  • Is it a maufacturing defect? I have the siemens A70 AND the Siemens A75 and the ringtone would just change itself. They're both stuck on this one ringtone and no matter what I try I am not able to change it.Somebody help

  • This is a very good phone. It won't break even if you throw it to someone. Well Done Siemens

  • Well, I have always been a Siemens guy, but I must say the A75, which I currently own is the bomb. It surely is a must have for those people who prefer simple phones.

  • extremely resistant phone, I accidently dropped mine from the 7th floor between the stairs, and found it on the 4th floor still intact and it still works fine :) + i regularly throw it at my friends when they annoy me and it still works, remarcable phone .... Good Work Siemens :)

  • I bought this phone today I need help with getting the Gprs to work. I anyone direct me on what to do.

  • This phone is alright. Its the phone that BTC(in the Bahamas) gave out, along with a sim card for free for testing and the service was funny for a day and then it worked well. The prob is that it's not quite a popular brand as the nokia and motorola and its to basic

  • In order to delete the T9 database you need to use Siemens Data Suite and the appropriate cable. Browse your phone memory for a folder called T9. Delete the files inside, not the folder. Good luck!

  • What's the battery life? The review here isn't that good, anyway...

  • how do i delete the T9 database? anynone??

  • That pohne is absolutely ridculously rubbish i cant belive i even bought it but i was so excited that i didnt even think of what special features it obtained and as it was my first fone i was just in a rush to own it but now i regret buying that fone and i cant even get a refund beacuse of the idiot who sold it to me i will alwayz check the specialities of the phone before buying it

  • The only thing I hate more than this phone is the salesperson who sold it to me. Yes, I have to pay a 25% restocking fee, but it will be worth it to me to get my money back and be rid of this thing and the frustration that comes with using it. I have followed the manual's instructions TO A "T", and I cannot get the volume to go below ear-splitting. Meanwhile, the people on the other end cannot hear a word I am saying. I mean, I paid $100 and I can't even plug a headset into this thing? I could go on all night about why you shouldn't buy this thing, but I'll leave it at this: If you are considering buying this phone, you can get a better one for less money. This is a rip off.

  • Hi. I bought this mobile yesterday. For being a simple phone its great and has lots of fetures. It is very light and slim.

  • I bought a phone today with 1$ plus some loyalty points... It's a good phone that i use at school in case a teacher want's to take it ;;)... P.S. I'm from Romania and a i have a 6680 as my phone...

  • I like my Siemens A75. It's small and for 16 $ I think it's convenient. For simple needs (calls and SMS) it's very good, it has a pretty decent screen and good ring tones. The GPRS is not sufficient, it needs MMS, like the A65.

  • I bought Siemens A75 yesterday on some action sale. It has great desing, battery has long duration, but it doesn`t have anything what today`s mobile phones must have - such as IR, bluetooth, camera, MMS. If you need just a mobile phone for SMS and for calls this is very good mobile phone. It cost me around 46 euros, but I got earphones and 45 around 45 euros on my SIM card.

  • I've got two here in Romania for "fidelity points" (that's points you get for the value of your bill, kind of an incentive)... They're ok... I also have a Nokia 7210. Nothing to compare, nevertheless... It's okay if you just need a thing to "talk" on... Loud sound, loud rings... decent looks (when the screen's not on... lol). Better than my old A50 anyway... Low budget phone! A good thing though...

  • I bought the Siemens A75 for europe and it works fine. I was taken aback at first because its not as flashy as my phone in the states, but otherwise, once I got it working, it does everything I need. T9 can be turned on or off when your writing a text message by pressing # a few times. The only draw back is that I'm using a SIM card Italia TIM, and I have to constantly recharge minutes with a ricarichard. When I got outside of Italy, to other european countries, I'll have to get a roaming plan, anyone know anything about this?

  • I both a75 a month ago and now it is in service. In rest it is a good phone, the batery for 3 to 4 days, can download poliphonic and pictures through WAP. I would`t bought it if it was not so cheap = less of 16$. What can I say more: if you can buy a nokia don`t think twice!

  • Its weak point is -indeed- the fact that wou can hear yourself in the speaker. Oh, and another one: it is almost useless in the "great outdoors". It catches the wind very well, I must admit. I guess this is because of where the mic is placed. And it takes almost a minute untill it loads the commands of the two softkeys (the left and the menu one) after I turn it on. Otherwise it`s a good phone for its value but it is a little too cheap and slow.

  • please help me how can i swich on the t9 mode at my phone i could not understand it in this phone there are few way to do it but i couldnt find

  • It`s a cheap phone. Don`t expect too much of it but then again it costs as much (or should I say as little) as a Nokia 1100 and, let`s face it, it does a little more. It doesn`t go 7 days on one charge and it doesn`t have a flashlight but it has 4k colours display and 32 strings polyphonic ringtones, GPRS and many more. What it does NOT have and I would need is MMS, a smarter and more "Nokia like" menu and cell info option. Oh, and it looks quite fine. What I would like to ask is if anyone knows if there is any data cable available for it.

  • So many facilities in a low cost phone(Color Set,GPRS)& equal in price to a Normal Nokia 1100/2100!!!Thank You SIEMENS.

  • very goo ..........It runs almost threee days with one charge

  • Come on!i just bought the phone and i think it's a piece of junk![almost] I hear my self in the speaker, when i talk, louder than the pearson i talk to...I also have a nokia 7250 [that's quality] the siemens is too poor for my taste i should bought sony-ericsson T290i-bigger phonebook,MMS support and slleker :P.The only thing i appriciate at this siemens is that it is verry solid...no moving parts or squeeks :). sorry for the bad english ;)

  • i find this phonwe very stylish, but the problem it with is no MMS support,if it would have benn updated accordingly...I think customers wounld'nt have to suffer after buying it...

  • Very attractive phone, from a certain distance u can't tell if it's a 200$ or a 19$ phone (i paid 19$ for it). If u delete some useless stuff from the memory, like T9 database, u can get around 300k of free space where u can put pictures, gif animations, polyphonic ringtones (that sound really nice). GPRS is very nice too if u want to surf the net. Bad things: -has Java but u can't get new games on -no support for musical .WAV files -no notes/tasks/appointments function -the LCD is a "classic"

  • I find this phone to be very nice for a siemens brand i think they are trying to make a difference on the market

  • I find this phone to be very nice for a siemens brand i think they are trying to make a difference on the market

  • I find those low-budget siemens phones quite ugly, at least most of them. this is one of the better designs, i think, but still not a beauty or even stylish.

  • cool phone if this phone is release at 1997

  • I agree with the cost cutting thing. However no JAVA :-(

  • affortable for low bugdet people who need mobile phones, long live to siemens...

  • Its time to close this company!

  • To Feras: Not everyone can afford to buy a 65k/262k colour screen phone. It's ideal for older people and pre-teenage kids. You have to bear in mind that adding more colours, bigger screens, mp3 support etc. is going to make the phone cost more. It's the nicest looking out of the 3 new Siemens phone phones and should be a good buy for those on a small budget.

  • !!!! the new model contain 65k screen and up to 256k , whats up with the new seiers ??? its made to drop

  • Its pratically identical to the A65, nothing new... the only new phone is the AX75.

  • 4096 Colors, comon siemens!!!

  • not bad looks like siemans are going backwards tho after the 65 seies
