Durable phone. I bought this 4 years ago, just before the plus 2 came out. My mom adopted it as I wanted to play more intensive games on my phone, which I can now still do on the oneplus 5. My mom had to replace the screen, because she dropped it, but software wise it is still allowing most apps to be downloaded and working. For a four year old phone this day and age, that's impressive.

I traded for this phone and gave up a iPhone 6 plus in the deal. I had NO regrets. My biggest regret was the wash out of color that oneplus caused on photos. I had this phone for 6 months before I switched bacck to the Note 4. This was a great phone, great camera and awesome battery life. I actually wish I still had it tbh.

I'm still using my OnePlus One, I've had it since 2014. It's the only smartphone I have ever owned. I have never put a case on it, and it has sustained countless drops and impacts on surfaces ranging from hardwood to concrete and pavement. There are literally small chunks missing from the body and frame, yet the functionality has not been compromised at all, and the screen is fine; no cracks or scratches. This is a great phone, and while eventually I will be forced to replace it, what's interesting is that the high-end phones coming out today quite literally seem as if they have been purposefully designed to shatter on impact when dropped.

I am also still using it for the last 4 years. About 3-4 months ago it started to get really hot while gaming, even while browsing the interweb. I have Cyanogen 14.1 on it, Android 7.1.1. Tried Lineage too, it got even hotter + apps started dieing on me. So I switched back to Cyanogen. Any ideas what the hell is going on, why does the phone heat up this much? Cheers!

Sorry, but you're wrong. Running Android 8.0 (Lineage OS) on Oneplus One. Replaced battery few months ago (10 euros spent on that). No problems whatsoever. Of course it doesn't have 4 selfie cameras, but I can live with that.

The specifications are amazing, but one thing to consider is that the CyanogenMod on which this phone is based is no longer providing any updates. Though this phone really amazing. Even in 2018 you won't regret buying it. I have my oneplus one and will be using for next two years. This phone is that good.

I have had the OP One for almost 3 years and my wife has an identical OP One (64GB) for about 2.5 years and have not had any issues at all. I have just upgraded my OS to Oreo (Android 8.0- LineageOS 15) and my wife's phone is on LineageOS 13 (Android 6). I am running the latest Android OS available on a 3 year old phone with no issues. How many people can say that with their phones? My battery charges rapidly and lasts for a couple of days. I could not be happier with my purchases of the OnePlus One. I'm sure their later models are great too, but I don't have any need to change as it was so powerful to begin with.

very unstatisfied - many sensors have some kind of a problem - GPS lock very slow to get, microphone is saturated at medium volumes causing clipping, bluetooth audio has a tick every few seconds, and then sound pitch is faster, battery life poor. On the plus side the phone is still fast, when it's not crashing. not recommended.

True HD Music file support ( the reason for i buy the phone) work well in lineage as compare to cyanogenmod 12.1 official. 2. Processor is too fast in fast mode. 3. No heating issue when calling. 4. After installing 20 to 30 apps RAM is free approx. 1.8 to 2.0 GB 5. 64 GB Memory is sufficient 6. When pair with sony basic earpod you can feel melodious sound which you never experienced in other phone except iPhone. 7. After 3 years passing it is the best phone under 7K category. 8. I love my phone very much. Cons. 1. Only one issue i faced it takes 4 to 5 hours to fully charged it is annoying.

Have it for 3 years with no issues. Even been using it in the bath, have it sitting next to the bath obviously listening to music and stuff, with no water splashing on it and haven't had any trouble. So no, even though it's not waterproof certified you definitely don't need to be in the Sahara desert for it to be safe.

Probably the worst in product quality and customer support, the OnePlusOne phone I have has some issues with insulation (and I have read about such experiences from other unfortunate users as well), after a few months of using the phone I observed that dust was entering the phone camera, I took the device to the service center (Bangalore - India) they cleaned it and gave it back, within a few months again I observed the same issues, took it again to the service center they cleaned the dust again and told me there is some issue with the phone and asked me to contact the "Call Center" as they cant do anything about it. I promptly called the "Call Center", the agent asked me to visit the "service center" again, I did that and as expected the service center washed their hands saying I need to go call the "Call Center". Tried reaching out to different email IDs, support phone numbers etc etc and every time I was assigned a new ticket and nothing happened beyond that, I even wrote to the CEO with all the details and again received a service ticket without any resolution of the manufacturing defect. I dont think anybody even reads customer emails in OnePlus One, if even the CEO is not bothered how can we expect the call center and service center agents to have empathy for the customer. And all this when they sold a defective device to me, I am stuck with a faulty phone, and all the organization is doing is pushing me around between their multiple teams so that I get tired of this exercise and give up......... Very well done OnePlus, I am not going to fall for any of your products in future.

Hi, I recommend you to flash a custom ROM like ResurrectionRemix(http://www.resurrectionremix.c­om/). You can follow this link as tutorial : In the tutorial they use adb to reboot in fastboot mod but you can do it by pressing and button when starting the phone. SuperSu is not necessary but replace SuperSu file by your custom ROM and flash it. You perhaps also want to flash the gapps.

Try clearing your cache from the Advanced Boot-Up screen, or if necessary plug in your phone to a computer (Hopefully USB Media Mode is enabled), copy your files (pictures, app data, etc.) and factory reset from the Advanced Boot-Up screen. My One plus one keeps restarting. When i press the power button, it turns on, displaying Cynaogen and then either restarting or switching off automatically but it never past the cyanogen screen. Sometimes showing Optimising apps, but still, during optimisation it restarts again and again and never completes. high specs for the price. Love the double sim slots. does a great job. Quick in most apps. Moved from Iphone to android and ths is my second android. Impressed! Bought 2 for my business. Dropped it many times. Frame seems strong but the on/off button is weak. Love the no interruptions button. Glass or frame never broke in bad impacts. Dropped my Iphone once and shattered in the same fall. One+ never noticed it. Dropped many times. Down side.... Both the phones hang up badly on you tube or similar vids. Sound is not great. Hardly hear much on loud speaker. Casing is thin and will slip out your hand easily. Make sure its in a thick case. Cant remove battery normally. (But ways round this!) Both my phones have poor quality video recording but great pics. They had so many apps that 'seek attention' that they will send you mad! Clean me! Optimise me! Battery low! All making noises non stop! Try to delete them, they will load themselves back up on the next data access. More like a virus! I flashed them in the end and cleaned them out. Now work perfectly and battery lasts twice as long. I would recommend this to anyone though.

Bought one of these second-hand for £100 in excellent condition. What an astonishing phone! As a 2014 flagship you'd expect the performance to be dropping a bit 3 years later but that's not the case. Running Lineage 14.1 (Nougat), it's fully featured, lightning fast and the battery life is superb. As long as the battery is in good condition, this is one of the best second-hand purchases you can make if you want a decent phone but have a limited budget.

With that price or adding a little more better buy Honor 5C or Redmi Note 4. This is a 2014 phone so do not expect any updates. I am using it personally. Two areas that I didn't like is the rear camera performance and the battery. Rest is superb.

Never purchase oneplus due to their poor product quality and customer support. My mobile got network fault within 2 month and they suggest to change motherboard and I request to replace mobile in place of change motherboard due to 10 day policy term. I've had my 1+1 for about a year and a half and have a couple of issues that have caused me to seek out a new phone. It just randomly shuts down and it goes offline all the time causing me to have to re-boot (toggling airplane mode does not work). Thought I was getting a great phone for a great price. 1 out of 2 is bad.

Best phone I've ever owned. Rooted and running Cyanogen 13.1.2, Android 6.0.1, it's as fast and reliable as the day I bought it around 18 months ago. I use it for a lot of things I once needed a computer for. My only gripes are that the battery isn't accessible and the camera isn't the best in dark environments (excellent otherwise) but cruising on Marshmallow and Cyanogen makes it customizable in just about every way. Treat it well and it will last and serve you well for a long time. With unofficial Android 7.0 ROMs starting to do the rounds I see no reason to upgrade it. I watch 3D movies using it in a VR headset, play 360 VR games, have 200+ apps installed, and it feels and looks great. The battery not being accessible hasn't been problematic yet but ultimately one day I'll need to replace it so that's the only real downside for me - I don't know why so many manufacturers do this. But other than that an all round great piece of kit. 9/10

LOL you people are not using the phone properly. I have had the Oneplus One since release , 2 years 6 months ago. First 6 months it was buggy because of the OS bugs , since then runs flawlessly and currently on Marshmellow.

I've now had my OnePlus One for a few months and it is unfortunately the worst phone I have had the misfortune off owning. The software is clunky and often stops working. It is user unfriendly and frustrating to use and sometimes simply stops doing what it is supposed to do. The hardware looks and feels excellent but the button positions are not well thought out, it is not unusual to accidentally change the privacy settings by bumping the wrong button and you then stop receiving calls and have no idea why until you look at the screen and see the changed setting.

Too heating problem, S/W updating issue (if updated hanging problem came), When I put a charge, It shown "Device too heat. battery abnormal condition". 10/26/2016 - hand over the phone to service center. Still they not giving proper response. Still I didn't get my mobile. I was report to one plus online customer care (Live chat). They said" your device is ready so go and collect that ser., center. But In service center till now they didn't find the solution for my mobile. Their Customer care also useless. Guys Plz aware of this.

So true...I am having this device for past 2 yrs...its exceptional in everything...works well...meets my needs...can easily get two days of usaymge with battery...guys those who have battery problem,clear cache and ram once a week and don't use shareit app...if its a must for you,only use when needed then clear the app data,force stop it and reboot ur phone...it uses WiFi in background...using 360 security which helps in RAM and Cache management...

I really wanted to get the one plus 3 after hearing and about how good it was and seeing a friend with one however I didn't for this reason: I order one from them and payed for first class 1-3 day shipping. When it didn't come after 5 working days I called them up to ask when it would be delivered. The person I spoke to was very rude and couldn't tell me anything about my order. I then asked to speak to a managerange. He said it would take up to 6 weeks for it to arrive and refused to give me a refund on my 1-3 day shipping ( also very rude). In the end I was so annoyed with the poor customer service, which didn't give me much trust in the product, I asked to cancel the order. He told me it would take 2 weekso to refund my money which I was not happy with and said he would not refund my postage. In the end I had to go to my bank and explain what has happened showing the emails and they returned my money in 24 hours. I'm not said anything about the product as from what I have seen it is great. BUT if you need your phone within a week or 2 and you want good customer service I would be weary.

On 1st september in the morning it automatically switched off. there after i am continuously contacting to your support team but they are not responding properly. they are just saying that we will call you. In the evening of 1st september they said that we will contact you within 24 to 48 hours. so i called them today at 4pm dated 3 september and the lady who picked phone said that their team will call before 8 pm today. but i didn't receive any call, so i again called to customer care and had chat with Mr. Nitesh and he after putting my call on long hold said sorry we can not help you today one plus team will call tommorow and when i said to transfer my call to senior executive he denied. i didn't expect this kind of rude behaviour from one plus team. my phone is continuously off from last 3 days and one plus team is not ready to support. i regret that i bought one plus phone. i will not suggest anyone to buy this kind of BAKWAS phone

The glass screen protector was defective and it literally shattered in my face. I was lucky I was wearing glasses but a shard got in my left eye and I had to see the eye doctor. hi Tkt, I dont know whether you are still using the device and i do agree that i have faced same issue earlier. I thought like it is problem with oneplus one mobile but it is not. It is because of the problem with cyanogen os. After figuring this out i have flashed custom rom (exodus) in my oneplus one and used for a while. It wont have that problem but i came to know that people behind exodus rom were doing this for their timepass and really they dont respect us if we post any feature request. But they do release security fix (slight modification from cyanogenmod) on timely basis and battery backup is also good. Since they copy updates from cyanogen, I have once again flashed cyanogenmod (not cyanogen Os) in my mobile and right now i am using it. Facing literally no issues and my mobile working like new when i bought it. So flash it with cyanogenmod Rom and start using it. It works solid without any issues. Hope it will helpful for you

There's an app called media rescan in the play store just download it and run the app, it might help you. Otherwise just clear the cache in settings>apps>gallery

I recently traded by Nokia Lumia 1520 for the Oneplus One and since then there has been no looking back the phone works stutter free, after the windows 10 update the Nokia Lumia 1520 stutter a lot, with a few drop in frames while play graphic intensive games and apps crash more often and the phone tends to slow down. Since my exchange program, I've loved the Oneplus One (I used to criticise the device and the OS earlier) but, after using it for more than 2 months I can't seem to get over it, the os is smooth with the cyanogen Mod 13 (Marshmallow update) game playing is awesome, more app choices for Android but, lot of bloat ware on the playstore as well so you have to be careful. Thanks to the 3GB Ram the phone handles multi-tasking with absolutely no slowdowns or stutters. The only con is the google voice assist doesn't work at all when the screen is turned off, I travel a lot by road, and I hate using my phone while driving my car and I noticed I had to stop my vehicle a few times to do some basic exercises to make use of the calls and accessing whatsapp or even skype for that matter, I miss the cortana integration that Windows phone has to offer, having said that the new marshmallow update for cyanogen does support few Microsoft based apps like Cortana, trending twitter topics on the lock screen and few other features which I haven't used. But, I've noticed that Cortana doesn't work as smoothly as it does on windows phone when the screen is turned off, and in many asian countries voice activation for cortana isn't available for Android yet. The second issue i've noticed is the phone tends to slow down with some basic apps like trying to dial a # the phone just takes more than just a few seconds to dial a # from the contact history, the same holds true even while adding a contact to your address book. Not sure if its just my device or other oneplus One owners who have upgraded are facing similar app loadup time slowdowns. Other wise the phone works perfectly fine and i'm quite satisfied with it.

Hi All, today i tried running the antutu 6.1.4 benchmark (I am not a fan of benchmark apps, but just wanted to check if performance has stayed well or not). I got a score of 59797. I am on stock COS 12.1 (with last build based on android 5.1.1) and rooted. I hope this score is not bad for a device with the now 'outdated' Snapdragon 801. But my concern here is that in 3D section of the app, it tells me that i will have bad experience with 3D gaming with the score being low. So can someone please clarify it? Also just for the heck of it, i tested multitasking with some games. I opened Asphalt 8, NFS MW, Real Racing 3, Implosion, Dead trigger, Riptide GP2, CSR Racing and all of the apps were kept in memory. I am very pleased with the memory management and I am overall very impressed with this device.

Don't worry dude , just give One Plus a shot and trust me , you'll be enjoying the perks of an I Phone in an android device that NEVER hangs or Freezes on performance mode and lasts for more than at least a year and half. I've been using this device since 18months and haven't discovered a problem yet . Note:- the only issue that I can term is that the phone my occasionally or frequently overheat while performing certain tasks but download a tiny app known as Cooler Master for that and it will be taken care of . Also, if you face any problem and need guidance as to how to go about using it to the fullest you've got a universe full of YouTube videos on this phone . Don't wait any longer and don't simply believe me either , go chenck its awesome features out for yourself and you'll know that every bit of this reply is true. :D , well, enjoy your one plus device , coz there sure is no other phone that can match this one .

I've bought four opo phones. None of them lasted more than a year. The opo phones work great for many months, but eventually (after about 1 year or less) they stop charging, develop microphone blanking issues, and one even burned out a few chargers before I figured it out. It's always a non-fixable hardware motherboard problem. Also, service has claimed that the phone got wet, based on some indicator sticker inside. (To clarify, NOT based on water induced corrosion in the phone.) I'll swear that it never really got wet, but forget about your guarantee. No where near the reliability of my old Samsung phones. Each one of those lasted quite a few years.

I dropped my phone back in december and it took me this long to fix it because I dreaded having to send it to be serviced. I finally caved, contacted one plus and got a RMA and a freight label. To my surprise I would send the phone from Sweden to Czech republic. I sent it late friday night last week. Tuesday I got an offer from the service company for fixing the screen. Wednesday morning I accepted. Thursday morning I got the bill and paid by Paypal. I just collected the phone in the mail this friday at noon, so it took less than 4,5 working days! I can honestly say I have NEVER had this good service, and also there was a screen protector applied to my new unbroken screen when I picked the package up. I'm very pleased!

There are two version for Redmi Note 3, Meditek or Snapdragon, the Snapdragon 650 version certainly is the better one. Guarantee or not, only the user who really use it can answer. I do own it, and it certainly a very good. It do not has an apps drawer, but it simply not a big deal, all apps and using experience still remain very "Android", which fully remain high customization level, and high level of freedom on usage, especially on media playback. I do compare it with other phone with apps drawer, and I start feeling the apps drawer is redundant. The only advantage to have apps drawer is being able to hide apps, but no more. It isn't fair to compare to Z3 or Oneplus One, but it certainly offer performance that comparable to those, with a cheaper price, almost half the price to own one, and a very usable one without all the lagginess and stutter found on most cheap Android phone. It even run games on full frame rate on highest graphic setting without issue. Not bashing saying other phone is worse or trying to praising the Xiaomi phone, but it is a solid choice to own one, given the budget, as the RN3 is much cheaper than the Oneplus One, even much cheaper than Oneplus X in my country, so really worth the consideration. The Snapdragon's RN3 even comes with Micro SD slot, finger print scanner and IR blaster, so it really provide much more value for owning than Oneplus One and Z3. But do remember, only the Xiaomi global rom is more stable, others not recommended, even though there maybe some performance boost. Coming from a user who use it day by day.

I have the Oneplus 1 - and it is the most useless phone ever - the Customer Service are a non entity - The phone will not use bluetooth in my car - it cuts off my data for no reason - it logs me out of my home wi-fi - it tells me I only have emergency calls - the screen goes blank - calls get cut off mid conversation - the list is endless....... I wish I had not got carried away with the hype of this phone - I am only complaining now as I have tried their customer services who tell me they are dealing with it then tell me my ticket has ended. In a word 'USELESS'

Seems like updates sometimes break the system I have a one plus one but I got an April just came out. Actually the com.Android warning came on and said unfortunately Blah ..and it wouldn't work so I shut it down. So this just happened and I let it sit there for four days ;trying to figure out what to do. it. The system now works fine and if you look up this particular bug ; there are hundreds of steps you have to follow very complex. the healing went through to the 1+1. From a Reiki master. Very strange but true. Other than that the gorilla glass broke twice by just putting it down. If u are facing batter draining problem I would suggest u to try flashing other ROM'S(since there have been issues with Cyanogen mod battery backup), i too was frustrated with the phone draining about half of the battery power over night so I decided to flash alternate ROM(recommended DARKOBAS or EXODUS) these provide great battery backup and haven't found any bugs either so far.

One of the best phone's I've ever owned. Loved the camera performance, but noticed that the stock 4K mode video recording takes up a lot of space. 64GB is what you should buy and that's it. The glass is not that hard to replace if you have to do it yourself, however you'll note that all aftermarket glass that is available for this phone is weaker than the original. Just recently updated it to Marshmallow and it runs like a champ.

I can not empty the memory downloading all photo pictures from the 64GB internal memory by cable :( Sending one by one as mail is not to mention due to high volumes. I ordered Oneplus1 on march 2015. First it worked ok, but suddenly the battery started to drain very fast (5 h). I changed the battery but still the same. It doesn't heat up much during eating down the battery. Something is broken, just after the warranty ended. Also, when the svreen is set off, it goes back to lock screen for some time (30 sec?) the blacks for maybe 2 sec, then starts this cycle again, continuously. I guess my next phone is not 1+.

My OnePlus One (rooted) is an amazing phone. I've had it for over one year now, and with Greenify installed, and a tonne of other apps and games it still runs very well with amazing battery life and performance. With the ColorOS camera app it takes amazing HDR photos and 50MP photos that look so good. The only downsides for me is the position of the volume controls relative to the power button, this means its hard to access the volume with a flip case. My other issue is that the camera is too high. Both of these have been rectified in the OnePlus Two.

I bought the Oneplus X at end of March the wifi antennae has failed 3 times. First after 2 days and was recommended to do a factory reset. this worked for 2 weeks when it failed again at which point I had to return phone for repair. So no phone for 8 days It worked for 2 days after receiot and failed again. Their returns/replacement procedure is outsourced to Arvato - there has been problems with getting the shipping notices etc for the phone to be returned (replacement wont be given in meantime unlike Apple) This morning i find that their customer service has switched to working 9am-9pm Eastern US times - not great for European customer. It was a nice phone when it worked but starting to fall out of love with the brand.

I updated to CM13 and now my OPO is ruined. My computer didn't recognize it for file transfer and now it won't even start up anymore. Battery drain is huge if wi-fi is enabled. For now, stick to CM12, it's far more reliable than CM13. I wish I had never updated.

Oneplue One is probably the worst Android device i've ever used the hard is fine no issues, never had any problem since I've got my phone. But, the OS is a piece of shit, Android as a OS is a battery drainer for starters, then the cyanogen mod 13 except for a few cosmetic and button layout changes the rest is still not open source. If I have to compare a something like Windows Mobile 10 OS or BB10 OS yes the OS can bring a short-lived smile on your face that's all. Did I say I had no issues with the hardware? Well, I probably forgot to mention the SD card slot which I miss from other mobile os devices like windows for starters, sideloading apps on the SD card is the real deal. My 1Plus 1 drains the battery so fast that I always have to carry my power bank everywhere I go, this is particularly true when you have the Wifi turned on. Then the 4G bands don't work so well at all when compared to other devices which offer 4G bands at the same price. Well, those are the two major issues with the hardware else it's perfect with all its imperfections. Another, perhaps the most critical issue I have with this specific brand 2 years has passed and finding the devices accessories in the markets where they have launched has been a nightmare for many with only a few online brands dealing with the sandstone or wood finish covers or for that matter if you end up damaging the buttons volume rocker especially they are high chances yo'll be paying through your nose to get em fixed, not many services centres any more of the brand in a Country like India in spite of they having an office in India it doesn't offer any respite to consumers. I wouldn't recommend this phone to anybody until you find an idiot who you thinks is a kid in the candy shop and is all Awwwed by the devices specs and screen.

I've done a little researching on this, I don't have this issue but a lot of people seem to have the same or similar. A majority of the response say it's an Android error, which I don't necessarily agree with but it's very possible there's a conflict between Android and Cyanogen. A more likely reason however is there's a setting somewhere that is limiting the sounds. Seeing as you get vibration/screen on. A couple of things to try/check. Double check all your volumes (ring, notification, alarm) are turned up. Try a different launcher. (Next 3D is a personal favourite) Disable any lock screen for a while. Worst case scenario - factory reset. Don't forget to keep checking for any bug fix updates too.

Guys after updating my oneplus one to android 6.0.1, google and its associated applications are not loading on Airtel network. The same however works on WiFi. The weird part is that while on carrier network other internet based games, Facebook and whatsapp still works. Its almost like the issue is between google and airtel 4g on android 6.0.1

I had many phones, including Note 3, Note 4 and after one year I have found myself buying again the OPO as second hand, it's the best phone for this price, you just can't have a better phone for this price. 7 days ago, my oneplus one wouldn't turn on. It was fully charged but no sign of starting. I contacted Support, and went through a rigmarole with some helpful person, who could only ask was it fully charged, then that I should back it up fully. (Why have someone with so little skill here I don't know, though she was very helpful, it would have been better to have someone more knowledgeable). She upgraded the issue to the next level and suggested I make an appointment for an online review, (incidentally I did that and it is arranged for 2 days time). She gave me a series of files to download in advance. I was insistent about the urgency and she got someone to speak to me almost immediately. So i opened a real time session with the next guy, and as soon as i say i'm using a macbook, he backs off. Says it must be returned to them. It seems they could have restarted it remotely if i had a windows pc. Note one of the files I downloaded seemed to be a driver to allow an apple pc to talk through a USB port to the phone. This guy never mentioned that! Anyway, the next i get is a voucher and address label for the phone to be sent back by DHL. The address on the label is in Germany! I'm in England! So 2 days later DHL show up and pick up the phone! I'm here 5 days later having been told just now it takes 5 to 7 days to process it for repair. Remember they told me it could be fixed online in 45 minutes! So I've had no phone for a week, my business is dependent on a phone, and i haven't talked to my kids in 10 days (they live in another country). Now I love the phone. Its easy use, and has a great screen. I cannot give a technical review like others here but I like it, especially the price. Except for: The pain I had transferring data from an iphone and the convenient links to my macbook. Contacts: Some of my contacts didn't transfer. The phone wants to search google rather than the address book. So if I'm roaming, I cannot get some of my contacts. Inconvenient to say the least! Photos: My photos don't automatically go to my laptop anymore! Some of my stored photos on my laptop have disappeared. I use Viber a lot. I get photos on Viber but cannot upload to my macbook. Music: I use iTunes, I don't buy much music, and never online downloads. One of the problems i had with my iphone was that lack of storage for music. It was an iphone 4 and could only handle 100 to 125 songs. Not great out of my library of 7500. So I thought i would be able to get them onto my oneplus. I'm not sure, I think it's playing my music from my library but over the internet. I cannot see what's on the phone as it doesn't link to my macbook! Support: Well I read about poor support but I liked the price enough to gamble on a new oneplus. Well you've seen the story above. Am I happy? no! My biggest problem is not knowing what is happening or when and if I'll get my phone back. My advice to potential buyers, is to consider the lack of linkage to macbook before mixing technology!

it has been December 2014, now the battery charge doesn't stay much, it gets heated up easily. Sometimes it gets very hot near the camera portion of the phone while playing steaming videos. Network reception drops and sometimes no reception at all. have to switch off and on and even restart won't help. The replacement was as brand new phone from the same batch ... hopefully it will be fine... for now it runs great. Frankly the customer service was extremely disappointing especially when support didn't care to answer my questions, I considered this a profound lack of respect and this alone will make me think twice before buying a new OnePlus phone later or recommend this product to someone, although I love my OnePlus phone. I believe it's covered by Gorilla Glass, as I got the phone for nearly a year now and there isn't a single scratch on the lens. I also don't use any sort of protection like a screen protector or a case, but I can't see any scratches, nor on the screen nor on the lens. The only wear I noticed is that the sandstone texture starts to thin out near the edges, but you can only notice it when you look at it closely. Overall I think it is a great and pretty durable phone.

It warms up around the camera while browsing & watching videos (around 40°C) and somewhat more during gaming (45-50°C). This is actually only a bit warmer than normal human temperature, if it gets hotter that means you have some bad apps installed. I am a very heavy user and I own one for about 9 months - it never heated over 50°C but it did freeze on me for 5 or 6 times, for no obvious reason. Just reset it with power button and that's it. This device will be fine for another year or so and then it be out-of-date, so OnePlus 2 looks like a better purchase considering the price difference...

Good phone in a budget, now its been a year I am using this phone and it has started showing issues. Battery life has now decreased, touch is not that smooth as it was earlier, camera gives bluer photos, etc. However the main issue I am facing is phone is not getting charge, it keep showing 0% battery while charging. Pros: It's a very good phone specification and price wise. Cons: None of the official ROM is good. Cyanogen has issues: call quality and autofocus in video recording. OxygenOS has very less features like cannot change screen temp etc. (There is a custom kernel but has slow charge and heat issues) Even for custom ROM you have to root for some reason or other. Learning curve is there. Yellow tint issue is there at bottom part of screen for many phones. (can be ignored with 4500K (R-255, G-218, B-187) screen temp) Conclusion: After much hit and try with ROMs I am now set with SAOSP (A custom AOSP based Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM) with starostarno kernel. Now there is no issue in call quality and camera. Battery life has improved and no heating issues at all.

Phone is good(I am using it from last 4 months) but after the last update it has started developing some bugs. Phone has become slower comparatively. The phone switched off autimatically and you have to connect it to the outlet immediately though the battery is full. It has happened 4 times in last 2 months. I would not recommend buying the one plus one phone. I have the 64GB one plus one and after a few days when the warranty expired the phone became useless. The phone would disconnect and turn itself off (full battery) and you can't turn the phone back on. The only way would be to wait awhile and plug the phone to an outlet. I have done 4 remote sessions averaging 3-4 hours - what a waste of my time. The remote session is a joke becaue they will make you believe the phone is fix then a day later the phone is back to its normal self - non functioning. They will talk you in to more remote sessions - another 3-4 hours. Who has time for that?? Seriously? They will also ask you to send your phone for repair leaving you without a phone (for how long -you don't know). Go buy a moto x pure edition, a nexus 6P or any other phone but a one plus one. Trust me...

The OnePlus One is the one of the best phones I have owned. It can easily get me through a day with moderate usage. The phone rarely stutters or slows down even when multitasking more than 20 apps open at a time. The multi-touch issues were noticeable more when I first got the device than later on in its usage. However, I have refused to update beyond firmware 25R as it appears to be the most stable of the lot. I have used this phone for 2 years and it has become a reliable friend to me. However, the battery is exhibiting signs of old age as occasionally it will die around 20%. A reboot will readjust the numbers and it will then display the correct percentage, but this has never happened before so I know it's a sign of age and gradual death. Because of this I was forced to purchase a new phone and I will use the OnePlus One as a back up.

It's the same with mine, this is with all phones; the system takes a little bit of memory so that the system itself can run; however I don't know why it needs 10 whole gigabytes just to run the system. It's not a fault with the phone it's just how much OnePlus decided the system should take as partition. I'm sure you can use some tweaks or whatever to get some of those gigabytes back but I wouldn't advise it just in case you corrupt your internal memory and take too much memory from the system memory and prevent the system from functioning properly. 54GB is pretty good anyways.

Bought my first OPO and am still using without issue. Bought my wife the same OPO and the touch screen was buggy at the start and after several updates it appeared to be working. Within a 6 months the screen did not respond to any touch commands. Found that this issue has been plaguing other OPO owners, even found a youtube video on this issue. Called OPO Customer service and this is where the headaches started. OPO customer service is not responsive, it took three days for them to respond to my initial email then another three days to get a support technician to do the initial troubleshooting of the phone, which they were unable to fix the issue. The OPO phone is now with them and it has been over two months now and they still have not been able to remedy the issue. If you get lucky and get an OPO that never requires support consider yourself lucky and that you made the right choice, however if you have any sort of a problem with the phone you are in for a long and bumpy ride.

Phone will get warm/hot when charging. This is not a problem. If battery is really low this is because phone is switching between fast/slow charging cycles and finally to trickle charge for last 20-30 minutes. This insures complete, full charge. Personally I have found putting phone on charger every night, lessened the heating problem. Battery will stop charging when full charge is reached. So I unpluug in morning. I love my plus one! I love the 55gb memory and 2.8 GB ram! Can forget about using SD cards (yes!!) And use thumb drives if I need removable storage, also can load hundreds of movies on such to be comfortable viewing if on bus, train or airplane. Using the dual micro USB adapter I bought later I can charge and use thumb drive at same time, wasn't offered with phone (would have been a real Plus! Could have used a keyboard also.) I found using a 2.0 mAh charger works better, then unit sent with phone. Phone battery does automatically stop charging when battery full... If still using it will monitor battery level and keep at full charge! This is great! I have had my plus one for over one year ( or close to it) The fact I can use any sim card (I am in Thailand) I have been to 12 different countries..... Everywhere their sims were a simple plug-in and automatically search for carrier... Done! Here I have internet and WiFi... I like looking at phone seeing 4G displayed... Know I am connected to internet, if not I am on WiFi. The phone will automatically switch to WiFi when I enter a hotspot, keeping my internet usage to minimum! GREAT JOB GUYS!!! I DO NOT WORK FOR PLUS ONE! I AM RETIRED SENIOR WIRELESS TECH FROM VERIZON... WHO KNOWS A GOOD PHONE WHEN HE SEES ONE!!!

They have the same hardware pretty much (801, 3gb ram, 1080p) but the X is smaller (5" compared to the 5,5" of the One) and the X also has a place for microsd and has an amoled screen. Battery is smaller but we don't know yet how it is

If your having an updated Hangout app means please uninstall the update. The specific app is creating problem in your voice call. Same thing happened to me and i followed the above step and it helped me out. Give a try

Problematic phone since acquiring it nearly a year ago, Customer service members that pass you over without dealing with the issue until the problems get escalated to their top guys then they ignore you completely. Why not give them a call, but make sure it is in US operating hours as they have no intention of properly serving the UK market.

Don't even think about moving from Samsung to OnePlus. I did and have regretted it ever since. My OnePlus is not usable as a phone at all. Keeps dropping signals all the time. I hold my old Samsung in the same area and I get full bars. OnePlus was a waste of money for me, hope you do not make the same mistake.

I have this phone since July 2014. The phone was the best flagship of 2014 if you take into consideration price/performance ratio. The best battery was with KitKat 4.4.4, latest version. Lollipop 5.0 was a mess and a disaster in every way, including battery life. 5.1 IS better than 5.0, but is still far away from 4.4.4's battery life.

I've been using it for almost 2 months now. Took me a while to get used to it's apperance, UI, gestures, personalization, but I didn't experience even one single issue ever, also battery life improved by 20% with its latest update (CM12, KK 5.1.1)... Only thing that's missing is fast charging - it's twin brother Oppo Find 7a has it, but I've opted to OPO due to it's design and no regrets so far!

If you crack a screen, even little crack then touchscreen won't work because oneplus use old technology for their touchdigitizers(any samsung phone works even if it cracked). So you would need to replace entire LCD screen (100$), because replacing touchpanel separately is impossible

Dear customers, One plus one mobile phone is good but customer care service & after service very worst. The company just believe in selling phone but no facility of repair maintenance after sell. I purchased two mobiles one from Amazon & another from ShopClues & both mobile is having issue of mike/speaker volume and when I request to ShopClues & Amazon for return they told communicate at service centre. And I call various time to service centre & I not for satisfactory reply & they told me bring the phone personally at service centre. And big issue is service centre is not near by our town Bhilwara it is at Jaipur (Raj). And service centre manager told that we have to leave the phone at centre & tells no gaurented period when they will solve our technical problem in phone. So I can't understand where & whom we should consult because amazon & ShopClues customer executive are not replying properly. So please help anybody how to solve the issue. If company will not entertain customer after sale then why they give warrant/guaranty on products while selling the products. Why the company is cheating with customers.

I received my One plus one and there were two physical Marks (not a prob with the display) I have had to send over 30 emails whereby the customer service people kept asking for the same information I had given them in previous emails, the latest one was unreal they want me to install software so they can remote view and this can take an hour and how remote session is going to help is beyond me, have sent a letter reminding them of the sales of goods act and informing them I want to return the phone and will buy something else, worst company ever.

Love the design and the phone. But poor customer service to the max. used it for 3 months, down for 5 moths since then. Close to 50 emails back and forth with CS. The procedure is so troublesome that you might just want to give up. upload mulitple videos and picture to google drive for them to review, divert your CS ticket back and forth with different CS rep. In short, it's been 5 months, my phone is no where found in their warehouse, or estimate date on when i will get my phone back. Good to hear that your phone still rockin from march 2015 til now.. My Note 2 still rocks for 3yrs using it. It never fails me from anything. Playing AAA games like Implosion, Walking Dead, Deemo, Real Racing 3, etc., having more than 5hrs screen-on time for normal usage, and still an eye-catchy because of UAG case. :D

worst experience with my ONEPLUS ONE after using it for 7 months. Updated to the latest version and got stuck in installation. Now its more than 3 days, not able to use the phone. Costumer service team told all the files will get erased or sometimes they will have to change the motherboard. It was a update error, a mistake from the company side and they are not guiding to correct the problem. As we all know, service centers are only in few cities, it is a big difficult to reach them if we are not from a city. Costumer team response was not good. Please be careful while buying a phone which is sold only through ONLINE. If anyone have a solution to backup phone files please help me. Its in the Recovery mode.

Hi krish11... I think I understand the issue with the flashlight turning on without your knowledge. Go to Settings >> Gestures >> Flashlight and turn OFF the option to toggle flashlight when a 'V' is drawn. That might solve your issue. I had the same with my 1+1, but this option resolved it. Good luck! :-)

Maybe im just very lucky but after reading all these negative comments about the OPO i feel blessed since i have absolutely no problems with my phone. I upgraded to android 5.1.1 and the o.s looked like windows 8 but the phone started to heat up even quickly after i upgraded and also the flash light turns on automatically at times and i would not even know that its turned on. The heating issue is the major problem with this phone and i hope the manufacturers do something about fixing this issue and see to that similar issue does not arise with ONEPLUS two.

I've had my OnePlus One for about a year and it has been a pain in the backside from the beginning, Overheating, flash light switching itself on and disappearing from the menu requiring a reboot two or three times a day. Google music player switching itself on whilst on the bedside table at 2AM, numerous freezes and battery flattening itself in 2 hours sometimes. None of the software updates have done much other than cause irritation and finally yesterday it bricked itself after the newest Cyanogen update, taking my photos and MP3 files into oblivion! Thank you google+ for keeping backups. CBA with OnePlus any more, I'm going back to a Sony - hopefully my blood pressure will improve.

I've been using the oneplus one for about 8 months. Here's what I like and don't like: Don't like the updated Cyanogenmod OS. It deletes the email app and email account setup with no prior warning. They support only one LTE and one 3G band from AT&T and T-mobile. This is obviously a corner cutting move. Even though these carriers also have other bands. I suspect in fringe area the phone may not work very well. What I like: The ringer can be very loud. No more missed calls due to low ringer volume. Plenty of battery to last a day. High resolution compared to my old phone.

OPO owner here and OP2 battery life really sucks. I am expecting more from OP2 but the battery life is big let down. I suggest to all the manufacturers if you are going to build a non removal battery phone you need to include a quick charging & wireless charging features. Hello Friends, Namaste! from India. The most common problem of OnePlus One is the call and voice quality related problem. Everyone (mostly the people who updated the phone to the latest software update) who has purchased this phone. Well definitely this is a bug in Cyanogenmod OS where the 3rd Noise cancellation MIC [located near the camera] overreacts ;) to any kind of noise( including your voice) it captures and try to minimizes it. This results in call & voice breaks. The algorithm written for Noise cancellation using the 3 MICs is not working properly. And frankly speaking CM team is struggling to fix this. So, for the time-being people who are facing this issue can make use of any of the following methods to fix this issue: 1) Paste a tape over the 3rd Mic [located near camera] and cover it completely [Or] 2) Uninstall any Call recorder software that you have installed [And] 3) Disable "Ok Google" voice detection in Google Settings ->Search & Now-> Voice->"Ok Google" detection -> Disable all the 3 options The method 2&3 worked for me and lot of other people too. Disabling of call recorder & Ok Google solves the issue because both these apps depend on MICs to capture the voice and when MIC is used, the buggy Noise cancellation algorithm kicks in and hence the problem starts. So, people who think its a Hardware or Phone problem, please relax and enjoy your 1+1 as this is a SW problem and u can fix it using the above tweaks. Keep smiling. bye :)

OnePlus One is simply the best phone in my opinion. I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for a short time, then I realized that its no way in comparison to the sleek, smoothness and power of the OPO. Touchwiz for me is a buzzkill and lags heavily, thus my decision to get the OPO and enjoy the smoothness and customization of the CyanogenMod 12 OS.

OnePlus does not seem to be serious at all about their touchscreen issues. My personal experience is terrible: I recently purchased a OnePlus online and immediately found it defective with a large section of the touchscreen insensitive making it impossible to use the keyboard. OnePlus customer support answer has been dismal: I have been bounced back through 4 different people, some asking for details that I already provided. In complained to them within 24 hours of receiving the defective phone, telling them very explicitly that I refused to take possession of the phone and that the goods were still at risk with them, which under the relevant laws effectively means that there is no ownership transfer. OnePlus keep trying to pretend that I should return the phone at my cost. This is totally wrong under HK Sales of Goods Ordinance. I pointed the article of laws to them but they keep ignoring them and trying to make up their own laws. This phone is garbage. Cheap price for a cheap phone. After just a couple weeks my touch screen started failing. During typing a text the app will close and four more open up without even pressing a button. The main camera does not work. It will only focus on macro focal length and nothing else. The battery will randomly die out from 60% or more battery life. I live in Chicago and do not have AC in my car. Putting this phone in anything over 80F causes it to heat up so much it burns to touch. I have had this phone for seven months and am still trying to get the One Plus customer service to RMA it. Step after step they have me do useless things like take pictures from every angle, install log readers, etc. Now they want me to do a remote session in which they will install things onto my phone, which I have already tried twice. Not only do I have to wait a couple more weeks for that appointment, doubtful it will work. I am pretty sure they just want to run me around until the warranty is up and they can make up some excuse. I have had these problems since I got my One Plus and have never dropped or damaged it in anyway. This is ridiculous and I DO NOT suggest this phone for anyone.

Please do your research on this company. Go out to their forum and see how they treat their customers when something goes wrong with their phone. The customer service is less than a joke, months go by without any progress. I've sent my phone is for a screen replacement, that I'm paying for out of pocket - and no one knows when it'll be "final inspected", what the costs are, and where my phone even is. Even better, when I call for an update I'm told to call back in 48 hours. 48 hours go by, and I'm told again to call back in 48 hours. I respond via the "ticket system" and literally no one responds to me. Hats off to the designer of oneplus one. When we talk about battery , it has a pretty good battery. Well if you are a heavy user of your phone this will not give you any miracle. But if you are a moderate user you will be stunned by the performance of oneplus one. Well iam getting around 6 hours of onscreen time. Let me tell you the standby time of this phone is mind blowing. If you have 100 percent charge at night and when you woke up without using the phone it shows around 98 % battery. So guys this is my first review after couple of weeks use. I need some more time to give any further reviews on my oneplus one.thankyou for helping me to choose this beast.

Hello, I must be the only person who has thrown the oneplus 1 in the bin. Yes the high end operating specs are great but the basics of the phone are poor. 1. Signal strength: Poor. Inside the house, in the same location the other 4 family phones reception is either full strength or 4 bars. Oneplus 1.... 1 bar. The phones are a Samsung note 2, samsung s5, apple 5 and htc m8. 2. When the sim is inserted in the 1 it loses over 25% of the contacts, but insert the same sim in any of the other 4 phones all sim contacts show. 3. Gallery: Try and do another folder so you can seperate ur pics. Also no ability to have hidden folders. 4. Ringtones: will not let u use downloaded ringtones as ur primary ringtone or as a sim contact. To me the basics are as important as the high end especially signal strength. Thanks.

I own a oneplus one and one of my family member own a AT and T unlocked G2..both phone are good..but oneplus got better processor, ram, performance, display, guaranteed updates, CM OS. If you are looking for better service LG g2 will be better..I have been using oneplus one for 7 months..no issues whatsoever..gu

With such budget dont go for oppo, buy branded mobile like sony/motorola/samsung/LG dont buy oppo/Xiaomi/Micromax etc You can go for oneplus one though

I got my oneplus one today.I'll update my review after few weeks. But I had a strange problem. When I checked the phone for first time there was nothing in gallery. But late night I saw some videos in gallery. Iam little bit confused how did this happen. Can anybody help me with this.

When i was 13 my father gave me a 5000rs to buy a phone. Though i was so curious in phones that time, i didnt brought any phone. I just saved it. I was aiming at smartphones witth best ftrs. I saved mony each time . Iam from a below miiddle class family. It was so difficult to save money each time from my father. I diddnt buy anything with that money. I started collecting money and conciously avoided each smartphones without buying that to save a lot of money. Now at 18thage i have 21000rs i havent used any phone still now as my own. I cant wait more i am going to buy one but the prblm is i liked opo alot and alot but iam worrying to spend my money which is worthless by only trusting a chineese company. So i fixed to lg g2 with similar perfomance. But still i think i miss opo. Dont know what to do as you know it is not easy to buy a smartphone again in my life.so i cant take a risk. Pls Tell me what i have to do how much i can trust opo. Feel so happy to tell my story to you frnds.

@mls Go to the Oneplus.net website and go to their forums. There is a list of compatible carriers for North America. I've used my Oneplus One in the states. My Canadian provider uses AT&T when I am roaming in the states. I limit my phone to 3G for batterylife reasons. I have not used 4G.

Don't buy this. Andheri and Borivali service centres keep the phone for more than a month before giving back. That is, my phone was in Borivali Center for 40 days and andheri for a month. Issues: overheating upto 82* Celcius, extreme ghost touches and battery drain, NFC not working after returning from service Center

U have taken the best decision! for the price u have paid. Among its class oneplus ine is called the beast of smart phones! Although s6 and note 4aand htc m9 are far away from such price. But oneplus one the best phone in this range. Im gonna buy it too. And do tell me ur review of its performance
