This phone is a piece of junk and there is no update or anything that fixes it!! Wish I would have never wasted my money effort or time! Factory reset they say may help! Ha ha no luck doesn't charge alot of the time shuts your data off most the time doesn't ever finish sync never updates never really lets you do anything! Only thing it's good for is frustration! Going to stomp the heck out of it when I purchased a different brand of phone! Then I'm going to take a hammer to just for the heck of it. U will need theropy with all the frustration this phone will cause you! Never ever a htc anything again! This is my post and opinion and how I feel about their htc 612 desire! Something to be desired for sure!

Great phone. NFC works great with Andriod pay. Having a hard time finding a leather (ish) belt clip case that is NOT 2 times the size of the phone

Thanks for the straight talking. I got an HTC incredible when they first came out. The phone lasted years. I already ordered this yesterday as I know the quality. Im just reading up on how much y'all love em while im waiting for it to arrive. A lot of crybabies here :)

If you say the screen is HUGE then this must be your first smart phone... but its an OK phone for that price, not GREAT.

I just got my HTC Desire 612 phone and LOVE IT so far! I don't get how people think the screen is small, as its huge to me. I'm still trying to figure some things out on it but other than that it's the best phone I've ever had!

No such thing as a "normal phone" . Either the phone is huge overall so people can be happy with a big screen or the phone is small with big screen, or big with small screen or small with small screen. Every physical new has It's own uniqueness so quit complaining. If you don't like it don't buy it. Test oupurpose before you "waste your money". I happen to love the simplicities that is the HTC desire 612. I had an LG G2 and am happy with my decision. The HTC has been helpful as the front facing speakers make it easier for my horses to listen to Pandora with me. Thank you HTC for keeping it up to date and simple!!!

Htc butterfly S, butterfly2, sony z3, moto g, moto x dual speaker phones have more compact equal sized bezels at the top and bottom and equal spacing of speakers.So their screen will be exactly in the center of the phone and both the speakers at equal distance from the screen which has symmetry in design.

It's not the usability and dual speakers that made the bottom bezel large.htc has equal sized bezels with equal spacing of speakers from the screen in butterfly S and butterfly2 where the screen is exactly in the center of the phone and speakers placed with equal distance from the screen. In desire 612 and all other dual speaker phones in the One and Desire series the bottom bezel is larger than the top bezel so the screen's position is toward the top and not in the center of the phone. The speaker at the top also will be close to the screen while speaker at the bottom will be away from the screen. So there is no symmetry in the design which spoils the beauty of all htc dual speaker phones except the butterfly S and butterfly 2.Even Sony's Z3 and Motorola's G and X have equal sized and compact bezels at the top and bottom the Althe the scree phones desire

no problem about battery.i worked with desire 610 for 7days and it was ok.if you guys want to has removable battery for trip or .... for change and shifting battery it's better that you buy a super charger.it's very better.if you guys buy a 6000mA super charger it would charge your desive 3times.and if you sell this phone you would be able to save it for other phones. and about removable battery and second battery it will get to decay or some thing like sulfate if you don't use it every times.so you have to change the battery every other day and bother yourself. ok?

htc shouldn't make non removable battery. their service center is very few. that will be a problem if phone hang. and 2040mah isn't sufficient. but i like front stereo speakers.

if htc reduces bottom bezel it's hard and dangerous to work with android button.be aware if the bottom bezel made small the handiness and take it in hand will be hard and dangerous because phone couldn't set in your hand and could falls easily when work with button.in addition htc huge and powerful speaker needs more spaces.... htc fixes and increases screen quality and makes this phone very well for midrange target.thanks htc
