Panasonic GD30 - User Reviews

  • My first phone it was the best phone ever!

  • my first time hand phone in 2001

  • my first time hand phone in 2001

  • My first mobile phone!!!

  • My Dads first cellphone and the first ever mobile phone in the family.New Delhi. Circa 2000. Solid phone taht looked and felt space age back then. 50 phonebook entries was a awe inspiring. My Dads phone was from Vodafone UK. In its heyday this phone was miles ahead of anything from NOKIA, Motorola or Samsaung and SE. It exuded class and looked flashy and expensive. Was around $ 600, Harvey Norman Sydney. The phone was solid and superbly crafted. The keyboard has a reassuring feel unlike many phones today. Had an alarm and sms which was hiend at the time. This phone now has pride of place in the family museum with other worthies like the Moto C118. Great battery life and nice ring indicator that flashed green or red.Last used in Jan 2007 when battery went bust and the non genuine replcement battery went kaput. Panasonic was pretty much out of the mobile biz in India and it was time for something more reliable and modern. But the GD30 was Godsent in the early days. I would love to use it if only I could get ane battery pack. An absolute LEGEND. They dont build them like they used to.

  • My first ever mobile phone! Didn't bought it; my brother gave it to me. I wish I had kept this phone as a collector's item. Now it's gone. :(

  • Panasonic GD30 was my second mobile phone. My first was Ericsson GA628. I've had several phones since then but GD30 still is my favourite. I love GD30. I would still be using it if I could find a battery replacement. It was the lightest phone as at when I bought it, it did the two things I look for in a phone- make and receive calls and send and receive sms very well and it was very user-friendly. It was also robust and durable.

  • my very first cellphone! haha

  • My first cell phone around 2000.

  • My first Mobile.

  • good fr da time i stil ring people wit it

  • it is my first mobile but really it was the best and have timer option which i didn't find in many mobiles it was amazing from 10 years and also it was light

  • my first

  • I am still using this phone and it works perfect. Though the Antenna was broken a long back it's still working like before. Though it can't be compared with the Hi-Tech phones available in the market now a days, but it's one of the best in it's segment.

  • my first phone as well!. even got soaked in a glass of coke. but the damn thing kept on working.

  • my first phone too...8 years ago,yeah...long time ago

  • Also my first phone back in 1999/2000. It was great even when the antena broke down. It was kicked, slamed and used in various conditions, but it was still working. Where did Panasonic gone, bad :(.

  • aa, my first phone as well. And to say it was 8 yrs ago... gee

  • This is my very first mobile in my life.

  • First phone. Still miss it. Hours of endless joy. Where have panasonic gone?

  • I had my Panasonic gd 30 for about 5 years, and today about 8pm it falled on floor where was burning fire.It explode like a small bomb and i cant forget it.I liked it very much, but now is time for a new a-210!

  • i've had my gd30 for 6 years now... my mom-in-law still uses one though her antenna has broken off... i use mine as a back-up phone... changed the original batt a couple of years ago... couldnt find an original anymore and am using a generic one now... simple, basic and very solid phone =)

  • i have a software problem on this phone i want to reloaded it's software but in turkey i could't find it please help me if you have please sent it to my"[email protected]"address thank you for everyone.

  • I wanna buy a new GD30 , mine is broken can you help me to find one and how much does he costs ? (in euro)

  • I have GD 30 for last 4 years it is very good set indeed. Now I am facting battery problem. I want new original batter for GD 30 set. Can anyone tell me the address in Delhi from where I can buy the battery.

  • My first phone. Extremely reliable. Now I have another gd30 and a new battery. Its been working for 5 years now but it still working good.

  • This phone is exellent. I've had it for 5 years now, and it still works without any flaw. Just had to change battery. Not so rich in functions, but consider release year!

  • An old phone, slim on the features, and the battery is dated. What's awesome about it is the logical user interface, and the fact that it is indestructable. My GD30 has gone down flights of concretete stairs without issues.

  • The panasonic GD30 was my first phone and the most reliable one i really miss the phone and may be giving up my Motorola t720i if i can get this phone again. an execellent phone well done.

  • I think it is very hard to find phone covers for them.Do you know any place to get phone covers.I live in Talee,Co.Kerry Ireland

  • it is very nice

  • Pretty good phone except i can't find any ringtones or logo's or anything that will work on it so thats a bit of a disadvantage

  • Well, I have bought this phone at a second hand offer and paid only a couple of bucks! It works great and the animation is ass-kicking!!!

  • please,i need informations abaut GD50

  • this phnone is good but... the battery is over shortly. how much does it cost a battery 4 this phone? i like it...

  • ut is good

  • antena broke after a month or something... but it still worked without. Lately [about 2 yrs of using] battery does weird things. It turns off the phone too often. But the phone is unbreakable. It's been thrown on the ground so many times and still works. I would'nt care to do the same with the newer ones.

  • This is a bad and old phone, don't buy. Panasonic's newer ones are much better. The antenna breaks easy and you loose all your friends if you buy this one. :)

  • I have got a GD30 GSM phone for only one year. And I have got problem with it for latest two mounths. Its battery does not work properly. I wanted to change the battery of ıt but I did not found the right battery instead of old one.
