I bought my Lenovo P700i last April of 2013, but until now its really working very well. all features are good, camera quality is very good though it does not have camera flash. One problem with this unit is its memory which is 2Gig internal and 512 MB RAM only. but, over rating is very good.

one more thing what makes this phone pretty awesome is still work after it was sank into water for more or less 15minutes. for the 2 month early from being sank, it was worked but there are error at sensor touch, but after 2 month, the phone working normally like new without any service, just I dried it,, its miracle.. truth story

Your post needs more pictures about this phone.. I feel it is completely underrated. What I really like about it is its premium finish of the back cover. I havn't used any protective casing and it's still scratchfree, with the Lenovo logo still shiny as the time it was bought.

1.5 years with it. Lag if there are too many apps. low internal memory capacity, nearly stock UI, But what can you expect with $200 less phone. The only thing that is great about this phone is da battery is pretty impressive. This thing is damn strong! dropped it 35+ times. *CONCRETE, FLOOR, BEACH, DIRT, PUDDLE, ETC) Still running normal. (body scratches tho..)

The phone has 2 sim slots.One supports 2g network only and other supports3G. Make sure that you insert your 3g sim to second sim slot(Bottom) so that you can access 3g networks :)

You need to reset your phone to factory. Normally this happens when you did not setup your google account during the initial setup of your phone.

You must have your internet connection (via data connection or wifi) activated to bypass the security. This should let you connect to google for your account details. Otherwise (when no internet connection activated), you need to enter recovery mode (when off, press power switch for 3-5 seconds then press up and down volume buttons instantly until Android logo shows up). You then by this method wipe all data to regain access to your mobile again.

I have a Lenovo P700i phone which is one year old. My problems is the contact is not displaying the name of caller properly. Other things are almost Ok. The worst thing about Lenovo is that they are not interested in providing updates to the firmwares. No Jelly bean or KITKAT is available for this model and i am very disappointed. So dont gofor this company's phones until they provide updates. Is anybody using any custom Rom for this phone which is better than the stock ROM ?

Don't buy Lenovo mobiles, As I'm using nearly 1 year P700i dual sim, feel very bad of it. probs, 1. Keep on use net surfing with use of 3G, 2nd sim disabled, says "sim slot 2 removed". 2. If all other brand mobile receives 1 or 2 points of signal coverage, Lenovo mobile says "Restricted area changed"- after this no signal in mobile. 3. SD card not at all detecting. 4. You can't find warranty service center at least major city's in India.

To turn off the vibration in messaging go to settings Select All Settings. In PERSONAL select Language and Input. Lastly select Android keyboard and uncheck the vibrate on Keypress. Also if you want that your phone will not vibrate but the message alert tone is on just go to settings Select All Settings > Audio profiles > General in the Customize your profile uncheck vibrate and select Volumes to adjust volume and lastly select messaging ringtone that is good for you. This procedure is from my Lenovo P780

great phone! for me, there's nothing wrong with its battery! it is always depend on how you used it. one more! there's a lot of customized rom for this phone! that's one of the reasons why I love this lenovo model. you don't need to wait for the firmware update, I suggest that root this model and custom your rom, read some forum in xda-developer, there's a lot of forum there that can help you to custom the rom and make your lenovo p700i more advance android phone!

I have this great phone it's morethan a month in me and its function very well. This phone already have Power Saving options that can kill tasks so i dont have to download battery saver that consumes more battery at playstore. My wallpaper and themes are black themed not ligther that juices up battery,,some articles in forum said that "black is good...white is bad" ...now think of it and make sense about that. I charge my phone evrytime when it gets lower than 10%.i charge it ON then wait till it become 100%...then after that i always reboot it to restart running applications. It lasts me for a day and an hours.

Dear readers: I am from Chile and bought the Lenovo P700i about 2 years ago and it is a surprisingly capable Smartphone, fast, without delays, great internet Access and fast data Exchange, great dual sim experience and the camera is OK, however without flash and with a quite grainy resolution. The screen is perfect and I had no problems with this pone at all. It is solid as a rock and a great pone for work and heavy use due to its superb battery durability, which easily lasts 2 days with heavy use. Only drawback I can find is that it is quite bulky, but on the other hand it's a tough and solid everyday companion. Hope this review helps and posible buyers, Alex

just turn off your cellphone, then if it is already off just long press the power button + the camera button on the side. There's a message will appear then on the upper left corner of your screen there's a selection that you will be select, select the word that has Clear then after a minute turn off your cellphone then open it again... that's all... but maybe some of your application will be deleted...

To turn off the shutter sound of you p700i, go to your music player then turn the volume all the way down. there is no setting specifically for the camera shutter sound.

I love this phone, its good for extreme internet use and the battery is so amazing !! But the only thing I didn't like is the 512 internal memory. A bit little that's why my phone easily gets full, and hung at the same time. I know I can chose from the 3 storage the USB storage, the SD storage and the internal storage. But there are some apps I can't transfer to sd and usb storage specially those apss in interconnection/chating I think it would be more worth it if the internal memory is atleast higher than 512. Or else I didn't know more about this phone yet ! I'm just using this phone for almost 2 months. Hope someone will reply and help me on how can I use this phone more efficient. -Thanks :)

How can I use my weroam with P700i? I was able to use it with Cherry Mobile and O+, but without luck with the P700i. I created an APN similar with what I used with the other phones and with a Huawei pocket wifi....APN->weroam, Username->pldt@weroam, Password->pldt... No luck. Appreciate assistance! Thanks!

Several months after buying the P700i, I have faithfully updated the firmware and did not root the phone. However, I have noticed that the phone freezes a little more often now. You would not know it has frozen until you make a call that dials but nothing happens and hanging up takes forever or sending a text message always fails. While in most instances, turning it off and on works but twice I had to remove the battery in order to restart it. I'll get another phone in a few months time.

Hi, you can find many tutorials on youtube, and many other on XDA forums. But the best way is to download SRSEasyRoot-setup. This software is used to root/unroot P700i. Be cautious because rooting may void your warranty. If you claim warranty do remember to unroot first. The software I told you has been tested by me as I rooted my phone with it. I've been using Lenovo p700i for almost a month. I have rooted it and used it's full potential. Had a benchmark score of 6300. One thing is that the automatic brightness doesn't seem to function well when you went from a well lit area. The brightness doesn't get dimmer as it is supposed to, you have to lock-unlock it before it changes brightness. Nevertheless, it's a great phone.

I think you might need to flash a new ROM to your device. I you dont know what flashing is, and what are the technical terms like ROM, bootloader,etc. are then please google it. Hi.Follow this Settings>Language & input> Keyboard and input methods(click on the settings icon on the side) > turn off vibrations(uncheck the box) The above method may differ if you're using keyboard other than the Android default, but it will still be the same apart from you would need to open settings of that keyboard(you will find those settings at the same place)

I am using this phone for past two months.I bought this phone for its high battery back up comparing to Samsung Galaxy S-duos. I have so far tried to compare it with Samsung S-duos and I think the battery edge which I was expecting is not that visible in performance. It uses 1% of battery for every 3-4 minutes of net usage.Which means around 05hrs of Net use guaranteed from full battery to 80% battery with some calls and messages.I could n't exactly compare this battery consumption with s-duos. Other features and quality seems just the same as S-duos.Built in music player has graphic equalizer and it is superior to s-duos. The flash,light weight and wifi-direct feature make s-duos a better purchase. There is no other problem like heating and hanging found on normal usage.

I don't use the default music player anyway (been using a cool app called Cubed), but the Ram availability shows they might have done some useful optimisations under the hood. Hello Anni. The phone has wireless FM, but no FM transmitter. Originally FM TRANSMITTER is there in the CHINESE firmware version of Lenovo P700i which are being sold in tyhe SOuth east Asian and Asian Pacific nations like China,Vietnam, Phillipines ,Indonesia,etc and some other nations where lenovo release this phone like Russia. But what we have in India, we have FM transmitter in the phone , but firmware doen't supports it. Secondly, I play RF 2012(real football) ,RF 2013 and even bigger games like MAX PAYNE(game size 1.3 GB) with ease and without any hinder, Temple run. Agent Dash, Ducati etc. games which loads around 40-50 MB only run fluidly along with many apps running sideways.

When you look upon the 500 MB RAM's usage u will find only 50-60MB available(that is because of the android system apps and other essentials) , but actually what happens is the Android system allocates memory to the apps you run and other system apps are CACHED. Thus if I load a 250mb game (like RF 2012) again I will see the free RAM is 40-60 mb. SO there is no problem, go for this phone.

Reliance CDMA is different. P700i supports two GSM sims only. Out of the two GSM connection one is of 3G and one is of 2G. WCDMA is another term for 3G.

My battery becomes 100 to 36% with in 17hrs. I believe what users are reporting but I would suggest to try different conditions with the device.If possible experiment and observe the battery functioning.remove external memory , keep the phone on Airplane mode, charge it full, check with Lenovo's battery app and tell us what it shows. Moreover try installing sum battery health monitoring app from google play and check if it helps.This is just a check to find the battery health. Lastly file an RMA request with Lenovo for changing the handset(ppl have tried this already , the company hardly understands). My suggestions are only experimentation with the phone so that this will enlighten other users about the phone

Get write permission to system And many more. Battery should not last in 1 day unless you play high end games. Something abnormal. I dont know about Micromax phone but i can tell you about P700i becuase i am using it. plus points Solid build quality Great batterty life(2.5-3 days for me on moderate usage,games) Great display Good for playing games.(i play temple run a lot) negative points it's a bit heavy.(30-35grams more than it's competitors) no flash(i dont need it anyway) So i am very happy about this phone,i like this better than my previous phones HTC Desire S,Samsung S Duos..both of them used to heat up if i play temple run for a while,and battery drains up very fast for them.i dont have such problems with P700i

Hi, I have been using this phone for over 2 months now ..And my experience has been simply amazing. Battery lasts 1.5 days with above average usage with internet always on and syncing. Display has been amazing in touch as well as crispness. Performance has been great, hardly any lag. Sound quality is good. Runs majority games smoothly. Watched many movies online. Read couple of ebooks. The only concern might be accessories which are not easily available, but not much issue in case u can manage. I checked couple of days back there was screenguard available on ebay for Rs 250. I don't use any phone cover, its not required much as the phone is sturdy and fits well in hand without slipping. I bought this phone for Rs 11,300 from ebay. And thats cheap. The phone has been simply superb for me. In all 9/10 phone. Thanks Lenovo.

For those who have problems with Battery Back-Up, i know how to make it fix... just try to uninstall the applications that may cause your battery to drain, example is the Live Wallpapers, try to uninstall that... and after you uninstall, switch-of your P700i and remove the battery,after you switch off and remove the battery, put the battery again and switch it on... i guarantee you that your problem is already solved! I also have a case of battery problem last week on my P700i but i eagerly learned how to fix it. I hope i helped you a lot with my tips. Thanks

This phone is not very readily available in India, one can only find in Lenovo stores or Online shoppes, for being not so popular,or people haven't heard about it. This is the reason why we cant find the accessories easily. But dont call the phone cheap Chinese toy. Lenovo is a leading PCs manufacturer and no Multi Dolloar Company will ever spoil its name by making below-the-par machine. Believe me this machine is really amazing,no issues I ever had in gaming for the past 2 months.Yeah the vibration in quite low but nowhere can you find a gem. For accessories-be smart and buy it online from ebay stores.I myself will have the accessories for sales available with me soon. I have used this phone for past 5 days. The user experience is very good. It has good camera, screen resolution and clear sound. The best part is the Dual-SIM the way the SIM's are configured and used are very user friendly. Software also supports warning you in case you try to use a roaming SIM. I strongly recommend this phone as its the best you can get in this price range. Con: Its bit heavy that's due to the powerful 2500mAh battery, if the weight is fine for you. Rest is all good.

The battery of this phone is amazing , i got it ordered on ebay and received it on 14th jan , after 1st charging the battery , continued using to 16th with 3 hours of internet wifi , 2 hours on 3g and 2 hours on voice calling still left 19% on 16th . been using p700i for 4months now. i had some battery issues during first few days but turns out it was due to some unwanted running app and settings adjustments. after that, battery life was excellent. no heating up issues. over all performance is great. just look for useful apps to enhance performance. only problem is hard to find accessories but solved that too. i bought them from ebay.

1.good and handy phone, 2. heatsup on the top side when working on wifi for some long time- 30-45 mins. 3.Sound from phone speaker is lesser comparing others on this range. 4. screen display excellent 5. no gpu for games ( some sites clam it has GPU but its not so) 6. 512 MB RAM bit less on ICS ( but the price matters) Verdict: Good phone for price we pay.. I think the S560 has beetr GPU and quality of sound. Go for S560 for 2000Rs more if you can afford.

Guys I've heard that many people are worried about the heating issue.I am a user of the phone and i've been using it since on month(dec 5).There is no such issue that i've experienced till now.It is heating up only when the screen is kept on for long time without using the phone(by mistake).I faced this problem a few days ago.But the phone did not heat up much when i played temple run for an hour,browsed for an hour or two.It heats up by an ignorable amount for which guys need not worry since all phones do heat up a little.

The phone has brilliant results.....the most used apps work with no hastle...the touch is smooth and screen vibrant...there was no lag what so ever even after multitakin it with 7 apps at the same time....the cam is decent.....and the best thing I found was it just takes 8 secs to boot up.....the size of the phone is apt and the UI is abov average... Yes now the battery...woohoo tats killer...it gave me 14 hours straight with non stop net usage....350mb download and constant messagin through whatsapp, fb, text...Flipboard and google currents...with minimum gaming and 30 mins phone calls...and all this with 2sims working throughout Now to the negatives... 1. No flash 2. A bit heavy ( due to the battery) 3. The inbuilt dictionary is a total piece of shit 4. After sales service can b a problem 5. Very poor quality headsets 6. Accessories unavailable 7. And the worst of all..when I took it for getting the screen gaurd done.. the shopkeeper said...No screen gaurd for china phones. Lenovo P700i Overall worth every penny spent

@sandeep: I got same problem with the battery back up too. but I found the problem is my 32gb sd card is full , so it drain my battery. when I free much space , the battery issue was disappear. now my battery can stand for 30 hours more with 3g on and dual sim . hope it will help...

I'm not sure which area you reside but it's pretty popular in Manila. It has a huge ad on the major newspaper *everyday* for these past few months. I got mine delivered the same day I ordered online. It's way better than Galaxy S Duo and all other Dual Core android phones. :) With it's relatively best bang for the buck price, it's 10/10 stars for me! :)

When u connect ur phone to pc,lappy u get a symbol on left top of ur phone which gives an option for u to connect to usb.Try this bcause i do connect my phone to lappy in this way.Else u can also access this option from settings(storage).

Guys n Girls please take pleasure in reading this review before purchasing the phone n for queries regarding any doubts about the phone before purchasing it u can contact me at : [email protected] (owner of lenovo p700i) Lenovo p700i is a great budget phone.I have been using the phone for 15days n i've brought it from lenovo exclusive store.The only thing that bothers u is that it does'nt have a flash and the rear camera is little embossed.But the phone has a great battery 2500mAh which gives u great battery backup n a dual core processor(MTK 6577 chipset with dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU) which makes the phone really fast.There is no screen lag n the mali-4(quad core) graphic card delivers a great gaming experience.Games like Asphalt 7,Nfs mw2 have been working properly on the phone n i did'nt witness any graphics lag while gaming.To be frank the speaker does deliver an average performance but the music experience with a good headphone is fabulous.The headset given by them as an accessory will not satisfy u a lot but once u have a good set of headphones and n u tune the equaliser for optimum performance u will love it.The mobile is dual sim.The phone weighs 162gms which is perhaps little heavy but there is no compromise on the display (800 by 480 pixels) 4-inch,233ppi pixel density. The phone has a good camera which promises u a 720p@30fps recording(of course u'll miss the flash if ur more interested in the camera).It has built in face recognition app n app killer which give great pleasure to use the phone. Hey Guys, There was a lot of bugs and issues with my phone. Do a factory reset, most of the bugs will be fixed. Mine had a problem with caller id and battery life. It got fixed after factory reset. For Lenovo India service visit :

I have the Lenovo P700i => Great phone with a surprisingly fast and snappy interface, plays HD games too (gpu is same as iphone 3gs!) The screen is IPS LCD and has amazing clarity even in sunlight. Dual-sim, front facing camera plus trustworthy brand! The OS themes, animations etc are highly customizable. One hec-ova phone for 11.5k! Only downside is that its a wee bit heavy and headphone quality is bad. Try to get a demo piece, the UI will blow you away, its actually more responsive and faster than Samsung's so called hi-end "Galaxy" series. If you need a dual sim android phone with a snappy interface within 12k, get this NOW!

Hi Ravi. You must look on the comaprison of both brands phone. Huwei has LED flash, but drawbacks are Cortex A5 processor,single sim(not even quad band), 1500 mAh battery,high price, TFT screen., Lenovo p700i offers LCD-IPS display,2500 mAh,dual SIM with dual standby(you can receive calls on both sims together at a time), cortex A9, price is 11,400 INR (on ebay.in), but yeah drawback does exist for the LED flash(it doesn't even matter to me,coz the phone is brilliant due its battery backup). Both dont have easy available service center. I have already posted my opinion earlier on this website about after sales services of Lenovo in India(please read before buying). But service center might be there in metros and big cities(but atleast its not there in Rajasthan,India) I wud recommend Lenovo as I too have bought one just now.

Karbonn a15 is almost same as lenovo p700i and bettery is 1400 mAh. So why lenovo p700i 's price is high and double than karbonn a15 in India. Hi, I have installed Temple run and Fifa RF12, phone performance is normal without any lag while playing above games. Even I bought this phone yesterday @ 11.3K in Bangalore. Installed few apps and games. Battery backup with 3Hrs Wi-fi, 1hour call and playing games for an hour, I'm left with 40% battery life in 24Hrs duration.

Need to d/w games and see how the phone performs, 5MP camera does a good job in daylight, LED flash light surely missed during low light. Just purchased this phone when my iPhone 4s was stolen. Being an Apple user before, my standard for phone replacement was high. I bought this phone because of the 2500mah battery life which I really need since I'm always connected to the internet on my phone. The feel was good, the phone is responsive enough and after couple of days of using it, I am really impressed with the battery life. I used to charge my iPhone 4s twice a day but this phone gives me phone battery life of more than a day me being a heavy internet user, calling and texting a lot and using this to access my corporate e-mail. I am totally impressed with this phone's reliability and I don't have to purchase a battery backup worrying that it might die within the day. Games are responsive. I tried Temple Run, Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Eternity Warriors and the game experience is good. Camera is good if not the best. But you won't complain the picture quality if under good light condition. The only downside of the camera is that it doesn't have flash. Videos are good with 720p video playback. Been using this phone to post pics in Instagram and Facebook. Audio playback is good. I don't use the headset that came with it because the quality is not that good. It has a built in equalizer to manage audio playback. I am liking this phone because of it's reliability and this is good for people who is always on the go and relies on internet connections and Social Networking. It meets my need and haven't let me down since the first day I purchased it.

I personally was certainly waiting for a smartphone which wud offer a great battery back up to me (as smartphones drain battery quicker mainly bcoz it is supplied with battery which is of less amps). And now by looking at lenovo p700i 2500 mah battery, i must say this mobile wud be a great performer specially in terms of battery. But then again am not satisfied by the overall structure of this fone which is what making me to roll back my idea of buying this piece (guys pls remove that lenovo logo from the screen top & place it small on the bottom backside of the fone just like karbonn did as it luks weird). I just wanted to inform the lenovo people that they did a commendable job by considering the need of a strong battery but, it wud hav been very much better if this mobile had been much shorter n slimmer.. Bcoz the days are gone where a person carrying a bulky mobile feels comfortable (am not talking about tablets or phablets, as thats a different topic yet). Now-a-days the current market requires it to be shorter (here am not talking about the screen size but the overall size of a mobile), slimmer & elegant (the more slimmer the more elegant it luks). So I suggest lenovo to eliminate that unnecessary extra size of the fone at the bottom of p700i (including that physical touch keys as ICS doesnt need it) + make it slimmer anyhow by keepin the screen size & 2500 mah battery unaltered (which is the only plus point of the fone i feel), then trust me if that achieved people will rush to have this piece & it will go up like a rocket in terms of sales in India.. So now i hope to get an enhanced shorter & slimmer version of p700i with 2500 mah battery sometime soon... All the best & i welcome lenovo into the smartphone market segment in India..

Bought the P700i and so far it holds true to its claim regarding the battery life. A full charge lasted a day (heavy internet usage and calls). Price is not hefty considering the great specs and features that this phone possessed. One thing I noticed is that the sound quality is not that good or not as loud (compared to my other branded smartphones like iphone4s and xperia arc s). Perhaps the S560 may be a better choice for those who wanna use their handset as a music player. Bought this phone because of speed and power (longer batt life) and Lenovo is fulfilling its promise. Had it for a week now and works perfectly fine. Good job Lenovo, though there are still tons of things that can be done to be able to reach your goal (to be in the top 3 smartphone makers in the world).

Don't use live wall screen . Check WLAN, Bluetooth and Date Con off if you don't use them. My unit's battery lasted longer. Now it's more running close to 36 hrs. with heavy calls, surfing and few movies.

I just bought mine in China last Nov. 7, 2012. Battery was long life, around 48 hours, wi-fi is fast, good signal strength, i can do video call using the front camera in Singapore from China. I love the apps, so easy to install for free! price converted to Peso is around 7,500 with jelly casing, micro SD USB. Downside, some of the apps are chinese, but its ok since i am learning how to read and write Mandarin hahaha

I was shocked when i have got this and using it.i had not thought that chinese phones are so great. It costs around $235 but it is same as high end phones such as apple and samsung that costs around $500 and more. I was using samsung but i found it is much more better in quality and price. Ihave heard that lenovo threw out apple from 2nd to 5th in china.Now i can beleave it . Thanks lenovo.

Sorry to hear you that. Lenovo p700 is only triband. Next time if you are traveling any part of the world, make sure your phone is quad band.

Check your sim slot, in your case make sure your smart inserted to 3g slot (lower slot). Also you should activate your data network for you to surf the internet via 3g

The P700 is not compatible with the frequencies used in the US. The 2G in the US is 850 and 1900. The 3G in the US is 850, 1700 and 1900. The P700 supports 2G 900, 1800 and 1900; on 3G it only works on 2100. This means your P700 may only work on 2G 1900. If you often travel internationally, you have to buy a phone that supports all frequencies.

Got my P700 last August and I still continue enjoy using it. Never had a problem with my dual sim, browsing is very fast as I compared it to my daughters HTC. I noticed that while we tried to search the appstore, I was done while her phone just continued to load and barely openned 1 page. This was using the same wifi connection. As for batt life, it lasts really long for as long as you don't leave apps on. The wifi does eat the batt..but with the sleep mode, I don't get the problem as others do. The only downside to the phone for me is that it doesn't come with a camera flash but rather than that, pictures come out really great. Speakers are good. Those asking abt pictures coming out blurry as you browse, it does happen but if u give it a fee seconds, it clears up and comes out great. Price is really good for a phone like this..which came with a belkin too. Im really happy to have gotten this phone.

Speaker is good even when volume is maxed out. Yes there is some problem with 720p video recording. I already downloaded the latest software update for the phone today but the video stuttering is still there. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Yes google play store is pre loaded in the phone. So once you have a internet connection you can already get any apps you like. :)

You might want to turn off connections not being used like bluetooth, wifi, data network. These can drain your battery even if is 2500mAh. I also think that having a large battery also cause the charging time to increase. I am also charging my unit around 4 hours. For belkin battery pack my charging time is around 2.5 hours. Hope this helps.

there's something wrong with your battery, my unit, i use it for texting, calling with bluetooth headset, surfing, downloding apps and games,it took me 2 days b4 charging, i think there's a one week warranty/replacement of the unit here in the phi. so you have to bring it back to the seller asap

Find the contact you want to have a video cal with, open the contact details then hold down the phone number and a popup will appear. Select "video call". The entry will not be present if you don't have a 3G signal.

From what I believe, it's still loading the picture or it stopped loading the picture. It also happens when you zoom in too much.

Bought this phone for 2 weeks now because it looks promising for a dual-sim android phone based on the reviews I read around the net. Speed: It's actually fine for its price tag since the only requirement for me to be satisfied with the speed is that it can play 720p movies without any problem and it does it without any problems using MX Player S/W decoder fast mode. For graphic-intensive apps, the ones I tested are Asphalt 6: Adrenaline(check Lenovo mobile forums on how to run this one), Final Fantasy 3, GTA 3, Eternity Warriors 2, Mass Effect Infiltrator, Max Payne, Shadowgun, Bombshells: Hell's Belles, and Frontline Commando. I actually expected it to lag when it has lots of effects going on especially in Bombshells but other than that, the games run fine. Battery life: C'mon it's got a 2500 mAh battery so no question about there. It played a 2-hour movie (non-stop) with MX Player at level 13 volume and at max brightness and only drained 20% of the battery life. At an average day where I send at least 100 SMS messages, go online at Facebook via WiFi for an hour and play Final Fantasy 3 for around 2 hours, it only drains less than 30% battery life. I bought it at Wellcom SM North (Philippines) by the way so it came with a free Balkin Power pack. The saleslady was very accommodating since she let me test the unit, charger, 4Gb memory card, and the earphones before I went ahead with the purchase. If you have any problems, update to the latest firmware. I actually had a problem with Idea Desktop suddenly stopping and it was solved with the latest firmware update (currently 114).

Day 3 of owning this phone, got it from Wellcom as well -- they still have the free Belkin Power Pack, so that makes this phone such a good buy! As for performance, Android ICS is just right: no lags, no stutters, quite exceptional for a MediaTek 1GHz CPU. Plays some 3D games as well, but don't expect it to run everything. I bought this as a secondary phone, and I expect it only as much. But it's turning out to be so good, that it can probably replace my HP Pre 3 (webOS, 8GB, dual-core 1.2GHz SnapDragon). All in all, a VERY good BUY! :)

Pros: Long battery life despite heavy use of internet and tethering... screen display I like the new message indicator! Looks nice as well.. I think th screen is scratch proof... Fast internet connection with flash... Cons: No accessories sold in our country ( case, screen guard etc)

Try to upgrade the firmware if your phone. This would solve it. I have the same problem that you are experiencing. When I upgraded to the latest firmware, all the issues were solved.

You might want to have it checked/warrantied. GPS works fine as tested (tried network, a-gps and even SAT gps which locks in for less than a minute).

you may have a deep sleep problem. try installing a battery doctor or something in order to sleep your phone 100%. i also have a problem like that and now im happy with it. non stop wifi text call for 1 1/2day.

The 2500mAh battery is misleading. I have removed all of the energy draining features on the phone and yet Lenovo P700 only reached a life of at least 17-19 hours using calls and texts only. Less than that if you use 3G,wifi, gps, movies and games. The Ice Cream Sandwich OS really is more power hunger and uses more memory compared to Gingerbread OS. *Please rate this if it helped you. This is a great smartphone for the price of p10, 990.00 and a dual active sim which function intellegently coz it ask and suggest to what network will send your message or make your call as it identifies the network of the number you are calling. You will never go wrong on your load management. It has a very long batterly life despite the doanloads i make during the day and the internet connection and download time is quick. Posting your pics kn facebook or making attachent to yahoo or gmail is so easy. Despite its 2500mhhr battery(so far the highest i coild find in the market) it goes with a free Belkin powerup chadge of 1000mhhr this is a phone that never dies its a big help for me being a sales person and always in the field. Getting to my email is so easy and quick anywhere i go. The android app of camscanner help a lot in sending documents to head office without going to photocopier shop or to scan a document needed to be sent. To salespeople or medical reps this is a must tool in the job.

I'm 99% sure it is software issue , do a factory reset and be carefull what you install after that, I 'll sugest you to install one application a time. I have the same problem (battery last for 1-2 days) after factory reset it last 8 days

A phenomenal phone here in the Philippines.. Got it for P10750 with a free 1000mAh Belkin portable backup battery station. Battery life is awesome and it lasted 3days heavy usage without games, just used the phone for calling, texting, internet over wifi, and some music playback. I have tried to set it to airplane mode, have it full charged and then copied some movies, 5 to be exact with around 2 hours per movie, to test its battery capacity. After watching all the 5 movies, battery left was around 21 percent!! What an amazing battery life for this kind of phone. Also, installing MX Player could play a lot of 720p movies and vidoes, have not tried the HD ones coz I got nothing on my backup :D

Bought this a few weeks ago in Manila. Price and package was a total steal. No better deal on an ICS smartphone with 4" Gorilla Glass IPS screen. Loving everything about this phone. Battery life is insanely long. Using it for 3 days straight with texts, calls, gaming, and browsing and battery life isn't even halfway down. That's even with one 3G internet Sim card and the other for calls. This thing's a beast. However, some minor downsides are its size (a tad bulkier than your typical svelte Samsungs). Another downside is some no-frills UI experiences. I still use a Samsung Wave as my secondary phone and no unique things like Swipe to call/text, skinned UI, etc. Very basic when it comes to commands and shortcuts, unless of course you install custom UI.

Bought my unit for P10.5K. The user interface is ok. Speed is good with installing. Loudness is ok. Only thing i hate is the activity button on top which is very hard to toggle. The phone could've had a more protruding button for easy toggle. You really have to use your nail to toggle the phone so one can open the phone.
