i just bought it last 2017 the camera is good the performance is good because sometimes it lags and why is the volume getting minimized sometimes?

The non-removable battery is not a problem anymore; iPhones as the same issue and some guys pay a fortune for them...

I bought this phone last Sept 2016.since then I never encounter any problem. The camera both the front and rear is good, as well as the video. Internal memory and ram should be upgraded. Sound quality is good but not that loud. I'm very satisfied with the performance of this phone. Until now I still use this phone.

ummm.. on my opinion this phone quite awesome . actually I've bought this one a year ago and I used it for playing online gaming it's good .. but, the thing is I cant upgrade the Version of it. THANK YOU for the service

I have a lot of things to say about this phone. Let's start with arguably the most important part of a smartphone, the display: The display will never be considered by anyone as "crisp". 540x960 is a lackluster resolution, especially for a 6 inch screen. You can only play youtube videos in 480p at most. Alcatel should really have considered at least a 1280x720 resolution for a phone this big. Sound is also not in good condition. I'm not sure if only my phone has this problem or if all the models of this phone has it. Apparently the phone has 2 hidden sound modes, loud and soft. It switches between them at random moments. Theres nothing you can really do about it and can be really annoying if there are people nearby and you don't want them to know you have shit taste in music and watch chinese cartoons. This occurs with both speakers and earphones, just so you know. Build is also subpar at best. The weight is alright, not heavy at all. That also means that it feels cheap (not really a major concern to be honest). The texture of the touchscreen is bizarre. It's relatively rough for a phone. It feels like paper made for watercoloring when i put my finger on it. I needed to put a screen protector just to make it feel like glass (thankfully it comes with one... or at least mine did). I had a mindset for phones that bigger is better (to a point). And it seems like 6 inches is a little bit past my point. I have humongous hands, as in I have never met anyone who has bigger hands than mine. My hand fell a bit short in reaching the left side of the phone as it is wider than most phones. And if most of your pockets are small, this phone will bulge and stand out as if you have a rather large chocolate bar in your pants. But at least the display is big, if only it was better though. And now i have to talk about the ugh, camera. The autofocus in this thing is horrendous, it goes out of way to actually defocus the image. No one would ever believe that the photo you take with this phone is actually 1080p. I couldn't take a photo of my textbook 10 inches away from it for my classmate as the text blurred out and rendered unreadable. A 2 megapixel camera could produce way better photos in my opinion. The flash function is just plain broken. As the phone produces the flash, the photo was taken a few milliseconds late and the light from the flash would have already been gone. There are actually no difference in the image if flash was turned on or off. The software is the only thing that's alright with this phone. Didn't expect much and what I got is alright, it did most of the tasks i did alright. But don't expect to play intensive games on this. There are some 3D games that run pretty good on this phone, but games like Injustice is just way out of its reach. The User Interface icons of this phone is ugly. They look like blurry candy. But at least you can download some themes from the playstore. The UI on the music player isn't to my fancy either so i downloaded a separate music player. The connectivity of this phone is good though. I live in SE Asia, so it can vary if you live somewhere else. I've had this phone for 7 months now. And it has survived a dozen drops and impacts. But unfortunately I think it has reached its limit. The bottom keys do not respond anymore and the phone is registering touches even when no one is touching it. the e, b, r letters on my keyboard doesn't work anymore (installing a different keyboard might fix it though). Conclusion/TL;DR: Alcatel has made some great phones. But this is not even near that with all these cons and (hopefully just) broken hardware and no features, function, or specs that can make you choose this over alternatives at this price point or even cheaper. I suggest you take your money elsewhere and heavily consider a phone smaller (or slimmer) than this one as a phone this size can prove difficult and discomfortable. Sorry if i made a "review" for an opinion section for a budget phone, but I really needed to express these thoughts and hopefully some people will find this helpful in making their decision.

Frustrated

I got this unit this October thinking its better than my previous Idol unit but somehow I am left disappointed. The audio is so weak I can hardly hear its ringtone and message alert even when I'm holding it!
