do other phones from other brands and LG has this Capture+ ability ? that gives you take screenshot with button on navigation bar , i have K430DSY , not in Taiwan , i love this phone recently more much because of Screenshot option on navigation bar , it has many good features like save in Gallery or QuickMemo+ (note app) and also you don't use your keys , then they will last longer , and biggest point is it gives you screenshot without black Navigation Bar :) unless i want a phone with more storage like 64 or 128 or more or less , i have a 16GB MicroSD , if i back to past i will buy 32GB which is most for this phone , 64 was good too before things and currency and US Dollar go about 3x - 4x , but this phone only support up to 32 GB , i wish i had phone with better battery last not only for 1 day , btw i can buy Powerbank , about its camera , it's a cancer , compare to J7 NXT , that has better quality without noise , better color (maybe that's because of Super Amoled) , specially better focus , the phone is dumb at focusing specially in close distance , and the over exposure this phone have is totally bad plus J7 NXT go to 9 from 7 , but this phone is stuck in 6 , i love 6 btw and i am not sad for being stuck on it , thank you

Yes the charging process is slow. After I changed my battery which was purchased from Amazon, the charging process has begun misbehaving. My battery was at 25%. After 1 hour of charging it was still at 25%. Then I opened the phone removed the battery and fixed it again and restarted... And to my horror I saw the battery showing 10%.

My mum is using the Mediatek variant for 2 years. It is enough for her. No problems so far. She only broke the screen glass once and got the glass replaced on the service. Pros Pretty easy to use one-handed. It is pretty light, too. Display looks good although not being OLED and having 720p resolution. Low resolution isn't noticeable on daily use. Battery can last a day (with normal use) although being a 2300mah one. Battery is removable. Rear camera is good for the price and time it was released. Cons Takes forever to charge with the original adapter. Original headphones and adapter have very poor quality No updates at all. Still stuck at Android 6.0. Low speaker volume. Software doesn't have many features, customization options are limited. Screen could have been 5.5 inces on the same footprint or the top and bottom frames would have been thinner. Having capacitive buttons on the bottom frame would be a good thing, too. Battery is a bit too small.

XDA development is poor. Screen is not that sharp. The screen adhesive melted in 2nd day of use, the adhesive also smells when the phone gets hot, and the buttons on the back became hard to press, which are signs of poor quality. Battery drains so quickly, about 2hrs to 2hrs:30min. No gyro, and no OTG support. Never had any single OS update (K430-MTK variants), just some software updates that made the device slower.

This phone is riddled with problems. I've replaced this phone twice and the same problems occurred each time. Sometimes you need to restart the phone or else the call function doesn't work. Call quality is always very grainy. But also on each phone my battery percentage always freezes on a specific number. For over a year now it has been frozen at 79% and I have no clue if it is dying or not.

LG K10, a OK type mobile. When you try to use Rear Camera flash option disabled, also the HDR mode.Flash works on the front (selfie) camera. Quality of front Camera is much better than the back. No resolution available regarding this.

It is remarkable that a major modern tech company would release such an abominable product. Call quality is very low, phone turns off spontaneously, the battery life is only about 2 hours and the curvature of the phone prevents most charging cables from functioning, including the one that comes with the phone. Those cables that do work must be precariously balanced along an edge to charge properly. Couldn't be more dissatisfied with a phone. Additionally, all of these issues persisted into a second version of the phone, so they are clearly issues that pervade many models.

I bought this phone for my mum about 6 months ago and so far it serves her well. It has a nice and big screen (not as good as on my Samsung but then again not amoled) and its fast and responsive. so its perfect for her. Only the camera is not so good but for the price its acceptable. Would recommend it to anyone on a budget. Plus i like the removable battery most new phones lack (Including my Samsung)

Its a good phone, BUT I encountered many issues (still counting) 1. Overheat - it heats so bad that the touch panel started to peel off from the display 2. touchscreen issues - ghost touch, unresponsive to touch input and imprecise (I can only use 1/4 of the screen right now) 3. doesn't have big.LITTLE processing architecture (battery gets used up even on non-demanding tasks) 4. my LG K10 just cracked the screen and it was in my pocket, I decided to go back to my old phone and opened the back to take out the SIM card and now I see that the battery has blown and that is what cracked the screen. Pure garbage. all sorts of problems. Sound disappears. Crackling in the line when I call. Apps activate wh=without any help fro me.. Phone sometimes reverses into negative mode on its own. ATT has replaced it three times and about to do another replacement. They refuse to replace it with anything else. They finally referred me to LG, which, surprise, surprise, referred me back to ATT. LG did tell me that the last phone I received was repaired on February 8. I received this phone feb. 28. coincidence? ATT still wants to send me another of the same phone, Verizon and any other manufacturer, here I come.

PoS phone: the camera is weak, the battery life is awful and the interface is horrific. The keyboard has some bizarre and frustrating bugs and the phone gets pretty hot pretty easily. Data and wi-fi connections are sporadic. Physically it's quite nice - especially the rear-mounted button - but turn it on and prepare to sink into depression. I'm quite happy that mine got smashed yesterday and that I will be back to a Moto G (G5S) tomorrow - good riddance.

Bought the gold Tmobile version in 2016. After six months the phone started losing its data signal over and over, even seeing the 4G LTE icon disappear altogether. T-Mobile, under Jump program replaced phone with another K10. Six months later, the same problem with data signal disappearing and phone locking up. Will be going back to Samsung or any other brand than LG.

i posted many issues about this phone, BUT This Post going to be quite honest IMO. This phone has good price and fast performance but the main issue are wake up / calling speaker problems made this phone a bad choice for calling and fathers . better to find a phone without this problem PLUS good performance which k10 has , good camera at least G4 camera , a average battery , like Samsung J7 to Xpower.

Since day 1 this phone has had issues. Sometimes it'll go into standby and the only way to wake it up is to start charging it. Neither tapping at the screen nor pressing the power button fixes it. When I've voiced these concerns, workers have only ever blamed apps for the issue despite it only occurring during the winter months. The camera isn't great, but it can take pictures of notes on paper fairly well, which is my main use with it. Charging issues happen, but I find that treating it like an SNES works well. If blowing on the charging area doesn't fix it, it's usually the usb cord's issue. It doesn't really function as a phone so much as a pager. You may hear it ring with an incoming call, but there's a 75% chance you won't hear or be heard in that call unless you first restart the phone. All in all this phone has given more than its fair share of headaches, I don't recommend it if you ever want to call people or if you live in a cold climate.

The predictive texting is not that great. My phone is probably a complete loss. Something happened and it is stuck in boot loop. Being I probably lost all my pictures I would not recommend this phone. Battery life isn't that great.

You need to look for a notification on your phone when attached to your pc via usb that will say something along the lines of ' tap here to choose what your phone does when attached to this pc' and on the option of gives one will say attach as mtp device. Pick that and then open my computer on the pc and find LG k10 under local devices. It will then give an option of device storage or sd card if you ha me an sd card that is, either way whichever you store your pictures on will have a folder named DCIM your pictures will be here

My one works fine. Its only ever run out of battery once and that was because I forgot to flick the switch on the plug socket. I would suggest you get a replacement phone as yours appears to be faulty.

I use this phone versioned K430DSY with MT6753 processor and when I use this phone there is a disappointment that I feel. The phone is easy to heat because the processor. Imagine, watch youtube video until playing Simcity on 4G network the heat feels on the hand until sometimes the phone turns itself off (Maybe not too hot if you use 3G or WiFi network).

Buy a memory card (costs $20) and insert it in the phones in the memkry card slot. Then you can transfer all the photos currently on the phone card onto the memory card.Future photos should then go to the new card automatically

you should / have to reset your phones ... all the new files will not be shown without reset. then try it and remember to check your USB mode. maybe in picture mode it's able to see new files w/o reset.

I have a new LG K10, previously I had a Oneplus X that died after fall in water. This K10 is a good phone but have some issues, the earphones are ugly, uncomfortable and its sound sucks, also the sound from the speaker is bad. This phones does not allow you to move apps to SD, which is bad considering that you have only 16GB of internal storage. Those are the main issues I found for the moment, I'll let you know if I find something else.

Ive had the LG K10 for 2 months now, and its a great phone. I had iphone 5S before. I use the LG mainly for Social Media (Whatsapp, FB, Messenger, Instagram, Pinstrest, Snapchat, Twitter). i also use it for Emails, light web surfing. On 100% screen Brightness i get about 5-6 hours of Screen on-time. but wen u dim to 50% brightness, i can get an extra 2-3 hrs of battery life. so i always carry a battery bank just in case. Charging it while in use, i would not recommend because it takes long to charge while in use. SO far so Good its still fast after installing many apps. Camera is ok, but not exceptional. excuse me ... actually the problem of this phone is not camera's focus .. you're right. IMO all low range phone has same problems and get noisy pictures ... but the problem of this phone (13MP phone) was very bad pictures in low light , which fixed by update. but there are 2 problems ... bad pictures in night via flash (if u touch the screen you will see better quality but when you shot you will see a Bad Color/ Bad time photo which seem has been shot in a bad moment ! (99% i am sure that it's a software issue) btw sometimes it's work very well in night pictures via flash LIKE those one that captured in daylight ! Next Problem is : (major problem) BAD very BAD macro pictures ... which make us call this phone: it hasn't 13 MP camera :)

Overall a perfectly capable phone that looks great! Primary problem with the phone is the battery. It charges very slowly, somewhere around 5h for full charge. Yet while playing Pokemon GO, you easily spend around 30% per 1 hour. Another problem, or at least.. an oddity for me is the front speaker. It's really slim and you have to really position your ear well to hear properly. However, for the price and with some smart battery management you really get a good deal with this phone, I think.

Y'all crazy... I love this phone. I mean for a $150 phone... I have not experienced any of the issues everyone is complaining about. Battery goes a little quick with HEAVY use, but come on... That's normal. Camera is dope 8 megapixel, learn how to focus and use it it's actually very good. 16GB is pretty decent storage too. I've had mine for about a year and for the price you can't beat it. It's a lot smarter than you think. Features like location based smart lock, and tap codes for unlock is dope. You must have gotten a lemon, because I love my K10. Battery lasts all day woth moderate use and charging only takes 45 min from ZERO to full. Camera is dope, but you have to know how to focus it i.e. just not being an idiot. The call issue you mentioned I have experienced but like twice ever in the year Ive had it. 16GB storage is pretty decent too. I think the phone rocks for the cheap $200 price tag.

Phone is ok. Battery is terrible. You have to charge it for literally five hours and it will work for two if you are lucky and it seems everyone has this problem. I always bought cheap phones but wanted something a little nicer. This is nicer but I have to carry lol two power Banks and not the cheap ones either. So that really sucks because I have to rely on the phone. Was supposed to be able to see the screen in the sun.........Yeah right lol Sometime actually I would say 80% of the time to make or receive a call I will have to turn the phone completely off and restart. So usually it take about 5 minutes with this phone to make a simple call. That is actually pretty embarrass lol. Otherwise internet works pretty good and that is what I mostly use it for so I didn't care to much about the calls but it is annoying. Camera pretty much sucks sometimes it will take really good picture but sometimes it takes really bad picture. Call logs don't show some of the calls either that is a hoot . All in all phone sucks

Therefore opted for a cheaper phone but not compromised on what I needed to use it for. Hi guys, I got a Lg K10 for more than 2 months and I love it. I got the K430DSY version with 2gb ram, 16 gb int memory, 13 mp camera and 5 mp front cam. For $150 this is really amazing. Decent photographs and very good wifi connection. android 6.0 marshmallow. Only two issues:- (i) battery drains fast ( ii) Weak speakers. Should download an enhancement for sound on playstore so that you get a decent sound. Overall, it is a very good phone for it's price. Thank you.

The camera is awful. No focus. The scene should have No Movement at all in order for the camera to capture a so-so photo with awful resolution. And the voice controllers on the side are very sensitive to the movement: just a small push in the hand when talking and the sound goes up or down.

Got one yesterday, K430DSY variant with Android 6.0, 2 Gig RAM, 16 Gig internal flash. Initial impression not good re amount of storage available, from the get-go you only have a bit under 11 Gig and by default you can't install apps to anything other than internal storage and the option to move apps is disabled by default. To the rescue, an easy guide Install the ADB driver from the phone onto your computer, as well as an up to date ADB shell. With a 64 Gig microSD card I now have about 48 Gig available for apps and about 28 for general storage. Be sure to buy a decent fast microSD card, anything already on it will be wiped by the procedure (existing stuff on the phone will be fine). The partition process takes several minutes at least, I went for 50% but you can just devote the entire card to internal if you want. Still complaints about the phone though - it's slippery in the hands (cover on the way), the 2nd SIM slot supposedly 2G only so imminently obsolete and lack of notification LED a real annoyance. The UI is a bit iPhone wannabee but nowhere near as bad as Huawei's EmotionUI and in any case I'll probably put Nova Launcher on.

Well this phone for me was great, camera for me was great too. I had white model but if my phone fell every time silver thingy will fell off. Second thing, my phone was rooted but one day when I factory reset it, I couldn't set it up where u have to choose mobile network or wifi(wifi option is not even selectable). My phone went to all kinda services but no one could fix it. Since then I hate it cuz I only used it for 2 months and lost alot money cuz of it. It still has guarantee but they say that the fix will be too expensive.

Bought this yesterday. No apps loaded yet but the advertised 16 gB internal is 75% false. I hooked it up thru a USB to my laptop, there was only 4 gB left internal (75% of advertised). Not much room for personal apps, photos, and music. Pass this one by. In contrast, I had 7 gB left of my Samsung Avant w 16 gB internal with loads of personal apps on it.

I had that problem too. Turns out it was just bc of that chat bubble thing that pops up when I get a text from messenger(that app linked to facebook). Just makes sure you get rid of that bubble before you try to change the overlay settings. Might be the problem

greetings i am from south africa i use an lg k10 with the octa core processor it is an awesome phone with a good display and doesnt lag when playing intemsive high-quality games although i have noticed 2 problems with my k10: 1. every time i play asphalt 8 and csr racing, it overheats to an extent that i have to remove the battery and cool it down manually 2. the battery life is bad even with the battery saver turned on, the battery goes from 100% to 40% in less than 2.5 hours lg please try to create a software update that can solve these problems thank you

Here's our thread. as you can see I already gave some youtube's url about making partition with sd card in order to move apps data and obb to sd card which serves now as your 2nd internal or adoptable storage. Now this thread will show you how to root it but before doing something with your lg k10 please do a backup of your files. and if something goes wrong or bootloop follow this tutorial. This smartphone is a budgettype .It means you have most of the features of a top smartphone but not of the same quality. It seems logic that the products had to give up some quality of the top smartphoes. One of them is e.g. the photoquality. If you don't like it two alternatives are possible. Or you take quality photo's with a real photocamera or you y yourself a top smartphone. Anything else I cannot imagine. Is his compititor Samsung galaxy J5 2016 (€230) that much beter as it is almost €50 more expensive?? I doubt it!!

This phone is horrible in pretty much every way. I know because I had to switch to it after a change in my network. The camera? Terrible. Probably the worst feature about it. The battery life and memory are definition nothing to call home about. This is absolutely not a good phone. A year ago, when it was new, it wasn't even a good phone.

The big serious problem with this LG K10 phone is that it is impossible to move apps to the micro sd card. This seriously limits the number of app that can be installed on the device. I was not put off by the 16G internal storage thinking the external would hold some apps. Other android phones I have used do not have this issue and it is something I would never have anticipated. I wish we had known before we purchased it.

i hav android 6.0 update and it working well, better ram memory using, if you see only 300 mb free ram don't use process killer, it will kill as much proces as is needed, and left only current used apps, so even 1.5 gb ram isn't bad 4 this phone. when you only using it 4 calling and sms, and switched settings from LTE to 2g mode than it can handle ~5 days without charging.

Is k10 worth buying? i tested the k10 LTE in the kiosk and im dissapointed with the camera. Its very dim and blur even though the front camera is 8mp. I compared it to Oppo neo 7 front camera with 5mp, and oppo has a better color and brighness compare to k10 LTE. Although the design caught me, but the camera sucks. I also like to take pictures. My expensive K10 420 Is very low quality. Easy to cach water, i hawe problems with srean black stripes, its costs 50 euro headphone port, power buton, light sensor, chasis quality. Android 6 eats all ram and games are slow loks like its overclocked old procesor. And it maked my Lexsar card write protected. I want my mony back.

I got this phone a couple of weeks ago and overall I like it this my first smartphone and it pretty well, BUT I do have one complaint/question regarding the GPS I have used it a handful if times and only once has it shown my current location correctly, this is magnified even more when I click start directions it typically works well for about an 8th of a mile then it goes crazy it will show my current location as beei g miles from where I currently know I am and thusly gives me poor directions. I went to another website looked at there solution which involved downloading a new app, ok fine. This app however spent an entire day trying to figure out where I am and still hasn't gotten it. Any advice? Or questions, I know I used a lot of vague terms that was for the sake of time so feel free for follow up questions. Thank you for reading!

Hey men whats the problem? Did you watch the video I linked? its very easy but make sure if you would do this back up some of your important files as it deleted all of it when you make some partition. Me as a hard core gamer advised you to use 64 or 128 gb instead of 32 but 64 gb and 128 gb is not suitable so you should format it 1st to your phone before you able to use it. Since 64 gb and 128 gb is exFAT it should be formatted as FAT32 in PC or LG k10 in order to become FAT32 file system, meaning 4 gb is the maximum for individual files. You cant use 5gb file on it ex.(Logan.mp4/avi) will not work on it that's the only disadvantage. But yeah, 64 and 128 gb also work on LG K10 even it says that 32 is the maximum. Wish I help you all by this Again the link for partitioning storage If you would like to just use 50% or what ever percentage of your sd to be you internal you should type in cmd sm partition (your disk) ex. disk:179,128 mixed 50 mixed 50 meaning 50% of ut sd would serves as a internal but if u want to use 100% of sd type sm partition (your disk) ex. disk:179,128 private just watch carefully the tutorial guys, dont be so dumb and continue to complain, battery of lg k10 is the real badass here.

Freezses always Dead I have to give every app permission and the system update really made it even worse I'm contacted tmobile today and ask 4 supervisor. I bought LG K10 in the month of August. This phone has nothing exceptional when compared to other phones in this range. The photos are little shaky when taken in Rear camera. When it comes to battery, at times while its charging it may show you the exact % of battery but when you remove charging pin it suddenly drops to the same battery % before u have put the phone on charge. Display broken within 3 months. Quick view cover is not worth to hold to drop off vibration which makes the display to break at the earliest. I must say that Samsung proved the best when it comes to display. My child must have dropped my phone n number of times. Still there was no scratch. But LG after 2 or 3 times dropping it of, display broken as if it is hammered. Not worth the money. Please do not buy it.

Heads up - the battery on my brand new out of the box Samsung LG K10 is really really bad. I text, so a bit of talking and it goes from 100% to 15% every single day without fail. Every day. At 100%, if you nothing but turn the screen off and take a shower, it will be at 95% when you are done maybe 15 minutes later. A 10 minute phone call will use around 8% of the battery. Figure 1-2% per text session (3-4 texts sent/received). This phone is J-U-N-K. Well, the batter is junk.

I am afraid i wont agree for the battery's short life or long charging time comments here. I bought K430DSY with double sim recently in Istanbul. It takes minimum a day long using it active. I have radio, phone calls, games etc. I use wifi whole day long as well. I kept spare battery but never needed it even once. I hv not experienced long battery charging gossips as well. My wife and I both have this phone, both worked fine for the first 5 months, then both phones started having volume issues where the volume would go down on it's own to zero, on my phone the alarm would and wouldn't work, I can't count the number of days I've been late for work because the alarm didn't go off. This is very true. Charges only lasts so long. It is best to have a charger that is not 2 pieces, but if it is make sure rotation, location and are off. These kill your battery very quickly. So does Wi-Fi.

Blame the charger that comes with the K10. It's a slow 0.85 A charger. Look for better 1.5A chargers if you want the phone to charge fast. Also pump express 3.0 chargers might work with the K10.

That isn't true. I got my LG K10 yesterday, and it took no longer to charge the battery than other common cellphones do. This happened to me in the past. Brand new phone, but charging took forever. Then a colleague suggested that i should use another cable, the one supplied with the phone for instance. I hesitated, because the cable and wall adapter had just worked fine, just a day ago. I still tried it, and the other cable did the trick! The phone charged even faster than i expected it. Check and double check your wall adapter and USB cable. Use another one if you can. If you can, try to charge another phone with the same adapter and cable. Only if that works as expected, can you say that something with your LG K10 is wrong.

Does anyone else have a problem with the back button not responding to wake up the screen? I will push it but the screen won't turn on, it really doesn't matter how many times I push the button either, I've probably hit it 10 times one time. I've only had the phone for 2 days. I just discovered that you can double tap the screen and that it should wake the screen up,I will see if I have any problems with that.

For fast sleep mode problem, I found an answer, in the upper or scroll down menu click edit, then find SCREEN TIMEOUT, check it then you may able to set screen shut down for 3 options, 5, 15, and 30 minutes inactivity.. .Hope it will help :)

I have a slightly different versión than the US versión, the international unlocked versión in 3g with 8mp cam and only quad core procesor i love the pone but i do have a few gripes with it.... Camara menú WTH, and Skipping music WTH.... out side of that i love my pone i have no complaints... as far as not being able to move apps to memory card on my versión i can as far as having issues unlocking, ive never had that issue and if it happens i dont notice because i just flip open the case and it unlocks... batery life is rather good on stand by provided you dont leave a bunch of apps open.. i have noticed when the batery gets lower the batery will die pretty much no matter what if your below 20% even if you have the charger plugged in it will die... i honestly cant ask for more out of a phone i just wish my music didnt skip

More, camera isn't the best, bt night pics are quite ok, outdoor pics are so so, I have seen better :) We never have to forget what we pay for the phone. On the end, here I saw so words about slow charging batt. If You like, use 3000 or more mAmp charger, but you will destroy it for few months. Slow charging is good for batt, the slower the better. Fast charging is overkill and marketing tip. Google it.

Okay can anyone help me with this. I like the phone but my biggest issue with it is the fact that the lock screen shortcuts are not working. Ive done everything i can think of. I have my phone, mesenger, youtube, chrome, and camera on my shortcuts but they never show up on the lock screen like they are supose to. I try to go exercising and have an arm pouch for the phone, but when I go to Spotify or YouTube, the songs stop or just jump around for no reason, and it's the worst. I didn't have those issues from the LG K7, but the K10 is horrible when it comes to that. I purchased 1 on 09/17, and by 09/28, I replaced it 2 times due to being faulty. I can't stand that phone, and want to go back to the K7 so bad, but have to pay the full price for it. I will eventually give up on the K10 if the other 1 is messed up. This is madness. I don't want to sound entitled or anything, but that phone isn't that good.

There is No solution ... it can be done or at least improved via Software Update from LG or developers in feature but atm no solution ... some people told here using original's LG cover for k10 will fix this problem do you try this solution ? The waking phone problem related to light sensor CANNOT be fixed with setting contrast to 'Auto'. Try covering the sensor with a finger and then wake the phone up either with power button or double tapping. It fails! It also goes dark on phone calls, like I already put the phone to my ear. After ending the call, it still stays dark, until I expicitely wake it with power button, in order to tap 'End call'. So, this is either faulty sensor or buggy software. Still searching a solution.

Wake function isn't controlled by proximity sensor even if you have the cover. It's related with the magnetic field sensor.

round magnet of the bundlcase touches the left middle part of the screen. if u have one magnettry verifying with some. I dont have a magnet on hand, except for the bundled phone case with a magnet on it that seems to make the difference worth it.

I think there are two sensors side-by side. Proximity and light sensor. So yes its affecting the standby, and wake function of the phone.

Hi to all the people having issues unlocking phone with power button i think i have a solution. My phone was doing same thing, it would lock fine but wouldn't wake when i pressed power button. I came here to see if other ppl had the problem and if any solutiob and one post got my interest that it might have to do with the light sensor, which i had partially suspected. So i dug around in the settings but didnt find anything that specifically mentions thw light sensor. But i kept looking and finally i think i found it. I went to Settings> display and right under the brightness bar, i deselectes the "auto brightness" setting which adjusts the light based on your surroundings, which has to be usinf the light sensor. It working so far. Tried locking/unlocking over and over amd havent had the issue once. I will post back to update, hope this works for everyone else

I purchased this phone last week. I returned back to the store 3 different times with problems on the same day. Phone doesn't come on unless direct light is on it' in other words light sensitive. Drops calls in mid conversation and there is no light indicators to inform you of missed calls or messages you have to turn your phone on when you can, to check and see if you have messages or missed calls. When I asked could I return it I was told no. When the employee knew I had problems from day one. I am informing BBB. It's just not right.

just bought mine yesterday, it was good so far, i am satisfied. the camera isn't so good, but it is so fine consider to it price. the battery life isn't a issue for me, i charge it at the morning, use it for browsing, chatting and play some games for a while, and now, at the afternoon it still have 76% left. never got any lag also.

So, this is a cheap phone and you get what you pay for. Now, this is a obviously no iPhone. The materials are cheap and fragile, but it's not a slow phone. I've had cheap phones all my life and this is the best cheap phone I've had. The camera is better than other phones I've had and I haven't had any problems with memory. My only wish is that the phone quality wasn't so shitty. It cuts off a lot and sometimes I can't even make a phone call, not because of service on my phone or the other phone. I'm not really sure why this happens, but this is the only phone I've had this problem with. If you have a low budget, you're okay with a mediocre camera, and calling isn't your main form of communication, I'd recommend the LGK10.

I have the same problem and just bought the phone two days ago. Ive come to the conclusion it is light sensored. When light reaches it, it turns on. When there isnt enough light, the power button simpy doesnt work. At night i literally have to flash a flashlight towards the sensor for the power butfon to work. Im attempting to figure out how to take it off in settings but havent had any luck.

Have you seen the sensor? take a light on the front camera, you'll see it there. if sometime again the lock button and knock not functioning, try to cover the sensor in 5 seconds then after you do it. It will be funtioned back

This phone is really great. But there is still a problem the battery 2300mah is not enough for the specs, the fonts also strictly for Lg World only cannot uses downloads on playstore. Also when we use data connection although it's LTE, the indicator doesn't appear. It's not fast charger and via OTG, and To be honest the surface really good its really handy, the capture of the camera clear and nice auto and touch to focus , call quality very good and the mic. The sounds really loud unlike other phones. Thank you!

My K10 is great, but it has an irritating issue. Sometimes the power button doesn't work to bring the screen back to light, and the knock-on won't wake the phone either. I have to wait until I receive a message or call, plug or unplug the phone, or remove the battery and restart the phone to resolve the issue. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

My LGk10 is 3months old. But having problem with the lock screen. It doesn't open from being locked. I tried using pattern, pin lock and no lock (swipe to unlock) but still the response is slow. I have to press the lock button or cover it again, then open to unlock. I am missing calls most of the time because I cannot answer immediately even there is an incoming call. The K10 cost £75/$100 even though the LG is a nice phone, decent spec all around, you just can not compare it to the SGS7, it's from another planet and from the future. I bought this phone from LG Direct Shoppe online. I was looking for various phones and evaluating them when my Samsung S7 Edge failed twice (Dead on Arrival) then I decided to ditch Samsung permanently from my Life, and started to look other options. I looked these Chinese phones and one Branded Phone a. Xiaomi MI b. Lenovo c. One Plus 3 d. Oppo. e. Sony Xperia (Branded) LG was not in my mind and never evaluated it until some reviews caught my eyes on GSM arena and then immediately went to check this phone and with First Look felt amazed and excited and after playing with this phone for some time, decided to order it. The first thing what I consider when I buy a phone is 1. Its performance 2. It’s after sales and Service Centres. The above mentioned Chinese phones does not have their own service centres (they are third party) and Sony has its own but Sony parts are very expensive (But phone is also good quality Xperia XA). Camera Quality is good in day light and night time quality suffers little bit but it’s not too worst. The K10 is ass. It works great at first but once a few apps have been put on & uninstalled it just develops a mind of its own. Been through 2 of them in 2 months & the same thing happens. It deletes apps by itself, the reception is shit, WiFi calling is a joke, & it overheats like no other phone. Piece of junk it is & dissapointed i am in LG.

Worst Phone EVER! Fills up the home screen with APPS and then you cannot double tap to turn off screen! Try to turn phone off and power button and volume button take screenshots instead, GOOGLE downloads ransomware, ( Like I was searching for an address on google, next thing boom Ransomware took over the phone demanding I pay them money) Tmobile now claims the $50 case they duped me in to buying is what is causing the speaker to not work. They also keep claiming I can't use WIFI and still use cellular for calls. Reception is so unreliable, that can't get 4g in my house with the tower 500 feet away. I have been using this phone K430N for a month and here are my impressions: -The device is really is nice-looking, with a reasonable screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass. It doesn't look like a low-end device. -It has a very good display. 720p is the right resolution for this kind f phone. 1080p would be overkill. Plus, it has good contrast and colors are fairly accurate. -Battery life is average, but acceptable. It can last for 1.5 or 2 days with moderate usage and up to half a day on heavy usage. Charge time sits between two and three hours. -CPU performance is good and the UI is decently smooth with some isolated lags. But 1 GB of RAM may be a drawback. Plus, it takes a while to apps to be installed/updated. -GPU is good por the price range and resolution. Casual games will run without hassle, but more demanding games will run with reduced graphics settings and lower fps, even at 720p. For example, I tried Angry Birds (casual) and Asphalt 8 (demanding) to test GPU performance. -Camera is superb outdoors. Daylight pictures ar rich in detail, with high contrast. On cloudy days though, pictures tend to be a bit darker. Indoor pictures don't have the level of detail of outdoors and could be very dark to be usable. On the other hand, in low light conditions, pictures appear blurry and poor on detail (due to the relatively narrow aperture). LED flash helps to save more detail. Front camera is very good outdoors with plenty of detail, but indoors or in low light conditions, pictures are blurry and unusable. Gesture shot works, but it takes a while to get the hang of it. Personally, gesture shot in Samsung phones works better (I owned Grand Prime and A5 (2015) and gesture shot in both of them worked like a charm). -Video quality is average but usable. -Audio quality is good, clean and crisp, but the volume levels are nothing special. In short, it's a good lower mid-range phone. It looks nice and peforms relatively nice. It will satisfy some users, but I reccomend to get the 2 GB version for those who like to multitask a lot. Other phone with similar price is the Moto G4. It's a bit pricier but you get a larger battery, 1080p display, a more powerful chipset, better camera and stock Android. There is also the Lenovo K5, which is somewhat similar to Moto G4 and at the same price, and the omnipresent Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Helio X10 version), which is a bit pricer but offers a lot more bang for the buck. The Galaxy J5 (2016) coulld be an option, with superior build quality, a marginally sharper screen and a larger battery. By the way, I got the Mediatek version with 1 GB of RAM and I pleased with it. Only hanged once, but never happened again.

Needed a replacement phone.... Made the mistake of buying an lgk10. No joke.. I walked out of the store after purchasing and the phone crashed 3 times. Been crashing and restarting several times a day every since. I use my phone for the GPS and am constantly having to stop on the side of the highway and wait to type in my next destination. Also it charges extremely slow. Don't buy this phone.... Sure it looks neat but don't be fooled.

I am a music lover myself,and i have over a 1000 in my phone.The music quality of the lg k10 is pretty good,sound is nice and clear with ample bass.The headset provided with the k10 sounds good,but it is very uncomfortable and doesn't fit properly,so i use the sony mdr as200 and the sony xb450,and it works well. As for other phones in this budget,lenovo k4 note has dolby atmos,but i previously had the lenovo k3 note with dolby audio previously,and the sound cracks.

I bought the indian version(k420ds) of the lg k10 about a month ago.It has 2gb ram,android 5.1 and snapdragon 410.So far,i have not faced any kind of overheating or crashing issues that many others have been going through.Overall,i'm very satisfied with the phone.Here are the pros and cons- PROS 1.very clear and crisp display. 2.battery life is very good.lasts upto 2 whole days with moderate usage(mostly music,mobile data and ebook reading).Most people say that it has a paltry battery of just 2300 mah.but the battery size is not a valid indicator of battery life,believe me. 3.multitasking is seamless,because of the light ui.You get around 1.4 gb of ram free. 4.front camera(5mp) is really good,back camera(13 mp) pretty average. 5.The phone looks amazing. 6.call volume is very loud and clear. 7.the power and volume buttons are placed in the back,and this is very convenient.You can take screenshots with one finger. 8.The quick view flip cover that you get with the phone is very handy since you can pick up calls,see notifications and switch it off without opening the flip cover. 9.quite customizable 10.slim and lightweight,textured back makes it easy to grip. CONS 1.sunlight legibility is not very good. 2.No equalizer.Music quality is strictly moderate.(can be fixed by installing equalizer fx from the playstore.) 3.About 1 week after buying the lg k10,i had to format and reset the phone because the network was disabled. 4.for people with small fingers,the back placed power button might be a problem. I have not had any other problems other than the whole network disable thing. I've had my K10 for 2 weeks and it's is a lot better than a Samsung Galaxy J7 that I did have. My battery heats up some but it depends on what I am doing. For the most part it just gets warm. It runs smooth, no trouble down loading from the Internet. This phone is good for someone who just surfs or talks. Time will tell in a few months if it is still running good. I've been told by a cellphone repair shop to only look at either LG or Samsung and not to mess with anyone else. And of course with mass manufacturering you always get bad ones. I've had my share of them in the past.

I purchased the LG K10 phone 3 days ago and have been having major problems that affect my not using it, for instance: It takes doesn't keep a charge for very long, an hour at the most between using the YouTube app(vids) & phone calls. It constantly is extremely hot to the touch accompanied with a message that warns overheating. When the phone is charging via my cigarette lighter port it can't charge because it's to hot and the same thing happens when I attempt charging it while plugged up inside my home(with charger that was included). When I returned the phone to the provider, Metro PCS(Toledo-Secor Rd. store)today/Monday, because they're closed on Sunday's, they insisted on ordering a replacement phone to which I have to wait, 3-5 days. They replaced the presumably, new battery to this phone with the display phone battery in hopes to rectify the overheating, but to no avail. The phone is almost useless to me. Fifteen minutes after they replaced my new battery with the display one the phone is still overheating. I called Metro PCS and told them I don't want this phone I'd rather by the more expensive phone, as I don't trust this one(due to the aforementioned issues, not to mention while on a Hangouts call the video screen turn went blank & displayed. pixilated) and don't I have faith in the replacement/same model that's currently on order. I was told that's not their process and to take one step at a time, to wait for the replacement and if that doesn't work out they'll consider contacting the district manager for my suggestion of buying a more expensive phone there, but I was told that in order to upgrade to the more expensive phone I wouldn't get it at the discounted upgrade price. I'm very disappointed and surprised at the service I'm receiving after receiving exceptional service every time I visit this particular store. Based on the current status, there is no way I would recommend this phone to anyone, not even to an enemy. They're unwillingness to take care of this problem phone that I've been dealing with since, this past Saturday, and an additional 3-5 days without knowing rather or not the same problem I'm having now, to say the least is uncalled for, during a time when people depend on mobile phones being that payphones are almost extinct. I'm a single female without an alternate phone hoping my car doesn't break down while this phone is overheating while on the automobile charger. Yes, it does not have quick charge feature. You have a choice to use other charger but take it to consideration the same amount of voltage so the battery won't be damaged

Awesome battery, gives me 4 to 6.5 hrs screen on time over wifi and on 20 to 40 percent brightness. Could last a day if youre not a heavy user. But the phone charges full in 3 hrs.

You have to deal with it. Most lg phones were designed with the buttons on the back. For me its easier to use because the only thing that was required to do it was your single index finger. You can do the screenshot with a single finger tbh. Try it. Its just the power button plus the volume down at the same time.

I like the actual inner-workings of the phone. Everything runs incredibly smoothly. The onlt two things I don't like is that this phone is MASSIVE unless you have ogre hands and this beast is SLIPPERY due to its glossy finish.

Not a bad cheep phone but some of the features are not well thought out. The volume and on off switch on the back is hard to use, as you can't see it. Screen capture is just a pain in the butt, if you have fingers bigger than a five year old. Another product that the design team should be forced to use for the rest of their lives to feel the frustration they push out on the world.

For the third time I guess ill be answering a problem like this again. So many complained about that here and I also experienced that on my k10. If you have the dual sim version you can check the mobile data settings and set only one network to be use for mobile data because it wont work at the same time. Then, check 'about phone' and go to the network (sim 1 or sim 2) which you set for mobile data connection, there you can see the status either disconnected or connected. The symbol h+ seldom appears but youre connected. Hope itll help you.

LG K10 is far more superior in terms of looks. G4 Plus looks very ugly. G4 Plus has a more impressive camera. Performance depends on what K10 you get. If it's the octa core MT6753 variant, performance is on par with G4 Plus. if its Snapdragon 410, G4 Plus is way more faster. However , G4 Plus has a heating issue LG K10 is available only with 2GB RAM while G4 Plus is available in 2 or 3. Moto G4 Plus has a larger Full HD screen. Assuming it's the same panel that Moto X play has, display will be better in G4 Plus. Although, I've found Moto's displays to come with a Colder color tone,causing eyestrain. G4 Plus has a fingerprint scanner but it is wrongly placed and looks ugly. G4 Plus lacks a Compass but has gyro, while K10 lacks gyro but has compass. Compass is more important than gyro if you ask me In the G4 Plus, the earpiece serves also as a loudspeaker. There is no separate loud speaker. Now the choice is yours. I'm happy with my K10.

I love this phone. It's another Snapdragon 410 midranger with no outstanding features or noteworthy changes to Android to make it a must buy, but LG has magic going on with it. Some key points: The speaker could have been placed in the front to go for a cool symmetrical design, but by god is the build quality top notch. The plastics are much more superior to the ones used in the J series,and the front glass is beautiful to look at. The back panel with the weave style texture gives it a pseudo rubbery feel, without meaning that it feels cheap. In fact it's one of the most solid midrangers I've ever used, offering no leeway to bend at all. All that really is wrong with the phone hardware wise is that the bezels could have been tinier. Remove the LG Logo up front, shave a few mm off the top and it could have been super compact for a 5.3 inch screen. But that's just being super nitpicky. First time LG User. Extremely surprised at LGs custom ROM, UX. It's lightweight, little to no bloatware, and I love all the pastel material design aesthetics. Completely different from Samsung's garish touch wiz UI. The screen is middle of the road 720p.Brightness under 100% is horrible, though that's due to the low saturation of colors. I kinda like that though, there is a stoic business like feel to everything going on with the low saturation colors for the UI.Regular video content and what not has proper colors though, so yeah. Camera is decent, and I'm surprised at how featureless it is. But it does it's job. Audio Quality is decent, as a media heavy user I am more then satisfied. Bass is pretty strong compared to what I have read. Maybe cause review units I have seen are using Mediatek and it's the Qualcomm giving it an edge? So yeah, it's nothing special, but it's the premium mid range choice imo. LG's button placement is still supreme,and the design and build quality alone places it above all. If you are all about ergonomics and want a phone that looks and feels good, want to spend a little amount of cash for something that works smoothly and can get a lot of internet usage in a day, buy it. Miles Ahead of the J series, Leagues ahead of the Moto G, and no China Phone rubbish can compete.
