Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite 8 - User Reviews

  • Indeed it is extreme lite...

  • How can we get it in Nigeria?

  • I am eagerly anticipating the release of this tablet in the UK market. But, has anyone tried installing a third-party launcher such as Nova launcher? Has all the features of the launcher been compatible so far? And does Huawei's gestures and navigations been able to function alongside the launcher's features? And is it possible to delete or disable Huawei's first party apps? My other concern is being a "lite" version it may get slower than usual updates than it's M5 brother?

  • Hi. Have questions re the various gestures and navigations available on EMUI 9.0 & 9.1. The one thing I hate about EMUI is the presence of the three-way nav buttons on the bottom of the screen and having the apps drawer icon in the homescreen. Is there a way (or a feature in the settings) that would allow gestures and navigations similar to iOS or Pixel devices doing away the nav buttons and the apps drawer icon and having no apps in all the homescreens?

  • does it support M-Pen?

  • hoping that this device will come to malaysia.. if this is priced under MYR1000 then it will be a good deal..

  • Looked this up in the local AD. I would have bought this tablet had it used USB Type C. At micro-USB is just a plain deal breaker for me. Why would you skimp on USB type C for that old micro USB? Just to save a few bucks? It actually diminishes the value proposition of your budget offering.
