Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 - User Reviews

 • Hi. I got it in Feb 19. It was way better than tab s2 and not so different than s4 so I bought it. After all, i really enjoy the tab with enourmous display. I owned an Apple Ipad Air 2 and this was really better. The con part is the screen witch scratch really fast, even with original case. I dont use any screen protecter :(

 • Realy? i just wanna upgrade my tab. Is there anyone else have more review about pros and cons? Should i upgrade to one UI? Nubi ask to mastah, please gimme a clue.. Tks

 • After update to Android pie, battery performance reduce 25%-30%.

 • Is it worth 380 euro now ?

 • What all are the new features in the new android pie update ?

 • 1st update after android pie one UI broke my tab s3. now shows moisture detected on usb port. Not fast charging anymore. Error reappears after cable is plugged and unplugged. This tab has never been drenched, dunked, or spilled on with water. ...maybe a year of handling it with sweaty palms got to it? Was the android pie update a coincidence? ...no solution yet. heads up PH

 • Tab s4 has MHL support

 • Anyone know samsung new generation tab that have mhl port? Or at least that can share display out thought projector... Im now on note 2014, feel a lil bit lame and looking a fresh replacement for it. Offcourse without sacrifies it functionality and productivity, by any mean have tab/note feature like s pen..

 • I just bought my 2nd one 2 xTab S3 and planning to get another one I have ipad and ipad pro which I paid over $1300 and I just use T3 because its lighter and more convenient and never breaks after multiple drops without any fancy covers which I got for my ipad collection which I collected every ye

 • nope it can't i have it and it doesn't do things liks that

 • i have it for a year and a month and no amoled burn but in my opinion buy the s4 because you can either have 64gb of storage or 256 gb which is sweet cause internal space in this device is 32gb but after the operating system takes it's part out of the box it's around 14gb space available (not 100% sure but it's around there) and the ratio is better, 10.5 inchs slightly bigger screen and a bit more resolution though you won't notice it and it has a better cpu which i would have seriously chosen over the s3 gaming kinda lags on the s3. it's 150$ more but it's worth it. but never but the s5e it's just a gimmic with a slower cpu. but trust me here if you want a device to casual game and surf youtube, watch netflix, sometimes export videos, and it should be portable. then buy a laptop I know it's bigger but it's a much more pleasant experince if i get back in time i will buy a laptop myself now if you want gaming hard-core editing you can get a pc for that price because tablets and smartphone are just not the device for the job i learned this the hard way. but if you have a laptop that is good or a good pc then just ignore those texts up and buy an s4 cause it's the best android tablet on the market and a plus if you are a fortnite fan you can actually use the settings and have nice graphics and get respectable frame rate because that shit ain't cool on the s3 it's super buggy on it just like the 5e.

 • Better the iPad 6th Gen (2018). Tab S3 is older and iPad pro is too much for such work

 • does samsung tab s3 possible to have AMOLED burn. im planning to buy this instead of samsung s5e

 • is this tablet can film a video at 240 fps? if so for how long?

 • Yes in sep 2019

 • Yes, but after the summer unfortunately..

 • This tab upgrade to pie or not?

 • Please Tell Me, about make or receive calls on Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 3G/LTE..

 • Please Tell Me, about make or receive calls on Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 3G/LTE..

 • This tablet will get the Pie update starting from summer 2019.

 • Just did december security patch

 • Assume you have noticed that it have microSD slot and you can have storage as big as you like. There is not bullshitting like iPad, selling GBs at cosmic price...

 • 32 GB of storage ? gimme a break Samsung. This is a tablet - a device where we would keep ALL our media - all our pictures, music collection, magazine collection, books, videos etc. If Samsung replace this tablet, it needs to START at 128 GB of storage, or I am not interested.

 • Quad-core? 😮 Why not octa-core?

 • Does anyone know if the S3 tab has video-out support? As in, can we connect the S3 tab to a TV unit via an HDMI cable and adapter? Would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

 • what are the changes?positive or negative? i saw 1 post online that this updated decreases available ram out of the box or when not in use

 • This s3 grows on you very good tablet screen better than apples pro models getting used to android not tried pure android 1 yet might get a Nokia or if I can afford a pixel 3 ?

 • Just did october security patch 👍

 • cache 10-mb - dados 100-mb

 • to me aug security patch screw my tab up. all this while performance okay...handling all tasks that meet my expectation. now wifi ping really unstable whether its 2.4 band or 5.0 band reset to factory and problem still remain. previously playing pubg mobile legend with ping 50 and below. now the ping spike up to 200 ping for no reason. at the same time tested Huawei m10 pro with the same internet connection, ping is superb. tested with iPhone and run the game again, ping is superb low. disappointed! really disappointed!

 • Just updated to august security patch seems ok

 • I have the Tab s2 9.7 running 7.0 nougat. its an excellent tablet and I have had no issues whatsoever. Same resolution as the s3. I don't care about an spen on a tablet. The S4 is now released and they want $700. I would just get the S3 or even the s2. wait a year and that price will drop for the s4. I never buy anything when new. I always wait so they work out any bugs and you get the latest OS and firmware. AS far as performance issues. You have to tweak your settings to get the best performance possible. that goes for any android device. If you don't know how, watch some youtube videos. You will notice a big difference in speed. I do love the s2 9.7 mine works smoothly and fast. Ill wait until the price of the s4 goes down. Cheers!

 • If you want more storage get the Tab S3 coz it has SD Card expansion. Also has better screen for movie consumption but if you're into gaming stick to iPad. It has better app support and the apps are more optimized than Android Tablet. My only issue with this tablet is that it only has 32 gb internal storage although there's an SD card expansion you cant move apps on the SD Card unlike in Marshmallow.

 • High end games Aren't optimized for tablets.

 • its pretty well known snapdragon has thermal issue as in V20, ZTE Axon 7 etc. And because tablets are bigger with bigger resource handle, 820 keeps throttling down.

 • snapdragon 820 still laggy in games like PUBG but s7 edge with snapdragon 820 better why difference if same chipset processor

 • Hi! I'm between getting this and iPad 9.7 2018 but I'm having difficulty deciding. Up until now I've been using iPad 4 so I don't have much experience with Samsung tablets. Any insight and opinions would be really helpful. It's for entertainement purposes mostly, and reading/studying. Thank you.

 • The speed is very good and the s pen comes with fantastic feature ...I love it The only issue is that the stylus cannot be inserted inside the tab

 • Go for the iPad pro, it is much more supported.

 • i need some help, what is better for collage use (taking notes, writing note) the tab s3 or ipad pro?

 • Am using this one for drawings mostly. Great device! May be a little bit of a splurge but hell I love it.

 • Samsung must add more battery MAH like ipad 8800 mah or 20,000 MAH they can do it, and they must solve the styles pen same like Note 8 to be inserted inside Tab, and to make it more strong enouph so that it will not get broken from falling down and the edge or styles pen must be strong enouph same like ipad styles pen and more sensitive better than ipad styles pen. you must give business men, students and painters easy use and give them more programs. give them good price or half price of ipad.

 • It's true. Even after I updated it to Oreo and did a complete wipe, I noticed when I play mobile legends even at lowest graphic settings I get stutters every now and then. Take note, I only had mobile legends and clash of clans installed. No other apps except the system apps. Very bad for gaming. Though watching videos is a kinda good experience

 • Buy S3 , S4 just be rumour

 • A very better tablet from Samsung but why without NFC , IR ,and radio +rds !!!!?One of the Note previous Samsung had 8000 + mAh battery ! I have to add that its nowadays price is more than $ 1000 somewhere which is unaffordable for the absolute majority !!! I don't knowwhat to say just tthanks....

 • i think u can buy tab s3. tab s4 will expensive. that's my opinion....

 • Should I buy that one or wait for the S4 to arrive because my Tab S2 9.7 has been broken ? I'm afraid that the cost of fixing the s2 mightn't be worth it So give me your opinions please , I really need your help .

 • There's no option like that but you can just change the display mode to suit your media needs. But it's worth the update. It became faster and better battery time because there is less bloatware. There's a lot of unnecessary apps removed after the update

 • There is no option like that in the video player after the update.

 • There is no option like that in the video player after the update.

 • Bro, does the update also consists of video enhancer i.e the option which makes ordinary video look brighter and saturated. I have had this option in my S7 edge since nougat. Is that feature also added?

 • Yes it is. Enabling the Dolby Atmos makes the volume louder and richer than it turned off.

 • Can anyone comment about the Dolby audio in the new update? Is it a noticeable improvement?

 • battery life has improved...tab..has become smoother...now more battery..4 wtng..videos...👍👍&#128077;

 • The update brings samsung experience version 9.0, indeed the UI is now smooth and more responsive compared when it was on Nougat. The refresh rate when using MS Word and scrolling up and down is still not as good as Ipad pro but its understandable because the latter has a 120 hz screen. I advise everyone who owns this tablet to update. Its better than before, battery life is just the same as usual. I usually had almost 8 hrs SOT when browsing using data and not WiFi maybe it will last longer.

 • Now give us feedbacks

 • Oreo update has started in many more countries now for this device. :)

 • Why? Because of OS. iOS or Android are simple, mobiles OSes. If you use your laptop just to browse the web and change your facebook status, you be fine. But if you use your laptop for actual work or games ... you buy yourself a full experience PC.

 • Mine is updating right now. I'll check it out later if what you're saying is true.

 • Why?

 • No

 • Tab S3 updated to 8.0 with April security patch here in India. UI is more fluid and great work by samsung

 • Lenovo is still making android tablets. Although. The problem with the unit is the lack of OS updates and unit availability.

 • Does it suitable for laptop replacement?

 • No, India is not loyal customers of Samsung. India is more loyal to Xiaomi as I can see. That is what you get for not being loyal. Ok bye.

 • any idea if Tab S4 is coming anytime soon ?

 • With an alphabet soup of tablet manufacturers whose true aim is to lure us in on the premises. Next model price increases every year. Much needed updates are few and far between. I read somewhere. On average . Theres a minimum of 18 months.. alot of this congestion could be drastically reduced.. standardized existing technology. The inner working of a phone would fit quite nicely with just enough real Estate for better placement and better Speaker material . Bigger battery and have the back half of the tablet made from military grade aluminum.

 • If only they could add more resolution to much up with the older version tab s,l would consider buying it.

 • My tab s3 is struck on August 2017 security patch sinces ages here in India. Its so worst when rest of the world is having like atleast Jan 2018 patch. This is flagship tablet for samsung here in India and this is how Samsung treats its loyal customers.

 • Ignore the price, buy the keyboard bookcase, this tablet is the best ever table with complete phone functions (unlike the competitors: iPad or Zenpad 3S no call or sms). I have using this tablet for months and satisfied

 • It took just two days to realize that the Samsung S3 was very nicely packaged crap at a phenomenally exhorbitant price. Basically, it is a sales arm for Google apps. Not only that, but I couldn't even create a Google account because Google insisted that I already had one - one that my wife inadvertently hijacked from her Mac - I have a PC. When I attempted to contact Samsung support, I was informed that I would have to wait in a queue for about 8 hours for a technician. If I wanted to do a chat with a technician, I needed to create an account. I'm sorry, I don't want spend my life dancing attendance on a computer. The Samsung will be returned for a refund today, or, if there is no refund, I will trash the unit and dump it as trash.

 • for some reason most (if not All) Android manufacturers have stopped making flagship tablets (and switched to low end) just after the release of snapdragon 820 the only flagship table manufacturers left are Apple I prefer Android because it is open source (easy to customize and upgrade) and less bugy

 • Here's the sum up of pros and cons for each tablet with their pens: iPad Pro 10.5 over Tab S3: Exponentially better preformance. (3900 SINGLE CORE, compared to 1600, that's 144% better than the S3) Bigger screen. (9.7 < 10.5) 4 Smart speakers. stereo, enviroment aware for output. (the S3 has Mono speaker) Better selfies (7MP compared to 5 MP) propertiary dock for the keyboard. (nothing like that on the S3) pen has 0.01ms delay. (Compared to 1ms delay on wacom pens) and lastly: higher STB ratio (78.3% VS 72.7%) Higher storage options (64 GB base, all the way up to a cathedral sized 512 GB of storage!) Galaxy Tab S3 Over IPro 10.5: It's android. meaning you're free to costumise it. Cheaper (according to GSMarena 540EUR vs 730EUR) Lighter and smaller in body (429 grams, compared to 464 grams) No need to charge the pen. has Micro SD for all your fun. and lastly. fast charge support (QC2 enabled) Pen specifications: Apple Pencil: Pressure rates: 2048 levels. Latency: 0.01ms (measured by me. I had to since I need to test apps with that thing) tilt rates: 55 both directions. Battery size: 65mAh chargable via the propertialy male Lightning port. weight: 42 grams. length: 17.88mm Samsung S-Pen SL21596. Pressure level: 2048 Tilt recognision: 60 Latency: 1ms Battery size: None. there's no need to charge that thing. weight: 49.4grams. length: 18.24mm these should get you a good decision.

 • I went with the tab s3. The ipads pencil has an internal battery you need to keep charged, which was a pretty big dealbreaker for me. The tab s3's stylus uses the same tech as wacom tablets, and is wirelessly powered when it gets close to the tablet screen.

 • Tab s2 is the killer ........

 • Can anyone please tell me which one is better for drawing, the tab S3 or the iPad pro 10.5 with the Apple pencil? How is the accuracy, parallax effect and pressure sensitivity of the s-pen compared to the Apple pencil ?

 • Does it has USB on the go?

 • Upgraded because I walked my sister's dog. TabA wasn't up to being used as an axe against attacking dog, it didnt notice. All survived save the tablet, dog owner upgraded me. Can't complain.

 • No theme store ! No Always on display ! Only 32 GB internal memory ! All same like Tab S2. Not an upgrade !

 • No MHL support for connecting the tablet to hdmi tv. However it does connect to USB drives

 • No IR blaster, bad

 • Pls why ur Devices doesnt have inbuilt RADIO? Had it been I went through ur Devices specification before I bought I gues I wudnt have bought cos of this RADIO issue

 • when we will see the next tablet from Samsung Samsung (Galaxy Tab S4 ) .

 • Super

 • You're probably too fast. Try slowing down your pace.

 • You can get the LTE model if you want so the Wi-Fi model isn't the only model of the Tab S3.

 • Yes, it's possible to move them.

 • Dearest quality seeker knowledge enthusiast gsmArena followers. With respectto $ 500 price that hopefully comes down worldwide ,this is a good tablet according to the specifications. But it could have been much more unique one with Bluetooth 5.1 +its auxiliaries , NFC ,infrared , radio plus rds ,at least 8500 mah battery,OTG ....Hopefully with uncle Samsung endeavor in next S4 tablet series we feel the changes plausible with 6 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of ROM plus a dedicated memory slot to have the best most perfect tablet of 2018 and even 2019....My dearest readers. These are merely friendly suggestion to Samsung as a neutral friend whom likes perfection that may uncle Samsung accept it through its public relations....Thanks all plus gsmArena that follow Justice Rights of people's interests....

 • but i love to see tab s 8.4 v2 with some major change......like dual sim upgrade camera micro sd dedicated slot upgrade fingerprint scanner down side earphone port usb type c charging port and finally 18:9 ratio display with no side bezel....after that no one can beat samsung at this field......

 • can games be moved into the micro SD card??

 • This tablet, for those that don't know, is available in a wifi only model which comes with 128gb of internal memory. I believe this is a Best Buy USA exclusive...

 • i have it and it does have it. but when you want to edit the files it asks you to sign in with a microsoft account.

 • Yes it has excel, word, powerpoint, PDF ... and you can sign on the Pdf files directly .. I have it and I love it so much

 • friends , is this tab having microsoft excel and word

 • Opening a lot of apps makes it slow coz it ate a lot of RAM. Close every app after using to gain more RAM.

 • Sometimes, i get "no sim card inserted" error, and i have to restart my tab s3? Anyone have same issue?

 • Amazing tablet :) no lagging, quick, very good display, fantastic speakers.

 • Have any one noticed this tablet still doesnt got Theme store and Always on display !? despite being a flagship.

 • that is touchwizz..

 • Sounds like every laptop i ever use.

 • review after using for a few months. frankly speaking kinda disappointed on the gaming performance. 1st few months are totally fine, smooth as ever and it can handle long hours of gaming. recently encounter serious lag when I play for more than 40 mins. FPS drop drastically and it advise me to lower down the graphic setting, which I did, and fps stays as low as ever. test game on mobile legend & freefire. I gotta rest the tablet for 10 mins or so in order for me to cont smooth gaming experience.

 • This tablet is just spec bump version of Tab s2 with fragile glass black . I dont see any difference when comparing both the display.

 • surprisingly good sound and color quality!! Also I could use it as smartphone with LTE 4G for DATA. Wonderful! But the It is ugly using for hand phone too big and inconvenient. Samsung is stingy for the memory. I am expecting Samsung would upgrade new version to 8GB main memory 256GB for internal storage. Good luck Samsung !!!!!

 • because you're putting too much apps on it and don't close them

 • why is it so slowwwww????

 • Hey Sammy! Where's my oreo?

 • That's right. Both have poor ergonomics naked. You need cases to make them usable.

 • the design is similar to ipad pro apple really inspires samsung

 • Can you change the cable or the charger and try it again?

 • I know. Mine is full after 5 weeks. Wating for Sony to release its next tablet.

 • It is indeed a great pity that the GalaxytabS# did not come with at least 64gb possibly even 128 gb of on-board memory. This tab missed a golden opportunity to beat the quest for notebooks with detachable screens- where users were looking for something lighter and more portable than a laptop. In my case the mere downloading of the basic microsoft word excel power point, apps as well as cam scanner, adobe acrobat reader and adobe acrobat converter to word consumed 10gb of data- almost one third of the on board memory. There is also talk that it is not advisable to put a 256gb micro-SD card in as this will make the device very slow-How true that is remains to be seen.

 • My tab s3 won't charge anymore I bought it two months ago. Please can anyone help me.

 • Wish it had snapdragon 835 and 6 GB of ram. Also, it would be nice for it to have 64 and 128 GB storage options because its a tablet, you are going to have to store games, movies, software updates, videos and files especially if you are going to attach the keyboard to it and use it like a computer. I know it has an sd card slot but still, more the merrier. hope the tab s4 has all of the above and infinity display.

 • 4G is upper version of 3G....it supports all apps which are supported previously. Basically, it transmission of data while applications are operating system dependent. 4G means live video chat enabled

 • Upgrading from Tab A 10.1 (P585) to this Tab S3 is really worth it. S3 is a lot faster, responsive, lighter and thinner. The only downside is the battery life. It barely holds for 2 days on the normal usage, while the Tab A held for almost 4 days (I'm not a gaming type person). Compared to IPad pro which in the similar price range, S3 is off course on the lower level of performance, but in the term of practicality, S3 is a better option for me. Thanks to its OTG capability. The quad speakers also sound very well. So far, it is the best tablet for me up to today.

 • please some one answer me if upgrade tab s3 to android 7.0.1 like android note 8 can use commend like translate or live message like in note8 ?

 • Does Any one knows if the 4G version support whatsupp and imo voice calls ?

 • Ripped off the iPad screen. The screen resolution and screen size.

 • Best Tablet for now. I want to see a tablet with SD 845 when Qualcomm releases it.

 • It does not support " VOLTE " ! 2G/3G/LTE Only!

 • Buy it if you need phone features and sms. I've seen asus tablets but they are available in my country. Check out lenovo offerings

 • guys ... can use google translate app in multi window mode with another app?? and about the pen translate ability ... does it work in every apps in translate mode with S pen? i mean in google books app or any pdf reader or news app ... or something like these

 • This tablet is great in everything, but it has 2 big flaws: 1. Back/home/tab buttons are on the case. When you hold the tab vertically everything is fine. But if you are using it horizontally, then tough luck, because these buttons move to the right side. Which means you cant hold the tab with ur right hand alone, and the buttons constantly get in the way constantly - i keep pressing them accidentlly, and its annoying. 2. 10:9 aspect ratio sucks. Youtube and movies usually have 16:9 or 16:10, so 9.8inches becomes ~6in for videos.

 • Is that new or used?

 • Lately I discovered that the 2 pin charger of this tab is so huge that it doesn't go in to the usual 2 pin socket with pocket (generally found in the wall). I am not talking about the 2 pins but the white body which contains the 2 pins. The body itself is bigger than the normal pocket of sockets. So, if you are in airport, hotel or somewhere where the female 2 pin plug is inside the pocket you can not charge with its original charger (or you need a multi-plug). Why the hell Samsung introduces such inconvenient acessories? It is not necessary to be bigger in size for fast charger, because many other previous fast chargers are in usual/normal size and handy. I was suffered when I traveled as I could not charge it and also my Spen nib/tip was broken because it did not have any pen cover (and I did not carry spare with me). Now, every time I travel I should ensure usual size 2 pin charger and Spen nibs spares with me. This is really not practical and convenient SAMSUNG! :(

 • I neglected to mention there are 2 important reasons why NOT to root your device. One is that it voids the warranty (not an issue if you are beyond the warranty period, though) and the other is, if it is rooted, you are more vulnerable to successful attacks that may gain root privileges on your device because whatever you launch as the user, who is actually root, runs with such privileges. With the worst wireless vulnerability on the horizon that has made every wireless device vulnerable till patched, this is definitely something to concern yourself with. Just take the steps as I have advised and you won't need to root your device. As for what you ask about my opinion on purchasing the S3 or not, what I can tell, there are definite advantages to the S3. I got the S2 at Amazon for an amazing price that still to this date isn't offered anywhere, not even on Amazon anymore (price was a limited time offer). The S3 has improved on some significant things over the S2: battery life is longer, RAM is 33% larger, and the sound system looks on paper to be amazing. My S2 display is really impressive, so the S3 will not disappoint. As far as performance, I have a 32GB S2 with only 3GB and it sings. I have added countless apps to it, too, including Norton Antivirus (not an endorsement, but do get some sort of malware protection to protect your investment of both time and money). I have no performance issues at all after only basic performance tuning (just removed or froze bloatware and some stock apps). The only thing I regret is putting a 64GB sd card in it instead of a 128GB or more. I know I just have to copy it over to a new SD card, but now I have to buy an SD card reader/writer. Just be careful with whatever case you get. My S2 case's USB flap put far too much pressure on the charging cable. Only 6 months into using the case, I started to have charging problems, but thought the cable had the problem. I kept switching cables and each failed quickly one after the other until I realized it might be the USB port. I cut the flap off to relieve the pressure, but it was too late. The port stopped taking a charge 3 months later. I know it wasn't the battery because I would jimmy the way the cable sat in the port and was still able to get a charge till it completely failed. Word of warning: Samsung refused to honor my warranty because the serial number of the device was not on any sales receipt. Make sure you get your device signed up with Samsung along with it's serial number immediately after purchase. Needless to say, when I get my device back, I will be ordering a different case. From what I can tell, many have that flap problem. Cutting it off is key, but realize that if you needed it to be dust proof or, if the case does this, water resistant, it won't be if you cut that off. For me, that's a small price to pay after the damage it received. I also dropped it far more than I ever imagined. Just dumb luck I guess. I'm won't be using the current case I have for it anymore and will be ordering an Otterbox case for it next. I been through all the Amazon reviews and this seems to be the only one worthy of its protection claims. It's pricey, but the repairs are much more expensive if your device is ever damaged in a fall. My favorite case is the ballistic case, but Go Ballistic doesn't manufacture cases anymore. After what I read up on the S3, if I can find it for a really good price, I would get it and give the S2 to my mother and father (I support all their computing needs and they need a new tablet). I only say "for a really good price", because I would need incentive to buy another tablet over the S2. In other words, I do think the S3 is definitely worth it! Good luck with your decision!

 • You have yet to learn how to performance tune for Samsung Galaxy devices. I have yet to root a single device I have gotten my hands on and I have stripped out bloatware and disabled many stock apps. This isn't done with any stock apps, either. I have an unrooted Samsung Galaxy S5 phone that I still have room to optimize and I am now streaming Netflix, Youtube, Sling TV to my TV set using Google Comcast (the "Home" app). Yes, I actually successfully do this from my S5 right now because my Tab S2 is in for repairs to the USB port. Think of the following for performance tuning apps to look for (I won't endorse any single app, you need to find what you like): 1. Get apps that can disable/remove any and all apps you have no use for. There are 4 ways to do this and I employ all 4. One you mentioned, find an app that moves apps to the sd card. The others are: - Find an app other than play store that allows you to remove apps. Such an app will list some of the bloatware. It is trial and error in the long run to really determine what to turn off. Cross one bridge at a time as to not brick your device (this advise applies throughout). - Find app that can "freeze" other apps. - Find app that "disables" "packages" (that's your hint on what to search for in the play store, but know that "package" means the same as "app" here). 2. Get an app that limits what can be started at boot time (very important). 3. Cache cleaners are a must, but also consider routinely cleaning cache automatically by some set time interval. I only recently decided to try to schedule cache cleaning and I didn't realize how useful it could be. Find such an app and make sure that you can "ignore" cleaning some apps' caches (hint: they are typically the ones that you want at boot time, too) 4. Find an app that tells you what apps are running. The Galaxy Tab S2 comes with a nice "Smart Manager" app. It has the ability to kill apps that shouldn't be running in the background (no ignore list, though). I actually have an app that cleans caches, manages what apps starts at boot AND allows me to kill apps or "force stop" them. As a bonus, it allows me to set which apps to ignore when killing (a.k.a., stop from running) the apps. You can also see what apps are running without adding a new app. Just turn on debug on the device (google how to do this) and in the debug category under settings, there is an option to view the currently running apps. I'm sure I can find a better way to say this all succinctly, but I don't have the time to polish this atm. I must stress though, be very careful with what you do here. Some things can literally brick you device if you aren't careful as to what you shutoff or clean cache on. If you aren't sure if an app can be disabled, search for it's function. My favorite package disabler app actually has an option from within the app to search for the function of the "app in question." It's definitely nice to not have to leave the app just to search the net for a description of what it does. Happy performance tuning!!

 • Thank you for your reply , do you advise to buy this Tablet or no ...

 • Samsung designed a very good tablet but decided to leave out the memory. Putting 64gb was not enough. Slow and many programs cannot move to sd card. Excel will also not open directly from the sd card. Very disappointing and intentional move by samsung. I wish google will make another tanlet

 • From 7am to 8pm battery at 12%. 55mins calls, whatsapp, viber, sms, youtube, chrome and lots of excel amd powerpoint. I will normally use the tablet to present to at least 3 clients a aday. I do not play games or listen to music. Youtube is mainly watchi g nba highlights

 • You can use any usb device as long as you can get usb c to usb a adapter. I use mine with 2 flash drives and moving access database and videos using 2.5" hdd. More than of the time i use a bluetooth mouse when working on ms office apps

 • It doesn't have led notifications. I wish samsung would include this in their next tablet. You can use the flash as a notification light.

 • From the first look at this Samsung tab s3 I was delighted! I could not believe how beautiful it looked! Very smooth feel and round edges. I was happy that it didn't look too rounded as this would of thrown me off. The glass back is a bit worrying as I'd not want to drop it at all!! As this would leave it badly damaged and this would be very upsetting!! As I like to keep my electronics free from scratches and any marks. But I'm sure Samsung will make the next one all alloy " and that would be nice. Anyhow, this is a very responsive tablet, and if had this thing running hard and it did not bring a tear of sweat. It's android operating system runs very smooth with no lagging that I had. This is one thing I've witnessed a difference since having the tab S' back 2 years ago that lagged abit from time to time and got me stressed, but not with this, as i assumed is due to the 4 gig if ram!! No lagging" thank you Samsung!! About time!! 😁 4k videos play seamlessly and bright vivid picture, due to that amazing spec and AMOLED screen. Also Plays games with no glitches fast and with no screen tearing!, i can not find a fault anywhere! Pure Beauty all around. And those 4 stereo speakers sound amazing, so clear. And when you enable surround stereo WOW!! Movies and games sound brilliant. The pen that cones with it makes a lot of things easier when texting or just using the web, it wakes thing a lot easier if you have big fingers and finding hard to write. Theirs many many features to find out what you can do with the pen, and I'm sure I'll find them all, it's like looking through the looking glass with this tablet, theirs so many things it can do ' to make peoples electronic life easier. Great idea with the stylus. The camera is great also, very clear and videos with fantastic quality looks very bright clear shots, the front facing camera is great for selfies seems clear enough for me, and theirs a great feature to swop from front to back camera, with just a swipe down on the screen, and that's it, brilliant. I'm not much of a camera Expert so I can't really say that much more about it. I did look at other tablets before making my choice, and to be honest I'm a Android man, I love android device's, but I had a look at the iPad pro tablet, and to be honest" it wasn't a spec on beauty to the Samsung tab s3, It just felt the one for me. The black Samsung tab s3 is the first choice in buying a tablet that gets everything done in one place. And is definitely my first choice. You cannot go wrong. Iv fell in love with my tablet, and I'm sure I'll never leave it alone...😚😁👍 Thank you Samsung!!!

 • does it support VOLTE ?

 • Can we connect this Tab to an external Hard disk drive or any USB flash memory or USB Hub ...

 • Been using it for 2 months now. Best productivity tablet.

 • More than 10 hours...

 • Front Notification led doesn't work???

 • Company says that the tab is volte support. But next time company says no its not.

 • This tablet is high on my list. I don't have an oppinion(or a tablet right now). I NEED an answer. Among all the people that have left comments, has anybody, with a photo app of their choice tried to view a large size image? I am talking 10mb or more. I do a lot of collages and just general editing. I'm googled out. Please help. I also need my netflix fix.

 • Pl read my sentence....."Best sound ever from any tablet I have heard." I have heard

 • No, better sound than the iPad Pro is this tablet plus a Bose sound system. Better sound and cheaper price.

 • I

 • Best sound... You probably haven't heard of the mediapad m3 or the iPad pro 12.9... That is the greatest sound as far as a tablet gets

 • 100% true. I am using this tab since 22th June. The best thing about this tab is its sound quality. 4.0 channel left no words to express. Best sound ever from any tablet I have heard.

 • I have owned this device now for 4 months and I treasure it everyday and the daily use of the tablet is just a joy. Crystal clear display , long battery life, brilliant sound. I don't understand the negative comments. Did you not compare and research the product before the time?

 • Attention This device does NOT support the NFC

 • Somebody who own this Tab s3 can tell me how many hours does the battery last in real life? Watching videos on yourtube and watching movies by micro sd card. Reading movies by sd card will push the tab to use more energy I think...

 • Don't ever buy Samsung micro SD cards. Buy Sandisk or Kingstone 10 Class U3. Those read up to 100mb/s and record up to 90mb/s beside you will never have these problems with corrupted files. I have one micro sd card kingstone 64gb class 10 U3 for 3 years, I travel a lot by airports then scanners always on my belongins and I have never had that corrupted files or I cannot read the pictures of videos with it. It was expensive 3 years ago but it has had the best micro sd card ever.

 • 2048x1536 - RGB Matrix

 • I have same problem with Samsung S5 Plus, first it corrupts files, then burns sdcard. I used Samsung 32gb evo and Sandisk card.

 • Roughly about 5 MW.

 • I perfectly understand and support your view about this tablet bro. I have also bought it around 2 months back. I paid Rs.47,990 (~ $750) for this tablet. When I opened the box I was shocked to see that there was no headphones to be found. Since this is being marketed as 'tuned by AKG', I thought we will be getting a headphone similar to what Galaxy S8 owners get. I would have been satisfied even if they have included the regular headphones. Also the USB type-C to microusb adapter was also nowhere to be found. I have seen many unboxing of this product and I have seen the headphones included in the box. Additionally I bought Samsung level u Bluetooth headphone along with this. It didn't even include a charging cable. Some may say that I may be having some spare cables. But is it too much to ask for a charging cable. So I called the customer care about this issue and got a rude response that I need to check the product contents label before buying. I have bought both the items from a local retail store. They explained the highlight features but I think they should also explain about the missing contents to the customers. Also 32Gb of storage just doesn't seem right for this price. I made a mistake by buying this product but I will never ever make the same mistake again.

 • After of two months of use it does not charge . I get it to samsung service and they told me that it faults the battery chip but there is not spare part for that . I am WAITING to fix it for a tablet of value 560 euros.

 • I should add few more on this device since I have used it for nearly 2 months now. I donÂ’t understand why Samsung discriminates with Asian customers. They launched just recently in India Jun/July at around US$ 750 after many months of its launch in USA and Europe. I bought it in Delhi (only LTE version available; SM-T825) two months ago and now available in Nepal also at around US$ 800 (why such a hefty price?). No accessories were available, not even cover keyboard, but the frustration was it didnÂ’t not include headphone in pack. However, the device is actually what I was looking for since before itÂ’s launch a strong tab with s-pen. ItÂ’s a perfect device for me. However, it has few issues as well, such as: The S-pen is separate and there is no space to keep in the tab. Therefore, the S pen nib remains open always and does not have a cap. Therefore, while keeping it open and moving to pocket or bag can damage the nib sooner. Having Note series phone is good with it as I can use my Note 4Â’s Spen. The S penÂ’s is around the place where you hold the pen to write. When you are writing you end up clicking this and unintentionally click it is annoying. Talking about Note taking software, the major app for s-pen and note taking it is very frustrating that the ‘Samsung NotesÂ’ does not have ‘handwriting conversion to textÂ’ facility. It's really frustrating. I discovered that it was actually made for Note series on 'S Note' app. There should be no reason to include this option in S3 as it can do everything a Note device can do. Anyway, I resolved this issue by copying S Note app from my Note 4 device as a 3rd party apps. Then it worked perfectly in S3 tab on S Note. However, bear in mind that S Note app also doesn't have 'handwriting to text' option as default. But you should go to 'More features' and download and install 'Extension pack' from a Note series device (it's not available to download for S3 or other devices) from Samsung apps. ItÂ’s better to have more than 32 GB internal memory.

 • Yes. You are right. I used SanDisk 64gb and 128gb, same problem. Today I ordered Samsung PRO+ 256gb. Lets see what is happening!!!! Card problem? or Android 7 read/ write permission problem? or tab hardware problem????? Pl suggest if anyone is tech savvy here.

 • How much screen on time can you have in this tablet

 • Common Samsung SD card not an option because halt time it's just corrupting files, put more proper memory in device

 • Bt u can use sd in it

 • 32 GB internal memory in 2017 ?????? I want at least 128 GB in a tablet - tablet is meant to store large volumes of music, pictures, video, books, magazines. I have a Chinese phone Xiaomi Mi Mix that has 256 GB memory !!!!!! 32 GB ?? come on Samsung, wake up

 • 32 GB not at all enough.

 • Do not White color in Tab s3 T825 only Silver and Black

 • When I bought this S3 it' was a gtpreat described moment it unbelievable the pics and the weight it's light it's like a clipboard easy to fold I can even store it IN My glove compartment in a cab . I lost my styler can I have info when to get one

 • Fernando, The Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M, des not have LTE. But it's twin the Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500KL, does have LTE and more !! So go out and get one !!

 • What's the resolution of tab s3? Is it And Or Fhd

 • Jio Volte is not working

 • 32GB internal storage, what a joke. the Tab S is 32GB. the Tab S2 is 64GB but the Tab S3 is 32GB. $1000 toy and no space to run apps.

 • Since last 1 month I am following up with Jio for this offer. More than 30 40 phone calls and 8 to 10 mails....... Not succeeded yet.

 • Thanks for v good review. I purchased this tab s3 on 22 June 2017. 2 months gone. So can add and update something in this review. 1) Its Gorilla glass 5 (also at backside) so its virtually scratchproof. 2) When 100% charged, MAX battery saving mode extends battery life to 60+ hrs. 3) If want to use JIO, be careful........ as its not VoLTE, huge connectivity problem (yes.... at some places outdoor also). 4) Sound quality is awesome (4.0 channel speakers). 5) Display is v v good and extreme sharp. Pl install "night mode" app if want to use in dark for long time. 6) As android, MicroSD card support is very limited. cant read/ write media files (photos, movies) at 100% accuracy. 7) Camera is v good. As it have f2.8 wide aperture, can take low light photos with very low noise. My earlier tab was Samsung Tab 4. Its much much advance than that. 100% recommended.

 • I totally agree! It's almost half as good as the S3 too!

 • What? The S3 destroys the S2...what are you talking about?

 • Yes it can.

 • You damaged your battery somehow, I mean, 20% drain is unheard of anymore especially in a Samsung tablet. And I doubt your last iPad had 18 hour battery life

 • Is there Tab S3 7 or 8 inches?

 • Thanks for the details

 • Need larger storage size- the books i purchased, glanced at google store, often amounted to size over 15GB, then i had to delete all the downloaded data and fresh start again. the "move data to external sd card" function never works. please release 64GB version if possible. Need larger display- reading digital magazine, books has become new hot demand. the original magazine often designed with a width larger than 14.8cm. magazine must come with fixed pictures, text, layout, means no way to adjust font size. can only enlarge the whole page. reading magazine on a 14.8cm wide tab, means having to reduced size of the page to read, or keep on zooming and shifting the area of page. IPAD has released version in 11", 13". TAB should follow suit. can release a 11" version soon? 11" display means 16.8cm width of display. great improvement. Get more great apps land on the android- I discovered the Cambridge dictionary app is currently IOS only. any ways to make such similar apps land onto the android platform? the user base of android is huge already. Will i get an IPAD because of some IOS exclusive app? maybe so.

 • *their *grammar

 • How much power can the usb port supply?

 • How much power can the usb port supply?

 • At first, the tablet really seem impecable. Its fast, feels reliable, its not heavy, the screen is awesome and with the keyboard it replaced the laptop for my work. I previously owned an ipad and the tab s3 is definitely better. But as time goes by it shows some flaws. Its not as quality built as the ipad. the charger connector is already kinda loose, id doesnt feel sturdy at all. The keyboard is not very well fit with the magnetic litle conectors so when you touch it or reposition the tablet, for example when you are watching netflix or something, it locks the screen thinking the keyboard was removed! so you cannot move the tablet with the keyobard attached because its very loose and it will lock the screen all the time. Also the battery is a real disappointment, it doesnt last half the time my previous ipad 2 lasted, and the ipad was 5 years old! It will drain more then 20% during the night with the tablet locked with absolutelly no use... very annoying! Other than that i just dont believe there is a better tablet in the market right now. But the tab s3 could be a lot better with minor improvements.

 • Guyz, can the LTE version (sm-t825) make and receive phone calls? Anyone can confirm??

 • A pretty good tablet. However, a microcd-card is quite needed if you play much of games. 128 Gb card costs about 40-50€. S-pen is amazing and quick charger also. I think 550€ would be a proper price for this tablet. Prices are unfortunately too high in the northern countries now..

 • It is an upgrade for Tab S user and for Tab S2 user no need to upgrade !

 • That's impossible. In which country do you have these prices because in saudi arabia its worth 2230 SR (594.6 usd)!!!!!

 • Guyz, forvsm-t825... does it support making and receiving voice calls? Or just LTE for data?

 • Mine has LTE. Might be your provider that doesn't, or your country?

 • Sure, but it doesn't have LTE.

 • guys the price are very low now go and buy.... i'm not sure but the price are less than 220$ it is very good tap in this prices

 • Go and BUY the ASUS Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M !! It's loaded and now gets the Droid 7.0 download as well ... !! It's priced just below $300.00 !! Doesn't have da Pen, but that's no big loss. Go and get it !! Break away and be free from the Sammy grasp that has a hold on you... !! It's one nice piece of work, this ASUS ZenPad is. It's GREAT !!

 • See dude here issue is that everything which is cheaper outside India isnt cheap in india when it enter's India's market , so apple is expensive like 65,000 for ipad + 9000inr for apple pen is 74000 inr why or how and who will buy it even a professional cant afford it easily wherever samsung has mid range phones too like tablets under 20000inr so thats why samsung is still in this market , Apple processor is and will be far better then any samsung phones but its too expensive nd samsung brings something different and the biggest problem is the LCD TFT do people buy something same ? I guess not for me atleast something new would attract you like AMOLED did it was a diffrent approach for the screen watching view. In the end bro Apple is better but again India people prefer something cheap with good specs like OnePlus thats why Apple dont stand chance to overtake India market. Samsung brings something new like S bike ,Bixby , samsung Knox etc , thats why samsung is still good choice. Apple is better in other countries it cant sustain here.

 • Almost the perfect android tab but the one and only con is 32GB internal storage. I agree that 32GB is more than enough for many but for the price, I just cant understand how atleast 64GB was not made the base storage option.

 • It's more than perfect...best tab ever made by Samsung

 • a good tab; but the 32 gb rom, it is shame full, at least 64 gb

 • Samsung is a good hardware, but the 32GB RAM is a shameful limitation. No way...

 • Hi Bro, I think you need a clear cut opinion about Samsung Galaxy Tab S 3. ACCORDING TO ME although this tablet is good among all the Android tablets currently in the market, it is not worth the money you would expend in procuring one. This opinion will extend to every other tablet in the market. It is wiser to expend your money in a Windows or Mac laptop. If you've deep pockets then you may consider this tablet if you prefer Android or choose from one of Apple's if you prefer iOS.

 • Thanks a lot bro. Finally after some searching, I ordered a tab s3 flip cover just today. Also I was having a old laptop screen guard unused. I cut that according to the tab's measurement, not perfect but it will suffice. Thanks a lot for your suggestions bro!!

 • No

 • Does it have IR blaster?

 • Yes bro, Samsung galaxy tab s2 has same cutout in front screen i.e same place have front Camera, Proximity sensor and Fingerprint scanner at home button. It means you can have same Tempered Glass as S2 Models. For flip cover, While at rear end flash got different places in both tablet. Also cutout for charger and audio jack is in different places. While speaker at both upper and lower places has same place in both tablets. For crystal clear concept watch youtube link "https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8GDBtifFe3c" which shows total difference between both tablet physically and specification wise.

 • Does anyone got Jio double data offer with Samsung Galaxy Tab s3 as it is mentioned in Amazon website. If yes how do you redeemed it.

 • Tab s3 8 inch never made. This model came only with 9.7 inch.

 • Hi friends I would like to share my experience using Samsung Galaxy Tab s3 for 10-15 days. (Including my rating out of 10 in each mentioned category) 1. SCREEN: Superb SAmoled Screen with HDR ready so screen is excellent with 9.7 in. (10 Points) 2. CPU: It's more than OK however much be better with available Snapdragon Qualcomm Processor 835. Sometimes lags with heavy processing apps running simultaneously in background (7 Points) 3. STORAGE : About 20 GB user available. Could be 64 - 128 GB with such a costly Tablet. (5 Points) 4. S-PEN: Amazing doesn't need charging like previous model. Pressure sensitivity is better. Included Samsung Notes app is not as fluid as Google Keep (Notes taking app) or OneNote. However Offscreen handy note taking feature out due it. It means you don't have to unlock tablet just press the button given in S-Pen during touching the tablet screen. It activates the Offscreen note taking feature. After that just press the Power button to save it without going anywhere. (8 Points) 5. Samsung OS: Multi window is not available for all apps. Fast and responsive TouchWiz (launcher). Coupled with handy tools and free from crappie wares (useless apps). Includes Galaxy Apps store doesn't need because most apps available in Play store. My advice to use other available launchers with dark background to save battery. (6 Points) 6. BATTERY : With bunch of apps like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Jio Apps, Autodesk Sketchbook, Flipkart, Amazon, Ebay, Snapdeal, Compass, MS Office Apps(Word, Excel.. ), Google Keep, CamScanner, MX Player, Shareit, and off course Google Apps(Pre-installed Apps) , etc. it gives me approx. 1% down in 4-6 minutes while screen ON with mostly black background. And in standby mode with Mid Power Saving features ON 1-4% down in 8-10 Hours. Heavy battery draining takes during note taking using S-Pen. With continuously moderate browsing, 2 Hr movie, messaging, etc gives you 6-7 hours of JUICE from 95-100% battery until 10 % battery. With Adaptive Superfast Charging it takes full 3 Hrs to charge from 5-10% to 95-100%. Without Superfast charging it takes 6 hrs to charge from same level to 100%. My advice to use Fast Charging only when needed because it considerably reduces the life cycle of battery from 6-9 months. It can switched Off from Device Maintenance in Settings (7 Points) 7. SECURITY : Fingerprint is not very responsive as Apple however after placing approx. 1-2 sec it unlocks the tablet. Amazing Enterprise Security features with Samsung Knox. You can include personal files in Secure Folder and other information that precious to you. (9 Points) 8. CAMERA: Huge disappointment with quality of Camera. Low light camera features is not good. (6 Points) 9.GPU: Amazing no lag with Asphalt 8, Asphalt Extreme, Modern Combat, Modern Strike. Crisp and very detailed graphics. (8 Points) 10: LTE: Be clear that it is not VoLTE. Means to use Jio Sim install JioVoice. Configured with Cat 30 means 4G speed around 3 MBps. (8 Points) could be 10 if VoLTE enabled. 11. LOOK & FEEL: Premium looking tablet. Back panel is glassy however could be metal finished. Screen doesn't include Gorilla Screen or any other Scratch resistant screen. (7 Points) OVERALL: 7 My advice if you need note taking tablet around 50, 000 then, this is for you with handy voice calling feature as against Apple IPad. If you can spend 65, 000 (IPad Pro) +9000 (Pencil), then go for IPad pro.

 • T825C is code name given to Indian version of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Nothing else, but Samsung has introduced only LTE version of above tablet not WiFi.

 • I don't understand what's going on here* but instead* God* their* It's not our problem if your tiny brain can't process our English. We're not writing academic papers here so either grow a spine and live with it or take a hike.

 • It's a tablet it doesn't need to be mini however Apple was nice enough to make a 7'9 iPad Mini 4 which costs as much as the Tab S3 for the Wifi + Cellular 128GB. It's more powerful than the Tab S3.

 • Does galaxy tab s2 flip cover or case fit the galaxy tab s3. Accessories for tab s3 are pretty scarce right now. Can somebody please let me know?

 • I'm not understanding what's going on here. I started reading comments on the galaxy tab s3 in hopes of finding user opinions on the product and instead find myself reading an ongoing debate on almost anything else EXCEPT the actual product this is all supposed to be about not to mention the outright butchering of the english language and the UNBELIEVABLE misspelling of words and the proper placement of particular words and thier spelling. Not saying I am any better at spelling but, for the love of god ... you people are supposed to be adults. is this the spelling you use on legit forms and presentations for your jobs ? Does anyone actually read thier posted comment before entering ? it's called *proof reading* it's something we were taught in grammer school.

 • i have GT-5100 it is really usefull size. please, we are waiting tab s3 8"size. where is tab s3 mini ?

 • I considered the tab S3, but could not deal with only 32gb internal memory (really more like 22-23gb after os). I also wanted an lte version for travel. I ended up buying an Australian Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 64gb lte version off eBay, and couldn't be happier.

 • i have GT-5100 it is really usefull size. please, we are waiting tab s3 8"size. where is tab s3 mini ?

 • I repeat my query. what is the meaning of t825c model.

 • what does it mean t825c?

 • Yes, you have a valid point. Tablets currently cannot replace a laptop however they are for people who just want a larger mobile display like myself.

 • Almost similar to Tab S2 except the Chipset and RAM.Tab S3 is highly fragile due to its glass back when compared Tab S2 soft touch material !

 • Dear Bro, I don't believe in tablets since it is just a fancy toy according to me. I have a good touch laptop which is more sufficient for me. My first and last tablet is the Xiaomi mi pad 7.9 64gb version, which I use it just as a document reader and as a photo album. Manufacturers around the globe are doing their jobs and let us do ours. I'll not expend my hard earned money on any of the tablets in the market.

 • Exactly, and that's not good enough especially on a tablet they could have at the very least added 64GB.

 • You cannot move apps completely to the sd-card but can be moved partially. Depending upon the apps 30-80% can be moved to the sd-card. I take the responsibility in answering you because my previous message was incomplete.

 • Samsung, quit being stupid your scams are getting old we know we can't install apps on an SD card, next time add the latest Snapdragon and 256GB of storage like Apple. Warning: Unless you want to get stressed out and frustrated by a tablet go for the iPad Pro 10.5. If you buy a Tab S3 you might as well burn your money it has about the same effect.

 • Most apps won't let you move more than 1% of the total space they take on your Android device. It's a mess.

 • Then prove it, post a video showing us how to move a full app to an SD card on Android. Stop talking out of your behind you cannot install Android apps on an SD card and that's a fact. Think before you speak.

 • May I ask where is the 8" Tab S3????? Samsung look down on Tab S 8" user????

 • The world reads both of our messages. Let them take what they want. To agree or not to, is everyone's personal rights. I think this sounds more meaningful to my previous bla, bla, bla...

 • mr Anonymous y would i have to ask any cintiq user u r the 1 in doubt u ask.............i am also an wacom user..i dont use it cintiq though as my pocket money doesn't allow me to buy it (h eh hehhe heh )...! i didnt said that ipad is better than wacom i just gave some mr anonymous an eg .......like ur(For example a professional gamer will not consider tablets for gaming and would rather choose a good desktop or a gaming laptop or Xbox or PlayStation) its ur words right..............!some guy asked smsung galaxy tab s3 9.7 or ipad pro with apple pen will be better i simply replayed that guy by saying i pad will be good, and explained ipad benefits that all,so plz look at previous questions read it properly and then reply..................!! anddddd thnk u 4 readinggggggggggggg..................

 • whts wrng wid u gyus ?? i told u that some guy asked smsung galaxy tab s3 9.7 or ipad pro with apple pen will be better i simply replayed that guy by saying i pad will be good, and explained ipad benefits that all........!!! and u r replying bla blaaa blaa nonsense just look at previous questions read it properly and then reply..................!! and if u dnt knw wts going on then u can keep quite.....plzzzzzzzz. were did u learn this fact that world is more happier before when there is no computer come on man open ur eye look around u properly before its beautiful and knw its prettier, and second thing i don't knw about u but i don't live in illusion, and thnx for reading.

 • You can move with some Play Store apps , u can't move the full app but partially yes , how much apps u can install 5000000000 right ? then simple delete the one u dont use.

 • Why don't you ask any Wacom CINTIQ user as to whether they would consider iPad as an alternative. Though Wacom CINTIQ is called a tablet it is not the tablet in discussion. It is a specialized instrument used for professional digital drawings. IPad or any other tablet cannot even come near it. What I would like to convey is the tablets iPad and the like are used for simple official or personal purposes and are not for specialized professional purposes. For example a professional gamer will not consider tablets for gaming and would rather choose a good desktop or a gaming laptop or Xbox or PlayStation. As you've said there is a lot of difference between professional artists and on the go artists. Whatever be the case you shouldn't have called Wacom for the discussion. Everyone goes with their own beliefs. So do you and me. We have to believe in something to lead ourselves. Just go about what you are. Thanks for reading.

 • Why don't you ask any Wacom CITIQ user as to whether they would choose Apple's iPad as an alternative. Though Wacom CINTIQ is called a tablet it is not the tablet in discussion. Wacom CINTIQ is a specialised instrument for digital drawings. In this discussion you shouldn't have called Wacom.

 • I am very glad that you admitted about pencil can't be replaced digitally in real life. Just assume the value of Ravi Varma or Picasso painting. It is just because their paintings are not digital. As you've said digital drawings are for cartoons and the like. The world was more happier before when there were no computers. Since then we have begun to live in illusion. Just presume the extent of artificial intelligence killing the very presence of man kind. It was already expressed in the films like i-robot. I'm not trying to justify that our inventions are wrong but trying to make justifications as to how these inventions try to erode man kind. Everyone goes with their own beliefs. You've expressed yours and I expressed mine. Just go about what you are. All is well that ends well. Thanks for reading.

 • whats ur point ????? professional artist do use digital pen and tablets ask any wacom cintiq user its a new era.and ipad is the best solution in the market for on the go artist with the best tablet ecosystem on the planet,in japan, china and other country most of cartoon and anime key frames were drawn with digital pen and screen at 16 to 24 fps and here i m comparing ipad with samsung tab not with real life experience, in real pen and paper cannot be replaced by digital screen but i m sure technology will soon catch up to it.and for digital artist this is one of the best solution thats it.

 • Hi, I am also an artist. But I like oil on canvas or pencil on paper. Digital drawing has its own significance when comes to drawing for games and the like. But, I think, in that case professionals don't use tablets to fulfil their tasks. To be honest everyone knows the answers for everything but aren't ready to accept the realities of LIFE, TIME and MONEY. To be more sincere, tablets add more pleasure to some in their own ways but, pleasure is always about something as to how they perceive about it. I always wanted to be truthful to myself before being truthful to others.

 • A new misleading information.

 • Continued from my last message, viz., "Hi, if you've already bought one just be happy with the decision you've taken.............., Wishing you Good Luck." If you are a professional it is always wiser to rely on laptops than on tablets. I too have the Xiaomi mi pad 7.9 64gb version which is not good as you've said. This would be my first and last tablet in my life. I completely rely on my touch laptop just because they are more powerful than tablets. I use my tablet just as a reader and as a photo album. Moreover, I prefer Windows to Mac just because I've got used to it. In the same way I prefer Android to iOS. Think thrice before you expend your money on mobiles and tablets. Wishing you Good Luck once again.

 • You can't really move apps to an SD card without rooting and going through a complicated process, genius.

 • Hi, if you've already bought one just be happy with the decision you've taken. If you haven't... If you have asked to compare two or more android tablets, it is easier. But, I think comparing Android with iOS is not wiser since, both are different experiences. As far as the performance is concerned both the tablets you've mentioned are good. But, there are lot of factors that has to be weighed before you choose one. Though budget is the most important constraint it can be ignored when you've deep pockets. As far as iOS is concerned most of the apps are paid apps whereas in Android it is not the case and is the reason for android's share. Considering Samsung mobiles and tablets the most important factor to be considered is its Software. Their Androg software is well optimised and has better RAM (Memory), Processor and File management which are the basic tasks of an Operating System. There is nothing more to say and the decision is yours. Wishing you Good Luck.

 • 32GB is not enough on a 2017 tablet because you can't really move apps to an SD card not to mention that high capacity SD cards are expensive so you end up paying for an SD card only to be disappointed by the fact that non of your apps can be moved to it. I'd rather have nore internal storage than SD card support because an SD card can only store multimedia and work files but not applications and apps like GTA IV might be 8GB or more, Samsung needs to quit giving us such low capacity storage as a scam to sell us their future model which only has 32GB more.

 • if u r an professional artist than go for the new model it has 120 hertz display compare to 60 hertz means ur pen input time will be reduced by half round around 19ms compare to previous model 40ms or else older or newer oll ipad perform same

 • Thanks buddy, BTW do you know if there is new version of apple pencil enhanced for the new ipad pro 10.5 or the old one will be fine?

 • Hi everyone, am planning on buying either the new Apple iPad pro 12. 9 or Samsung Galaxy tab s3 for my business which includes sometime sketching for my clients on it or it better for me to wait for Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Thanks

 • go for i pad any model u want all over samy looks better but always remember apple eco-system were much better than android. works like games and watching videos opening and closing aaps are same on both eco-system but when u try to edit video and many other graphic intense work ios performs lot better coz ios apps were highly polished for i pad, compare to android.hope it helps u to decide

 • Hello, I am currently planning to buy either galaxy tab s3 or the new ipad pro 10.5. Can someone please suggest me which one I need to buy. I am upgrading from the original Xiaomi Mi Pad 7.9 which to be frank, was kind of disappointing. For the price of Rs.9000, it was decent but it was lagging in even basic games which is unacceptable with Tegra K1 chipset. Also memory management was not good, It can hardly keep 2 or 3 apps before reloading everything. As for the above mentioned choices, I also need the compatible stylus for note taking and drawing. Can someone please tell which is better, the apple pencil or the new s-pen in terms of precision and usability. Here in India, galaxy tab s3 is priced at Rs.47990 and the ipad pro starts from around Rs.53000. The thing is, apple pencil costs an additional Rs.9000. So kindly suggest as this will be for a long time usage.

 • 512gb micro SD cards doesn't still exists. I guess it exist but not sold yet. So i gotta wait a year or 2 more years to buy a micro SD for this tab and there's a better tab coming after two years. Lol

 • Super Amoled also burns itself (which lowers the price of the device when selling it to buy a new one) so I'd rather have a nice and bright LCD.

 • Yes, Apple devices are overpriced but they're usually as powerful as the Snapdragon version of the S series amd offer more storage for apps (the big ones Example iPad) as for the iPhone it's too small.

 • Are you serious ? You cannot move apps to an SD card on Android. Samsung ruined this one with their choice of storage and that's a fact, they think everyone falls for the SD card scam, you pay 100$ for it only to realize you can't move apps to SD.

 • You need to learn nore about phones, you cannot move apps to an SD card.

 • S8 only has 64Gb internal memory! Get an SD card if you want more memory space; this isn't an iPad!

 • So get an SD card!

 • No theme support yet for this flagship !

 • Yes this. Samsung needs to wake up. You can get 128gb Internal memory on their S8, S8+ and S7 Edge Black Pearl, yet this 'flagship' tablet only 32gb internal. Not cool.

 • Shocked to see no Theme support for Tab S3 !

 • No 512gb option a total disappointment

 • Got the S3 a couple of weeks ago, ditched my 4 month old ipad pro 9.7 and never looked back

 • Of course Im using tab s 705 8.4 excellent... TabS3 9.7 is not portable

 • still not available in India.......what a disappointment......

 • For such a premium pad it deserved atleast 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory!!!

 • when is it going to be available with a white face????

 • Comparing LCD , IPS , TFT Screen to Amoled. I Guess u dont even know the difference between these screens , feels sorry for you , first use this Samsung Tab S3 and then u can add as much review u want. You can go to store and atleast touch and use it as a demo they wont eat u or tell u must buy if u touched this Samsung Tab S3 , as it is expensive but no money will be charged seriously to touch it and use it for a demo purpose

 • It is expensive but i used only Samsung till now so i know performance will be good for sure , Used Samsung Tab S 8.4" and it worth single penny which i spent on it.

 • well Apple just screw it , dont mention apple who sells there 4.5 inches phone in such a high range that to buy it just sell ur kidney and more over Apple iPad Pro , IPS Screen , LCD , TFT are we buying TV or wat ? go see the comparision Apple provides IPS Screen and TFT's which are not up to the mark and the reason why they dont is because the era is now of AMOLED and i find AMOLED i got Samsung Tab S3 i am using it from since 2014 when it just got released i had it in my hands in 14 days the LTE Version had no issues till now , so Samsung does sell there products too expensive but only fewer of them fails to provide what they promised of , Samsung Tab S3 is expensive but will be better then iPad Pro 9.7' and i am sure about it

 • Still previous Tab are better . Tab S and tab S2 much better

 • The best tablet is samsung s8.4 t705 with good screen ratio, for watch ultra hd video,,performance is good after 3 years for surf web pages ,youtube, and much, much more.Only battery is bad in this model, but, never mine. After 3 years ,is very good tab device.

 • Here at philippines you will get free samsung bluetooth heaset worth 100 usd.

 • Again 4:3 ratio?, seems samsung don't want to listen his customers. What about the flash light?.

 • well sd820 with 2k display simply over power ipad pro

 • Malaysia finally announce tab s3, with the price of rm2999..... so far no freebies. kinda disappointed, if u add a few hundred bucks u can get the s8/s8+ with exynos 8895..... 1st time I see Samsung tablet is way more costly than ipad pro 9.7 (approx. rm2600++)

 • When you say that all are idiots except you, it follows that you are wiser. But a person with great wisdom will not speak in the manner you do and hence it follows that you are an idiot and hence you are ignored. Just don't say something just because you've given the opportunity.

 • Just try to feel happy for saving your money by not expending on all these idiotic tablets. Moreover if you feel absurd about Samsung or any other company for these indispensable reasons stated by you, why don't you start your own to give the world a competing product.

 • Time and time again, Greedy Samsung, now, they just cut out the IR blaster port altogether. Tablets, otherwise would be very handy if they have the TV remote feature built in and I don't suppose it costs a whole lot much to just slap one on the device like they used to do. and surprisingly, once Samsung stops making that, all the other idiot makers do the same thing, not to mention ever the wireless charger for tablets.

 • Amazing tablet...I will definetely buy it

 • Make sure before you comment.

 • still now available in India........... waiting for this desperatly

 • It's a shame it doesn't come in white.

 • come on guys, this is the best & you know it. i know what is really going on your minds, so it's enough.....thanx samsung.

 • A cheque from Samsung is already on its way to your home. Enjoy.

 • This tablet design is the most ugly design to buy so i wont bother waste my money to buy this ugly design tablet. Sooo boring design . The price range is comparable to the ipad pro 9.7 so i rather buy the last one. Hmm i give you an idea samsung so your tablet is as catchable like an apple you make a tablet with the EDGE or curve design cant you?? Haha now you owe me samsung your going to pay me that someday.

 • Hi, if Samsung comes to know that their consumers ( not just you, but a reasonable amount ) are interested in the specifications as told by you, they would simply go for it. Writing here will definitely reach Samsung but, writing to Samsung directly might fetch you a reply.

 • What time sammy will release a mid rage Tab with 16:10 screen? 9.7 or 4:3 screen too big for me.

 • I have the original tab S and love the long aspect ratio. But I can live with the new. I desperately need a new tablet since my battery is shot. So when will the LTE version be available in the US? Does anyone know?

 • Hi, if you can afford to buy S3, it would be better than any other android tablet currently in the market. Do double check to see that you are going for a LTE version.

 • Cmon Sammy u know we want the Tab S3 8.0 version. Me n my girlfriend has the TS2 so we're waiting for the new new. Women love to see THIS GINORMOUS to the head oh stick an led notification if could it won't cost much

 • besides 264 density (which I have no problem with it, since ipad pro is also ONLY 264 density) currently using tab s 1 8.4". mainly for gaming and watching movies. it is clearly showing signs where it has difficulty on coping on intensive graphic games.... the sad thing about s3 is the missing 8.4" tablet... why they take tat out of their shelves.. I am wondering should I wait for Huawei mediapad m4 (kirin 960) opt to buy this tab s3 9.7". ipad pro - definitely out becoz exceed my budget. *and I am an android fan :)

 • You sir, have made my day! Thank you :-P

 • Please elaborate and explain.

 • The only downside I can find with this tablet is the storage.

 • Good tablet

 • Hi

 • To screw the tablet you have to buy it first. A word of caution. If you screw it you'll lose the warranty. If you want to screw it in a showroom (a dealer's piece without their knowledge) beware of CCTV cameras inside the showroom.

 • Are you planning on using it with a VR headset ?

 • They don't care and neither do we lol it's a great tablet.

 • I talked to Samsung just now. They said that they are ready to make one especially for you at 1000 ppi. but at the cost of 10 million dollars. Is that ok for you. A Made to Order tablet especially for those who demand heavenly pleasures.

 • 264 PPI not 254 just read first before you comments

 • ur so harsh dude. dont ever buy another samsung device again if it didn't suits your needs -__-

 • Hi, for your information, when the screen size increases the ppi gets lessened for a particular screen resolution. But there are other factors to be considered when buying a tablet or mobile. Though screen resolution is also a factor to be weighed, it is not all. The most important factor is the price. Personally, I feel that the price of this tablet is high. Samsung is a company who manufactures most of its mobile and tablet parts, the most important part being the display. A product's cost price increases when the branding organisation outsources their product's spares. But as far as Samsung is concerned, they are capable to offer their products at a much more competitive prices even lesser than what Xiaomi offers. But it is the management philosophy which is behind the pricing strategy of an organisation, which is beyond the scope of our discussion.

 • screw the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 it only has 254 ppi when the S1 had 359 I want high PPI! why would i down grade samsung?!?!? i will never buy another of your tabs.. until i get 359 ppi or higher!

 • Yes true. This is the only drawback with Samsung products. If Samsung prices its products competitively they'll definitely become the ruler.

 • i need a tabS2 7 or 8 inch w s pen... why cancel that?

 • more expensive

 • Totally agree

 • It's a perfect tablet but the resolution should have been higher for such a high-end device. A pixel density of at least 324 ppi (2160 x 2880 instead 1536 x 2048) would be brilliant. The CPU and GPU are strong enough to handle such a resolution. Samsung must consider this for its next generation tablet.

 • Does it have an exynos variant?

 • 825 is out but hard to get

 • It is Amazing same thing happen to me. Bought the S3 assuming it has a SIM card but it does not. There is two model 820/825. 825 is the one with SIM and we got the Model 820. It look like the Model 825 not out yet. So means i lost money by getting one with no SIM card

 • Well. What do you wish to say if I am a real shareholder of Samsung or if I work for Samsung. Being a human being I too have committed mistakes. Later I realised and felt sorry for it. Well, it is up to your wisdom to act in any way. The world is all yours and so your life and time. I generally don't argue. Life is short and best make use of it. Wishing you all the best.

 • I was just kidding in my comment. why so serious about this as if you own 45% of samsung shares. So I don't need your sympathy nor your comment.

 • I feel sorry for you. Actually the fact is about the use of you to the world. Will not the world survive without you or without these technologies. To be more sensible think about the use of the earth to this universe. Everyone lives in a state of illusion. Don't comment about things that you don't know.

 • The honest fact is that if this tablet is released as per the specifications stated by GSMarena then definitely this would be the best of all android tablets till date.

 • Changing over depends on how deep your pocket is or as to how crazy you are to new gadgets. Everyday there'll be a new comer. It is your wish and wisdom to welcome and accept them.

 • What's odd is that although the S3 9.7 is somewhat better than the 10.1 2014 edition, it isn't so much better that it would warrant changing over to it. I would think three years would have separated their performance night and day...

 • Many a time I've found people complaining about phones and tablets that doesn't support fast charging. What is fast/quick charging is all about. I shall give an analogy. Assume that you are forced to eat your food in a hurry at all times, all your life. Everyone is capable to eat their food faster than normal. Assume, what will happen to you in due course of time. It is not the capability that counts. It is the life that counts. Though the mobile phone's battery is capable to accept fast charging it is always advisable to slow charge the battery to increase the life span of the battery. Moreover, phones and tablets comes with non removable batteries, nowadays. It is not the education that counts but is the wisdom.

 • yeah, there are two models, one that is LTE compatible (with a sim slot) and one without. The one with a sim slot is more expensive than the other one.

 • In specs is said Nano sim so is there sim slot. But anyway i wonder how people call with 10 inch tablet. Holding something big like this close to ears must looks funny as hell :-)

 • you are right

 • i got one samsung S3 tab.. but ther is no SIM card slot . only SD card is ther is available any other model to use with SIM card.?

 • is available with sim card slot..? and howmeny model is ther i got one s3 tab ..but ther s no sim card slot , only SD card slot s ther..

 • It should have better battery lower price snapdragon 835 Octa core dual sim and so. Like this is crap and not worth to buy. Anyway on 10 inch screen 6k battery at full usage will last maybe hour or two. All depends on brightness selected.

 • Is this tab found in Kenya and where?

 • The specs are almost same except a few things..Resolutions of both are also same.. Tab s3 is having fast charging support whereas tab s2 is not having it..then 6000mAh vs 5870mAh which is not much difference may be tab s3 will go for another 15 or 20 minutes.. Then snapdragon 652 vs 820, 652 is more battery efficient compared to 820. They differ in Auntutu ratings but for a customer it won't matter.. only a few will use the S pen also.. i feel the price is also too high..

 • Whether it runs Octa Core or not, the speed only matters with its chipset. As you can see, Samsung's latest Tablet runs on Snapdragon 820 vs. Tab S2's Snapdragon 650+ chipset. The betchment scores may differ much between these 4 cores and 8 cores. The 4 cores Tab S3 is much more faster than the 8 cores Tab S2'S because each core can handle much speed, even faster than 2 or 3 cores of a Tab S2.

 • You can do whatever you want. The product belongs to you when you buy it. You can kiss it, lick it, eat it or break it. Or you may simply avoid buying it.

 • Why don't you ask Samsung about this?

 • I'd like to know why decreased core number from 8 to 4. Selling it for 670€, more than S2, with half cores is stupid. But as people will buy it the same, they'll make good cash! :-(

 • Nobody is forcing you to use the pen.

 • I want to know if the screen uses Pentile Matrix or classic RGB. Pixel density is absolutely misleading, it's subpixel density that counts. All the early reviews do not mention it either, and it's the single most important parameter determining image quality.

 • If you can frame a good marketing strategy for Samsung why don't you say something about that. I/We could learn something from you or you may get an offer to join Samsung for your frame.

 • If it has s-pen, definitely i'am getting one of these

 • different people, diffferent opinion...it your money or our money to waste?. if you not like it,then dont bother to see the spec..

 • On the S3 Samsung added the LED Flash and Vibrate that they left off of the S2.

 • On the S3 Samsung added the LED Flash and Vibrate that they left off of the S2.

 • Your wasting your money wait and get an iPad Pro its better.

 • i thank God that samsung has not introduce this product in the middle east, because i would rather put my money on lenovo, HTC, sony or Apple ipad because these companies dont differentiate when they release there product they release them globally. unlike samsung which fails and find it hard to distribute its products global and favors others countries. In addition samsung has not learned its lesson, bring an item into a country late does not improve your market, it just weaken's it. so samsung you just lost another investment over your poor marketing strategy. and yes if its 3 months old its consider old technology.

 • Thanks, that would save me from buying the more expensive cellular version of the tablet

 • Why the need for pen and amoled? To draw on the nude photos outline on the amoled screen? or to tap on the hole there?

 • Yes you can, it's not available on the Play Store, but you can install it via an .APK file of the app but I recommend using Aptoide, with this you can keep updating whatsapp.

 • any news when will this be released? specifically in ph. xD

 • Who would buy a chromebook when they can get this?

 • Rami7 Can you download whatsapp on the s3 tablet?

 • Why would people still buy this when chromebook can now support android apps

 • Does it have a light sensor this time around?

 • This tablet is so fragile with glass on both sides. I will go with soft touch back of Tab S2 which suits more for tablet category.

 • for me .i think huawei mediapad m2 10.1 or huawei mediapad m3 better than this

 • When will this be available in philippines? 😁

 • Does it support wireless charging?

 • You can make/receive calls on the original Tab S 100%

 • My biggest issue is that its exactly the same as the Tab S and the Tab S2. Nothing new other than the stylus and still has the same problems, I WANT MHL!

 • £599 seriously that's a joke

 • What S.W. or Apps you would like to see. ??

 • youre right if you keep the device for more than 3 years .but if you keep it for 3 years you will be fine .for example my tab s8.4(2014) that came with KitKat was upgraded the next year to loplipop , and end up to marshmallow last year .for me this is not a big issue. just yesterday I bought the tab s3 from Best Buy to try for a few days in case if I don't like it i will return it. from the first day i was convinced that i will keep it because i saw a big improvement overall and the ppi that i was skeptical about is not an issue anymore because i compared displays of tab s8.4 and tab s3 and i saw the quality of the display of tab s3 is much better

 • The ppi is fine

 • My biggest issue with this tablet and other samsung tablets is the lack of software support and how samsung made a big mistake by not putting their own in-house chip in this tablet.

 • No I believe it is only for data like the ipad

 • It also doesnt help that they are using a power hungry processor

 • And if they used their in-house processor over the inefficient snapdragon 820

 • The processor is slower and less energy efficient compared to the ipad pro 9.7. Sadly, Samsung didnt use their in house chip called the exynos 8890. If it came with that I would recommend this over the 9.7 pro. Also knowing samsung they will not support the OS after nougat

 • here in Ontario Canada it costs $800 + 13% tax . i have tab s8.4 and i only care about quality of the display. does it worth $905 to upgrade????? or should i wait for another year .(note i can buy gaming laptop gtx 960m with 1000+tax on boxing day!)

 • The biggest battery you find in another mobile is a 4000 mah battery in a Huawei Mate 8 and 9. You dont get a bigger size for any other mobile other than the tablets like the Samsung S3 with 6000 mah battery

 • The base price for this seems to be the same as the base price for the iPad Pro 9.7". However, this has much better specs than the iPad Pro, and comes with a stylus!

 • I can't find any asus z stylus iny my coutry.. duh.

 • You seriously dont know that the pen will be inside the tablet just like other tab and cellphone. Take a look at Samsung Galaxy Tab A for example

 • It should have been much better if: - No physical bottons (comfortable holding like iPad) - Larger battery (6000Amh is too small) - 64GB minimum (hard to have smaller storage then smartphone's on tablet) - Still original 10.5 incher is the perfect.

 • Thankz Guyz 4r Your Valuable Opinion.... I was about 2 buy a Samsung Tab A T560 but now i will Rather Prefer Cell over Tab....

 • 6000 mah batterry for 9.7 screen really ???,even some of the phones has same size battery. cannot believe samsung making the same huge mistakes.

 • But voice calling was possible in tab S2 9.7 I believe,,, like a normal phone

 • With a third-party app, yes like Google Hangouts, but since there is SIM support for the Tab S3, you can always get Google Duo (FaceTime by Google), and Google Allo (iMessage By Google)

 • Except no AMOLED screen...

 • Is voice calling possible in tab s3

 • Comparing lcd to amoled + pen ???

 • It is not worth for 600$/679 or the LTe Version. Get the Asus Zenpad 3s z500m/kl Go to a store and take a look about the asus tablet. It has same specs like the Galaxy Tab S3.

 • Get the zenpad z500m ... Has same specs but no hdr+ and it is cheaper xD

 • Take the asus zenpad z500MMMM ... It is cheaper and got same specs. It got also a pen called asus z stylus! You just need to buy the pen

 • i like it every body like samsung brand no dought one of the best brand this tab must be much better than other dafinately i will buy it

 • please read.

 • this or Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500KL?... Asus has better battery capacity.. but no pen and amoled.

 • I have tab s for the last two years and I love it. I want to upgrade and can't wait to get my hands on the new s3 tablet. Honestly I bought iPad pro 9.7 few months ago but sold it one month later. The tab s screen was better, I couldn't download free movies and songs on iPad and worst of all couldn't install WhatsApp on the iPad pro although it's a cellular version. Regarding the price, I don't see much difference between the tab s3 and iPad pro or most of the high end mobiles, so this won't be a problem for me.

 • Only in 32gb so far, but has SD card slot

 • Low ppi. No thanks.

 • Does Tab S3 comes with at least 64GB or 128GB internal momery?

 • I like but theres some cases you might lost the s-pen, should have magnets on side so it you can put it in the side of the tab like the new surface's(pro 4, book) or put it at the bottom with a compartment like samsung style note

 • Looks like we'll have to wait until the Tab S4.

 • I hoped it'd have exynos.

 • Did not like the 6,000 mAh battery on a 9.7" galaxy Tab. It should have been more powerful on a S version galaxy Tab.

 • It does come with a stylus! Samsung considers it the "Refined S-Pen". It's the whole package plus some!

 • I skipped the Galaxy Tab S2 because it wasn't justifiable having a Tab S 8.4; that being said, I am almost literally quivering in anticipation for the S3! It's got every feature I could possibly want to date in a tablet and HAVE wanted for what seems like forever. I'm excited at the possibilities for Custom ROMs and I have a feeling this tablet is going to be a keeper for the long haul. Samsung has a good track record of their S3's becoming epic landmarks and this should be the long awaited "Bar Raiser" that'll set our standards sky high for all android tablets to come. If the price is right then this should break Samsung back into the popularity scene in a big way and hopefully rip the reigns right out of Apple's hands. All I can say is... it's about darn time Samsung, welcome back!

 • Better than the current AMOLED screen? I don't think so. Plus the S3 is faster and a fair bit lighter, usb 3.0, and of course better camera's.

 • Confused. Why would I want this tablet when I could have the Note 10.1 2014 Edition with a better screen and far larger battery?

 • rather have this tablet than galaxy tab s

 • samsung galaxy tab s3 lte model comig india deat &cost please replly

 • Would you pay £260 extra just for those? You can almost but two Tab S2 for the price of this one...

 • these are the improvements Usb -c 3.1 connection 4 speakers vulkan api support

 • You do realize the amoled screen is a much lower power draw than the junk apple uses? The s2 had an average of 15 hours of video playback. Lets see an ipad do that... the battery is bigger than the s2. Unless you are trapped on a desert island 9 hours of constant use is pretty adequate.

 • Well and the hardware boost, faster cpu/gpu, bigger battery, more ram, nfc, and of course android 7... hopefully the s2 gets the updates as well. I just sold my s2 and ordered the s3. I do agree the price delta is huge though.

 • If you do only Lock-Screen memos, the battery's going to last for days. Else, except a very good battery life of about 10 hours or more without games, as the SD820 is 14nm, and if you don't push it, it doesn't require that much battery. Add the Super AMOLED display and you're good to go!

 • Can we do voice call ?

 • Well. I got a Samsung Tab pro s 12 inch windows base OS. I can watch stream from my NAS or local ssd for abkut 5-6 hour none stop. And that is only 5200mAh. Remember windows 10 chew alot more power then iOS or Android OS. That being said. This S3 is 6000mAh but the screen is much smaller and the OS dont drain the battery out as quick. Also the CPU and GPU on this dont use as much as my Tab Pro S. So I assume the battery should be minimum 7-10h long. Depending on how you use it.

 • How long will battery last? For watching movies, anime, games... Is this battery small for this specs? i know samsung has good batterys but still...

 • ? New, how about maintaining a Micro SD slot? How about actually including a stylus pen that Apple charges $130 for? How about using a Super AMOLED screen that is far superior to anything in any generation of the IPads? How about using a USB 3.1 type C port instead of a proprietary connector that forces you to buy overpriced Apple accessories? Not to mention faster data transfer than the Apple USB 2.0 connector provides? How about being able to drag and drop files directly into the tablet without having to jump through hoops with itunes or having an internet connection to access dropbox?

 • Is samsung still a plastic things with this edition as well?

 • The S-pen is from the long line of Note phones. Apple copied this time with its Pencil

 • Finally Samsung Once again prove that he is the real copycat,Copy Ipad pro 9.7 Four speaker ,same screen ,S-pen .Do something New Samsung

 • You cannot compare the two..Surface is Beast

 • S Pen is the only selling point I can see for this tablet. Otherwise, the Tab S2 is lighter, has a grippy back instead of a slippery mirror, it's fast enough, and it's so much cheaper. I'd only pay extra for a better display, so the same one again at 264 ppi it's not going to cut it for me.

 • it has a micro sd slot tho.....

 • Anyone know if they will have a GSM version (and offered by T-Mobile)? Maybe too new to know....... I was looking at getting the T-Mobile Tab S2, however, the price is still full retail, so may as well get the s3, if they offer it. (Unless they do a deep discount on the s2).

 • good camera 13mp for tablet samsung is better from other android phones in all like display is now more good with hdr super amoled and 4gb ram gud from previous model than 3gb and now 4 stereo speakers with akg harman sound quality spen is also more advanced amazing with latest android nougat

 • 32gb for a tablet in 2017 is pathetic

 • looks like this is the only android tab with a good camera. i'll probably be upgrading from my tab s

 • Useless piece i will stick to my TAB S2. Not worth buying this one. I was hoping high.

 • this may perfect to play PES2017... feels like play on laptop

 • If there was an 8" LTE version with the same specs, I'd buy it! But 9.7"? I'll wait.

 • No. Its very simple. Samsung did not think at all. Apple did not make a mini. So they stop the 8 inch as well. Apple did not have a pen slot. So they drop that as well. Apple make quad speakers. So they add it. Then to make you buy it, they make less battery capacity so they can make it that tiny bit smaller & lighter then iPad pro 9.7. Samsung copy Apple, this device stood out like a sore thumb. Bad decision Samsung! You should have a 8 incher, this is not iOS, but Android. Give android fanboys what they wanted!

 • They actually just intended to find a balance between the large and the small tablets. And with that aspect ratio, the screen's diagonal adds more to the tallness, not to the width, because 4:3 is more suitable for large tablets.

 • Well I have galaxy tab 4.0 3g 8inch, and I think I have to buy this s3

 • i got tab S2 it is amazing device and am using it every single day ... light .. fast ... i was waiting for Samsung to come up with something new but seems like since 2015 to now 2017 nothing much changed also that pen is useless to me .. so i`m going to keep my S2 with no upgrade this year

 • I will keep my tab s8.4 (2014) as some others until Samsung bring back 16:9, robust cpu and 4k display

 • Your wait will be forever. Old format never comes back. Its like waiting for monochromatic phone to come back.

 • Should be an 8 inch version. Wrong decision Samsung.

 • How does this compare to a surface PRO4?

 • 4:3 aspect ratio is good for ; - Reading an article (e-book, e-magazine, browsing) - Drawing - Gaming ( 16:9 is only for phones, 4:3 is perfectly fit for gaming on tablet, i don't wanna hold a big tall tablet on portrait position or too wide on landscape position, 4:3 is balance not too tall or wide)

 • Indeed. Galaxy-Note-Tablet users have been waiting for a device like this since the NotePro of 2014 or Note 8.0 (not to be confused with the coming Note 8 smartphone of 2017) from early 2013. This is their first considerable and compareable successor.

 • The TabS1 could already have delivered 2160p video recording due to sufficient processing performance, if the resolution of the image sensor would be slightly higher or a wider image sensor. Alternatively, they could have enabled full-sensor video recording, where each frame 3264×2448 pixels, which equals the full image sensor. Processing power is also there for HFr video recording and 2160p or HFR on the front camera.

 • when will they start selling this tablet?i can't wait to see this tablet.

 • this is it .i will keep my tab s8.4 (2014) for another year or until Samsung bring back 16:9 or 16:10 screen ratio , plus 4k display

 • whats mean fast charging please notice the specs like 9v 1.67a

 • Yes

 • tab s is best but this looks good

 • it could be samsung best tablet

 • Is this tablet has spen?

 • 16:10 only or not ... how can I see movies with idiotic black bars ... or play games with that weird resolution or see photos widescreen shot ... are we in 1990s with 4:3 old outdated useless aspect ratio >-<

 • 10.5 was the one and only king of oled screens

 • Tab S was 10.5" 16:10, that was the best Samsung tablet, S2 and coming S3 are only downgrade for me

 • download manually via website not playstore, bcoz they not support tab in playstore

 • Can we expect 8" model in Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Model?

 • 4:3 acceptable only, so I'm happy! :) 16:9 is good for movies, BUT I am reading PDF's, taking notes, and reading a ton of articles on tablet, so widescreen is not acceptable for me. But I agree, they should have make a 16:9 tablet line for the people who want a widescreen device.

 • How to Install Whatsapp on Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 in INDIA ? Please help....

 • 16:9 is acceptable only...pass

 • Agree I moved to mi mix as the S2 was 3:4. Why couldn't Samsung just make a new product line that was 3:4 to copy Apple. And keep the s range 16:9?

 • Huawei Mediapad M3 is a best buy,...lte model is under 400 Swiss francs and 329sfr. for WiFi only , 2k screen, 4 GB Ram, Kirjn 950 processor and Mali 880mp4, 8.4 inches 2k resolution'$ Display, very elegant and should be with Nougat... I got sm t580 Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 inches full HD, 2gb ram octacore, is very smooth, never laggy which is for Sammy very strange, I paid 229 francs but forget tab s3, too expensive,...get mediapad m3 or even Smith t580!

 • I didn't buy Tab S2 because it has equal or lower Hardware spec. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 so big I want to buy Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 8" is better and put Pocket easy. Its coming edge display at both the ends

 • Its coming edge display at both the ends.

 • looool because 3:4 is best .

 • It would be great, if it has higher CPU spec than my Tab S (T705). I didn't buy Tab S2 because it has equal or lower Hardware spec. I will consider to buy it, if it has higher CPU spec than it was rumored.

 • Water resistance?

 • OMG, again 3:4? Why Samsung always copies Apple? I think 16:9 was better... So if tomorrow Apple makes 16:9, does it mean that Samsung would also do like this?

 • Insider info: This product exist because of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500KL

 • Would be nice if sammy could include a stylus with this tab, it would be awesome.

 • Nice find

 • hmm .. no major changes from S2

 • Hope this will be the Samsung Tablet that i waited for. Id love if they could add a Exynos 8890 chipset instead of the crappy snapdragon but, i like everything else about it. Finally a good Samsung tablet!!1!

 • Samsung announced this tablet

 • very good tablet**************!!!!!!!!
