You will need a DKU-5 or CA-42 data cable. Fake ones should work (if you use Windows, you will need to find the drivers for them). Then get Nokia PC Suite 7.1 (look for example at oldapps (dot) com) and you will be able to copy your photos to the PC. You may also use Gammu, which is smaller, faster to install, open source and should work on newer operating systems, but it doesn't haves a graphical interface and you will need to learn how to use its command line.

7250 was my first colour screen and camera phone. I bought it when it was released, was pretty expensive in that ime. I had it until it was stolen from me, but i still remember this phone as one of the best phones I ever had. I specially loved the keys on this phone,one of the best, they made typing very fast despite their crazy design. I remember the build quality, that bouncing ball game (i think it was called 'Bounce') and how the screen would blur in cold conditions. I would love to buy ths phone again.

It was my first phone. Got it as a present from my mom in 2003. I dropped it from the height of almost 2 meters and it survived in 2006.The casing scratched but other than that, it still works perfectly. Dropped it again in another occasion, and again, it works.. I finally replace this phone when the battery can no longer last 24 hours in 2010. I don't have any other complaint beside the infrared that isn't functioned properly in mine. Other than that, i would say it's a very well made phone from nokia. While my sisters have replaced theirs phones for 2-3 times, I'm still using this until mid last year. 7 plus years..very amazing..

One thing I missed from all nokia phones... Where current generation Nokia phone seems to have lost... is their durability... I threw, punch, grind and did a lot of unimaginable things to a mobile phone on this one... and guess what??? It's still alive~~~ Bloody durable for a phone I must say... 7250 will be missed...

This was and still is my first phone. Wow. It was like the N95 at the time. It's a wondefully stable phone and it has all your basic mobile needs, you can make calls and text. It's been over 4 years and I haven't had a single issue with it. The only problem is the battery is starting to die on me so it looks like I'll have to find a new phone (darn people not producing the batteies anymore *cries*). I've heard that new phones these days break a lot *sigh*

Yep! I'm sure this phone is still "Available" somewhere in this world. But if you go to store here in Finland, you can't find it!! And there are dozens of other models with that same thing. In fact nowadays you can't find this 7250 or others as a secondhand. Here, in Finland!!! The salesman just smiles and insist to you some n91 or other ****. In 2 years ago it was a different situation. Yes, and I'm pretty sure that, let's say in India, there are small villages where they are selling 1611 as a new model. But here everything is so new and so shiny... Shame on you salesmen, shame on you!!! But this 7250, this is a good one. I remember my schoolmate had this back in 2003. Those were the days...

hello, I had this phone for maybe 4 years or so until I was given a new phone 6230. It 's an excellent phone. Has a great design (would be nice to see more new phones with same design) I have dropped it a couple of times but it never failed me no matter what. Camera quality is the best yet, even better than one I have now. I sold it as I didn't need two but it took me months to give it up lol. I loved it a lot!!

Gonna upgrade this year, but this phone has been and still is, the most reliable phone I've had. I'll miss it when I get a new one I think. The only thing that really pulls it down is the crappy camera with no zoom.

Hey nicole.. In order to recieve to MMS u need to activate GPRS.. Call up your local service provider and tell then to activate GPRS.. Then u should be sweet.. Any probs let me know :) Peace out

If the Talk time is Up to 150 - 300 h is really great !!! the Stand-by Up to 2 - 5 h coul be a problem, but I think you can surpass that by talking all the time and not allowing the phone to go in Stand-by :)

This was a GREAT phone 2 years ago. Now its a great phone for my mum. I have owned my 7250i for 2 years now and i cant wait to upgrade to a new phone. Its a really sturdy phone, i drop it all the time and it works fine. I love the 4MB of memory considering it was out at the same time as the 6610 which only had 400KBs of memory or something like that. The night mode camera is AWFULL its just a brighter picture... I advise not to buy this phone!

Hello, I am surprised that many people wait till after they have bought a phone to read more about it. I think one should really look at the excellent nokia website, reviews etc before deciding to buy a phone. In my opinion, Nokia has made many types of phones so you have a wide choice depending on your needs regarding the functioning of a phone.Another thing you should take into consideration is WHERE you buy your phone, buy it from a legitimate retailer! I have the Nokia 7250 which a family member gave to me after getting a new one. Before I tempted to use it I read the Nokia handbook ( wake up everyone.. don't be lazy at reading!) As I read the handbook I checked everything out with the phone at the same time. The HANDBOOK is full of good info for YOU!! Storage is great. quality of pics are excellent . I took pics for my website! I created folders and made one into a family album, one for pics of the country to show friends etc, One for picture message ( extra storage file) , one folder for colour pictures etc. Messages I love I keep in the archives. I can send pictures to email. I always use the calendar and add reminders for appts or even to remind a family member of something. I use the alarm for this. I also the group feature, family, busniness etc etc.. On the front I have the date, time ( 24 hrs). I send text messages inside and outside the country. All it really takes from anyone is to read BEFORE you buy and READ after you buy! I wouldn't have know abotu some of the features with out reading. Please take a little effort so you can enjoy your phone. best wishes!!!

don't worry about this phone.it is already behind the times. Another phones have better standby times, talk times, camera modes. Nokia 7250i came after their flagship 7250. This phone is old, lacking in technology. If you wanted it, you should of bought it before, just when it came out. it is not worth buying this phone now.

y complain if nokia releases a new fone after you buy it, this is common sense when you buy a fone straight away the new version of the fone will be released after this or at the same time, read press releases and the best time to buy a fone is 4-5 months after the original relese eg by a fone realsed in nov in feb the next year or earlier, you may save a couple of hundred dollars and also get better revision software, yes 7210 does not have a camera, but it is also SMALLER THAN A 7250 they made it smaller with out puttin a camera in it, a 7250 is bigger and is the top-range fone at the time this fone was made, other companys at the same time 6 months LATER introduced much better fones eg t610 which kick this fones ass so you have to think this fone has 6 months less of technology in it. do not complain for that, also the fone looks good i think thats the only reason y it sold so well, it shouldnt be so expensive though i dont see wat the hype is the fone costs at cost price $150 AU and is sold at $6-800 rrp

Hi! Everyone. I am in the process for buying a new phone,but am very confused to which one to buy.I have got 3phones in my mind i.e NOKIA 7250i,SonyEricsson T630 or SAMSUNG X600. Of all these the SAMSUNG X600 beats both NOKIA as well as SonyEricsson in Camera+Picture Quality,the memory is too large i.e almost 10MB,it has infrared too. The only advantage that NOKIA has is it has a Stereo FM,that keeps on hooked in to fab music whenever & whereever we r on the move.SE T230 has a good battery life,atleast better than both SAMSUNG & NOKIA.Another part where NOKIA is defeated by SAMSUNG & SE are the colours,i.e both SAMSUNG & SE are 65,000 colour enabled where as NOKIA is just 4096,which compared to SAMSUNG and SE is nothing near. PLS some one advice me what to buy as all these phones come in almost the same cost range. Regards, VB

As said so many times before, NOKIA sucks. Of course I got my reasons. The quality could be much better, and the amount of phones NOKIA produce, and the relatively non-existing changes that they make to new models is just bugging the hell out of me. To stay competetive one has to be better than the rest. So far Asian manufacturers beat the rest of the Euro/American market. LG, Samsung, Innostream and KTF (Korean Networks only) are working with 270K Screens. And NOKIA just brought out new models FINALLY with a 65K screen (which is high-standard for them now). If you look at the LG menu of the G7020 and the G7100 it beats NOKIA by miles. Just as easy to navigate, better looking! Ok, yall think about NOKIA. My first choice in Phone would be the LG 7100 or Innostream 90! cheers yall

My dad and 2 of my cousins have this phone. Its a cool lookin phone but the camera is crap. Whenever he sends the pictures from his phone to my phone (Samsung X100A) You can only see big squares and the resolution suck! The other prob is that the cover color fade very easily. My dad just sit there with his computer at his office. No running nor crashing around but his cover fades. You can barely see the numbers on the keypad cause it just keeps on fading (its original). The transparent glass over the camera scratches easily and the software (including all Nokias) is just too slow (loading up games, viewing images/sounds/SMS even making calls). Its not the best phone in the market. And the 7250i is just the same thing except has 1 new feature... zoom (after shot only). That is why i dont own Nokia phones now. I just trade in my 3200 for a much better one (inno90) and thats my first and last Nokia phone.

this is a good phone. i have been using it for almost 2 months now and really love it. the battery gives me almost 5 days of standby with normal usage. the camera is not bad, and 5MB of memory means i can snap lots of pictures and store lots of ringtones and games. the only thing missing is bluetooth... but i don't have any other device that has bluetooth so it is not an issue for me. over all, i personally give it a rating of 9/10

I have been using both phones, the 7250 & d Samsung V200C, though i love the nokia (coz its so Userfriendly) .... BUT the V200 C has better picture quality. nOT that the 7250 doesnt, it has the same quality, jus that the screen 4 the 7250 is small but once u see the pix on ure email addy, they come out exactly the same as the V200c. the v200c has a brilliant screen with awesome colours, but i dont like folders. however the phone is good, but the battery life is damn hopeless. the 7250 is way better coz it last like a week and only takes 30mins 2 fully charge. but all da cell phone repair technicians say that the V200c is a mission 2 fix. anywayz,the V200c is a better camera phone BUT THE 7250 IS STILL THE SMALLEST CAMERA PHONE IN THE WORLD.

Go there and read. It's a full discussion between the T610 and 7250i. T610 wins hands down.. @Samuel You need your eyes checked brother... T610 has the brightest and richest STN screen around. Name me another STN phone with 65k colours or of that high res? Again Samuel, check the site I posted just now. I had a full discussion there and the T610 still wins.. that forum has the ability to post pictures and all.. Also, ever improvements the 7250i has over the 7250 is already on the T610 by standard and most of the features are also found in the T68i. =)... So go figure.. Just a simple list. 7250i has IR but can't send pictures or tone. 7250i has polyphonic but only plays 4 note and sounds like crap. 7250i has photo phone book but picture only takes up 1/4-5 of a screen while the T68i and T610 takes up 3-4/5 of screen. 7250i... bleck.. you get the idea...

Even though it's only 4096 colors but the picture is much better T610 (dim)& the functions for 7250 really good. The battery peformance is great compared other color phone and my best opinion of 7250 is the big memory storage space of Internal 5.5MB. The setbacks-cannot received voice recorded mms, no voice recording, voice dailing. But overall it's still one of the best camera phone. Lastly, I found the accessories for Nokia phone are usually easier to locate and also cheaper in price, previously I owned sonyericsson phone and the accessories are so expensive. Regards.

Very sad considering how the T610 and EVEN the T68i can just send picture to any device that can accept it.. and this doesn't include Nokia PHONES also... Other than their SymbianOS phones.. says somethign about nokia's own OS... sucks?.. Think so..

In case all of you are talking about zooming, it's actually a useless feature. It's only DIGITAL ZOOM. just take a proper picture and zoom it yourself with a Corel or PhotoShop. It's the same results =P.. What Nokia should do that would be nice is what SE did for the T68 and T68i. All T68 users can upgrade to the T68i's software for free =P

Nokia 7250i has caller id pictures and better browser than the 7250. Besides that there's no difference. Nokia should recall the 7250 from all it's customers and trade it in for the 7250i since it's the same model.

Not as bad as it is made out to be. To adjust the picture outlook you have to play around with the display brightness. Only drawback is the ring volume. Compared to Sony and Samsung the Nokia ring volume is nothing.

I have just bought this 7250 and previously using T68i and still carried the 7650. The problems with this 7250, the infrared cannot transfer pictures and the picture size send out also cannot adjusted. But the battery performance are very good and also the memory space of 5.5MB. Overall, it's still a good phone and I am going for Sonyericsson T610 soon and see how good before settling down with either 7250 or T610. Thanks.

I trade in my T68i for the Nokia 7250 and the phone (7250) really impressed me. The design is nice (look solid), built-in stereo quality sound radio, big memory space 0f 5MB, convenient intergrated camera (anytime, anywhere), so many functions and yet the phone is still quite small. I have two SE T300, I can send/receive email (flashmail) from the set, the MMS feature also able to send to email address, you can also attach jpg/gif/midi to emails. If you want to send other data, change the extention to JPG or GIF, etc, send from your PC to T300, and you attach them from T300, tell the recipient to change it back to it's original extention. with NowMMS free subscription, anyone can send email and I received them as MMS. The MMS size is bigger than NOKIA. I can send/receive midi/imy, amr (voice), gif/jpg/wbmp, vcf (business card), thm (theme), mpn (mophun game), etc with my laptop using IrDA/Bluetooth. The MIDI is 24 sounds, much better with N3530/351Oi, you can have a full length midi for the ring tone. I can use T300 as a dialup modem for GPRS connection on my laptop. There's free application from SE or SE fans to synchronize it with Outlook, create new theme, compose new MMS template, etc. The MMS feature is much better than N3530/3510i, you can have many page, each with picture/anymated gif, with midi, voice, with timing, etc. The games is very good, you feel like you have a mini ATARI video game, better than most Java game. I've bought a Nokia 3530 and the next day I sell it again. The design is elegant, it has metalic finish on the front cover. The REAL gentleman cell phone. Not for a punk kids! I'm happy with this handset, and I think you will happy too. You will even happier with SE T310, and REACH extacy with SE T610. Try it, and you will feel like always want to hold them in your hand. Hello! The 7250 admits maximum 300x200 pixels. The 3650 admits maximum 640x480 pixels + video capture. I would rather the 3650, coz uses symbian system, bluetooth, Memory expanision card, big color screen, video capture, WWW broser, real media player... But, all these functions are not good IF YOU DONT HAVE A DECENT KEYPAD!! So, the 7250 is good just bcoz of the keypad and small size. 7650 is like 3650, without MMC, without video capture (but u can add with a soft)... But keypad is MUCH better than the 3650's!

Owning a 6610, I did not know if was worth it, but I did it. Bought a new Nokia 7250. Small changes from the 6610. But very nice touches. Added with the camera, which takes very nice photos. Feels light too! Feels lighter than the 6610... All in all, i've got a phone which I believe that I will love for a long time to come...

I don't know who made infrared first, who made bluetooth, camera, radio,... but i know one thing: THE NOKIA PHONES ARE THE BEST, AND THE BEST LOOKING PHONES ON THE MARKET, so if you want to scary people with your SE phones( which are like calculators) then buy yourself one. SE are trying to put all in one phone because they don't own the market, and that's the way they are trying to take the piece of pie from Nokia, but they won't get it. Just bought the Nokia 7250 here in Singapore. To my surprise, the memory available for use is 5.3mB, that can store more than 200 pictures in high quality mode. Overall this is the best Nokia phone I have ever used. Much better than P800 in terms of form factor and user friendliness.

The phone is sold in Kuwait now but for the price of 210KD in individual stores and there is a limited stock yet in Dubai it is sold for 140 KD.. IT is said to take up to 35 images and yes it is colorful and no it does not have a melody composer and since the screen is small then the pictures taken aren't that bright or clear or big..

FOR JIMMI:If you rely have this phone then you can see that you are abble to create up to 5 caller groups,and asign pictures to them.So,if you want to see the picture when some person calls,put that person in some of the groups and asign a picture to that group,but look out,becuose the picture will be shown if any of the persons in the same group calls.

Nokia is certainly coming up with tons of identical phone which just got the same function the same style...just like 3310 and 3330. Nothing different between this 2 phone...the disparity is just only the size the different colours available... but all the new phones that nokia made, not all phones are useless. For the n7250 i would certainly buy it as i find it nice, cool, and i need the camera. As a cyclist, i cycled around whole Singapore and i would certainly need a camera with me when i saw unusual object. I can't probably bring along a digital camera with me which is way too bulky and heavy, that would add loads to my pouch. A small phone with a camera built inside would be a great accessory to bring around. Hope that this phone will be coming out fast...Looking forward to own this phone... Any phone you gonna purchase, it matter the brand, you must trust the brand to purchase the phone you like, the features, the function and the design. No one can change your mind unless you wanna change it yourself. Just go for the phone you like =)

Unlike on what some dweeps are running hot around on this board, the 7250 does have the new Symbian OS like the 3650 and the 7650 have. Actually it's a 7210 with a (cheap) camera build in the back of the phone. It's like u have the 7210 always connected to that new Nokia camera-headset.

I agree with Tudor. If you choose to use a 7110, no one will care and you won't be arrested. If you choose to use other brands, no one can stop you. Many models come out thick and fast but in the end it is still personal preference. For me i love this phone though I am not sure if it's worth the upgrade as I am using a 6610 now.

This phone is basically the 3650, but with a better keyboard. I think this think wil rock. One major beneift is its Symbian based Series60 interface which will run a lot of games and other handy apps. And it doesn't have the 3650's smallish/weird circular keypad. The camera is neat but not that interesting to me. I could live with out a camera on my phone.

you can't blame anybody for how they think of a phone..honestly i find the 'camera feature' quite useful..let's say you want to take a picture of something unusual and u want to show it to somebody else..it'll be helpful if u had the 7250 at that time..people will carry their handphones around but not a camera. So it is convenient in a way..another thing is..i myself am a Nokia user...and the one problem with Nokia phones is...they come out with new models too fast and the prices are sky high.If Nokia releases new models at a slower rate i'm sure people will be more pleased...i intend to get this phone if the price isn't too high..becoz if it reaches about RM2000 over here in Malaysia..i might as well get a 6100,7210 or 8855. don't mean to offend any of u people...i agree that everyone has their own opinions...so nobody is right or wrong. for those who don't like Nokia phones..it's their choice to use other phones..it's not a crime to use non-Nokia phones...and some people may prefer to use older models..you can't blame them either..everyone has their reasons..maybe some people can't afford newer models..or maybe some people think it isn't worth it...it's their choice...i'm planning to get this phone anyway..it isn't launched in malaysia yet...but when it IS launched..i might wait a month or so for the price to drop..prices of Nokia phones here drop very fast... =)

i think tutor from romania is right. nokia is very good at using commercia selling by implenmenting some rarely used functions. they are fun for awhile but not practical and its too stupid. I mean i too am attracted by its look and function but check out the price man! u can buy 3 ps2 with this money. i am not dissing nokia 7250 but for those who want a phone that is good with its price and useful check out 8250 or 8210. after all it is a phone, and u can change it to something better after the price for these expensive phones to drop. anyway happy new year everyone!

My opinion is my opinion an d that's the way it is. All i'm saying is that phones like cars or clothes are made for different people and u're phone suits u're personality.I recently bought a T68 that has a color screen and that is very nice and smart. People like me have money but try to respect them by buying a good phone but a limit of price. The ideea of putting a camera into a phone is very good but not this kind of camera that's very very low quality (you're pics have clarity if you take the pic in the range of aprox. 2 meters) . The thing that i don't like about nokia as a brand is the fact that they are flodding the market with phones that chalenge one another in a matter of 2-3 months. Why didn't they put a digital camera in the 7210 from the beginning? the answer is that they are fuckin happy to get the money ! And the informations about phone releasings are a very very well kept secret so that you cannot choose in time what to buy. If they released the 7210 and the 7250 at the same time the 7210 wouldn't stand a chanse because everybody would have bought the 7250. The ericsson T68 was presented in pc world magazine something like winter 1999 and released in 2001 = 2 years of testing this phone and ensuring that it doesn't have software bugs and sheep arhitecture. Why is that ? Because Ericsson (and now Sony -Ericsson) respects our money, and that is why I respect them and will buy their phones in the future. And the camera as an accesory is a very elegant ideea = who want's a camera can buy one. I understand that as some say technology must evolve and I'm not the idiot that want's to stop this, but I oppose to brands like nokia here that simply make fun of my money. They generally make qwuality phones, but they sell their ideas piece by piece : why do they make 3310, 3330,3410, 3510, 3315 (that all are in fact the same phone) and not a single phone at a single and hard - changing price ? And are a lot of other examples of nokia models that are the same...oh! and why releasing the 8910 and then the 8910i with color screen ? They have a very good marketing strategy but in the same time very rude for consumer's money. These are a few reasons that convince me not to buy their products and more, not even to use them even if i find them free on the sidewalk! Thank u for u're time. Not like the others, I respect everywhone's opinion, because in the end I might be a complete idiot and in result i have idiot ideas...who knows...

Damn people complaining all the time... Personally I think Nokia are the best and will probably never change mobile phone brand. Now I don't want to carry around a mobile phone with an integrated camera the size of a Palm or have to plug in some friggin add-on camera. This 7250 is on my wishlist for 2003!

Ed that's exactly what I'm pointing at .. why complaining and show people that u r rich enough to buy too much expensive phones like Vertu. He may say that the idea of having a camera or a colored screen in a phone is so stupid .. but infact in the near future everyone will use it as the SMS feature everyday. Me my self when i saw the Nokia 7650 i thought that why the hell i need a camera in my phone? ..but then i realized that all the mobile phone industries are shifting to an In-built cam phone or as an accessory .. we can see here that those kind of models are released because lots of people are demanding such features ..otherwise they wouldn't release more of camera phones. I with the people that said that Nokia releases 10 new phones every month .. YES thats so stupid when we buy the newest nokia phone and suddenly they decide to release 10 new phones, but hey.. technology must go on .. it's not just nokia have camera phones..look at Sony Ericsson, panasonic, samsung, and motorola.. they have released couple of models that have an in-built cams and some of them can use cams as accessory .. and if anyone would make fun of these designs .. tomorrow others will laugh at them because wether they like it or not ..they will going to buy one of these phones sooner or later..

I agree with "Unknown" totally. On one hand TUDOR FROM ROMANIA is right coZ many phones nowadays have features we do not need. However if we look at it, 5 yrs ago there was no SMS. However as the technology comes, people begin to use it. Now the camera and the MMS function may seem useless but it could and i think it would become as common as SMS is now. Maybe Nokia or SE or the mobile phone companies should let comsumers custom-choose what functions they need and pay for them, just like Dell.

Tudor.. i'm with you man!! I do certainly agree. I have used nokia fones before but I got tried of their shitty useless fones. Nokia should have gone for a fashion designing business NOT technology. I'd really be better-of using Ericsson fones (specially the T68). I always get the best value for my money using Ericsson fones. Cheers :)

We're not in 1997 or 1998 to use that kind of bricks like 2110 or 1610. they're right:the high tech is going on, and today we're using small and lighting phones whith many features and nice design not only basic and bulky phones like 4 or 5 years ago. Today 99% of the mobile phone users around the world are using modern phones. Only a very small percent of users are still using the phones made 5 years ago and that kind of people are not interested in mobile phone evolution. So, for this point of view my predecesors are right. We can't go back in ancient times. On the other hand i still agree with tudor from ROMANIA. He's righ for one point of view:we're paying a lot of money for phones with features that we don't use every day. He's right. Why we need a camera on phone? That's really stupid. For these unusless feature we pay in average about 80-100$.And what is the stupid thing is that every new brand model is having a number of unusless features, so it's price is higher. You buy a brand new phone with a crazy design and maybe with a bullet proof feature included, and after one year or one and a half year you sold it for nothing because another phone (these one a children made one is released). The point is we don't need only basic phones that's right, but we don't need Einstein phone either.
