  • its an oldskoll phone.. but i just bought it because of the size and i can easily bring it to exam hall without anyone knowing it....

  • it can't record video... as for bluetooth..it does faces some bluetooth problems like cutting the receiving process from a certain device ..that's all I know from my experience... what I want to know is that am I able to find a 1 GB mini SD for this phone? as a replacement for the old one?

  • I have been using this phone since 2008 and I bought it from someone i know who works in the factory in Ipoh. THis phone is good especially if your going to hide it in your pocket but the thing is this piece of device lags and the screen jamm's. Not only that you would need to knock it hard for it to work...for 5 seconds. Rubbish phone

  • i have 1,,very proud of this phone coz nobody know about this phone in my college,, :)

  • let say i want give all my worker 1 phone as company phone. so that i can track what ever they try to do

  • If you're saying that technology matters and miniature phones is obsolete nowadays, thinking it's better to buy Nokia low end phones. The greatness of this phone is simple: small size, practical and uncommon. You can easily buy and use Nokia phones - common. This phone is a crap that's VALUABLE and RARE in the future. Think twice.

  • simple phone, who does use WM phone, should hasn't any issues to use or sync. my use work very well compare to other cheap2 phone(below RM200).. best thing, not to worry being robbed or miss a part as i hang on my neck without notice there is a phone...hahahaha.. bought this RM200...really worth it..work well with WM active sync..

  • yea bro..dis is my best phone ever...u shoul try it 1st..cheap n very stylish...

  • watahek.. ppl still posting about this phone? It already 4 yrs.. and I still can see some ppl saying "this is my best phone ever".. wtf.. grow up dude.. and some1 still asking how to watch video.. how to do this and that.. open up ur eyes and smell the carcass.. wtf... leave it and get a low cost touchscreen phone such as samsung gio/fit/ace or htc diamond (at least much cheaper eventho it already obsolete.. it is way better than this.. if u are so stingy and still trapped in year 2007!! this phone is equally@worst than samsung champ which only cost 30 bucks or rm150.. if we were in 2007.. yes it was one of the coolest phone. now the technology are already surpassed this puny phone.. this phone already R.I.P

  • buy a nokia N8 dude...its the best...trust me...!!

  • you should upgrade firmware, it's will be function as normal

  • hai... jz ask my fren jason.. he aso use tat fon. 60165685088 tq...

  • Did u change the memory card? If u did u shud hv installed neno onto it before putting that in ur phone. Neonode is/was the only company that stored the os on the sd card. U can find the os on ur old memory card or from neonodes website. Just click on looking for n2 at bottom right. Download the file u need to ur computer and then connect the phone by USB. Click the installer and the rest is easy. If u did not put a new sd card in, repeat the process above. When I did it a backup was not needed but I wud still recommend u to backup important files. Good luck and tell me how it goes. If u can't fix it pls describe the problem in more detail. Hope I helped pHone

  • where i wAnt TO buY thIs pHonE iN KEDah..spECiaLly iN aLor SEtaR..

  • How to format N2, coz my N2 r not function...i don't now why..

  • neonode had mentioned that n2 wud not sync with a mac, however, they also said it acts like a usb flash drive when it is turned off. did u try sync it when the phone was turned off? u mite wna get a usb to sd card adapter. remove the sd card from the phone and then connect it to the comupter that way. but even then idk if it will work bcos the windows os is installed on the sd card. tell me how it goes if ur willing to buy a sd card to usb adapter. pHone

  • hi i have a neonode N2 for a year now. still trying to find a way to make it communicate with my mac. any ideas how i can make it communicate to the mac via usb? i've also tried downloading an obex for mac to communicate via bluetooth. doesnt work either.

  • Hiii!! I just bought tis phone like...a month ago. It became 1 of my very favorite phone as for now..after my tinie minie Panasonic GD55 last time. For a few days U will have some problrm to get use to it (the sweep thingy), because its very small compare to other smart phone. But trust me, after a few days u will get use to it..And u will definitely fall in love with it..even easier than phone with keypad..(^_^)

  • the expensive prices u r seeing r the v old prices (when it 1st came out in 2007) or ppl trying to scam u. its actually v cheap for an unlocked touchscreen phone. this site has a few links to ebay. dont get any accessories for this phone. u dont need them. hope that helps, pHone

  • standby (optimal conditions) - about 6 days, maybe a week if u hv a fairly new battery (dont forget these came out in early 2007) moderate use - about 3 - 5 days. this depends on a lot of factors. how many phone calls u make, msging... i do about 10-15 mins a day and 15-20 txt msgs. there r a few major factors that drain the battery tho. 1st is if this phone cannot get a signal and it keeps looking for 1. this drains it a lot faster than when it is connected. another drain is haptic feedback. u dont rly need it but i keep mine on lvl5. this takes up energy and u cud turn it off to save energy. i hv med display brightness. this phone can get brighter under strong light so medium settings r fine. i dont play any games on this. games will drain the battery very quickly and the gaming experience for the most part has been poor. listening to music - i use the headphones supplied and this can probably run for pretty much the whole day. i did not listen to music the whole day so im not certain. as long as the display is off, it is either connected to a network or set to flight mode, the battery lasts a decent amount of time. if u want a phone with an outstanding battery life u need to look at philips phones. if u r planing on buying this ur probably the kind of person who wants to stand out from the crowd. u shud be good with technology bcos even tho its a v basic phone, it has a v steep learning curve. also the os is stored on the sd card inside. to upgrade to another sd card u need to reinstall the os on the sd card. this is running a highly skinned version of windows ce. u wont notice it as windows except for syncing. syncing with mac is not possible. a few specs that were ignored was that this has about 64mb ram, no rom (its the sd card), and a 128mhz cpu. i was shocked to learn this bcos it runs rly smoothly and multitasking is incredibly easy, with no lag. the v few apps that it supports load fairly quick. furthermore, u must not be the kind of person that wants the newest technology. this phone was outdated the day it was released. all except 4 1 component and that is the touchscreen. it is the only company to hv ever used an optical touchscreen on a phone and idk y. optical is the best type of touchscreen ever put on a phone(i cud go into more depth if u want). it is more responsive than the capacitive touchscreens which r now bcoming comon. the 1st phone with a capacitive touchscreen was lg prada, followed shortly by the apple iphone and now almost all android phones hv it. while the hardware is multitouch capable, this phone doesnt support it. it was released before about 1/2 a yr b4 the first iphone. the company went bankrupt b4 they had a chance to update the os to support multitouch. it was rumored that neonode n3, which was being tested had multitouch. the last phone they demoed was the neonode n2.5 which was like this but with a much bigger battery, more chunky and futuristic design, aimed at the american markets. RIP neonode

  • cooooooooooooooooooool phone but 2 much wat do think i am george washington

  • what is cg forum , get me the link

  • RM 200? Check CG Forum

  • Hi ,so where to buy it ? for RM200 ?

  • how many days lasts the battery without charging ?

  • i dont remember the websites. but the v few games that r compatible just dont work well. most of the time u need to use the d pad but u cant push it straight down so the only way to select an option is to touch the screen. and bcos the resolution and screen is so small, u usually miss what u were trying to tap. its ok at games that just require a 4 way d pad, but the graphics r like those v old arcade games and usually they r demos or they get boring rly fast. this phone is terrible for gaming. anyway, u need a .cab file for the resolution. 176x220. if u want write down an email and i will send u a few games. but trust me, its not worth it. pHone

  • u can upgrade to 32gb sd cards. but what u might not be aware of is that the entire os is stored on whatever sd card it is using. originally i believe it was intended for ppl who wanted to run different oses off of the device but it nvr progressed to that extent bcos of the limited developers and very limited budget. anyway wat u shud do is go to neonodes website. find the n2 link at the botton right. then go to download latest software. connect the phone to ur computer by the usb cable. install the os onto the sd card that is already in the phone and then it shud work fine. hope i helped pHone

  • can any one tell me how to get N2 games?? where??

  • The official Neonode site provides no more updates. I have installed the latest firmware version (2.1.552.5) on mine, but what about future updates? if the answer is that Neonode has bankrupt, that not enough of an answer. --> what more do u want? they updated the software many times and one of the reasons they went bankrupt was bcos of an update which supposedly prevented reception and then there was a recall. they updated their software much more than nokia has. also its been a while since they stopped selling the device. its no longer covered under its warranty so there is no point in supporting it any further. "They should provide further support. Furthermore, what about all those people that are willing to buy N2 in the future? They won't be able to apply the latest version..." -->anyone can update their phone since the download for 2.1.552.5 is still on their website (just harder to find now). another reason neonode went bankrupt was bcos they tried to expand too fast and ran out of money. hv u seen the neonode n2.5 prototype? that had a new os and longer battery life. neonode put a lot of money into developing their products. they still remain the only phone company to hv used optical touchscreen on a phone and thats what u pay for when u get a neonode. a unique product with great technology (even if it is now outdated) pHone

  • install microsoft activesync 4.5

  • i've bought it..they are very cheap..i can get it about Rm200..

  • well, in simple language, the memory card also contains neno, you'll need that to run the phone. win ce is the os but the running needs neno. cant use empty mem card for that

  • can this phone card slot upgrade to 8GB? i have tried, but it become blank then turn off~can somebody tell me how to fix about this?

  • where can i buy, pls contact me [email protected]

  • you can easily find this phone in Malaysia..where it was made...very cheap here...try surf mudah.com.my...some would sell it it just RM220.00...

  • u can get an unopened/brand new one from amazon.de for 72.50 (= $98, not including shipping) site:

  • Hi......I am searching to buy a Neonode2. Have had two of them and I am really hooked on this phone. The price to buy one in Norway is too high and I wondered if anyone could give me a hint where to find one at a good price!! Thanks

  • u can get an unopened/brand new one from amazon.de for 72.50 (= $98, not including shipping) or even 52.50 (depending on the credit card u use =$71) site: but there are a few ppl who wud not like this phone. if ur sister does txt a lot, browse internet on phones a lot, wants an easy-to-use phone, wants the newest/hi tech, or needs spare parts (such as adapters, batteries, cables, or even wants a car charger) this is probably not for her. pHone

  • really? where did you see it?

  • in malaysia n2 is seling @ rm280 including postage nationwide, outside malaysia u have check the rates

  • Nice phone with touch screen. So far i had bought only rm280=us$80 with new in the box.

  • Here you find one used good condition N2

  • the reason its so hard to find 1 is cos the part of neonode that makes phones went bankrupt. they still put their great touchscreen technology on some products tho. u can get an unopened and brand new neonode n2 from amazon.de for under 100. which is very cheap for a new and unlocked phone. however, u dont get any warranty and finding spare parts is very hard. also u must watch some videos to find out how this phone works or maybe even read the manual. if u hv any questions tho, id be happy to help. pHone

  • Could anyone tell me where i could still get a Neonode N2 i've looked everywhere but can't find one pleaseeeee

  • thanx man..it works.. must turn off the phone 1st before connect to the pc...weird though...

  • 1. do menu sweep 2. tab sweep /change view sweep (sweep at top) 3. choose music (the music player) 4. scroll to playlists and tap it 5. settings sweep 6. tab sweep so u now see a button saying "new" 7. tap "new" icon/button 8. scroll to tracks and tap it 9. select the tracks from the list 10. confirm /yes sweep wen ur done choosing 11. name the playlist ur done. now u shud be able to scroll thru tracks of this playlist by sweeping horizontally along the album art (or where album art shud be). hope this works 4 u. pHone

  • themes:

  • idk where the contacts r stored but u cud transfer them to ur sim card and then put that in another phone if thats wat u wna do with ur contacts. to do this: menu sweep -> contacts -> settings sweep -> tab sweep (at the top) -> export to sim. then wenevr u put that sim in another phone u shud hv ur contacts automatically. pHone

  • 1 hvnt had that problem. but u cud try to make the auto screen lock longer if it gets locked during a file transfer maybe it stops sending/receiving data. idk iv nvr had this problem. 2 it connects fine to a windows computer. do u use mac? cos it says on neonode's website it doesnt support mac. u cud try connecting it when the phone is turned off. in this case, it shud behave like a regular memory card/stick. if it still doesnt work, ur cable might be faulty and u cud try to buy a new 1, or try connecting to ur pc using bluetooth. i hope i helped pHone

  • hv u experienced battery issues, cos maybe ur battery is faulty and needs replacing. pHone

  • hello, i'have had this phone for almost 3 years, and is the best. on gact i own 2!!! but can anyone tell where are the contacts stored on the SD vard? and how i can access them ? anybody wanting themes, go to neno-art.org. tks

  • ahh...another one...almost forgot..hehe 3. the file cant be transfered within memory itself. eg: mp3 files in SHARED FOLDER cant be moved to MUSIC FOLDER.

  • one week playing with this thing...the problems: 1. bluetooth always stop its connection in the middle of files transfer. have to repeat it until success. 2. cant connect to pc. wonder why they gave the usb cable if cant connect to pc. were there any installer must be install 1st? if anyone can do the connection, deny my statement above. cheers. the rest of the function is acceptable for me.still it value for my cents.

  • hey matthew..if u get it..could u email it to me as [email protected] :)

  • who know where can download themes for neonode n2........plz give me the link to my msn or [email protected]

  • i cant seem to add playlist into my musicplayer...it only plays one trck at a time.how do i add tracks into my playlist ?

  • my neonode is always getting very hot when charging it & hangs when switch on it really giving me a lots of troubles. so, what should i do to resolve such problems?

  • this is an awesome phone no doubt value for money..this company has not gone bankrupt at all! this phone has some ericsson technology inside and suprisingly its advanced and reliable!

  • thats in the settings. u can change it.

  • My N2 always self auto off do you know why?

  • idk wat ur talking about. what is hp? the computer company? im guessing handheld phone. neonode ab went bankrupt which means they r not gna make any more phones and they r not making the n2 anymore. neonode now just focuses on providing optical touchscreens to other products and its a shame that other products dont use optical touchscreens cos its the best touchscreen technology: - its as cheap as resistive (capacitive costs about 2x-4x as much!) - it can be more responsive than capacitive! (resistive is far less responsive) - supports multitouch (resistive doesnt, capacitive does) - can also be used as an ambient light sensor for display brightness (neither resistive nor capacitive can and require an additional sensor for this) - can easily expand to any screen size, idk y neonode kept their phones so small (resistive works better on larger screens, capacitive become too expensive on large screens) - can be used with anything (stylus, fingers, gloves...) (resistive can also but its not as responsive and capacitive only allows current conducting materials: fingers) - doesnt reduce the quality of the display (resistive for example uses several cheap plastic layers which scratch easily and make colors appear more faded especially under sunlight. capacitive also uses layers with electricity passing thru, but the quality of the display is not noticeably worsened by this) - detects motion/movements along the screen far better/faster than capacitive and resistive - all parts of the screen r equally responsive, (resistive for instance has the most responsive part in the middle since that is where the plastic bends the easiest. this makes touching corners and edges more difficult, especially if recessed. that is unfortunate since the options/menu/exit... r usually located at the edges/corners. also the smaller the resistive touchscreen, the harder for the plastic to bend as much so less responsive, or cheaper and more easily scratched. capacitive r also equally responsive around the screen) - can detect the center of the touch using algorithms resulting in far more accuracy. (resistive responds to the area with the most pressure and capacitive responds to where u 1st touched it and since it doesnt respond to nails, finding the center of the touch is pointless) - low power consumption (much less than capacitive, and resistive is also fairly close) - can be made v durable (especially if u consider resistive, capacitive is also fairly durable but when the screen cracks it wont work as well, this will) - calibration is not needed (resistive might require this from time to time on a large screen, idk about capacitive, probably eventually) - optical allows a thinner profile than resistive and optical - optical allows far more light transmittance than capacitive and resistive (so u can hv brighter screens) im rly disappointed that more phones dont use optical.

  • This hp is sold for no more than USD60 in my country ... It's a Malaysian made phone with partner from overseas ( 1 of the European hp manufacturer , not 2 sure ) . . . Overall , its a value for money compared to other China-made or CSL ( another local brand ) phones . Dun expect 2 much of technology stuff in it as its already 3 yr old but 3 yrs ago , its a "wow" factor . Rumours has it the partner pulled out , therefore , no more new model after N2 but the current company is still around 2 produce N2 and for service ..

  • dude, its 3 years old...

  • RIP Neonode shame, they were working on the n3 and n2.5(for US) when they declared bankruptcy. 1 of d few phone companies that was innovative. they were the 1st to use the flick finger to scroll thru menus and 1 of d 1st who saw the potential of touchscreen phones.

  • this company...bankrupted???

  • Im philipinos and just got a look at this "thing". My goodness, what the heck is this? where is from? it's swedish isn't it? NO 3G? NO EDGE? NO Wlan? NO Video Call? This is basically a touch screen phone with camera. that's all? even the website is poor (http://www.neonode.com/). might as well buy cheapest set from other brands. dudeeee... huh?!?

  • I recently bought a Neonode N2 brand new from www.tecnoboutique.com It only costed me 175 . Around 200 usd. Its really an amazing phone, quite small, the response of the screen is very fast and the software very fast too ( it just took 4 seconds to transfer my 175 contacts from the SIM card to the memory of the phone )

  • I've had the Neonode N2 for about a year and I absolutely LOVE it! A few days ago, a problem sending SMS started, it can send and receive fine, but every single time I send an SMS message, I get a window that pops up saying: Fatal Application Error Application Messaging.exe has performed an ilegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor. If anyone has seen this, and/or has any ideas on how to fix it, please let me know! [email protected] Thank you!

  • I do need to know about the security features. do this phone has application locking e.g pasword protected for different applications(sms/call records/sd card etc.)

  • Hi Gemma, all you need to do is type the word with predictive once you have done this it should still be highlighted (do not press button for space cuze this will unhighlight it), then you should see an option to swipe up in the middle of the screen and it gives you a selection of other words, But if its not there you can scroll all the way down to the bottom and and click on spell then you can add the word you are trying to add ( doing this will save the word you add to the phones predictive text library). I have the latest version of the firmware on my SD card so I don't know if this is the same for all the earlyer versions. Good lick and I hope this helped :-)

  • Does anyone knows whether this phone can sync with pc? esp the sms and contacts back up to pc?

Faster then on any other phone in my opinion. Very innovative (Still today in 2009), very sleek design, great camera (It's a Samsung camera btw.) This is the best phone I've ever had. For me, it's perfect. Too bad they're bankrupt though :P

  • Lol... bankrupt...

  • 32GB

  • NOOOO! neonode filed 4 bankruptcy does this mean i cant buy the n2 eventhough it is still up for sale on their site?

  • how match memory capasity has neonode n2?

  • Love Ne-no, ne-no, so good they named it twice. My dinky-funky-chunkey-monkey! Just bought the N2; unlike some reviewers I found it very intuitive and a simple infra-red pleasure. Phone is tiny at 60g but screen is clear enough (not as clear as my 3.8 HTC Touch HD) but good enough considering what it can do, smartly running windows. I just swap my SIM and 16gb micro SD (you need an adaptor as the N2 is Mini) from one phone to the other and have the best of both worlds, both sync wonderfully with my XPS M2010 - like my mate says 'you gotta Megaphone and a Microphone'!! tee-hee! NeoN2, smaller than a credit card on a big diet, much better design than the N1 and especially the N2.5, which looks an unmitigated disaster, fatter than a fat thing on a pig diet! My only beef would be the pair of holey-moleys at the bottom - what they for, I already got two holey-moleys! Sum up: Good: Tiny, runs windows, feature rich, t'internet, calendar, takes decent pics, tiny, feels good in the hand(!), well constructed, intuitive, good menus and in-lug phones, clear calls, enjoy up to 32gb of memory, tiny, cool&doody to take to the pub, people marvel at it - you know - walking into lamposts with their mouths open, oh yes, and it's tiny! Bad: The two holes in the bottom - Neonode could have made the phone 10mm shorter and 10g lighter if they had cut them out -there is no gubbins inside the bottom piece apart from the joy(less)stick, which you never need to use. Conclusion: Buy one and smiiiile!!

  • dear all,,,, i know all about neonode n2 .....because its manufactured n my company.....we have done many r&d on this project ..... but now its produxtion has stopped ......F U I .....there are 17000 phone are there in our store ......but neonode people dont want ,,,,now the company is going sell but nobody needs....after that they planned to give this phone to all employs free but our strengt is 2500 .....still lot of mobile pending ,,,,i dont know why they dont wat this phone......

  • iudidaofb akjoiqwurb hiqyweoiry qiuqweo n jiioe .

  • does anyone know how the video N2 plays compare to N1m?

  • N3? It gets referred to as N2.5 on most forums. But to be frank, if looks is the issue, I'd prefer N2. N1 looked like a Samsung D500 or D600 in their folded version. But the Memory card support on N2 is just amazing. Now it's just to see if it can really use the big cards. A 16GB MicroSD in a MicroSD to MiniSD converter seems to be the solution. This is where most new phones choke(i.e. LG Viewty, could use 8 GB , but all above 2 GB is just a horrible user experience in speed), too slow memory card navigation on big cards with lots of small files. Now, the N2.5 was confirmed from Neonode officials to be a concept. Interesting to see the concept was out in January 2008, ad still hasn't surfaced in the market.

  • This phone looks nice. I love it!!! If the N3 has 3G then I would definitely buy it because that's the only one missing.

  • wonder wen they will release n3. some rumors say they already hv a far better operating system for it and i wud like to c wat they cud do with an impresive spec list and even gr8er OS

  • What kind of this phone no wlam no 3g and edge people must vote for htc dia or sam i900

  • Does it have bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 ?

  • WOW! i want one, i love it.

  • why dont they sell this here in the philippines... i would like to have this since the day i saw it's hands on preview.. seems interesting.... they dont even ship it here in the philippines... been through their site.. it is available for USD 460... only wished they would ship it here...

  • i love this phone!!! I was a little of a skeptic at first due to its toy like looks and the phone i received had a defective mini sd(which i was going to upgrade the card anyway)I bought a 4gig and the phone works really well. It has superior call quality. The mp3 function is so easy to work. The only issue is the use of gprs instead of edge or 3g, but since I have another phone with 3g im not to upset. Great set well worth the price.

  • This is the perfect size to stay with you 24/7. All the other phones I leave behind for one reason or another.

  • can this phone take mxit?

  • can this phone take mxit?

  • After you get used to the N2 for a little while you will not be able to use any other phone. I love the N2 with passion. Its intuitive touch is amazing. I can send SMS messages with the N2 faster than any other brand. And the size is incredibly magnificent. The N2 software is updatable which is a PLUS PLUS. Two thumbs up for Neonode. Keep up the good work :)

  • I like the N2, it's main feature as a phone is what I like best and after that the size is perfect for use anywhere. I'd like to touch up the photos on it but hey let's leave that to the laptop. Looking forward to the next release.

  • This phone is inferior compare to other phones currently in the market in terms of functionalities and useability. With Neonode N2 overpriced and yesterday's features, it is actually twice as useless phone. Stay away from it unless you are antique collector.

  • @Moe ever heard of a thing called manufacturer's warranty? it is mandatory, so use it and complain until they fix it. unless you dropped it or something like that.

  • I've had the N2 for about 5 months. all the sudden it stopped working. and Now its gonna cost me the price of a new phone to be able to fix it. So I paid loads of money and didn't get to use it for long. It's Definitly a waste of money

  • The equipment is SIMPLY BRILLIANT as for appearance and functionality. But lamentably it has a point in against, seemingly it does not work well in all the frequencies that are indicated, I have sent this problem constant to the support of the mark and still the problem persists.

  • omg i just saw the upcoming neonode n2.5. believe me this could be the best phone in the world but nothing merits how FAT this is..... lets not forget how ugly it is...

  • Bought the N2 a few days. The first few hours were kind of frustrating, once I got the intuitive touch screen sweeps sorted out I never looked back! If you "must have" wifi, 3G/UMTS, vid capture etc. look for something else. If you want a phone that is easy to use, good to look at, has all the standard applications this is it. I've yet to have a "bad quality" phone call with my N2. I'm hooked :)

  • i was considering getting this until i heard theres going to be a n2.5 which will hv better features. but i have seen the neonode n2.5 and it is very ugly. it is the fattest phone neonode have made and it has a wierd greenish line around it. the screen size is still small but the part under it has been stretched (even though there r no buttons there) making the screen seem even smaller. i hate the way it looks. unless they change it there is no way ill even consider it.

  • wait for the neonode n2.5 tee hee hee hee. its going to feature a better battery, 3G data, AND A2DP enable Bluetooth 2.1 (yes, 2.1)

  • Does this phone support email? it seems strange that I cannot find the answer to this question anywhere.

  • wonderful!! love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • worst ever.. crappy phone.. how could they relize that one.. the button is worthless, and the phone too... dont buy it..

  • the worst mob if can be told like this, ever

  • dis is d worst ever fone made in other words {chutiya}

  • this is a great SMALLLL phone. If yoy want great pictures buy a mega pixell digital camera. If yoy want 4GB memory for music buy a I POD. Thanks for your time. ACHILLEAS ATHENS GREECE.

  • @nenad its around $606 and u can buy it from neonode.com

  • This is very great, I got it, and I cannot help surprising myself

  • the OS is called neno and its greatly handy

  • Which OS for N2 ?

  • what is picture quality like on this phone cos it has low resolution, and just 65k colors. yet when u shrink an image (and this has a small screen) this usually avoids the picture being pixelated and can sometimes be sharper than the actual image. i am considering buying this phone but could some ppl say why/why not to buy it? thnx

  • I'm really considering getting this phone rather soon, the only thing that makes me think twice is the fact that its bluetooth connectivity does not inlcude the A2DP profile, in other words, you can only transfer files and and use a wireless head set (mono sound) and stuff, but you can't listen to music in STEREO wirelessly through bluetooth stereo headphones, and this is something I was truly looking forward in a phone like this. Customer Service already confirmed that this support Bluetooth Version 1. :-(

  • @ constantinos yeah u can send files by bluetooth. in fact it has a very good bluetooth ive heard. it asks u for a connection code and everytime u get near that device it will automatically detect and connect to it without u hving to search for it. all the memory is stored on minisd cards (1gb card comes with the phone) and i believe it is expandable up to 4gb minisdhc, from an email i got (altho their website says 32gb minisdhc, i wouldnt risk it)

  • M{07: I also had the same question about the maximum card capacity. I contacted Customer Support by email and this is their response: Please know that with the latest update 2.1.290.6 from our website www.neonode.com you should be able to use mini SDHC Cards up to 4GB. However, we would like to advise you that we have only done limited testing with SDHC Cards so far.

  • what is the biggest memory card u can put in this phone? wherever i look there is no mention about the limit. surely there must be one since all neonodes previous models hv a limit.

  • Very interesting, but missing too many features I am already used to.

  • toy and nothing more....

  • good but could have beeen better

  • great phone...can anybody tell me if i can send music and pictures with bluetooth and when i receive something with bluetooth does it go on the memory card directly....help plsssssss thanks

  • I always welcome innovative designs and features. and in this sense, this gadget tops my list. I really liked its UI and design. But the handset needs to be updated with a large 2.6 or bigger 16 million color screen and loud in-built stereo speakers. Everything else is great. Its worth buying.

  • this ''phone'' is better than the iPhone

  • At least my Neonode N2 touch stoped operating under direct sunlight. When I put my hand in front of display it started to work again. Maybe there is something to do with the IR touch solution? IR LEDs oversaturation???

  • ouch! really nice but oh soooo expensive:

  • Hey Josh, Are you working for Neonode? Or you are their advertising agency? Come on guys, we need info from independent people. Which friends of your bought this Neonode? Names and emails to contact them, please directly. Also, can you please give us your IMEI numbers?

  • hey, i am not sure what you guys are talking. i got my phone last week. i had downloaded 200 songs,(more coming), upgrade the memory card to 4Gb, put in 12 movies (some up to 2 hours!), took more than 100 pictures, and all are clear and crisp. Of course, the phone works under the sunlight, and it plays great music, and me and my friends who bought all love it, and we cannot imagine going back to using Nokia, SE, Motorola or Samsung! I would suggest you visit Neonode website, and you can download 40 over pages of user's guide under the support menu. don't miss such a great experience with this wonderful phone, and i believe the 400euros is worth the natural user interface, just like why people pays so much for a ferrari, porsche or Lotus; not for the many features that you can find in Japanese cars, but the driving experience between the driver, the Start learning more, and you will enjoy it like the way me and my friends do. for the camera, you should take it using the plus side of the volume button to prevent shaking the phone if you use you finger on the screen during picture taking. Hurray, I got to go, my neonode is waiting for me!!!

  • what a sad phone maker company...

  • Its GPRS for the same amount of money you get other well known brands

  • How about the usability under direct sunlight? Is the touch still working in there?

  • Hey Katalin, Good luck with you. I had the same problem and I ended up having to live with it. But finally, I can not even see anything....it got worst. It is annoying but I thought since I got one of the 1st produce, it was only early examples. I can receive phonecalls but I do not know who is calling me !!!!!! Apparently not. Problem exist on many freshly production. No technician can fix it. Actually, any technician I took it, they just stare it. Spareparts not possible to find. I will NEVER buy any other mobile unless it has a name NOKIA, SonyEricsson or Samsung. Let others be the foolish ones. Really I was a Guinnea pig.

  • This must be a joke .......I got one of those in my hands and ...'no way Jose' I spend EUR400 for this joke. A company like Neonode started producing mobiles and expects people to be Guinnea pigs. It is very small but the feeling you get it is cheap. No 3G, horrible screen with only 65K and 2MPixel. Come on, if you want toys, go and get and Apple iphone or an Apple Touch for the same money. I would NOT even buy it for EURO 100 !!!

  • Ok i got the phone today, and belive me when i say i was delighted to see it, it is VERY small and very unique. The bad things i have to say about it, are : 1.the cover is horrible, its made of transparent plastic, looks very cheap, u don't have a manual, only 1-10 easy steps paper in it, charger and ear-phones. 2.i have a problem with my camera, it shows images blurry, and the colors all wrong, i have to call at technical suport to see whats going on, i think somethings wrong with it. Other than that, the phone is great, u just stare and stare at it , cant belive how small it is, and how interesting it is to interract with it.

  • so many questions. The site says 8 days standby battery life, but what about when playing media? Can it receive SMS text messages? How does one send SMS? How does one type URLs? Can I install Windows Mobile 5+ apps on it?

  • It's now for sale on Neonode.com

  • This site needs to be updated, it is available, and it's 298 thats 439 Euro. I've bought one already :)

  • its out as of today, 0900GMT. /fulo, do you have one? Are you able to confirm its poor battery life?

  • Can't help wondering if people now that no programs for winCE/mobile will work on this little beauty, and realize that it hasn't got JAVA, so the functions/programs described over here, is everything they'll ever have. And that the Swedish cellphone magazine "mobil" gave it a 46% score in their test. And that their last line was: "A phone that can handle simple use as making calls and sending texts relatively good, but with a batterylife thats under all criticism."

  • it cost 380.00 euro

  • nice phone!does somebody knows how will it cost in europe?i will buy it!!!

  • All this and the stock trades for under 5 bucks...for now... SBEI

  • Mate, Please make a video review in english on it !!!

  • Already tested it!Small, the touch screen works just fine, killer design. Youll love it!

  • does it records video in full screen ?

  • next week will be promoted in Greece.... i already have it.....its great phone also the video features is very good clear crystal camera

  • its a great phone i already tested (how i get the chance to test !scecret) i think it will be in the market soon the black color its cool but there are some more very attractive color coming soon. Unfortunely my country also can't get it.

  • from mobile-review: "Neonode announced it signed a distribution agreement with AEG Portuguesa S.A, the official supplier to TMN operator. Under the agreement, AEG will distribute the Neonode N2 in Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Angola and Cabo Verde.(...)Besides Neonode is finalizing distribution agreements for the N2 with several new partners in Europe and other major markets." read it here: I'm from Portugal, my carrier is TMN, I'm gonna get this beauty!! eheheh

  • It is open some where in europian market anybody know it..

  • they are not availiable yet anywhere

  • very cool little think, shame no networks in UK sell them

  • If symbian had operational system and wi-fi would be best. I wait that they had arranged the problem of the battery, and a penalty not to have pra to vender in the Brazil

  • this one looks great! wonder how much it would cost & if we'll ever get to buy this N2 beauty in Bulgaria? I guess it would hit 500 Euro, not very affordable price, eh !?!

  • i would love to have this phone.. sadly they dont sell this one in the philippines...

  • I had Neonode N1m. Its a good small phone with interesting touchscreen. The first of all with this feature... Well, N2 looks cool but I was expecting more. Something impressive...

  • Who cares? Apple iz the shiznit!

  • This time We hope that... 1) It's grid based LCD display wont Hang in sunlight 2) Removing it's vibrator motor wont be a method to cure many of the phone problems 3) It's battery life wont be miserable like previous one 4) It's plastic wont be that poor like previous one 5) It wont open up into 50 pices on falling down from inches 6) It's GPRS would work in every country 7) It's software would be more user friendly

  • wooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! neonode bought this technology 4yrs before apple....
