Good evening, I am using blackberry 9860 with PIN:282C9782. I observed that my phone hanged and i removed and replaced the battery but it didn't come-up again. It only show red light at the top right corner of the phone. What can I do to enable it to come up? Please reply via my G-mail account. Thanks Kola Adegbite

it does not support Full HD video and FLAC format of Audio- FREE LOSSLESS AUDIO and one cannot use such files and need to convert to MP3, by which the true quality of music file is lost. you may say its a fone and not a media player, no body buys a media plahyer to play and listen to an audio file in FLAC format.In that way, BB9320/ bb torch9860 is a best choice as they can be compared to Sammy's Galaxy SIII

Just to clarify, O great all-knowing one, GSMArena is a trusted source for all mobile phone matters. If it's posted here on their site, I don't think you can blame people for showing even the slightest hint/sign of "belief". I think that rather than addressing readers and calling them "thick"...you should go and write GSMArena and ask them to correct the rumored phone details. Seems you know more than they do anyway, and they've been around for a while. Even mobile service carriers point to them when customers ask for phone details.

agree with arnab sain . blackberry introduces each new phopne with a certain new features but never has introduced a compelete set which can meet every ones demand ( e.g keyboard in S3 ) i dont think that bb will have its place even in the top five after a few years

Blackberry is the most dump company i ever seen.their phones dont have even a front facing camera but still overpriced.They think Blackberry charm is able to sell their products.thats not possible because of huge competition from Nokia E series,any Android phone,Apple phones.Because they also provide Push mail & Mail for exchange with only GPRS or 3G plan.But if any one buy a BB they have to purchase BB plan,which is a per month pain for their subscribers.For these reason i will prefer to buy a N9 or iphone4 not a BB storm3 like phone. This phone is doomed to fail. If you want to attain your former glory, you need to set the bar higher. As it stands now, even the most hardcore blackberry enthusiasts are going to have a hard time justifying new contracts with carriers based on inferior handsets. Its really a shame you have chosen to let the industry you once reigned over pass you by.

It should change the BB OS. I hope that the OS is 7. It look ugly. I hope also that when it release, there are two colours for the phone that is black & white :). Yea. We are hoping that BlackBerry team will do many changes on the features. We want the camera and video in HD. A new application like Skype or Video call :D. That's only my suggestion. i agree with some of the comments becaws it has no hd resolution i guess it has little differents and is not much different from, it prediseser the st5orm 2 i would stick with a storm 2 and rim should make fully touch screen phones with flush face and lose the trackpad for storms

i agree with the first persons comment. the specs are very weak compared to the thunderbolt , droid x, and other smartphones. does not have a flash player, very disappointed about that. if those are the true specs , then i am going to get the thunderbolt. Wake up rim , there is still time to make adjustments.

I work in a phone store and have had hands on experiance with the storm 1 storm2 and torch i also had a contract for the storm 1 which i paid $1000 to upgrade early, BlackBerry are terrable at makeing a touch screen handset and I personaly think the torch was the storm one all over again a terable handset, I cant see how the storm 3 is going to be any better. needless to say the Blackberry 9700 was and still is a fantastic phone.

well it looks like you dont own any full touchscreen phone thats why you like track pads, well i tell you its harder to use a track pad than a full touchscreen phone, full touch harder to use??LOL!:P the track pad is slow to use, you scroll down up and push the track pad to select,what a waste of time! LOL! you just tap it once on a full touch screen phone your done!

The phone is bad, ugly looking and its basicly the bb storm 2, plus a track pad. Why uncluding it it will just slow the phone down so think a little and make something interesting for a change. Also branding the phone to only one mobile carrer is the biggest mistake RIM cold ever do i just hope that it doesnt gappen woth this one. I myself wouldnt buy it and Im a bb storm fanatic but that bb storm 3 is so ugly I just hope that when they launch it they change the looks a little.

well for those of you who are saying that iphone has better designs than bb ... thats totally not true ... Iphone has design that is perfect for female users ... blackberry storm2 (and storm3 hopefully) are having more masculine design. iphone is great phone ive used it ... and its great for games and funn and browsing also... but bbs are more for business and serious people. so if you have a kid ...buy him an iphone to play with... if your buying for your self ... get a bb ^^

As a matter of fact, you are wrong. The Storm that was canceled, was last year's refresh of the Storm2. It had almost no changes in the hardware and was ditched. This here is the real Storm 3, slated for release in H2 2011.

As far as Ive heard this phone was cancelled. Only AT&T(not sure) wanted to take it up for contract so RIM didnt continue with the production. there is a video on you tube regarding this topic please do see it.

Hi As a happy BlackBerry Storm user, I was hoping something things should be taken seriously by RIM (Research In Motion) when building their specifications of their BlackBerry high-end devices. I've looked at the "Unconfirmed" specifications and I am missing: 1. CAMERA: a FRONT CAMERA for Video Calling is an imperative, period - that is for basic GSM calls as well as VOIP Calls such as Skype, etc. 2. RAM: A very good RAM is not a luxury but a true need - FREEZING BlackBerry is frustraiting that needs to be reboot by removing battery - DISASTER. I see it is stated that BB Storm 3 will have 512mb RAM; it should be taken into account that with the popularity of Mobile Apps - RAM must be very good to run various 3rd party applications some of us will be using immediately after buying the device. It should also be noted that gradually other non-advanced users will be knowing more about 3rd Party Apps and will demand to install such; of which the RAM thing will affect many then. 3. Battery Life: Something really needs to be done with the battery life of BlackBerry Storm - I know the big LED screen affects immensly the battery life. I had 3 BB Storm 9500; all of them didn't have the Screen DIM working. 4. WLAN: at least I see that Storm 3 will have WLAN - GREAT!!!! Oh well, that's obviously what anon could do. /b/rothers, RIM ( Research in Motion ) made Blackberry as a sotifiscated for business usage, even in some part of it, it going towards media. The originality of Blackberry is for business user who use their phone for work, neither MP3 nor Gaming as iPhone did. I, myself are an iPhone user which, I know iPhone is cool, but each manufacture have their own opinion / path on making their own phones. I love Blackberry Storm for their own technology, unlike normal phones out there that use normal touch screen. Same goes to front faces camera, RIM have their own opinion in not inserting the front facing camera. Don't expect RIM to follow others phone footsteps that do what normally people did. TQ

This is something i like. BUT its lacking alot. It needs a front facing camera and a different designe unless this is in a lower market price.. I sold my storm 2 and i regret it because i loved that phone. It was my second blackberry and i loved it. I have iphone 4 but i miss blackberry and i dont see android in my future so i hope this comes out

why i couldnt have all phone, camera, video recorder, internet device and music player in one device? To me, to carry a camera and a phone means that you have a camera for professional business and not just to take photos of a special moment. If Rim is offering a camera in their devices, users should expect good images (particularly by BB prices), not pro quality images but they should match standar quality image for mobile phones. BB photos are good enough to take daylight photos but they are a mess for photos in poor light conditions scenes or with artificial lights such as fluorescent bulbs
