the camera sucks(the irony is, it's suppose to be a selfie phone but the camera quality sucks BOTH the front and back camera sucks) It HEATS UP EASILY! The price is not worth it. I should've bought a Samsung J5 or J7 pro. My last phone was an asus phone, half the price of this phone but it's performace was better than this! Dissappointed.

Yes, unfortunately i can't recommend this thing for you, the battery drains so fast, heating problems (same as all other phones in the same series), and the camera is not that impressive considering this is titled as 'selfie' which they should be focusing more. The back panel is 95% plastic. For the conclusion, id rather increase your budget to afford the original zenfone 4 or if you're budget is just really cheap i can still recommend zenfone 4 max. I both have max and selfie and i'd say max is way better but heavier and i've seen zenfone 4 and it looks aesthetically good and the performance is way better than the cheaper versions.

i have this phone, and i really find this one great, knowing that its not that expensive plus it has incredible specs, what else you could asked for. Mine perfectly works fine, it doesn't log when i play mobile legends, the touch sensor also are awesome. i really love asus when it comes to smartphones. this is such a cool phone with a reasonable price. :)

Im very disappointed! Yes! Disappointing. 4gb ram and 64gb space seems to be very good. Yes it is! Design is beautiful. But there is one thing! Whenever I play moba games, multi touch suddenly stops working causing my character not to move or not being able to touch other buttons on the game at the same time. I have to completely stop touching it before it would work again. My connection is great. At first, I thought it was just the game it itself, but hell no! I tried to play different moba games and it does the same thing. I can almost throw my fone and break it to my disappointment. I also thought it could be the glass protector so I removed it. But it is still the same. I also experience some touch delays on other apps. My phone is only 3mos old and O hate it! I dont recommend this phone to moba gamers!

Overall is a good cellphone. But I didn't like the fact that the screen is too large. It doesn't fit well in on hand and it is hard to touch some places on the screen using one hand. Also The resolution is low for the screen size, therefore you can see the screen lines.

Great value for money...and it feels durable from the first use until now, cameras are perfect..gaming is also perfect, I've played Asphalt extreme, Gangster Vegas,Asphalt nItro, No Heating issues.some multiplayer games have heating issue And it's common in every Smartphone. Fingerprint scanner is faster than Nokia 5, camera launching is also faster than the latter. Battery seems to be little but it's actually enough to last a day for an average user,and I've turned on power saving mode, the phone is still faster and smoother. I was one of those who bought it on first sale at 14k and its the best phone at this price range and its my third Asus too after Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 2 laser. Advantages 1) Camera- Front is awesome and wide angle camera can cover an area more than iphone so you will have to throw away your selfie stick now.Back camera is average under auto mode and good under pro mode. 2) Speaker - Its the loudest among all phones in current price range with an outdoor mode which makes it more louder.The sound is good if you are using quality headsets.I am using a Sony pair which I bought for 500. 3)Ram - 4GB ram is fair enough at this price I am using it past 2 weeks and found no lag.Though I am not a core gamer but for games like "Stick Cricket" and "Plague" this phone handles well with music on MX player or VLC in background. 4)Memory - 64gb is again a great memory in range and enough for Apps you want to have.You are also getting dedicated memory card slot along. 5)Dedicated Memory Card Slot : So this is one of those phones where you can use 2 sims and a memory card at the same time. Disadvantages : 1) Slow charging : I was using Asus zenfone 2 laser earlier it used to charge up in an hour. But for this you need to have patience either on charger or bank.It takes around 3 hrs to charge.So no quick charging here. 2) Old Motherboard: This only a concern for those who need high internet speed to download or for gamers of high graphic games.It uses 430 snapdragon which is quite old but a stable motherboard.Nokia 3,6 are using the same motherboard along with many other.Good part is its a snapdragon so its reliable.But yes if you want to play with latest hardware this is not for you. 3) Screen Resolution: This is a bit disappointing its still 720X1280 could have been 1080x1920 but on a low size screen watching movies it doesn't matter much but yes this can be a matter for gamers. Summing up if you are a simple user I mean normal music low quality games and movies this phone is for you if you are a selfies freak this is for you else you may have to look up at other options.

i bought this phone on the day it was released in the philippines. i have no idea why i bought this phone maybe because i was satisfied with my other zenfone selfie phones performance. specs wise this is such an upgrade from from my old selfie, but the resolution of the old selfie is better then this one, they get rid alot of camera menus from the previous selfie such as image stabilization, slowmo, night mode just to name a few... auto focus on his phone sucks.... i'm not even a selfie type of person who takes pictures of myself everyday or every minute but the camera is super awesome i just wish asus would bring back all the previous camera menus that they got rid off. battery life of this phone is far better from the old selfie whereas the old selfie will only last you 4-5 hrs of battery life. this phone may not be the best phone in the market now but if ur just an average mobile phone user u will definitely enjoy this phone.... btw bloatwares from previous selfie is gone with the new version of zenui...
