  • I have it for 9 years, have been a backup phone since it can no longer support latest apps. If any of my expensive smartphone going down i'm using this phone for basic call and sms. This phone tough like tank and amazingly the battery still runs excellent and havemore power stamina than todays smartphone.

  • You were so lucky with your X8, my X8 couldn't be bootloader-unlocked so I was stuck on 2.3.7

  • OLD, BUT GOLD. It was the best phone that I had. It was compact and full of features. There was a lot of support on XDA-developers for this device, so many custom ROMs, kernels and mods. I remember, when I got my first smartphone (Xperia X8). I was amazed by its features (GPS, WiFi, Android apps...). Then I realised that java2me phones became useless. I couldn't go back to non-Android devices any more. It lost usability, when its stock Android 2.1 became unsupported by many apps. Then, I decided to revive it, so I installed custom ROM Cyanogenmod 9 (ICS) with custom kernel. I used to overclock it, play games, install system mods, tweak software, customize it... Only thing I didn't like is armv6 CPU, which can't support newer apps. Once it was accidentally laundered in washing machine, but I revived it later. It is in pretty good condition now, except some stains inside display. I still have it today, but it is outdated device, so it isn't in use.

  • Believe it or not, but I'm using that exact same Phone with the original 2 GB memory card. That's because it was my first Android phone as well and my "normal" phone broke a while ago. Surprisingly this phone is still usable as daily driver, but it's a shame that some Apps like the "Market" App (before Google Play), YouTube and WhatsApp aren't supported anymore.

  • This was, as it is the case with many other users, my first Android phone. I have very fond memories of the day I bought it; I was so happy I was able to switch from my old Symbian! (It was a long time ago and the store I bought it from doesn't exist anymore) I kept this device as my daily driver for only one year, but it is one of the most robust phones I have ever owned. Back then specs weren't really important, so it didn't matter if it had only ~200MB of RAM or a (pretty slow) 600Mhz processor. I fortunately never sold my X8, and it still is on my desk as of this day, as a reminder of the simpler times of Android 1.6.

  • Like many comments i've read and came across, this also was my first ever smartphone. It was nice, it was a gift. Even tho it was cheap it had all the functionalities. The problem lied on it's processor, Ram, internal storage and unable to move apps to the SD card. So ye, i was happy overall with it, it did the job but it took it's time xD When technology evolved I had too. 3 years later i bought a Nexus 5 in 2014. Now that is a phone, still using it today. Back to the X8, it had a good camera back then, but with so many issues coming. The screen was scratched, the battery was garbage after 3 years, browing the internet was a pain in the A$$, 3G partially worked. Overall i was happy with it But i'm glad i changed to my nexus 5, what a jump.

  • This phone is a true survivor - had it for 6 years before I changed it to a newer model, and only because some important banking apps required 5.0+ Android. However, 2.1 Eclair just didn't cut it... so I rooted it, installed FroyoPro, and eventually ditched Google apps because they were hogging the storage and memory. Formatted the SD card so it had an ext2 partition, installed link2sd, and the phone worked like a boss. At times I had almost a week of battery uptime with light usage, I'm not kidding. Tbh, I would've kept it as it was if not for the necessary software update, as it was incredibly reliable and could run all of the needed apps, even GPS. And realistically - what more would you even need from a phone?

  • Whatsapp unsupported. whatsapp is unfair company and software. i have tried install wechat to my old symbian phone. it still work fine. wechat still leave version for older phone and still fine. whatsapp is unfair because pushing user to update the lastest version and reject older smartphone user. i really hates whatsapp

  • Another thing: despite it's 15 millimeter thickness, and a body, which is not considered as permium, I was still comfortable with testing such an old phone. It still worked perfectly fine. I did not even notice the missing premium design and thickness, because phones are built for practical functionality originally. There has to be at least one brand, that does not sacrifice anything for design.

  • I tried that device today. Despite having Android 2.1 with a highly crippled notification center without function toggles, that device still worked very smoothly and it was pretty comfortable to work with it. Somehow, I am a fan of retrocomputing. Why? New technology does not physically change old one. It does not get worse, except Apple messed up the iPhone 4s from 2009 using iOS9, which intentionally crippled the general performance and experience of the device.

  • My first smartphone. Bought operator locked in 2010 and unlocked two years later. Learned to hate Sony for their contemptuous lack of support for this small but great phone. Installed a cooked Android 2.3 and kept it up to 2014, then, to my present regret, sold it away.

  • This phone is undestructible! It still works after 5 yrs... The speaker is awesome. The lens still takes good pictures and the phone doesn't lag even tho upgrading to custom Android 2.3

  • Smallest Android phone i ever owned and it still works after 6 years! The battery and buttons are still good and the lens takes sharp pictures. I put the Super User and Link2SD hack on it and formatted the SD card half Windows half Linux so I could move apps from the internal storage to the memory card. If Android Market or Web browser don't work it's probably because the date and times are set wrong on your phone (If it's getting it from the SIM and the SIM is disabled set the time manually).

  • Durable and reliable phone. Lags on some apps and low internal storage. Decent performance for its age. Even better after rooting it. Original battery still holds up well surprisingly. No regret on purchase even after 4 years of use.

  • I own this phone since February 2011. That was 4 years ago and it's still working. It's a good quality phone. It fell out of my pocket and the screen once hit a spiky rock. All it got was a really small dent. Well,it over time it "earned" a really small crack at the upper-left corner close to USB/charger connector and sometimes it has trouble "detecting" the charger, but after hitting the floor so many times, I am surprised it's still working. Even the battery, the same one I had when I bought the phone still has a pretty good life. It will last 2-4 hours when actively using the phone, depending if it's surfing, playing games or watching videos. When I am not using it a lot, it can easily last for 2 days, sometimes more. For a 4 years old battery it's not bad at all. X8's performance is not too bad. It can run some older 3D games such as Raging Thunder 2 and Duke Nukem 3D pretty smoothly and can even run NES games with Nesoid almost perfectly, which I loved the most :D. It can get slow after using multiple apps, so unless you don't mind it, using a task manager to free some RAM is a must. It has trouble opening sites with large contents when using a default browser, so Opera Mini or some other similar browser is recommended. One of the most disappointing things about this phone is that it doesn't have an update above Android 2.1. Sony really disappointed me for not making at least Android 2.2 update for this phone. It really needed it for one good reason, its low storage space. You will run out of it pretty quickly, since you can't move apps to SD card. But thanks to some nice people, there are a lot of different custom roms that you can flash and make it into a decent phone and say goodbye to 2.1 Eclair. I really recommend you to do this, you won't regret it,. You will get a lot of good stuff, this includes better performance and even battery life. However, I advise you to carefully follow the instructions while attempting to flash a rom or you may earn yourself a brick. Oh, since we're already mentioning Sony and bricks, shame on them for ending the support for Sony Update Service. Why they took away a program which successfuly saved my phone from Hard bricking and forced us to use that garbage called PC Companion which failed the same thing and is MUCH slower is still beyond me. You can't even use SUS anymore. All you get is a message: "To update the software in your device, use PC Companion instead" which made me change my mind about having some Sony device as my new phone. Ok, back to Xperia X8... The camera, it sucks. It can't zoom, it doesn't have many options and the quality is nothing special. On the other hand, I liked it because it can record videos in 30 frames per second. The screen doesn't support dual touch, which means it will be hard or impossible to use some apps properly. Most good custom roms can provide "Fake dual touch" which allows you to use "Pinch to zoom" which can be useful while browsing the internet, but it's not working perfectly like the real dual touch. At least the screen has a great scratch resistan protection. The speakers are what you would expect from a phone, not too bad for the price. Earphones you get with the phone are horrible and the music player does not offer equalizer and it has very limited options, so I highly recommend a good 3rd party music player. Better earphones are also an option. There are 6 hardware buttons on the device. I can use 4 of those in emulators such as Nesoid to make games playable due to the lack of multitouch. I kind of broke my "Back" button after pressing it too hard with reflexes to make Mario jump higher.xD And you're right, he never jumped any higher than usual. The button is still working, but it kind of "sinked" into the phone a bit and now I must press it harder to work than other buttons next to it. Overall, it's a really great phone for its time. Even today it's good for users who need a low end phone with basic requirements. The only complaint is that Sony blew a chance for making it a better phone by not releasin Froyo update. For the price it was really worth it, especially after flashing a custom rom. But don't expect it to match with even with today's low end phones with its old processor, low RAM and low internal storage.

  • + solid device, fell down countless times and still works great + custom kernel + cm7 everything works + tiny,fits in a hand! yes, for me thats no con - battery ... - cpu is low (600mhz, 1 core) - limited space (~500mb) choose your apps wisely lol to sum it up > its a tiny, simple but good walkman/phone/cam and considering the age (2010) most apps are still supported (not via playstore, since stock android version was 2.1)

  • yes it is possible to upgrade your phone 11w42 but you need to install clockworkmod or xrecovery and flash gingerDX 30 stock,becuse this rom is fast on stock kernel

  • This is an excellent phone overall, although the Android version is very old, it doesn't have LED flash and sometimes lags horribly.

  • yes this phone is great but is low internal memory. Only have 128MB,and my sony ericsson xperia x8 is sometimes not working.

  • If you want android 4.1 or 4.2 Jelly bean you need unlocked bootloader,under the battery date need to be less than 11w29 (or 11w34 but that is very risky) ask for more details :)

  • For SE xperia x8 you need unlocked bootloader if you want speed with cm7 if not it willa lag allot,for cm7 instal clockworkmod and flash it bu i recomened custom kernel and OC to 729 mHZ

  • I have the same problem, but managed to fix it: 1) Remove your SD Card *remember to mount it* 2) 5 minutes later, insert the SD Card back into the slot. 3) If it still doesn't work, try rebooting your phone and inserting the SD Card again.

  • I am running this phone for about 4 months. I am using minCM7.2 (2.3.7). Phone is very stable. Battery consuming is small. miniCM7.2 is very good balance between phne funcionality and speed. I'd dare to say: I don't loose either ;) Don't hasitate to install it.

  • Sony Ericsson xPeria x8 runs best on 1.6 ,after upgrade to 2.1 it lacks some speed, but runs market app which were not run on 1.6 . when i upgraded it to 2.3.7 it shows speed and graphics also , but it hangs when 3 or 4 operations run simultaneously. 4.1 version just upgrade graphics and lacks battery timing , co functionality of x8.

  • if you mean data..i think you can use the pc companion from SE site..but with regards to apps..i guess you have to upgrade your firmware to 2.3 gingerbread to be able to install or transfer APP files to your external memory. else 2.1 doesnt support that

  • To anyone who is still using this phone(as I am) - go to XDA forums, find out how to root your device, install custom recovery, and boot GingerDX ROM - you will have Android 2.3.7 and the phone will still be usable for some time, because stock 2.1 is really outdated and the old Sony Ericsson android skin simply sucks.   • Doing that is not enough. That's a soft reset - you need to hard reset the phone. Try repairing it with PC Companion. Or better yet, root it and install a 2.2+ ROM. You would not only solve that problem but also many others. What good is 2.1 to you?

  • This phone, you shouldn't install undervolt or overclock modul. For long time use, your touch screen will freeze at some place of the screen (it is mean no feedback from our finger touch). If you are interested to use cusROM, try froyopro (doesn't has any bad effect for long time use) from xda. If you want jellybean phone, buy newer xperia series get official ice cream sandwich.

It drink lot of memory resource and it lockdown some I/O interrupt's. so uninstall the last app and restart the phone. two day's once restart the phone. so memory will be fresh and free. then your touch problem will solve.   • go to xda-developers. but make sure to check manufactor date,before unlocking bootloader. better to install custom rom for stock. gingerdx is quite famous. all got pros and cons.

  • Its a very fast smartphone... ON CUSTOM ROMS!!!(2.3.7 and 4.1.2)

  • I've had this phone for 3 years now and I'm very satisfied with it. I got it for free from my phone company and tried it with its original software, wich was very dissapointing. Then I rooted it and tried many roms until I found one from www.xorom.tk (based on MiniCM6) wich fullfilled my expectatives. Of course, as many of you said, you cannot expect wonders out of a cheap 600mhz and 168mb RAM with little memory space. But I played countless games like Angry birds without problems and I always use it like car and trekking gps with sygic maps and oruxmaps and never had a problem until now that the battery runs out too quickly. But that happens to every rechargearble battery device.

  • I admit the phone is a bit slow sometimes, but what do expect from a 600mhz processor and a 175mb ram? If you want smth that has peak performance u have to pay at least 3 times what this costed 2 years ago. Of course I wouldnt recommend some1 to buy it now, but if you bought it 1-2 years ago, you shouldnt have any complaints. Unfortunatly I cant bootload mine to install a custom kernel since it is 11w49, but even with the stock kernel you cn install many great custom roms, like kuyandroid v4.5.4 [based on CyanogenMod7(based on gingerbread 2.3.7)], which i have installed, and get many more options. Plus u cn overclock it to 710mHz, where most x8s are stable, and get a pretty good phone. I have met at least 10 ppl that have this phone and have no problems, so if some1 has one that gives them problems, well, you got unlucky... Mine works fine 2 years now, even thou I have dropped it down countless times, and it still has no problems. The only thing I could complain about, is the battery cover design. I mean, just why??

  • I own this phone about 2 years, battery life changed after rooting, expeiriencing android 2.3.5 was good choise, but i wanted more, so unlocked bootloader allowed me to install 4.1 but it was incomplete. Now, i have Xpeira X8 with 4.0 ICS, battery life reaches 3-4 days in standby mode :) Hardaware spec are too low for 4.0, but i think it is faster a bit :D

NEGATIVE: downloaded and installed applications in android market are saved in phone memory. that means your 2GB/8GB/16GB memory card is only useful for pictures, MP3, videos etc. you need to get your phone rooted first then upgrade to Gingerbread to have your apps saved in your memory card. ====================================== battery life? depends how your phone is setup or how often do you use it for music, watching videos, taking pictures. for me, my X8 is 2yrs old and I often use it as a music player, text and call. full charged batt lasts up to 12hrs. and i think it's not bad. this phone has a fair price for its features.

  • Try repairing your phone using Sony PC Companion or Sony Update Service. If its a software issue, this should fix it. If its hardware issue, you can give it to Sony Service Centre for free repair under warranty. Of course they will fix software issues as well. This is your best option. Even then if doesn't work, someone sold you a defective piece.

  • Been using this phone for a year. Awesome Phone Battery is good with apps like Juice defender lite and task manager. Rooting helps it to stay fast. No complains :) Camera and Sound is Okay..Not verry good or good ! Just okay but more than enough for normal use :) Its really worth the price !

  • I have a big problem with this phone while wifi is on it always restart with itself nearly each 5 min sometimes while I'm talking, some times can't read the memory card, erase some of my contacts when I returned it to the seller all what he died put a new software and give it to me doing the same as befor I'm suffering from this phone

  • This Phone is Spiced with all the basic things a smart phone should have that might whet your appetite. But there is one Big Problem. The battery is a devastating issue as it does not last at all especially when Data is enabled not to talk about enabling 3G (HSDPA/UA) mean while it rocks when u root it and have a custom gingerbread 2.6.7 (cyanogenmod) installed. But the same Battery issue will begin to bother you and gradually you will realize that u might need to carry your charger any time you step out. This is significantly annoying. Stock Firmware also restricts you from alot of things like disabling the automatic brightness, enhancing Bass bost for audio experiences

The problem occur when i use this phone is no multitouch, small size of internal memory, and whatever apps u download, its will be automatically located in internal/phone memory and u cannot move it to SD card.   • Officially, you can not upgrade higher than 2.1. You will have to Root it to get GB custom ROM. This will void your warranty. So you decide.

  • Hi, Glad to help you. You can root it many ways. (Flash tools is the easiest way). Download the Flash Tools and follow the steps in following link. (This is not my blog, but really helpful. Pretty much every thing is included there, even custom roms also. Credit goes to the developers) I have installed GingerCruzt (Stock kernal). Go for revision 8.4. Download links are there. This is my daily rom. No bug with mine, everything works fine. After upgrading you can easily enable dual touch. Follow the same blog, everything is there.

  • This is very good low cost middle range android phone. Camera is quite good even without having zooming(3.15 megapixel). Sony doesn't provide OS upgrades beyond 2.1 (Eclair), but I have rooted and install GingerCruzt (2.3.7) which runs very smoothly. Every function works perfectly. Battery lasts for 2day with heavy usage, talking time near to 2 hours, browsing through wi-fi, gaming etc. Since my device has synaptic touchscreen I could enable dual touch.Now my phone is capable of handling dual touch.(To enable dual touch phone should be rooted and relevant modules should be executed using terminal emulator) I have used this phone for more than 6 months and I have pretty much satisfied. According to my point of view I think this is very good phone.

  • Get the Samusung galaxy, I absolutely hate my x8!! It is slow, freezes all the time extremely hard to type on and it shuts it self down nearly everyday. Look for a blackberry :)

  • Press and hold the box "EN" in ur keyboard. Then, the settings for ur keyboard will be showed. U can change ur settings thr.

  • If you want a good, cheap android phone then go for this. I don't know what everyone seems to find wrong with it - I've never had any bother at all. The screen isn't multi touch but it still is responsive and quick. If you think the memory is too small then get a task killer app to close apps you don't need. The phone has enough room for nearly all the apps I want, which is quite a lot. It comes with a lot of useless apps (at least from my point of view) like Datavitz Roadsync. It's basically an extra email app that doesn't even seem to work with a Gmail account. I use the ROM toolbox app to remove system apps I don't need. WARNING: IT CAN BRICK YOUR PHONE IF YOU UNINSTALL A CRUCIAL APP, ALTHOUGH IT WORKED FINE FOR ME. Also this app needs a rooted phone, but can be done with Superoneclick. (another risky business I came through). The only downside to the phone is that it only has android 2.1. A lot of the apps require at least android 2.3 to run. The camera would never satisfy photographers, but it's handy if it's the only thing you have available. The apps supplied are pretty basic, and I hate the SE homescreen. Instead I use Go launcher Ex. It's a great launcher and really fast. It also supports themes, so I can get the ICS android 4 look easily, with a performance bonus. You can also customize the lock screen with go locker, also by go launcher. It also supports an ICS theme which looks very nice. In other words, this a great phone which I'd really recommend. If you don't like something on it, there's nearly always a way to fix it! Hope this encourages you to buy an Xperia X8 if you're thinking about buying one. Bye!

Often it shuts down by itself and I don't know why! It has very low internal memory and I cannot store my apps to my memory card.   • I've been using this phone for more than a year, just dropped by here to give thanks to SE for making such a nice phone. I use link2sd and change my rom time to time, this phone gives me nice experiences. Of course its old processor and very small ram wouldn't do hardcore apps, but for browsing, texting, fb, twitter, youtube(i use tubemate), reading tons of ebooks, my x8 does its job fairly well. im planning to get SE live as soon as I could.   • This is a very good phone if, and only if you are patient enough to learn how to root it get the Link2SD to work. If you are not patient enough to read tutorials, download the required software, and learn, then do not buy this phone. It took me 3 hours to learn what to do, find working download links to get the programs to root it, then flash the phonebaseband for E6 to E15, then partition the SD card, then get Link2SD to work. And I'm a technical person. It is worth the hard work, as no more storage problem since apps can be moved to the SD card. And you can remove all the bloatware from your phone to increase ram and internal memory as well. (with Root Explorer) As to the so-so points: Yes the camera is not fantastic, just ok for causal shots. No macro, no zoom. i have a very good Panasonic camera, so I do not care about my phone camera. Yes the video recording is not perfect, some framedrops. Just fine for casual use. Who cares? When I want video, I want 720p minimum, and I would need a phone 3 times as expensive for that. Yes screen is small, but it's sharp. Yes phone can be a bit slow sometimes, nothing to worry about though. With a good task killer, it works better. Battery is fine, 5 hours of continuous use with wifi and bvrowsing. Otherwise, with wifi off, gps off, 3G off during the day, I charge it every other day or less. (and I use it 2 hours a day for gaming or stuff) The good points: The price! The size! The sharp resolution of the screen! All the things it can do quite well: GPS tracking for sports (easy to fit in a pocket!), Ebook reading, casual gaming (many games work fine, just not 3D games, come on, it's not meant for this), music player, video is ok if you get a large size SD card, class 4. Youtube works fine! Android 2.1 is good enough for everything, no need to install a new rom. (but you still can, so this is great!) So for those of you who do not even read tutorials and do not understand technical stuff: buy another phone. The low internal memory makes the phone useless. For the rest of us, this is a great phone to play with.

  • You can move your apps in SD card with app like app2sd, But before that you have to upgrade your Android version to 2.2 or later. Unfortunately SE does not have any official upgrade over 2.1. You may do it manually. For that you must root your phone (Voids warranty!! chance of bricking of your phone!!!) and install a custom ROM (like Froyo). Then use apps like app2sd.   • Stupid phone! You can not unlock bootloader, if you attempt, phone becomes hard bricked. So, there is no way you can upgrade the Kernel thus you can not use Tethering (use your phone as internet gateway). Bluetooth does not have DUN or PAN profile. So you can not use Bluetooth either to use your phone as gateway (whereas even cheap phones have DUN and / or PAN profile)

  • The camera is the app panel(u can access too with the button on the right side of the phone). The player is in the upper-right corner. I just bought the phone (a sony after a long time) and the battery is very weak, im a new user in android, i had to download opera mobile, a file manager and now im looking for a media player cos the ones included are bad. Id wish the phone have the option for t9 writting, cos the qwerty keypad is too small. You need disactivate a lot of services right after turn on the phone, otherwise the battery and your credit will go down without noticing it. In overall i think is a cheap good phone wich includes android, just bring the charger with you wherever you go.

  • I've had the phone for a little over a year now, still works very well with 2-3 days battery life per charge if I don't abuse music, still get a solid day if I play music all day. USB port seems to be going, but it has been roughly handled at times so it's probably my phone. Considering its price it's a very good phone, I recommend it to people who want an allrounder on a small wallet. I would recommend putting a custom rom on it if you have the know-how, but the default one is fine, I used it for half a year and had no issues.

  • I had this phone for more than a year and I am fairly happy. You have to be careful with the apps you install cos it can turn to be very slow. The camera is quite poor and there is not led flash. The thing which bother me the most about this phone is the size of the screen, too small to write confortably if your fingers are medium size or above.

  • my sis has vivaz. she is not satisfied with its camera. despite the fact that vivaz has a 8Mp camera, but the quality of photos aren't as good as they should be. i use x8 and i am happy with its camera, you know it has a 3.2Mp camera.

  • This phone MUST be rooted to unleash the full potential of decent performance and phone-use. I was so frustrated in many ways when it was still in factory form. Just the basic texting, responsiveness and battery life was disappointing. But those problems went away after I've installed the recommended rom and now the battery lasts forever. (note: this phone is not for extreme gaming or taking high quality pictures)

  • I hate the x8 like seriously, it is just a piece of crap designed by SE, (bad move SE) with a 600MHZ processor, why cant it run angry birds without lag?? no pinch zoom support, crappy performance, lags and freezes at games. (note: i am using an out-of-the-factory x8 and i did not tamper the insides i.e, rooting or flashing a rom) the camera performance cant be any worse, its the worst 3.2mp shooter i've seen. Apps can freeze, typing a text couldnt be any lagger...

  • well, i would like to tell some things about my x8.. -i would like to disagree about the "no multi touch thing" because i could use the dual touch module.. -yes,it maybe force close some apps,but maybe this is because too much apps are occupying your RAM/memory, that's why.. i constantly check my running apps, and so i found out that greater than half of the phone memory is eaten by running processes.. -i've been using this phone for about 6months..try to use the internet on how to maximize your phone's usage,battery, and lag errors..it's all in the web.. -love x8..if you know how to fall in love with it.. ^_^

  • hi am jackson .. i just used this phone for 1 year and rooted it and this is my review from my point of experience : � firstly i will introduce the advantages of using such phone : 1.very good display screen for photos and videos 2.perfect loud speaker while playing mp3s compared to all new produced phones it is very very good 3.perfect battery.. i used it for 5 hours using WiFi and with on screen without closing WiFi or screen that's extremely good 4.strong body made of plastic 5.nice camera � the mobile defects : 1.although the processor is 600 MHz it seems that it is slower than this value and this appeared clearly while playing games .. i play angry birds on x8 and on iphone 3gs with processor 600 MHz it appears very clear that the game is running so much better on iphone 3gs with no lags althoug they have same CPU.. not sure is this problem due to processor or the GPU or twice . i think it is the most disappointing point form my view. 2.down the screen the touch response is very bad dk why .. even after updating and even after installing custom roms. 3.the music player is not good enough without equalizer. 4.no multitouch support..even after installing custom rom with multi touch capability it brings multitouch touch to screen which is designed for single touch only so the quality of custom roms multi touch is too damn bad. 5.screen size is small 6.while multi tasking the mobile hangs and freezes and many force closes happened after installing custom roms ######

  • imho, buy samsung galaxy y. it has better processor (833 ghz), newer os (gingerbread), support multitouch, better RAM (278). but galaxy y has poor screen quality. i don't think both phone support flash since both have old arm v6 processor that doesn't support flash player.

  • well I'm not having problem with my sd card, maybe because your sd card is only class 2 or 4, you must use a class 10 sd card if you want to use 16gb sd cards.
