How do you reset after you install anniversary update??? Does the resolution work fine after the install??? Or does it work after the reset?

You can now update BLU Win JR LTE X130e with Windows 10 anniversary update (Redstone 1). The scaling issue is now resolved and phone is having both screen resolution and app resolution as 480x854 after the anniversary update. In order to update, you should be having Windows 8.1 on your phone. After installing "Upgrade Advisor" app and confirming upgrade, it will first upgrade to Windows 10 (Threshold). Then once you again try for update, it will be upgraded to Redstone 1 (10.0.14393.321). You must reset your phone once you are upgraded to Windows 10 anniversary update. The phone is working really well after the upgrade.

BLU Win JR LTE X130e is supporting Jio 4G network in India. I have tried that and found it working. You need to give your Aadhar Card Xerox to Jio executive and ask him to do the barcode generation, activation and Jio-tele-verification process due to the reason that Windows store doesn't provide MyJio app which is necessary for barcode generation. Else for Jio-tele-verification process, you can dial 1800-890-1977 from your other number. Once you get the Jio sim and it is active/tele-verified, you can use it only for data and not for voice in this phone. I have kept APN settings as manual instead of automatic where APN = Jionet and IP type = IPv4.

After WP10 anniversary update, touch got corrupted in BLU Win JR LTE X130e. There seems to be resolution scaling issue as the device information in settings shows a resolution of 540X960 instead of the actual 480X854. Therefore when you touch something, it won't be clicked and something else (nearby) will be clicked. Therefore moved back to WP8.1 using WDRT.

i bought this phone last year during october 2015 in India. i submitted this phone to service center this year February. still i m waiting for the replacement after 4 months. service center ppl and company customer care guys even stopped responding my mails. now i m going to consumer court on this. so buy this phone only for use and throw basis. dont expect after sale service. pathetic brand with pathetic service.

Finally, the windows 10 update is here. at least here in India. download the upgrade advisor app and check for the update. Then go to the update setting a download win 10 phone update. Also, there is another stable update ( .420), after win 10 is installed on your phone. Note: The update is currently available only for 1 GB version of the device.

Ok so I got this phone July of last year. For anyone looking for a budget smartphone, $100 might be a steal for you - but you get what you pay for. When I'm using youtube, the phone will randomly stop and go back to home screen for no reason. This isn't that bad because you can get back to it but it's annoying none the less. Also, windows app store is REALLY bad. Worse than amazon. The camera is very poor (if you want to post semi-acceptable photos from this phone, you're out of luck) All in all the phone is just not good and doesn't suit me at all. My sister has the same phone and hers gets really bad reception as well. The phone has started to randomly freeze up on me so much that I can't even turn it off, and the battery isn't removable, so I just have to wait. I'm getting the Idol 3 4.7" soon, but this phone didn't even last a year without becoming stupid. Disappointed. If you are a teen that wants just basic Instagram and Snapchat abilities, as well as just a nice setup, don't get this phone. If you want a phone for travel or perhaps a work phone for on the go or something, maybe it'll work. Just don't buy this expecting something that it isnt.

Note there are two version of this phone available, the X130E and X130Q. The X130Q (shown here) only has 512MB RAM and will NOT have a windows 10 update (confirmed by Microsoft). This model can also only record video at 720p max. The X130E has 1GB RAM and will have a windows 10 update very soon. This model can also record video at 1080p. There maybe some other differences between the models too (like LTE bands supported) but the main thing is if you want the Windows 10 update you must have the X130E model.

The phone specs looks stunning for a price of 3000 INR But the phone battery drains fast with games. Also the phone may end up in showing lower resolution. That makes the phone unusable till the battery drains and gets switched off! Once it switches on; all go right ! Another problem I faced was that it has lower network reception.

Got this on Amazon for £39.95 delivered. What's not to like? Screen is good, camera reasonable, 1gb ram and 8gb with gps & dual sim. Got it as a play around device, ended up getting free voda/talktalk sim and its amazing for the price, especially the speaker for media such as BBC iPlayer.. I can recommend it, but you need to go searching for apps that are actually useful because they're hard to find amongst the dross.

My internal memory has been near capacity for about 90 days. The "phone" requires almost the entire amount of memory, so with several e-mail addresses loaded for my business, this is a problem. The Windows pre-loaded items cannot be transferred to an SD card....a real bummer. I like the phone otherwise but cannot use it for business any longer.

Basic mobile, well 4G is ok, but for navigation is very bad, there is NO GPS , phone gets position from cellular data (AGPS only) , mind there is no e-compass sensor, a really terrible experience. I am not supriced they sell this thing for £35, a friend that works on a well known warehouse in UK told me there is so much stock of this phone as the sales are low. I think I m lucky I managed to return it back. my score : 3/10

For £54.00 in UK. I think it is a great phone. My wife has the lumia 535 BLU is just as good and cheaper. Windows 10 update when available. Only concern is the fixed battery. But higher spec phones have fixed battery. Phone very responsive and easy to operate. Smart and sleek design. I would recommend this phone.

got this phone delivered to my house for £55 , 1GB of RAM on UK version , great phone for less money than I spend on one average night out :) unbelievable spec for the cost , screen resolution ok but not great 5" version has higher resolution (same processor) I needed a replacement for my Nokia 620 and wanted 4G LTE and dual sim so really pleased with this purchase (amazon) 8/10.

The Indian variant is actually an upgraded one to the international variant. It has a gig of RAM and 8 gigs of storage built in. The listed specs are for the international variants.

hi i got this phone yesterday vis amazon for Rs.2999 and had the same dought then i donloaded an app from MS store called system view and it show RAM as 918MB so this has 1GB and the storage is 8gb but u get around 3.50GB free only it supports 32GB SD im using one nice decent phone worth the buy

Questions for existing users: Camera quality compared to say, moto g? Burst shots? Screen in sunlight, legible? Gap betweed digitizer and LCD? Sealed or does dust get in? Confirm no compass? Sensorcore apps, specifically stepcounter for MS Health. Does it work or no? ...and if anyone can comment, I would like to use Virgin Canada for voice/text and Wind Mobile for data. Is this possible? I'm hoping for at least 3g connection for both sims, or is one 2g only? Thanks kindly to anyone who takes time to answer!

There is no gyroscope. Speakers are in the back. Back camera sucks for video recording (really low frame rates) The GPS and default Maps app is good, and allows you to save maps for free, but it does not have turn-by-turn navigation. So if you overshoot, it won't automatically recalculate. Default lock screen allows only numeric password for security. It has a very small amount of internal memory, and even though you can add an SD card, certain data has to be stored in internal memory (GPS maps for instance), however any new app you download from the store can be stored on the SD card. It supports VPN. Still looking for an app to explore the directory, but the only way to do it is via USB connection to a computer, it seems. My Windows Vista laptop is unable to install the drivers necessary to explore the phone. Contacts list automatically include Skype contacts, which is annoying. Default music player is an X-Box music player. The speakers aren't that great. Use of the phone is fast and snappy. Touchscreen behaves a little weird sometimes. If you hold down on the screen while scrolling down a document, it starts jittering. A cool design, in my opinion.

I am able to make calls and receive text messages but it won't let me respond to any text messages? It doesn't say sent. I have been on the phone with straight talk tech support for 2 hrs and still nothing.... Can someone please help me who has experience with the phone..
