BLU Vivo 4.65 HD - User Reviews

  • I have been using dash x for some time now, but the main problem with the phone is, I cannot change the ringtone neither can I replaced it. It is very disturbing. How can can I use door bell is my ringing tone. I need help. Some one should help me please

  • I have been with my Blu Vivo 4.65 Dual Sim Smartphone for four years now. In brief, I find it a very dependable phone, a real modern communication gadget, a companion. George Albert, Kampala, Uganda.

  • How come i cant play music from my blu vivo iv phone to my car with the USB cord, it doesnt recognise it, but when using my iPhone I don't have a problem with it, It plays. Any options on my blu vivo I've to play on my lexus gx 2011.

  • the phone is pretty good, good 189$ spent on it :D , and actually the OS on 4.65 HD is Jelly Bean not Ice Cream. Cheers !

  • how to update new versions of os is it possible or not

  • Is this the same gionee dream d1 available in india?

  • You can also get it at BestBuy.com that's where I bought mine, with next day shipping. I gotta say, for an off-brand phone it holds it's own. Too bad they don't have customized support for 4G networks on these unlocked phones yet...

  • how to update my mobile ics to jelly bean

  • Wifi reception for me this excellent. It's even better than my DELL notebook.

  • You can buy it on Amazon or Ebay!!!

  • Maybe you should contact [email protected] to see if their tech support team can help you out.

  • Actually it is 4 GB internal storage, the OS takes about 1 GB, leaving only 3 GB internal memory. You can also add additional memory by adding a Micro SD card to store your pictures, music, media and applications. If you need help with understanding your phone ask the tech support team BLU has at [email protected].

  • This isn't a good phone regarding spec's.

  • wher do i buy dis fone, dos any online shoppn sitz hav dis listd ??

  • I don't understand with all these good specifications and price, why GSMARENA have not review this smartphone?

  • Good phone...only problem that I found is that WIFI reception is very weak. Have to be close to wireless router to get reception.

  • Internal ROM is 3gb and not 4gb. Internal storage for apps is 1gb and Phone storage for photo, music, etc is 2gb

  • Simply check in options when a song is opened or in contacts to set a ring tone or special ring tone for a certain contract.this phone is great.once again no regrets...I have mines a little over a month now and no problems at all...there is no app that I have found that it can't run.best phone for the price hands down

  • There is no coments on my MOBILE, problem is we don't know how to set video ringtone to my mobile.plz suggest me. PVRam Narasimha Reddy, HYDERABAD.

  • How do you set/change ringtones on the phone. can't seem to find the option. Also can you add a specific ringtone to a contact??

  • This phone is awesome cpmpared to my old SII that drawned it performs better in every songle aspect , the screen is waaay better even tho some ppl are complaining about batterie imo its superior to samsung's and uuh has a better processor and touch screen is flawless

  • Ihave recived the mobile from USA 10 days ago, iam searching for mobile since 4 months iam not expected after reciving the mobile is above my expectations very very excellent in all performances, all of my friends who having samsung grand is below rating then BLU IN ALL ASPECTS Iam proudly feeling, battary is depend on utilisation of net useing with out net useing we can use two days with out charging iam the first person BLU MOBILE D930 IN MY HAND in hyderabad iam the person holding the BLU MOBILE available very much affortable price also THANKS FOR BLU

  • UPDATE.... I never pushed the headphone jack in all the way, the socket was actually very tight and needed an extra push to correctly connect, this phone is great!! In regards to the battery issue i mentioned the battery life actually seems to be improving over time compared to when i just got the phone. I have noticed the phone will get some what warm after running certain apps such as skype after a period of time. other than that this phone is the best bang for your buck! it is good, no regrets!

  • This is an amazing phone!!! The color resolution is spectacular and the operation is smooth and seamless. The "i" is perfect for international travelers. This phone is under priced for its quality and features. I have ordered a Vivo 4.3 for my daughter...eager to get her response.

  • The phone is good very fluid. The only draw backs are the battery life is poor it drains quickly, also it takes long to charge.the other down fall is the head phone Jack is not tight the plug for head phones slips out very easily so it's easy for the sound to become distorted if you touch or play with connection point when headphones are plugged in making it impossible to use headphones when the phone is in your pocket, that is a major draw back. However the sound quality through headphones is very good, the best bass on headphones I have ever heard.other wise it's a very good phone

  • Unfortunately, this phone does NOT support dual standby. If you are on a call on one line, the other one cannot receive calls. The information here is misleading, I found this the hard way :(

  • As you know, accessories are few..very few..! So, for the case, I took the same dedicated for LG nexus 4.. It's just perfect... it's sure..

  • Yes, the phone is capable of working as a portable hotspot.

  • It uses the "normal" size sim cards, not the miniature ones used in the iPhone.

  • Does this phone use standard sized sim cards? or the smaller types like the Iphone 4s that I have?

  • Does anyone know if this phone also has hotspot capability?

  • I received my ViVo 4.65 yesterday, after few weeks of waiting, I'm very happy ! It's the D930i, "i" for international (3G compatible with europe/asia frequency). It is really fine. Good quality and finishing. The texture is pretty good, like a rubber for a perfect grip. The screen is amazing. Beautiful and true color... The body is really slim and the size is quite good for the grip. Any lag during the usage. The phone is very smooth and fast. Good point. The dual sim is a very good point. Two active line on the same time. Good if you have a personnal and professionnal line, like me. The bad point is the supply charger, done for US only (so it's an US plug), even if you take the D930i for international usage. Fortunately, the cable is in USB/miniUSB, so I use an other personnal supply to recharge. To conclude, it's great phone...good quality/price/performance. Enough.. Enjoy!!

  • I've vivo 4.3 and it doesn't support dual stby lines, if you receive a call you won't be able to receive another call from the other line. vivo 4.65 has the same problem?

  • very good phone

  • How can i get the this mobile in india. any pls help me.

  • The Good: Screen: The display is better than mi friends Galaxy S III ppi is 316!! almost on par with iphone 5, and the AMOLED display colors are amazing. Speed: I haven't encountered any problems with the phone so far. 1 gb of ram is more than enought for widgets, background running aps and games (I haven't tried any heavy 3D games) Looks: The phone looks and feels great, you can feel the quality, and for a price of 300.00 it can't be beat (with dual sims) Camera: Camera is OK, the led is powerful, but sometimes the pictures looks too white/blu because of the LED, specially on closer pics. The Bad: Battery: If you check your phone and play all the time, your battery will not last a day. its only 1600 so have a charger in hand Android: It comes with android 4.0 and you CANT upgrade it to 4.1 or 4.2 Verdict: This is the best dual sim phone in the Americas market. I have 1 sim on at&t and another on telcel mexico. the extra 500 mb RAM over the vivo 4.3 are well worth it.

  • no led notification, I only installed 1 sim, but NO led notifications for facebook o other apps.

  • Haven't had any problems with audio, except that the lowest setting for the volume is kinda high. let say that it has 0-10, the 1 is loud, but it doesn't really matter only if you playing a game at night with your roommates asleep

  • I know there are two models that are for the different regions but that *is* the issue. If you want a "world" dual SIM phone that supports 3G in both the USA and Asia, this phone wont do it. I had the reverse problem when I bought the Acer Liquid Gallant Duo (E350). It supports 3G in Asia (2100) but not in America. As I said, it appears the Samsung Grand is the only phone with a decent screen size that can do it right now.

  • model d930i has 2100 freq. on 3g network and intended for (i)nternational version. model d930a is for (a)merican version. both model works on 2g network globally.

  • This phone seems to have one major flaw and that is that it will not be a good choice if you plan to use it for international travel. For me, the main reason I want a dual SIM phone is to have my home country (USA) SIM in one slot, while having a cheap local country SIM in the other slot. I travel mostly to Asia where the 3G network runs on 2100. The "US" version of this phone will not run 3G on the 2100 band. The Samsung Grand does appear to support both networks on 3G, but that screen resolution... ugh Russell

  • brother tell me two things, has led notification? and if both are on standby sim. thanks for your answer

  • how's the mic? i hope no problem for this model. i owned the 4.3 vivo and i gotta use the speaker phone or bluetooth headset when caling, otherwise, audio volume from the other end is very low.

  • I got my phone 3 days, and I gotta say that I love it. The screen is amazing, better galaxy S III, The phone is fast and smooth. I downloaded a bunch of apps and widgets and I halfway on my 1 gb of ram. Battery on stand by is pretty good, but if you use it like and xbox it wont last more than a couple of hours. I am glad I waited for the 4.65 instead of the 4.3 the 1 gb of ram and processor really makes a difference. Camera is OK

  • Any reviews yet?

  • i like i want to by this phone

  • Is it confirmed to be released in india.I would like to buy this was waiting for this specs for long time.can not resist now.

  • has or not notification LED?

  • Dear Vin 1. Right now on ebay.in at Rs 20k 2. Amazon has it for 314 USD, if you can arrange to ship to India 3. Wait till 7th Feb, the distributor gave me that date for official availability

  • Already appeared on Amazon on price though, I really think I like this phone but I wonder if you have LED notification, someone who has already purchased could confirm whether this utility brings? thanks in advance

  • For me is more about the 1 GB of ram, and the better camera

  • ebay.in for about 20k shipped from states.

  • As far as i know these phones are shipped to North and South America's only. I had a brother in low studying in the States and had it shipped to its hotel. Had it in my possesion 2 weeks later. So unless you know someone who is either in of those countries or you have a postal adress there, i dont think it will be possible to get it to your country. But i might be mistaken..

  • trust me...it will. I own the 4.3 and it holds out for about 1 day with average use.

  • Just want to say the following: People saying "im glad i didnt buy the 4.3 so i can buy this one" dont know what they are talking about. Probably don't even have the blu vivo 4.3... Only difference with this phone is a larger screen with higher pixel density (HD, duh) and (if we may believe the specs given heren, be aware) higher ROM memory. Its larger whilst the 4.3 is already big so it might become a bit clumpsy to handle. There will hardly be any protective covers available for it also. The battery is the same (1600maH) which means it drains much and much faster than the (already pretty fast drained) Blu Vivo 4.3. OS is the same, has its flaws. Sometimes apps crash spontaniously so unless it had the GB OS instead of ICS its not an advantage. Not saying the blu vivo 4.3 is a bad phone, in fact it is freaking big bang for the bucks (lots of dutch people here wondered where i got it from and want the same phone for dual sim) but this HD version wont be worth its extra bucks. Believe me, the 4.3 is very well balanced already (when it comes to overall performance i can say it can almost cope with the iphone4s which is also a great phone). Tried them both. So be carefull when making unfounded statements..

  • Mobile City. com has the on pre-sale for 280 dlls. They are going to get them on stock on January 29th.
