Have just updated my C903 drivers, and had a new system placed no the phone, cant do anything with it now? Shows connected to PC, but not charging??? Does charge with just the charger fitted. But cant get the PC to see the mobile any more. Bloody hell!!! PC Companion 2.1 installed

I've had my C903 since 2010, and when you slide it open it seems shaky and unstable. I thought this phone would be finished within a year, but it is still working just fine with no faults at all (knock on wood). But the unstable wobbly design seems to be a part of how it's made.

us eyour usb lead,and connect to pc and it will store all your data,info,fotos etc etc into a file on ur pc,then you can swap the file to your new fone if needed

This hamdset is having probelm with the sound card and the speaker. If anything went wrong then keep 1600 Rs ready with you. I have been using this for last 2 yrs and 6 months . Till now i have spent 1600*5 on this. Pls dont buy this

I don't know if my phone is faulty but within a month of getting it the speakers wouldn't play music. I sent it back to be fixed and a month after being fixed they broke again. It's now been about 3 years since first getting it and the screen has completely stopped working but the phone itself is still working as it vibrates when I get texts. Apart from that the phone was actually quite good for me (a touchscreen hater)

I just bought this phone after a lot of research because I'm not a fan of touch phones. I like it very much but I have one concern. When I slide it upwards in order to write, it seems that the upper part is not stable, it's a bit shaky. Is that normal? I've had slide phones in the past and I never faced such an issue.

make sure that the songs are in the Music Folder. no matter with different folder name but it has to be in Music folder in order to create a playlist. hope this will solve your problem.

To create a playlist for audio songs, go to �Media� from main menu then go to �Music�. Here you will find the option �Playlists�. Open it and create as many playlists as you want. Hope it helps. (But I could not find such option for Video )

Guys, i've been using this phone more than a year now.. so far no problem except for some keys stopped functioning (but it later resolved automatically) here i want to share a problem which i faced few days back. my phone's "Activity menu" key stopped working all of a sudden, but thanks to the "User help" option in the phone i was able to resolve the problem after 02 days. I re-stared the phone and the Key started working :) so if u guys face the same problem as i did, try to fix it by re-starting the phone.. :)

I bought this phone last year and from the beginning there were issues with the camera (black dots) and wasn't functional. I serviced it and now works fine. The GPS opens a bit slow, but all else seems OK to me.

That is an mp3 song for example which i can save on the mobile phone, e.g., via data cable, Bluetooth etc. 2. Does the waking up / alarm tone function work without vibration - only music? 3. Can one put more than one alarm clock at different times - e.g. on one day alarm1 at 5oclock, alarm2 at 6oclock, alarm3 at 7 oclock and so on? 4. i've used this phone starting april last year.overall,da camera is totally awes0me,the s0und kinda suck (well give it a rest,it's a cybershot phone, not a walkman) but one disadvantage is that it d0esnt hve a red eye f0r da camera. And the rben of the slide might be a problem within a year or two,but 10 dollars will fix it.but still, nothing to be dissappointed about...

i bought this fone in July 2010 and so far i faced a problem TWICE that the left & right soft keys stopped responding but after an hour its was fixed automatically. the thing i missed in it, is the music key, otherwise it is a great fone. also a very good addition in the fone features is that now i can also personalize msg alert tone for any contact, which is quite a comfort. regarding the slide problem, well i only slide it when it is necessary.

This cell is a strict no. Bought it a year back.. most applns like Youtube do not work at all.. and the performance slides very badly over the time.. no resale value and the slider strip gets damaged very frequently making it impossible to use further.

hey pipz, at last i got my phone from the service center because of the problem I'd encounter on to the camera side button they replaced the main board, thank it was under warranty, because the main board cost 70% from the price of the phone..now, same i got a new phone because of the main board..guys be careful in using the camera side button prefer to use the center button...lolz..

hey pipz, i bought this phone last may 2010, but I'm using this phone just only a few months, it's I'd brought it to the SE store 2 times for repair..the side camera button was very sensitive..I'd encounter a problem that it's really hard in capturing pictures always moving to auto focus bit it can't captured picture..on first time I'd brought it, they only cleaned the button thinking that was only a dirt, but same problem again, I'd brought it back the last they did is that they replaced they main board, thanks' that was under warranty if not i don't think so, the main board is very expensive..So pipz be aware in the camera side button....lolz..

Sony Ericsson c903 cybrershot is a one of good fone. specially the looks is so good. excellent 5mp camera with flash. sound is normal in phone speaker but in ear phone the sound clarity is best. it has mega bass which is too good.flash is also so strong. specially picture quality is best with this camera. u can make 32x play back zoom and 16x digital zoom.when u make 8x play back zoom of a picture after that the photo is not crack. believe me bcoz i m a user of c903 from last 7 month. this fon is dropped from my hand approximate 9 to 10 times, still this don't have scratches bcoz of its scratch resistance technology. at last i want to say that Sony is always best then other brand from LCD tv to laptop or mobile. but the cost is quite higher bcoz of its brand image and it's technology.

video calling doesnt need any sittings its a built in feature you just need to be on the correct service . check again with your network make sure that you ask them fo video calling not internet or MMS

ppl who are complaining about the c903 sound, you can easily mod your phone using a2 uploader. 1st search in google by seraching latest accoustic driver for c903. after den search for how to work with a2 uploader. some small steps. then you will get louder and clear system sound.

Just select the ringtone u wanna assign and press the option key (left soft key) and select �Use as� Contact ringtone and select the contact to whom u wanna assign it. A msg will appear �Replace existing info in contact?� Press �Yes� and save it. Ringtone will be assigned. The other method is to select a contact and press �Options� key and go to edit contact. Now press �Right Navigation key� twice. An option of �Ringtone� will appear at 2nd place. Edit and Replace it by the "Sound" or even "Video" of ur choice.

Its a good phone no lagging at all. once had a problem with the media player when playing songs. updated the phone using se update and it went away.... the d pad gets be hard to press after sm time.. other than that sweet phone.

I've had this phone for just over a year now. Problems it has: Poor reception, poor battery life, and the worst of all, if you carry the phone in your pocket the key lock will unlock itself and the phone will start dialing people. In the last month the camera (which was very good) has totally stopped working (The phone has not been dropped). On top of that it has started doing other strange things in the last few weeks, an example being no sound i.e. the alarm goes off... but you can't hear it!!! Brilliant. Problem clears by turning off and back on. I had read about the battery life and unlocking problem before I got it, and thought it could not be too bad... how wrong I was. I really could not recommend this phone.

"video was interuppted" error only occur due to internet or internet streaming settings. Can u browse internet? If Yes ur internet settings is ok.If Not u have to change ur internet settings too. For Youtube playback,ur internet setting as wl as Streaming settings should be correct. Change ur streaming settings to something like "BSNL_Streaming" or Idea_Streaming" If streaming settings doesnot work change it to ur default internet settings.Also try deleting all net settings and reinstall it from ur service provider.

Sound is also betr.it has megabas too.loud spkr sound is also ok 4 me.i dont knw hw much loud u expectd. No word,its cam awsome evn at night mode.dont compare its image with a 8 or 10mp dg cam. Cam videos r mp4 format and very gud.but sometimes sound skiping problm i noticd. Batry is also gud. If u r a hardcore sms msgr, i hav 2 pointd out one thing.its keys r not gud 4 fast typing.this is what i feel,it may b comefort 4 others. Also it is multi tasking. Be careful dont drop it. Finaly i give 10 out of 10 for its styl.this is the 1st thing that atracts me towards it. Now u can take dicision.

This phone is the best ever I had. It has all the features I wanted, plus various additional stuff. Camera is superb. I love the lens cover. Sound quality is great without and specially with provided earphones. Softwares installed are just superb and GPS is one of the best things in this phone. hei dude......u have to press the side key for auto focus and wait for few second it will capture the image...its better to use the middle button of the navigation key :) c903 is very good phone but you have to take care the sliding process ......

to Sakikakomoko- yeah, you are correct on the first it comes to auto-focus and second supposed to be capture image but instead of it, it doesn't capture..i preferred to use the center button to captured..i think this phone is very sensitive from hardware to software...unlike my k750i until now it has no problem..I'd decided to bring it to the SE service center..it still under warranty...

well, C903 is a good phone.i gt a metalic pink one last month.looks gr8 but problem with navigaton keys.they always malfunctioning when you pres them hardly.so it needs a light press.flash menu themes are working better.the accuracy of GPS is much more better.no xenon flash instead you got 2LED flash.if anyone has bought one, better to take a string to tie the phone unless you lose your mobile and strike onthe floor due to its bad design.no video call front camera.plastic cover is great.when you damage the housin you can easily remove and change the damaged one.

e63 is a smartfone.if u want a mobile having pc like facility,keep it with u.but i have some opinion. C903 is more stylish.but e63 having a dull look. e63 is faster than c903. C903 screen is big and clear bright display.e63 display is not atractive. e63 having wifi but c903 doesnot. e63 cam is nothing when compared with c903 cybershot cam. I am searching this phone and c510 model for a very long time. c903 has really nice and extreme features for its price. c510 is lower but almost the same price like c903. the difference is camera pixels (c510 have 3.2) and aGPS support (c510 does not have). GPS is interesting though. To me, if you are not lost, GPS is meaningless. Google maps will be enough for me (c510 has). Another paradox is the style and design of two phones. I am very well impressed by the magnicifient design of the c510.(real thin and carismatic). One more thing is what I feel when the phones are in my hand. I felt very comfortable with c510(metalic chasis-design). but i felt c903 like too plastic. also thicker than 510. I am real desperate here friends. I need your opinions. Please post them in a short time. o God, what am I gonna do?

I've seen that it's speakers are very very small. But does that mean that the voice would also be low!!! Have you seen the old Nokia 1110. It's speakers are tiny miny. But it's voice is audible at least in the room. Whereas LG KG 195, in-spite of having large mono speakers the voice is not even audible to the holder of the cell in a place like restraunt(Like Pizza Hut).

Delete the pictures (you have no choice.) Turn off your phone, unplug your battery, take out your memory card . Wait for about 5seconds, put back your memory card, plug in ur battery , and turn on your phone again... It should be find by now... or else that means ur memory card have some problem...

when i view my pics i get little frame .up to 10 pic in a row or 3 or 1 pic.i open it up and wont let me view pics.i switch of pics then i scroll back to them and pics are back to nornal...and i still have the problem.. some pics are double and i get 3 or 4 the same pics... its anoying.. i had k800 the same thing .... can some one tell me if they have same problem with pics doubling up or little frames in stead pics...i love this phone... these frames that apears looks like a persons face

i'm using c903 since april 2010 til now.faced no problem so far.my c903 sliped from my hand incidentally 2 times and it still working well.pic quality very good for 5 megapixels.sound quality of coz cant beat sony-walkman.im listening mp3 using original earphone from the box and to me,it sound great.

Hi I am using C903. When i pressed 10 digit number to call a person, and come to know later that for eg. 0 to be added or some number to be edited at the start,we have to go reverse fully(move cursor back) to add number.Instead if we press end button, the cursor has to go immdly to the start(which is not happening right now).This will save time of the users,if implemented. Please look into it.

What you mean by photo camera not as good as K800 ? I know that C903 doesn't have XENON-FLASH but instead of LED flash. It's light enough also . But just it's yellowish.... this C903 camera quality is way better than K800. K800 only 3.2 megapixel and this C903 is 5.0megapixel... Hmm... About the sound quality... You can modify the ACOUSTIC file through some program... I've modified mine and now it's louder than W910 XD It even doesn't sound sandy when at the max volume !

If you wan a better quality on camera, choose C6. If you want a better quality on internet, choose X6 And if you want a better quality on sounds, choose X6. But, if you want a cheaper price + better sound quality but no internet, choose C903 :D X6 and C6 is much more expensive.

1.Even if the only attractive feature of this mobile is the 5 MP camera, the auto-focus fails at all conditions(indoor, outdoor, light, dark). The photos in indoor conditions (fluorescent light) are useless. You are better off with a 2.0 or 3.2 MP Nokia Mobile or Samsung Mobile. 2.Very hard to get a creative shot using this mobile. You not only have to worry about the image but also you know its not going to be a usable image. Close-up shots like of a keyboard or similar give you reddish patches in low light area of the image. 3.It is not a multitasking phone for e.g - Music and Camera do not work at the same time(my 3 year old Nokia N73 did that without a hitch). 4.Option to multiple select contacts and delete them at one go is absent. Forget about the option of having a keypad keys combination shortcut to do the same. 5.The Shortcut to Music is absent. You have to create a shortcut till Media and browse to music and play the file. 6.Auto-generated play-lists like "Recently Added Songs","Most Played Songs" are absent. 7. You listen to a song and like to set it as ringtone, you can not set it there. You have to set it in Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtone-> Ringtones -> Artist -> Album -> Song. I think I am going to have a fixed ringtone the rest of the time I have this mobile. 8. If you are listening to a song and want to add it to a play-list in C903, you are holding the wrong phone. It seems this is a advanced feature and you cant have that here. You have to create a play-list and browse the songs. This makes me want to bite screen off the mobile. 9. While applying themes, one can not preview it before applying. We have to apply a theme(it takes its own sweet time in doing so) and see if you like it. 10. If you are using the phone to listen music while walking, the C903 is the king of inconvenience. The earphone jack is in the side, volume buttons in the side are a pain to use. Remember these also act as next and previous keys. So the easy way to play the next track is to step aside, take out the mobile from your pocket, unlock the phone and use the keypad to play the next track. 11. The only thing thing this is good at is at gifting it to someone who does not use the phone to do any thing else other than making phone calls (parents) or to someone whom you do not want to do anything else(siblings). 12. I never understand why Sony never uses standard stuff like earphone jack and micro SD. Looks like they want their customers to get accessories from their brand only. This is bad. 13. Talking of the PC Suite Software, there is no music compression tool available which is standard stuff in others. Saving pics using the software is absent. You have to browse to the specific folder and to make matters worse you cannot get a thumbnail view of images there. This is irritating to say the least. 14. You get a missed call and view it "View Events" as this is the screen u are shown when there is a missed call. But wait the missed call symbol does not go. You have to visit the "All Calls" to make it go. 15. You open a message in "Inbox" and want to view the next message. This basic stuff is also absent. You have to go too the list screen and select the next message. 16. You want to Edit the Song name. Do it before loading it into the phone because this facility is also absent. This list seems endless and is in the process of update. My dislike for this phone is changing to hatred for Sony Ericsson products.

MJ, go for C903, because C902 camera slider keep dusts. And, C903 LED flash is brighter ! But not as bright as Xenon Flash ~.~ P.S : Don't read too much of other people's comments . Many people use this phone without any problem. Mine is as good as new now. Not even a lag ! And my memory card only 1GB ! 200+ pictures still not lagging :D

Guys I want to share what I'd experienced I bought this phone last May 29, 2010, and i preferred to drain my battery (empty battery) before charging it. after 3 weeks, this is what I'd learned one night after I'm using this phone I noticed that the message counter didn't count any message I'd sent, after a while my phone it display insert correct sim, even i tried 3 sim cards already, then i bring it on the SE store, the technician said that it was not advisable to drain the battery before charging it. They suggest to charge the battery in 10% or when it comes red. then they reprogram my phone...they said that C903 and other latest SE phone was sensitive..unlike the K750i in terms of durability it's great...

For anyone interested you can purchase this phone in the Uk three stores as a refurbished model for 60 pounds, I thought that great value. When screen brightness is 100% the light sensor is still enabled, with no power saving settings evident to turn off, it seems you cannot deactivate sensor, saw no menu for sensor settings as on some phones?

hi, have had this phone for a few months now, first sony ericsson, always had nokia, but fancied a change, love everything about the phone, camera good, can set different ringtone and text sounds for different people which is great as you always know who calling or texting without picking up phone, my only problem is i am on 02 contract and dont have internet in my package i pay £1.00 a day if i use it, although i use it on my phone occassionally it not a major thing for me, and here my problem starts, on the front screen down the bottom of it i have media to the left, menu in the centre and 02 to the right, so when pressing any of these buttons takes you straight to that application, but i keep pressing the 02 button by mistake and not always realising it either, adn therefore connecting me to the internet and costing me, does anyone know how to change this 02 button so i can change it to something else please.

The phone has a nice look but I'm not that satisfied with its Camera quality. I am using Nokia N95 8GB and there is no comparison among them. N95 8GB's Cam is much better than C903.

This C903 sound quality is better than K770 sound quality. But, I think K770 is louder A BIT only... But to me, C903 have a clearer sound in the BUILT-IN speaker. And if you use it with an EARPHONE, the sound is also clearer like walkman. It even have MEGAbass which is the MOST CLEAR equaliser setting.

As i have already commented last month about how to TURN ON THE LED LIGHT. Look at the previous pages... Turn on your camera, switch to video mode, go to setting , and then turn on flash light.

Just slide down the camera cover, then change to video mode then you are ready to go. To change to video mode, you need to press the 4th button on the right. The buttons on the right from up to down is volume increase > volume decrease > gallery > image/video mode > camera shutter. Hope this helps.

Hi kiran, the reason for SE not putting the walkman key as in w550 is bcoz c903 is cybershot, not walkman. The walkman key is very convenient when minimizing the music player (I hope my c903 has too haha). About the torch light, I also cant help you. The only way now is to on camera, switch to video mode, then on the led flash. I kinda miss tat function too. FYI i got w550 before too. Hope this helps.

u r verrrryyy right Rnc. i bought this phone a week ago and the review u have written is the besssst one abut ths phone. i bought a black one.was interested in white bt nt available in market.however sony ericson can add the walkman key (just like in w550i)also in this model. then it will be superb. i had w550i 3yrs back, and it was superb in sound,cam,walkman,torch at that time. the only thing lacking in c903 is im unable to on the flashlite to use it as torch, have tried but cud not find the solution. can anyone plz help me?

I just got this little baby few days ago, here is my short review. Pros: - Great design 9.5/10 - Great camera 9/10, it will be better with Xenon flash, but the picture quality is great. - Good video 9/10, the LED light is better than i expect, when i take video in a completely dark room, the light works well, the video is quite clear. - Bright and clear screen 9.5/10, good for images and videos, I have around 30 videos to enjoy anywhere. - Conversation style in SMS - Good battery life 9.5/10, even with low coverage still can stand up to 3 or 4 days. - Smile shutter - Music quality through earphone is great 9.5/10, with megabass equalizer. -UI is fast with no lag. Cons: - Speaker is a bit too soft, not loud enough, but the quality is quite good, pleasant to hear. - Typing sms is better and faster in my nokia 5800, but c903 is not too bad. - No wifi. For your information, i'm a male, and i own the white c903, which is so sexy. The fingerprint on the white 1 is a lot less than the one on the black. I love the design, it is like a digicam. If you are looking for a good camera phone and you dont mind about the lack of wifi, go for this sexy baby. Thanks n cheers...

I own the telephone and I have to say that I like it. The owners manual says that it comes with a secondary camera right at the top of the screen and near to the "Sony Ericsson" Label (at the right side). I have not tested it yet but if you look for the manual you can confirm this. The good: The camera works really nice. It has 5MP and I am happy with the camera. The bad: Maybe the sound could be better. Remember that is at "Cybershot" line and not at "Walkman". So the sound is good but it could be better. It has no touch screen and No wireless lan but .. who cares?!.

To use Tv-Out, you must have a cable that can be connected to the TV , or use the USB cable and connect to your DVD(if it's USB available.) . But I never try that... I just think maybe it will work. Go to MEDIA-->Setting-->TV-OUT

I modify the camdriver of c903. then i set the code to VGA resolution, actually my c903 got 2 resolution..normal mode is QVGA, night mode is in VGA record.

I am a music aficionado & give a lot of stress to the audio sound quality of a handset. I have personally tried different handsets from different manufactures like Sony Ericsson, Nokia & Motorola. But when it comes to PURE SOUND QUALITY nothing comes close to Motorola. I will try illustrating by giving an example: Think you are the boss in an office where three women are working under you. 1) Extremely beautiful lady who cannot do her work properly: Sony Ericsson Sony Ericsson renowned Walkman series phones have an exceptionally beautiful music player interface with so many controls, snazzy feel, ease of use, ability to use different skins in music player, MEGABASS etc. You think you have the best music phone but actually the case is just the opposite. It is to be noted that the audio sound quality depends on a number of factors, but in case of Sony Ericsson the only factor to be taken into consideration is it's default inbuilt equalizer setting, which instead of being a flat curve figuratively resembles the letter "V" but it doesn't stands for "Victory", alas. You can only dream of the range of 20-20000 HZ, the sound ranges from 0-80 Hz to somewhere behind 12000 Hz, and there's no middle at all. This kind of sound can be easily referred to "squeak & bass" genre, and if it may seem acceptable for those accustomed to boom boxes, a refined music connoisseur is going to be terrified. Sony Ericsson also do not provide the all important 3.5mm audio jack as it allows to avoid accidental signal distortions and we can also use the headphone of our choice, rather than buying SE branded headphones only. Well, where to start. Purchased brand new in Dec 09, within weeks it didnt recognise the mem card and started having power up issues. Its been repaired 4 times since then, and last week got a new motherboard. Yesterday it took me 13 attempts to power it up and just the other day it put all the wrong times and dates on my texts and the alarm clock changed by 12 hrs meaning i slept in. The next day it righted itself. Its going back. Such a shame because otherwise i would say its an awesome phone, but No, Im not happy.

its perfectly normal for the sound to distort when played through the inbuilt speaker. if the volume is on max it will sound rusty.if you want higher quality sound i would recommend a portable speaker.Ive got on that has super bass and its about 4 times louder than my laptop

you are happy my friend. until it breaks. which should be within a month. the good news is it the phone bad design that is at fault and there for is covered under warranty. i got mine at a phone store on a plan so the returning process was very swift. i exchanged it for a different phone from the same manufacturer after he had assured me that every single one of the C903 sold had been returned within a months. if this was a car it would have been recalled.

you need not take this phone as this phone does not support videocalling and has short battery life and has an issue with pictures and contacts as well

I have had real problems with this phone. The 1st one had really short battery life and turned itself off everytime I made a call. the shop replaced it after 3 weeks. The 2nd one has lost my photo's, won't save a screensaver and after hours of customising has lost my contact photo's for calling and txting. The key pad light is temperemental. I am just off to the shop to replace it again. Do I need to say any more ?

I got one of these from Phones4U yesterday for £99 unlocked. Its much better than expected. Camera video is great screen is so bright and clear call quality and signal great build quality although very plastic its still ok no real problems nothing creaking. Camera slide cover is robust its fine. Audio quality is fine too. I also have found the phone to be reliable and very speedy in operation its not slow at all. It seems to be one of the fastest Sony Ericsson phones I have used.

I am using C903 for the past 5 months.The quality of sound is not good and the camera is very worst even though it has got 5MP camera.It does not have front camera to make a video call.Simply to say it does not worth for money which we are paying.Please go for any other phone.

i love the c903 i have got it. its not a walkman or a meyhem party friendly phone so obviously sound and brick vibration was not on the minds. the camera takes amazing pics even at vga resolution. i would strongly recommend it if you are into sense of style, if you like capturing those important moments.

Hi guys, It seem Yari have good comparison with C903 in term of pricing. In hardware it seem Yari doesn't have lens cover, image&video stabilizer, internal memory comparing with C903. And flash light it seem c903 much batter. And Yari using microSD and C903 using microMS. On software side it seem only BestPic and smile shutter take big difference. Other feature I not much care about it. As long there is GPS, google map and email. It seem these two model all most identical and for Yari much cheaper then c903. Other much same such: GPS, geo-tag, email, bluetooth, accelerometer sensor, 5MP camera. Is it true Yari has front camera and build stereo speaker? Which C903 doesn't have this? Please correct me if i'm wrong, if someone about about this model please give opinions!!

Yeah I know that thanks so much anyway for that tip Tomme (!) just wondering what the general consensus on it was, if this might be common with other c903s or a batt fault with mine. I am just sick of trialling phones and finding they're draining quickly with what I call a 'normal' amount of use - maybe not more than sending/receiving 20 texts a day, online maybe three times for around 5 mins, call lasting about 5 mins, maybe take a couple of pics. Not at all what I would think is heavy use.

I'm finding I've got used to the wobble on the slider, but the batt life is incredibly poor! This is why I got rid of my new Jet as it was needing charging every day. It irritates me that my new c903 is not holding charge beyond 2 days. Not sure if a fault or just average for this phone.

I have got one ten days ago.It is realy good device but two things are bothering me(a little).First the light in numer pad(light is situated on left side and numbers 1,4,7 are more illuminated.Other thing is wobbly sliding panel.But I think it is not tecnical error becouse the sliding mechanism itself works fine. Just got this from dialaphone for �109.00 inc. �10.00 credit. It seems very wobbly on the top part of the slider. I love the colour and design (v similar to my trusty Samsung G600) but not sure if it should go back if this slider is going to end up being wrecked as it is so wobbly already. What did anyone else find with theirs? If it's going to stay wobbly that is ok but jus don't want to end up having to deal with constant repairs :(

Just got this phone and it works great! Smooth and comfortable pressing of the buttons and the keypad, has this sort of cushioned feeling when you press it. Sleek, smooth metallic design. Love the lacquer black one. Generously-sized screen. No freeze and no auto shutdown unlike the W series. The only flaw of this phone is where the speakers are located which may muffle the sound when the phone rings. This may be so for left-handed phone users. Apart from that, there isn't any other flaws I can think of right now. I particularly love the newly revamped and more animated SE software this new model offers. I would recommend getting it for all those SE lovers out there who are going for a good camera phone, long lasting battery life and wouldn't mind the slight thickness. 2 thumbs up for Sony Ericsson again!

We first got the phone everything seemed ok, then it failed to recognise the sim. then it told us we were using the wrong battery.finally we lost network coverage.three changed the phone for us as luck would have it we were only 1o days into the contract. we now have a Nokia 5800 very good.they said it could be repaired as it was a software problem but we decided not to risk it.

A good phone to start with, but after use shows problems. The software is buggy, so mine keeps needing to be reformatted. Also, The battery life is awful and needs to be charged every night. Having said this, I haven't had any problems with the phone in the way of fingerprints and the like. I have found that file transfer to my computer doesn't work, however this may be a compatibility issue. As a teenager who uses social networking sites constantly, I can say that the phone is excellent for this, and all sites can be used. Hope this might help someone. :)

SE C903 does it's claim regarding the scratch screen resistant feature, but it would be better if you avoid to try scratching it so that your phone will still look new even if it has been days or months since you bought it..

make sure that you set your phone to a proper mode, when taking pictures at night, the first thing that you should do is to go to settings, find the icon that is like a thunder, press select and when you see that thunder like icon appears on the screen, you may now start taking pictures, i assure you that you will like the quality of the picture if you do that.

I just bought this phone and used for 3 days. I really like it. Compared to my previous phones: W902, k850i, s500i, W890i. About the scratch resistant screen, I haven't tested any condition. Does anyone know if we just take a cloth wiping on the screen, it will cause some hair line scratches just like other SE phones?

hi last week i got c903 had heavy expectation in cam clarity its design and its sound.but but but i'm now disappointed.yes i feel its not from sony. point no 1 cam is worse i can,t take pic's in night,yes it has 16x zoom but for what normal pic's are blur think it in 16x. point no 2 :sony is well known for its sound output but it has low ou in headset,worse and ever heard before in any SE mobile. point no 3:getting heated when we use Google map. point no 4:slider gets vibrated for sound.

I have put this in other forums in case any one has read it but my k770i has gone wonky and buttons work only sometimes after only 6 months..This is my last time with s/e as the p990i and k850 and so on were supposidly my last chance with s/e but gave in to k770 as a little carry out fone for nights out but thats it..The w995 has bad fotos and video, my xperia had bad keyboard and battery and slow..The company really are shoddy and the k750i and p900i the only decent s/e mobiles..I cannot keep wasting money on expensive devices that are poor its just not on,,i would not be as bothered but i should have stopped buying s/e 2 years ago and its not as if i got any support with my sister and many others having really bad experiances..This my experiance of s/e and others may have better luck,,i am not saying dont buy its just sony are a high quality manufacturer so why invest in a joint adventure that lowers your brand..Their are still people with sony fones were i live with orange screens and a little flip down flap still in use ??? sony should end this partnership ..

HAving gone from a Nokia 6220 to this phone, I can only say that I wish I hadn't bothered. The camera quality for anything other than broad daylight is atrocious - a picture taken with a flash in a well-lit living room in the evening with friends comes out so blurry that you can barely see who's in it. it's very dark. You cannot organise your photos into folders to ensure that they don't *appear* when you hit the media button, so if you take photos on this phone, or put picture files on it, always ensure that you are happy for any picture to come up. Very unhappy.

I have the same experience.... Using the C903 i find the camera auto focusses which is sharp but then you take the photo and its a bit hazy, ive tried everything but this seems the norm... I wish the photos could have been shrper considering the 5mp camera and it being a newer model than the last one i bought 3 years ago.

The phone does not have a front camera for video calling. You can video call on it but you have to turn the camera around and use the main camera.

well to be honest I think this is a great phone it has a great camera and is makes texting easier with the conversation option the only let down I have found with this phone is that it doesnt have delivery report on text messaging but apart from that, this is a great phone for anyone.

very expensive for a phone..photo and video quality are good. LED flash is good enough but its best if it has the xenon flash. The phone has fast processor, not hanging when multitasking. No secondary camera but 3g capable.

this fone is gr8 i got this morning luvly camera and nicely spaced keypad and when u go to camera the D-pad has dedicated camra buttons!! nice software and 3 do aa really good conract for it 20 pound a month u get unlimited minutes 2 anyone on 3 200 minutes o other networks unlimited internet access and unlimited texting for 18monhs but u cn upgrade afta 14 and half months, perfect contract for anyone really!!

yeah but its much more expensive, and in my opinion, much uglier. esp the supposed stand thingy on the back. it looks and feels pathetic. its made of the shiniest, cheapest silver plastic. anyway, i have the c903 and im happy with it. only bad things are that the slider is wobbly, it catches lots of fingerprints, and the speaker is mediocre. otherwise, its okay.

Hey Buddy i am 3 retentions guy. I think C903 is much better than Nokia 6220, If you like taking quality pictures then any C series of SonyEricsson is the best. C903 has know issue of delivery report. But i think by getting a new USIM will help

hi, i just got the c903 and had the same problem, when i contacted my service provider they said that my sim card was too old because i have had it about 4 years and when i put a recent pay as you go sim card in i was given the delivery reports option, so you may need to change your sim card, your network provider should do this for you free of charge, hope this helps

C903's Specific Absorption Rate is only 0.55w/kg. It is relative low when compared with other phones. I regard this as important and I will buy it soon cos my previous experience of using K750i is excellent. I like it very much!

I've recently been upgraded from a Sony K800i to a Nokia 6220 on 3. The battery life runs out literally after 1 days, if that and i'm really not happy with it! I got this phone's CandyBar Zenon Flash edition (C901) for the last 2 days.Taking many many photos. But i am really disssapointed.Because the camera performance is not like I expected.I been using SonyEricsson K850i .I have compared the picture quality of C901 & K850i .Even an ordinary man can say the differences. It appears that the picture quality of K850i is far better than C901. I can not understand that why SonyEricsson is not paying any attention for the Cybershot series!!! If they put all their hopes on 'Satio' then Keep making one Single model like Apple(The company only makes iPHONE). But make something worthy.Don't make any other model. Its a competitive market.Nokia,Samsung,LG- all these companies are bringing out new & new models , with newer newer features. But sony ericsson's camera's performance & video quality is not improving to that extent.If they believe that Satio will cover up the money then the company can also keep in mind that their long awaited XPERIA X1 could not bring them that much success.
