It was nice at first but in the second day I noticed that the vibrating function wasn't working. Also mobile data didnt work for unknown reasons, but wi-fi worked. Maybe it was just a defective unit. For totall i have used it for about 2 years now and performance has gotten low in the past month. It's good that it can play still all the new games on play market.

dont really have much to say about the phone BUT trying to get a replacement battery is impossible .can anyone offer any help please (only service agent in uk ,as stated on GSMART web page, nolonger deal with them)

I've had this phone for about 18 months (a present), what I hate about it is, there was no manual. Battery life is ok but then I don't use it for games etc. My problem is that when I try to use the camera, I get the message - unfortunately, gallery has stopped. I've tried switching the damn thing off & on again - still no luck. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks

Had nine months same deleted face book messenger didn't like. Since never able to download ap same tons of storage space no matter where default write set it says insufficient space. No support from gsmart numbers gone dead supplied on warranty. Feel like been scammed

Bad experience: In Hungary, using a Vodafone-HU sim card and a bluetooth headset, when i get an incoming call from a Vodafone phone number, or i try to call a vodafone phone number, the telephone lost the connection, i need to enter PIN again. All of this happen only if 3G enabled. If i switch it off, or use another provider's SIM card, everything OK. The headset i use perfectly works in another four other telephone. I tried 3 different Vodafone-HU SIM cards, all were the same. And earlier when i tried to copy some videos from a Nokia-6230i over bluetooth connection, the Gigabyte keep switched off the bluetooth right after the data transfer started. The connection was lost and the bluetooth switched on again automatically.

I have this phone (gsmart aku a1) like one year. But there is a problem. In my phone storage there is like 1.50 GB (gygabait) on SD card the same.I go to google play, market and i want to download a ge which is like 50 MB and it says:mistake downloading a game. There isnt enough space on your device. And thats with every game. Game is like from 20 to 100 MB I have 1.50 GB in SD card and 1.49 GB in phone storage and it says not enough space on your device. WTF??? Help me please :///

My sis and I have this phone for half a year, it blocked a few times, but after locking and unlocking screen it goes back to normal. I charge mine's battery for every 2-3 days and my sis for every 4-5 days (she uses less than I do). So I think it's a good phone

I have had this phone for about a month now and when i saw it advertised on TV they were selling a USB plug to plug into the TV so that it was possible to send via Bluetooth pictures from the phone to the TV unfortunately they ran out of said USB plugs and i am wondering where i might get one and what is the name of this plug?

Had this phone 3 weeks and when I first tried out this phone using the data connection, it sent an email and shut me out. I couldn't switch it back on, it was a hot day so I wondered if there was a problem with working in warm conditions,it later allowed me to switch it back on. I ran this by customer services who answered my question re settings but omitted the heating situation. Then again today using data it sent an email switched of and couldn't get it to come back on, until I put it on charge, prior to sending the email it was on 98% it was now showing 50% but quickly went up to 78%, appears to me to be an issue with the battery discharging, anybody else had this problem

Bellow average camera, average or bellow average screen ( viewing angle, colours ok), older quad - but good results, enough Ram, smooth app running, not bad battery life, touch screen ok, screen resolution could be better. You win some, loose some, overall ok value for the money. It would be great if some app could use small red led light active during calls for missed call/sms notification.

So first of all I'd like to say that gigabyte's customer support is horrible. If that doesn't bother you read on. The camera is below average. It only takes a couple frames per second (10 or so) and as such it takes a very long time to sharpen the picture. Also the colors are not so good (green sometimes looks like blue). Screen has bad viewing angles but in most cases that isn't a problem. CPU and GPU are both fine, but are not top tier, so if you want to buy a top tier phone this one isn't for you. Overall you can play games pretty easily on highest settings without lag and watch any video no matter how high detailed it is. Touchscreen is responsive and the screen is pretty big too so typing isn't a problem. Battery lasts pretty long. You can get through 2 days if you don't use your phone that much and can still have WiFi always on. It has 1GB big storage for apps and 1.5GB for other stuff. You can move some apps to micro SD card. You can easily hold your phone during the day because of the rubber on the back, but it becomes harder to do so in bed because edges are slippery. Also it has a lot of features locked so you might wanna root it. And you just might want to know that... CPU eats very little power whereas screen drains like crazy. I tried to be as informative as possible (maybe too critical) so I hope I helped. :)

Great phone, fast, apps work great, no lag, big screen, good angle view TFT LCD, but the thing that is pure crap on this phone is the 5MP camera and the 3gp video recording... it's just bad really bad my 5230 nokia 2MP camera takes better pictures and has better video quality then this phone, otherwise this is a great phone

You need to turn on GPS EPO assistance and A-GPS under Location access ---> GPS satelites for a fast gps fix. Camera could be better. And screen doesn't have gorrilla glass protection. Othervise, this is a great, cheap phone :)

Price/ performance is superb, but camera quality is more like most poor I ever seen, gps cold start have to wait aprox 10-15min. Screen for this price is great, don't have to worry about pixel destenty or someth. Battery so-so, sound quality quite allright

You should buy a micro SD card (I'd say 4GB is the minimum. I have a 2GB now and it's rather insufficient). The 4 GB memory is used by the Android OS, and it takes quite a lot of it. There is no way you could use the full 4 GB amount.

I have bought this phone today for 135� in Slovenia. For this price I can bear with all flaws that it has, which are: Camera is extremely laggy in photo mode (around 4 FPS preview), video is smooth. Viewing angles are decent, but if you tilt it towards you just a little bit the colors look weird. It comes with a few apps that are considered bloatware and can't be deleted ("Best Choice", "TouchPal keyboard",...) Performance is very good, it's snappy and responsive. I'd say for such a low price anyone can bear with weird color at certain tilt as it really works well apart from that. I haven't though it would perform as well as it does and would recommend this phone to anyone who can't afford anything else at the moment. Battery seems to be quite good for such a large device, in 4 hours of heavy use it went from 60% to 30%. Keep in mind that the screen setting was set to about 45%.

You can install applications on the SD card. The big downside of this Smartphone is undetectable in Windows 7, XP only detects smartphone. However, it is not as big a problem as you can rip sd card data by other means (such as a memory card reader), because this smartphone is very good file manager;) Overall Rating smartphone for me is 4/5. Battery what you expect does not work for very long, but it is a problem for all smartphones.

I bought this smartphone yesterday for 100 LVL, that is aprox 122 UK pounds. If you compare what other smartphones you could buy for that price, this one is the best. The design and grip is satisfying. On the back it has that silicon-plastic cover for extra grip. The touchscreen responds good. The performance is superb. It can play Galaxy on Fire 2 HD, Dead Trigger and Ravensword on MAX without lag and it doesnt even get that hot. The camera is decent. The minus is that it is so new that there are no accesories yet. Overall, i am very happy with this phone for that price.

I have received my device about 12 hour ago and as far as I could play with it, all I can say is it is far better than I expected, given its price. Runs fast and smooth, no lag whatsoever. The digitizer is made of glass, since someone asked in previous comment. The call quality is good (although my old phone had problems with the earpiece, so don't take my word for it). The screen looks great, has decent brightness (I was able to navigate it rather easily out in the sun. Sound from the speaker is good. The camera is surprisingly good. I was expecting way less for this amount of money, having in mind the specs. It has plenty of scene modes, like multiple angle shot, panorama, shoot when a smile is detected, "face beauty", which blurs the details a bit (kinda like photoshop). The video tho is only shot at 480p, but has digital image stabilization. The device ships with clean stock Android, so no additional crap is pre-installed. The back cover has rubbery like texture, and it is a joy to hold the phone in your palm. I have noticed there was no LED notification light, which is rather disappointing, but, again, given the price, I can live without it. Overall, I think it's a great device. I love it, and I guess you will too.

AnTuTu benchmark score is 13734, it also shows that it has 240dpi screen. Also, camera has 5,3MP(3072x1728), which is quite decent, but the front facing camera is just awful. The speed/performance for this price is just unbelievable. Weight isn't an issue as this is quite a big phone. Earphones are very cheaply made, but phone seems very solid, not cheap.
