BQ Aquaris X Pro - User Reviews

  • aquaris x designed in spain

  • I've been using this smartphone for 3 months and i could say that its a very good phone for it price (i got for 160usd) the camera is ok can't it's Impressive but it good the selfie shooter is way better than the main camera ,it deals better with the colors and sharpness ,the experience with the stock android is fluide and fast but i expect to get fast update but i was wrong my friend has nova 3i and he got the October update while am still stuck with the september update ,battery life is ok a get 6 hour of SOC with fast charging 3.0 ,the screen is good not amoled so almost all IPS are the same , issue i had none , yes am serious i had no issue except for the sd card , the phone delete stuff from it and most of the time its doesn't show up and when it does i cant transfer file from the memory of the phone to sd card even if access it guaranteed ,weird thing ,overall the phone is very good with almost no problem and in an affordable price

  • Worst brand i have ever used. lot of bugs, no spare parts are easily available. lasted only 4 months, got pissed off with the issues... Chinese/Korean brands are way advanced and better than this!

  • I can't but agree with those who pray the quality of this brand, they do take care and invest in research in every important aspect of the phone, the sound quality is superb and so are the videos and pictures. And as other people say, they last a good while, i speak frommy own experience, it can be expensive if u go for the top but its a great brand both for those who want a properly working(and lasting) phone for a fair price, as well as for those willing to play with it and still not spend Fortune.

  • Bq x2 pro is the successor to this one .

  • This is the Aquaris X Pro!

  • Search Aquaris X2 pro , it's their upcoming model, good design dual camera benchmarks found on geekbench suggest it will have Snapdragon 660 Android Oreo 4gb ram

  • When a successor will come? I kinda like the design language of this one. A 5.5 inch display, and SD 660 CPU with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage and good camera would be good specs for it. Oh yeah and of course a good battery life.

  • Hallo Bro, here is the legendary BQ Aquaris (Spain), it is not the same as BQ MOBILE (Russia). BQ SPAIN has a powerful Research Center in Madrid, with over 200 Engineers. BQ MOBILE RUSSIA is simple trade company with logo.

  • Best mid range camera

  • BQ is a Russian brand

  • BQ is a spanish brand.

  • very kind people at bq support, thank you a lot !

  • The fact is made in China doesn't mean is Chinese, as iPhone users if they consider their phones Chinese.

  • Yeah, I had an M5 for the past 2 years. I'm in love with it. I broke the screen, BQ replaced it with no questions asked, I dropped it in water, put in rice for a week, still worked for another 6 months. It just gave up on me, I think there was still some moist left in the phone, because you can't open it and therefor couldn't dry properly. The sad thing is that M5 is now sold out due to it's awsomeness. I recommend the brand to everyone. Done properly, for mid-range price, and their customer support is outstanding!

  • It's just average, low bass and volume.

  • Ofcourse is available for the Europeans you can buy online the rom global version and for 200$ , bq for the same quality or worse are almost the double, so buying this phone is bad choice, i compare for the price value :)

  • Hi, Somebody can tell us about sound voice quality in phone use and also about sound quality of the mono loud speaker. Thanks from France

  • Also, Xiaomi's Mi A1(which I really like) is not available for europeans. BQ's X pro on the other hand is.

  • I was just stating that Bq makes good quality phones. That's all. It's an relatively unkown brand that makes really good phones. They cannot compete with a giant like Xiaomi as a brand. But still, their phones are good. :-)

  • You dont know more? As i already say the xiaomi have one phones with the android one, is android pure, you need to update yourself, now is the tendency to go to pure android, for example: htc, nokia and motorola have phones with pure android without bloatware, and are better than BQ because the price value, i was a fan in the past of bq and buying their phones (e5hd, m5) but now the competition is very strong and bq are getting expensive for their specs, they need to lower the prices or they will disappear from the market..

  • I experienced hundreds of phones in all brands and bq has been far the best I have used.

  • I've owned two different models(M5 and U plus), and I have about 5(yes, five) friends who have the Aquaris M5 model. We're all happy with them. For the price, of course. Really good phones, no problem whatsoever. Good cameras, good battery life. Great build quality too. Xiaomi is a great brand, of course. Maybe some people literally hate the MIUI experience with all that cheap chinese bloatware and workorounds to get the play services fully working and would like pure Android on their phones.

  • you dont know what you are talking about, bq : bad quality, is made in china, so is like the others chinese brands, the xiaomi android one for exemple is a most value for the price ok? dont waste your money in this phone..

  • I never understood what's the point in these kind of comments. BQ phone are usually great for their prices, don't even try to compare them with those crappy chinese sets, ok? It's not a spec fight. Phones are more than just specs. I had a BQ M5 and it was truly a great phone. And I've owned lots of phones.

  • this phone is very weak, very expensive, the cpu is slow, and the photos are very bad, dont by this, and the BQ support is terrible. there are so most better phones to buy for this price.

  • I'm a proud owner of an old BQ model (E5 FHD) for 3 years and I can say it is worthy. It's very fast comparing to other known brands. It has fallen many times and didn't stop working despite the broken screen. The battery is not very big but lasts a day with intense use (calls, facebook, gps, internet).

  • Plus, it HAS Radio!

  • The X Pro is a great smartphone. Amazing quality.

  • Hi! I do own a bq smartphone, the Aquaris E5HD (2gb ram -1st generation) since 2014. It still being a great phone (camera is not great although) and it durable! Once I needed some assistance and it when very good. Start an RMA, phone was picked up at home, went to spain (bq headquarter) and returned to my home. They do work well. Plus, it has a very genuine Android operating system, since bq keeps the android version clean with only some soft retouches. I still have my E5, and intend to change it only, to have a more better mobile camera. Hope it help! Bruno

  • I got it last weekend, and what should I say: it`s great. I had the HTC 10 before, but was not happy with battery consumption and wireless reliability. The bq feels very nice, runs smooth and fast and is not bloated. For me it`s perfect!

  • I am having an issue at the moment with Android Pay not working because it fails SafetyNet. BQ have just said this morning that it is caused by their last update and will be fixed in the next one - fingers crossed.

  • Camera is as good as I remember the 5x being, if not better - certainly no worse. Not that I'm a great photographer.

  • Hi, the Moto g5+ has a similar camera and was supposed to be as good as the s7 - but according to a lot of reviews it's not up to the same level.... How good is the x pro's camera over all? And I guess the overall feel of it? Any issues or regrets? Cheera

  • Hi! I just received mine in the UK too the other day. I also came from a 5X! Do you really find this camera comparable with the 5X? There's a stark difference for me and I'm just wondering if it's my phone or not.

  • I received my Aquaris X Pro (in the UK) yesterday having bought it direct from the BQ website. So far I'm very pleased. Nice big, bright screen with small bezels. Simple, vanilla Android 7.1.1 with 1st May 2017 patch level. I've installed all of my usual apps and so far everything is super smooth. Camera seems good (as you would expect from a flagship - it's the same as in the Galaxy S7). All in all I am very happy. My last three phones have been Nexus (4, 5 & 5x). After my 5x turned in to a brick I spent a while looking for something reasonably priced (under £400 with case) that still had the bits I wanted (fingerprint, NFC, Android Pay, USB Type-C) and this kept kept coming up in my searches. It has vanilla Android and BQ have made all the right noises about regular updates. If you are looking for a new Nexus this is the closest I have seen on the market.

  • What a joke with this kind of pricing, costs about 400+ euro.

  • Well not for heavy gamer. For me a battery in Oukitel K10000 is not enough but no phone on market have better battery. But there are milions of phones which much better specs.

  • Battery must be quite good. Snapdragon 625 and 625 have a very low battery usage, they are very efficient.

  • Its the BQ logo, i find it pretty clever

  • Hello, I have the BQ M5 for over a year now, its pretty good, wont die easily (good quality) and is guaranteed 5 years by BQ themselves. Only problem imo is the processor, not strong enough, that is now quite slow on some big tasks. For normal stuff its still very reliable tho. I'm pretty sure it can live at least until it's 5th year, even if i will replace him in a few. The android version was stock, which is nice since it doesnt have any of the crap app pre installed and impossible to remove.

  • Battery should be bigger otherwise good phone.

  • only worth $200

  • The 64gb version will cost around 350€, on paper it looks great. Good display (quantum color) good processor, good battery, great camera

  • It looks like Lenovo Vibeshot apart from fingerprint sensor. As a midranger looks good but if cost more than 400 its not worth to buy.

  • I have never own a BQ phone. Did you use some of them? What can you say about them? Are their phones reliable?

  • This phone is available for pre order on amazon germany, if you lives in europe you'll be able to get your hands on this. Link - Hope I helped!

  • I can not find this on their official website. It looks good, and their price is not that expensive.

  • WTF have they done with the home button ffs

  • $200 worth, not even know the vendor

  • Truly very nice phone in looks
