i bought this model year 2005 at PHP22,500 (Philippines), so expensive you know.. but the price did not return to its consumers its worth !!! so disappointing! i had many problems w/ this one. I couldn't even send MMS! i dunno why :( another thing why i don't use it anymore is that its battery's no use at all. I went all over stalls in malls yet they don't have it..is it bec it's an old Samsung model that's why they don't have stocks??? huhu sad, i missed using my samsung. Though I wanted to sell it but i can't bec of the stored stuffs i don't wanna lose :( mmm, anyone here who knows where i could find E810's battery ???? THANK YOU :)

the look of this phone is good but its features are rubbish. the memory isn't very good. 30 seconds to record a video whats all that about? i have had this phone for a year and im so happy that im getting the new samsung E900. it hasn't even got a mp3 player and it has got a voice recored but you can only record for 30 seconds. (woop de doo). i can't wait until i get rid of this one. my advice is don't buy it. all its good for is if you just want to phone or text.

nothing wrong with it. has good features, although no bluetooth. The video is good although i wish it could record for longer. the games are brilliant and i can't choose what tone to use because they are all too good! Buy it on O2 because you get free internet access (certainly i do) and i go on it 24-7! I have downloaded 6 tones and 7 games!

This phone is very good... The sleek design makes it a head turner. It feels good to hold and the display is top noch as to are the functions. The only major problems i have with the phone are the pre installed games... as they are not to my taste... Other than that 4/5

you can download java games for e810 in wap.ranova.org which i managed to do so... but i not so sure about uploading game through infrared.. cos till now i still don't know how use the infrared..have never succeeded to infrared any images to other phone or via versa

Hi, I have only just bought the Samsung E810 and really like it! only thing is, can someone tell me if there is an option for when you slide the keypad shut that the screen stays on? I'm not sure why it goes off after a few seconds, is this normal?? Apologies if its in the instruction manual but im at work at the moment and haven't got it with me. Thanks!

AlexP You cant turn the sound off for Photos. The Koreans have introduced it as a permanent feature due to the number of guys taking perv pics of chicks. I think Sony Ericsson is the same? Maybe wrong about this.

I have found this phone excellent. Exept texting, the Nokia is better for that. Everything else is spot on, and great polyphonic ring tones.

I havent used the 810, but at first glance, it seems little better than the X600 I have just bought recently. It has pretty much the same features. The X600 doesnt have the cool silver sliding keypad, but it does have a much nicer looking rotating lens with a manual flash/torch (dont knock it- i have been in blackouts before many times, and my mobile is always closer at hand than a torch in a cupboard somewhere). Seems to me Samsung is mass producing new models based on style for markets outside Japan. Any thoughts on this?

Just a note to anybody considering this phone; I have purchased this phone (from HK), it will cost 20% more than the e800 and the trade-off is slightly better camera functions for the speakerphone function. So unless new firmware comes out that enables this function (which is supposedly there according to some reviewers...) reconsider ur choice between e800/e810

Had the phone 3 days and it's not too bad. The only thing i don't like about it is the memory, Nokia phones are alot better in terms of how much videos/pictures you can store. Another Samsung without Bluetooth (not that i know what Bluetooth does!), anyway, overall not a bad phone!!

Had this phone 4 days and loved it till I missed a call. The incoming call removes your key pad lock and does NOT put it back on when you fail to answer. Result...your phone dials who ever it wants from the bottom of your handbag/pocket!!! Any one found an answer to this problem as I do not really want to give it back. Too dangerous to keep!!!

They should really have included video and MP3 player with this phone. It is too lacking in features and the design is great but it does not save this phone. The INNO 75 by Innostream is basically the same phone as this but with Video and MP3 player included PLUS a 256k screen. INNO 75 is better than this phone. Sorry Samsung I love you your better at anyother phone for design but you must include all features otherwise competition phone will beat you.

Both the e800 and e810 has a very good design with similar specifications but apparently the e800 has voice clarity and photo caller ID while the e810 don't, i guess e800 is better overall even though it doesn't have a rotating camera, still haven't made my decision on which one to buy

Phone is a good phone,nice small size.Camera and resolution is very good.Ran into someone with it the other day.He is station over seas in iraq and also in germany.He was in the u.s. NYC and worked fine on t-mobile network. I still love my p900 but this is a good phone not gonna hate on it.

it looks good for me, with slider and small size too. rotating camera + flash, it doesn't seems enough for me because it doesn't have mp3 ringtone and 256k color. like i know before, samsung always win in "the war of display" and always use mmf format as their ringtone and -as i know- not hear to good for true voice.
