alcatel Go Play - User Reviews

  • This phone is suited to Android Go

  • no speaker phone , never worked, saying no sim card, bad phone, dont buy, ask for help what a joke//////// , i paid for a samsung x7 no problems now/. take care

  • very bad phone lg stylus 2 is better than this especially camera ,size is much more good do not buy this one mine has already broken and now im using lg stylus 2

  • Have had this phone for a year now. I watch the odd tv show on it, browse, and use maps while outdoors. I've found it a good match for what I want in a phone, screen is bright enough to use outdoors and I've dropped it several times and its still in one piece. Battery life is excellent , I don't play a lot of games tho

  • Mine started to die after just under a week. It turned itself off, refused to turn on, even when charged for 30 minutes, eventually turned on with 89% battery (having refused to turn on a few minutes before). Same thing happened after a few more hours and this time it took a few hours charging before it would start with 98% battery life (again having refused to turn on a few minutes before). The following day it opened and jammed the camera app but no buttons or touch-screen functions would work. Luckily I got my money back. I was looking for a durable reliable phone that wasn't too bulky. Fail.

  • Tested almost 2 month. First impression : 1.Durable phone 2.Performance tolerable 3.Price excellent 4.Dragontrail protection glass from Asahi 5.Battery excellent

  • Hello, I have just acquired the Go Play and can conclude it is an excellent budget phone offering many interesting features for users in daily life.

  • Can you explain what you mean by NO MICROPHONE? Is there any phone on the planet who has NO MICROPHONE?

  • please, can you make phone calls on your goplay. i have not microphone on my phone

  • i have this now ,Blue color - Good one No heat No freez ,, Good Camera and very good battery .

  • i have a go play like it but no microphone to make calls

  • For its price, I think its the best phone in the market. I have been using it for 2 months and its the best. Also tested its water resistance capabilities. Battery life is amazing and also its pixel density is flauless. I wish to see more phones like these with reasonable prices like it

  • It's a nice, durable phone, especially for long-distance runners like me. This very affordable water-resistant GPS phone suits my budget and lifestyle. I like its feel on my hands too, better than Samsung phones that I've used before.

  • I have a samsung Galaxy j1 ace...should i sell it and get the go play or save abit and get a Samsung galaxy s5 or BlackBerry passport...plz help!!!

  • No good for pokemon go. Technically the game installs and plays. But all other apps get closed every couple minutes, probably due to RAM shortage. Battery saver, GPS booster, browser... and the game itself is closed as soon as you switch to another app, making you wait through the logging/loading screen every time you return. Sometimes it's not even possible to run the on-screen keyboard with the game (thus making it somewhat hard to rename/manage the pokemons). I didn't have such problems with other 1GB RAM phones, so I'm guessing the UI/system is more bloated here, or the memory manager is too aggressive in killing apps. Either way, no good.

  • No gyro.

  • Did you ever took a look on price difference between both phones? If we put prices of both phones next to each other, than there is a chance that no one will by Xperia! It's quite expensive and does not have much more than Alcatel. And BTW why you calling Alcatel no-name, sony produced walkman when alcatel provide equipment for GSM on industry level.

  • This is a nano-SIM device, not a micro-SIM. Or are there more than one model?

  • "Internal memory" isn't "Insternal memory available to the user", are different things, read please! Thanks

  • Just get a Sony Xperia, does all the same but has a 25mp camera, 32gb storage, 3gb Ram and a 4k screen. Plus isn't a no name bra.

  • This cell has Gyro?

  • this cell (OT-7048A) doesn't have 8GB of internal memory, it just has 4.4GB

  • this cell (OT-7048) uses a nano sim card.

  • Sorry, Mr. year 2056

  • my God, 1GB of RAM? what is this, 2011?

  • IPS?

  • I'm waiting for it. I really hope, that this first IP67 Alcatel will be tested by gsmarena.
