  • It's crazy because I owned the first Studio Energy then go the Studio Energy 2 so I am hoping BLU comes out with a Studio Energy 3 with maybe more RAM, internal storage and a screen size just a bit bigger. I will be on the lookout if they come out with a 3rd one.

  • I am having trouble downloading anything and everything. I placed a Micro sd card and it still will not download any files or pics or open anything in whatsapp. I removed the sd card and now it would not even read it. The sd card went from the package into the phone from day one. I am having troubling understanding where to go to even have the phone use the sd card as internal storage ...? I'm at a total loss.

  • i have a problem when downloading the update. need help!!!

  • I had the same problem...it happened over a year now and i contacted the seller i bought it from and they looked at it and said it was broken due to water damage. I did not belive them because i had never got it wet but i havent got it fixed yet. (the phone went black and got really hot i thought it was going to explode and it never turned back on again it just died)

  • I am still happily using this phone, would love to see a Studio Energy 3. hopefully if Blu makes a 3rd one they don't increase the screen size, 5" is perfect.

  • Trying also to find a replacement lcd online with no luck. Please anyone suggest.

  • Does anyone know where to buy a replacement lcd screen for the blu studio energy 2. Thanks a lot.

  • Hi, it happen that a blu studio energy was purchased by me on amazon, the phone was amazing as I expected, but for I threw on the bed and there was an speaker and the screen was broken. I tried to find the screen replacement but I do not find it anywhere if someone knows where i can find one please let me knows. Regards.

  • If I put a sim card in the slot for sim 2, while leaving sim 1 empty. Can I still get LTE?

  • How large is the card? While this website states that it can take 64gb, my phone would not. So, I inserted a 32gb card and it worked fine.

  • I had the same problem too. I had bought a 128GB SD card and it wouldn't read it on my BLU Studio Energy 2 and I tried reformatting it on my PC (With the adapter) and it still didn't read it. So what I did was take the SD card and put it another BLU phone that I have which is the BLU Studio 5.0 C HD and it read it on that one so I came and formatted on that phone and then transferred it back to the Studio Energy 2 and it finally read it even though I didn't get the full 128GB I got 117GB but I am satisfied with that much space. Try it on another phone to see if that works for you

  • yes it can

  • i have one , new , and it does not read the micro sd card. any idea ?

  • does anyone knows if this one can be used as a power bank like the first blu studio energy via OTG cable?

  • You have to reformat the cars to FAT32. You can download a utility and do it in about 10 on a laptop

  • I have original Blu studio Energy, good phone, but in Italy therebis no 3g, only edge. With Blu studio energy 2 can I fix this problem?

  • Hello, I just had this problem that the screen went off, do you fixed it? mine went off and the phone is very hot, cant turn it on.. help me please

  • It works good in Italy

  • Phone lasted 6 months and the screen went dead. Loved the phone and the battery life until then. Guess you get what you pay for

  • I bought this cellphone 6 months ago, and I love the way the battery stands It's not the best processor, but it works fine with common applications like facebook, whatsapp, clash of clans, etc.. , the calls are good, the photos are more than fine, it fits the battery usually stands for day and a half, that's amazing and that's why I bought this phone :-)

  • Anyone know if I can use a TV adapter for this cell phone??

  • Should I buy this phone? I am currently using a samsung note 5. I do not know if I should buy a second phone as a back up phone?

  • Good phone but... warranty department takes way to long. going on 3 weeks without phone, last email received was 9 days ago, when I called there was no effort to make situation right.

  • same thing for me holy crap

  • Any one knows if there will be and update to marshmallow any time soon? This is a great phone!

  • works fine havent gotten 4g yet

  • has anybody used this phone overseas in Europe, specifically in Italy? any problems with a local SIM card?

  • CDMA ? my friend Blu is a GSM phone will work with GSM networks ONLY

  • I agree. Anyone who did not get the lollipop 5.0.2 update SHOULD NOT GET IT. It messed up my phone too. However, you can correct many of the problems such as not connecting to WI FI , not recognizing the SIM or SD card and a multitude of others by doing a factory reset and reinstalling all your apps. If you have a BLU STUDIO ENERGY 2 you should be OK. However my BLU STUDIO ENERGY 2 came with 5.0.2 and it is OK. IF You have the original BLU STUDIO ENERGY {not the 2} you will have trouble reinstalling your apps after the lollipop upgrade because lollipop uses more system rom than Kit Kat and android requires many of the apps to install on the system rom, which is only a 5.5 GB partition on the total 8 GB that your phone has.

  • BLU Unlocked Phones do only work with GSM carriers such as T-mobile and AT&T and their Mobile Virtual Network Operators {MVNO's} such as simple mobile and GSM Cricket.

  • I had this problem too but I only had it since i took out the Sd while the phone was on. Did you attempt to restart the phone to fix it, that fixed the problem for me.

  • How do u format SD card?

  • I've had this phone for almost 2 months, and I can say I'm happy. The best thing: the battery, it's like traveling back in time and been able to have again a phone lasting for 3+ days with normal use. You get lot more than what you pay, for $129 it's a wonderful choice.

  • it says the battery is not removable but that is wrong because it is removable. or at least on mine it is.

  • you have to format the card to FAT32, once the card is FAT32 the phone will recognize it

  • Blu phones do not use cdma sims, period! I'm surprised someone didn't tell you that......sorry!

  • I have purchased 2 Blu studio energy 2 devices and neither seem to read or recognize my SP 64GB SD card. Anyone else have this problem? It's a brand new SD card. I have put it in a friends phone after it didn't work in my Blu's and it worked in theirs. I then put the SD card in my laptop and formatted it (to take away the files his Sony put on my SD card), then put it in my Blu again and it still didn't "see" my card. It says "memory card is not inserted" under SD capacity in Storage. I also went to Best Buy and purchased another 64GB Sandisk memory card to check if it was just that brand but that to did not read in my Blu E2. Blu E2 claims to support SD card up to 64GB... Any help would be much appreciated. Thanx

  • Blu is not CDMA compatible you need a different sim card

  • Don't get the update downloaded it and it messed up my phone so it won't connect with my wifi plz help and suggest fixes

  • I have the Studio energy 2 and am having trouble getting the two Sims to work both Sims are CDMA 4g LTE . Any suggestions?

  • I had an issue with an aftermarket bluetooth head unit and my wife's HTC. Try deleting any extra phones that aren't being used in your Honda's head unit. Also delete the Blu Studio Energy. Finally resysnc and see if that works.

  • I just purchased the BLU Studio Energy 2 as well. I'm seeing where some people are saying that it comes with Android 5.1, however, mine has 5.0. I have been having some issues with the Bluetooth paring in my 2016 Honda Accord. It will connect, play for about 20 seconds, and then just stop and the car will just lose the entire connection. I know it is not a Honda problem, as my Samsung Note 4 worked just fine. I really love the battery on this phone! If only I could get the Bluetooth problem worked out. Any suggestions?

  • yes the phone is 4g LTE

  • I own the BLU Studio Energy 2 as well as the Moto X Pure. The BSE2 battery is surreal. Never had any electronic device last so long. The software is surprisingly smooth. I thought it would be poor with only 1.5G RAM, but I was wrong. Not much bloatware to speak of either. Handy smart gestures wake the black screen. The 720p display looks good and only sips battery. Camera is mediocre but the app is cool and helps take good pics. Great phone for $129.00 on Amazon. Well worth the money. Buy two if you can. I love my MXPE and will keep it as well but this cheap BLU is a beast! Goes well with my Moto 360 too.

  • Is it 4 G ?

  • fat32 must reboot the phone after install the micro sd

  • what format of microsd card does this take? it doesn't see my samsung 64gb with either exFat or NTFS

  • good phone, cameras suck and the screen is not the best, but i got used to it and i love this phone

  • This phone is still a nice phone, though. The SUPER AMOLED screen makes the colors look sharp, and the phone is smooth and not laggy. The phone does a really good job and I don't have problems with it. The camera is pretty good too, back and front. I really like this phone.

  • I agree

  • Worst thing about this phone is the home/back/square buttons aren't backlit.

  • Yeah. They could have made the RAM at 2.0GB, front camera at 13MP and back camera at 5MP. It would have been so good to think it has a good 5000Amh battery. I hope they make a better version of this. I was about to get this today and saw the specs. My Doogee Dagger now performs better than this new Blu version.

  • I like it! I might buy it this year or next year!

  • different LTE bands

  • Is it really has bluetooth v2.0 only? It looks like a typo, because of MT6735 should have at least 4.0 UPD: yes, it's a typo,

  • That would raise the price of the phone. Simple as that.

  • get Lenovo P70... much better performance, much better design, 4000mAh battery, but same price level....

  • Almost same specification except the 5 mp front camera and processor. It's very pathetic for BLU fans. It could be 2 gb ram, full HD display, 13 mp main camera with laser/phase detection auto focus and snapdragon 615/801.
