  • lenovo a660 some days charging.some days no.

  • Battery Backup is very loe

  • just got this A660 and used it for a week now. First of all i got this phone for its waterproof properties which i have tested by putting it in a pail of water and dialed it, it worked and rang in the water. left it there for 5mins and removed it. no problem what so ever, so on the first objective it passed wit flying colors. Every thing else is average on this phone, battery life is just about 4 hours with heavy use 3G and about 10 hours if you just let it be. Chinese music in root files make for limited use for those of us who cannot venture in down there. a very average but waterproof phone.

  • Very bad in battery lasting. too short time. sharp screen. different nice look. screen is frozen sometimes.

  • Yea, I heard the Lenovo service is very bad... But I guess you had a bad luck with faulty phone. I ordered Lenovo s750, straight from china and it has 1 year warranty and seller quarantes money back or new phone if this one turns out faulty. I wish you good luck with your case!! I hope I did a right choice.

  • I got this phone (a660)for my daughter. It runs smooth, never glitched, forced reboots or any other problems. You need mobile uncle tool to get the gps set up properly. Battery is typical, I suppose, which means heavy use will get you about 12 hours. Heavy, feels like a tank, good build quality. Screen a bit pixelated, daylight visibility on par with my galaxy i9000, overall brighter. Turning on screen is by power button only. Would recommend to someone on a tight budget. Paid $125 including shipping.

  • here it is ...right from the Horses mouth......... I purchased a Lenovo smart phone in April, 2013. Within 2 months of the purchase the mobile phone developed defect and well within the warranty period of 1 year. Its screen started getting blurred to dead black. The mobile phone was deposited at Delhi service centre (just one service centre in whole of Delhi NCR working strictly as per govt timings ,, 10 to 5, mon to sat) for repair on June2013 which said that its motherboard has some problem and they do not have part. They have to get it from the company and within a week I will get my phone but now it is almost THREE months but they have not rectified the defect. Sometimes they say that the motherboard has to come from china ,blah, blah , blah. The mobile is still lying with them and they are not informing anything about the status nor even responding to mails and it is very difficult to reach them on phone(their customer care line for mobiles cost Rs 2 per min(for other products it is toll free) something that has never been seen till date) and they are neither providing any time frame for return of the handset. Mails written even to MD were not even responded, a satisfactory reply is a distant thought

  • Need some opinion from someone experienced. Need a solid phone with good battery (i often camping, go to a beach), i dont listen to music on the phone but i use camera and txt a lot). Which to chose: Sony Xperia Active, Lenovo A660 or Lenovo S750 (worth paying more for that one?) or something else??? Thanks.

  • Anyone found out how to take a screenshot on this phone? does tht function even exists for this phone?

  • its good phone, u need root 1st, so u got english lang and google play store in my phone i got like 52 languange since i not playing game on phone, it great phone to use :P ( just play ur game on steam or origins :P) good IP67 phone with dual card :P if i asked what else this phone need to improve, i hope its have 2500 mAh battery LOL i even bought 2 more for my father and mother ( so they can learn how to use android phone LOL)

  • i have this phone i'm disappointed that i can't use compass i need the compass very much

  • If it's just data that's not working: I had an unlocked Samsung phone in the US I wanted to use with an AT&T payg SIM. Worked fine for calls/text, but nothing I or a shop could do would get data it to work, regardless of APN. Then spoke at length to their support line, and they did something *at their end*, that got it working. AT&T have fine print that says they only guarantee it to work with an AT&T phone, but clearly there are things they can do top open it up.

  • I just bought one of these and unable to use it on the AT&T network.....any help would be appreciated

  • no

  • ok

  • I bought the phone some three months ago and I am very disappointed with it. As someone has written here - no manual in English etc - I did not care either. Soon after I bought it, it started to restart by itslef, the stretches are being shorter and shorter; it did not save data (eg photos) to locations it stated, so it was problematic to find and download them. Currently, the phone is in such a bad state that I can do nothing with it just send it back to the store where I had bought it....I liked the feature of 2 sims and waterproof, but it would need to run first....And there is no Lenovo support.

  • I have a Lenovo A660 phone and I'm happy with it but the problem is about poor sound quality. I don't like it even when I used the equalizer still the same problem. I wanted to listen some music on earphones and the same bad sound quality. Is there any equalizer setup for this phone ? Best wishes from Romania.

  • this doesn't have a led flash unfortunately, i'd rather choose xperia go with almost the same specs, with led flash, but doesn't have front cam. it has 8gb internal memory anyway,. xperia price? bout 10k..dunno about this phone.

  • thanx

  • none

  • does this phone have a LEDflash?

  • I seem to have got an interest in this phone but i wud like to ask if it has a ledflash. Pliz help me out before i order for it

  • Yap its a nice phone alright.I bought it in a china mobile store in yantian china. 1unit left in that store.I don't know if I bought it too much, cause I have no idea about it'd price in the market. I bought for $200 with a 16G micro sd.but the only - about this phone is the battery but all in all its a tough phone.

  • they ask as first i get phone in chiness language & horrible to understood ..

  • It's a very good mobile. Very good speed, gps signal via igo. I haven't test the waterproof abillities yet. It's just that the battery is a bit disturbing, the power is out after a use of one day. All other specs, awesome! i just got mine from merimobiles.com

  • how to update this mobile to jelly bean ?? any idea pls

  • For all those who are looking for a manual. Why You need a manual ? how to charge battery and insert a SIM knows even a grandmother. It's a 95% standard Android phone. Look for Android user manual, there plenty of them.

  • You can't find an English manual...or I should say, that I can't find one...not even after a month of hunting.

  • lenovo is not giving any software update / or any after sale support.. this will affect on sale ...

  • Where van I find the user manual in english on the internet?

  • 1. What is the video quality of this phon? 2. How much kb will take for one still photo from its primary camera? Please answer me this.

  • Hi, I'm thinking of buying this phone but have a question about connectivity. I've got dual GSM sims and travel a bit. I don't care about 3g/2g connectivity on both sims, I need the phone for voice & sms messaging. I'm concerned that the 2nd sim slot is CDMA. Can anyone clarify if this will meet my needs? Thanks

  • look on xda and forum.china iphone.ru

  • Normal use without GPS means close to one week battery time. By the way, I bought mine from Etotalk(to Sweden)and don't get GPS and WiFi activated. I am sure it is ahardware problem but Etotalk seems to not care. They just give instructions by mail and they are useless. They will not give me an adress for returning the phone for guarantee service.I will not by anything from Etotalk in the future.Nice phone , but for me it is useless without GPS and WiFi

  • Do we have simple sim slot for lenovo a660 orr is all dual sim

  • Could you provide the link to the rooting process and the ROM you are using?

  • Could someone provide info about rooting this phone and what ROM can be installed to get the Google Play store and improve the camera with some Play store camera? Also any info on the extended battery?

  • can any one provide mwe pc suit ..........

  • I got this phone from Etotalk guys, it arrived in 3 days from China to Germany - amazing. 1500mAh battery is definitely too weak, phone lasts 10 hours with minimal use... I have contacted Etotalk support to check if this an issue with either the phone or the battery.

  • How much did it cost to import the phone to Australia? And how long did it take? Thank you

  • where can i find this lenovo in luo yang china

  • how to update to jely bean ......... ??????

  • i have order.. this phone . from china , can i upgrade to jelly bin what about whole review of this phone.

  • hello

  • product is marvelous bt i tink it needs to be more price competitive as for its specifications as pumping another 5k v can go for a s2

  • You can decide about the quality. Some pictures made with a660 on the net:

  • hw is camera quality?plz any one rply me...and update full user opinions plz///

  • i like this smartphones.

  • You have some mistakes in specifications: - It is Dual Sim (Dual Standby) phone. - 2G network : 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

  • U found an 1650 mah and an 1700 mah battery for a660. Has somebody experience with it? How long lasts the 1500 mah battery?

  • I red that somebody had problem with the battery lifetime. Is this problem general?? I found an 1650 mah and an 1700 mah battery for a660. has somebody experience with it?

  • yup u can... australian mobile frequency details here and the chinese mobile phone lenovo a660 also support the frequencies as per link given... when u want to buy the phone.. just look at the specification details.. n look for PHONE BAND (hose chinese wrote it like that lmao ...

  • I'm looking at buying a Lenovo A660 from China. I'm wondering if the frequency channel is suitable for australia. Would this vary according to which country it comes from? Have tried contacting the original Lenovo websites and they can't seem to answer me. Maybe someone here knows and/or could point me in the right direction of the facts/resourses on the matter. Thanx Dru

  • what is screen type that uses this phone, is IPS lcd screen ?

  • Lucky you, my battery rather lasts 6h max (after 3 months of use). It's a shame as it was otherwise a good overall

  • Great phone. Camera would make better quality pictures (too much noise) but battery works about almost 2 days in normal using, CPU is really fast, but LCD has worse contrast than related Samsung lcd screens. I've bought it in China shop (etotalk.com) that flashed multilangues Android ICS with Google Play and removed many useless Chinese apps. I'm satisfied.

  • When will this Model be available in the Philippines? Any idea of its price?Tnx

  • the lack of digital compass and flash is very fatal for a rugged phone. coz people use rugged phone usually as a gps device to show direction and uses the led flash for torch light. i noticed that only lenovo s860 that has a digital compass feature

  • is this Phone have Google Apps Play Store so can downloads Androids Application's?? and upgradable ROM?

  • Is there a led flash for camera?

  • does anybody know the ram of this unit? one of the earlier comments was right, this would be really good if it had p700's battery.. dual and dual sim on a 1500mah batt bleh..

  • I'm all for this if they put the same battery as that of P700.

  • This phone is not yet available in the Philippines. Lenovo Mobile Philippines just launched its dual core P700i and S560 a few days ago so to complete the line-up, they might introduce this model before december

  • okay..i'll take back what i've said regarding the battery. after a week of using the battery life seems to have deteriorated drastically. my battery now last around 12 hours on 2 SIMS and moderate use. i think the dual core 1 Ghz eat a lot of the battery charge. a larger capacity battery would be much better for this unit. :(

  • i bought the phone for RMB1600 a week ago. the phone itself is amazing. with 2 SIMs and wifi connection active, the phone lasts more than 2 days (with mixed usage from text messsaging, phone call and frequent net browsing). since i got the chinese version, my only comment is that the lenovo store is sometimes annoying (it goes online by itself for updates on unwanted apps). I can't even install google play on my unit. i really hope there will be an available english flashing software for this unit soon.

  • Is this reAlly dual core? How much is it in the philippines? Thanks

  • This 3G standard HSDPA, is it only on 2100 or covers the lower bands 900,1800,1900 too? I ask this because Chinese seller quoted not HSDPA, but WCDMA on 2100, which is slower version, and not sure does it works on 900,1800 and 1900 bands.

  • and one more thing so it would be a perfect piece: a camera flash!

  • hopefully this phone will be sell in indonesia

  • yup!! setuju, masbro.. but there is one thing to think about about this phone. a 1500mAh battery for a dual sim phone with this spec? c'mon.. how long will it keep the phone alive..?

  • i think this is much ahead than the xpiria active and the motorola DEFY series

  • be waiting on this. patut ditunggu
