I've written this before but here's another one, If you are not satisfied with the auto modest then you have pro mode, where you can adjust parameters yourself and these are professional tools, ISO (50 to 3200), shutter speed (1/4000s to 8s) AF-MF, EV, AWB,and much more and most importantly is Night Shot mode that algorithmically stitches together multiple shots for a better-exposed low-light photo it is something that Google showed off recently with the considerably more expensive Google Pixel 3. Those long-exposure handheld photos the most expensive Huawei P and Mate phones can do, and that's what everyone owning an Honor 8X should be using to save the precious moments at night. Even professional photographers take 200-300 photographs from professional cameras (that cost a lot) ,to select 10 of them, you need knowledge, don't rush to shoot, make sure your light source is behind the camera, keep it calm while shooting, preferably lean on an object near you , and shoot 2-3 times and pick the best one, I wish you the best moments

I think yes I'm using it for almost a year now and I don't encounter any problem. The only thing that I don't like here is the camera. So if you want a better camera phone don't consider this. But overall I'm satisfied with this phone. My battery last for a day even on heavy use.

@pane: sometimes happens from some apps that icon is flagged with new notification. When I open app I don't see any notification and if I open app then is notification erased from list of notifications. I need to return to notification what was about. Mostly it happens for example in Curve app. The notifications history is quite a known thing, but seems apparently suppressed in 8X. Many devices having widget for notification history.

in seting, notification, you can set at your will, but normally let's say if you have a missed call or message or etc, when you open notification then the notification is gone. missed calls are marked in red and remain until you clear them, but the history for the notification, this is unknown to me, and I don't know what you would benefit from

Is Honor 8x having such pre-instaled Notification history viewer available? I haven't found any. I am using notification history viewers from Google play but mostly they don't work properly and randomly stop working. Currently I am using Vibo notification history but last notification is from 28th of September ... it works 2-3days and then stops to show new notifications.

I solved my issue with missing icon on camera. App HiVision had been disabled on my phone for unknown reason. Thank you guys for good hints. EMUI 9.1 should bring AR Measure feature. How to get it working on Honor 8X? It should be the app but is missing in app list. For Honor 8X- JSN - L21 First for color and mine is black unit and has the best appearance on the front but blue is the prettiest on the back because 16 canvases are best fused to light, for red I didn't have a chance. the rear glass is durable enough, but I recommend putting a silicone back cover that comes in the box, because glass is slippery but so is it for all new double sided glass phones. The display is gorilla glass 3 + COF and bright enough in the sun so you don't have to cover it to read and yes it support USB OTG. The sound is enough to talk 1m away from the ear and the speaker is good enough for music. battery life is very good for at least 2 days and there is option for ultra battery save mode which allows you in an emergency with an almost empty battery that you can talk for a very long time but the android goes off and is talk only. Android 9.1 update is great and much improved and android 10 (Q) is expected soon as Honor 8X is the first to get official confirmation. So you have to decide Is it worth to buy Honor 8X in 2019. my opinion is if i am buying a phone now, then i would definitely buy it again, good luck in your choice and if you choose it then come back with your opinion.

8X has a very aggressive memory management you need to disable it when you switch from one app to another it usually terminates the old one in order to allocate resources to the one you just launched. when you start downloading something like an app or a game but launch another app before the download finishes it might terminate the download particularly if it's not downloading it through the play store. go to settings and find "app launch". automatic app management should be on by default. DISABLE IT. and make sure the apps handling the downloads are allowed to run in the background.

Turn youtube app to dark mode and see if your display flicks or display waves on dark grey areas. It does this shitty thing i saw this on many l22 honor 8x display. Display doesn't handle grey well i dont know the reason. Run a grey screen test video it will do the same shitty wavy thing. I turned my keyboard grey and all keys float now 😭😂

I got my 8X in March. Likewise, I chose the 8X over other competing models (Redmi Note 7, etc.) because it had a metal and glass build. But since I use the case that came with it anyway, I couldn't appreciate the phone having a metal frame and glass back. I'm on the fence on not using a case since I drop my phone kinda often. Anyway, I'm kinda regretting not getting the Redmi Note 7 as I could have saved a few bucks, and could've gotten a better camera. Speaking of, having upgraded from Oreo to Pie, I've experienced a lot of stuttering with the camera app, but it has gone better over the few updates my device got. Overall, it's a good phone with remarkable battery life -- a good all-rounder for a decent price. I'm just not really happy with how EMUI looks, BUT I appreciate that despite being a midranger, it gets timely software updates unlike some big shot Korean manufacturer ehem sammy

L22 global middleeastern varient will be the last 8x's on the 🌏 to receive 🥧 update. I bought mine just last week from daraz mobile week at 30500 PKR but i regret the decision now i should had gone for the new y9 prime 2019 though it has its downers as well but at least it has the stable pie os pre installed. I choose 8x for its build over many 📱 in this range. As all of then were plastic. Thats the only good thing my honir 8x has. Yea it can play HD Netflix too unlike y9 prime 2019.

The first news about the update for Honor 8X comes from Macedonia and thus the update is already in Europe. Ok, the developer options itself wasn't the problem. The settings for animations was. I turned off animations in developer options menu and this made the dimming fast and noticeable. The screen dims without developer options/animations off, too, but very gradually and very hard to see. Can you help me again and disable animations (3 rows in the developer options menu) and then check again the brigtness (under 100%) from the menu to chrome? If you can't see anything changing this time, too, it means that they solved the bug in Pie.

Now advised the Premium handsets are priority. So I have to wait. Not considered urgent to upgrade a normal Mid range handset. Hard luck is the attitude. No security upgrades since Jan. Told. A50 has better display and more versatile camera, the 8x has glass and metal build, pretty even devices BUT huawei may not get android updates if you care. I would go for the A50 myself.

BUT everyone thinking about buying it, should be beware that it's slippery :) It will just slide of any surface not ABSOLUTELY flat! It will slip out from your pockets... And last but not the least it will slip out from your hand, as it happened to me as well.... Only thing which looks like a downgrade to me is Micro USB, while three year old Nova has USB type C. So yeah, does it really even matter considering everything else? However i feel that opening the camera is a major delay,it could take up to 2 to 3 sec bedore the camera opens. I face battery drain, hotter than before, after updating to pie. I do hard reset (becarefull you'll lose all data so make a backup before doing or you know what you do?), no significant drain or heat anymore, I can say now it's normal Yes, I should admit with last emui/oreo is more stable, just my feeling more stable with oreo. Some people might or might not agree with me, but I think the Honor 8x is better than the Huawei P20 Pro. I've had both phones, and I've noticed that the battery on the 8x seems to last longer, the handset itself seems faster, also, it has a much larger screen, a card slot and a 3.5mm jack. Of corse, the P20 Pro has superior cameras, but not everyone is into photography. I can honestly say, I'm happier using the Honor 8x, the only very bad thing is, there is no USB type C charging port, but it's manageable.

I have updated my JSN-L22 to android 9 pie about a week ago. at first I hesitate to update due to some people have higher battery drain than before. But after updating to pie I do not find that the phone is draining faster than usual. I still get over a day of normal use and sometime more. The only problem so far is that one of my favorite app, AccuBattery, crash since updated. I got the temporary fix from the developer of the app. but still need the real patch update. On the other hand, one of my game which did not work properly on android 8 oreo now working fine on pie. Well, these glitches are common and to be expected after any major update OS. I am still exploring new features on android pie and feeling positive about this update. I hope you find this useful.

I have it Honor 8x for 2 months and I say it is brilliant and rocket-high speed, quality made with a stylish design and look at the 1000 eur device who it come with aluminum frame and back cover with 15 canvas glass that shines in brightness and the screen is it's super clean with natural colors in full hd. Honor phones seem to have poor inconsistent with their quality control. I have gone through loads of replacements of the 8X and Honor Play & have now given up. Firstly i have had some models with poor screen quality like bad viewing angles,pale colours and dim brightness with terrible light bleed aswell. Replacement *X and Play phones were like a screen lottery,some were better than others. One had only slight screen bleed and others loads of it especially around the notch area. Also 2 Honor Play's had lines on the screen caused by static whenever i brushed my hand or fingers over the display. Colours on 3 Honor Play's were pale and poor brightness. The final one i had was much better in terms of colours and brightness but then the better one had awful screen bleed. It seems to be Honor are using cheap rubbish LCD's and the quality control leaves alot to be desired. As for the 8X 3 of those had blurry cameras,areas of the images would have blurry patches randomly. Goes to say,cheap for a reason. Crap

yesterday i updated my 8x on pie, everything works fluid, apps opens instant, multitasking is very good and without any lagg but i have this problem...when i go to facebook the app opens instant and it is quick but while i'm scrolling in the new feed it is somekind laggy, it looks like it's loading pictures and videos while i do the scroll, it was the same on oreo, i uninstalled the app clear cashe erase data of the app but the same happens again, does anyone have same issue? and the next thing is when i open messanger it loads app instant but the white screeen appears and the app interface opens compleate after 4-5 seconds...did the same uninstalled, clear cashe bla bla, same goes while been on oreo and now on pie... everything else works just fine and fluid and quck...i don't think it's the phone itself

Great phone, been using for 4 months alrdy, cool design, good performance, super camera, very fluid and no lags when multitasking. But one thing: DO NOT DARE TO UPDATE TO ANDROID 9, I REPEAT, DO NOT TRY TO UPDATE....... it will eat u immediatly 500-600 mb of ram and u will instantly feel lack in performance. On the 4gigs of ram version i ussualy had 2.2 to 2.4 gigs of free ram. After the update im 1.8 to 1.9 gb ram. Hi every body, I had bought this phone 2 weeks ago, I investigate several other candidates, but this one was the best. below is the problems that I see in the phone: 1. Slow mo video record is 480 fps, but it is not real, it is very slow and makes more frames with image-video frame processing. I compare its slow mo video record with my Iphone 6s Plus, if we suppose that Iphone score is 100, Honor score is 20! 2. No, I think the camera was good at this price~ Even the night mode was better than the other phones~ But, I was hope the software can produce bigger MP in Night Mode & AI Mode.. Just for information: Normal mode can reach 20MP. But when the AI on it can only produce 12MP. And if you use night mode, the resulting resolution is only 8MP.

Hey Just bought this phone a week before. My opinion so far.. Design : 9/10 Great aluminium body and phantom blue is looks awesome Display : 8/10 Looks fine but blacks are not deep and not so sharp as in OLED but somewhat satisfied. Bezel are slim as XS and CHIN i gotta tell you, its very thin compared to other same spec phones. Speaker : 7/10 Above average. Not too loud or too low. But definitely better than my old P10 lite Camera : 6/10 JUST AVERAGE. For me the camera is the weakest thing in this phone. Don't think that 20 MP is better than those 12 MP flagship camera's. It's not about how many MP the camera has. It depends on the sensor size and how well the SW works behind. Night shots below average where colors washed out and lack of details even in night mode. Daylight photos average as well where most of the pictures are out of focus even when i select the subject to focus. AI not helping much to improve the quality or details. Beauty mode effect still appears even when it off completely both in rear and front camera. Selfies producing decent image but beauty mode make it worst. Performance : 7.5/10 Kirin 710 is equal with SD 660 but it's Adreno who leads in GPU. The phone feels snappy and smooth but little lag here and there. Can play PUBG in HD HIGH settings with 30+fps. Phone get warmer but not worst. Battery : 8/10 Its last more than 4-5 hours with moderate gaming and internet browse in 4G. With 3750 mAh its should last longer at least more than 5 hours. Maybe Kirin 710 is not the best in optimize battery. It's based on my opinion folks. Hope it will useful for someone. AND if you want Xiaomi Note 7 pro or Honor 8X go for Mi mi then

Yes amar, the honor 8x phone will work to simple mobile service. Since the requirements for an unlocked phone to be activated to simple mobile needs the 850 and 1900 MHz bands. So this phone would really work on their network. ( I actually worked for them as a CSR)

So the Honor 8x has a night mode for which you need to have a stable position or use a tripod for a duration of 5 seconds in a time to make a combination of a few pictures for the end to have excellent one. I would also like to mention that the camera software built into Honor 8x has excellent performance and great variety of options. And those options need time to learn, do not forget that professional photographers in one session also make 300-500 photographs for in the end to choose from them only 10-15 most beautiful. I would give a few tips for a good photo; 1-the source of the light is always to be behind the camera , 2- stable position or tripod or hold on closest object, 3- do not rush to make a picture, 4- do not use digital zoom, it will destroy the quality of the picture, It's better to get closer to the object.

In lock screen there is no option to scroll down the status bar.. in other phones, it is possible, so that we can easily acess the wifi , flight mode, torch etc. And even the silent mode we can set for 15 , 30 minutes etc.. but it's not possible in 8x. Many reviews complain about the poor volume level when connected to headphones. Easiest way I found to overcome this and indeed, improve the sound quality. Download a quality music player app (Ive always installed Power amp) Disable the phones music player and use your downloaded app as default player. You can increase the pre-amp on Power amp as well as individual frequency ranges or use the pre set equalisers. I have more volume than my ears can handle on my Honor 8X now with better quality sound.

on papers, they are almost identical, with small differences, about camera honor 8x has a special mode to improve the image quality on low light conditions, and video fps60 in relation to Y9 has only fps30. but the Honor 8's look is dramatically improved and it looks like an 800-1000 eur device, it also has an advantage on the screen that is Gorilla Glass 3 protected, and the rear part with 16 canvas glass gives it a special luxury look. but choice is yours and if you have the opportunity to feel good of this two models in hand I think that honor 8x will take you. good luck.

Dear Honor fans, I come from expensive phone to 8X. Checked some forums and tweaks, made force GPU, adjust some settings, delete unsused apps, install custom launcher... the phone is a rocket now. Did I mention I could buy at least five or six honnor 8x phones for the same money as I have spend for my previous phone :) I only hope that in a few years after the support ends, there will be custom roms avaliable. I got this phone for a month and I'd say my review on it I bought it for its camera and screen and I'm not disappointed at all Camera is great really and AI algorithm is good I always keep it on, night mode feature is superb, selfie camera is good bright and good colors but you gotta catch its focus spot since as many phones it's fixed focus slow motion quality is good for perpose of slow motion It's surely is nit exactly 20 Meg camera but not that far from it specially with AI it be amazing it doesn't have eis but in fine sinc ei don't take videos Screen is good I never had any issue with it quality is great and response is fast and exact Battery life is amazing on this even playing real racing 3 or playing pubg for hour almost and using social medias I can get about 6 hours sot and maximum sot I have got without game and just social media was near 11 that's amazing I have only noticed one lag so far and it just showed 2 or 3 times that while in heavy usage as pubg or real racing the notification bar was lagy Build quality is great reakly Only I wish it had USB c instead of micro usb

I got myself the 8x and my wife have the Samsung A7 2018. we both like our phone but for different reasons. I like my 8x for its bigger display @6.5 inch and almost no edge design. A7 is more traditional look and smaller size @6.0 inch. But the A7 has a better GPU and it feel a bit more fluid when playing game. Both have finger print ID and face unlock but A7 use side button as scanner which feel less accurate than 8x scanner on the back. Also the 8x scanner has more functions than A7. Camera wise I have to give the A7 more credit for it take better picture with it's 3 cameras set up on the back. But I'm okay with the 8x cameras plus I paid 20% less for my 8x than the A7

The 10 lite only has 3gb of ram and slightly cheaper, the rear camera is only 13 megapixel (as opposed to 20 on the 8x), but the screen is also bigger bc the 10 lite has a dot instead of a notch; other than the rest is pretty much the same. So if you don't mind the smaller ram and the worse camera then I'd go with the 10 lite.

Front cam is 12 MP quality at best. I switched from Oppo F5 to this and its really dissappointing. F5 and 8x has the same 16MP rear cam but 8x doesnt even come close. The edges kind of look pixelated, my sisters old Oppo A71 takes better shots than 8x. I wonder how there is so much good reviews about its camera? Other than the camera, the specs are pretty amazing.

It's true, same case here as the colour tone is always too warm or cool no matter how I tweak. But my biggest gripe about the display has to be the lack of sharpness and contrast.

I had a look, that unfortunately didn't seem to be the solution as I had it set to full hd all the time. To confirm my suspicion, I put it next to Poco F1 as well as my RMN3 to do a side by side display comparison. Much to my surprise, it is visibly inferior in terms of not only sharpness, but also contrast and color accuracy. So if you have an eye for detail you will surely notice the difference even if you don't pixel peep. It is also hard to set the colour temperature to neutral as it's either slightly blue-ish or too warm no matter how you tweak. All these considered they are not really deal breakers unless you are serious about photography.

This is a very good phone for all its intent. The display is v.good. I found the blacks to be deep enough for a lcd. Sunlight legibility is great. Build like high-end. Slight slippery but that is resolved by a case. Battery excellent. 8h+SOT. Handles all daily tasks without any hiccups. Camera is nice. Audio output through 3.5mm jack is weak. But since use it a Fiio product..... Its adequate. Good one Huawei/Honor.

Best phone in this price. Minimum notch and chen. Its just normal in hand like 5inch old phone inspite of having a 6.5 inch big disply. Almost 1.45 hour take to full charge and run 2 days. Yeah i notice it too, but when i scroll down to open the setting the dim at the notch disappear. perhaps its the screen itself dimmed to ensure that users can see the notification, day and date and time. overall the phone is ok for its price range

For its price & your usage, you're better off buying Nokia 8. It can play PUBG on Ultra HD graphics + Ultra Frame Rate without any lag, thanks to Adreno 540, Pie & Stock Android. The battery lasts around 5 hours on PUBG with these graphics & around 8 hours in some other heavy games. No overheating issues either. The camera isn't the best but still good enough if you aren't crazy about selfies/photography. On everyday heavy usage, battery lasts 1.5 days. 3-4 hours of YouTube, 2 hours of PUBG, 2 hours of Facebook Different messaging apps throughout the day.

Heating issue is very bad. My charger is very hot while charging even when phobe is off.When plating games Not pulgged in charger.Phone becomes very hot playing with pubg for just about 20 minutes. Rather than that performance and camera is good. Another bad thing here in PH. they will not change units in there store. You have to go to another store which is very far away. Worst aftersales. I'm not sure with other countries.

I have this phone for a week already, JSN-L21, usable screen with noch is 6.33 inch, with noch disabled 6.18 inch. 6.5 inch includes black borders. Includes NFC. Sound is just ok, speaker calls ok, camera ok but without stabilization, hope we get electronic stabilization with future updates. Battery 2 days, calls, whatsapp, chrome, some lite games. Good built quality, i reccomend for the price.

Lacks some clarity and loudness but don't get me wrong, it's good enough, like everything with this phone, it is just not the "flagship for less" Huawei would like you to think it is, they have been very smart cutting corners at every turn but not enough to upset the user too much, when you find one you realize that you paid less so "it's ok then", be reminded, it's a cheap phone in the end do not fall for the hype.

I wouldn't buy this for the camera at all, it has some strong points like exposure and color, you don't easily get blown out skies for example BUT camera lacks detail, I imagine it has cheap optics, no point in using a 20 megapixel sensor, they used it just for hype I assume, anyways the camera works much like your average 12-13 megapixel mid range phone camera you can find anywhere, I have access to an old huawei P9 12 megapixel phone and it completely destroys this in detail. People looking for a good camera maybe should be looking at a 2017 higher end device for a discounted price, as a bonus you will be spared of the good for nothing notch.

Ahh well i think its design and display is overall good...and some users say sound is not enough good in this device...but i found the sound is actually decent..good then Xiaomi devides..and the display quality is awesome..now the point is about battery well i would say it is quite good for a normal user for him it will provide 1 and a half day.,. for extreme user he has to charge this twice a day...now coming to camera i would like to say that camera quality is average not so good...but overall phone is ok..and its design is sexy.

There's some light bleeding issue around the notch and at the bottom corners, it's not very noticeable at all with normal use if that leaves you happy, detail in camera is bad more so at low light (even night mode), speakers rather are bad, scratches easily just to name a few corners cut. At first this phone looks way greater than what it actually is, bottom line it's a cheap phone not worth a dime more than the asking price, don't buy into the hype and I think you will be satisfied with it (as it does deliver in a few key features like battery life), if not you will be disappointed pretty soon when you start finding the cut corners here and there.

From. 0 to 30% its pretty quick it's after that it's slight slower but not my u slower. Video is mainly the what I was talking about when I said drawback, video really shakey but u say camera is important not video so here gose. The camera is fantastic especially for a phone of its price! Using both normal and ai mode are really good. Hdr is great and low light is great too. Night mode is actually really useful in a lot of cases I've put my night mode against my wife's p20 and the 8x made just as nice night shots as the p20. I've taken many shots with the honor Ai watermark turned off and fooled many people into thinking it was in fact a £600+ device lol. Some reviewers will say different about the camera maybe saying its just average but as a photography enthusiast belive me for the price it sells at its very capable. Isn't a native option for shooting in raw on stock app but using lightroom app let's u take raw. With ai turned on it shoots @ 12mp rather than default 20mp but both ways the outcome gives nice sharp images. I've come from having the mate 10p & p20p in the last 8 months and in the camera department although the 8x don't match m10p or p20p I don't feel like I've lost to much photo quality. Sorry for the long essay lol, honor play u say? Can't comment on that phone unfortunately, a friend has owned it and he said the images are basically the same as his 8x was although it's worth mentioning maybe that 8x has F1.8 and honor play f2.2. That's not to say the play will fall short but could make a difference in low light photos

Honor 8x in the UK market dose in fact have 5ghz wifi I use it myself. Battery is great I don't play pugb but play other games and they run good. I consistently get 7.5/8hrs ost with around 18/20hrs off charge, camera performance is pretty good but also not without some drawbacks due to only been a midrange device. Screen is a good quality pannel for this price range gets nice and bright an ld has good colour reproduction. Build quality is definitely above its price range, uses older micro USB but is that a deal breaker? That's upto the potential buyer. Loud speaker or good enough not extremely loud but both too dimm. Fingerprint is fast and reliable and face unlock is pretty fast too. Emui with this device (kirin 710 & 4gb ram) is pretty responsive definitely runs fast enough for most, animations are smooth, flicking though the ui is generally fast and using the full screen gesture navigation is amazing for a phone of this size. The phone in UK is £229 sealed from honor website wich is were I purchased mine from and for the price it offers more than u could usually get in the category (in the UK) this a a non biased opinion, I always change phone may it be flagship or midrange so I have no desire to fanboy Huawei/honor so any questions please ask away I will be as honest as I can

Honor is a lower end company of Huawei, although both are similar phones, I would prefer Nova 3i as its direct production of Huawei. Both have good performance and cameras, Nova has a better dual selfie camera whereas Honor has single selfie camera but results are good anyway.

Its is the most beautiful phone in this budget with excellent camera, specially with the Bokeh mode also the battery lasts more than a day despite my heavy usage with 4G connected and it lasts 2-3 days on light usage with mobile data turned off and on as per requirement, which is a plus point considering the big screen which consumes lot of battery in other phones. Processing and Ram is not bad in all functions that I have used, however I noticed lag in some very light games such as Township, this should be improved by Honor Developers. Also I got the pre-order goodies which included Bottle, Headphones, Ring (holder) and special Monster earphones made for Honor 8x.

It was annonced in early October that the Honor 8x would be available in the USA but it still not available. The current version does not have the North America LTE bands such as the Honor 7x so be prudent before to buy from Chinese online store. Huawei/Honor launched recently many new phone in the mid market with great features but any of theme have the North America LTE bands...why ?

what game you play, if you play mobile legend, thres no problem with it. you can play high graphic with no problem. but if you want to play pubg, its not so suitable, pubg gameplay is a bit lag even on the lowest graphic setting.

Screen is good, camera is better at night, battery is superb but loudspeakers. They are exceptionally terrible. I can't make a phone call and can not listen to music without headache. After one week I stopped using Honor 8x and turned to my earlier phone Mate 9 (As you see I'm not against Chinese phones, on the contrary) . Please be careful people before you buy and just go and check the sound to see if you can tolerate the noise.

Personally I will take the 8x over the P20 Lite everyday and twice on Sunday. Firstly, the 8x has a larger screen (6.5 - 5.9) which make viewing of contents a pleasure. Secondly, the chipset is newer and better (Kirin 710 and Kirin 659). Also the build quality is so much better on the 8x as it is glass with aluminium. It feels way premium than any phone in its price range including the P20 Lite that is plastic. I can go on but I don't think I need to. I use the 8x (Chinese version) and I have been loving it ever since.

The screen is soooo awesomee.. i watch netflix in hd and the experience is so amazing. I play mobile legend with no lag, smooth gameplay in mid setting. But if you play with game acceleration mode, you can see the battery drain so fast and the device heat up. Pubg a bit lag. But bearable. Still no chicken dinner 😂😂.

Got this phone in the first sale. Build quality and the blue color are great, battery backup is excellent, display in vivid + warm is very nice and puncy, performance and gaming is fast & smooth and multitasking is sufficient with 4gb ram, camera both front and back are very good for the price, front cam pics with screen flash are very good and usable, rear camera lowlight images are not that good without night mode and that requires steady hands for 5+ secs atleast, the bottom speaker is decently loud and not bassy. The only bad point I have for this phone is the sound output with headphones. It's low in volume and lacks punch. Also emui is not as good as miui. Overall considering the price 9/10 from me....

In Pakistan, where generally all phones are a bit expensive than global markets, Honor 8x is available at a very low price of PKR 32,500 ($240). In comparison, Nova 3i / Oppo F9 / Vivo V11 are all around PKR 38,000. Pocophone is even more expensive at around PKR 46,000. Plus there is only one version of 8x launched, which is 4GB Ram and 128 GB of hard disk! whereas all others are only 64 GB. So it's an obvious choice here to go for this 128 GB Honor 8x at such a low price rather than the pricey alternatives.
