  • root it and look for a custom Cyanogen mod 13 ROM (marshmallow) i found one with overclock, and marshmallow can format your SD to use it as an extension of your internal memory. I was trying that ROM but my sensation display stopped working.

  • This is the best mobile I ever used. I bought 4 years back but still working very nice. Of-course changed battery once, other than that every thing is good! Gorilla Glass is highly impressive. I didn't use screen guard from past 4 years, still there is no single mark on screen. Because of old OS version and less internal memory I'm changing my phone now.

  • I have had the sensation phone sense 2011 been a good phone, conference mic is way to hard to hear but other then that satisfied. AS OF TODAY IT'S A worthless 2g smart phone. Customer with this phone will no longer get 4g as of July 15th today, and that is correct now it a 2g, there offering a free smart phone Alcatel Astor or a 100.00 credit for a new one. After looking into the freebie phone the phone only has 5mp camera and other things the are not as of equal to the sensation. What a disappointment we should get an upgrade not a down grade, Been a T-Mobil customer for 11yrs now considering a change.

  • I have had my HTC Sensation for 3 years now..although I would like to upgrade to something newer..I really don't need to..my phone is still functional and it really does take great pictures...I always get compliments on my photos,,the battery life isn't that great especially if your always on the web like myself ..but the advantage is the ability to switch out your battery which is what I do..I have an external battery charger I got off Amazon for less than 10 bucks and I have 2 extra batteries so with my heavy use of my phone if I'm unable to charge I at least have 2 days of power from the 3 batteries...I guess its time to backup my phone so I can see how much longer I can use it :) also the D30 case is a must ..definately protects the phone

  • Bought mine back in 2011 and it still works flawless and awesome..Tweaked and modded it to the core, Ended up trying just about every ROM out there for the Senny..Still a pretty solid device in my opinion..And yeah for the battery life there are quite some cool workarounds that gave me some great battery life..Anyone who still owns one should definitely try the CM10.2 ROM or the Sense 6 (ViperS) ROM for this device, if you do know how to mod ur phone..

  • you can only update to kitkat via custom rom...mine is running on sulta rom kitkat 4.4.2....the easiest way is to download goo manager from playstore and download the rom and gapp file thru it

  • Even i faced the same issue. But got the solution from HTC Service centre itself. This is existing issue with battery not fitting gripply with the phone. Keep a piece of paper beneath the place where the battery rests over the Phone. Some batteries fix loosely to the phone, which causes these issues. This worked for me.

  • Onto my fifth handset from my network provider, phone decides to shut itself off even when i have a full battery and then when it finally comes back on after 3-4 attempts it says 2% battery. I have todo a hard reboot on the phone and leave power off for 5 minutes then it comes back on with full battery. the only time it will fully function is when it is on charge!!! Joke of a phone sort it out HTC!!!

  • rubbish! had problems ever since I bought it and two years later, it won't function without being plugged into a charger! hurrendous and laggy, glitchy and will randomly call people in the day, turn itself on, be slow, both cameras gradually get worse, worst battery life I've ever come across! It would delete my pictures randomly and die after a minute of usage from full battery, my mobile network would still be turned on leading to an extended charge and too high a tariff in my opinion. £37 a month is more than an iPhone, won't be buying another htc.

  • Its a very good phone and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to most dual core phones. the battery life with a htc battery is poor however if you get the gold 2450MaH battery it lasts a day and a half at least. and they only cost about £10

  • This is a great phone at this price. using it since more than a year, Phone looks sturdy unlike samsungs cheap plastic. HTC UI is user friendly, customer support is excellent.Camera is 8MP, however it performs OK surely you cant compare it with Sony.Havnt feel any lag so far, using more than 100 apps, only concern which i have come across is Battery Life, wish it had atleast 2000 battery, rest you can buy this phone and i m sure you can use it for years. thanks

Dead pixels, very slow, and have a lot of problems whit sense and android, very often get slow and brokedowne, restarts...   • Check if your proximity sensor is working, if it's not, then the screen doesn't turn off during call and it causes heat and battery drain.

  • Not impressed by this phone. This is my second HTC and it will randomly restart in the middle of using my phone. The battery doesn't keep up with the constant use of the phone. Camera really isn't that great. Isn't very fast, needs more RAM. Overall, I wouldn't buy another HTC and am ready to upgrade. I think I'll be trying the new Samsung Galaxy S4.

  • This phone ABSOLUTELY.SUCKS. I had to get FOUR replacement phones already within 2 months. The phone doesn't stay on unless it's on the charger. It randomly shuts off. It takes forever to turn on. The charger doesn't fit correctly in the port, so I have to shove it, just so I can use it. The phone stays on for maybe...5 minutes then it turns off. I called the company multiple times and they keep sending new ones, even worse than the ones before. I absolutely would not recommend this phone to ANYBODY. Let alone , T-Mobile.   • There is no official JB for the sensation. HTC announced only phones with 1GB of RAM or more would be considered for updates the sensation falls short of this. There is plenty of unofficial support for JB however no Sense UI and some stability issues particularly with chrome.

  • I had the same problem, turns out the battery was made too small for the phone. If you open up the back you will notice the connector pins go in only half way, so the phone crashes and resets itself, easy fix. Place a small folded piece of card in the space at top right of the battery, as you push it in, the pins connect fully. Ive had no problems since.

  • to all the people that are complaining about the phone being slow, id recommend u to install a ROM called "arhd". I have installed This rom and i havent had a issue since. Turn off Wifi when ur not using it, reduces battery usage a lot

  • Terrible phone. Battery life is shockingly bad (even with screen dimmed and WiFi off). After one year of use, it has had both the screen and motherboard replaced, and this has not really helped. It is.continuously resetting itself, rebooting, has sent probably 20 error reports.to HTC for.severe crashes. Do not buy this phone, it is.nothing but a headache.

  • My HTC has been back 3x for repair within 4 months of having it as it kept doing random things after using camera it would re-boot itself contintually switching off then back on! Continually sending to HTC error report. Also battery is rubbish and people other end of phone cannot hear me very well. Also now lost Wifi connection for some reason so going back to repair centre AGAIN!! Have to keep restoring factory settings and this still does not resolve problems.

That's what I use since September last year. with minimal internet use, it can last for three days after cherge, even if you use the internet for six hrs a day still you recharge it the next day. note: when ever you are not using the net, make sure that the internet connection is off. use "go power master "application as a battery saver. please enjoy your sensation with the above advice.

  • Well, I've been using it for a year now, and up to now, the only real issue is the battery, one you turn the auto mode on the screen brightness, you will see the battery melt away in day, add a bit of wi-fi and 3G strain to that and you will have to recharge it by the end of the day. I've adjusted my settings under my needs and it lasts me 1.5-2 days. Along the way i've also noticed a few OS glitches, the phone will simply restart... or i take it out of the pocket and it's turned off, which is weird, 'cause I didn't switch it of when I slide it in. Other than that, the phone can be used for pretty much anything, navigation, traveling, web browsing with ease and pleasure, youtube, whatever, i gave it a 3.5 out of 5, due to battery issues and occasional OS glitches...

  • I use this phone ,it is very good looking ,and HTC SENSE is amazing,but the problem is that HTC SENSE is very heavy,yes it is really nice looking and functionality ,but more graphics means more power killer and more RAM& CPU usage,all that things get the phone slower and battery life shorter (life per single charge), so try to use GSM instead of 3G ,but if you using your phone for watching youtube videos ,or downloading many files (using the network packet data instead the wifi ,so its better to let the 3g connection bcz switching from 2g to 3g (or 3g to 2g as well) eats power for searching the signal. try to put the nessissary widgets only on the descktop and avoid unnessissary ones wich very graphical looking and not very important may this help you ...

  • Do not buy an htc phone...ever! I've held an htc phone (sensation) recently and within 2 weeks the volume keys broke. The Battery life is poor and durability is bad. Performance is good though. Also HTC has bad service VERY VERY BAD service. I've been to service centers and in short service is bad. Also after the warranty is gone and your parts break, it would be very expensive to replace a lcd screen or a motherboard or any other part because it would be to expensive. It would even be more expensive than the phone itself. For example motherboard would cost you 200$ + 25$ for service. So HTC wasn't able to fix my phone right. so I went to this other repair shop and they were able to fix it for just 25$. Turns out it was a software problem. Stupid HTC all they want is profit they'll try to fool you when they have a chance... In short DO NOT BUY an HTC phone go buy a Nokia lumia for durability and simplicity. Or a xperia for an android phone also samsung for durability but kinda slow

  • HTC Sensation was great when it was first released, then it went down hill from there. Every Android update will fix some and kill some functions on top of system slow down after every update. I have very very few apps on my HTC Sensation (10 apps) so the slow down should not be due to my apps. Problems I've had so far after using HTC Sensation for 13 month: GPS does not turn off after you close the app (e.g. Google map) thus making the phone overheat and restart, Touchscreen fails when receiving a call, phone unlocks without using the "slide to unlock" from the unlock screen, it takes 5 seconds to load up your contact list and another 5 seconds to make a call after you select the contact to call, unbearable lag when opening any system related apps, phone sometimes randomly heats up when no apps are running, LCD sometimes won't light up when phone wakes up from idle/standby and requires several retries before it works, phone hangs during app update, random restarts during calls or even when the phone is on standby/idle... These are the more frustrating problems with HTC Sensation. I have the Samsung S3 and Google Nexus phones therefore I know the problem is NOT associated with the Android OS, but rather the poor implementation / fixes by HTC. Decent hardware for it's time, but HTC is terrible at getting it's software fixed. In short, all the underlying problems I've encountered are problems arising form HTC's implementation and not the OS itself. If you are looking for an Android phone... anything is better than HTC. Even if the hardware is state-of-the-art, it will be totally useless if the OS does not function like it should.

  • I am Using this phone since 15 months or so, this gadget is truely a masterpiece, tell me a thing which Quad-core processor phones can do, and Sensation doesn't, shame this phone is made by htc, who forgets their flagship phones and update each phones twice or maximum thrice times, i don't think htc will update it to JellyBean just coz if they do, htc thinks people will not buy newer phones, thanks to xda devs, we are running fully working JB in our Sensation, which is also a big shame for htc, just like Desire HD users are running fully functional ICS courtesy xda devs, but for HTC Sensation, i'm not seeing any need of upgrading phone, gaming runs like a charm, camera is brilliant, speedy, responsive, fluent, a true dual-core phone, sound quality is very poor out of the box, but root it and flash beats mod and xLOUD from xda, and there you go, just root this phone and you'll have everything! Battery life is ok, not too good, but buy anker 1900mah battery, and your phone will have lots of juice to run longer! Perfect phone by all means and even better after rooting, and few modifications.

  • I seriously doubt it. HTC has really dissapointed this time around. I trusted them to provide steady updates for their flagship phones for at least a year.   • I have used this phone for a while, used SGS2, ARC S before this, however this seems to be better than all. 1) Built quality is far better than any other smart phone, u take this phone in hand once n u will feel the difference. A real Metallic body makes u feel something in hand. 2) Processor : Dual core 1.2 Ghz,u using 251 Apps as of now on my phone and still this phone hasnt hanged for second. Great processor. 3) Screen : Responsive n smooth. No problems. 4) Battery: I have noticed people complain , however let me tell you none of the phone in this segment has great battery life, but u can use Juice defender to increase battery life. I can surely say this has great performance in comparison to Arc S. You can extend battery life by decreasing brightness of the screen n screen timeout. However a day back up is good enough. Camera : 8 MP camera performs as per expectation. Use Pixlr o Matic to add more functions. Conclusion : A great phone to use, i m sure it will held ur head high. though i dnt see this phone to used by women, women rather use SGS2 ;)

  • I have had the sensation for about 2 weeks everything is amazing but the battery if handled properly can last you up to 1 and a half days worth of mild use. The ICS update just makes it even better.   • I hate this phone. I got it for my upgrade and not even 24 hours later it was overheating and shutting off just using it. Called tmobile, my provider, and they said they haven't heard that problem and would give me a new one for free. So I did that and needless to say I haven't had this phone a year yet and it overheats to the point where touching it hurts. What's the point of a smart phone if you can't use it. It freezes up all the time and will restart itself. I've gone through many chargers because after a couple months the connection isn't working plus now my battery is draining really fast. Even just sitting in my purse. I will never recommend this phone to anyone. Worst money spent in my book. But sadly I'm still over a year from my upgrade. But if the phone keeps up I might just spend all the money for a new one. I love HTC, have never had a problem but this phone has a lot of kinks they need to work out.

  • from another forum, i had the same problem f you open up the back cover of the Sensation and you look at the battery, you'll notice that the bottom side of the battery is slightly angled. This causes the battery to not be in full contact with the four pins that are attached to the Sensations case. If you pull the right top side of the battery a little down, you'll notice that the battery will make a better connection with the four pins. So for me the problem was solved by putting something in between the top right of the battery and the casing. I've used a business card (I knew saving those would pay of at one time) and tore of the rest that was sticking out. It's been fine ever since.

  • I've always been upgrading from one HTC phone model to another, latest one I had was the HTC desire S, which was an amazing experiance, but only draw back was the battery, but now I updagraded to a Sensation, and I totally regret the decision, couldn't find a single improvement on the software side, slower than the desire, navigation is not consistent, regular force close of apps and system shut down and wouldn't work unless you remove the battery.. bottom line, be careful when making a decision, should have gone with the Samsung Galaxy SII or SIII phones.

  • Guy, you gotta root the phone and then put some custom ICS rom > then you have a beast. They are working on porting Jelly Beans at the moment. I have tried the Jelly beans (JB) and gotta tell ya, it's like buttery smooth. When I say buttery smooth, I mean BUTTERY SMOOTH. Only thing is that on JB you will not get any flash coz Adobe stop making flash for mobile platforms. Current version of JB for Sensation, the front facing camera is not working, but i can live with it. Hope I helped guys... Sensation rocks. btw, don't worry if you drop the phone or have dent on the body, the whole body is the battery lead and you can buy one with 15$ (ebay) any you have a brand new phone again (as long as you don't crack the screen) :)

  • Stock battery not good at all. Try the Anker1900 or Sensation XE you will get 2 days with moderate usage. Hope this help, I changed my stock battery already..

  • I really love this phone. Yes it does go flat faster than anything I have every owned before. Plan to charge it every night. It's basically a web browsing computer on a plan. Pros; you will eventually work everything out and do most anything you want on the net or phone. Largish screen/phone. It has to be if you want to see anything on a web browser. Most things to add to it are now available free or cheap via the net on the phone. Cons; zaps you if you use it on charge. Must be charged at least daily, sometimes twice a day with heavy games, speaker and net use. Because it does everything your teenagers will want to borrow it all the time when they haven't finished their homework and chores. Love it.

  • You must be getting the update by following these steps. Go to settings -> About phone -> software updates -> check now. If this doesn't work, you can visit any of the nearest HTC service centre for a manual update at free of cost.

  • guys i just purchased a sensation xe battery(1720 mah) for my sensation....and its great...its backup is much better tahn than the original(1520 mah) battery...and i purchased from HTC service centre in noida.it was only for Rs450(damn cheap).with the original battery i got a backup of 15 hrs while playing only music but with this i got a backup of more than 23 hrs of continous music.

  • You can try hard reset and periodical restarts thereafter, this will improve the performance a little bit for sometime. Another peculiar issue which I faced yesterday was low device memory, the data shows and I have approx 130 MB free memory but device did not download a 3.5 MB wallpaper. I had to restart the phone and the wallpaper downloaded immediately. It seems hard reset and periodical restarts are the only solution to to keep your phone to bare minimum manageable performance.

  • The ICS update destroyed my phone. I had to do a factory reset on it and wipe it clean to have a usable phone again. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself NOT to upgr.... I mean DOWNgrade to ICS.

I guess what has happened is that after ICS update the phones which were performing badly on GB have improved but the ones which were performing blazingly fast on GB have become slow. A half baked update by HTC I must say. Truly disappointed by the piecemeal effort by HTC. No quality control whatsoever... Please help if anyone has a solution to this!!!

  • The 4.0 update for android in HTC sensation is a milestome i guess..... the ram usage has considerablt reduced when compared to 2.3 Also the themes and all backgrounds are all blackish now... the folder option in the home screen is good and they have removed the annoying arc shaped phone button now... camera has a panorama and stock android smileys have been changed too... the power+vol down button takes a screen shot now... and the gallery opening time has reduces a lot... best part is that all my apps that were in 2.3 were in place when updated to 4.0 and thats awesome .. love it :) all together there has been some performance tweeks in 4.0 love it love it love it....

  • 1 week after ICS update on HTC Sensation 1) battery life increased(10% for me) 2) face unlock, good but unlock time increased(2-3 secs) 3) multitasking, long press home key shows you all running apps, and what is currently running inside it... love this feature. Also swap the application right or left and it is closed... good work 4) launching home screen from any running app is speedy now(in GB 2.3 for me it was taking 5-6 secs to show home screen icons after I pressed home button) 5) All apps tab - scrolling is still page wise as like in GB.. HTC please improve on this. 6) take more time to find out desired setting than GB, where everythig was shown in single screen 7) New widget from HTC for facebook chat, no third party app is req for FB chat now :) 8) MOST important for me - I can see the MARATHI font in facebook......... thanks a TON for this HTC (in GB it was showing only square boxes) 9) sense 4.0 would have been provided, as sense 3.6 don't allow circular scrolling of home screens. So in all it is not GREAT but yes definately good than GB Hope to see more tunning from HTC on ICS available in India

  • I got rooted and S-Off after got bored with getting delay from HTC India's ICS Upgrade...After that day My Sensation is Like a Bomb.. Changed the Rom to VipersS 1.0.1 And You can't believe that Phone is Like a Powerhouse with 1.5GHz Kernel & ICS 4.0.3 with Sense 4.0 Battery Improved a LOTTTTTTTT....And Performance's Like MORE THAN HTC ONE X... TOTALLY Happy With My Desicision.... :) :) :)

Oh yeah and much more juice in battery and not to mention the excellent feedback in any light condition, because of the real keyboard. The only better thing is the internet experience because of the CPU and that is all.

  • other wise the ICS update is great for sensation.in ICS the power saver option has also been removed from the quick settings menu.to turn on the wifi a step has increased.message app is a bit slow(but i think it is just for me only bcoz i have more than 5k msgs on ma fone).some very cool animations are there.camera app has improved a lot.burst mode clicks 5 pictures.overall i would rate it as 8 out of 10...2 marks deducted bcoz sometimes i feel it's a bit laggy.but no matter HTC would soon come with more smoothening of the ICS.

  • yes definitely the performance has improved.but 1 thing that i found that it now takes more time to open the settings tab.when u press it...sometimes it feels a bit laggy.other thing i noticed was that the camera now opens faster and if ur fone is locked.u can open the camera directly from the 4 shortcut keys.

  • HTC Sensation always gave me a problem with the battery that it never last too long but after i install the update of the ICS back on May 16th the problems increase at that very same moment! The phone battery goes crazy! The phone turns off & on & i need to use the charge for the phone to turn on completely. Also, it shows that battery is extremely low & when i re-start it with the charger attached it shows more than the half of battery. It's ridiculous! Sometimes i can't even make a call because it shuts off & starts the little game on turning itself on & off. I can't even use any application because it turns itself off. I've try to restore the phone and loose almost everything & still is giving me a hard time. Please, if somewhere knows what is wrong with this phone please post it here. Thanks in advance!

  • hey guys, I am using my sensation after updating to ics from almost 10 hours and I am loving it like never before. performance improved by almost twice in linpak & nena mark 2 benchmark and morethan 20 % in quadrant . touch is smoother and definately improved browser speed. I haven't checked the wify, and if it is working then I don't think there are any bugs whatsoever for me............ go for the update...... u'll like it. great work done by our HTC......

  • 1. Clear any apps if you have to manage battery. 2. Use 'battery monitor' app, to check what are ll apps draining the battery and clean that. 3. Dont keep apps minimized for long time. 4. Use Ac power supply to charge. Don use USB charging. 5. I can say these bcoz im using the mob, n i'm able to have 30-50% of charge at the end of 24 hrs aft charge, (on moderate use)

  • Hi Guys, From last 2 weeks i am facing a very annoying problem with my phone; restarting after a few mins once the WIFI is turned on. The phone works fine on 3g al day but once i get home and connect to my wifi the problem starts. When WIFI is switched on, the phone connects and disconnects from the signal a few times. The connection becomes stable after a min or so, But usually after 10 - 15 mins of browsing it just restarts without any warning. After restaring it connects back and the same issue surfaces again. Any1 facing the same issue?. The phone is on Gingerbread 2.3.4. I called customer care and they asked me to do a factory reset. I did that, but a same issue resurfaced after a couple of hours. Please let me know if there is anyway to get past this.

  • Couple of weeks ago i posted about poor battery experience i had with my sensation. I was ready to buy a mungen battery, when suddenly my battery went from 20 hours up to 70ish. I think the battery loading cycle ended, and battery went super resistant. What i did was draining battery till 0% and then loading it up to 100% after couple of weeks, battery can be used now for 3 days, i uses emails, little browsing, phone and take couple do photos, so moderate use. I also installed battery juice app, and use my internet plan instead wifi for net browsing. I think if you proper format the battery cycles it will help battery to work for 2-3 days, as charging battery every 16-20 hours it;s not a good perspective.

  • This is standard BS reply from HTC India. You will not have any update in July as well since they have launched One S in India in June which is similar to HTC Sensation with no significant incremental upgrade except for ICS with Sense 4.0. Even the processor is old gen Snapdragon and not the Krait core one. If at all HTC decides to roll out update it will be not before October to ensure good sales of HTC One S in India.

  • hey i have owned both and the evo3D is still the best and smoothest phone i have owned. I did not have any wifi problems with my sensation 4G for the 7 months i had it. It is your choice but they run about the same speed and they are both smooth with apps...way smoother than my galaxy infuse 4G or galaxy s vibrant and i have an HTC Raider now and i still miss my Evo 3D. Good luck with your choice and you will definitely be happy with either phone and u will love htc sense...it is the best.

  • I got it 1 month Back. Stable and good phone it never hung.Battery back up is really a probelem if you continuesly brows or play video. Call recording is not possible if you are not activating speaker phone as of now I could not find any software for normal call recording. Overall I am really happy with the phone.

  • My experience with HTC sensation has been good so far, i got last month. The only things about that annoys me is, that the USB-input is on the side of it, where i would prefer it were on top of the phone. It may not be the easiest phone to use, but the more you explore the phone the easier it'll be. I've read some opinions on other sites, and i read about one who thought the camera in the phone is bad. That's not apart of my experience, i think the camera in the phone is pretty good according to it's an mobile camera. well, the battery time also bugs me alittle, but that'll be something that might be able to be fixed in an system-update.

  • Hi If you have ICS just press and hold the HOME button and you will see the running apps. Just tap and slide to the side and you will kill the app. It's even better than the tasks killers or something else.

  • I upgraded from HD2 to Sensation ( with ICS from factory - and it has facelock for those who asked). Nice phone but battery is not up to phone needs. Cannot get 24hour on moderate use, emails and calls only. HD2 battery was up to 3 days with same use, also had same screen size. I dont know why HTC dont make larger batteries as the original battery sucks. everything else is nice, but you can use the phone if you have no power :(

  • Hi Jakecc, There should be some hardware problem with your device. I used to play temple run every day about 2 - 3 hours, I don't see any over heating at all. Neither with charging also.

  • I agree. I use Easy Battery Saver as well. It really does lengthen your battery life. It reduces use with aspects of the phone that are infrequently utilized. I recommend this app to any and all who have trouble with battery life. It is a must have.

Its better to release a stable build even at the end of month will also be fine instead of buggy one which needs some more updates to fix those issues.   • Just updated to ICS 4.0.3 and Sense UI 4 this phone rocks only glitch is bluetooth hangs but ok will rectify that with.The screen looks beautifull

  • i hav a battery problem,i fully charge it and leave it a while but when i check it the battery was 10% lessen,does live wallpaper affect the battery life?and from time to time my sensation keeps on flashing only to find out there's no notification or even messages received at all,please help me thanks:))

  • Even on 3G network,Default video call is not integrated in Phone through your carrier. Only Apps like Tango & Skype can Perform Video call.

  • having this phone for over 2month , and have red all of the problems the others mentioned, and I can say yes, some of the problems happens to my phone too. when I bought this phone my friend suggested me to change the rom if i want better performance, I didnt take it , but after one week i had problems with pulling the unlock ring, lagging,force stops (sime times), battery problem and even sometimes restarting with no good reason, after that I start seraching for different roms and launchers and after about one week i costumized my phone the way I wanted,with cyanogenmod 7 and tsf launcher, and now after 6 weeks I found this phone awesome:) everything is much much much much more smooth,fast and enjoyable,the phone itself is superb, but htc should work on its original ROMs and HTC sense must work harder to avoid lagging or any bugs not to happen in coming htc sense versions. And about ram I have always 300-350mb free ram, try cyanognmod 7 to find out im right;)

  • Never had death grip issues for 5 months now. BTW regarding RAM, on "develop option" I set the "background process limit" to "at most 4 processes" which is the max option we have. my phone now is more responsive and my RAM is never below 100, it's around 150 - 200. Please try this and share your opinion. Thanks!

  • Ram would be no issue. The phone itself runs great. As for the death grip issue. As said by a great person " you need to learn how to hold your phone properly". Death grip issue is no big deal if you know how to hold a phone properly. :)

  • Take a moist mint leaf and place it on your battery. It keeps the battery cool and increases the battery life a little. Or you could always purchase another battery.

  • If you have bought your phone from India and the handset is not been imported from outside by the vendor then you got a beta version which was poped up for some few users. Thats ICS beta version htc has released for end user testing and will be releasing soon ics build ota in India officially.

  • Hi, i didnt bought from Saholic. I bought it from ebay ( i got 10% discount) Mine is July manufactured, it has death grip problem. But it appears only when you press hard on top of mobile, i won't be harsh on my phone, so no problem :D

  • Hi Friends I had bought sensation one month back. I too had lot of confusion for long time, which one to buy. I dared and took this. Now i am really happy with this handset and no regrets. It is satisfying me for all my needs. I was worried about battery before buying this, but it didnt matter me a lot after buying (atleast till now). Performanc wise also very satisfied (i am not a high end user). If you are not looking for very highend performance and ready to pay more than 20K bucks you can blindly go for this.

  • Hi Death Grip issue is a manufacturing defect. It was rectified in the units which were manufactured later after identifying this issue, so no problem. Before buying the unit check when it is manufactured ! Problem solved.

  • it is the best smartphone ever . the build quality is top notch the ui is very amazing esp...the weather application the loudspeaker is loud and clear display is bright and gives great resolution but blacks could have been better dual core n 1.2 ghz makes it a lot fast n it doest hang at all it is upgradble to ics 4.0 but still waiting in india touch screen is also good those who are confused between samsung gs2 n htc sensation then i would definantly recommend the sensation even gsmarena team also suggest n the best part is its price only 22.5 k

  • Hey Guys, I have a habit of changing mobiles regularly. In past 2 years I had used Blackberry, Iphone, SE Xperia x10, HP Veer 4G, HTC Wildfire, Motorola Defy+, HTC HD2 and now Sensation. Best user interface, great built quality and performance I experience is this beauty. . Only downside is screen display while exposed to bright light and speaker volume is bit low. Apart from that I definitely Suggest people who are buying new smart phone.

  • Only battery life is poor, if you use it fully it wont last more than 6-7 hours. But other than that it has no problem. No screen freeze, no death grip, i never experienced such issues. Audio quality on headphones is awesome, but for normal speakers, its so so.

  • After 1 month usage I found red dot on screen (visible only on black screen) it was not there earlier , does this happen with anyone ? And the speaker volume is pretty low , I can't hear my phone ringing in public ..

  • go to: SETTINGS> ABOUT PHONE> SOFTWARE UPDATES.. **this will look for all updates for your phone, if it is available in your country then it will ask you to update to ICS and the lastest HTC SENSE version

  • Hi Guys, I saw few people commenting that they have 2.3.6 on their Sensation, this gives me a worry sign as mine still says that it is 2.3.4, worrying thing is that whenever I check for the Software updates I do not get any. ^_^ Please suggest something.....Why I am not getting any updates.

  • the htc sensation and evo 3d are pretty much equals, this is the point where you decide essentially if you want a 3d camera with a lower quality, if so then go for the evo 3d but if you want a much better all-round 2d camera get the sensation. the desire hd and incredible s are much slower and no where near as good looking as the other two handsets, personally i would go with the sensation or the sensation xe if its in your price range as it is even faster and includes "beats" by dre headphones with a built in software based beats audio processor

  • Download Android booster(NetQin) and from there download its anti virus.AVG is good too. The links - - ­ - The Play Store would be a great sight to download free games.
