Both this phone and Zenpad C (Z171KG) 7 inch which I have are identical. Even the case for this Zenfone fits my Zenpad C. I measured the screen and it is exactly 7 inch (not 6.9). I guess it is just marketing not to have this phone seems that gigantic. Overall performance is just passable (1 Gig RAM) if the app is not too taxing. Snapdragon 200 Soc is pretty old. The trimmings are nice though, more like Asus wanted it to look like a proper phone than just a cheap matted tablet. The 3490 mAh battery good for no more than 8 hours of heavy surfing. The older Zenpad 7 3980 mAh battery would probably be better.

Use ZenFone 5 charge (5.2v1.32a) take about 2-3 hour( in use) but the included charger (5v1a) take about 20-30 min per one percent

I have this unit and I like it as even with 1GB I can play my games online and via emulator, the simple trick is that simply uninstall application that you do not use and restrict background process, The phone comes with an auto start manager that is very handy allowing you to stop all auto start application from the moment you power up your phablet. It does comes with FM tuner too. Picture equality is good and friendly interface.

For 1gb dont expect much. Only for light socmed user. Need to close appps history and boost your ram every time.hurting my thumb now due to to slow swiping respond

overall good performance except for the 1gb ram. it cant play online games smoothly, but, for offline game is good. failed on clash of clan, mobile legends and other online games. the rest well assured was smooth performance. hopely 1gb can replace additional gb of ram. :)

No. It is a phone. Because it is a part of zenfone.. If it's a tablet,it will be a part of zenpad. Come to think of it!😊 ASUS Zenfone GO 6.9 is a great phone indeed!😊

I bought this tab recently. I am skeptical of the 1 GB ram, i thought it would be so slow. But i was wrong, it is kind off smooth, if you did not installed to many apps. The sound was quite okay. The display is really good, and this is the main reason i buy this, to play movie on the go, sadly it does not support OTG and no 4G. But overall its a good buy considering the price. If you need a tablet to watch movies, maybe read eBooks and simple task email, Facebook, music etc., this is seriously a very good buy. Just remember to buy extra memory cards for your stuff, considering the memory is only 4GB user accesible.

Just bought this today. 3 hours nonstop use for YouTube with max brightness, no heating. Not tried games tho.. fairly smooth operation, non slippery plastic back case Happy with the purchase, reached expectation mainly for baby and toddlers purpose

it's actually a nice looking phone..have kinda played with it in the shop..almost wanted to get one.. but with only 1GB RAM, kinda made me wonder if i could play games smoothly...for..e.g. clash royale, clash of clans, etc..etc so i decided not to get one. pricing is really good though ...
