  • Yes, my Samsung 'Bada' Wave Y, crap did exacly the same, last Jan. I'd gone to Wifi, when it happened, i thought at 1st it was the battery, got a new one - no diff. then I remembered it had been raining that night, had the phone in my coat, top pocket..and thought it was maybe that! anyway it's lying in it's box now, total shite! Just opens to home screen and closes, continualy !!! tried to sort it, many ways, but No Joy! as for asking Samsung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they don't even recognise it, Twats!

They cannot stop the development without thinking about the current users of the OS. For them their mobile is a complete waste now. there should be some step taken by Samsung on this.

  • First of all change the network mode into umts mode u will get 3g network and make video call make sure to whom u r calling also have 3g network and dual camera with video call mobile

  • dear every one pls dont prefer this device. this is very very worst device from samsung. i didnt expect this from samsung. my blood pressure increased after started using this device. i used nokia5230, galaxy pop, galaxy fit and this. this very very very very worst when compared to all. postive of this device is battery, image quality is good and sound quality is head set is good. that's all positive. lots of negative. 1. poor screen sensitivity , 2.this device internet is slower than tortoise 3.the first thing u will get wen u opened the net is "url not available", 4. poor loud speaker quality 5.photos will not load in google images, facebook etc. 6, u cannot download anything 100%. it will interrupt in the middle and show "downloading failed" 7. only lkg & ukg students can use the applications of this. there is lots and more. wen i opened most visited page in internet i see " url not avilable", this is the page i visited most of the times. i openly telling , i throw my s5380 mobile towards the wall due to anger and broke into pieces. so pls dont prefer this in samsung this is my humble request.

  • I have owned my Wave Y for a couple of months. Even though it is probably the cheapest smartphone in the UK, it looks and feels like it should be a lot more expensive. I would strongly recommend this phone to everyone, unless they intend to use predominately for games/apps (being Bada based there are less apps than Android etc.) I would recommend Bada as an Os, it is stable and works well. The UI is good, and all the main packages work well and are simple to use. I am not that struck on the stock browser, Dolfin, but have added Opera Mini to mine, and this works very well. The screen is clear and crisp, and the touch screen responsive and accurate. Although only two MP the camera is surprisingly good for general shots. There are pictures of my phone on my blog: If you want a reliable, easy to use , inexpensive phone, I do not think you can do better than a Wave Y.

  • *#0*# usually works wid almost all samsung fon. in my wave y it works. ders another way to use 2ndary cam, try *#7353#. i don t know whether it wl work in ur fon but in mine it works. Remember everythng depends on the fons firmware.
