ZTE Blade S6 - User Reviews

  • This is the best phone I have ever had though it does get hot very quickly. I would definitely recommend.

  • u are fit3 the best phone in times of 4g LTE phones ,currently I am using it .

  • A very good phone. I have used it for a couple of years with no problems at all. Very reliable, handy and fast.

  • hi you are right about it being very hot,,i even put it on cold floor for It to cool down u cant pick a call when its hot its burns a little and drain battery faster, its, what do I do about that to stop over heating ? otherwise its one of the best phone I have used clear camera and its faster ,,I now have two of them one old and one new ..but the new its still over heating give me a solution

  • This phone is the worst! there's always something wrong with it, and there was an app on it that was installed from the beginning that gives you tons of viruses if opened! I found out that the app also tracks everything you do, and had lots of information about me. there is almost no cover's for this phone, It's cheap crap in my opinion

  • i can say dis is d best phone ve ever used.ve used a lot of brands ,bt q5 stands tall.d best thing about dis phone is it hardly or never got heated. ve recommend it 4 a lot of people & dey are thinking me 4 it.so i recommend it 4 anyone dat wnt to buy it.go 4 it & u will nt regret. two tumbs up 4 q5.

  • I use this phone for over a year and it is best phon i had so far i had some provlems but nothing sirious 10/10

  • This is the worst phone I have ever used. It switched itself off and on constantly. I read online that to fix this I had to clear the sd card and phone and restore to factory settings. I di this and it worked for a week before I hade to repeat this procedure again. This continued for months until I finally took it back to point of purchase to be told it was my fault and I must have got the phone wet, which was completely false and I took great care of the phone as I had with others. This is a crappy device and don't waste your money!

  • This is the BEST smart phone I ever had for the similar price range. I used it for 2 years (since March 2015). It is very handy and looks like i7. ZTE s6 is a very handy, slim and light weight. The Camera is much more better than most of the Samsung smart phones. It is more comparable with Samsung j7 prime and I feel ZTE s6 is still better than j7 prime as it is faster. The in-built battery lasted 2 years and then swollen. I change the battery and phone is still working.

  • Hi I am shah from pakistan. I had use this phone. Where i can get this phone in pakistan ?

  • It's a smart phone.. sometimes too smart til it get confused ans start opening many applications and do'es things that you don't want to happens... beside that it's fast and easy to use. The battery get heat too fast and too many times, unfortunately, and get empty too fast as well. The microphone on speaker mode is really poor and i get a lot of complaints during a conversation. Because the phone get hot you can't talk on regular mode, only speaker mode. Beside those 3 things, it's a pretty good phone.

  • Well it is on par with iphone in some ways in 2015, but comparing it to iphone7 is way too much. First of all iphone 7 is one of the latest flagship, and blade s6 is a midrange phone of 2015. It is not overrated if you will compare to iphone models of 2015, though, there will be a gap of difference over time either positive or negative, it depends on the user.

  • One of the best zte model Solid aluminum, well built. Great quality sound. Works very well with 4g. Flawlessly For some countries they made this model with 32gb storage , in Hong Kong I saw the same but with 3Gb ram. They made a version of 8gb and 1gb ram for Vodafone worldwide. This smartphone is a great value for money. For the price and even more ..you will not have better smartphone for sure Some people made a root for android 6 and its perfect. As you all know, android 5 is not so nice ...

  • Not Bad.i Think this phone get heated so quickly. Other Functions are good.

  • Sound quality of this phone is very poor. It can be possible to increase, because no Service centre in delhi NCR/India.

  • It's a cheap phone and i sold it. If you want to play some games, it has a good midrange cpu but in the context of 2015 not 2017.

  • can u able to play hd game in s6 properly?

  • This fon is full of shit doesn't hve power to cach network... I lost my money don't trust you guys

  • most definitely

  • I agree completely!!!

  • My help pls Wi-Fi and hotspot is not open

  • 'u trust a quad more than this" now that's saying something...Come on Quadraplegics aren't that bad. Battery is pretty poor, phone is a 4/10 overall for me

  • You just had a bad unit. This phone was great in its time with price/specs ratio : lte, dual sim, microsd, good hd screen for less than 150$

  • This phone is a piece of crap. Closes apps for no reason touch detection is so way off I'd trust a quadriplegic more then this pile of waste.

  • Good

  • I have had this phone for a bit over a year, and as a cheap smartphone, it does the job nicely for me. It runs pretty quickly, has had good reliability, and I can't complain about the functionality too much... video calls not being available is an odd limitation for such a phone. The case itself, however, is cracked in various locations around the edges. Nothing life-threatening, and I would be more annoyed if I didn't keep the phone in a leather case. Not bad for a cheap phone.

  • Such an overrated piece of crap. In the internet, I read things like "iPhone 6s" killer. First of all, how do you dare to compare a phone with SD615 (one tip: it has 600 single core score because of it's low end A53 architecture and they compare it to one of the fastest if not THE fastest phone after iPhone 7 with 2400 Single Core score and 50 times faster NVMe storage compared to expectedly slow cheap eMMC 5.1. Please, don't care about cores, SD card, camera Megapixels... test the phone yourself and get the fact that this is one overrated phone

  • Specs look exactly like my much-hated Xperia M4 Aqua but with iPhone-copy design and from an unknown chinese manufacturer. Not worth 80€

  • How to retrie my old photos

  • The is one of the worst phone I've ever seen I bought one and the screen went off that's all it never came back again and I can't get another screen to buy again

  • this phone is the worst hone ever i had my phone for a month and it breaks. it won't charge anymore don't buy this phone it's a piece of shit.

  • My Zte Can't play crisis action

  • All Chinese dual-sim phones have only 1 sim for 4/3.5/3G data, the second sim is cellular only. Why do you need 2 data connections from 1 phone?!

  • My front touch glass screen has been break . pls give me service centre address in delhi

  • My zte s6 second sim doesn't have mobile data setting ..plz help me

  • My zte s6 sim 2 doesn't support mobile data. .Please help me

  • Jio bar code is not generating bar code

  • Hello naman You can call via jio 4 g voice app on 1977 Or of you see volte network plz reply me

  • Please help me.... I have also blade s6 my jio sim show network but I can't make call on 1977 for activation even when I use jio4gvoice with my wifi....

  • Does zte blade s6 support volte network Mine one is support only Jio 4g not Jio Volte Is there is any way to enable volte

  • Because ZTE doesn't care about updates...*sigh*

  • You're right. I'm only saying that in terms of design, but in terms of function, it's quite disappointment. This might not the best zte smartphone I've ever used.

  • My s6 Cannot update. .why? solution please

  • Second sim supports only 2g!!!

  • Why its not detect any sim. i have tried many sim. but its cannot detect any one of them. why??? arghh.. regret for bought the zte brand

  • After a while you can tell where costs have been cut, the camera is dreadful it randomly decides to drop calls and the mic is very unreliable. All in all a big pile of over rated rubbish. Avoid!

  • I think my lumia windows phone had much better security. I didn't like the launcher and downloaded the Nova launcher which is better as it has the names of the icons. I never knew what the icons were supposed to be with the myfavor launcher. When I miss the windows look I sometimes swap to the 8.1 metro launcher. It's not a bad phone - but generally - I'm a fan of Windows against Android.

  • The battery seems to run down quite quickly. Is there a solution for that?

  • What is the actual internal memory available on this mobile, is it 16 GB. It shows 7 GB available to me, why would it show like that?

  • Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset supports 64bit android system its like 20% or more faster than 32bit android we have 5.0.2 lollipop 32bit if they gave us 5.1.1 64bit or 6.0 marsh would be alot better and will score more on antutu in the end ship supports 64bit but android version is 32bit hope that helped :)

  • Maybe i'm stupid but what does your system being either 32 or 64 bit has to do anything with Blade S6 updates? What's your point? And do you mean your PC is 32bit because i don't think there is Blade S6 with 32bit chip available?

  • problem is my systemn is 32 bit not 64 bit we should all contact zte to give us update :(

  • I'm almost 100% sure that there won't be anymore updates for Blade S6. ZTE honestly don't care about updates. They make great phones but lacks any kind of support and i'm quite sure that it won't change anytime soon if ever.

  • so we not getten any upgrades ?

  • Sim card2 not supported internet

  • What is the mean of volet and work of in zte blade s6?

  • agree with this joker sim2 - will have problem i put a 4g sim card but signal receive 3g

  • I'm quite sure that even ZTE can't confirm anything at this point but i'm almost 100% sure that Blade S6 won't get Marshmallow, maybe Blade S7 will (or not even that!) ZTE makes good/great phones but because of their almost total lack of software support they will never make their way to the big league.

  • GOOD REVIEW!. what about the phones temperature because the snapdragon 615 does have heating issue?? and is there a chance this phone will receive android mashmallow?.

  • can anyone please conform with me..will ZTE BLADE S6 recieve android 6.0??????? thanks.

  • Does this phone support VO-LTE?

  • Gives a great deal of trouble though its a great phone. The music app keeps closing as soon as its opened, and the speakers fry easily. It is a good phone other than that tho

  • I won't trust ZTE anymore until they start a decent support of all their mid to high range devices. Support of Blade S6 has been too much disappointing. Phone is stuck with lollipop 5.0.2 with its bugs and security flaws.

  • Too bad ZTE is crappy when it comes to updates so probably no Marshmallow update for this model... ...ZTE only supports their high end Axon line-up :/

  • Agree with everything you've posted. I've had mine since November 2015. Good phone for the price.

  • Just had same problem so going back under guarantee

  • Max is 64GB. Works well with class 10.

  • The maximum expandable capacity is 32gb

  • ive had this phone since december and it awful it doesnt charge and when it does it dies too quickly

  • every time i click the wifi setting, ''setting unfortunately stopped'' i regret to buy zte blade 6

  • I am using blade s6 and it is just affordable for its price.. Just worthy for thrifting to buy a new smartphone..

  • I am using blade s6 and it is just affordable for its price.. Just worthy for thrifting to buy a new smartphone..

  • 2 disadvantages...First the lowrange volume of the radio (speakers and hands free) and second and most serious the low life of battery after charging lasts no more than 10 hours..

  • Very bad GPS, the worse I had in years

  • I have the Australian version of the phone and I've been using it heavily as my main phone for a few months. The build quality isn't great. The glass is just glass, no resistance or anything fancy. The body is plastic, but sturdy. Overall, ive dropped it a fair bit, but the only notable damage is a tiny scratch on the glass and a scratch on the top corner of the device. The software is great, but a restart every month is recommended. The Australian version runs on stock Android lollipop 5.0.2 with an alternate icon pack. Unlike other releases of the Blade S6, the Australian version has an app drawer. It comes pre-loaded with a few apps such as camera360, Clean Master, TouchPal and so on. All software I've used has been smooth and snappy, that includes graphically demanding apps and apps you would typically expect to only be able to use on a high end phone. So you will have no worries playing around with this device if your a techie. The battery lasts me all day on standard use, with 40-30% battery left in the afternoon. So you can comfortably use the device without worrying about battery life, as long as you put it on charge of a night. Although, the device can get hot if you have a lot of processes running while charging. The battery also isn't removable, if that bothers you. The device never crashed on me though, and I threw some pretty heavy software at it so the battery issue didn't bother me. The 13mega pixel back camera does not work well under low light conditions, but works pretty good in well lit areas. It'll do fine for posting on instagram and what not. Notably though sometimes images can look a little pastely. The back facing camera also uses a special lense built for "groupies" so the images will fit more in. I haven't ever used the front facing camera though. Connectivity was great, it loaded web pages and videos quickly. I did have issues with the dual sim tray every now and then, but that was fixed in a few second by just sliding it out and in again. Sound out put is average, the speakers at the back and has a small bump next to it to improve sound when the phones laying down. I don't know if that actually works but it's a nice gesture. Call audio quality was clear and load enough. Gaming ran smoothly and fast, a few (very few) heavy games took some time to load though. I've only had two crashes so far. I didn't test sound recording. The gimicy gestures work, if you want to look like an idiot performing them. The display is near HD but not quite.you wouldn't question it though, it looks HD and everything is smooth. Multitasking is probably the most impressive thing, along side the overall speed. Storage is expendable and can hold more then the recommend size of 64gb. The device looks, feels and overall handles like a high end phone the bevelled edges make it easy to hold the navigation buttons look awesome. It's speed is competitive with high end devices and in all honest opinion was actually faster in most cases then the iPhone 6. For its price, if your willing to buy a phone case and screen protector is one of the better choices for a budget phone.

  • For price it's a good phone seen few saying bloatware is to much I never noticed it I added custom launcher (ubuntu) also needed as phone has no app draw that I could find. I then added avast ran remove bloatware function and it's a happy phone now. and yes it run fast/ smooth it's not a Samsung s6 is best thing to it. Phone last me a day and half on basic use full day on heavy call use as for gaming I have no idea on power use I don't play mobile games myself.

  • No it's not

  • my S6 will not recognise 64gb card

  • Before I forget: I have the phone for about 5 months now and have been using it intensively. Except for phoning, which is a joke.

  • (continued) .. is only 7.51 Gb (sd), while internal is 7.71 Gb, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR SD CARD SIZE IS. Sounds more like an internal partition to me, to hide SD card inability.. On top, it does not allow you to copy to SD card or create any files on it, which confirms suspicion on inability. 4. Headset plugin: non-existent, most of the time. Neither a headphone, nor aux-out into car radio. So no solution to bypass regular phone sound issue either. 5. I will not even start about other issues, such as material (most slippery phone ever in my average size male hands, impossible to hold in one hand, unless with extra sleeve) or weird button choice (right button press brings up some color scheme you'll never use, ever, so you'll have to long-press to see menu of open apps, which gets really annoying) or the overall annoyance of much worse swiping precision than my Nexus4 was, which had much lower specs. "All else" works fine.. All in all, if you buy a phone that you can't phone with, not use it for navigation and cannot use it with a headset, then it's time to wonder what you spent hundreds of euros on. And which was far too expensive to throw away and move on to something that actually works.

  • Let's face it folks: I bought an expensive brick here.. The issues are all the same and the after -sales service people are sitting 24h on the forums to post anonymous praises and deceiving replies on its major flaws. My first Blade was a good one, but this one failed big time. So I advice all future users to give this one a wide gap and spend your buck on a decent phone, one where at least the TELEPHONE function works! So here's the list and the misleading advice. I can't speak for any "versions" (Asian vs European, etc.) as I live in Europe and received an Asian one via a legal dealer, so pretty much the "safest" channel. 1. Phone "quality": for unexplained reasons, the other side of the line will not simply not hear you every fourth call or so or during the call itself suddenly. This does NOT have to do with putting it to your ear, as some claim. What does work (half of the time) is switching to speaker phone and/or back to regular mic. Sometimes. This basically ruins the phone already as your friends and family will stop enjoying phoning you, each conversation becoming a comedy. Not kidding. 2. I use GPS a lot for navigation and sports tracking. Major fail here: unless you switch the GPS on well before you leave and put it in the open, it can take up to half an hour before it switches on! But don't worry: even if it does in 5 minutes, it can fail you at ANY time underway. I never had any such issues with my previous 5 or so GPS phones, even the cheapest ones. As for sports, even being outdoors fully, it sometimes decides to make a blur out of a straight ride on the bike, as it searches for the best signals. Result: seems as if I rode about twice as much, which makes proper training evaluation impossible. 3. Storage: for some reason, my SD card cannot be copied to. It shows also as if storage

  • Only had the phone an hour and the speaker is completely shot!!! Anyone know how to fix this??

  • This is by design

  • My zte blade s6 can use mobile date on sim 1 but can not use mobile data on sim 2

  • My zte blade s6 can use mobile date on sim 1 but can not use mobile data on sim 2

  • I have the same. But my photos are yellow.Do you know what to do ?

  • I have blade s6 and it is really great .. The size of the mobile fits my pocket .. Its really wonderful !! 😊😊

  • ZTE Blade S6 the best zte smartphone i've ever used.

  • I have BLADE S6 Its a very good phone with perfect camera , very easy to use and very nice sound , strong and clear , good memory with no lags. Perfect for his money

  • Same as you. I can't fix satellites and no solution for the moment. To sad

  • In Argentina the 4g signal does not work

  • My Blade S6 mobile data ain't working. I can only use Wi-Fi for internet. Sim slot one can't do anything but sim slot two only can receive calls and messages but no mobile data. If I wanna use internet I use Wi-Fi. Was it built like that?

  • I used an amaysim nano sim card - it was VERY finicky to insert but I succeeded after about 10 minutes. The instructions state do not use nano sims that are obtained be separating them from larger sims even if they are called nano sims. The amaysim card I used was a dedicated nanosim - it was not from a lager sim. Hope this helps

  • The S6 only has 1 slot for a sim cards, the lower slot is for the memory card. The upper slot takes up to 2 sim cards which are nano sim cards.

  • have just bought a blade s6 and no sim card fits in the phone now had 3 from o2 and 3 from BT. and thats using both sim trays

  • Im having problems listening to music through the headphones when I'm walking the actual piece you plug it into feels very fake, and it disconnects itself. anyone else have this problem ?

  • It is a very good one compering its price. But cn you tell me how can I add photos to my contacts....

  • Is the internal memory has partition?

  • We will see if it gets it because ZTE is releasing now a Blade S7. That will show how much ZTE cares about their phones support.

  • Got Problems with the GPS fix. Only chinese Sattelites without a fix... So maybe a SW Problem? Waiting for an update from ZTE...

  • It needs to have a Marshmallow Update

  • is it upgraded to marshmallow

  • The only drawback of this phone is the in-call volume from both earspeaker and loudspeaker. I think it could be fixed with an update but only if ZTE keeps supporting it.

  • I got an Iphone 6, and I'm thinking of getting myself one of these, as back-up

  • I have had this phone for about a week now and I am loving every bit of it. This phone has a great camera and the battery last for a whole day. I would compare this to the iphone 6 because I believe that this is better in all ways.

  • I have had my phone for about 5 months. I found the sound bad and nobody could hear me, but found there were two microphones, when I disabled one of them it works perfectly well. It does heat up when I turned on GPS (assume this is what causes it so will turn it off and back on when I need it. Overall a great phone but not used the 4G much.

  • I have had this phone for about three weeks and it is fantastic for what i do with it and the price. the camera is great, battery lasts the whole day with minimal usage, very fast processor, all the apps are working. I agree with a few other posts about the speaker being shit but i use a bluetooth speaker for music so not a issue for me. considering an iphone or samsung is around $1000 aus dollars I think this is great for the $270 i Payed. TBH i will probably smash the screen or drop it in some water within a year or so fingers crossed i can be a bit more careful with it.

  • Can someone help me with the gps. My friends phone xiomi had the same prob until recently they had n update. I wonder if there's any new update for this new phone that can solve the prob.

  • Has this device already google play store?

  • Anyone tried to use 64GB ExFAT microSDXC card with this model? Does it support ExFAT?

  • A bit of nice phone but one of the worst customer service. They do not honour their warranty if you don't buy from certain manufacturer (UK case) Awful customer service and really difficult to find someone who can answer sensibly

  • This could have been a very successful phone, but ONLY white and pink color options?! WTF? I've been using a ZTE Blade Vec 4G that has been absolutely great, no problems whatsoever, great display - vivid, clear, responsive, great WiFi reception, good sound and surprisingly good camera. I wanted to replace it with the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500CL (the 5" version), but I found it inferior in every way, except for the build quality, and I returned it and kept the ZTE. When I say the Blade S6, I was sure it would be my next phone, but due to the stupidly limited color options, I'm afraid I'll skip it. ZTE, are you reading this? White is NOT the new black!

  • I think u got faulty one.

  • I've been using this phone for about 2 months now on EE and 3 in the UK Great looking budget 4G phone, and despite a few bloatware issues the ui is pretty close to how Lollipop should be. Quality of materials is not great at all, but I have no problems with the 720 screen, it's bright and crisp. Almost impossible to use as an actual phone, as the screen does not lock when you put it to your ear, which you really have to do because the sound quality is terrible. You'll find yourself inadvertedly checking battery life, switching to speaker phone, adding another caller, dialing voicemail, or just pressing a few keypad keys. Incredibly frustrating. Battery life is awful - a few hours of normal internet use (email, bit of browsing, facebook) will completely drain the battery - using GPS or video will do it even faster. The phone also gets really hot when doing even small tasks - but really heats up using GPS for route finding. The second sim card slot seems to have some restrictions on the bandwidths it can use - I hardly ever pick up a connection to this sim card unless I'm in a rural area in the UK where I assume they're still using a 2g signal. The manufacturer says sim number 2 cannot handle data, but it doesn't seem to connect even for 'phone' use. Headphone jack often needs to be plugged and unplugged a few times before it will register the headphone insertion. Other than that, a fast, stylish and responsive phone!

  • It has 2 slots, one for micro SD card, and another for 2 nano sim cards at once. They are just inserted together.

  • Good display, Good performance, looks great. but not a mobile phone. The quality of voice sound is not up to it. Also on the device i received i could only hear incoming calls on headphone or speakerphone, quality of both was poor. if your hearing or that of the other person is not 100%, i would not reccomend. still waiting for a replacement device- in the meantime I replace broken display on my old Samsung S2 phone...voice sound is excellent on that one. If i ever get a replacement Blade S6 expect i will give to some homeless person........

  • Turkish GSM Operator Turkcell released this one as "Turkcell T60"

  • I am thinking of buying the ZTE Blade S6 for travel in South America travelling to as many countries as I can in 3 months. I have heard that this phone doesn't work in South America. Does anyone have any thoughts about this. Regards Carolyn

  • I would give the ZTE blade S6 a 6 for battery life can be better, design 8, performance 9 internet surfing and the speed of The phone, overall 8.3 Great phone for the 299.00 AUD

  • I had this phone for two weeks absolutely nice, good camera and design .I can say every thing is perfect .but only problem with this phone as i observed is the problem of software update it is too difficult to update soft ware phone and occasionally the soft ware may be gone and causes damages the phone

  • Insert a fast microsd card of 32 or 64gb then go into settings/storage and choose it as defaut storage. You will then get a "32 or 64gb phone" before even Android M

  • Nice device but awfull aftersales service. Bought a Blade S6 that show very bad GPS fix and WIFI troubles. I have sent to the ASS that reply 2 weeks later that everything work fine with it and I should read the notice!! Of course the GPS is still out of order. My opinion, choose another device

  • Not quite mate but close and cheaper don't know what this lot are blithering on about suspect they are messing about with crap roms and things they don't understand the European version is pukka these cheapskates probably skimped on some so grey it's black importer I went with Amazon had no problems.

  • Beware, this does not have 16 GB memory, 7 is a seperate, internal card, you actually have 2 to 3gb rom. False advertising. Got this phone today, really pissed off.

  • This->if you live in us don't buy ZTE s6 at present time it's not fer u

  • No, I can't it either fails to update or it updated ok but bricks yhe phone.

  • Well, of course I can flash B11, as it is ZTE_AS fw and I'm ZTE_AS as well. Can I flash ZTE_EU fw? That's the question.

  • I have version ZTE_AS_Blade_S6V1.0.0B07 (emphasis on AS). I know apart from AS, there are EU (Europe?) and ES (Spain?) variants. What does AS stand for? Asia? Have I got a 'grey' import? I was supposed to get a UK version. Actually the box includes an English manual and a UK plug (not a power convertor, an actual genuine ZTE UK power plug). Anyway... Some feedback from others in the UK would be appreciated. First of all when I use the Upgrade App for OTA updates, it says there is NO update. Mind, I'm running B07. So it seems OTA upgrade functionality seems to be broken. On ZTEDevice site, chosing UK, there is on firmware B08. Chosing Hong Kong you get the latest B11. Can I flash this Hong Kong B11 fw having a ZTE_AS version? Will I keep all international options (interface languages etc) or will it be Chinese/English only?

  • Phone works fine... suggest you try holding it to your ear when listening! Oh,and why post twice, once as anonymous and once under a nickname

  • Yes...can only hear speech on speakerphone or headphones Speakerphone results in even worse sound quality. This device is not really usable as a mobile phone..I don't go around with a mobile plugged into my ear...

  • Powerful media and internet device, looks great but not a mobile phone - the quality of speech is very bad , anyone with less than 100% hearing is unlikely to be able to use it. On top of that can only receive voice on headset or speakerphone as normal function doesn't work at all. I don't go around with a mobile phone plugged in into my ear but the speakerphone causes even worse speech sound quality. If you just want a mobile phone this isn't one.....

  • Stop overcharging batteries. "Simple" phones don't have same protections as high end phones. Now your battery is either miscalibrated or dead at worst.

  • K charge my phone every night and everymotning it just block, it doesnt want to start. It shows that it has low battery even though it was charging a night. What should i do?

  • Every night i put my phone to charge and everymorning it just block i try to start it but it takes like 5 minutes. And this morning it didnt want to start at all it was just all black. It is one month old phone and i dont know whats wrong. It shows that it has low battery eventhough it was charging all night. Does anybody have the same problem? What should i do?

  • Luckily my GPS works fine, however a friend of mine has the same phone and his doesn't, both running b11 update, so think it's a hardware issue, am advising him to return it and try another, there is no data usage on sim 2, there isn't supposed to be, just calls and texts, you put the sim you want to use data on, into sim 1, if you want to have data on both sims you will need a different phone

  • Anyway to repartition the internal storage?

  • what is the price of pin packed ZTE Blade?? Regards, Engr. Ali Yad Khan

  • hello, it is not possible anymore to open the user manual that is installed on the phone. When I click on it, it says "please install the application that supports to open me". Few months ago it still worked but now I can't open it anymore. What kind of application I need to install so I can open the manual again? kind regards

  • You are reminding a good point there : this phone is a great bargain. If people want flawless phone, they have to raise some money on the table first 150$ for such a sleek and well balance phone isn't too common yet almost 4 months later after its release.

  • Works just fine. GPS is within seconds locked to satellites. So if you have GPS problems with your S6, it is probably a hardware issue. Value for money. Apart from camera quality, it is all ok.

  • Bought the phone for my son. Wow. Super fast! He loves it!

  • I had no problems with GPS; but I can't get "leather case mode" to work...

  • GPS is BAD! very very very BAD. Other than that, okay. For GPS user, pls skip this phone. i'd bought it and regret it

  • y we need to root the fon? what benefit?

  • Can anyone tell me if the leather case mode works on this phone please?

  • Dont Buy Please. 1. Frequent restarts. 2. not even 2G in second SIM. 3. Call log having some issues. showing wrongly. 4. Frequently going to Silent mode. 5. Camera stops working frequently. so we have to restart. Note : i am restarting my phone, four times per day.

  • I have also bought the ZTE and I am facing the same issues people describe below for the GPS and speakers. The B11 update doesnt hellp at all. Thus i trully reccomend avoiding buying this phone if you would like to use the nevigation apps. ZTE company ignored the issue once i have asked their prespective on that and reffer me to the store which i purchased the phone.

  • This phone Mi 4 i rival

  • how i make update manually? how i make video call? my mobile company tells me see the hardware ....

  • So please advise, which one should I take: zte blade 6 or asus zenfone 2?

  • By the way, it is possible to gain access to root on this phone now by using kingroot. Just download the latest version from their website and it will root the phone. Enjoy!

  • I can also confirm I have GPS problems with this phone on any firmware. I cannot get a lock at all. It says it can see 24 sat's as soon as you turn the GPS on which is obviously not true. I have tried every fix out there and nothing works. It is a shame as the phone is great apart from this.

  • Data(3G/2G) is working in SIM 1. No data support in SIM 2. Hope future software update will solve this issue. i am using latest B11 software. still unable to use sim 2 for data.

  • I was very interested on ZTE Blade - glad I've come across this site! I won't be buying the phone as it appears to have SATNAV problems.

  • SAR values for this phone?

  • I'm from korea. I bought zte blade s6. Untill now except for gps, I'm satisfied. But!! gps is very weak. I measured it by gps test application. very poor gps..... So I can't use all navigator on zte phone. I wanna know the reason and want zte to know this defection, fix it.

  • Some users are reporting weak GPS signal on XDA. But hard to tell if it's for everyone or several cases like yours.

  • I have tried B11 and it doesn't help with the GPS. I am wondering if it may be some kind of HW problem :-( I have uninstalled all GPS related apps, to see if they are interfering, but no luck.

  • why is the multi user feature of android 5.0 not working on zte blade s6? anyone who successfully used it? I really want to use that feature of having multi user account.

  • I too am having issues with my GPS apps with the signal coming and going. I reported it to the company that sold me the phone and they have pointed me towards the B11 update Which they have asked me to try.. I will do (probably in the next few days) and report back once completed They also said they were going to report it to ZTE Hope this helps WarrenVille

  • It seems like SO many new and interesting phones have this very same problem > must be an industry decision , why I cannot fathom .

  • Does anyone has problems with the phone speaker? It's almost impossible to hear someone when making calls unless I activate the hands free option.

  • I have also very bad experience with the GPS, it takes 5 minutes to get a position, I have used in the car for navigation, and when I was moving, then it was working correctly, but when I stopped at a red light, the position has started to drift, and soon the phone sought it is in a different street :-( I have R10 sw, and just did a phone reset, just to try to see if it helps, but it doesn't. I tried to restart in safe mode, but the symptom is the same.

  • The GPS is not functioning. I have used it a few times in Denmark with google map for driving routes. It falls out of synch all the time. I have now been in Spain for four days. I have tried to use it twenty times but it doens't respond to anything. On the Europe Balcony in Nerja almost 40 miles from Malaga it actually thinks it is in Malaga... Oddly it seems that it follows all the turns when I'm driving - meening it knows which direction I'm driving, but it is not moving the position... Very strange. This is the first Android phone I've used that has this major tracking problem! Bad bad bad... ZTE please fix this issue. Thanks!!

  • You tried updating your phone with the link i provided a few posts before ? Because update app doesn't work from phone, you need to manual update yourself. I don't use much this phone, just went outside to verify, i got a "3D fix" in GPS test app within 20 or 30seconds on 7 satellites

  • I would like to ask if someone has an GPS problems also? I am having terrible experience with ZTE Blade's S6 GPS. However sometimes it locks but I have to wait quite a time, other time it just don't lock. I hope this is software related issue and gets fixed soon! If this is a general hardware failure, I just want to get the RMA for the phone and want an functional one, because I do use a GPS quite often!

  • A new firmware is available, B11. I don't know the changes and i didn't notice anything new, probably "under the hood" changes.

  • It's made for people who want/aren't against the same design but with different OS obviously.

  • wow , this looks like the iPhone 6. Do you not have your own ideas?

  • Why there is no reference of the sar value for this phone? Is it possible to fill this info to the specs of the phone?

  • This fone hav youtube?

  • Just found something defective. Navigation keep saying cant find location. But already turn on the gps. Is it the phone or something else. anyone have an opinion or know how to fix this. I always travel far. N i really need the gps to work.

  • nokia here

  • I am very satisfied with the phone. I had heating problem, but after updating to B10 it looks like issue solved. Firmware updation is pretty simple. (http://www.ztedevice.com/support/smart_phone/10eac5ab-7cc1-4db6-96ae-6ae2536e320e.html )Camera is exceptionally good. Overall performance also good. Only thing annoying is, u cannot delete recent apps by single click!!

  • The lower slot is for the SD Card. The upper slot takes two nanoSims, side by side. Hope this helps ...

  • Can someone please tell me where to insert the day card please.there's two slot only for the sim cards. I can't find the sd card one.

  • I have no other empty sdcard to test again, but in all devices supporting 64gb sdxc, i noticed i could put a higher sdxc card each time. So 128gb should also be working.

  • I am using a 64Gb microSDXC card on my Blade S6. Since I upgraded to the B10 build, I have not encountered any problem. I am now wondering if I could use a 128Gb microSD!

  • Backup your data and contacts, update it and hard reset it.

  • i have the same problem....the phone restarts while on stand by 10 times a day....it usually happens while not being used by me....if anyone knows a solution please help...it is very annoying

  • I noticed yesterday a new firmware was available : 1.0.0.B10 with still Android 5.0.2. After installing it, the UI seems a bit speedier. -There's a new display setting to change the type of screen color between natural/normal (for saturation). -Timelapse recordings now are enabled in 1080p (it was 720p before). Just like my last post, it wipes your phone out. Very satisfied with ZTE support even if you have to do it manually, they seem to be pretty active on it currently, hopefully we will see Android 5.1 for the next one.

  • does this phone has free navigation system?

  • I'm using a 32gb Micro SDHC until now inside it without any problem, so i gave a shot to a Sandisk 64gb micro SDXC : phone starts mounting it then unmount it after a few seconds of reading contents i guess. This card is not empty, so further tests needed with another (empty) card.

  • Many thanks for clarifying about the cores. Additionally I have seen conflicting specs about the sd card, some saying that it will support up to a 64gb card and some saying only 32gb. Can anyone confirm that it will handle a 64gb sd card?

  • @banabdn If you have Skype installed, uninstall it. If not it can be another program that you installed. For me it said something like: "Error with contacts" and restarted but if I had hotspot on it did not restart. But all similar problems went away after uninstalling Skype and upgraded to 5.0.2,

  • do you have any ideas why my phone keeps turning on and off by itself like a 10 times a day? please if you know why this is happening please anwser me

  • It has two slots, one for SD storage expansion and one for the two nano sims (they sit in the same slot side by side)

  • one slot for SD Card and Other slot for dual sims (one tray for 2 sims)

  • Yes, i haven't verified by inserting a sim in that 2nd slot but it's on the sticker behind the phone when you unbox it. Sim 1 : LTE/WCDMA/GSM Sim 2 : GSM

  • Is it true that Sim slot 2 can only handle 2G sim cards though?

  • It is 100% 4 clocked at 1.5ghz, and 4 clocked at 1.0ghz. I have the phone. just look at the back of the box.

  • Yes. 2 trays : 1 with sdcard 1 with 2x nano sims.

  • Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 So it has 2 sets of quad cores = 8 cores it total. But as you can see, the second set isn't as fast as the first.

  • I see differing specs for this phone, some saying that it is quad core and some that it is octo-core. Can anyone clarify?

  • Just got this ZTE Blade S6 in France from Geekbuying.com for 213 shipping included. I was able to re-use my 64Gb microSDXC on it and transfer easily my iPhone4S data through a Sandisk wireless mediadrive. With Lollipop this phone is a killer: very fast, all my data and apps can be put on the microSD, the camera is great, the telecom are efficient like the GPS, etc. I do recommend it !

  • Do you want to say that we can put 2 sim cards and one memory card ALL AT THE SAME TIME? Thanks!

  • Its price at lazada suddenly sky rocket.whyy?

  • There's 2 slots. One memory One sim cards(for 2)

  • Dear all, how many slots are there in this phone: Does it have 3 slots (SIM + SIM + MEMORY CARD) OR 2 slots (SIM + EITHER SIM OR MEMORY CARD)

  • Didn't know there's a discount at lazada

  • Hi guys, there's a new update for the Blade S6 which includes now Android 5.0.2. I haven't seen obvious changes but if you feel like updating your phone, instructions are provided inside the archive here : Don't worry about updating time, it's a bit long like 5 to 10mins stuck at 20%.. Be sure to backup everything because, phone gets wiped. It's still multilanguage. Cheers

  • is this phone support LTE T-Mobile

  • Coming from Nokia 3210, Moto Razr V3x, Nokia E61, Samsung P780, HTC HD2, iPhone 4, Lenovo S890, LeMoto P780, Alcatel Idol X, LeMoto K910, Huawei Honor 3C and previously ZTE Nubia Z7 Max. Got the ZTE Blade S6 unit from Lazada with RM150 discount at RM789. Playing for 15 days already (since 1st March 2015)... Not rooted Lollipop 5.0 under Stock ROM v1.0.0B07. Here's my comments about this unit: A = Android = MiFavor 3.0 UI on top of Lollipop is acceptable. Not many junk apps out of the box. As rooting the 64-bit Snapdragon 615 is not available (as of this review date), it is not for Android Geek moderators. Plain users will enjoy the custom Lollipop interface. B = Body-Built = ZTE manages to make the plastic feel 'acceptable'but definitely not iPhone 6-ish. Buttons are nicely placed and decent feedback. Blue-LED capacitive buttons with interchangeable functions (menu vs back) are a welcome feature. Thickness and weight are comfortable. 3rd party casing and tempered-glass protector is encouraged as the body is very slippery if you have dry palm. There is no Gorilla Glass protection. C = Call quality = At par with my current ZTE Nubia Z7 Max but not to challenge the ultimate Moto RAZR V3x. You can get reception even inside elevator or basement one. D = Data = LTE modules for Nano-SIM 1 are stable. Bluetooth is stable too. E = Email = Email client is flexible compared to other Android-based phones. It works as intended. F = Free-apps = None which is a shame. I was hoping lifetime WhatsApp license just like the Alcatel Idol X. G = Games = As expected, heavy titles are not an issue with Snapdragon 615 + Andreno 405 + 2GB RAM. H = Hangouts = Video call for Skype, Google Hangouts, Tango etc. is superb for 5MP front facing camera. I = Internet = AOSP browser is smooth. No checker-board effect on heavy websites. J = Juice = 2400mAh Li-Ion = "Decent". Claimed talk-time, stand-by time, etc. are achievable for dual-standby-nano-SIM LTE phone. Power consumption during idle state is 3% from 11pm to 5am. Daily usage can threaten my previous LeMoto P780. K = Kamasutra (wink-wink) = Phone vibrates with notification/ringtone. Vibrating sensation is above average. Ladies may use it for other purpose(s)... LOL... L = Loudspeaker = Not the loudest for back-firing speaker. AKM Hi-Fi is not applicable for loudspeaker. Maximum volume will crack the sound. Bass is below average. M = Music = The so-called AKM HiFi technology manipulation is noticeable. Headphone/earphone usage is encouraged. N = Navigation = Working as expected. Lock satellite within 10 seconds. Waze and Google Maps are working normally, even indoors. O = One-hand Operation = I have "big" hands and "long" fingers ;-) No further comment. 5" screen with thin bezel does help but since the edges are rounded with frosted plastic back cover, this finished material does not help in one-handed operation. Too slippery to my taste. P = Picture = 13MP Sony IMX214 module is exceptional packed with standard camera features/modes. Auto mode camera snapshot is reliable. Macro shots are acceptable. Q = Quirks = The capacitive blue-LED buttons are not sensitive. But this can be improved in the next ROM release. R = Rooting = Not available as of 15th March 2015. S = Sound = Earphone sound manipulated by AKM Hi-Fi software mode is noticeable. Back-firing speakerphone is below average even at maximum volume. T = Texting = Stock keyboard is Touchpal. Swipe gestures is supported. I'm OK with TouchPal but you may need other 3rd party keyboard apps to choose for the best typing experience on the silky-smooth 5" screen. U = User-Interface = ZTE made Mi-Favor 3.0 smooth & flexible with various themes to choose. Thanks to the 2GB RAM. V = Video = Capturing 1080P video is acceptable. 4K is not available. Auto-focus is acceptable. Stock video player app can consume many formats. Kudos for that. W = WiFi = The best and at par with ZTE Nubia Z7 Max. Other phones only manage to get 1-2 bars in my basement floor test. But Blade S6 and Nubia Z7 Max capture 5 full bars without fail. Huawei Honor 3C gets 4 bars. iPhone 4 only 3 bars. X = X-factors = For dual-nano-SIM LTE phone (SIM1 4G; SIM2 2G) with 2GB RAM supported by 16GB onboard storage is worth every penny. Strong voice/data/Wi-Fi reception is a desperate move for those who live in the outskirts or camping sites. Gamers will like this unit too. Major factors are 64-bit Snapdragon 615, Adreno 405 and 64-bit Android Lollipop. Y = YouTube = The 5" IPS screen 720P resolution accompanied by excellent LTE connection is an enjoyable experience. Z = Zero-figure. Based price at Malaysia Ringgit RM939-point-zero-zero is a smart investment with current 64-bit chip plus Android Lollipop out-of-the-box. CONCLUSION : Buy it if you are looking for medium-spec phone having dual-nano-SIM LTE support. 64-bit Snapdragon 615 at below RM800 is affordable with the Lollipop 5.0 engine out-of-the-box. The ZTE Blade S6 will be my daily media/gaming experience unit but definitely cannot replace my current ZTE Nubia Z7 Max (RM1,149), which is my trust-able smart gadget for the past 6 months.

  • I really love the design of this phone with the blue circle home button n 2 led back n option at each side. So far theres no lag, but apps sometimes stop working, but it might be cause by the new android lolipop. Needs an upgrade to repair this. The wifi is connected instantly. But the wifi sometimes cannot be turn off. Its turn back on after i have switch it off. Wasn't hoping so much from an Android as crashing of app is something normal for an Android. Battery lasted a bit longer then i had expected. Gps was ok. Didn't wait that long. Its very light n too thin to handle. The display is superb. Anything else u guys want me to check with this phone.

  • If you don't have the language you need, go on play store and search for "more locale" app.

  • where I can press more to install additional languages?

  • You can find all languages. Press more...

  • and where is ZTE blade 6 plus? why is not here on this site?

  • and what about the blade S6 plus? why is still not here already on gsmarena in specifications?..this one of top models from ZTE was also presented on MWC 2015 in Barcelona

  • 1. you could buy from vifocal site, and price $239.99 2. ZTE Blade S6 supports 4G: LTE: 1800/2600/900/700MHz, not 2300MHz 3. it has a 2400mAh battery

  • somebody please tell me... 1)where should i buy from (copy the online path)...? 2)it's work 4g indian band (LTE-2300)....? 3)what about talk time hours...?

  • You can install additional languages if you want. That's not a problem at all.

  • I've got this phone and the GPS performance is terrible. I was waiting half an hour for lock on a clear sky, where next to it my Moto G (first gen) got a lock in 5 sec.

  • You need to understand that G3/Note have nothing to do in here, people looking for Blade S6 are looking for 250$ phone, not 400$ ones. So make sense.

  • i have all 3 phones, no need to trust you. They are all mine, not my father's/gf/uncle...

  • the resolution g3 are better than note and the back camera are good than sisley trust me i have both

  • Or a Meizu if you have known for a while

  • You got a review on first page with battery performance. GPS, i haven't used it but it's a SD cpu, so no worries about locking fast, it's not a mediatek phone with mostly defective gps (i owned several to know that).

  • let me ask again If someone who already got his phone, could say something about battery performance (how often has to charge) and also GPS performance ?? How fast gps get a fix location etc. ??

  • looks like an iPhone

  • G3 isn't same category and its colors are very dull for screen. Check G3 opinions, you will see that excepted resolution its screen is not something you will remember. I have a lenovo sisley too, the only things were the sisley is good at, is its aluminium case and the amoled screen. Its case is better because it's really too cheap on the ZTE, normally i would prefer plastic to aluminium because less subject to temperature variations. And screen it's almost a tie : on Sisley, colors are not well calibrated as they are on Galaxy S, so you get sometimes oversaturated colors. On the ZTE, it's "only" a lcd, but screen is just awesome to look at, hard to believe it's only a lcd. I had a girl friend over here a few minutes ago, who just tested it and totally agreed about this gorgeous screen. Note that i'm a super amoled lover but i have no problem admitting the greatness of the ZTE's. No wonder why Apple just signed with JDI (Blade S6 screen manufacturer) for their next plant.. If i'm not mistaken. And off course, SD410 on Sisley, SD615 on Blade S6, you are getting 50% more performance for gaming. I have yet to see better pictures taken from the Sisley, but Front flash is a killer on the Sisley still.

  • only major languages installed :( shame for you zte

  • i think lenovo sisley are better and g3 most better because i have it my dad have blade s6 and it ok but the brightness not good at all and the video ust so so

  • No problem bro, it's really the best midrange phone i've bought in the last few years.

  • Thanks for this. I'm thinking to buy one and I guess it'll be worth it because of your review bro.

  • I'll wait for the other S6

  • If someone who already got his phone, could say something about battery performance (how often has to charge) and also GPS performance ?? How fast gps get a fix location etc. ?? Thanks in advance!

  • Oh no, sorry. Just found my oldest phone laying around : a sony ericsson K810i. I still use it as an alarm clock, i have the phone since 2006. No battery problem, whereas i can't even count on my hands people with recent phones iphone4-5s, S3+ etc.. killing their battery with small charges/charging overnight everyday.

  • I wouldn't bet on this with all those batteries dieing nowadays. I've never killed a battery on any of my phones being old or recent. Oldest phone i have currently is a Galaxy S1 but my gf killed the battery with your way a few months ago (we can also say it's due to its age now since 2010) whereas i've never had any problem with it until i gave her.

  • Are touting rubbish regarding the looking after your battery. It was all trye but relevant to older battery chemistry like ni-cad. Li ion and li po batteries have no memory, you battery will live longer with smaller more frequent charging session as the longer the charge, the more heat is generated and it's the heat that's a killer. also, leaving your battery on charge over night will not harm it as there is a charge control circuit which switches the current off when full and then back on when it's dropped a bit.

  • For those interested in reading a quick review, here's mine since all others who received their phone, just said, "thanks it's good/great" like kids : I won't go too much in details since i didn't test it too much so far. Screen is really beautiful with curved edges. Colors are really good, brightness too, autobrightness works quite smoothly. 720p resolution is really gorgeous on it, you could mistake it for a 1080p screen easily. Viewing angles are good, you don't loose much when not facing it. I don't know what kind of glass covers the screen, but if it was gorilla or something, it would have been written somewhere. So, i will add a tempered glass on it, but naked it's a looker and touching it is very silky smooth. Back material is plastic, i mean real plastic, not exagerated term that people use here for Galaxy S series which are in polycarbonate (great quality plastic), here it's really basic and looking a bit weak / scratchable. But since it's a shiny silver color, it still looks good and looks like metal from not too close. Since i have a Galaxy S5, i can say its size is comparable, Blade S6 is just a little bit thinner. Just like i said earlier, it's a unibody device, so battery is not removable (rated 2400mA on the box). There you know (again). Speaker is located on the back, it's quite loud but can be too easily muffled with a finger on it. OS : it's 5.0 on board, not 5.0.1 like specs say, build on my unit is from 2nd february, checked for new updates, nothing for now. The UI is customized. It's pretty enough, quite smooth but there's a catch (or a good thing, depends of you) : there's no apps menu. Therefore, all installed apps go to homescreens just like iphones. I noticed very very small lags when scrolling to a crowded homescreen quickly from times to times, but nothing important. Homescreens are customisable easily and quickly with an option "transit" to move several icons at once. Menus are simple, yet there are quite a few additions over android stock. ZTE added a few ideas of their own, LG and samsung and that's a great thing : enhanced blocking mode with schedules, smartlocking, smart gestures etc.. A great thing again i like is that you can add a microsd card.. and you get the (very rare) option to set it as default for programs. So it means, just snap a fast 64gb card on it, and you get a 64gb phone. Cool for gamers. I haven't tested it yet, but since i recognize that option from a few devices i had bought, i know how useful it is. To finish, i tested camera a bit, opening is quite fast from both lockscreen or homescreen. I would say "smoothness" (when you move your phone around and watch the screen) is comparable to a G3 (meaning it's not fast like it is on a S4/S5), but still ok. Photos are taken instantly, no delay. There are 2 modes : simple and expert. Expert is having more icons to control light metering/ISO, exposure and white balance. Photos seem to look really good for that price so i think the sensor is good quality (they are better than on my Lenovo S90 Sisley). You can take all resolutions for photos from 0.3MP up to 13MP. Video part, same, all resolutions from 144P to 1080P. Slow motion mode present for 720p recording. And customisable timelapse (1 to 10sec delays) works in 1080p. I think i covered a bit every part of the phone, for me it's a great value. If you want a good phone right now, you can grab it, totally worths it while there's no SD618/620 phone out. If you are more like buying a phone every 3 years, you'd better be at least giving it all kind of protections : case / tempered glass and extra care for battery charges. PS: charger provided is only 1.0A, so if you want "quick charging", i think you ll need to look for a 1.5-2A instead. No earbuds in the box btw. Just the minimum : quick start guide, charger, micro usb cable and nano sim tray pin but well presented.

  • Your review was wrong. Just made the test since it supports all my FDD LTE bands, i get 4G outside on a "picky" carrier, here in FR.

  • Yes battery is not removable. Unibody phones are generally slimmer.

  • I wanna know if the phone works at 4G speed in UK, even if it say in the spec that it does but still heard in review that the 4G only works in Asian countries. can any one please tell me if the 4G works UK or not.

  • is it really true that it is not possible to replace the battery once it does not function properly anymore? If this is correct. Could someone please explain what the point is of a sealed battery? I really like the phone, but if I can't replace the battery this would be a big minus for me. Thanks for your time.

  • Those who already received their unit, could you elaborate instead of just saying "it's good thanks" ? I mean you browse GSMArena for real tests, not for simple minded comments, right?

  • i bought the phone at the big deal on aliexpress and in nine days is in my hand. for now works great whit italian lte TIM connections. i hope the battery is good to...i'll see...

  • this phone it great hle im using it and loving it. its affordable and wonderful

  • hey im using the phone and im loving it.u should try it.

  • i believe its due to Chinese new year, i,m waiting to

  • True, i ordered it because it looked good and quite smooth too in different youtube handson reviews. Mine just got shipped, hopefully it will be there on saturday. Else it will be for monday/tuesday.

  • I have ordered on first day of sale. Still they are not started to ship. Overall spec and build looks good..

  • Hi guys ! Has anyone actually used this phone yet ? I'm not sure on whether to get one or not.

  • thank u boss

  • Well like any phone with sealed battery, if it happens, you need to turn to customer support / aftersales as long as you are under warranty. After, you will need to look for some repair center. If you take care of your battery you shouldn't get any trouble for at least 2/3 years. -Full discharge until it turns off by itself then Full charge without using it at all from times to times -Prevent overcharging (like plugged whole night long charging), just charge it then disconnect it from charger once 100% -Don't keep using the phone for hours while charging it (being games or movies or etc..) I never do that with my phones and i never get problems with batteries on the contrary of people i know who kill their batteries.

  • Look at your phone menus. There's since Jelly bean an option called something like screen mirroring. Basically, you have to have your phone on same network than your tv (it may be in ethernet and your phone on wifi, as long as it's same router/network). Then you press that option and the tv displays your phone's screen in real time. Else, just plug the phone on an USB port of the tv and see if it detects the mass storage to read your media.

  • So far, i think aliexpress didn't send any ZTE Blade S6 to buyers.. Because it's my case, i'm still waiting for shipment after 1 week.

  • can you give some explanation of comment?

  • if there is any users of this phone, please share the plus and minuses, so that others can decide their own star

  • hai, my concern is for the makers. In some way if the battery is drained, how to change it?, just throw the phone or what? samad

  • Attention! There are different versions of this phone, not all of them are able to register in LTE 800 networks.

  • Is this phone capable of doing LTE speeds on T-mobile and AT&T?

  • Nice quick hands-on GSMA. Looking forward your review, ordered mine this morning too.

  • I am waiting for lava irix x8 Specifications in gsmarena plz add lava x8

  • Screen mirroring if your friend has a smart TV. Or on its usb ports if the tv detects the storage.

  • but for the non removable battery i would have gone for this phone.....

  • Will the ZTE blade S6 will work in US from the frequencies perspective?

  • is it lte?

  • Yes. It's LTE means its 4G. :)

  • Is it 4G ?

  • Is it 4G ?

  • Whoever told ZTE that europeans want an iPhone-clone complete with NanoSIM and sealed battery were wrong...

  • It costs rougly about 200 Euro.. that is about 250 dollars i think...

  • How i wach movie to friend on tv if its does not have mhl.

  • may i know how much it costs roughly?

  • 1 - The first Iphone was plastic with aluminium edge. 2 - This is the first Miezu is looked nothing like the first iphone 3 - The round home button on the Miezu was original. It looked nothing like the round and square lines on the iphone button Lets get this straight,mr ifanboy If anyone's copying here, its Apple. Meizu released the Meizu MX4 before the IPhone 6 and 6+ and it had the same design as the Meizu MX4 Pro. So honestly Apple's been copying here. And its not only that. Meizu's designs have been shaped like this from the start with stainless steel being used in them (way before apple did). And you now what? The Aluminum 6061-T6 alloy in the Meizu device is way more stronger than the 6005 alloy used in the new Iphones. Heck even the stainless steel used in previous Meizu devices and on the home button of their MX4 series is stronger than the stainless steel grades used by Apple in their devices. The best part? Apple devices bend, Meizu devices don't.

  • Copy and sell. So you can save budget for reasearch, hehehe. Thats why, it will cheap with good spec.

  • pitty the colors just pink and silver, missing the black one

  • What is your problem? What "Dear Lord"?

  • if the color may be other than white

  • Thanks for correcting the specs, gsmarena.

  • Some mistakes in the specifications. You can read the specification of this phone here:

  • Apple in iphone 6 copies from other companies after it was innovative
