  • How is J Max performance & Wifi,4G Connectivity?

  • Beware!!! I was confused between zenpad z380kl vs galaxy j max..though it has more features than j max but asus have very few service centre for 'ZENPAD' in whole India..they service centre for others like zenfone...so i prefered samsung j max..(& now i m happy with my decision)

  • Yes you can

  • yestarday i bought it nd now it not working,,f*ck

  • You can uninstall or disable the preinstalled apps on this device?

  • Very very bad tablet... I downloaded marshmallow from the settings and after a few hours when my tablet was successfully updated most of my applications stopped responding... Lastly I would like to suggest all of you for not buying this phone , and protect yourselves from taking the risk..😣

  • To upgrade to 6.0.1 you need to go to asus support website and download the latest framware as zip then transform it to the internal storage the system will show an update notification click yes then you are done

  • how do i down load marshmallow? plz

  • how did u upgrade to 6.0 OS plz

  • Does the Z380KL model support a 128gb external memory card ?

  • Are Sennheiser headphones CX 275 x compatible for ASUS z 380 tablet 8"?

  • nope there arent any japanese language in the setting

  • it has only one slot sim

  • As it said Adreno 305 or 405 depending on which variant you buy

  • Does this tab has GPU? If it does which is it Adrno or Mail

  • Is the tablet dual or single sim?

  • Add new user before upgrade, not Google account but users. I have successfully upgrade to M , multi user still run very good. But someone is right , this is still Android M 32bit, although the processor support 64 bit, I'm ok to factory reset if 64bit version is available

  • Impressive tablet. Picture are great and screen is great. It is a bit slow and some aps crashes when I start it. A lot of Asus added software sits on it. Battery is also impressive. It can easy go 2 days with heavy use. I usually keep wifi hotspot and battery is enough for 2 full days.

  • Was just reading through the update language, says device will lose multi-support if account is deleted, not sure if that means Google account, or Asus account??!!!

  • Can anyone confirm is there japanese language option in the language setting...

  • I just bought this tablet, overall is good, and can upgrade to android 6.0.1. but why the processor have 64bit support but only contain os 32bit? sad sad

  • Can't wait for delivery , I just bought it. One question: how to activate multi-user in this tablet? Thx

  • How do I remove the 3 home button? Cos I kept pressing those 3 buttons when I play coc... :(

  • Best phone, for professionals. It's a complete portable office. Replaces laptop. On the way entertainment, etc.

  • Check your cache if it taking lot of memory or try format your zenpad and let see if its cause by software or hardware. If it cause by hardware you need to apply your warranty if you still have.

  • This tablet is good but after I press a bit hard on screen and the touchscreen went crazy maniac. Does anyone know how to fix touchscreen without taking all the hardware inside ?

  • I bought this tablet online and i can assure you this is an awesome tablet...superfast ,longlasting and execellent for gaming..dead trigger 2 works like charm and afte 1 hour of playing still have enough charge left for browsing.customization form zen ui is awesome.best priced tablet.i m satisfied.

  • so far using marshmallow new firmware nothing flaws to be found and the resolution seems to be more high definition then before. The apps/games run smoothly with this new firmware update. In My Humble Opinion , this tablet are perfect for 8 inch than any other tablet because -

  • Hey again. I think you're right about the ZenPad 8.0's main advantage over the ZenPad C7.0 which it had broken down just on month after usage. I'm planning to buy another new tablet from Asus if possible

  • Here's the link to upgrade marshmallow firmware : just download the file by clicking diskette icon ( global ) and put the download file outside internal storage so the update recognized the file.. if you have trouble clicking "Check Update" and doesn't do anything to upgrade to marshmallow , reboot your zenpad and after reboot it will show the notification to upgrade the latest update.

  • CoC run smoothly.. no lag

  • Great form factor was key purchasing feature. Also wanted 2g ram because messing w storage is a waste of time. This was a huge time saver with the snail 2.00 wifi and glacial connection speeds. The Intel feedlebaum processor gives reliably historic performance any horse racing fan would appreciate. It has this cool drop dead battery feature, that locks it up until sufficiently charged, plugged in or not. Finally, ASUS stuffed it to the gills with Android crashing functionality software (rhymes with goatware). This is the second ASUS product (p022 model) of two that made me imagine a nice warm fire fueled with cash. Rating: 5 stars (black hole variety)

  • Yup asus not mention this tablet will getting Marshmallow and i used google launcher soo smooth and nice !

  • Mine too, upgraded to Android 6.0.1 marshmellow. Very surprise. Very seldom Asus did that.

  • Today my zenpad getting update to marshmallow i feel soo suprice !

  • what about clash of clans game ?

  • It's $100 more expensive than the C 7.0. I'm not sure if it's worth to wait to save up for the much stable tablet.

  • Hi just bought a Asus ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL but does not come with headset. Can anyone advise me where to get one am in singapore. I did try using my1 Samsung to plug in buy there was no sound.

  • This Asus ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL are not suitable for hardcore gaming but it can support heavy games its just a bit lagging. But the good thing this tablet is , it not giving you so much heating then other smartphone or tablet.

  • The resolution are great even though its not like AMOLED but it give your eyes much relaxes from staring to long.

  • I suggest to you this zenpad 8.0 z380kl because the battery life is amazing imo I used to open FB,weechat and reading manga about 1 day straight and also watching youtube the battery still at 20% from 8am ( after charged ) to 11pm . This zenpad with 800 x 1280 pixels give your eyes much relaxes without to much pain if you the type to stare at screen for to long. Also with this huge 8.0 inch you can smack people from behind for fun purpose.

  • What about its little and cheaper brother, the ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170CG)?

  • Don't buy this tablet. The battery life is sucks, the build quality also is bad, there is a gap between frame and lcd, the frame chrome frame also easy to get scratch. Performance is not that good. I bought it 2 weeks ago and just sold it again....

  • Erm Hi. I'm from Singapore and I want to get an Asus ZenPad as my daily reading and note-taking device. I'm not sure which to buy? The ZenPad 8.0 or the ZenPad C 7.0 (P.S.The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is not available in Singapore)

  • I am not recommending to buy the product, the build quality is poor. If you see carefully, the metal frame only cover the front side of the LCD. I bought mine 2 week ago. Put it inside silicone casing with a front cover, put on tempered glass. A few days later, accidentally when I picked it up, softly knocked the Zenpad corner with a wooden table. And you know what, the LCD cracked almost halfway from the corner towards the center. Brought it down to Asus service center, warranty does not cover cracked LCD even though not a single spot of damage outside at all. They only say I somehow drop the thing down and damage it. Parts is expensive not readily available, 1 week later still no news. If I know, I should have chosen slightly more expensive tablet, the original price + LCD replacement cost can get me new Samsung tablet or other better built products. And I am skeptical if it will not happen again.

  • What about resolution please..!? Is it good or just not bad!??

  • Need to know is Asus a good gaming tablet if not what would be the best one with the same price or little more..

  • Any* USB keyboard will work with this tablet if you have USB On-The-Go cable**. Bluetooth keyboards will work without any problems *No guarantee on keyboards which have backlight or try to consume more power from usb than regular keyboards **With this cable you can connect everything that has usb connection to your android device: mouse, keyboard, flash drive, etc., plus you can conect multiple devices at same time if you have a usb splitter

  • It is nice tab I got it month ago and I'm satisfied Very speed, nice monitor, good sound and strong battery I advise to buy it

  • I have got the one with 2 GB RAM Gaming 3/5 Video Quality 3/5 ASUS UI looks good. I am satisfied with the tablet. The price is not much so its a good buy. You can give it a go.

  • Asus ZenPad Z380KL have auto-focus features?

  • in Indonesia it was 3GB this is overall a good tablet with just enough display... still looking for audio cover btw

  • yes i downloded it and headset bugs was solved 💗💗

  • Its good for normal day to day use, not so good for gaming though

  • First, thanks for your response and here comes additional question, does it mean the 2-layer lcd is more vulnerable to malfunction than the 6-layer sir?

  • Yup its normal possibly due to its 2 layer lcd design as compared to normal 6 layered designs.

  • Bought one from Gurney Plaza, Penang yesterday and loving it. Battery life is good and runs smoothly.

  • This is the no the LTE 4G version. Original LTE 4G version has 2 GB RAM and 8 MP Front Facing Camera , Octa Core Processore with 16 GB Internal Memory. The sticker on TAB is ASUS ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) model but it actually 3G Model with 1 GB RAM. Model is quite good. Just Uni Euro cheated with me. I can buy the same Product on Original LTE Version with 2 GB RAM ( ANTUTU Benchmark score 29324 allmost) Qualcomm® MSM8929 Octa-Core, 64bit*1 CPU, 8 MP Rear Camera. • Hi man im from Malaysia too. This tablet is good? How about sound quality from audio cover? Did it play x265 video codec smoothly?

  • is this support, USB modem??

  • Used this tablet for a while and wasnt very satisfied. Battery life is suprisingly good, but touch response is poor. Wouldn't recommend this if you are a gamer. I have played Vainglory on this and haven't been happy with the performance as there is usually a lag during teamfights. I sold the tablet and purchased the Mi Pad 2 which I am expected to recieve in a few days

  • Can we do phone calls n is it important to have audio cover??

  • How is the tab????? battery? camera? pic quality?? give me full review... I want to buy a good tab...

  • I already owned this zenpad for 1month and so far I'm already very satisfied since its 4G all thing u surf on the internet very smoothly and fast. The battery is long lasting even you forgot to close application background it can hold almost 10 hour and left it not less than 10%. The resolution are not decent compare to samsung phone/tablet but good enough for your eyes at least it never give you headache if u staring to long. The animation of interface very smooth compare to samsung phone/tablet that lagging constantly and the zenpad rarely over heat. This Zenpad 8.0 are suitable for people who want to feel big screen for the 1st time or want to play multiple games with big screen and also good for smacking people from behind. The price at Malaysia cost RM800 with full package include audio cover.

  • yes it does and the resolution is not that bad

  • Yes it does and the resolution is not that bad

  • Please look in bhinneka.com or tokopedia. Price range is between 3.1 - 3.3 million. Good luck

  • Who knows this phone is ready to release in Indonesia? I want buy it since zenpad is newer than fonepad,,,,

  • Friend i like to know it support MHL for TV

  • is reading books OK with this tablet?

  • Not so efficient the Audio Cover is a sweet accessory if one can buy. Mi-pad, that's whats been suggested and many say the chipset does have its usual heating up & not par in performance with its phone counterparts using the same mb.

  • can we use active pen for supper note ?

  • Yes

  • This device supports the ability OTG?

  • and what about OTG? This device supports the ability OTG?

  • Comparing to the Zenpad S (the Wifi only, 32GB+2GB+up to128GB+IntelZ3560 quad core 1.8 Ghz+PowerVR6430+FHD 4:3 "iPad Mini's" display ratio+wifi ac), this Z380KL (4G+32GB+2/3GB+up to64GB+Qualcomm SnapDragon615 Octacore+Adreno405+HD 16:10 "Android" display ratio), Neither of them is perfect. But the Z380KL could probably win the battle due to its 4G sim card slot, plus the fact that it'll be up to the Android apps respective developers for those millions of apps to effectively resize themselves to 4:3 (remember that most of these apps are made for phones, some for tablets, some for both, but since 4:3 ratio is pretty new to android, it may have the smallest share. Ultimately it'll all be fixed with software/apps updates.) Alas, the 1280x800 HD screen CANNOT be "updated" to 1920x1200 FHD after purchase, just like oth

  • Y still not in malaysia?

  • release with OS Windows 10. ty asus.

  • Release it soon Asus..

  • If cheaper than galaxy tab s 8.4 lte I will buy it

  • If the ZenPads turn out to be anywhere near as good as the ZenFones, then I'm in.

  • well spec wise a really neat piece of hardware, will have to wait for some battery tests or hope theyll change their minds with the capacity, if it gets over 10 hours use im sold :)

  • Luv you guys but beginning to hate due to the occasional retro specs and being a bit pricey and dumping lower end phones when qualitative products could be shipped and provided fairly. Bring the high end product to india for a fair-price, sense the pulse of the market. Not the retarded branding value.

  • bring it to India, But keep i mind to provide it for a fair price.

  • A 4000mAh battery for all those wonderful specs. Great job Asus LOL.

  • 4000 mah battery for this screen and hardware ??!! are you kidding me ?! very funny..
