If u set ur camera resolution is been set 3.2 mp (2048*1536) dan u wnt b able to zoom.so switch ur camera on and go to settings and change resoulution To 2 Megapixel.and nw swich back to camera and zoom via ur phone volume key.

I hav been using this phone for abt 6 months now nd um nt very satisfied with it. the screen responsiveness is very poor. at times it becomes very slow. sometimes u want to press one icon and end up pressing another. i used corby before this and it had an amazing touchscreen in comparison to my lindy. but, the lindy has gud sides 2. the music quality is gr8!! in fact, except a slow touchscreen, everything else rocks!!! :)

It cant be possible.. When you on call & if you want to make conference then select option on left side on the screen & then select join, it'll make possible of conferencing call..

Samsung Corby 3G use

Had a craze for touch screen phones and thought what better than a 3G, wifi touchscreen cheap branded phone in this age. Though the features provided by this phone are one of the best, looking at the price in market, I had mixed feelings about the same. Well the best thing about this phone is that you get 3g (coming soon in India), wifi, decent mp3player, basic video player, good internet explorer and pc connectivity. Some things which i would have wished for in this phone was: 1. Copy paste feature (I had a 4 yr old sony ericsson phone which provided this feature to me!) 2. Playlist creation from folder structure or from PC media manager is not possible. You have to select songs by albums,genres etc on phone to create playlist or scroll through your 8gb/16gb of songs to select your playlist song on touch screen phone! :( 3. Continuous scrolling feature is not theree in this phone, you keep scrolling either through finger or volume key (very uncomfortable if the list is large!) 5. Phone auto-locking during calls make it a bit frustrating to communicate with Interactive voice response numbers as the phone gets locked at very short duration and by the time you unlock the phone, the time limit is crossed! Summary: Now I know why the cost is less :)

I wanted a touch screen phone but could not afford an I Phone as clearly almost nothing comes close to it when it comes to touch... I had a budget constraint of 10K ... and did not want to buy a Nokia (hv never been a fan of this brand)...the only option and a real good 1 at that is this phone, the touch is excellent the music play loud n clear the camera is pretty decent, download the opera mini for browsing and u have ur horizontal keyboard as well... I think its a steal for the price it is available....check it out urself

Which is better, the Samsung Lindy or the CorbyPro? I like the Qwerty on the CorbyPro but it terms of weight it really does take a toll. I like the Lindy for its weight and that its so cheap yet the connectivity options are aplentiful... In my country (Singapore) the Lindy sells for $48 with a 2 year contract and the CorbyPro at $98 with a 2 year contract (I think it's more expensive cause of its Qwerty.) Please help!!!

well I don't know about you but qwerty on a capacitive 2,8 incher doesn't give me the idea of ''easy typing'' :P If you need a lindy that could text you should look at the samsung Corby PRO ... it has the same functionality and ads a full qwerty slide out keyboard.

For those people out there wondering whether to get one of Nokia's budget touchscreens like the 5530 or 5230 or the Lindy, I'd suggest you get the Lindy. In this case I'm usinthe 5530 for comparison. Basically you get an ALMOST identical spec sheet ( I'm guessing most of you potential buyers can live with the lower-res screen and the smaller screen size) for Almost half the price. That there is a deal to die for. And if you think the symbian s60 platform is godly, I'm telling you, it sucks. I tested out the symbian on my friends n97, and I can't even describe to you guys how user-unfriendly and stale the UI was. Plus, symbian is prone to lots of glitches. I had the e52 and the 5630 previously, and they both died on me for a million different reasons I wouldn't bother posting here. So my advice is get the Lindy. But if you still insist on getting a nokia s60, I'd say get the 5630. It's got almost the same specs sheet but it isn't touchscreen. Which is actually good. Touchscreens are quite un-reliable sometimes and s60 on a touchscreen simply doesn't blend well.

The phone is good in terms of shape and features except the battery. As the phone has 2.8 inch screen along with the power hungry feature WiFI, the battery is not sufficient. It should had 1200 mAh battery at least.

I tought it would be better for me to share my opinion. I work in a retail shop and get to try all the phones. This is a fine phone, it has all the things one should expect nowadays. I wanted a 3G phone with video call camera and wi-fi, and this one sounded the best choise at a lower cost. But there's a catch. I didn't bought it because i'm a heavy sms user and the touch screen response is incredibly bad. It takes ages to write a text in this phone, it keeps assuming other keys on the virtual keyboard even tough you hit the right ones. If you are thinking on buying one try to write a text on it before you purchase. Just tought i sould let you this advice...

as far as I know capacitive works with changing the electric field, so you just need to "slighty" touch the screen with your fingers. iphone uses capacitive - thats why everyone think it's great. resistive works via "physical pressure" so you need to touch a little bit "harder". but you can use everything to touch - finger, nails, stylus-pen (capacitive = only fingers). most winmo phones use resitive. in reality both work very well - it's just a little different.

The reason why this phone doesn't have QWERTY Keyboard because the screen is capacitive.... it's hard to type with QWERTY keyboard on 2.8 inch screen with capacitive screens.... :( but, overall it's quite good :)

FM stands for frequency module, AM stands for Amplitude module. AM transmissions are not popular because they are affected by static and interference because of lightning and other sources of radio emissions on the same frequency. An FM signal is not subject to static and interference in the same way as AM signals. The most popular radio station are FM because of above problem and also because FM tech renders superior sound quality. Don't worry, first check what radio service station are available in you city and how do they broadcast their radio. AM or FM. The one that you want to listen to. BTW there are no mobile phone in my knowledge that support AM reciever.

1000 contacts memory and probably only 30 last dialled, received and missed call list. These are limitations of a non smart phone. 2.8 inch QVGA (240x320 pixels)1990s touch screen. But ofcourse its capacitive. Convincing? And no GPS. Just a convincing Wi-Fi receiver. No secondary video call camera. That means no video calling. The 3G will be limited to downloads. Ofcourse you also have that convincing Wi-Fi. Seems like its not convincing enough. Still far behind Nokia 5230. That phone has larger and far better quality touch screen with kinetic scrolling. Amazing processor. And Symbian S60 5th edition OS. Ofcourse Nokia 5230 doesn't has Wi-Fi but it has GPS with Nokia Maps. So make your decision : Wi-Fi, for browsing internet OR GPS, for travel directions that is network independent. Capacitive QVGA 2.8" screen OR a not-so-bad resistive 3.2" 640x360 touch screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and kinetic scrolling. Non smart phone OR a symbian S60 smart phone with an amazing processor. Average battery (960 mAh) with average battery life OR far better battery (1320 mAh) with obviously better battery life. With Wi-Fi its not gonna come cheap. Probably same as Nokia 5230. In the camera dept, Samsung M5650 Lindy does fair better with a 3.15 Mpx camera against Nokia 5230's 2 MPx but this is another reason why it won't be cheap. And not to mention Nokia 5230 also has a 3.5 mm audio jack. Make your choice. Are you convinced? .

It's already on the market, by the Portuguese operator TMN, It cames with wifi, 3g videocall and excluive keys for mp3 player. It's an very affordable device with nice features for only 149,90�.
