Honor Note 10 - User Reviews

  • I have none of those problems. Maybe it's from background apps

  • Yes its battery drains so fast. What is the solution of this problem.

  • This thing is huge,it doesnt fit well in your hands and pocket, its almost 7'.

  • no headphone jack, aaaaand it just obliterated any chance of me getting it.

  • Is it available in Canada?

  • Go ahead. I still recommend buying this phone, surely it won't disappoint.

  • Still great for gaming, multimedia and photography. Just the microphone not as clear as you can hear on other flagships but still good. I'm not a video maniac so I'm not really bothered by that. But after using it to record videos at work, the audio quality may be a bit lacking but the all the details are there so no big deal...

  • That's unusual... Make sure to turn off GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi when not in use. If the problem persists, do a factory reset.

  • Is it still good for gaming?

  • is this fone a 4g

  • Has anyone had problems with their battery? My battery drains very quickly, even though it is new. During an update it went from 100% to 94% in about 5 minutes.

  • I want to buy this phone.

  • Hi.. Where in India can I buy this phone?.. Unfortunately I don't see this phone available on any e-commerce websites here in India

  • Is there competitor to this phone yet? Any competitor with 7" amoled, stereo speakers and faster cpu?

  • Well I think the most answer about mate 30X will be this news too. Because there's no leaks, reveal and info for any mate 30X. Even mate Porsche Design also no info too, and will likely the similar this news too. They have only left with mate 30, 30 pro and 30 5G. But I'm not sure about the mate 30X officially news yet.

  • 230g is heavy, i have other phone with 215g, but this is another level

  • Its not gonna wipe ur data..but ur phone will lose the ability to run 3rd party launcher...I use default launcher now sad.,

  • well, if my phone got broken anytime withing 2019, i will buy another one without a second thought. well I'm a multimedia user " youtube, music and mainly watching vid and browsing". the battery is awesome + Dual speakers are perfect "loud and clear" with AMOLED display. the recording Video mic is the only problem with this phone but " with aftermarket audio recorder, you will be surprised with audio recording quality. updates are coming every 2 months i guess " i'm not updating regularly" no lags. no software jam no issue at all. with 400 USD, you can't find a competitor. I can't help you with ROM questions coz I have no clue about it hope my feedback is helpful. Thank you

  • I really, really praying for a Note 11 please Huawei. But next year hmmm

  • Hi, can someone please verify that it has radio fm?

  • I accidentally dropped my Honor Note 10 yesterday(of about 80 cm of height) and found out that the glass are quite sturdy when it comes to vibration and the thing we should care about more are scratches. It can however also depend on how you managed to "accidentally" drop it like the angles, curbs etc.. . But one thing for sure; it won't get cracked from simple drops. Mine survived that impact with only a tiniest of scratch on the side and are barely noticeable. ALWAYS PUT ON YOUR CASE!

  • never drop it on ground glass behind it too breaky even with corning gorila glass 6

  • I think next note would be next year 2020 every 2 years one note device comes, so there's no note this year.

  • I'm very proud owner of Honor Note 10 for more then a year and I'm completely sure that I'll buy Honor Note 20 - I mean next generation of this device! So Huawei/Honor come on! We're waiting for you!

  • No, i updated my honor 9 lite and no data was lost during the process

  • Honor 9x is announced but there's still nothing about honor note 11. Why is taking so long?, Also no 9x max yet.

  • Got mine arrived yesterday, super phone, fast, loud great speaker, even the camera is great too, but suprise of how heavy the phone is, can't even imagine if i accidentally drop it, will the screen break, even the phone back is made from shiny glass which is easy to break, so i wonder if anyone knows if the phone use gorilla glass or not to protect the screen?

  • i haven't updated the note 10 since i got the phone 10 months ago as I have been warned not to. will updating it to 9.0 wipe out all the data on my phone?

  • No Global ROM is without a doubt can be problematic if you want to have a clean UI experience. But it won't bother your daily usages on the phone, at least for me. Only several features that Honor only want to be 'only usable in China' are kinda "locked" from us. So to answer your question; 1) Not at all. 2) Not that often after all the problems with US, but should be back to normal now. So far I've received 3 updates and EMUI 9.1 would likely around August. 3) Not really. It still works blazingly fast and I still haven't experienced any lags, only a small stutters when playing heavy games on heavy network use and I think it's a network problem rather than the phone itself. For me the only problem is that video recording quality is kind of mid-tier and the mic lacks treble, but took suprisingly flagship-level pictures with the dual AI camera even at low light so it's not a dealbreaker for a multimedia user like me. 4) Yes. I'd recommend it. The Kirin970 may be a bit behind now but as I stated above, I still haven't experienced any lags whatsoever on this phone. If you want big Immersive with dual stereo speaker, Dolby Atmos-enhanced, NO notches and worth the money, then this phone is for you. The only worthy competitor to this phone are the MiMax 3 and the Mate 20x but the MiMax3 lacks processing power, stereo speakers, Dolby and AMOLED while Mate 20x are notched, not to mention the stereo speakers are actually 20% louder at the bottom which are a big dealbreaker for me as they will reduce the sound immersion when watching videos. I won't say the Galaxy Note and One plus 7pro as a valid competitor cos were talking about price tag and a 7-inch phab here which exclusively only on those 3. I hope this answer all your questions and doubts. Thanks.

  • Hey, Note 10's users, I need your help! This phone has absolutely everything that I need in one handset, but the lack of global ROM and the problem that Huawei/Honor had with U.S goverment desencouraged me on to buy It. I see the new releases, and no phone still can be compared to Honor Note 10, in its price. So, Let's to the questions: 1) Is the lack of global ROM a bad thing at all? 2) How often does Huawei send updates to this phone? 3) Has it any problem? 4) Do you still recommend this phone nowadays? Thanks!

  • no lte band 28 = no buy

  • Anyone now if huawei will make an updated version of this phone?. The honor note 10 was announced on July 2018, I hope they make one with better cameras and with headphone jack.

  • With which phone can I compare the cameras of this phone?. I know the Huawei nova 3 and nova 4.

  • I'm looking forward on Honor to release global ROM for this phone. soon. The turbo button can do lots of other things but only will be possible with the global ROM.

  • The ban is over Huawei is back :)

  • That's name of the OS Huawei currently developing now. It's widely known as HongMeng before but turned out that's the name of Chinese ver of the OS. The global ver of it have several names... Ark and the Oak(I personally prefer to call it Oak btw). Anyway, news have it that US finally give Huawei access back to US market. So these OS are unlikely and instead will be Huawei's emergency OS just in case something similar happens in the future. Q update on the way!

  • What is Oak OS? LOL!

  • I found some news stating that we'll be getting EMUI 9.1 this August and It'll probably the last Android update for us Huaweians before the Oak OS rolls out probably at the end of this year. Google's currently trying to persuade Trump to bring back Huawei stating It'll be more dangerous to let Huawei developing by itself(google it). Kinda sketchy tho hahaha. I still enjoy using my Honor note 10(it's my daily drivers!) as phablets without notches are kinda rare so changing phone for that is just not worth it. The only worthy contenders to this phone for me so far is the Xperia 1, OnePlus 7 pro and the Oppo Reno10x and they are still not as big and not as immersive.Well, that's why I said "rare". Not to mention the costs to upgrade are just not worth it as there only some new features. #nonotches #ultimateimmersion #eyegasm

  • I found some news stating that we'll be getting EMUI 9.1 this August and It'll probably the last Android update for us Huaweians before the Oak OS rolls out end of this year.

  • I've been using this phone with the EMUI 9 for a while now. New looks, few free songs from Honor, fixed camera issues(I got this by another new update) and slightly better performance while multitasking. Yeah we won't be getting Android updates anytime soon but the upcoming Oak OS(google it) will surely worth the wait! Oreo is still new and updating your system usually end up with your phone bigger appetite for juice!. I've encountered some small problems when holding the power button sometimes it'll just shutdown itself when you stay too much time on the power options screens(be warned before updating!). Well I can live with that small issue cos it'll probably got fixed in the next updates. Rumors told that we'll still be getting the android Q(I'll probably try the Oak OS first) but it'll only after Google make it available on the AOSP(google that too for more details).

  • Good big 86mm WIDTH screen, however wont work in my country and if you travel is a problem as well, no support for LTE band B28 (700)

  • Already updated to android 9 (12 May 2019 Ukraine)

  • When 3g shuts down no service at all. Don’t buy anything unless it will get VoLTE.

  • Nope, only H+ on At&t

  • no global rom for it at all gotta buy 20x .

  • Why haven't I received any updates on my Honor Note 10 to EMUI9? and i'm still at EMUI 8 is that normal? I feel outdated.

  • Will this work on the AT&T network (4G/LTE) in the USA?

  • only games added to "appassistant " can active the turbo button...find the appassistant and add the game into it....open the game you add and click turbo button

  • If you don't have a lock screen or security, pressing it will show the time and date momentarily.

  • Slice down on home screen where no icons, type game suite in search bar, you would see the game acceleration option there.

  • So... For what I can use that button? I know for shuter in camera mode, more?

  • It automatically has gpu turbo turned on

  • I can not find that in settings. I try that before and now again, but I can not find. Can somebody explain to me stepbby step how to turn on that option (always on). Also I do not know how to activate turbo GPU button. Help please...

  • How does the phone perform outside China after the EMUI 9 stable update?

  • Simply go to settings and search "always on display" you'll find it and just turn it on. It's oddly "hidden" and can't be edited dunno why tho but still super functional so thumbs up for that!

  • How to use always on displey on this device?

  • Huawei is a huge flopshow in india. More then half of the devices not available. Also not getting proper replies from.stores and service centrs on availability.

  • I'm using EE, have no problem with 4G as long as within the coverage range. The UK 4G LTE frequencies in use are 800 /1800 /2600 MHz, EE is using all the bands, THREE is using 800 and 1800, O2 and Vodafone are using 800. Note 10's 4G LTE bands supports: 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 34(2000), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500) So, it would definitely supports EE and THREE, but not O2 and Vodafone.

  • It's basically the same. It's still sound the same. The Dolby Atmos still sound perfectly as ever! NO NEED to factory reset your Note 10. It just replaces the current OS to the newest one. You won't lose any of your personal data.

  • Pls did u do FACTORY RESET after d installation. Also wat of the sound,is it d same. Sorry to disturb. I want to give it a trial dis night . thanks alot

  • Ok. I'll give you my HONEST opinion regarding this issue... BATTERY LIFE is still spectacular even after the update, BUT not entirely. The Always on Display consumes bigger power now... About 1 charge every 2 hours. Overall, system is ok and I can notice about 20% improvement of battery usages. But this is my own findings and results may vary depending on your way of using your Note 10s... The task manager also changed to lolipop-style but I find that to be way better than the Oreo ones... Really, there's nothing to lose in upgrading your OS. The AOD consumes a lil bit more of juices but I think it can be solved by changing your font style(as the AOD font are thicker(bolder) on this Pie EMUI).

  • I got d update since but am afraid to install because of battery. Pls hw is d battery life on pie. If its good as oreo. Pls do let me know.

  • But does the phone work better than before eg. Battery drain, app management, notifications?

  • I've got the update and it is nothing like Beta or anything they're telling us... I guess everyone should try it(the instructions Ebony's shared us below)... Waiting? The update may will take months before reaching your phone. The Honor 10 and the Lite ver. will get it first as our Honor Note 10 are not as popular as they are.

  • Yea, u wil be checking it manually. Whenever there is new update. It will pop u.

  • and if the official update comes we still get them right?

  • Oh man thanks a lot for the help! You just save my day! I I'm just about to give up this update stuffs...

  • Since I can still see in the forum that many people are not getting Pie on their Honor Note 10's mostly because they are not aware that, Huawei is currently only pushing the Pie firmware for them who have signed up for their Official Pie beta testing... You can still sign up for the Pie beta...They didn't close the beta registrations... Here are the procedure to get Pie beta on your Note 10's...I have let many people know about this process but thought about sharing the details in a new thread so that more people can see it & get Pie on their phones... :) 1) 2) Translate the page to English using Chrome Browser... 3) Choose Glory Note 10... 4) Your current operating system... 5) Your 16 Digit Serial Number (not your IMEI Number)...You can get your SN easily by dialing *#06#...The bottom one is your SN... 6) Put Any random 11 digit phone number starting with 17 (for example, 17865655679) & hit the Submit button... 7) After 12-14 hours, you should be able to receive the Pie update...Keep checking for updates manually... 8) After you get the Pie update, you will need to keep checking manually because the later updates like 181 & 183 "might not" automatically show on your handsets if you don't manually search for updates... For your convenience, I'm also attaching a screenshot giving you all an example of how to fill-up the Pie signup form... Best wishes...:):) If you face any problems, you can always let me know here or in PM... :)

  • Does this phone work in nyc thru boost mobile?

  • Come on man install the update and let us know. I'm still waiting.

  • Pls how is battery life on PIE. Just got d update but afraid to install .thanks

  • Still no pie update, what a shame. This phab is quite a beasty-performer. The only competitor(according to the size) in its class that manages to beat it is it's cousin, The all-new Mate 20X but the gap is nothing considering the price and the performance that this thing can offer. I'm hoping that Honor would release global ROM for this. I've used this phab for a month now and I can guarantee you, it's no slouch. The Dolby Atmos speaker setup on this thing is the best I've ever heard on a phab. It's evenly loud(unlike even the Mate 20X as the bottom firing one sounds 20% louder) and rich. I think GSM Arena should be reviewing this one.

  • I would like to get this phone. Since it's China version only, does emui 8.2 do not allow to change the launcher?

  • keep reading can't get 4g in uk, due to limited bands. true?

  • android pie yet?

  • im using the honor note 10..its very good...the only problem its not global..and u cant change ur launcher...its really hard to fix when u broke the screen u know because its not gloabal unless u live in china(i got mine broke on the lower screen)...but this is the best beast phablet i ever had....video recording is not that good...camera is good but not as good as the p20 ahahhaa...sound superb!!!!

  • If you want a big and very good display, the note 10 is very good. Have it since 6 month and it is very very good.

  • Hi which is better to choose for gaming???Note 10 or Honor play???please help me to choose in HUWAEI for gaming phones

  • And global version too.

  • It has 4G. Europe no problems. The funniest and usefull thing of the chinaaps is skytone. Realy awesome! A nice phone for less money.

  • and more cash to splash to buy mate 20.

  • You do have a superior option, i.e., Huawei Mate 20X. Larger 7.2" AMOLED screen in a slight shorter form-factor (same width, same weight) due to its bezel-less full screen design. Mate 20X is prettier, nicer build quality, with world best smartphone camera setup, head-phone jack, availability of M-Pen (4096 levels of pressure sensitivity), same 5000 mAh battery. Yes, it cost a little more and its availability is more limited.

  • I agree. It's absolutely necessary and more with a phone with such features. The lack of headphone jack is a big no no. If Huawei makes so many versions of the same phone with little changes I hope they make another honor note 10 with headphone jack and NFC would be a nice extra too.

  • Although it is different but it still supports 4G. It is impossible for today's cellphones, especially smartphones that don't support 4G, especially the Huawei brand. Be smart bro~ :v

  • there are different bands in different countries.. 4G working in china does not ensure that it will work in Europe. So do not jump on conclusions

  • How about band 20? and 4G in UK?

  • got 4G, im using it for few months already

  • Is there a cell phone today that has no 4G connectivity? Especially with this good cellphone. What a ridiculous statement.

  • 4G works perfect in Belgium, just some stupid Chinese popups now and then,i use it already a few months , waiting what android pie wil bring

  • sadly it didnt support 4g

  • Yes, it has GPU Turbo and it's great for gaming.

  • Is it have gpu turbo like honor play like 60 fps??? Is it display resolution good for gaming???

  • It's too big! Like a tablet!

  • Of course

  • Can this phone be used for T-Mobile in the US and other carriers in Canada?

  • Hi I would ilke to know if this is absolutely not available to use google pay and octopus app in Hong Kong for Honor Note 10 (parallel import from China) if yes, this is not acceptable, anyone who can advise thanks

  • Doesn't have 3.5mm headphone jack. How could Huawei do this to a phone that has so many good spects has this huge downside, I wouldn't even mine if it didn't have NFC which is also important but headphone jack NO WAY. Please Huawei take note for the following note model.

  • Yes if you want a giant screen

  • Yes vr can be used on youtube so I'm assuming it would work with games

  • Should I change my Galaxy A5 (2016) with this ?

  • Not compatible for me. I use my Huawei Honor Note 10 in Croatia

  • Any Honor Note 10 user here, can try if this phone compatible with the ARcore by google from googleplay store?

  • Yes, you can get whatsapp's notification on note10 for sure, because whatsapp has a cached background process that always running, and it can pass through Huawei's power mangement protocol. Check down the the comments below, I have detailed and posted some apps are able to receive the notifications, also a solution for those were not.

  • Hi, can you name the apps you couldn't active? As far as I know, only those Huawei's built in apps that require your Huawei ID to log in (such as Huawei's music, Huawei's health, Huawei's cloud, backup, Appgallery etc)

  • hi thanks a lot for your post. i am very impressed. my problem with my HN note 10 is about the device adminstration. i cannot make some app activate from device adminstration. the device always ask me to log in to huawei ID which i already logged in. dont know how to fix it. please let me know any solution in case you aware of it.

  • Do you get all whatsapp/ other app notifications now?

  • You would face notification, google backup and google assistant issue because it's not the global version. I wrote the review below about the issue I faced, I also post the solution for notification although it's not the 'perfect' solution, unless go for root routine. But I can live with that, it's still the best phone I ever had.

  • oh I replied wrong guy, just ignore my comments sorry, haha

  • Pro 10 was released in 2017, it was the high-end flagship model, it's more expensive; Note 10 was released 2018 August, it's flagship model for China until Huawei announced Mate 20 series; Pro 10 has 4000mah battery, Note 10 has 5000mah Pro 10 uses Leica optics for the dual camera, it has even bigger aperture f/1.6; Note 10 only uses regular camera lens f/1.8; Pro 10 upgradable to Android 9.0pie, Note10 upgradable to 8.2(at least for now); Note 10 support microSD, Pro 10 doesn't; Note 10 has much bigger screen 6.9 rather than 6 for Pro 10; Pro 10 support more 4G networks bands than Note 10; Note 10 support Dobly atmos sound Fm radio, but no Infrated, where Pro 10 in the opposite; Pro 10 has Global version, Note doesn't.

  • Depends on your needs, what do u prefer most?

  • 3 months passed already, no news about the European market release...that's sad...not gonna wait anymore,

  • Mate 10 pro is much smaller

  • Honor Note 10 /OR/ Huawei Mate 10 Pro ??? same specs, same price..please advise me the same questions. Which better Honor OR Huawei thanks in advance,,,

  • so far i've never seen any comments in this thread saying "dont buy this phone" eventho this phone is exclusively for China users. even i didnt meet any negative comments regarding this phone. seems that this phone is really good though. thinking of buying it :)

  • This is my updated review following my previous first impression review: I've stated in my last review how to uninstall those Chinese apps, which isn't gonna be anything you need to worry about. Now it's been 2 weeks so far, I had a great experience with it and also faced some issues, here I am sharing my experience for anyone who is interested to get one. We all knew that this note 10 is designed for selling in the Chinese market, so the phone has different policy preset to the phones that target to EU/US or Global. In this case, it has the built-in Phone Manager/Power manager process which is always running in the background, and you can not stop it. So every time when you press the "overview button"(the third button/square button), following by pressing the trash icon, the build in power manager would kill all the 'third party' running apps including all google's apps. so that means from this point, you won't get notification from the apps just killed, UNLESS the app itself has service process keep running that can pass through Huawei's power management policy. In my example: Apps that can pass through the 'power kill' are: Whatsapp, Google store, play and Instagram, these apps can guaranteed to get notifications under this system. Gmail: I can get the notification but not after the screen off. as soon as I switch on the screen, the notification would back again. Google(Search or home): it would be terminated if you press the 'overview button', after that if your Google assistant installed, and set it as 'default assistance & voice input' from the setting, it would change back to 'None'. which means the 'google assistant' will stop function until you manually set it back again in the default setting. The second issue is that I can not get google drive's backup working, I can sync all pictures and videos by google photos into google drive. but when I always get 'couldn't backup data try again later' message. maybe I haven't figure out yet, I guess I have to use other method or apps to back up the data. A solution to the notification issue: 1. Go to setting-Battery-app launch, set all the apps you want to get notifications to 'manually', and make sure all 3 options selected(auto-lanch/secondary launch/Run in the background) 2. Go to setting-Battery- top right corner setting button- Keep Wlan on(always), keep mobile data(on) 3. Go to setting-Apps&notifications- notifications management- make sure all the apps you want to get notifications set to enable, then go to top right corner-'three dots button'-lock screen notifications-'Display all notifications' 4. Go to Setting-Apps&notifications-apps-- Click'settings button' down the bottom of the screen, then--Advanced--special access-- Ignore battery optimisation: set allowed to all the apps you want to get notifications. 5 Open all the apps that can be killed by power manager, using the home button(second/middle button) open one by one, then press the (the third button/square button).you would see all the opened apps on tabs; On top of each tab, there are 3 buttons, the second one is a 'LOCK' icon, the third one is 'X', press the 'Lock' icon to lock the apps. From here you would be safe to press 'trash Bin'button as the apps would keep running at background. Keep in mind don't press the 'X'(closing button) or slide out the app tabs as these actions would still kill off those apps even they have locked. So far this is the best way I could figure out, the downside of this solution is that those locked apps might consume more battery power and rams depends on the apps, for example, some of the social apps have built-in browser. The good news is this phone's battery life is powerful, with 6GB Ram it handled the situation pretty well. I guess the perfect solution would still be unlock the bootlaoder root the phone and get rid of built-in apps or install fresh Rom, however I believe most of the users wouldn't take that risk doing that way. Overall, I'm still very pleased with this device, as I mentioned in the last review, the battery life is highly endurance, the large amoled screen is amazing, the touch and the design are matched my taste, the value of the phone is just great. Anyway, I hope this would help anyone who is considering to buy the phone. If anyone has a better solution please also let us know, and hopefully, there would be a future Global version for its next model.

  • Neither myself or my friends own any Samsung phone, so I don't get a chance to compare them yet, but you can check this video out However, you would see the Note 10's screen has mesh pixel appearing during his testing video playing, I think that's because of the reflection of his camera recording, although Samsung S9 in that video didn't reflect anything at all. I've also run the exact same video for the test on my Note 10, I couldn't see any pixel at all, very smooth and sharp, it's a better actual result than in that video. Moreover, I would post something in a new comment regarding this phone's emui 8.2 system that you might need to consider before you make a decision to buy the phone.

  • I actually bought it in China.

  • sallers name on aliexpress??

  • Thanks for your post. How are the colors/blacks/sharpness on this amoled panel? Comparable to Samsung?

  • @SilentNite in Dialler screen, go to 'More' >'Setting'>automatically record calls'> Enable

  • I bought this Note 10 in China, I'm using it in the UK right now. Just want to say this phone is just amazing, the best smartphone I've ever had. Two things are really impressive, 1 battery life, 5000mah, more than 10 hours playing and video watching, still 30% left. 2 7'' AMOLED screen is crystal clear, everything looks beautiful. For people who worried about Chinese apps: 1 Simply uninstall those pre-installed Chinese apps; 2 Change language to English, delete Chinese input methods, setup the keyboard input to yours; 3 Download and install the Google play store; 4 Disable Huawei browser in the setting; 5 download and install Greenify, hibernate all Huawei's original apps which could not uninstall(unless going for root), except the Game Suite as you need it for the Turbo key to function; 6 Enjoy it, it's a beautiful device.

  • Hey ppl Does this phone have automatic call recording feature like Xiaomi phones have in their recorder app?

  • It dont support wireless charging... There was the silicon case in my box, i buy it on Aliexpress to. Charger and cable is in the box to.

  • Thank you so much Justin .....after I purchase it online???is with some accessories or you need to buy that also??like the silicon cover or protector for the phone ???and what about the wireless charger???

  • No global version yet for this device. But you will get the cheapest price off AliExpress between $450-$570 of the standard version with English and a few bloatware.

  • when this phone will be sold on Asia???if not guys where can I buy this phone through online???how much this is in USD???can you please tell me how long the battery can last if your playing mobile games and watching videos nonstop???

  • No, it doesn't work

  • Nice one. How is the amoled qualitu wise compared to your S6 edge? As it's most likely not Samsung made, but BOE

  • I'm in California and just bought one from Aliexpress. Got here in 5 days which was great. It works very well on ATT but I can't get Google Pay to work yet. Visual voicemail won't work because it's an unlocked phone according to ATT. This is the best phone I've ever owned including an S6 Edge Plus and a few iphones.

  • Panel maker of the amoled?

  • Does the M Pen work on the Note 10?

  • Does it play HDR on Youtube? It has HDR 10 display...

  • Yes no doubt, even this year they said.

  • Will this get android pie? I'm interested if it will have upgrade to pie and beyond

  • Its really not bad at all. Dont understand why u think that. Try look some youtube videos.

  • Cool phone with one big weakness: 355 ppi with an amoled pentile matrix... that probably means pixels easily visible by the eye... can anyone confirm it is that bad?

  • Try ask in our global facebook group then.

  • anyone know if the note 10 will work in the USA on Metropcs? will it get 4glte? i love this phone but want all functions to work if i buy one.

  • Honor Note 10 is awesome! because of I am impressed by its 5000mah battery and bigger display!!! It has dual firing speakers with Dolby Atmos certified and it sure will give me a wonderful experience when watching movies and listening to music. Honor Note 10 is an perfect flagship smartphone in every single aspect.

  • Is it available in Jamaica

  • Available on Shopee

  • Is this available in philippines?

  • the width is equivalent to that of a 6.2 inch 16:9 phone.

  • Probably not at all...

  • mine doesnt dust at all

  • It’s width is similar to the old 5.5” screen phones, so the 6.95” is very easy to handle. Great sound on the usb to headphone adaptir or via bluetooth ldac headohone, Battery lasts 3 days ! Excellent photos with hybrid color + monochrome sensors(excellent low light performance without rgb filter blocking 70% light) and 2x optical zoom. Price is 1/3 of other flagships but surpasses them in battery life, screen size and photo!

  • Does all the cameras dust

  • China rom will work anywhere around the world with the Google play installed.... Only a few functions like nfc payment works in china only.... You have to ask them to install the global firmware and that if the phone is launched globally...

  • Till now availability is limited to China unfortunately.

  • not waterproof

  • Is it available in UAE?

  • Any idea when Honor Note 10 is launching in India?

  • Hello, you have to buy it from china or maybe from a local seller on ebay. One of the best sellers in China is Wonda mobile, they are very honest sellers and have a good reputation. Choose express shipping and you can get your phone in 2 - 4 days. They also pay any import duties that you are charged and put the playstore on the phone for you. I am in no way linked to wonda mobile, i live in england but have purchased from them in the past.

  • Hello Sir I Need This Mobile in Saudi Arabia Cause of i Did't Found This Mobile in Saudi Arabia How i Get this mobile in Saudi Arabia and How much price please

  • good seller

  • I bought the Honor 8 back in Oct 2016, from Newegg. They had a really good deal on such a wonderful phone. Only now has the top name brand phones & others come close to its features. I got it for $279.00. It has no cracks chips, dents, and works spectacularly. I'm on the t-mobile network as they are the best around. I never pay any attention to others. I did my research and found this to be the best deal. Even today i wont buy a new phone. Huawei is the best.

  • I did some time in the past without any problems, but last couple years i buy from Aliexpress. All good and fadt shipping when i choose DHL... Always. This year i buy mi max 3, honor note 10 and honor 8X max, all from Aliexpress, but in 3 different stores (y)

  • Hello i have heard bad things about eglobal Central is it safe to buy from them?

  • This is to everyone who owned the honor note 8. Is the note 10 better, is it worth upgrading? The note 8 was a beast!!! it had a beautiful display, great speaker and was super fast. What makes the note 10 better or should i wait for the note 11?

  • 407,49$ i pay to the seller for note 10. And for the Honor 8X Max i pay 325,49$ :-) (from another Ali shop).

  • Thank you for all the replies

  • So total cost to me in the UK is approximately 420 euro for the 128gb model did you pay about the same price

  • 36$ for shipping with DHL to Denmark, its a fair price. 75euro sounds totally crazy, cant be true :-/

  • Hello this seller is charging approximately 75 euros to ship to UK using DHL. how much did you pay

  • I tell the shop to sign low value for customs (110$). So i had to pay around 35$ in tax. Not much. But eglobalcentral have it to, if u live in eu and are scared of the tax :-)

  • Hello, did you pay any import duties or VAT on the delivery how much was the total cost?

  • Took 5 days with DHL for me to get it from China to Denmark in Europe with this seller on Aliexpress: Asia-Pacific D C Technology Co., Ltd. I can really say thubms up for this shop.

  • Hello, im not sure about the Netherlands but there is a seller on ebay who is based in norway and they are selling the note 10 for a reasonable price

  • Hello to all my note loves, I currently own the honor note 8 and love it, Its super fast, has a beautiful screen and is just the best phone i have ever owned. Do you guys think its worth upgrading to the note 10, im in the UK and if i buy it i want to avoid paying import duties. Has anyone from the UK purchased this phone from aliexpress? Where is the cheapest and safest place to buy this phone. Thanks to everyone who can help.

  • @szini can you post link from where you bought your Huawei Honor Note 10 ?

  • Yestereday i got my Note 10,i paid about 360 euros from Hong Kong, excellent phone, incredibly fast, very good value for money!!!I am very satisfied!Highly recommended!!!

  • I will like to know if anyone was able to compare the Honor Note 10 6GB vs 8GB model with there be much of a difference in performance??

  • I'm using one with all Google service working properly but no google pay (NFC). My Honor note 10 cannot add my credit card with NFC Google pay. Google service is easy to install with built in "Huawei Market" p.s. I live in Hong Kong

  • Too bad this is China ROM only. If they sold this as a Global ROM it'll be a massive hit! I know I want one save for the fact I don't want to be limited by the Communist Party when I don't even live in China.

  • The back of the phone is horizontal, like the Nokia X2-00.

  • So, We have got the generation of all times ;) This phone ain't a phone it's a beast. We got 4k Camera 5000mah Ru serious? 8gb Ram CPU GPU And Slot, Internal. All others cell phones suck expect this one.

  • Can't get notification from News net works,I have all notification turned on,can anyone help

  • Check on DirectD, it's offered at RM 1619. -,-

  • When this Phone Come to indonesia

  • when will come this phone out in the netherlands?

  • What about M'sia? I think a lot of peoples are asking about this phone.

  • When is it going to launch in India???

  • You are from the UK, yeah? You say "calls quality is great instead of call quality" and "when you pick the phone instead of when you pick up the phone". I'm from The Netherlands and any Harries from the UK should know better than this. Foul play if you ask me.

  • Why some companies stopped giving headphone jack, I don't understand

  • Thank you

  • Thank you

  • As Harry mentioned, it all works here to, no dust neither here. U can go into the xda developers forum to and read all about note 10 to, good place to look. Im still happy for note 10 indeed... Go get it. After update it all still here yes. Im living in Denmark Europe btw (y)

  • I already had Google Playstore installed (bought from Wondamobile), but even if you received without it - easy to install, the guide: OTA updates work fine, both devices and apps. Actually my Note 10 OS had five updates already, bug fixes and additional functionality, Huawei are busy bees :) The best phone I've ever had, exceeded my expectations. You can read up more on my 18 Sep 2018 posts. P.S. No dust on cameras, but as I've read, only few people have it, and dust doesnt affect pictures quality.

  • How did you install google play store and services into this phone? Will you get an OTA update? If yes, when the update arrives, will it not uninstall ur google services/ play store being a Chinese version? I need your opinion and experience sofar! Then, does your unit gather dust under the camera glass?

  • I just checked the phone. The right hand holes (same side as the rear camera lens) on top of the phone are just doing nothing. If you block those holes it won't affect the sound at all. So, assuming that the dust ingress through those holes, I'll block them with a small piece of tape, and hopefully it'll prevent the dust buildup under the lens. prevention is better than cure. Again, I presume the other holes are already sealed by the speaker canal so they shouldn't participate to the issue.

  • Will this ever launched outside China? I mean, I heard rumors that this phone will not be available in Malaysia, as well as other countries.

  • I don't know why Huawei don't used protection glass•Its far better than this type of glass.j

  • Good for you. Honor are a bunch fo amateurs for letting this happen.

  • I absolutely agree! I had this issue only having the device for 3 days and dust was already accumulating underneath the lens. Regardless whether it affects the photos or not, this shouldn’t happen at all. Luckily I’ve sent mine back for a refund l and ended up paying the difference for a Note 9 on WondaMobile. If your not bothered about the dust issue then keep the device. For me I ain’t gonna risk it.

  • It's unforgiveable, full stop. The guy in the YT video does not get warranty, he's simply being denied. Multiple people have this issue and I had it with another phone. It's hell, because it will accumulate more dust as time progresses and will severely affect photos. Huawei/Honor should do a call back or replace affected units immediately, no questions asked.

  • Just because very few people have dust on cameras, your solution is not to buy the phone? You realize every single phone brand in the market has one issue or another? By your logic we should boycot them all :) The funniest thing is, this dust few people have doesnt even affect the pictures! Lots of nothing in the end. If it STARTS affecting pictures, warranty will cover.

  • got mine from aliexpress, using 3 weeks now and absolutely love it.. bought the 6gb 64gb and put in a 128gb microsd.. can't find anything wrong with it.. almost half the price of a SS Note9 is so much better value.. would definitely recommend

  • What a let down. I smashed my Honor Note 8 and was hoping to upgrade to a phone that promised to be even bigger, but then they decided to make it a stupid aspect ratio, so it's actually a downgrade from the Note 8 in terms of screen size.

  • Or not even as serious as iPhone 7 issue?

  • But the issue is not as serious as Samsung note 7?

  • You sure about that?

  • The camera taking good pictures indeed. I have only 3 month warranty because i buy it from a seller on Aliexpress.

  • What are you talking about? No dust on any camera (pictures quality is excellent btw), and warranty is 1 year (bought from Vondamobile).

  • I understand. Volokin Project on Youtube has this problem with Honor Note 10. You can check it out. The back camera has this issue, not the selfie camera.

  • I have 3 month warranty on it. Same i have on my mi max 3, and this i have some probs with and send back to China (Sunsky) from Denmark (Europe). 3 month is not a long time... indeed, but really better then nothing :-) Btw... which camera have the problem? I love my self camera or the back camera??

  • Thanks for your comments, sounds very positive. However, keep us updated if you come across dust underneath the lens glass. A lot of units seem to have this problem and it's very bad if you have it, because more dust will come in over time.

  • Wauuvv... finally i got the phone yesterday. It took 5 days from ordering until i got the phone, from China Aliexpress with DHL yo Denmark in Europe, really effective shop (Shoop name: Asia-Pacific D C Technology Co., Ltd). The phone is well build and really lookss and acting like a flagship model. Fast, good camera, really good sound in the speakers, in my 53 years i never have a phone with such a good sound quality, and belive me, i got many phones in my year, buying 1-2 each year (this year 3 phones). The chinese apps, and there is quite a few one on the phone, i put in a folder and so the phone is 99,99% like a international rom version. I have seen some Chinese text 5-8 places and thats it, and it don't spoil anything at all. I am really surprised how awesome this phone is, can really recommend it for sure and for 404$, i really feel i got much phone for the money here... really cheap in my opinion.

  • DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!! A lot of units have dust underneath the camera lens and there is NO warranty!

  • thank for your reply, its a good think to know

  • Keep your complaisance

  • I have ordered but i have mate 9 and if u set that u pick phone and screen auto switches on the face unlock will be even faster.. of course face unlock is slower because it needs turn screen and then check your face.. but with auto lit up when grabbing fone it already checking for face ..

  • Yeah, It's not good for this ghoul phone! wireless charging isn't new technology!

  • P.S. I'm from UK, using 4g EE network. Stable and fast connection.

  • Used it for a week, and I'm impressed, its the best phone I have ever had. I use Note 10 mostly for wireless music, so the most important to me is an excellent Bluetooth quality (aptx) and how long battery lasts. 2% battery drain per hour with BT (moderate battery savings on), that means Note 10 lasts ~50 hours playing bluetooth. Awesome! Calls quality is great, pictures are excellent in both good and dim light. Screen is very good. No issue with Chinese, either uninstalled their apps or placed in one folder to get out of the way, and installed apps I prefer. Unlocking phone with fingerprints is instant, while face recognition is slower (up to 1 sec) but still useful, so I have both activated to unlock with either. Very handy is Pick up feature, i.e. when you pick the phone it automatically recognizes your face and unlocks the phone, no need to press power button or use fingerprints.

  • Note 10 doesnt support wireless charging, thats the biggest drawback of this phone, however USB-C charging is super fast.

  • Anyone know that phone support Qi wireless charging or not?

  • ordered the beast from the east :)

  • Very good for u and if ur smart enough like u sound, im sure u can fix a leather shoe around ur smartphone (y)

  • I used more than 15 phones in the past and never happened like you before. You are just careless or lying.

  • I prefer leather shoe

  • this mobile india launching date

  • I’ve checked with the DRM Info app and can confirm it is Widevine level 1 just not sure why it’s not showing the HD content (Most probably cos its a Chinese rom and not a global one maybe...) I installed the default Netflix app through the play store with no luck, I even tried the modded apk through the XDA forums and again no luck. The phone is going back as we speak. It’s definitely a killer phone with some great features i.e Dolby atmos speakers, 6.95” amoled screen, very fast and buttery smooth UI and especially the battery life. I only had the phone for 3 days and the Netflix thing bugged the hell outta me hence why this was a dealbreaker for me. As the fella below mentioned “Yes, I have a TV and a tablet. I commute a lot and carrying a 12.9” iPad is practical for me hence why I opted to go for the honor note 10. It’s a damn shame!

  • Saw it on youtube, by frankie tech He used "DRM info" and the phone support widevine L1. Source: 11:40

  • So no widevine L1 ? that really sucks ..i was waiting for the 8GB 128GB release.

  • Camera is excellent....

  • Then its good u have a tv i guees, maybe even a tablet.

  • What about the camera section? Is it good??

  • Got the phone yesterday and netflix only shows in 540p... SUCKS!!!

  • Many smartphones have, i would prefer a leatherbag, but again i always use a flip cover on my phones, so for me, it doesn't matter whats on the bag, but for many people it does... i know :-)

  • has it really glass on the back?!? I don't see the point, it's gonna be heavier and more fragile

  • It has oLED notification. Color is depends on the application you use. That means it can display any color.

  • Can anyone give a hint, what led notification color does it has?

  • ksa avilable

  • Becouse they don't want to sell it in Europe 😡

  • unfortunately, this good phone will never see the light of global ROM...since it is meant for Chinese market only. This is a deal breaker for me. I was so much interested to buy this. In my country the price of 64 GB version is around 550$.

  • Do you mean Persian Gulf?

  • How much Chinese bits of text etc are in the ROM?

  • Why no band 20 4G :-(

  • No, i don't have any damage, not even one, you are just careless, that's all.

  • Almost all.. Except few system apps like calculator.. I put them all in one folder so kind of hiding them

  • Anyone yet confirm chinese version working in USA with LTE on any carrier? One person claimed they got LTE on ATT but I don't see how this is possible.

  • Could you uninstall all the Chinese apps??

  • Most will work except: Cellcom: 4G: Not available 3G: All 2G: All Pelephone: 4G: All 3G: All 2G: Not available Rami Lrvy: 4G: All 3G: All 2G: Not availlable All network below will work on 4G, 3G and 2G Bands Hot mobile Partner We4G 019 Mobile

  • No OIS? That's not good.

  • Just bought the Chinese version.. Using it in Hong Kong. Download Google play from Huawei preinstalled app market app.. Delete unwanted Chinese app and working flawlessly in 10 min.. Really simple. Loving it.. The best phone I have used.. Fast, long battery life, good screen with pled, just perfect

  • I did the same but factory reset t first then deleted all the strange apps installed Google play and it's great now Perfect phone

  • Thx, i will order one now. Google play, is it a APK file then? It must be i guess.

  • I wonder why people say no 3.5mm Jack is negative. In fact it is very good enhancement. Why? Because, many phones have been damaged when you have a headphone plugged to the Jack and you drop your phone hanging from the headphone wire. The Jack damages quickly.if don't believe me ask mobile repair shops. I have had my last two phones damaged the Jack. With the headphone adapter it's rarely possible to damage the type_c connector.

  • Well I haven't spent much time exhausting every Chinese bits and pieces. Just quickly disabled everything I could. Still some bits here and there, but nothing bothers me at all. There was no Google play store, I just googled and installed the.app and then quickly reinstalled all my applications from my Google play library. And within 20 minutes everything was same as my other phone mi max2.

  • Nice. Congrats (y) I need to say goodbye to my old asus zenfone 3 ultra now. So you have the Chinese global version. How many Chinese apps does it have? And can you tell about other negative stuff cause the Chinese rom?? I really must be sure there is not to much crap with this phone. I bought the mi max 3, 1 week after the release, but could not use it for talking 85% of the time because of a very poor signal. I send it back to Sunsky in China, maybe mine mm3 just have some error, but cant stop thinking its because of the chinese rom. But i will see when i get it back i guees. But before that happens i think i will have the Honor Note 10 in my hand, only depending your answers now :-)

  • I've got the China version in Australia. Have used it for 3 days now. I love it. So far no issues at all.the first thing I love is the sound quality. The phone stays cool at any load. Screen is amazing. Xiaomi list one customer as they lacked nfc in mi max 3. The note 10 is great.I wish it was a bit lighter in weight. BTW, it was easy to get rid of Chinese applications. Overally no issues with the Chinese Rom

  • will it work in israel? according to this table: 2G - GSM 900/1800 3G Cellcom 3G 850/2100 Pelephone 3G 850/2100 Golan 3G 2100 Hot Mobile 3G 2100 Orange 3G 2100 4G Orange 4G LTE 1800/2600Mhz Cellcom 4G LTE 1800Mhz Pelephone 4G LTE 1800Mhz Hot Mobile 4G LTE 1800/2100Mhz

  • Thank you for clarifying this (y) Btw how can u be so sure? I take the chance and buy it anyway :-)

  • That seller is talking about Xiaomi, where it's only possible after a month to unlock the bootloader. Honor Note 10 will NOT I repeat will NOT get a global ROM.

  • Was asking a seller on Alibaba for the glibal rom he answered this: Hi, yes, need wait after 1 months will had global firmware, we can install that . So we will see, i cannot wait, i need a new phone niw, so i hope it will work 100% okay in Denmark Europe.

  • i think honor note 10 only for china market.. same as note 8, i think all honor note series made for china market only..

  • Do you can share the link to buy it ?

  • Hello. I waited for the global version to come out. But since there is no announcement of that i decided to buy the chinese version. Can i use it in english language? And also can i uninstall the bloatwares that comes with the chinese version.

  • Works great - Poland

  • Arr you dont have it your self?

  • Matt - how do you get LTE with this phone with the chinese version on ATT? What band are you using to get this? You can use an app called "LTE Discovery" that will show you. According to the specs, it won't work in the USA with any LTE bands. Much appreciated!

  • Signal strength should be better on the Honor, as it's Huawei's forte...

  • U have this phone? And does it work 100% effective in Denmark? I got the mi max 3 and it have a very poor signal. I live in Bagsvaerd and never have problens with signals before, so i want to buy another big phone :-)

  • If u have at&t, cricket or any At&t mvno, ud get LTE. I have at&t and pull easily 19-35mbps. With stereo speaker's, great phone!

  • Looking like iPhone Xs 6.5" phone will be my next device. Don't want to spend $1100 with tax on one, but Galaxy Note 9 is very disappointing and not worth $1100. If only Honor brought the Note 10 to the US with LTE for $400 I'd jump on it.

  • Few days before presentation of Honor Note 10 we heard about Jack 3.5mm port and 6000 mah battery capacity. I am very dissapointed after I saw phone first time in real test. The worst thing is that there's no LTE 800 Mhz in specification. I'm eaiting for another big smartphone.

  • Is it absolutely confirmed it won't launch in Malaysia or globally cuz I'm not sure what phone to buy at this point ,I don't want to make a rushed decision and buy the Nova 3 or wait for the phone to release honestly I think this is better than the Nova 3

  • Everything seems good about this device, aside one thing. That is: Missing headphone jack port. Samsung managed to cram in an 3,5mm port and S - Pen in a 6,4" device, but Huawei hasn't managed to do it in a 6" device, but their mid - range and low - range devices have it.

  • Can any one tell me how the phone works in europe, maybe even in Denmark??

  • Preposterous of course, we're getting the lower quality device.

  • Yes, you are right. Instead of Note 10, they will launch "honor 8X" in European market.

  • No band 20, honor note 8 was also China only, confirmations by European hq's it's not intended for global market. Smell the smelling salt already. Get the CN version and be done with it.

  • HONOR Czech has confirmed that Note 10 is not intended for the European market

  • While I'm thinking about it, Huawei havent launched Note 10 Globaly just yet is simply because they dont have high enough stock to supply all the World. Therefore they are going step by step. First to supply their huge home market, once its saturated and stock is build up - it will be launched elsewhere.

  • No Global launch ever? You say that based on what? I doubt you can come up with an official Honor response to that. Lets think logically - the only reason companies dont launch products globaly if there is an oversaturation in that segment or no demand. There is literally no competition to Note 10 in mid to high-end ~7" market, while Xiaomi takes care of low-end with Max 3. And demand is pretty huge. It would be a definition of stupidity NOT to supply Note 10 globally. Within a few months it will be out, you'll see. Until then, I'll be happy with CN English version.

  • T-Mobile on this phone will get only 3g.

  • Does anyone here using Honor note 10 on T-mobile USA network? Does it work for LTE? Thank you.

  • Got this update from Honor suppport: Dear Sir, We widely appreciate your preference and we thank you for your support towards our devices. In regards to your request, we kindly inform you that at the moment we do not have any details or release date of the Honor 10 in the USA or global market. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, however, since the Honor 10, has not been released in the United States, it is not possible to provide you with further support or information regarding this device.

  • U can order from aliexpress. As mentioned they will help u to install Google play. U uninstall the Chinese apps

  • nobody knows if there will be or not we will find out later this month... i mean phone came to china market 1 month ago while honor play is almost 2 months on market

  • There won't be a global rom nor a global version, so that's that. You end up with a China rom/phone with bits of Chinese scattered throughout. A damn shame.

  • I bought it from wondamobile. £419 for 6/128, its cheaper if 64GB is enough for you (£383). Free shipping, no import taxes. I asked them about Global ROM, and they said its not available yet, but you can flash it when if comes out. As long as you dont root the phone, flashing doesnt affect the warranty. Those sites who sell "global rom" are misleading, they just install Google Play and disable some Chinese apps, and call it global. wondamobile also install Google Play, so no difference there. For those dissappointed Honor havent launched Note 10 Globaly yet, just get CN version and flash Global later, phone comes out in English anyway, so whats the problem? There is no better ~7" phone on the market currently.

  • Their own fault, I'm done with them

  • Using honor note 10. Chose English language on startup Removed chinese apps from phone. Ui is english. Only chinese i see i when you use the cpu turbo button. And that's it... It's like using an English phone. Hope this helps

  • Such poor marketing by honor , a cool device launched recently only in china and now its popularity is almost dead

  • Hello, Global Ram is available for Honor 10? Or not? How about the future?

  • I don't buy it. Taking too long and too vague.

  • No announcement as expected. So I emailed honor global a few days ago about an international honor note 10 and got this response: Honor Global 8:20 AM (3 hours ago) to me Dear Sir, Thank you for contacting Honor Support. Thank you so much for the interest. We are continuing to grow our global expansion. Just hang on there and check out our social media channels for availability updates.

  • Honor has not announced anything so nothing will be confirmed it's not coming. There will be no Global variant, period.

  • So there won't be any global version with global ROM of the honor note 10? Is it confirmed already?

  • this is getting ridiculous.... crap phones we get (honor play???) and really good ones not.. like mate10 never available in my coutry, had to import from dubai...and now honor note 10.. i want: big screen, loud speakers, and big battery...what are the choices? mi max 3? 5x slower and no nfc. ugly note 9 (hate curved screens)

  • Alright so there WON'T be a global Honor Note 10, this was all speculation brought on in the media. Too bad. They won't be getting my money, I don't want Chinese text in my ROM.

  • Hope so, i wanted this in Malaysia so badly

  • Will the global version be announced at IFA still? *crickets*

  • Yes. It has English by default and Google play store is available through the AppGallery

  • Dose any one tried to get this phone as is without installing the global Rom which has a lot of Chinese language on it I believe it has English by default

  • There isn't one. And tomorrow's announcement will be about Honor Play, not HOnor note 10 international. All these people are just parroting rumors that were said at the July 31 announcement that the international version *might* be revealed Aug 30.

  • Where is this global version that you speak of? Can you send a link to the website or something

  • Did you see bands 4 and 7 in the global version?

  • Where did you see the specification for the global version?

  • hello i just ordered the 6/128 china version on aliexpress for 430$ i em from Israel and i double checked with my Israeli provider it should work OK it is already on it's way

  • There's no LTE B20 in specification of Global Version.

  • Actually, they do provide updates about 3 to 4 months after the new version becomes available on the Pixel devices

  • "global firmware" doesn't matter much. It has to have the LTE bands that are used outside of china. Like 2, 12, etc. All missing from the chinese version. But yes, also needs to have OTA updates and google play store, etc. Hoping the "august 30th" announcement is for the note 10 international/global, but not holding my breath.

  • How is the display quality of note 10...Is it just well or extremely well to watch videos...

  • Global Honor Note 10 available from DHGate already.

  • Will it have LTE B20?

  • Wait 4 days and you'll have it! It's even official since 1 month ago, but you people are just fcking lazy, can't look for info on the web? GLOBAL VERSION GOES LIVE ON 31st OF AUGUST,2018!

  • honor always provide security updates for their older phones even they do not provide new Android update. You can trust honor.

  • It depends on your country. If the phone release in your regions, sure honor will provide it. However, I believe honor may launch low cost (they call it as "i" "lite") versions in India or some other countries to reduce the cost. That may not have Premium camera on front or back. So, the next phone would be Honor 10i Honor Note 10i :P

  • Does not look like there will be an international version of this phone. Very sad. Will not buy a chinese hacked rom again. No updates to android is bad news.

  • Yeah i dont get it why it become more and more taller ratio, the old time screen ratio is just fine

  • thanks. mate

  • is huawei honor note 10 available in the philippines? if yes, where is the exact location? thanks!!

  • Does anybody know what about global version? Will it have LTE B20?

  • Does it have gorrila glass?

  • No

  • True... I just got my mi max 3 on 6,9 inch 18:9, but better like my old asus zenfone 3 ultra on 6,8 inch 16:9, hate this 18:9 format...

  • Huawei P8 Max (2015) - 6.8 inch screen ratio 16:9 = 19.76 sq.inches. Huawei Honor Note 8 (2016) - 6.6 inch screen ratio 16:9 = 18.61 sq.inches. Huawei Honor Note 10 (2018) - 6.95 screen ration 18.5:9 = 19.00 sq.inches. >> bigger screen than the Note 8, but still not as much surface area as the P8 Max.

  • I bought the honor note 8 from Wondamobile (HK) and may upgrade to the Note 10. I have been very pleased with it in the UK, and i can recommend Wondamobile to do all the shiipping etc. (was 7 days delivery into UK) . Theres a few Chinese apps which can’t be deleted but not any problem. The Note 10 is less than 1/2 price os Samsung note 9 and looks to be 90% as good, I would guess.

  • Has anyone ordered / used this phone in Canada? I am interested but concerned about the lack of band 4 (and consequently LTE coverage) ? if you've used this in Canada, how's LTE been?

  • the global version will be released at the 31st of august

  • Working just fine in Serbia, Hungary, Germany. I mean Chinese version. Even faster than Mi MAX 2. 80Mbps of transfer speed

  • Has anyone ordered / used this phone in Canada? I am interested but concerned about the lack of band 4 (and consequently LTE coverage) ? if you've used this in Canada, how's LTE been?

  • I havent bought yet for the reasons I mentioned, waiting for the official global launch on 30 August and prices to drop. My plan is to pay up to £400 for 6/128 and EU warranty.

  • it's true..im from Malaysia, our technology media reported when honor launching note 10 in china almost month ago they said the global version will launch on 31 august

  • Great phone. Used it for a couple of days now.

  • Any confirmation if we can see this phone in Europe???

  • Where u get this info from? I hope is true...

  • Doesn't appear there will be a global/US/International version huh? Nothing from Honor about it. Anyone know if the chinese version works in the US on ANY carrier with LTE?

  • Yes there is FM Radio in Honor 10

  • Where did you see that friend?

  • Bought phone in China. After 3 days on my desk it started to bend. I think it is a overheating problem. Otherwise, very responsive, fast and rounded up phone. I cannot replace it, since I am from EU, but I will try to ask for Huawei support in my home country.

  • Honor note 10 or onplus 6 better? Is the note 10 too big?

  • How much you paid in total ?

  • the global version will be released at the 31st of august

  • Depends where you live, I'm from UK and buying from Aliexpress (or any non-EU shop) means heavy taxes and warranty problem (imagine sending phone to China every time you have an issue).

  • $430 for base model? Does it come with Google play services?

  • Never buy it from Amazon it's the same version in Aliexpress ( chinese version ) and for 430$ not 595 like amazon

  • Max3 is mid range this is flagahip there is no comparison

  • available on amazon.com now

  • it's on Amazon for lower than $600 now

  • mee too waiting for gsmarena to review it, please review it, would be better if there is compare review vs mi max 3

  • Lower than 400 Euros in China and more than 700 Euros in Europe? Wtf guys? If the price dont drop dramatically im thinking buying the Mi Max3

  • the global version selling for 749$ on Gearbest. wait till it drops to 500 or so

  • What's release date for global version? Should we wait more or not?

  • Is it available globally? Can anyone link a good trustworty Gsamrena like review

  • Is the 8GB RAM version available yet?

  • How is the amoled pentile full hd display supplied by samsung to Honor 10...is it just well or extremely well to watch videos...

  • Do anyone know if Wifi calling is a feature on this phone?

  • is Huawei Honor NOTE 10 compatible with dji drones...?

  • can you explain what is awsome about it?

  • That's true he didn't go into specifics and that is the main problem with his test. But he is trustworthy guy, he shows no bias (in fact he clearly stated that the Note 10 is overally superior device) and his test are standarized to a degree. The comparision test is probably not an artifact too because he did use both phones for days, probably charged them couple of times and that didn't change his opinion on battery performance (he did post the 10 days later video lately). It's a mistery to be honest. The difference in these results are just too big to be easly explainable.

  • Problem with Techtablets - he didnt say or show HOW he tested battery life. He just said 'demanding test' which can be anything, maybe some specific test is Max 3 friendly? Frankie showed on camera how (constant) normal use of Note 10 lasts 10 hours and Max 3 - 8 hours (which is inline with many other testers). How Techtablets got 13 hrs is beyond me.

  • To anyone who doesn't try this phone, please don't comment before you try it... After 15 days of using this phone i can say IT'S AWESOME.....

  • Great is it worth the upgrade?

  • Techtablets guy did his own test and it was the other way around. You can find his comparision video on youtube.

  • Why the hell some phones missing some important bands. I think all phones should have all important bands to use it globally.

  • Note 10, i have it already and it's much better

  • No

  • Or even prefer the honor 8x? Only the screens are better? 710?

  • Weak point Bluetooth 5.0

  • when will it available for global market, waiting for it available in Indonesia

  • I bet Huawei producers don't like you too!

  • Hopefully, they could make a review on this. and, Which is better, Xiaomi Mi 8 or Honor Note 10?

  • does it have ir blaster?

  • you can get from vmall.com

  • i already did.

  • it is not an surprise. it's because of the AMOLED display! the amoled display makes the biggest difference in battery time!

  • As for the source

  • Battery drain test: Honor Note 10 vs Mi Max 3 You know who won? Note 10 5000mah over Max 3 5500mah... That was unexpected. Max3 died after 8 hours, Note 10 lasted 10 hours, and thats with much faster CPU. Probably a combination of AMOLED + 10nm CPU + better software optimization? In any case, impressive win and one more reason to get Note 10.

  • For midrange phone 1080p is fine. As for official sites - its there on China's site, as its released there. It will be in English after its launched globally 30/08.

  • I think i will leave my mate 9 to this monster

  • How is the pentile amoled display of note10 supplied by samsung...is it extremely well to watch videos or just well...

  • The only negative is the resolution. 1080p on a 7" display destroys the PPI :( Is there any official site that sells it? Huawei and Honor official sites have nothing. How is that possible??

  • Compared to upcomming note 9 his phone is beast for a budget. Awesome work huawei please keep continue.

  • This phone trash the other brand Note series all the way. Good job Huawei!

  • Bought it here in Shanghai 2 days ago. So far so good.. My last 2 phones were Mi Max 2 and Galaxy S8, I'd say I'm loving this more than the previous ones. Although the battery timing is not as good as expected from a phone with 5000mah but still it fine.

  • My friends and i are waiting for this in philippines.hopefully it arrive soon.

  • Very nice ive been waiting for the coming of the unit to the philippines.

  • Definitely gonna buy it!!

  • Honor note 10 or foldable phone's... I'm not getting mi max 3 seems got alot of rumors or specs problem with confirming over the posters, chipset versions, data listing from last year to 19 july 2018, also full of lacks before official mi max 3. I Prefer the Honor note 10 or foldable phone's as well, better.

  • it is not released here at dubai !

  • lame phone copy samsungs note series but lacks 3,5mm jack...... fail

  • strange no water/splash/dust proof!!!! dedicated card slot!!!

  • Honor play is available in Saudi Arabia.

  • Honor Note 10 and Honor Play is not launched in ME(Gulf Countries)?

  • Are there fm radio?

  • No to honor 10 due to no grill for head phone jack.

  • Yup, saw it on reviews.. you can check in youtube, there's a couple of early reviews there by now

  • Does this have always on display on lockscreen?

  • Some crucial Hit and Miss. missing wireless charger and ear jack. The infamous useless chin, if Samsung had come up with something new and the copycats just jump on board right along. Great camera setup and huge battery, although 4500 mAH could have been plenty of juice already. I'll get one anyway, considering its good pricing range.

  • Ok thanks!

  • Such a big battery and no headphone jack... no thanks.

  • Thank you very much for the reply..

  • Huge phone... Too much from Huawei XD

  • 10h onScreen play game. Video more than 12h Amoled Screen is very clear and good. I come to Honor Note10 from S8+. Max bright the same same view but Note10 bigger!

  • Thanks for reply, will go for Max 3

  • not the screen specs.. i meant the battery life, the amount of time a user can spend with screen in use for one charge (like gaming, watching movies, browsing, etc.).

  • Protection screen.. gorilla glass?

  • Yes, Tubor is super fast!

  • No FM!

  • Yes, support all languages!

  • the china verison come with all lang? and its Supports fota updats? please answer

  • 6.95-inch, AMOLED, 18.5:9, 1080 × 2220 pixels

  • Does this device really have a FM Radio? There is no radio app on it!

  • What is the SOT of this phone?

  • Can someone state their screen on time with this phone? Please

  • there is more languages in the china verison ? like hebrew?

  • No, i am not a gamer but the phone is super fast..

  • Its expected Huawei will launch global version on August 30. Its also possible international ROM will appear sooner as it happened with Mi Max 3.

  • Have you tried GPU Turbo?

  • Does anyone have an idea if/when there will be a UK release date?

  • this September

  • Nearly 7" and 230g...no more phone or phablet, but real tablet. I miss my Panasonic G50 from 2003, cute and 75g only...

  • May i know when honor note 10 will come in to Malaysia? is it worth to buy it? bcos i like to watch movie and like the DOBLY

  • Just because the note line-up from samsung has a pen that doesn't mean that every company that has a phone series called note has to have a pen, it's not a rule to put a pen in it if it's called note.

  • Not every big phone has to come with a pen. I am quite content with this!

  • Did you try the camera ? I have the phone and the camera sometimes better than P20 Pro Just be honest...

  • Yes, Honor Note 19 is better... much better than Mi Max 3!

  • what makes this phone a note? I do not see a pen... in spite of the massive screen that comes with it.

  • but for it looks like its better than Mi Max 3, correct???

  • but for it looks like its better than Mi Max 3, correct???

  • This is the best for gaming. With CPU ang GPU turbo? Oh come on, why not?! Love this phone!!!!

  • Camera is not that good :(

  • Any estimate dates when i will be able to buy the Global Version with lower ( Normal Price) ? I see that some retailers on Aliexpress are already selling it but with very expansive price.... This processor Kirin 970 can I compare which Snapdragon (close to 845) ?

  • Does the camera really have NO sensors?

  • Hi need info about honor note 10. watching video is better on note 8 or note 10. as in the color contrast is better on note 8 or 10. also is the camera better on note 10 or note 8. Iam planning to buy this phone. Iam using honor note 10.

  • I live in Beijing and i bought it from here not online.

  • Did you got it online or from store?? When I tried to buy it from AliExpress the 6/128 version I found it for 600$ I live in usa

  • I didn't try Samsung.

  • Better than Samsung S9+? :)

  • Yes

  • The Dolby Atmos speakers unbelievable beautiful sound :)

  • Does this have led notification

  • Everything fine and super fast.

  • Battery worked with me for more than 55h normal use like chatting, watching Youtube and Facebook but not hard work. I didn't try the on screen time but the battery life is awesome and better than Honor Note 8.

  • 485 dollars for 126/6GB

  • how is performance ?

  • How is battery life? How much screen time you got?

  • Thank you. How much did you pay for it in dollars?

  • Does anybody have the information about the date when the start selling In europe`?

  • Prices are still too high, it's quite a bit over 500 bucks for the 64GB version. I am willing to pay around 400 but that's it.

  • Aliexpress (y)

  • Does this have led notification?

  • I live in Beijing and i bought it the same 3 days ago.

  • The screen and the colors SUPER GOOD :)

  • How is the display, is it sharp or a bit fuzzy due to the ppi? Do you know if it's pentile or RGB pixels?

  • Where did you buy it? Is it even possible to buy?

  • I bought the phone already two days ago and its awesome.. Especially the stereo speakers up and down making the sound unbelievable.. Camera is super good. Great phone for big screen fans....

  • Chinese manufacturer should put women as a model instead of men.

  • Does anyone know which manufacturers camera sensors Note 10 is using?

  • Thanks for cofirming. I might buy it to test it.

  • This or the Xiaomi MI 8?

  • Great phone but with no headphones jack :S

  • For some, but not me :-)

  • Not worth to upgrade from honor note 8,missing headphone jack,Super AMOLED & 443ppi. im using honor note 8.

  • I support huawei

  • Now i know. Check the upcoming huawei mate 20 lite, it now supports BT 5.0 aptX.

  • Too big not to include 3.5 jack, no way!

  • I'm going to give up about this new model display resolution because the previous model (Huawei honor note 8) has got a higher display resolution. I hope Huawei will think and do something about this issue.

  • Yes, it has PC mode, Huawei made it very clear during presentation.

  • FM Radio without 3.5mm jack?

  • without 3.5mm headphone jack it's useless

  • Indeed... Mi Max is no option for me though. I reckon the prices will lower quite swiftly.

  • Does this phone support pc mode? I want to try it with my Microsoft display Dock. And connect some controler through the usb port of the display Dock and enjoy playing on the big screen. Can anybody confirm Pc mode support?

  • Yes, its strange. Whats the point for Huawei to announce official pricing and then inflate that price 2x on their own official outlet. I'll wait what pricing Note 10 will have in EU after global launch. If its anywhere near launch recommended price - I'll get 6/128, if the price will be inflated - Max 3 looks like a very good alternative. 3.5 jack, bigger battery and all.

  • Lol the 64gb version is 560(!!!) dollar on aliexpress official huawei store. Crazy high price! Please all send them a message it's overpriced.

  • yes, I agree with you. TBH, I do also have a bluetooth headset. but Im not using it for so long. I bought again a headset with 3.5mm jack. I find the wired one more comfortable because its just plug and play unlike the hustle bluetooth headset where you need it to charge most of the time. In the long run, the battery will just drain fast which is not a problem with wired headset

  • Quiet a downgrade compared to Honor Note 8... Significantly lower resolution screen and on a such a plate of a phone they didn't manage to find a spot for the headphone jack. Too bad. I'm never buying this one.

  • Why is huawei (honor note 10) competing with xiaomi (mi max 3).........carefully these are similar nonses.....the bezel!

  • this phablet has a flagship chipset with a midrange screen

  • This has the same chipset as those phones. In fact it's even faster thanks to the CPU and GPU turbo

  • Does anyone know why Huawei uses only Bluetooth 4.2 instead of 5? Even for their flagship P20 Pro.

  • Lmao this phone has the same chipset as the p20 pro, if u call it slow I don't know what to say......

  • Huawei adding another bad phone in their lineup. Please dont buy Huawei phone unless u buy the P20 or P20 pro. All the other fones including this have bad camera and bad specs. Their phones are to expensive to with slow chipset. Please dont sell this here in india. Xiaomi has better specs and cheaper price. Go back to china huawei.

  • Hopefully they make an international version. Can't be stuck on a hacked chinese ROM for 2 years again!

  • This is even worse in size of 5 years ago phones not even old Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G is bigger than the new mate ????

  • To tell you the TRUTH, headphones with 3.5mm jack (especially for phones with QuadDAC such as LG V30) SOUNDS WAY BETTER than Bluetooth headphones. The headphone with 3.5mm jack is far more PRACTICAL than Bluetooth headphones as it is just plug-and-play. Sure yours is an exception BUT that costs a lot of money and you have to recharge the battery every few days. Once the battery on your Bluetooth headphone couldn't maintain charge (I guess 1-2 years depending on your usage), you will just dump the expensive one away right and buy a new one as if it is a norm?? This just means more e-waste being generated in the landfill. In conclusion, Bluetooth headphones need another 10 to 15 years to match headphones with 3.5mm jack in terms of battery life.

  • Yes, Dual stereo speakers down and up

  • is this phone have stereo speakers?

  • No IR Blaster or Infrared port?

  • No IP68, no buying! I am going to Samsung or LG.

  • No LTE band 20? Or perhaps in the future EU release?

  • wait a minute, a reliable chinese reseller is talking about USB-to-Earphone adapter. Maybe we don't need the 3.5 jack after all....

  • any information about the versions!!?? is this going to be Chinese version or global???

  • The Huawei MediaPad X2 I bought 3 years ago looks better than this one!

  • there type c adapter to 3.5jack 😁

  • Nice! no notch :)

  • Wait for the Honor Note 10.

  • No headphone jack - no purchase. No bootloader unlock - no purchase. No SD card - no purchase.

  • so you get rid of unlocked bootloader and the 3.5 mm jack? well, way to waste a phone.

  • No problem here, right now i have a even bigger phone asus zenfone 3 ultra 6,8 inch with the old big bezel. I have still place for other things in my normal size pocket to. I think only really really thin skinny humans with trousers in size 26 or somthing maybe not have room in the pockets for my zenfone 3 ultra, but the note 10 i dont see the problem neither. But opposite i would nearly never could find a 4,4 inch mini phone in my pocket to or what the small phones have of inch seriously ;-)

  • It's just bugs me because it is so easy to implement and provides no benefits in removing it.

  • NO 3.5 mm Jack 355 ppi for 7 inch screen? You serious? No thank you!

  • You clearly cared enough to respond to me. :)

  • didn't even notice that, thanks!

  • To those people complaining so much about 3.5mm jack, at least there is another solution of a dongle that one can use. What of other great features of the phone?? Like that 5000mah battery which is rare to come by. If 3.5mm is a deal breaker for you maybe you need to get an iPod or any other mp3 player because that's the only best thing you are going to do with your smart phone.

  • A solution not to misplace or forget audio jack dongle, just insert the dongle into the 3.5mm jack of your headphones and let always stay there permanently with your headphones/earphones, and you will never worry anymore! It works for me. And still I own Bluetooth headphones

  • wdgaf what you think either bro

  • No. There.

  • Why All Mobile Phone Companies Make Big Screen Size phone ????

  • I choose a phone that has all the functions I need on it. If one phone covers 9/10 and another covers 10/10. I'm choosing the one that covers my needs. 3.5 still has it's functions, and while I understand where technology is going, other options are still inconvenient.

  • Can't unlock the bootloader. That is deal breaker for me.

  • bluetooth earbuds cost a lot, they cost like 150 and if they break you will have spend another 150, also they have a charge so if you forget to charge them then you can't use them at all. Instead you can get wired earphones that cost like 2 pounds and it doesn't matter if they break cuz they are cheap.

  • I was thrilled about this phone until I realized it has no headphone jack. Instant pass. Way to lose a potential customer, Huawei. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Don't quote me if you support removal of headphone jack. idgaf what you think.

  • Actually it should fit in most pockets just fine. I use a Xiaomi mi max 2 as a secondary phone and it fits just fine in any pocket (with some wiggle space inside too). Considering that this phone is only 3 centimeters taller, it should be fine

  • the first thing you see of a phone is its screen, and after two years from honor note8; i wish huawei just used the old one, but he downgrades it from QHD to FHD, every thing else is great about this phone, but somehow they're wasted when screen isn't impressive 😒

  • I'm going to get either the Max 3 or Honor Note 10, whichever is released in India first.

  • Just use Bluetooth earbuds. There.

  • Honestly seems a little too big for a phone...is this supposed to fit in anyone's pockets? (serious question).

  • So get the MI max 3, just simple as that! Some of us its not a big deal missing the 3.5mm jack with quality Bluetooth headphones everywhere nowdays, i can't complain much.

  • why no 3.5mm jack??? no room inside 7" phone for this jack?? cannot understand them

  • Dongle* not single, AutoCorrect

  • The 3.5mm jack is very necessary for me, I use earphones and don't want to carry around a single with me 24/7 and if I lose it then i will not be able to use my earphones, such an inconvenience. I also use the aux cable in the car so it's annoying without 3.5mm jack, also Xiaomi made the mi max 3 and that has a bigger battery but still has the jack

  • No front glass protection?

  • I forgot something, and the phone will sell at a reasonable price!

  • If you still choose a phone based on 3.5 jack you are a joke! We are evolving now from that, did you even read the specs that this beast packs??!! Where can you find a phone with that big OLED display, Kirin 970 processor, those cameras and finally the selling point of the phone, the humongous 5000mah battery!!!! Sometimes I don't understand some people. Would you rather have a 5000mah battery phone or 3.5 jack which still you get a dongle in the box??

  • Please go we don't need whiners!!!

  • Bye, don't come back

  • No headphone jack, lol bye.

  • so big and no headphone jack wtf ?!

  • Its in the past now, it is slowly disappearing. Use Bluetooth or the provided Type-C to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter

  • Nice, but it is without IP68, so I go to Samsung!

  • ... And no 3.5mm earphone jack..

  • WOOOOOW, Honor killed em all. At this price and with these BEAST specs it has to be a BEST SELLER. HUUUUUGE 5K battery, big AMOLED display, CPU & GPU turbo. It has everything you need at an excellent price!!! Go Honor!!

  • Hands on video! Looking gorgeous

  • At last, it is here! Around the same pricing as the Honor Note 8 at the time. Hopefully no issues this time around. Great design (shame about the front branding though but oh well) and no notch after all it seems? The only thing I'm missing is a 2K resolution, like on the Note 8. 6.95 inch and 1080p res is probably not very sharp, but we'll see. All in all very impressed. Wish I could already buy it.

  • No headphone jack. What the hell were you thinking huawei? Also pretty expensive at 470$ for the 6gb version.

  • More important, since AMOLED, pentile or not? If pentile FHD+ on 7" then no thanks, unacceptable. If RGB then it's still ok. Not impressive, but not bad either.

  • That's was close... 970 was officially plus 6.95inch.

  • 1080 x 2220 pixels,,,,,,mmmmm

  • is face unlock supported in this ?

  • At least it's an AMOLED panel, unlike the Mi Max 3...

  • Um, how is that bad lol?

  • Very disappointing that it lacks document editor, infrared po rtability and bluetooth 5+ ....

  • Oh, that's still a bad reputation on LG until now... Welp, that's true on my auntie's G5 before. She kept using it for almost a year until the bootlooping happened. Because of that, she didn't even get a warranty repair due to LG's laziness. She switched to Vivo V5 for now.

  • The officially lastest confirmed the screen size are diagonal 6.9 inch or 6.95 inch?

  • Is official screen are 6.9 or 6.95 inch?

  • Oh shoot. Sorry, I didn’t know

  • 355 ppi for 7 inch screen? No thanks. Period

  • You are absolutely right! There is no such thing as free in the world. Whenever a free tag is included, you should know you are possibly paying more than you would if it would be offered with a price tag.

  • I agree that IP certification is not important for folks who are relatively careful, and/or who buy a decent case.

  • See this folks? This is why NO MORE LG PHONE FOR ME. OS fiasco and terrible support, enough reported.

  • The idea of switching and reducing resolution to conserve the battery life is great. For text reading, you may actually want a reduced resolution whereas for watching videos you may like increased resolution. Every smartphone maker should offer it.

  • Who needs ip68, 69, 70 ?? How often do you talk at the phone in hard rain or in the pool ?? 99% of users keep their ip68 certified phones in bags, purses, away from water 99,9% of lifetime of the device. Ip68 is useless like fingerprint recognition. A few stupid guys took their ip68 phones in the bath, in hot steam. After bath, in a normal enviroment, the circuit board inside the phone made dew inside. The phone crashed forever end guarantee was cancelled forever :))))

  • Its gonna be almost like carrying a min Ipad around in your pocket.... But the specs on this phone is a killer.... Hope huawei/ honor put a great camera too like the Honor 10....

  • Almost 18 cm !!

  • Looks like v30

  • Again Bluetooth 4.2. WTF Huawei?

  • Where is the IP68, Huawei?! :((

  • Actually, the V10 and V20 both suffered from boot loop and even some G6 models. I know for sure about the V20, because it happened to mine and LG replaced the PCB board under warranty with no cost to me. They also repaired my shattergate issue under warranty after I fought with them and had to email their MD for my country to get an answer.

  • That Honor looks like a big Xiaomi Redmi Pro with the Fingerprint Scanner on the back.

  • So,no 1440p,no kirin 980? well, I'll skip this phone. my honor note 8 still sufficient i think.

  • Maybe the resolution drop is to conserve a little more battery ? abit like samsung introduced in the galaxy s7, after an update you could reduce the resolution and improve battery and performance , not sure though and I'm just offering my thought at why they might have reduced it

  • even for free is too expensive

  • If the rumoured specs are true I will not be buying this phone. My Honor Note 8 still lasts a few days between charges. I'm disappointed in the reduced the resolution from 2560x1440 from the HN8 to the 2220x1080 in this device. This would result in a lower PPI density which would make the display look less sharp. The screen area is actually about the same as HN8. The diagonal measurement appears bigger because it has a different aspect ratio. The height and width of this device are smaller than the HN8 yet this new phone is thicker and heavier than its predecessor. I hope the Mate 20 will improve upon some of the lackluster features of this phone.

  • Hope a Pro version will come along with this phablet for upgrades and to replace some missing important specs

  • Wait does it only do 1080p at 30 frames?

  • Perhaps it's time to switch

  • The major issue with LG in India is that their online support sucks; they don't respond to customer concerns (although the service center support is decent). Moreover, for G4 LG has offered upgrade of L to M only (despite bootloop and other disasters), which is unacceptable.

  • The problems haven't been reported in any other LG phone since the G5. I think they've fixed it, but they're guilty of not doing anything about the other phones

  • This device was more interesting than Max 3.

  • What do you think about OnePlus 6 vs. Asus Zenfone 5z? Both have 402 PPI, but the former have Optic AMOLED whereas the latter has IPS LCD. To me, 5z should look better.

  • This argument sounds valid although I personally think 1080p is more than enough for a 7" phablet. SAMOLED is something that may require higher PPI, and this is obvious from your example. Thank you for your comments.

  • Still using this, but stopped keeping sensitive data. The idea of buying a flagship mobile that could get most of the jobs done has failed by G4. So much potential is killed by LG.

  • This year I will have to skip buying a tabphone. Mi Max 3 doesn't have NFC, but Honor Note 10 has an appalling screen. 2K should have been a must. 335 ppi is OK for IPS LCD, but Super AMOLED screens look terrible at so low resolution. Everything is blurred. Have a look at Samsung budget phones (e.g. Galaxy J non-Pro series), and you will see what I mean. It's miserable that Huawei decided to bury so great phone just for saving on display.

  • Well that sucks. What do you use now?

  • may be normal eyes can't recognize high ppi, but my eyes are near-sighted and I totally can see difference in my s8+ when i change resolution from QHD+ to full hd+

  • I cannot give them another "chance" by risking my data once again. The Google search revealed they knew it would happen, but they didn't care to warn. And, my data in LG phone got screwed twice, one by bootloop, the other by some software error (read my previous comment about microSD).

  • and that beautiful design

  • Come on, you gotta give em a chance. They screwed up, like a bunch of other manufacturers badly. Bootloop is in the past after all. I understand the fear of it happening again, but LG phones don't do that any.

  • Not quite so. 1080p is the way to go for 7" or less. Human eyes can't recognize benefit from PPI ~ 220 or more, let alone 400/500 (go figure, read scientific articles). It's a pure marketing. You get benefit from a better quality display though, or even from a HQ photo/video. SAMOLED is definitely better than LCD at a cost, but one may prefer IPS LCD over SAMOLED, thanks to certain advantages of the former over the latter.

  • Don't talk about that please, I want to forget it as it screwed my data, specially, my contacts. On top of that, my 64 GB microSD became corrupt later on, and I'm sure thanks can go to LG software. So, even if they get best HW on paper, I won't buy another LG phone, EVER.

  • Kirin 970 made its debut during the stone age. Kirin 980 or I'm out, in fact everyone should stay away from this 970 weakling shame of a phone, gross....

  • Should be Android 9.0 for this phone.

  • It's smaller than Huawei Honor Note 8 :)

  • Yes. For advance features and up to date specs.

  • Super AMOLED to many is superior than IPS LCD and it is also more expensive. Also I use full black theme on most apps and with extreme usage I get 2 days of battery on Mate 10 Pro.

  • Lemme guess, UI works funny and bootloop?

  • Mate series is my personal favorite

  • So many flagships from Huawei XD IDK which one is better than the other lol.

  • NO.....no, too BIG to consider.

  • yep, totally a mess, i wanted to buy it but today i saw it has full hd screen with this size! such a disgusting ppi, what did they think ??!!

  • this is a step backward. honor note 8 has a better screen this is what note 8 has, 1440 x 2560 pixels, 16:9 ratio (~443 ppi density)

  • Still don't know, which series should I consider as their Flagship? :D

  • Probably around 400

  • Can someone guess the price?

  • interested!i own Note 8 over one year work perfect so far!Cant wait!

  • uh... too big?

  • Still came to leave a comment... Funny guy

  • From 6000 mah to 4900mah 🤔🤔

  • Not interesting... at all!

  • I switched to Mate 10 from Galaxy Note 4 and can tell you it's fine. the major annoyance is that you need to add to power exclusions all apps that you want to receive notifications from always (otherwise "ai" will sometimes block them). If the OS is your only concern, i'd say go for it. i was more worried about non-amoled screen, but everything's fine.

  • No more LG phone for me, NEVER again.

  • Tell that to the V30... great battery life.

  • I'll look forward to it. The only concern is Huawei OS (which, according to many folks, not so great). Additionally, I don't like use of resolution more than 1080p in a phablet as it tends to reduce the battery life. You don't need more than 1080p either in a 7" screen.

  • I owned the Honor Note 8 and it showed clipping/black crush on video a lot... Meaning black artifacts where it should have been gray like shadows. Example of black crush

  • The Honor note 8, is not suffering of anything. I have it 3 years now, I'm working on it several hours on day and it haven't any problem at all. I'm absolutely satisfy with it. It's a moster!!!

  • They better fixed the display, because Honor Note 8 suffered from black crush

  • Will this have loud stereo speakers?

  • I live in Beijing and will buy it immediately when it comes..

  • Looks like not Honor Note 9 anymore. The GM announced it will be Honor Note 10. I guess the specs will be better than the listed.

  • Please look at the flagship camera megapixel count. 12 is ideal because you get the least noise while getting good detail

  • Yep

  • So this phone won´t be realised right? Honor Note 10 instead?

  • the amount MPX does not matter ,

  • 12MP CAMERA??? Is it year 2012?? 🤣

  • Buy it online I saw one for €300 but I am not sure if it is real because it isn't launched yet

  • yes you can and you should in fact!

  • This is my dream phone. A true phablet that will allow me to ditch my ASUS tablet. But I don't think the USA will ever see this phone. It will probably be limited to the lucky people in Asia. But I can still dream, can't I?

  • When huawei honor note 8 and honor note 9 release date in malaysia?

  • Android 7.0 and emui 5.0 Really??? and it is 2018 You must be joking

  • On paper seems like a fantastic phone can't wait to get one..will definitely trade in my Mate 9 and Samsung s8 for it.. Wonder why Huawei is delaying the release, the s9+ and Note 8 and P20 pro are already released a while?????? Pls Huawei let us know what's happening or the release date at least....

  • I live in china, i have the honor note 8 and honor 9 it, s not selling yet.

  • even the 6.6 inch display will exceed the mark of 160 mm

  • If this can have dimensions of not over 160mm(height) and 80mm (width) it would be cool.

  • nice very

  • I do not have another choice, I'll wait for the Honor Note 10 and until then, I will continue with my Honor Note 8

  • What? N9 got BT v 4.2 But got Free Local Radio FM.(useless) Omg..But y S9+got BT v5.0 BT v.5.0 is great.

  • I agree.

  • hybrid dual SIM :/ it's useless

  • I am very upset that Huawei has neglected to release any release dates for this device since it was supposed to be released in Q4 of 2017 and it is now almost Q2 of 2018. Many of us have been waiting for it for so long and they don't seem to care much! If you have information on the release date, please post!

  • If the specs materialize, including 4600mAh battery I will send regards to my Samsungs... (Note 4, Note 8, & C9 Pro). Looking forward to Huawei Honor Note 9

  • Adorable phone-love at first sight !!!

  • adorable geniusphone

  • Please keep tabs in appropriate category!

  • Anyone have any update or info on actual real release date for this device?

  • Anybody knows if this is gonna be available in Europe? I would buy for sure.

  • Yess they keeping the headphone jack😆😆

  • Hey there, I totally agree with this, but they mostly go together. I have a 950 XL and i really can't see how this or any other 12 MP camera will beat mine's. The samples I get in comparison to mine are quite poor. As a Windows phone user that will have to move to Android due to Windows discontinuation, have to be sure that i will not downgrade myself to a mediocre camera :/

  • Can't wait for this phone to arrive in Bangladesh.

  • Does anyone have any update or information on actual real release date on this device?

  • I have the 8 but don't really see in this rumored spec list any major differences. RAM goes up by two gigs, a marginally faster proc..... and that's about it?

  • I fear this phone doesn't exist and if it does it will never make it to the USA. Very bummed. This is very near the phone of my dreams. A true phablet which will allow me to get rid of my tablet once and for all. Thank you, Huawei for sticking with the 16:9 ratio so men with big fingers can make use of the keyboard.

  • Hey Alexis I know that does matter how many megapixel do you have but the SENSOR SIZE matters more AS WELL AS APERTURE matters

  • Perfect size...every company should release at least one device bigger than 6,5''. What I don't understand is the 12 MP camera...accompanied by such powerful specs. It should have at least a 20 MP camera!! I would really buy it then...

  • I think he means he has the Huawei Honor Note 8. Honor Note 9 is not out yet and may never come out :(

  • Where did you buy it?

  • I have this phone working in Ireland, great phone, battery. everything works fine, the camera could be a bit better but it's still ok. 4g works too.

  • Honor? More like Galaxy...

  • I purchased the Honor Note 8 and it works on AT&T, T-Mobile and Metro PCS.

  • I had the honor note 8 and it worked fine on AT&T with hspa+

  • I like the phone very well. I just can't find a carrier that it will work with on all their bands. It''s made for China Only. What a shame I purchased 2 before I found this out. I now have 2 $400.00 paper weights. I wish China would make it for the USA.

  • When are they going to release this phone? Why not in the US?

  • A better chipset and a good camera would make of this a best seller

  • Huawei won't enter the US market yet, they can't compete with Samsung and Apple.

  • I hope this phone is real. So little rumours or news regarding this phone :/ The only recent news regarding a Honor phone lately is the Honor V10.

  • Not useless for listening to music.

  • yes man one of the best phone even use

  • I agree with what you said. I have bought Honor Note 8 online. I am very satisfied but Chinese applications I can't remove get on my nerves. Maybe I will like it later as I am learning Chinese. Anyway far better than any phone I have used so far. And I had used many. Samsung and Apple are no longer phones I like. This honor note 8 is 3times cheaper and works far better.

  • -Kirin 970 -Android Oreo -18:9 aspect ratio

  • Yes, something's for everybody and some for others. I prefer bigger phones with better specs

  • Must stay 6.6" there are plenty of other tiny phones for you small handed people to buy. We will large hands need a great large phone for us. Oreo, dual stereo speakers, white option, flat screen with no damn curved edges, NFC, smaller chins that the 8, no bezel or as small as possible, I hate round corners so as square as possible without being sharp, great camera , and all for $500usd. I'll take it. Hurry already. I need it now.

  • I hope the edges aren't as curved as the S8. Dual speakers, NFC, good camera, make those chins as small as possible. Love the size, perfect for me. Goldy locks. Needs Oreo too.

  • It could be the best phablet of 2017. As said by almost everybody, it will depend on the Rom and on bands available. It could also be cheaper than others. I am looking forward to it being announced

  • PLease US or european version. No more chinese roms with no updates! This phone would rock if it has US LTE bands!

  • #IOOI #MaxYourView @Honorglobal #NewHonorPhone December 05th, 2017 (Tuesday) | London, UK

  • Hopefully European LTE broadbands will be announced. I also Hope for high-end specs including stereo jack! Pleaseeee.

  • I hope that this is the device Huawei is presenting 5 december in London!

  • I really hope this device isn't just a goof

  • Will sure buy it when it launches

  • They released the Honor Note 8 in Sep 2016, the Mate 10 in December 2016. Still no announcement looks ominous.

  • I agree. I have a Huawei X2, and will definitely go for this one. I'm wondering whether they are ever going to release this phone... I've been waiting for 2 months now.

  • agree

  • Not to worry. Huawei works for T-Mobile. My Huawei P8 Max, has 6.8inch screen. Ordered through Amazon. I have used it for more than two years without any problems. I will buy this Honor note 9 for sure. I like the Mate 10 pro but the screen is too small and that's disappointing.

  • It would be nice to see this with bands 2,4,12 for use in the US on T-Mobile. I'd pay $1000 for this if it worked here. Huawei is the last hope.

  • I am starting to feeling unsure about its release. Honor already announced the new 7x & 6C Pro but not Note 9 yet and there's only one alternative option, Vivo x20 plus (i'm not counting MiMax 2).

  • So you are waiting for the Obama Onumbnuts Special Ed.?

  • oh chipset HiSilicon Kirin 965 is old so let upgrade to 970 , and other os is old upgrade to oreo, we are all wishes to highest level internal storage mobile and i hope this one will come with huge internal space . allow sd card dual sim slot, use super amoled display,

  • Hope they keep it 6.6" without all that curvature of Note 8 and alike.

  • Excellent specs.Just change from Android Nougat to Oreo and you cud be leader of smartphone

  • This is welly god phon but i wait better digesn

  • I'm waiting for this phone & I hope the software info (Nougat Preloaded) is false and that it'll come with Oreo instead. I hope the ugly black border around the screen 'll be gone as well!. I hope the dimensions are smaller than the previous model.

  • I hope to launch as soon as possible. Does anyone know the date?

  • I hope Huawei put accurate, prescise, reliable highest class compass sensor in it with native compass tool app which has calibration feature ..as Apple, Xiaomi,, Samsung did...

  • Please change the picture, that one is from the Honor Note 8. I hope it comes in black now. The first Honor Note 8 picture was black, but they never released that color.

  • 2017 is the year of small bezels. Whoever doesn't get on the train can get out!

  • Useless on a phone setting?

  • if they want compete with samsung note then yes....

  • Should be IP68

  • With this giant, why no stereo speakers, make no sense.

  • Well if you suffer so many loss in your life as i then you will forfeit black forever. I dislike it at all but maybe not as much as apple brand. I am able to wear black but not pure black. For example a black t-shirt with some picture or half black half white etc. As long as its not pure black i can have or wear that.

  • You still get hspa+ which is not bad. That's what I get on P8 max and is fine

  • Wow... Seems they announced a King.

  • But black hides fingerprints, also suits every worn color on textile and feels classy. Also most people use a custom case to show their "special" character. Black also has highest resell value, iphone's special edition was "jet black" for reasons. But that's just my opinion.

  • This is more like tablet than a phone but looks great. And for a guy commented bellow black color is sign of death i dislike black color for many reasons. Its sad, clumsy, upset color. Everything else but not happy color for people filled with hapines and joy.

  • It's Will not work for tmobile lte...

  • My main concern is, will this phone work on TMobile network. I'm looking to get another phone.

  • So much powerful phones to choose from this year including this monster right here , well done Huawei this one is a beast

  • Bring this one finally in black color and take my money! The sh*ty colors of Honor Note 8 were the major reason i didn't buy it last year.

  • this is a beastly machine! but I guess its too big.......
