I paid $175 for a Maxwest Astro 5.5, and after 2 years, the charge port stopped working. No store is able to fix it, and when I called Maxwest customer service, they said that they could not find my warranty. Waste of money!

I've been using the phone for only 4 months and I'm unable to send out text messages.

I bought a gravity 5.5 after five months it started to act a fool.the phone calls people out of the blue.if I receive a call when I'm touching the screen the phone will freeze up on me. I also was having a problem with the phone restarting every ten minutes. I contacted customer service and the warranty department they told me to send the phone back for repairs.you have to go through the most craziest process to send it back. I thought I was getting my phone back but they gave me a new one it worked fine for a few days and then all hell broke loose.it was worse than my other phone. I tried to contact the warranty department but I didn't get a response so I was stuck with the phone. I believe they gave me a refurbished phone. The company sucks won't get any more of my money.

So I got the phone a bit back and everything seemed fine I had no complaints until it started glitching on me like the hone buttons wouldn't work at all, so I sent the phone back to the company for repairs, it took a week and they said it was some kind of phone error got the phone back and once again everything was fine then recently the letters and apps start scrolling and freezing up Idk please someone help I don't want to have to send it back again

I bought a maxwest gravity 5. Only to have to continually restarting my cell at least twice daily. But my issue is having my screen literally peeling off from the cellphone. I called the 1-800 number only to get an automated response to email them, I called them numerous times to actually try and get the correct email address only to have that as a none email address. So very aggravating.

By far the worst phone I ever owned. The internal memory sucks and can't download many apps even with SD card. Runs really slow and freezes up. I have to restart it several times a day. Stopped working after a month of use, sent it back to manufacture whom stated it was a software issue. Reactivated only to experience no better performance and a cracked screen just buy taking off back cover. A waste of money and I will never recommend to anyone nor purchase another phone from them ever!

Hi guys I just bought one but it's so slow!!! it doesn't even get to upload pictures, can you imagine open videos on You Tube? It takes a life to open websites and most of the time doesn't event get to do that. It can't recognize my location, nor update that. I bought in usa and I m now in Italy and it's still in the usa. I put my italian sim on it and it works with 2g only, not 4g!!! I can't use it like this, what can I do? Thanks

alright so i have hands on experience with this device so hey theres a reason maxwest posted the astro 5.5 rom and firmware to download... this phone is really excelent but i think i found the solution for the issues your all having. what is required here is for you all to re flash the rom it came with to the device. it solved my issues since it has its own backup software that can back up the phone itself along with settings and data. so i just restored everything as soon as the device was flashed back to stock and MAGIC! it works a charm. ill re check on here to see if you have any questions about it or if you need help.

okay so I brought that maxwest, and it was hell for me mostly the reason was the phone is not 4g when on the box it said it was and I am like okay I guess its my phone company so I went and go check every other phone company and they all put there chip still say E connecting G or H and idk what those mean, that dam phone would not go to 4g no matter what, and I feel like it was a scam, I didn't have it for even a month and I had to change it because it was so slow, the fone is a nice fone its just so slow even on Wi-Fi. I just wish I didn't have to drop 300 sum dollar in another phone when what I have for perfectly fine just the connecting

It has 4gb internal memory and 1gb ram, I can't download anything even with a memory card, someone help please.

Really nice phone, big just what I need with my bad eyes and looks great, however, 3 days after I bought it I dropped it and broke the screen; can't find anyone to repair it. I would love to have it repaired, would hate to go back to all those big name brands.

My husband also replaced two of his phone with the Gravity 5.5 because it's dual sim. It's light weight and thin. I got it from yippz they shipped it to us so fast. This phone has more to it then a brand name and cheaper!

Bought one for my mom to replace her 2 phones. Why not one huge one that's twice the size right? Lol jk. It's quite a well built phone. Its got a metal frame with glass, capacitive screen and plastic back. The screen is 200ppi which is ok unless you're holding it close to your face which is unnecessary with such a large bright screen. The processing power is sufficient and Kitkat runs pretty smoothly. Stereo speakers have great quality. Its head and shoulders above phones in the same price range. The glass screen on the Gravity 5.5" felt thicker than the one on the 6". All in all a strong 7:10
