try to playback your mp3 with google play music. is nice with head phone. if you want to play with speaker, turn off the equalizer and the sound will go wider, louder. if theres still not loud enough. live it in to the empty can, bowl or boxes to gain reflection (prefer hard material). it will go a lot louder.

I can describe it as averagely loud but not sharp. Bass/Drum sound (unless Heavy Metal or Techno songs) not heard much if you're 1.5 - 2 meters away. If you're used to phone with better speaker you might be disappointed. Hope this comment helps.

Here is my updated review after using it almost 1.5 years. Pro: 1. Rarely hang. The only problem was using Firefox prior Quantum (ver. 56 and below) always forced close. (Fyi: I never install games on my phone) 2. For low end smartphone, the UI is super responsive 3. It's can be handle with one hand pretty easily due to curvy at back. 4. WiFi Tethering is good but with HSDPA speed don't expect much for streaming 1080p. 5. Battery can still hold more the 1 day from full charged with Whatsapp, Blackberry (job requirement), Twitter, browsing using Chrome and/or Firefox and Spotify-ing regularly. Con. 1. Camera is horrible both front and back. Mine is 5 MP version. For 2010's era mobile phone it should be better. 2. Touchscreen responsiveness. Unlike other phone, this phone need clean screen and non-sweaty hands but you will used to it eventually. Here's a tip: Wipe your fingertip before using this phone, doesn't need super clean just to make it dry. 3. Power button on top and volume button at back, was a big deal when first month using it. 4. LED only for charging function. No lights for apps notification. 5. Heavy and thick, bulky inside pocket. Still a big deal sometimes. 6. Stock keyboard little bit small as I stated on my previous review. Switch to GBoard as it can adjust height. Conclusion First of all this is a very cheap, even for low end smartphone. But, for the price, performance (except camera), and build quality it is best for your buck. I've planned to use it as my 2nd phone for another 2-3 years.

Using this phone for around 3 months. As a budget phone it is good enough to give power to your daily tasks. Cons: 1. Led only works for charging. 2. No earphones inside box. 3. Front camera & back camera has a lot of noise. (Though noise reduces when using the volume button as shutter) 4. Video recording is poor. If you select high res, you'll get lower fps & If you want high fps, you have to select low res. 5. When the phone starts playing multiple video at the same time or loads multiple gif at a time it becomes hot and restarts. (Suppose after visiting a few xvideos page where the thumbnail keeps changing) 6. The display is not full black. Gives me the feel of a mirror. Pros: 1. No frequent hang issue. 2. Very good ram management. I use fb, youtube, whatsapp, chrome, brain focus all the time. 3. The UI is very good and not laggy at all. 4. The phone feels very slim to hand instead of the specs saying its around 11mm. 5. Nothing more to say, Just an awesome budget phone.

Not sure if any of you realize this, but with the specs offered by this phone using it for gaming/multitasking would surely cause it to overheat. But if you limit your usage to let's say 2 apps at a time, it shouldn't be a problem.

already used it for one week, this is my opinion for asus zenfone go zb452kg ( previously i used asus zenfone 4 for 2 years) : 1. user interface, i guess no big major improvement compared with the old version, but double tap to wake is nice. don't know if zen 4 can get same feature, since i did not upgrade it. 2. design: weird power/lock button, nice volume button. no light for home, recent and back? why asus don't make it? it will be much helpful i guess. 3. screen: not that good, yes it's wider and brighter but not really comfortable compared to old zen 4, even splendid apps gone on the zb452kg. 4. battery: nice, now i can charge it for 2 hours and it will last for minimum 14 hours with low to moderate use, my old zen 4 now stand for 6-7 hours only. 5. camera: it's just larger resolution, but still not good, blury, unnatural color, same as the old zen 4 6. audio: louder speaker, but when i listen music or radio using earphone, its below the old zen 4, even preinstalled music player don't have equalizer. the fm tuner even less sensitive. scanned 4 active station while zen 4 can found at least 10 station using same earphone??? !%@%@ 7. heating: nice, with low to moderate usage i don't feel any heat, or burning copper smell like when old zen 4 had on its early days. overall, i just can say that i am not really happy with this phone, but with very limited budget(1million IDR) maybe this is a good choice. best regards_hans84 i am from yogyakarta, indonesia.

Using this phone as a fresh started. Quite good actually but i dislike the screen quality of this phone. Not an IPS display just TFT screen. The colour look washed out and struggle as much on direct sunlight. So far battery backup is good. I can play Pokemon Go without lag on this phone. So far performance is good but on this price range not really bad actually. Camera quality is not giving a sharped result and not the best camera for me. Even Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 can give the best result with the camera quality. But talking about the price is thats what you get. :)

I owned this phone for a month now. It is a good phone for its price because it runs smoothly and the battery drains up to whole day while I'm connected to a wifi. Some of its pre-installed applications from asus can't be update because it says "This app is incompatible with your device." The apps that can't be update are messaging, camera, Gallery, Calendar, ZenUI Dialer and Contacts, and Asus Weather etc. The camera is good for outdoor while it has many noise when capturing an image in low light/indoor. The internet browsing is fast using the browser/opera mini. Sometimes the albums on my gallery is missing and the music will force close. I'll clear the data of the gallery and music then reboot the phone. After using the device for a long time it will heats up at the back in the rear camera part. I notice that the notification led only work when the device is charging and not for receiving notifications. As of now I don't have major problems encountered while using this phone. I can say that What You Pay is What You Get.. :)

So, lemme answer: 1) Yea, colors go messy when looking from over top edge, otherwise its clear from all sides. 2) Simply let it charge 15-20 minutes when LED is green. Probably all phones have the "issue" with first 5% of battery, when it gets drained very fast, its due overcharging protection which shows you the battery is full while in reality it's around 95%, so you wont overcharge it. 3) AFAIK its problem with Android 5.1 itself, it was reported on other phones also.

I'm using this phone right now after being forced to sell my previous ZF2 Laser due to urgency Simply put, this phone is the best for its price, sure it's not meant to be compared with its bigger brothers but it's not something you'll find from other big brands Althought some things do bug me: 1.) Just last night after I purchased it I noticed the screen is not IPS as the viewing angle is not perfect in landscape (I'm pointing at the right side of the screen when holding the phone landscape which shows its weakness), I hope it's not just me or else it might be a factory fault 2.) I also noticed that when charging the battery it's not as fast as the ZF2 Laser, it took some time to charge from 99% to 100% while it lasted in mere seconds to drain to 99% or even 98%, but below that it lasts as long as advertised 3.) For some reason the GPS/location symbol is always shown even if I've turned it off, I hope it's not a problem I seriously hope anyone responds regarding those three bugging things because I really want to use it in long-term :'(

Pro: Surprisingly superb battery life for Android; Whatsapp + BBM + moderate internet surfing can last two days from full charge. Great performance for it's price range. Some bloatware are useful and some can disable/uninstall. Great display brightness and color. and VERY VERY CHEAP. Cons: Weird power button and volume button places. Heavy and thick; bulky inside pocket. Poor side view display (good enough for me). Keyboard is a little bit small for big fingers. No headphone in box (had to buy 1).

Awesome phone!!! It's low spec-nice price, but auto-start manager and several other good tools integrated in the phone with root rights make the phone perform really good and having it customisable in an awesome way! Only problems that I guess they will fix in software update are with playing music and screen flicker just after unlocking. In short - phone having all good features that otherwise require rooting of the phone, now work without rooting it.

I saw this phone in one store yesterday and tried testing it since i was curious about the new release. its about $85 here in the Philippines but based on my brief experience with the speed and camera of the phone it is capable than other phone at its price range here. The cam is sharp and the display is not bad either. I tested an Acer z320 which is placed beside it and you really see the difference. the front cam is this phone is very sharp compared to the acer. i didnt feel any lag whie using it. In my own opinion for a base price like that(which in our country can be compared to Samsung j1) it would be my choice.
