BLU Dash L4 LTE - User Reviews

  • not good phone,

  • I bought this for the screen size and the LTE. It's a good Android phone. Fair battery life -- most of a day anyway. speed adequate. Nice having LTE networking in the US, where I still use it. My bad experience was that I was in Germany at the time, and the phone was stopped by customs because it doesn't satisfy EU electronics standards. I have read that this is due to the Chinese manufacturer cutting corners and playing games with safety regulations -- probably unnecessarily. The screen brightness is not impressive -- typical of cheaper phones. No accelerometer or compass sensor, renders some nice apps useless. Besides that, it's a quite useable phone.

  • If you want a 4" phone with a relatively modern Android OS and LTE 12 this is the best choice other than the Apple SE. Apple SE is the far superior phone naturally, but this phone is cheap. Caveat is that there are few accessories that exist for it. Another good choice is the Nokia 1...pretty much the same internals, but it has Android Go 8 instead of standard Android 7. It has a larger screen however (4.5").

  • Please, save yourself the hassle and don't get this phone.

  • It is available online at Walmart.

  • Where can you buy this released phone? Did not see it for sale on Amazon in the US like most BLU phones.

  • common blu stopping using that 5:3 ratio and try the new 18:9 phones more compacts and some HD/FHD resolutions you can do better than that
