this fone is superb i used this from 3 month.. before this i hv nokia e63 bt i compare 2 e63 with dis. dis mob in his price aswem.. i bought this mob only 2000 rs. i put lots of application it its run superb no hanging problem, i play youtube video. i connect this mob as modem.. its net speed is great.. but i hv one single disopointin is dis it has no 3.5mm jack.. nice camera...nice sound.. over all i will give 10/9.5 to this mobile. its is simply superb....

I had been using this phone for 3 years now. A very nice phone and easy to use. I just wish it had 3.5mm headphone jack and wi-fi but overall this phone didn't give me any problems at all.

well.. honestly... to be fair... this is a superb phone on its price range... nice qwerty keypad( but i dont know how to create a "Ñ" in the text)... responsive trackpad...nice screen resolution...hmmm about the interface... its kinda ok (i hope i can change the widgets @ the standy screen... speaker? well it LOUD and clear... battery life? im a heavy texter.. for me.. it lasted for more than 3 days...it was a JAVA application.. which is good..it was radio and also it was an EBOOK reader... it is so convenient to read ebooks...the camera.. well it is good when there is good light in the picture... video? it not so good.. even it is in Mpeg4 format.. it is still saving @ 3gp format...i think it would be nice if there is a volume rocker and a 3.5mm jack and phone accessory( too difficult to search for the phone accessory in alcatel..why is that?t.t)...i will rate this phone 9.0 for its performance 8.5 for its interface.. and design is 8.0 for the lack of volume rocker and a 3.5mm jack...

Its been a year since I bought this phone and never had the chance to use it properly but having to use it again I discover that this phone has a lot of potential from its functionality. Alcatel is doing a great job for improving their phones and I am very pleased of their new and upcoming phones. Alcatel is my first choice of cellphone brands and samsung being the second choice. I love this phone even without wi-fi its the best.

Nice BASIC qwerty phone. worth the price. I like its color and style (white & violet). Typing sms is comfortable for me. Except for the sound quality of its headset, not that good though, but the back speaker for music is ok. Battery life lasts.. Dont expect to much, it is only a basic qwerty cellphone. Good back-up for my iphone 4. I want its OS to be as ot-802 wave, i dont need those yahoo services, how can i change it? Anyone from alcatel help pls?

Just got the phone today and was fidgeting with it.Here's what i have to say. The phones great for the price here(Phil) bought it for 3999(regular price is 5999; holiday sale i guess). Things that i liked about the phone first is that the optical trackpad which is very responsive considering that the setting is set to normal. The unit is easy to user friendly and simple, sound quality is clear and speakers are loud. Picture quality is good considering it only has 2mp for a camera. The downside of the unit is that i wish it had wi-fi instead of just using GPRS or EDGE. another thing is the menu icon are so close together that if you swipe fast on the touchpad just moves to fast. Typing is just ok since it's a qwerty phone except that just like your normal phone some letters or buttons have 2 characters but i can get used to it no biggie. Otherwise i find this phone a great buy for the price.

The phone is really good one as its value for money buy. has got dedicated button for all the yahoo services, hence its knw as one touch phone. Life time yahoo mail n messenger is free. 80MB internal memory..compared to all other branded h/s like corby text,this has got 80mb internal memory.

alcatel pull out of philippine simply because of poor sales. the distributor now is the one selling cherry phone which is easier to sell coz it's a china phone meaning its cheap. and they are more succesfull with this brand compared to alcatel.

Well, I read an article about this phone being launched in India with a few minor changes for the rest of the world the phone will come with an 80MB memory and 800 contacts but, the version which will sell in India would be coming with a 100MB memory and 1000 contacts. What I really looking forward to is they so many Chinese companies offering rip-off for Nokia, Dell, Samsung, Motorola etc.., but its either their battery life or the cheap look. I've always enjoyed using my friends Alcatel phone for a while looking forward to this one when it hit the store across India.

anyone interested in dual sim phone should get samsung b5702 instead. both sims are quad band but lacks 3G (THAT SUCKS!!!!). at least samsung has decent specs. and both sims are active at once and switching between them to make calls is but 1 button press away, with no re-starting of phone.
