This was actually my first ever phone :/ before then I was stuck with the home phone. And it was great, one of the "coolest" phones in the time. My friends were envious of me, anyway. But then, I had two problems: when the smartphones started coming out, this phone had no chance of being better, and when I held on to it on the screen , I made a giant black mark and it wouldn't show pictures properly ever again. :(

Screen developed a fault after 2 years. When dismantled I found out that its ribbon cable was folded inside because it is longer than it should be. I never expected such an amateur design fault from Nokia. Nokia is a good company but they are presenting us with progressively cheap quality products.

Personally, I just bought this phone as a beater phone after my N82 screen gave me the black screen of death. Its as basic as you can get, I purchased it for design and looks. Function wise, its lacking in many many ways. *.mid* tones are limited, personalization is limited, as well as the key design and placements are fairly bunched up, making it hard to operate if you have average to bigger sized fingers. When I bought the phone, the sales person told me there\'s a known problem with the battery to phone connectors, and at times you may have to tamper with it. Its a very slick looking phone, but size wise, its a little too long when unflipped IMO, making it awkward using it. Just my 2 cents

If you want durability and voice quality during call, go for C520 (I haven't exactly used the C520 yet but I've used many other Samsung clampsell phones of the same price range, from the same era so my advise is based on it). If you like unique design and software function, 7070. I do own a 7070 myself, build quality isn't good and voice quality is average.

Go after the Nokia 7070, coz besides being more user friendly, it has got a unique design although low end. But still it's up to your preferences that matters. And I'm still planning to buy this one.

Got this phone at $60. Build quality is poor, as some reviews have stated. There's some movements between two halve. Design is very unique and light indicator is awesome. Sound quality during conversation isn't great and the placement of microphone is questionable. Screen is also bad. But all in all, I'm happy with my purchase. PS: I believe this phone can store thoudsands of sms but when it starts to reach the thoudsand, the phone becomes painfully slow.

I have a question about the triangle light on the cover... it didn't lit up when I had incoming calls, but only yesterday it started to flicker and now it is lit up constantly...that's not normal is it? Because my battery went dead in a day (and I had charged it the day before), so I'm a bit annoyed by that. Does anybody know how to change the settings for that? Or is it a production flaw? Thanks!

Hi, I've been using this phone for a month already. Actually, to start off, this is my 2nd handset of this kind, the Nokia 7070 Prism. I bought my first one, it was pink, then on it's 3rd day it was stolen in some high school house party. That's just how hot it is. First time I saw it's kind (Prism: 7070, 7500, 7900) It was love at first sight. I wanted the 7500 one but it was sold out in our town and this one's the only one available of its kind. I don't really like flip phones and I'm not much of a cellphone type of person (as long as I can call and text, it's all good) but this phone really caught my attention. I don't like phones with a lot of fancy applications in it. I just want to text and call my contacts, save my next appointment, and set my alarm clock. Here's the only thing I DON'T LIKE about it-- it loads very slow. I text really really quick but the phone loads really SLOW!! iT's really not helping me and my busy life :( but the design is incredibly an eye catcher! The over all performance, I must say is GOOD ENOUGH. hope this helps! :)

I like Nokia 7070 Prism only just for the way it look like.There are no features and i wonder why there is 10 Mb internal memory and mp3 when there is no way to use it.There is no bluetooth or usb or data cabel?!But i can pass this cons,beacouse i use this phone only for calls.But the main cons for me to this pnone is that NO ONE CAN HEAR ME CLEARLY WHEN I SPEAK and in my opinion this is beacause the speakerphone is in srange pousition - on the back on the phone.

I've bought this phone just few days ago and I like it: it's nice and easy to use. Unfortunately I've found a little problem with the display setting: it always goes in sleep mode after 15 seconds, even if I switch it off from the menu. I try to put a screen saver without sleep mode, and to put power saver, but the display keeps switch off automatically after 15 seconds! Has anybody experienced the same problem? Has anybody found a solution or it's a bug and nothing can be done?

This is one of the best looking phones I've ever seen. It is very very cheap (50 euros), so don't expect any features. The only feature I'd like it to have is a bluetooth, but still, it is not a big problem for me. If you want a very original and classy looking phone just to send SMS and make calls, this is definitely one to consider.

basically this phone has got no functions. All basic functions only, no bluetooth and usb support. The only thing about this phone is its looks, its simply a head turner. The other consolation is it supports mp3 ringtones and u can use your own mp3 by downloading it via gprs.

that usb port is not meant for u to connect to your pc to do any data transfer. Its for the nokia care centre to do firmware updating.

Its just that the 7070 looks great for its price. I am from Singapore and the phone is not launch here therefore i bought myself an export set from taiwan. I got it for only s$90 which is abt us$70. The phone is sleek and the light on the outside is cool. Keypads are easy to use after a while. I have no comments about the 7500.

I have this phone for a week now and I am very happy with my choice: batterylife is amazing, it looks great, i can personalize it with pictures and ringtones by receiving MMS. It doesn't have a camera or mp3 player but I don't need them since I have other devices for that. Conclusion: Great deal! Special phone.

Just bought myself the Nokia 7070. Previously I was using a Sony Ericsson W960 and then a HTC Diamond but decided on going back to basics due to poor battery life on the smartphones and unreliable software issues that i experienced. i decided to go for the 7070 because of the simple and elegant looks aswell as its impressive battery and stanby time. I've only had it for a few hours but already used to the good old nokia interface. The handset size and design is of a desirable form, small enough not to feel fiddly but not big enough to feel like the majority of the phones on the market right now. The keypad is actually really easy to use, when you ignore the prism cut out buttons, the keys are layed out in the traditional format. The display is of a reasonable size and a decent resolution for what you'll be using it for anyway. So far the only flaw i've found is the hassle transferring an mp3 to it to use as a Ringtone apart from paying and downloading. Other than that, i'm pretty impressed with this nippy little phone which cost me under �50. Highly recommend this to 2 types of people: 1- users who just want to make calls and texts and not worried about other features. 2- Heavy smartphone users - alot of smartphones have poor battery life, but are still great for the internet and the functions. Therefore this would become quite a handy 2nd handset for calls and texts as its a very small handset, easy to use and has great battery and stable software. People who want to use a phone for everything else, then i would advise them to consider something else.

what's the point of only releasing phones with tonnes of features when some people just want a phone that will call and text well? No reason to spend lots of money on features you won't use. Nokia are using their heads. And much better than the majority of other phone manufacturers too. At least what this phone lacks in features in makes up for in style and ease of use.

I dont know why people whenever they see a low spec cell phone they go "OMG NO CAM NO THIS NO THAT" Thats what they call ENTRY LEVEL my friends, ENTRY LEVEL. Call and SMS. Not everyone can afford something with multiple mega pixel cams etc. This is a nice device. Those looking for something that looks nice while being cheap. Plus its available in BLUE AND BLACK too. Read the specifications please! I would buy this over an LG with a camera or some other small time company cell phone (trend, haier etc). Why ... because those cellphones may be good on paper, but when using ... they are boring and very user unfriendly.

i'm wondering why nokia's fashion phone series has s very much low-end phone? Alright, usually I'd have my jaw drop looking at other phones feature but that is primarily because of how amazed I am with the spec. With this one, my jaw also drop, but no not because it's amazing or anything but because I'm actually perflexed that they are actually still using LCD with 128x160 65k resolution on mobile phones these days. I mean, even the cheapest ones can sport a better screen. That spec is like the one my phone had which was many years ago. Yes, the spec is ancient and don't give me a damn "it's a low end device that's why" no that's no longer acceptable. Bzzzzzzzzzzz.......

i think this phone it's nice. but, you should know that this is a PHONE !!!, not a camera, mp3,4... player, GPS or i don't know what new features are appearing. it's for calling people and it's good looking. you shouldn't rate the phones after what the best one on the market has, but by what it gives.
