  • Pls flash your rom. its caused by your android. I did the same to mine. I downloaded the official rom from Huawei website, placed it in an sd card. then installed it through recovery mode. its working fine since that day except the contacts updating issue. I also almost solved this issue by disabling all the google apps and accounts. I use Aptoid for downloading apps instead of playstore. you have to manage this legendary crap this way.

  • do not upgrade from jelly bean to kitkat or higher. the phone battery will drain much faster. stick to jelly bean. os upgrade not worth it. find a custom light jelly bean if possible

  • The process is not dangerous man, all you need to know is how to do that. However I'm using cm13 android 6.0.1 and it's awesome ;-)

  • Amazing phone and no updates. How is possible a phone with a 8 x 1.7Ghz and with 2 GB of RAM don't have any updates. No kitkat, no lolipop! Huawei have amazing phones but they don't care about the customers. This phone is stuck in jelly bean 4.2.2 and many new apps are not even compatible with this OS like Pokemon GO. Even the Chinese version from this phone each is the T00 got kitkat and the international version dont. The only way to update the phone is convert the U10 to a T00 and get kitkat 4.4.2. But the process is so dangerous is not even worth trouble! The way is to sell it and buy a new one. Because this phone is a waste of time! The phone is good and i regret to buy it, to be honest.

  • I had received a "Contact Storage Update version: Huawei_V1.2.2" on my Huawei G-750-U10 couple of days ago. I simply installed the update. After the installation I checked the update details which stated "This update fixes an issue in the Contacts application", and "[Highlights] Fixed an issue where the Contacts app occasionally freezes at the contacts loading screen". Let me share my experience here that I have found no progress in the said update and my device still lags and freezes on contacts app or dialer screen. I have switched off my device auto sync but I have witnessed that most of the time the dialer or contacts freezes when I use any messenger app which may try to get access or sync the contacts. Please share your experiences if any of you guys have received the same update and found it useful.

  • Omar , this issue may be because of your sim card , because i experienced this problem in my Lenovo A5000 because my Sim card was the ( old ) sim card , but they cut my sim to be micro sim to be matched with sim slot , so i recommend you to change your sim card with new one not ( cut ) one , you will find that every thing going well

  • I was using this phone Huawei Honor 3X G750 since a year, I don't know the reason but few days ago suddenly it started getting heat and the phone is now totally dead (Black out). I took it to nearest Huawie's service centre at Mursalat Mobile market in Riyadh. The only problem I have are: - I receive notifications for old email already opened - When you type long messages and you have to correct something written in the previous lines it becomes very slow and it doesn't write all the letters you type; I tried using the standard android keyboard and it works perfectly Btw you can play, see TV programs, use the GPS very strong task and it works very well

  • Stay away.Full of lags.When the msd card reached its limits, the phone started rebooting all the time.Apart from that, the ringtone sound turns to silent by itself and I have a lot of misscals.

  • 1- G750-U10 can be updated to KitKat 4.4.2 with EMUI 3.0 though through a rather delicate process that involves rooting, flashing a specific version of greek firmware then flashing KitKat 4.4.2 with EMUI 2.3, then flashing a specific recovery image then AT LAST flasing stock untouched KitKat 4.4.2 with EMUI 3 which is the latest stable version available for G750-T00 (which your U10 finally becomes) and your device will be able to receive further stock updates from huawei for G750-T00, you won't have to be rooted, which is awesome. 2- sound quality and loudness improves greatly with update. 3- all google apps become available after the update.

  • I have this phone for the last 6 months since I bought it (huawei g750 u10). I never encounter any issues, it's a perffect phone for a budget. It's runs smooth, and battery life is great! The only problem is, until now there's no kitkat updates and huawei seems they are not going to release any firmware update for this phone. And I don't care if that's not going to happened. My solution is, I'm gonna root it.

  • This is my 1st time using Huawei smartphone specifically this model and i've been using this for almost two months now and counting, and i have no issues, no regrets or whatsoever bad experience regarding this mobile phones *OVERALL PERFORMANCE* except maybe for the loudspeaker if i will rate it 1-5 i will rate it atleast 3 stars(not that good and not that bad either), This unit exceeded my expectation when it comes to performance especially the resolution while watching bluray copy movies it was like your watchin a blue ray movie on a full hd tv but of course it is compact, battery life is ok(3-4hrs continous usage) depends on how you use it or what app your using, like for example if your using ung Mobile Data + HD Games it will suck the batt out of your phone, but thats common to all touchscreen phones. And for the camera, its also as good as other branded mobile phone today. And lastly the design i got the black one and i like the leather-ish feel at the back and the bezel is very elegant. to wrap up my review i'll give it a rating of 8, why 8? that's for the earphone i like "in-ears" but the sound quality for the heaset is beyond ok and the other thing is the case for the model is very hard to find here in KSA, well thanks for reading and i have shared my personal experience and my own review in Honor 3X G750. :)

  • Hi 3X out of china work only with 2G. This is not defaut but in real china has TDSCDMA system and in europ or other countries we use WCDMA. You can read it in phone in place where you inser your sim card.

  • Because... This phone has 2 variants... 1- For china or some asia lands. 2- For the rest of the world. If you are not a member of first group probably you'll get G750-U10 version, which is buggy and has many man y many many many problems and huawei has no intent to fix it just like another craps which sold mostly in EU countries. Huawei wants to forget this phone, thats why there is no section for this U10 version but if you buy chinese variant then you'll get better phone and better support. So G750 has too much problems, crashes many times in a day for no reason just self restarts, and there is no cure for it not there will be not, terrible battery life is another good side of this freak. Another funny thing is that there is a possibility to unlock bootloader and install custom recovery or rom for G750-Txx series but just f.k for U10. Seek for chinese variant if you really want to buy but I don't suggest you to buy any huawei crap because really waste of money.

  • Hi. I would say both its talking time and standby is excellent! On my previous S4 with full charged in the morning, it hardly can sustain until evening or so. For this Honor 3X, with my data an wifi connection is on, it still able to last until following morning or noon time.

In terms of performance, build quality, specs, will pretty much equalize to other brands top performance (and really expensive) phones. This way, everything is saved under google, your calendar, contacts and even the apps you install. I own this phone and it is just the best phone ever, no problems so far :).   • It is a great mobile regarding its price, I got it from 3 days and test 3G, WIFI and bluetooth which was great in performance due to Octa-Core. And watching a 4K resolution video was pretty good. The auto-brightness of it is bad so you need to set brightness by yourself when watching a video or playing a game. I was afraid of battery before buying it, but the battery stands for two days doing phone calls and heavy internet browsing(Wifi & 3G).(which is fair to me) Next test will be games as I didn't play any game on it till now.

  • Hey guys, I accidentally put my huawei earphone into washing machine. When I realized, it's already washed for hours. When I try to test it out, it sounds like recorded soundfrom tv. Then I read articles regarding this issue, it says never test it out, or else it's fried.   • Im going to assume that your question was that the phone is supposed to support a microSD up to 64GB, and is giving you some troubles, whereas you tried with a 32GB and is working fine. Try to format the memory using the PC, im using a Honor 3X with a class 10 64GB Sandisk Ultra and is working like a charm.

Anyone who already bought and used this phone for some time, could you please help with this info on how does it fare with the battery endurance? How long does the battery lasts you and what are your usage patterns? I mean something like this would be very helpful: "This phone's battery usually lasts me for two days. During this time I mostly have my 3G connection "ON", but Wi-Fi, Bluetooth are mostly "off".   • Are you sure about the otg function? Did you run programs like usb host diagnostics from Google play or usb host controler or Total commander???? Some mobiles need software to activate the otg function. I ask because the only reason i haven't buy this phone of the pro version is that i need otg. Some sites said that supports otg. If anyone can give me an answer (responsible). Even in huawai in Greece they don't now about it. I will visit a shop in 2 days to test it my self if it is possible but i dont think that they will me allow to open and test my cable to a new phone. Thank you all.

  • The official specs doesn't say that it supports GLONASS and it doesn't either. But the GPS works quite good (for a GPS without GLONASS). To others who asked, OTG is not supported and the maxiumum MicroSD size according to official specification is 32 GB.

  • Got my Honor 3x last week. Before that I was using Samsung Mega 6.3 and I found that Honor 3x is much more less weight and performance is better than Mega 6.3. I love it as it also support dual sim as I have 2 numbers and it is really a headache for me before whenever I want to go out as I have to bring 2 phones and with Honor 3x, I only have to take one. The camera is great especially the front camera. Overall, is a nice phone to use if you don't care of their are China company, having budget and looking for a high performance, big screen phone. Will be hanging on with this phone for a long time.

  • Yes. The sides are brushed, something like HTC One M8. I got the black version, the back cover is something like Samsung Note 3, a textured leather type of feel. No heating issues at all. Be it gaming or browsing the app. I tend to limit no background process running and kill all apps after using it. Signals are really good for both wi-fi and data. I'm using 3G here in Singapore and its really fast.

  • Hi, I've not tried using the navigation or google maps yet. So I'm not able to tell you the pros and cons for it. As for sensors, it has much lesser sensors as compared to my Xperia ZL. It has accelerometer, proximity, light, magnetic field and orientation sensors. (Checked using CPU-Z from the Playstore). Yes, it does consist of auto brightness. Minimal brightness was good enough for me. Pretty decent to read text or see images. Speakers seems good, may be due to the DTS technology. Even at lowest volume, the music or game play sound is pretty loud and crisp. Yes. The battery is removable. Battery life is great too. Unplugged my phone at 0800 at around 97%. Connected to my house wi-fi all the time. Played games, send whatsapp messages, facebook messages, update apps on playstore, view instagram, check gmails. At around 2300, I'm still left with 50% of battery juice. Hope this helps and answer your questions. Cheers!

  • Just got my 3X yesterday after using my Sony Xperia ZL for 8 months. The 3X is a pretty snappy device, with no lags at all I would say, all thanks to the 2GB RAM and octa-core processor. It's definitely a better device than my ZL, where my ZL will have occasional lags when multi-tasking. Tried antutu benchmarks and got a score of 27000+, it out performs my ZL in all aspects on the benchmarking except for the 3D section. Really happy with the purchase.   • I got the phone a few days ago. Super smooth, I don't see anything better at this price (300E in Greece). Octa-core is very fast. I am under the impression that the screen lacks luminosity but maybe it has to do with power saving. Definitely worths the money. I had a Haipai i9220 before that (it was 5.3'', dual core 1GhZ, MediaTek) and it seems so inferior now. Check benchmarks on the internet, they should come out now. There are some unofficial benchmarks already!

  • This is great phone for the money and the battery life is superb lasts me 2 days with moderate use before needing charging.Mine is rooted with original EMUI rom google apps installed and seems to handle whatever you can throw at it.Couple of issues are google contacts sync does not work just get an error message (contact sync is not working but will be back shortly).Tried a few things found on google but they did not work to fix this so i imported a v card from google desktop on the pc. Signal seems to be ok until you pick the phone up and then it drops which is ok while you are outside but indoors can drop out completely which is very annoying. GPS is good locks within 5 seconds and the clarity of phone calls is very good overall i would give this phone 8.5 out of 10

  • Over all this is again a phone usual you pay thats you get .At first the fw that that phone comes the wireless did not work correctly (pings 300-400 on gw),resolved after a few hours searching for another oficial fw(update did not change the problem).The camera is a big crap , compared to a 5MP camera from samsung (s7562) it beats the crap out of it, so don't buy the phone for the camera it's a mess. Another problem is the +0 or without +0 phone numbers , if you have a phone number with +0(1,2,3,4 does hoth mater) and the number comes back without it the phone number will not be recognized from phone book.It's a common huawei crap.. Over all buy this phone if youre not using it for pictures , over all it beats the s3 octa-core. And it's not dual sim active/active (if you are in a call the other sim will be off). The battery leats around 2 days (heawy usage ,wireless,3g on , games, calls).

  • In our country Myanmar,huawei is the best selling brand .No huawei have 90% market share in myanmar smartphone marker.Smasung si struggling to rival huawei because Smasung smartphones are very expensive than huaweis'.For example ,you can get huawei G 610s at 145000kyats(Kyat is mayanmar currency unit) but samsung galaxy grand can cost you 270000kyats.It is a bit different in price category.G610s used quadcore cpu and galaxy grand does dualcore cup.In specs wise ,Huawei is better than samsung.Today many smartphones out there.samsung phones were made in Vietnam but huawei were made in china.I found one comment that note 2 is better than honor 3x.note 2 screen was Super AMOLED and that if your note 2 screen is broken , you will replease it with new one thant can cost you 180000kyats which is more higher value than mid-range quadcore new smartphone.I think only produce SUPER AMOLED SCREEN that is better bright color than OTHER LCD SCREEN.Samsung cheated the world that they are using octacore Cpu in S4,Note 3 but in true they nailed two quadcore cpu.It is a shame that MEDIATEK IS PRODUCING true octacore.Because of the samsung Mediatek use the word TRUE OCTACORE.There are now many octacore phones in the market among huawei honor 3x.I hope I would use HUAWEI HONOR 3X soon.I wanna know the time huawei 3x arrive Yangon.

  • i really want to know what huawei thinks. look at this phone, every thing is great but the lcd which should be 1080p but they want to release it with 720p, so why should i change my note 2 with this one when the only pros is the cpu?

  • I've used huawei phones and these phones allow users to install apps on external sd card unlike sony or samsung.I personally used a 16 gb card to store the data of gta 3,real football,fifa 14 etc heavy games. So 8gb internal storage is not a problem at all.

  • Viewing angles are bad. Colors look different when we see it from sides. Its ordinary Capacitive display, not IPS display. Forget this and wait for other Octa core phones.

  • Not everyone play those games you mentioned, as there are plenty of phones out there with even lesser ROM storage.

  • ROM 8G total is so narrow for hd games.some hd games such as REAL RACING 3,ASPHALT 8 only run on internal ,thus only 8g internal storages is not enough.

  • Hi,dears.Happily Huawei ascending again thouph there is no news about internal memory!Design,performance is high above avarage!Price with respect with good quality and 5.5inches size is acceptable,cpu is fine,cameras are premium!Price is almost$250 depending to the place!For sure it comes down slashly as the costume of Huawei!In my opinion it is a good mid-range smartphone and the fair people should not expect the qualities and quantities of the high-end phones like note3,lg g2,iphone5s,and the new announced super high-technology top phones!?I read that somebody bought it for$200!In some countries like Pakistan and Iran about 3months from now,costumers are able to buy the new affordable mid-range phones!My dear friends as you may know accessing to phones mostly depends to the policy of the merchants and Huawei that they usually keep it undisclosed!I wish the better and best for the manufacturers,costumers,pros,cons,and all the honest gsm factwriting!Thanks+good luck in good choice in this free enviornment!

  • As you posted twice I feel I should respond. "for a large screen phone... the HD resolution is outdated!" 1080p eats 30% more battery life than 720p. There is barely any noticeable viewing difference from the 2 formats when compared side by side. It was decided to go for battery life and not have the customer 'Tethered' to a power outlet. 3Hr use time for a modern phone is ridicules. Hail the LENOVO P780 with a 4000mAh battery! Good choice the 720p with the 3000mAh battery, as most others using this chip only have a 2200mAh+/- battery and use the 1080p. I would hope for 2 days of full use before charging. Hopefully they offer the phone with QHD for further battery savings.

  • Everybody complaine about mediatek cpu but my mtk based china mobile perform far smoother than samsung mega 5.8, s dues, gs2, and other midrange samsung phone from last 9 monthas withaout any lag and hanging problem and surprisingly touch is very accurate far better than my previous phone samsung grand and mega 5.8. i can't compare my phone with sony ir lg or htc bcouse i never try those phone but my phone is far better than samsungs any midrange phone and i bought it at $200 approx only.

Buddy, please check the parts in your Samsung and see for yourself, they are made in China like any other phones in the world. Its not the make but the after Sales service that is important. Does this phone have good after sales service through out the world. I have Heard that Samsung After Sales service is as bad as China Phones?

  • A Mediatek even in quad core runs more cooler than a Qualcomm processor, although preformance wise they are neck to neck. heating drains the battery and also kills the phone in more than one way. hence Mediatek is much better than Qualcomm.

  • It will work in other countries if your network band is mentioned. For 2G network, 900/1800 and for 3G network 2100 Mhz is needed in most countries. US, Canada and some countries have different bands like 850, 1900 Mhz etc.
