Motorola Moto E4 (USA) - User Reviews

  • I tried using it on this phone (it came built in) but it said it wasn't eligible.

  • This may only be on older phones, but Metro phones have a built in unlocking app

  • I got one for $20 recently from a friend, it's honestly worth being a backup phone. Shame it's locked on metro and I have T-Mobile

  • my touch work just six months, one day Motorola send me an actualization package and from this day to today I can make my touch work properly, It's very frustraiting.

  • LTE Cant be use on Europe and most asia, Do not attemp flashing europe/asia ROM, wont work, i tried on my moto X to gain europe LTE, almost damage the phone. In moto x SoC on US some as europe, on E4 is totally different

  • Had to flash phone with a diff rom to use 4g . Great phone for the price

  • Depending on the netwrk you are using here in Ghana. Most of these fones has to be unlocked to be able to use other sims.. so kindly Check If its locked to a specific netwrk frm the country u came frm

  • I am using Motorola e4, everything is good but i am facing network problem, i converted my 3g sim to 4g but this mobile is not showing any signal and says, waiting for service, what should i do now?? How can i set APN for using 4g??

  • If your (SIM) is LTE /4G/ HSPA then your phone will shown, if your SIM not any this network then wiill not show, only will show 3G. Some phone can manually adjust the network. check your setting, if your APN have no show, then you need ebter your APN setting back in the phone then works.

  • I brought my Moto E4 (USA) about a month now, Working fine, I like it, 2ghz of ram gave a better performance on browser speed and motion. i am happy with this feature, thats all I needs.

  • I paid 99.99 at B&H. Waiting for it to get delivered. Hope it's worth it.

  • Change your network mode 4g to 3g

  • Please my phone newly bought is having a network relating problem. The phone is unable to support the network here in Ghana.... What can I do to ameliorate this problem.

  • My phone was free. It developed a screen burn and is spreading all over...!!!!

  • how to change verizone carrier i put in jazz sim butt no suport and verizone activation

  • I totally agree, I've been using one of these the last month and its battery life is incredible. The screen really isn't bad either, only the resolution is low but 99% of the time you don't notice it since its 720p anyway.

  • How is its front camera result?

  • One of the best sub 200$ phones I have seen in a long time. Battery: A+ Design/Quality: B+ Features: A LCD: C If not for the LCD this would be my main phone and I currently own a Pixel 2 but I love removable battery and low heat generation during long phone gaming sessions.

  • Excellent phone for the $130 I paid on B & H here in the USA. Works great on T-Mobile.

  • No 4g support in Pakistan because only 4g band 3(1800) works in Pakistan.

  • Why is it causing eyestrain? Brightness? Glare? Text too small?

  • This phone is causing some serious eyestrain/ headache issues and isnt recommended to ppl with sensitvie eyes. My eyes are ok and ma vision is 6/6 but this phone xt1767 from verizon is causing eyestrain issues. Plz avoid. I m from pakistan.

  • U cant use 4g as it doesnt support lte bands .only telenor can b switched to 4g lte otherwise selecting 4g wont work as ot only support 3g bands from pakistan

  • You don't need to change anything. 4G LTE is provided by network. If your carrier is providing 4G LTE, your phone starts using that automatically.

  • Hey I am using this phone in Pakistan and I got 3g and h+ networking. I want to know how we can change the networking to 4g LTE??? from where we got this option in this phone? and how we check frequency of network???

  • Rooted and debloated, I got this for the primary function as a pocket wifi tablet. Modded away the 'no sim' and 'high volume' warning nags, there is very little left of anything resembling a phone. It's an awesome little pocket tablet. No service, just $59 bucks on sale and rooted/modded right away. Thanks BoostMobile! lol.

  • My personal opinion is this is very good phone budget phone superb battery timing tasking is good sound quality is ok front camera better then rear camera every thing i perfect only one disvantage speaker is only one and rear camera quality not good but in this price is okkkkk ..

  • Hey guys, I have my moto e4 us since August and its working fine. I am writing because I would like to let you know today my phone received two updates: September 1, 2017 and November 1, 2017 security patch level. Until today the security patch level was only May 1, 2017. I have an unlocked version, and because of I moved back to my country (Hungary), I use this nice device in Europe. I also tested the mobile network antenna. In German cities even 4G is working fine with T-Mobile, because the phone is compatible with B7 4G network. Unfortunately B7 is not a widely used frequency in EU (B3 and B20 is more frequent), so at most of the places you can achieve only 3G or HSPA/HSDPA+ networks. The speed is about 5-10 Mbit/sec for 3G/HSPA/HSDPA+ and 40-50 Mbit/sec for B7 4G networks, respectively.

  • I think you may be thinking of the Moto E4 Plus. The E4 is 5", the E4 Plus is 5.5"

  • Is the LCD 5.0"? i know its 5.5" IPS Capacitive touchscreen.

  • This will support some Indian cellular hands. It won't support Jio4g as jio is being operated at band 40 of 4G and this device doesn't support band 40. GSM(2G) will work. Even 3G (HSDPA/HSUPA) will work with most of the Telecom providers.

  • Agree nuts esp when they flogging it off with crappy CPU in other countries...for $220......its insane price 2 gig ram fingerprint I got myself one to cheeeeeeeeeeeeep! if i lose it no big deal.

  • Or if you want a good main phone (I've had smartphones for 10 years and never needed a backup) you can't beat the Moto E4. $40 bucks at Walmart for the Verizon version and around $2 for an unlock code on ebay and you're good to go on ANY GSM network.

  • Fine phone, a bargain with upgrade or number transfer or new customer ($49). Specs should note that the WLAN, WiFi is dual band 2.4 & 5.0

  • NOPE! If you want a cheap but good backup phone without spending a lot of cash, the Moto E4 is it. The moto e4 plus has some problems anyways.Go to the motorola site to find out more about its issues.

  • This phone support for Indian bands????

  • Because the USA still has CDMA networks (Verizon, Sprint) that is only supported by Snapdragon chipsets.

  • Why is usa getn snapdragon n the rest of the world mediatek Injustice !!

  • I have had Moto E2 for a couple of years now and if the new E4 performance is comparative to the E2, with updated improvements of course, it should be an excellent phone. My Moto E2 is a great phone, reliable and well built.

  • This phone has comparable price with Wiko Harry, this phone advantage over Harry is that this phone using new Snapdragon chipset at 1.4GHz, fingerprint (on some region), Gorilla Glass protection and larger 300mAh batter however Harry has also advantage over E4 and that is being large RAM with 3GB and higher resolution camera at 13MP and metal design

  • Instead of this, we should buy the e4 plus or any xiamoi product at this range

  • With price of 140 eur or less shoulld be good otherwise i wont reccomend it.

  • If priced competitively, the phone is not half bad..
