Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus - User Reviews

  • 2 years warranty. 2 years an 1 month: Battery worn up

  • I guess You should try LineageOS ROM

  • Unfortunately the Lenovo folks blew it with the new update. Everything seemed to be fine but the battery backup is drastically reduced now because the system is using too much resources wich was not the case at the former nougat update. I sure hope they will fix it soon because I begin to get very angry with them for doing such things as releasing half baked roms wich eventually destroy the user experience on this otherwise amazing tab.

  • Unfortunately, this update fixed the camera issue but ruined the mouse pointer. the Lag is so annoying that is impossible to use a mouse. I HATE LENOVO

  • New 117 MB update in Sweden. May 1 security patch plus bugfixes including rear Camera fix.

  • Is there slot sim card for net or not

  • Brought mine from JbHiFi just after xmas in townsville yoga tab 3 plus. Was available then but maybe not now

  • I bought mine from JB HiFi about 6 months ago, AFAIK it's still available.

  • Yoga Tab 3, isn't available in Australia? If so how to get this please, thank you

  • Is this thing actually splash resstant? I need an answer before tomorrow. Thanks

  • It is upgrade-able to Nougat, as I did the upgrade a few months ago. You either didn't buy the right tablet, or the upgrade is country specific.

  • Hi just bought yoga tab 3 plus this week after reading on here that nougat update is available for it tried to update and it is not available phoned lenovo and they confirmed nougat not available for yoga tab 3 plus now going to return tablet gsm arena please update your information on this tablet

  • Thanks a lot for your help. It worked.

  • If you are on Nougat Update then on the right upper corner tap on the settings icon and hold it for some seconds. That way you will enable System UI Tuner (a wrench or open ended spanner appears in addition to settings icon) and there it will bring you to the settings where you will be able to choose show percent setting also for battery. There are plenty more settings to play with. Enjoy! :)

  • I have Lenovo yoga tab 3 plus. After a system update I cannot get back the battery percentage on the top right of the screen. Can somebody help? Thanks

  • Alright will check it out. Thanks mate!

  • can you make a call as well or just we can browse internet

  • You can get it on ebay..

  • Updated my as well. Doh it came late but all the same nice one from lenovo. Enjoying my tab the more. Everything is ok.

  • Same with me. Duh it came late but still good. Loving my tab the more

  • I have updated mine to Nougat today

  • I purchased this tablet 2 weeks back in Dubai and what a wonderful tab! Its superb!! I was using the Yoga Tab2 8" before switching. After returning back in Nigeria, today I got Nougat update from the pre-installed Marshmallow. Its even more adorable. Wish Lenovo gave it 64gb storage instead of 32gb. Still looking for a Lenovo sleeve for it in Nigeria. Could not get it in Dubai

  • I have tablet only one month, but its one the best tablet at that price. Bad is you cannot upgrade to Android Nougat or Oreo

  • Great tablet awesome display QHD fast performance s.d insane battery life with fast charging nd sound amazing amazing amazing

  • Hi there In response to samsungs cant make regular phone calls ive used three different sized /phablet samsung galaxy tab A6 7 SM-T285, samsung galaxy tab A6 10.1 SM-T585 & Now samsung galaxy tab active Sm-t365 all of which make calls and proform just the same as a normal hand set apart for the larger screen estate area and their over size battery couple with bluetooth handsfree (plantronics 5200 uc or plantronics backbeat fit,)

  • I know this doesn't address your EXACT question, but I have a 128gb card in mine right now which works perfectly.

  • where did you buy and what cost? Thanks

  • where can i buy this product?

  • is it right, that the lte version has a snapdragon 625???

  • I have purchased the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus. The specs here say it can handle a micro sd card up to 256 gb. Has anyone actually tried this size card? I have one in mind to buy. Thanks for any reply.

  • Does it support multi window function and any pen technology as yoga tab 3 pro? And can some one tell me where can i get a lte model from amd also product code?

  • Yes!

  • It should almost all stock or near stock Android devices do (Motorola/Lenovo so on!) as do most Samsung devices these days!

  • You can buy adapters online that switch USB cables from like Type A to Type C or Micro USB to USB C and even USB Type C to USB Type C cables look online try Amazon then Ebay followed by Alibaba I get most of mine from Kogan.com/au! If you need a charger just buy online from the Google Shop the one for Pixel as it supports true USB Type C Charging and all ANdroid devices need to support Type C charging standard if they 1 use Android and 2 have a USB Type C Port!

  • Love it and works for me. Only downside is I can not find a Usb adapter for it , for using a memory stick. Bought it in Media Markt ( Lüneburg, Germany) and asked for adapter ...only to find out ,once back in Africa, that the one they sold me was micro usb ( doesn't fit). Bin searching on internet and can't find any. Is a pain as I do a lot of 'office work' on it....

  • Does it support OTG?

  • can one use OTG functionality on this tablet eg. does for example a Ethernet Adapter work?

  • You should definitely buy the Yoga Tab 3 Plus. It has a built-in kickstand, a QHD+ display, a great snapdragon processor and a giant battery.

  • Phone calling is not a necessity in a tablet pc. Do you use your laptop to make normal phone call?

  • snapdragon 625 Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 {NOT} Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53)

  • And how often does anyone use that feature?

  • Hands down the Yoga. You're getting more screen pixels, way better battery life, a built-in kickstand, and a flagship processor for the same price. This thing was actually built for entertainment ("Your personal TV"- their words, not mine LOL) vs the Zenpad which has more emphasis on design. I haven't tried the Yoga yet, only the Zenpad 3S (the Z300M model not the KL), but I have an S2 with supposedly lower specs that runs better and faster. I'd get the Yoga Tab 3 if you want to watch videos and use it for what it was meant for- TV. If you want to play games then just go with NVIDIA Shield K1 for $100 less. I returned Zenpad after abusing it for 2 weeks since it just wasn't working out for me.

  • Lenovo yoga tab 3 plus (wifi only) OR Asus Zen pad 3s 10 (wifi only) Which One should i buy? Only for entertainment purpose , no gaming.

  • Samsung tablets make phone calls

  • Tablets cannot make mobile phone calls. SMS may work however. Only Skype, Viber, etc voip calls could be used.

  • Guys I got lenovo tab 3 plus 10.1 LTE. But I can't find the calling app. Can it make calls? Please help

  • Lenovo just released a new update fixing the battery drain issues, now is working fine

  • For people who have battery drain issue: Allow the tablet to turn off(screen) by itself seems to be working fine.

  • Get a Logitech keyboard with a mouse pad built in and run it via Bluetooth.

  • Great internal memory.Atleast 256- 512Gb other Features Are Super

  • can one fix an external keyboard with otg?

  • Decent tablet...bought to replace an iPad.

  • After update system consumes too much battery life on idle ......Please fix it Lenovo

  • You can use maths all you want to come to the conclusion that 33% of the front of the device is bezel, but anyone with eyeballs can clearly see that the screen takes up much more than merely two thirds of the device. Clearly your maths is failing you.

  • Dear Sir/Mam,Gsmarena Team, pl Can you put some reviews specs about Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 10.1, LTE Specs. thanks. dd

  • Netflix had some sync-issues but found workaround. Workaround is to disable Dolby as it seems to buffer audio like hundred milliseconds or more. Some flickering issue as well, which is odd with new devices.

  • I would agree with that there seems to be a battery drain. because last night when i went to bed it was at 98% about 5 hrs later 89. my sony tablet dropped only about 2% in that same period

  • I am unsure if the LTE version has a different chipset. So far everywhere I saw the LTE one online the 652 (MSM8976) chip was mentioned.

  • Indeed no sync was fixed... ...but there is now battery drain - about 2% per hour while inactive.

  • I can confirm that finally they have fixed the issue. both youtube videos as well as facebook ones can be played as they were intended. well done to reach standard performance after all :)

  • Yes, the update works.

  • From what ive read is that Lenovo has sent out a software update to fix the audio sync issues

  • power snapdragon 625 ≠ or = power snapdragon 652

  • can i buy yoga tab 3 plus nano sim tablet.

  • I got the tablet from Amazon Spain on Black Friday and a replacement a few weeks later because of the out-of-sync audio issue. Still the same. Plenty of similar complaints (as well as some flickering issues, although these seem more a hit-or-miss thing) from other customers, both in Amazon Spain and in Lenovo official forums. The only response I've been able to achieve from Lenovo so far is a shy "we're working on it, cannot tell when it'll be solved" on Twitter. No other acknowledgement, neither in their forums nor from customer support. I'm reluctantly going to return the tablet because of its great specs and the reasonable price I got it for. A shame.

  • I really want to buy this tablet. But just wondering why Lenovo is only selling it online through orders and not in stores? Some people have also suggested in the reviews that audio and video aren't synced?? Is it with everyone or just few people? Specially I don't find this in any Store at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Neither Jarir Nor Extra.

  • fully agree with Chiliman Video and audio is unsynced (most of all on Facebook - usually does not play at all !!! ) and it seems that LENOVO really DOES NOT CARE at all to fix it. Nice hw without any software support. In fact, a great piece of crap

  • I really want to buy this tablet. But just wondering why Lenovo is only selling it online through orders and not in stores? Some people have also suggested in the reviews that audio and video aren't synced?? Is it with everyone or just few people? Please can anyone answer my questions.

  • Warning!!! Do not buy! Video and audio is unsynced and lenovo dont know when they are going to fix it. Which makes it useless as a mediaplayer

  • best tab of the year

  • My dearest brother. No way to justify Lenovo,s trick for any other reasons but factwriting moral guidelines!!Their information says (the body ratio!) 66% that means the users true screen is 6.7 inches not 6.7 dollars!!!My dearest brother, please reconsider that thanks God,people nowadays are very smart,genus,intelligent,wise,....and not anymore buy devices blindfoldedly!!You get misinformation from the plain information!!As I mentioned, please get the device in your hand with a ruler to come to the fact logically!!Also consider amount of bezel too!?At least,if you don't have the device, the pictures exist here!!Brother the dearest, for adding to your knowledge, consider the Xiaomi Mi Mix with 83% + true screen but just 17% useless redundant bezel as a record in smartdevice history!!Thanks for this scientific debate !Factwriting is Justice Rights,....Also being the best Lenovo tablet is undeniable!

  • Dimensions : 247 x 179 mm so the diagonal = 305 mm = 12 in screen size is 10.1 in so screen to body ratio is (10.1 x 10.1) / (12. x 12) = 70 % not 67 $ ????

  • My dearest. To see what I meant, please watch the pictures too,and if you have a ruler and a device, just use a simple measurement!!The whole body size is 10.1 inches but after a measurement, the left over is 6.7 arithmetically!I have to mention that Mi Mix of Xiaomi with 83% true screen size has a record in smartphone history which logically means 17% bezel!!!Thanks for your care, though factwriting is my Justice Rights,....

  • 10.1" is diagonal screen size and bezel is not included. 66.9% is screen to body ratio means the 10.1" screen is 66.9 percent of the entire body as in the actual body is larger than 10.1".

  • 10,1 inch is a DIAGONAL of the screen and NOT one of the sides.

  • The dearest. On paper, the whole screen size is 10.1 inches !!But according to the arithmetic :10.1 to 66.9 =6.75 inches !!!Why!?It has 33.1% redundant useless bezel !!I hope factwriting should not be forbidden for the public access,....O.K.Now!Justice Rights,Omid12Omidvar,..

  • Splash-proof -IP52 is nice!

  • how much percent screen in all body

  • That's not what screen to body ratio mean.

  • Why the price is 430$ ? Lenovo earlier say it is 300 $!!!!

  • As mentioned by other reviewers (check comments on Amazon for instance): great specs ruined by an awful multimedia playback performance (out-of-sync in most apps) and Lenovo not acknowledging the issue so far. Cannot recommend the tablet to date.

  • Dearest factwriting .Some facts about this tablet. On paper screen size 10.1 inches, true screen size 6.75 inches, price $ 450+ ,WiFi almost complete,Bluetooth not todays standard, cameras just for tablet, battery 9600 mah is complete, inside memory 32 gigs,RAM 3...Nevertheless the best Lenovo tablet up to now !Of course,it must be considered a midrange smartdevice!I think GSMArena commentators may write better review about it !!One thing is evident that less that a year price will be a half of the mentioned price for sure !!!

  • I have this model and for me is very good. No heating when i play, battery is good but 18h is unreal meybe 10h.

  • The audio goes totally desynchronized in applications like youtube, netflix, hbo. It is very annoying and at the moment there seems to be no solution.

  • I figured it would be in the USA for holiday season.

  • Exp. release 2016, November, its already December... Earlyer Exp. release was on October. I dont understand why is this taking so long to release it and why Lenovo isnt giving us more information about it?

  • This tablet is already released in some european countries. Poland, Germany

  • Usb Host?, LTE category?

  • Why it is not relased yet ? It shuld relased last month .

  • Not being released in UK until 2017, which sucks. Think they are clearing old inventory in the channel still. I mean who's going to buy one of those old tab3's once this hits the shelves.

  • Even with the 6.7 inches of users screen share, with 9600 mAh powerful battery it is a good midrange tablet!!I saw a price of $299,if it is right....Justice Rights,...

  • Android-Version 6.0.1

  • The listing for the operating system on the Lenovo website is an error. This tablet comes with Android 6.0.

  • Can you please let me know when Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus will be released in London? Thanks in advance

  • In Slovakia is already available. The price is from 329.29 Euro. I like it, but I wait for any reviews.

  • Hi there, Where did you get the yoga 3 tab plus from and how much was it? We are still waiting for it here in the US. It was supposed to be released in October with the 910, but still waiting. Thanks, and enjoy the day! Bill

  • Hi, Did you get the Tab 3 Plus? how much did you get it and in which country? Thank you.

  • Getting this tablet tomorrow, can't wait.

  • i bought it its an awesome tab

  • When this will be available in India ?

  • Hmm... It seems like it is going to be the best tab in market...

  • how is its performance? especially in gaming? I had the Yoga Tab 3 pro and it lagged a lot.

  • In germany its out... I got it

  • think they have been busy with the yoga book and the new version of yoga tab 3 pro with 64 user memory and 4 gb ram, so this will have to wait. just ordered the updated yoga tab myself

  • Its already Nowember and it is still not released? Anyone knows why?

  • when it will be released???

  • Can we do skype calling and internet video calling in this tab.?

  • It hasn't been released yet anywhere. Be patient but I bet it will be released here.

  • Because not many people need a projector on a tablet... besides, without projector, Lenovo can sell it cheaper!

  • Y projector not available in this?

  • Is it going to be sold in Canada or what????????

  • I am full excited to buy this one, when this will available in India?

  • But is Android or Windows?

  • Guys, Lenovo Yoga Book - 10.1 inch screen, 1200x1920 resolution, Intel Atom X5 processor, 4gb RAM, 64gb ROM, 8500mah battery, comes with a stylus! What do u think? Is it good?

  • Its platform is Windows, not Android 6.0.1 Checked from the Lenovo website. Tablet with software for windows os are not optimized for it.

  • Yeah but I do not like their SoC

  • Yeah, correct bro! Yoga Tab 3 8.0 is really a downgrade instead of upgrade.. Agreed with you, we should wait for a better tablet..

  • Huawei Mediapad M3 8.4 has 4gb RAM finally.. but screen size 8.4 inch & battery 5,100 mah are too small for me :(

  • Can we finally have a tablet that has 4 GB of RAM? I am so tired that tablet are considered as lower-end devices. The Pixel C is the only powerful tablet in here (Tegra X1 is really powerful, capable of 4k60fps)

  • Hi.wrong battery capacity noted in top of page(9600mmAh) Real capacity is 9300mAh Posted from Tehran

  • I really can't get my head around why (essentially) a laptop has a Snapdragon 652 in it. This could just be way better, I know that it's just a tablet. I'm just having trouble with so much tablets being stuck way back on cpu, GPU and ram. All of this while the way smaller phones have it all. Most of the time those tablets even have worse specs than similarly priced phones (I know the battery is a price to consider), but you don't have to get such small components and the screen is often bad resolution.

  • Absolutely! Why don't thexy release the 8" version with 3 GB RAM? I would buy that immidiatelly. Now the 8" version with poor CPU and 1 GB RAM is ridiculous. I hesitate that I should wait for better release or buy a Yoga 2 8".

  • I'm still using my Yoga Tablet 2 8 inch.. almost 2 years old.. if Yoga Tab 3 Plus has 4gb ram, I'll definitely upgrade without hesitation.. but now.. still thinking, maybe will wait untill next year..

  • Great device

  • in october exacly

  • its very nice tab ... i like it

  • when will this come to market

  • wow
